I tried really hard to keep myself from ranting about this but the sexualization and fetishization of Daphne Blake is something that deeply disturbs me. Fine, people are allowed I guess to draw their fanart porn and everything –– I won’t claim to understand that but fine whatever. But when that fanart starts to fetishize her and make her as nothing more than a sex object, that’s when it becomes a real problem. Daphne started as nothing more than a punchline to a joke, a stock character. More recently WB has been working hard to erase that perception of her and make her more than a damsel always needing to be rescued. And then there’s all these fan arts of her tied up and defenseless and it makes me sick. It just revolts me, because it’s not like there’s a story behind it, it’s not like she’s trying to reassert herself NO it’s gross artists using her as nothing but jack-off fuel because it’s “sexy” to be scared and defenseless and afraid. 

They don’t consider what being kidnapped so much means and leads to. They don’t care about her as a character, and that’s what bothers me. Some artists won’t use a certain color on a male character because that character dislikes it, but they’re fine bending reality to suit their gross fetishes? having daphne all tied up despite the fact that she likely has terrible associations with it?? and that’s not just me, like that’s practically fucking canon?? you don’t need to read between the lines to infer it’s possible. like, fuck outta here. i know male artists are capable of taking detail into consideration, but for some reason that consideration flies out of the table when it comes to female characters??? FUCK OUTTA HERE. treat female characters with the respect they deserve. treat daphne blake with the respect she deserves. god.

Hairstyles and realizations

Dr Maru’s notes, translated

As an Assyriologist-in-training, I was pretty excited about cuneiform’s little cameo in Wonder Woman- there are no films at all about Mesopotamia, so even three seconds of flipping through a notebook of the languages I study was pretty exciting to see on the big screen. Now, I assumed at first that the writing in Dr Maru’s notebook, would simply be gibberish, but one thing about it stuck with me: how well copied the letters were. Now, Cuneiform writing was designed for clay and stylus, and it is BRUTALLY hard to write cuneiform symbols with pen and paper. You’d think you could just draw a bunch of triangles, but nope; the system was so clearly designed to use nuances only possible with stylus and clay, they’re nigh on impossible to accurately reproduce using pen. And whoever wrote that piece of paper did a damn good job of it. So, I remained convinced the text might actually have some meaning, and when I got home I started tinkering with it.

First things first: though the notes were described in the film as “Sumerian and Ottoman”, they’re not Sumerian. Dr Maru’s notes are very clearly written in the quite distinctive script of Neo-Assyrian Cuneiform, which was used on official inscriptions of the Assyrian Empire from around 1000- 700 BC. Sumerian died out as a spoken language in around 2000 BC and though it continued to be used in writing long after that in the same way Latin was in Europe, it was probably never written in the formal Assyrian script.

I’m going to safely assume the man who mistakenly called the page “Sumerian and Ottoman” got it wrong, but the fact that Diana doesn’t correct this, despite her vastly superior knowledge of ancient languages is interesting. Consider this though: historians estimate the destruction of the site of Hissarlik, which is thought MIGHT be the inspiration for the Troy legends to around 1300 BC, around the time of the Bronze Age collapse and dawn of the Greek Dark Ages. If we take this as the end of the Greek Mythic age and the hiding of Themiscyra in the DC Universe, Diana would only have been able to study Cuneiform scripts written before this period so she would know only Old Babylonian Cursive, or possibly even only Old Babylonian Lapidary. Neo-Assyrian script would be just legible with effort, but difficult for her to read.

Now, the way cuneiform works is that any one cuneiform symbol can represent one or more alphabetic sounds, OR syllables, OR entire words. Most stand for a number of those things, but some represent only one. The symbols that represent entire words are called Logograms, and they remained largely consistent through all the changes of the cuneiform writing system. If Dr Maru’s notes were primarily written in Logograms (which they turned out to be), it would make sense for Diana to still be able to read them despite the considerable changes between Old Babylonian Lapidary and Neo-Assyrian script, and also that she wouldn’t have to know Assyrian-era Akkadian to understand the logographic signs (because they represent whole words at once rather than spell them out alphabetically, they can be understood by speakers of multiple languages who know the signs).

So having sorted all that out, I began to translate. Virtually all the symbols were logograms standing for words like mountain, woman, king, builder etc, but a limited few stood for single syllables like “ru” or “ti”. This made no sense, because the signs used were consistent enough with the actual context in the film to make some sense and logically repetitive. Whoever wrote this knew what they were doing. Why intersperse them with random letters? I finally realised: Dr Maru is a chemist. The way her code works is that she uses mostly logograms, but uses signs for syllables when those syllables are our modern symbols for chemical elements. Every sign where a syllable-only translation was my only option, that syllable matched up with the abbreviation for a chemical element in the periodic table.

