and the promise of only one more season

‘’You look.. very tired.’’

Yeah.. I tried drawing more than one panel.. Ha :’D

For a lil context: He returned from war, only to get to know his girlfriend (which he loves like crazy) (an OC from the lovely inokoo) nearly died in a battle with an old enemy of theirs (and is still not awake). He- in a fit of rage- tracks the thing down and (in said rage) awakes an old god, a vulcano erupts and covers the city in ashes, leaving them trapped in the house.

(Also credit to inokoo for doing this awesome RP with me! It’s so fun >v<)

This or That - forthenexttenminutesago asked SMASH or glee?

Sometimes I listen to “Take Me to Church” by Hozier and I think  about Andy and Abbie from Sleepy Hollow and how they could have been a more interesting story arc than anything that happened in Season two. Like you have a man who loved a woman so much that he sold his soul in hopes of protecting her from a destiny that she has no choice but to fulfill (and who knows what else he was promised) only to be transformed into a monster without free will but even then she is his weakness and the one thing that he can still love and ties him to his humanity. Like how the fuck do you have a story arc like their’s and not run with it. I need this story told in some form now. Like I need someone to take this story line and run with it because even if I know it will never happen on Sleepy Hollow with Andy and Abbie (is Nicole even on the damn show anymore at this point since we have yet to hear shit about Abbie’s story arc?) I need it to play out somewhere. Hell maybe I’ll do it.

I'm afraid if it's Ian or kat last season that they might not go with Bamon... One season isn't enough I think to develop a good relationship and I would want to see more of them..

You really think that if Bamon became romantic in s7, they’d really have only had one season of development? lol

Bamon have a deeper and more solid foundation right now than DE did when they forced that issue with the sire bond (Remember that? They went from SE promising each other forever with wedding imagery to DE having sex in like 3 episodes, tops. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that they ended DE with wedding imagery and promises of forever as well. Like after all this time, that still doesn’t register as a red flag for people?).

They absolutely could make Bamon romantic over the course of the season and still have it be a satisfying story to all but the folks who don’t want Bamon to happen in the first place, or who want to pretend that Bamon’s relationship is coming out of nowhere rather than the 6 season epic progression from enemies to reluctant allies to friends to trusted bffs to romance that it actually would be.

I personally think it’s more likely that we’ll get s8 and possibly more, but either way: It’s a good time to be a Bamon fan.

The Miracle of Baman Piderman

In case you haven’t heard of it, Alex and Lindsay Small-Butera’s wonderful creation, Baman Piderman, has recently begun its third season on Youtube. While I write this only one new episode is available. However, the success of Baman Piderman’s Kickstarter campaign (over the $50,000 goal in two days) means that viewers are eagerly awaiting the conclusion of the series. In the description of the promotional video for the fundraiser, the creators promised five more episodes to conclude the story of Baman and his bestest fwend Piderman, along with a host of other characters. Pumkin, a fan favorite, plays guitar in a band with Tuba(a sentient tuba) and Squib, a mass of green, physics-defying tentacles.

Why’s it so good? Baman Piderman is about friendship, plain and simple. One day, Baman comes over to Piderman’s house and the adventure begins. The characters are endearing and original, the plot simple and free. One detractor(for the first season or so) is the squiggly animation, which shivers constantly. That minor hiccup, though, can be ignored for the fact that the first episode is only 34 seconds long, and episodes are rarely over five minutes.

It’s a must-watch. Watch da marathon.

Fox Officially Revives THE X-FILES

Fox has officially announced the the return of The X-Files as a six-part event series, scheduled to begin production this summer. The