So, working with the assumption that Dr Poison’s code technique is using Logograms to represent whole words, and the symbols for sole syllables like ka, ga, la etc in their standard transcriptions from cuneiform to represent chemical elements, here it is at last, the first page of Dr Maru’s notebook:

*This sign can mean “tree, wood” or, just stand for the sound “s”. So, i was left with a choice between carbon and sulfur, and settled on the compound

***This sign was VERY hard to identify, but i finally settled on the Old Babylonian Lapidary sign for “uuh”. Uuh also happens to be the chemical symbol for Ununhexium or Livermorium, a rare earth element not identified until the year 2000. This is strange, because this sign is CLEARLY Lapidary, while all the others are in the Neo-Assyrian script. So my conclusion is that Dr Poison isolated Uunhexium 92 years ahead of the game, it’s her big secret, and decided it needed a unique Logogram of its own, for which she adopted the sign for Uuh.

I answered a similar question before, and I made a Google document about this. But I’ll post it here (because I get this question a lot) with some extra things. :)

Well, first of all I don’t recommend you to learn “por and para” as “to and for” because this is not always correct, and you might get even more confused. The truth is that these prepositions don’t have an exact translation in English or any other language, so the only thing you can do is to know the uses and differences between them.

This is how I recommend you to learn them:

POR: reason, cause, method, way, duration
PARA: purpose, goal

I think para is easier to understand. Para always refers to a purpose, a goal or an effect. So if you’re not sure which one to use, ask yourself “Does the next phrase after para talk about a purpose or goal? If yes, use it. If not, 80% of the times is por. (I say “80%” because this is not an official rule. This is just something I thought about to help you choose the right preposition).

Now let’s see some examples to make this clearer:

por vs. para

  • ¿Por qué? - Why? What is the reason?
  • ¿Para qué? - What for? What is the purpose?

  • Lo hice por ti. - I did it because of you. (You were the reason)
  • Lo hice para ti. - I did it for you. (You were the purpose)

  • Trabajo por mi madre. - I work because of my mother. (She got me a job / she is the reason I got a job).
  • Trabajo para mi madre. - I work for my mother. (I work in her business / I’m her employee).

I don’t think we’ve discussed the fact that “Sprung” by T-Pain is about him reaching the realisation that he’s in an emotionally abusive relationship and he’s struggling to find a way to escape her. Deadass read the lyrics without singing them. I never understood until i went through the same thing. Like in the first verse he’s literally saying that she’s cut off all ties he had with his friends and any other woman she deemed could take him away even though she isn’t really in love with him. “I’m leaving quickly before she comes and tries to get me” alone is a terrifying and borderline triggering statement for anyone that’s had to escape a toxic relationship by means other than a face-to-face “it’s over.” And then in the second verse he talks about enjoying his newfound freedom. But then he goes back to her. KNOWING she doesn’t love him. KNOWING she’s abusive. KNOWING this whole thing is toxic.but he'a afraid of being lonely. Damn.

With S07E06 it’s easy to lose faith in the ship and so many people are reasonably upset but fret not! We still have plenty of points that are still as valid as they were prior to this episode.

Let’s go through them and calm down, alright? (For Jonerys shippers, people are allowed to ship whoever they want. Please don’t take this as an attack to your ship.)


Here are some summarised points just to refresh yourself on why this ship makes so much sense!

1) Sansa being the first Stark to reunite with Jon, forming a bond between the two. Think of all how refreshing it was to see Jon and Sansa smile on screen for the first time in forever, and how crucial it is for developing the plot!

2) The marriage symbolisms in the scenes they share. Sansa is cloaked in(what I assume to be) Jon’s cloak when she first arrives at Castle Black. She then cloaks him in the Stark fur she makes him(and he’s worn it ever since - even on the cliff at Dragonstone). They both have also shared a drink together, which just paints more wedding imagery. Not to mention, Jon has promised to protect her(sounds like something you’d vow to your partner).

3) How their scenes are shot in a particular way that may suggest a foreshadowing of them being endgame. Candle lit rooms, gentle snow falling and panned close ups of anytime Sansa’s grabbed Jon’s hand/arm.

4) Bickering like an old married couple while still empowering each other and Sansa reassuring the Jon that he’s good at ruling thus giving him the confidence he needs and reminding him that he’s a Stark to her. Wow I love a supportive dynamic. Nothing but mutual respect from my two children.

5) How well they work together and how they balance each other out. Jon of course being the military man, and Sansa being more politically savvy. Wow, Westeros is shook at this power couple.

6) The Ned and Cat parallels. I don’t even need to get into this one because there are plenty of sources out there that have pointed this out!

7) Littlefinger’s panned close up of him looking at Jon, then looking at Sansa as if he’s putting two and two together. This is incredibly significant considering the event that led up towards it could be seen as Littlefinger trying to see what would make Jon tick.

8) Angry Kitten Jon i.e. the strange way in which we see him react to different people bringing up Sansa. Choking Littlefinger, glaring and not being interested in discussing her with Tyrion, Sansa being the only reason he chooses to spare Theon. Davos’ close up right after his interaction with Theon. Very suspicious.

9) Them mentioning each other even when they’re miles apart. It’s an odd thing to note that Sansa keeps saying she wishes Jon were with her and that she hopes he comes back soon, meanwhile we also have Jon not being able to escape the mention of Sansa.

10) Jon taking notice of her new silk dress. Remember when he said he’d want to see Ygritte in a silk dress… so he could tear it off of her?

11) The forehead kiss and lingering gaze. They could have reshot this if it wasn’t meant to give off any other vibe that wasn’t perceived as brotherly. 10mill for that last episode, just saying.

12) The deleted scene. In which Jon tells Ghost to stay behind and protect Sansa.

13) Name parallels in both the Stark and Targaryen family tree. There was a Jaeherys Targaryen(some people think this may be Jon’s true name) who married an Alyssane(which is remarkably similar sounding to Alayne - Sansa’s adoptive name while she was in the Vale. But even if it turns out his true name isn’t Jaeherys, there’s still the Jonnel Stark that married a Sansa Stark. Now that’s on the nose.

14) Sansa giving his new life purpose. When we see Jon after he’s resurrected, he was ready to abandon his post as Lord Commander. Sansa walks in just in time, and she gives him a reason to fight for - the reclamation of Winterfell. Jon is truly reborn when he resurfaces from the crowd and we see in him something that’s been missing throughout the season - purpose. Then he goes and knocks the sh*t out of Ramsay.

15) The Prince Aemon/Joffrey bit. Ned had promised her someone brave, gentle and strong like Prince Aemon, noting that the match with Joffrey was a mistake. This happens in Season 1 and in the 1st installation of the ASOIAF books. In the 3rd installation of the books, Jon recalls a time where he and Robb would be training as kids, referring to himself as Prince Aemon the Dragonknight.While in the show in Season 7, we see Jon get insulted at the thought that Sansa might think of him to be like Joffrey - to which she says he’s as far as Joffrey as anyone she’s ever met.

16) Sansa’s hair. This is often overlooked but I remember reading that when Sophie Turner got her role, she asked the producers why she had to dye her hair. They told her that it’s actually important and crucial to the plot in some symbolic way. Let me just point out to you how most if not all the women in Jon’s life that he’s been involved with in some way or another has had red hair. While this seems like merely a coincidence that’s not worth bringing up, it could be tied to the validation he never received while growing up - of Catelyn’s(who had more of an auburn shade), and Sansa who took after her mother in never accepting Jon fully.

17) Janos Slynt. Sansa had wished for a hero to behead Janos Slynt(in the books). Jon ends up beheading Janos Slynt(in the books and the show). This has a romantic connotation since the hero always falls for the princess in the songs.

18) How their arcs almost reflect and mirror each other throughout the story. Both Jon and Sansa had romantic ideas of the world that are debunked by reality. Jon believing the Night’s Watch is a place of honour, and Sansa having her whole reality flipped. (My poor bbs </3)

19) How their arcs are at one point reversed. Sansa finds herself born into a position of power in the beginning, while Jon was a bastard. She then at finds herself being the bastard, while Jon is raised up as Lord Commander. This is good to take note of as they now have a better understanding of each other respectfully.

20) How them getting together would literally give them both what they wanted as children. Sansa’s always wanted her prince(and since Rhaegar annulled his marriage, Jon is a Targaryen Prince), and Jon’s always wanted a family and to live in Winterfell(+ deep down I’m sure he’s always craved the validation he was denied as a child growing up in Winterfell - he had hoped Ned would have the King legitimise him).

21) Poetic justice. How fitting would it be to have a situation that started out from a Targaryen/Stark wedding to end with a Targaryen/Stark wedding(this time done right)? Too perfect.

Those are some of the points I could think of straight off the top of my head, without taking into account the points that stand against D*enerys. I wanted to make sure this post was as positive without having to be perceived as me taking a go at D*ny. But, for the purpose of making this complete, let’s see some points against that ship(you can stop reading at this point if you only want positivity, but I’ll try to be as rational!)


1) The argument that J*nerys together makes the Song of Ice and Fire. This is a questionable point since there could be many interpretations of what’s truly Ice and Fire so I’ve never found this to be persuasive. You could argue that Jon is the Song of Ice and Fire himself, since it’s been revealed that he is both Stark and Targaryen.

2) D*enerys’ story arc serves as a foil to Jon’s. The reason why these characters seem alike is because they seem to mirror their positions throughout the story. However, if you take a closer look - D*ny has risen to power on account of her birthright and dragons, and she has actively sought out her power. Meanwhile, Jon finds himself in a position of power not because he wants it or has a birthright, but because people want him to assume that position(like being elected Lord Commander and then crowned King in the North).

3) The highlighted differences between these characters. In Mereen in Season 5, we see D*enerys sentence a man to death but have Daario Naharis carry out the sentence in front of her people as a deterrent. This has always been interesting to me because she cannot bring herself to look at him as he is being beheaded. It reminds me of the saying that he who passes the sentence should swing the sword. In the same season, we see Jon behead Janos Slynt himself.

4) The direction the show seems to have taken in relation to D*ny’s methods of ruling. Yes, I do agree that you’ve got to be more and more ruthless as you hold more and more power but it’s interesting to me how they’ve decided to shoot her scenes lately. There’s her insisting that she is Queen(Tywin: “Any man who must say “I am the King” is no true King.”). Then we are asked to empathise with the Lannister army for the first time in the series - with Ed Sheeran’s cameo meant to humanise the soldiers, and the Field of Fire 2.0 battle being shot from the Lannister army’s point of view - of devastation when going against a weapon of mass destruction(Drogon). To top it all off, she displays ignorant hypocrisy - saying she wants to break the wheel but only when she’s already on top, deflecting and ignoring any attempts Tyrion makes to talk some sense into her(we’ve seen Tyrion trying to deny that she’s being irrational while with Varys, and mentioning that she’s known to lose her temper), telling the army she’s not there to murder them and then giving them an ultimatum of bending the knee or dying, and burning the Tarlys alive. That last point is interestingly enough never brought up with Jon the same way the maesters don’t inform Samwell - which makes me feel like it’s been left out for now, for a reason. It’ll come back and change Jon’s perspective of her further.

5) Contrasting D*ny’s ruling methods with Sansa’s. While D*enerys’ loot train attack destroyed the food that would have fed the people, in the same episode we see Sansa trying to ensure that her people are fed. It’s there for a reason. For us to be able to extract and juxtaposition these two together and start questioning who would make a better Queen - a ‘foreign invader’ and conquerer who uses her weapons of mass destruction to pave a way for her on the Iron Throne, or the key to the North who has learnt how to play the Game of Thrones from arguably a few of the best players(Cersei, Margaery, and Littlefinger).

6) Cersei’s Prophecy of the Younger, more beautiful Queen. People seem to overlook this when it’s actually quite indicative of endgame. People are also quick to assume that D*ny is the Younger Queen that would talk all that [Cersei] holds dear. But how could she be? D*enerys had nothing to do with the deaths of Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen. Sansa did. Although unknowingly. Sansa was the one who informed Olenna Tyrell of how much of a monster Joffrey was - this set the chain of events that led to all three of Cersei’s children’s deaths. While Margaery could be perceived as the Younger Queen as well - she had no clue of Olenna’s involvement, and furthermore - Cersei still has Jaime while Margaery has already been reduced to ashes. So, if Jaime were to sometime in the future join forces under Sansa, she would fulfil the prophecy. I highly doubt that Jaime would be keen on joining D*enerys after what he’s seen her do with fire - I’m sure he was getting war flashbacks, poor guy.

**I’d like to mention and give fair warning that past this point, I’ve hinted at some things that happen in E06 so if you want to be absolutely spoiler free, please stop yourself from reading further. Or, you could go ahead and read only the bolded first line of each point!**


7) A marriage between D*enerys and Jon serves no greater purpose. We are reminded that D*ny is barren(please don’t make it seem like I’m picking at this being her fault and hating her for it, I’m trying to be rational), she cannot give Jon an heir(children he’s always wanted though I don’t doubt that if he truly loves someone he wouldn’t mind giving that dream up, so don’t see this as me trying to pit two women against each other for the sole reason of one not being able to have children). So the Targaryen lineage would truly die with D*enerys if this marriage is realised. Furthermore, the North will not accept a Southern ruler, and will always follow the Stark name. If Jon bends the knee, not only will he be giving up what his family fought for, but he would be betraying the wants of his people. If it is revealed that he is Targaryen and it’s made public knowledge, the marriage that makes the most sense to maintain peace is if he marries Sansa - a Stark, since Jon would be abdicating his position as King in the North by bending the knee and Sansa would still be Lady of Winterfell as she has the Stark name. On the topic of children though, for some reason in E06 we keep getting hints of possibly foreshadowings of Jon having his own children - specifically when Jorah doesn’t accept Longclaw, saying it would serve [Jon]’s children well - and then the scene cuts to Sansa and Arya.

8) Jon possibly playing D*enerys is not completely OOC. Take into account what he did with Ygritte, then take into account the number of reminders he’s had this season alone. Sansa reminds him to be smarter than Robb and Ned, and one of the other Northern Lords reminds him that Robb rode South once, married a foreigner and lost the North. What’s the one thing Kit Harrington says about Jon this season? That he’s beginning to listen to Sansa. You may argue that it’s character assassination to have Jon, who’s so pure, resort to manipulation but he could be putting his family and duty first - he needs to do what he can to secure her alliance. In fact I think it’s more insulting to his character if we were to assume that he would deliberately give up the North without first consulting his people, let alone Sansa. It’s way past time Jon plays a little bit of the game, it does his character justice to develop and learn from past mistakes at least that much. Of course, there’s also guilt following the events of E06 during the wight hunt. Let’s not forget D*ny’s prophecy that states that she will be betrayed thrice - once for blood, once for gold and once for love(this last one has yet to happen).

9) The Odysseus/Penelope/Calypso parallel. I saw this going around at some point and it’s been quite popular ever since! Unfortunately I’m not too sure who the original source is, but please feel free to tag them below! They made a link between the three greek characters with Jon, Sansa and D*ny respectfully. Calypso had detained Odysseus on her island for some time, while Penelope stayed behind and ruled on behalf of him in his absence. Odysseus and Calypso end up sleeping together but in the end, he comes back to his Penelope. It’s not to say that I like the idea of Sansa being ‘second’, but I’m choosing to interpret this in a way that guarantees Jon coming back to Sansa despite the boatbang.


That concludes this little list/semi-meta(?) I’ve never taken a go at these, in fact I’m pretty sure this is my second time making my own textpost. Again, the point of this was not to put one character against the other just so we can be satisfied with our ship. You are allowed to ship whoever you want to! I simply felt the need to bring these points up again because the night is dark and full of red-herrings.

It’s been years. Long, full years that have passed since the Winchesters took their last breaths. It was a frosty night, filled with blood, sweat and tears as Sam held his bigger brother’s hand just before his own world went black.

All he hoped for as his last wish was that wherever he was went, Dean would be waiting for him. It didn’t matter if it were heaven or hell, it just mattered to him if they were together because even in death he just couldn’t imagine being without Dean.

At this point in time, the Impala still stood where Dean had driven it last. It was untouched. Except for the bubbles of rust on her once pristine, shiny, black body and the long grass weaving its way inside the place that once used to be home.

It was still home.

Their souls tied to the car, like she was stitched into their very being. The only other constant in their lives except for each other. Things are simpler now, both of them existing between worlds. Made of smoke and stories. Most nights they just sit on the hood of the car, watching the stars in complete silence just like they did in life. It was weird the way they just needed each other to be okay.

Then one day, Sam watched a boy walk up to the car, his fingertips trailing over the roof. The same admiration and glee he often noticed in Dean’s eyes when he saw cars, sparkling in the eyes of someone that reminded Sam of who he used to be.

Before he knew it, Baby was hurtling down highways again, carrying two men that reminded Sam of his own life. Saving people, hunting things, the family business. Dean would often mess with the stereo, the soundtracks to their lives blaring through the speakers as the legos rattled. It reminded the new hunters of the history they were apart of and the history they were going to make.

Sprawled out in the backseat, Sam’s head on Dean’s lap as they listened to the young hunters in the front, who were completely oblivious to their presence.

“You know who’s car this was? It belong to Sam and Dean. The Winchesters. The goddamn Winchesters.”

“No way. No frikkin’ way. There’s no way they would have left this beauty.”

“I heard they died.”

Sam tilted his head upwards to look at Dean. There’s a smile on Dean’s face that made his heart warm.

They never die. Not really. At least not forever.

A/N: Aaaaaah, feels good to be back. As I’ve already said, I will try to upload an imagine everyday now that I don’t have anything related to school until late September -probably not going to happen, but hope for at least 3 imagines a week! Hope you enjoy this one!


Peter didn’t know why she acted that way -being an Avenger and an expert in martial arts, he would have expected her not to be shy, but she was the kind of girl who would blush if a person complimented her. He didn’t mind, though. He found the way she would act around everybody in school cute, although he wouldn’t admit it, hoping the crush he had on her would disappear.
He was, to say the least, surprised when he first saw her at the Stark Tower. She had tried to turn away when she saw him, but it was too late. Tony Stark had come behind her and there was no way she could escape now, so she had had to tell Peter, her classmate, that she was part of the Avengers. He hadn’t believed it at first -he sat next to her in 3 of his classes, and all he had heard her say was the answers to questions the teachers directly asked her. He couldn’t believe she was part of the team he was aspiring to be part of -she even called Tony Stark by his first name.
It had taken him a while to get used to it -silent during school, sassy during training. He found it funny -after all, he was clumsy and got tongue-tied all the time.
There were many things he wouldn’t have expected about her, but there was one that would top all the other; and that was the way she handled his bullies a Tuesday morning during school.

‘’Come on, Parker,’’ Flash said, ‘’aren’t you gonna do anything?’’
Peter decided not to answer, knowing it would only make it worse. He kept silent and looked at the ground, trying not to blow up and kick Flash in the face.
‘’What’s the matter with you, dude?’’ Flash asked. ‘’What if I do this?’’
Peter’s backpack was torn off his shoulder and thrown to the ground, and that was when he realized that he was in trouble -his stupid ass hadn’t thought about this and had put his suit at the top of his bag, hoping to get home and not have to open it before being alone.
Just as Flash was about to open his backpack, he heard a voice from behind the crowd looking at the bully and the bullied.
‘’What are you doing, asshole?’’
Peter’s head rose, not being able to believe what was going on. [Y/N] made her way through the crowd, an angry look upon her face as she got closer to Flash.
‘’You are asking what is the matter with him,’’ she said, ‘’but what is the matter with you?’’
Flash froze on the spot and [Y/N] took that as a chance to get Peter’s backpack and throw it at him without tearing her gaze off Flash.
‘’Do you think this makes you funny? That being a jackass will gain you popularity?’’
Flash quickly unfroze after hearing her insult him, raising his fist as if to prove he was strong.
‘’Do you want me to hit you?’’ Flash asked her.
‘’If you want to try’’ she told him in a sarcastic voice.
He tried throwing a punch at her, this resulting in her quickly grabbing his arm and putting it behind his back, kicking him so that he was kneeling on the floor. She crouched next to him and whispered softly, but loud enough so that the whole crowd would hear.
‘’And now, will you apologize to my friend Peter, or do I have to hit you on the front?’’
Flash tried to get his arm out of her grip with no result, and ended up giving up, looking at Peter with gritted teeth.
‘’I’m sorry, Parker.’’
Peter nodded softly, not being able to say anything else as he was still impressed from what his colleague had done.
When the crowd finally dispersed, [Y/N] looked at him and shook her hands, as if to show she had finished everything she had to do.
‘’Ice-cream?’’ she asked Peter.
Peter nodded once again, no words coming out of his mouth yet. It was then when he realized the cold, hard truth -this was no crush, and he would have to do something about this strong feeling soon.

Because Lup probably lost her memory in that cave as she was hiding the gauntlet, probably right afterwards. With no idea how she got there, why she was there, and how to get out. She probably sat down and waited. Maybe someone would be by to help. And then she curled up there and eventually…died. With no memory of anything, not her life or her brother or her mission or her lover.

And then she is in lich form, but no one remembers her. How useful is a best day ever when the one who gave it to you can’t remember. Can’t be there to provide you with that emotion. And Barry? She doesn’t know he liched out. She probably thinks he forgets too. So she ties herself to these memories, this clowny umbrastaff, and waits for someone to come. She can possess someone, maybe she has before or maybe she can figure out how. And find a way to fucking save herself.

So she waits and watches her body turn to bone and no one comes. Does anyone even know about this place? What if this is it? She’s getting weaker and weaker, her hope can only burn for so long. And then there’s people. Suddenly. And she’s too weak to do anything about it. She’s ready to let herself fade.

There’s a hand in her pockets, rummaging around and she wants to laugh. She has nothing here. Nothing or anyone. And now they’re detecting magic. And it’s all useless and annoying and they’ll succumb to the gauntlet and everything she’s done will be for nothing.

Someone tries to take her staff and she refuses. This is all she is, all she has left. And she won’t let that go, not until the very end. The person is shot across the room with a familiar groan and then another hand wraps around the staff. And she looks up. She knows this hand, this power. Joy flows through her. So many emotions. Relief. Pain. Love. Its Taako. Taako Taako.

He pulls harder, and her magic, her love, swirls around him. She throws her entire self into the staff as it slips from her and her body disintegrates behind her. Taako doesn’t know it’s her, he doesn’t care. But he’s still her heart and deep down, she’s still his. So she’ll give everything to be by his side and keep him safe. And eventually, she’ll get to the bottom of this and eventually, she’ll find a way to get back to her body, and eventually, she will fulfill her promise. Lup will be back soon.

so as 99.9% of you know, taylor has blacked out all of her social media accounts, as well as her website. it just so happens that the solar eclipse is monday, and it is going to be a ‘blackout.’ an eclipse can symbolize ‘the end of time’ for some (this could be totally unrelated but i think her comments have to do with a new song). taylor tends to think very in depth with how to be sneaky/extra when announcing new music. my thoughts are that she is going to announce something tomorrow, with a single coming out friday, with the album or single being related to time/space. in her post to haim her caption was:

a end of time could also symbolize the end of the 1989 era/eras before. maybe she wants to start fresh with the new era/‘time’. on her post to lorde, she said “bop for the ages” which sounds like it has to do with the new era/time theory.

speaking of the eclipse/space/end of time:

last december, taylor sent this to Erik Finman sending 1989 to space. and it just so happened that a day before all of these blackouts occurred, Erik tweeted this article, titling the tweet “We are going to space with some help from Taylor Swift!”:

and then for the met gala (which she co-chaired) the theme was Fashion in the Age of Technology, and this was her outfit:

her outfit was very “galactic” and reminded me of something of the future or space…a new time. her outfits from her bleachella phase were very different from anything she had ever worn before. many of them were dark, edgy, and sparkly and many of her outfits worn during this time looked very futuristic or space-like. we saw a “darker” side of her, you could say. like now her accounts are all dark/gone.

Super Saturday Night was very star themed according to what I have seen. (This could be totally unrelated but it ties into the space theme in a way)

i smiled as i heard the door chime ring. the usual nerdy boy who usually sported science puns on his clothing walked in. his friend was quick behind him trying to speak quietly but it obviously wasn’t working out for him.

“peter this is amazing, we have to tell everyone” the friend of the brown hair’d boy attempted to whisper but it was loud enough for me to hear. his hands were flailing in the air excitedly while peter just looked annoyed.

“okay the teacher was making no sense tod-” peters friend began rambling on and on about something but my eyes were focused on him, the way his eyes scanned through the text, the way his smile starts at the far corners of his mouth.

i was starring from the counter pretending to be at the cash register but no one was paying. someone bumped my hip, i looked up to see my co-worker olivia nod her head toward the table. i blushed while grabbing a note pad and a pen.

He’s pissed off.

He’s bleeding from the huge gash on his forehead, his bike is in pieces of scrap metal on the side of River road and he’s fairly certain he’s missed his date with Tiffany… Taylor? No, it was definitely Tiffany. So yeah, he’s pissed.

Jughead Jones tucks his scratched up hands deep into the pocket of his leather jacket and pulls out a cigarette, lighting it against the wind, he inhales the familiar taste of tobacco and burnt paper and his shoulders finally slump in exhaustion.

This day sucks. It officially sucks, it’s sucked from the minute he set foot on the construction site to the time he walked into his second home, The Snake Sack Bar, he was tired, he was cranky and fuck if he wasn’t starving.

The blare of a truck horn shakes him out of his pity party, his redheaded best friend sticks his head out of the drivers seat window and grins

“Archie Andrews to the rescue! I’m here to save the damsel in distress.” He pulls to a stop beside Jughead as the dark haired man looks less than amused.

Archie’s eyes turn serious as he looks his friend over
“Seriously man, are you okay?”

Jughead shakes off his concern, he never quite got used to anyone caring about his wellbeing

“I’m fine, it’s my bike you should be worrying about. Look at her, she’s in pieces.” His hands are flailing frantically and Archie snorts

“Pieces doesn’t cover it. I don’t think even your uncle Harley can fix this buddy.” The all American boy drops a hand to Jugheads shoulder and begins to help him pick up all the pieces, throwing them into the back of his pickup.

“Mind telling me how this happened.” Archie treads carefully.

A low growl escapes Jugheads mouth,
“Jason Blossom and his goonies ran me off the road, probably has something to do with Jason taking over his dads construction company, probably doesn’t like that I’m working for Andrews Construction, or maybe they have something against the Serpents.” Jughead shifts in his jacket, the emblem displayed proudly on the back.

Archie snorts bitterly, a dangerous look flashing in his eyes
“Were 25 now, I figured the days of high school competition were behind us, he’ll never get over the fact that I stole quarterback away from him.”

Jughead shuddered at the mention of high school, that had not been a good time in his life and he very rarely revisits that place in his brain. He’s so much different now, ladies love him, he takes a new girl home every night. Gone is the gangly adolescent boy who hid behind bleachers, replaced by a filled out , muscular bad boy that drives all the girls who ignored him in high school mad. Damnit he could be showing that cheerleader Tiffany… Taylor, shit what was her name? whatever, he could be showing her the time of her life.

“I know a mechanic a town over, works real good with bikes. The shops open, I can take you there now.”

This is why Archie Andrews is his best friend, no matter what, they are always there for each other, it’s the way it’s been since they were four years old. Jugheads pressing some fancy satin scarf against the gash on his forehead as Archie mumbles something about Infection. They pull up to Pops Mechanic Shop and Jughead hops from the truck, he’s a bit woozier than he expected, his knees wobbly. Archie shoots him yet again, another concerned glance.

“I’m good dude, now where’s this mechanic you mentioned, I wanna talk to him about..”

He’s cut off abruptly by a distinctly feminine voice

“Archie Andrews, you better not have blown out your breaks again! I just fixed this truck last week.”

Jughead turns quickly to the voice behind him and nearly passes out. (It’s most definitely because of lack of blood, not the sexy creature before him.)

Standing In front of him is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, long tan legs are wrapped up in short denim overalls, a dirty, red rag is hanging from one of her pockets, her feet are tucked into heavy work boots. Jughead lets his eyes trail over her body all the way up to her toned,bronze arms, she’s covered in motor oil and dirt but it only makes that much sexier. her silky blonde hair is tied up in a messy bun, strands sticking to her sweaty forehead, her eyes are the color of freshly cut grass and her lips are so perfect it should be illegal.

“Nope not me this time Betty, check the back of the truck.”

As soon as she moves to the back her eyes widen

“Woah, holy… poor baby, what happened here?” For the first time since the conversation started Betty’s eyes are on his, ocean blue meeting meadow green, they linger on his before flickering to the steadily bleeding cut on his forehead

“It’s my bike.. well it was my bike. I kind of.. got into an accident.” He answers dumbly, she can obviously see that he was in accident. Dumbass.

“That needs stitches.”

She speaks so suddenly it takes Jughead by surprise

“What?”

“The cut on your head, it needs stitches, you ripped it clean open. I can fix your bike, gonna take a while but I can get her running.”

Jugheads mind races to catch up with her

“You can?”

“Sure, shouldn’t be too hard. I’ve got some paperwork for you to fill out in the office, Arch I made cookies, there might still be some in the garage if the guys haven’t snatched them all up.”
A flash of red races to the garage, leaving Jughead to follow Betty.

The office is run down but usable,

“Do you have insurance?” Betty asks, her head buried in a filing cabinet, Jughead snorts causing her to look up a hesitant smile on her face.

“No.” the raven haired boy clarifies “no insurance.”

Betty nods, eyes understanding as she hands him a clipboard

“My prices are good, I won’t overcharge you, I can promise you I’m the only one who’s gonna be able to work on that bike.”

Jughead signs the paperwork quickly handing it back and sticking his hand out

“I’m Jughead Jones.”

The blonde chews on her lip for a Monet before taking his hand

“I’m Betty Cooper and I know who you are Mr.Jones” she grins wickedly and he smirks

“Oh really?”

He’s moving closer now, breathing in her air as she steps forward, face dangerously close to his own

“Mhmm, and that why I can say..” she trails off suggestively before taking a huge step back and shaking her shoulders

“I’m only interested in doing business with you, nothing more, nothing less. Your reputation precedes you Mr.Jones. I can’t count the amount of Husbands who come in here and try to sell their wives cars after you’ve broken their marriage up.” She giggled uncharacteristically before shoving his papers into the desk drawer

“So thank you but no Thankyou.” Just as she’s about to leave the room Jughead grips her wrist

“You don’t know me.” He speaks desperately, something about this woman makes him want to get on his knees and beg.

With sad eyes Betty looks down at his fingers holding her wrist.

“No.. but I know your kind.”

He wants to protest but Archie enters the room

“All set guys? Hey Betty, Veronica wanted me to tell you we’re coming over tonight, we’ve got a dinner party tomorrow and she has no clue what to wear.”

“I’ll be home.” The female mechanic smiles lazily.

All three of the adults head outside

“Well arch, I’ll see you tonight and Mr.Jones….”

“Tomorrow. I’ll be back tomorrow.” His eyes drill into hers and for a moment something flashes that he can’t quite catch but she’s quickly turning her back to both boys and walking back to work

“Whatever you say jones, see ya around.”

Archie looks back and forth between his two friends

“Everything okay? Hey if we speed I’m sure we can make it for your date with Tamara.”

Ahh Tamara, that was her name. Jughead stares out the passenger window and watches as Betty gets underneath a car, a wrench clenched in her fist.

“Nah, forget about Tamara. Hey you mind taking me to the ER, apparently I need stitches.”
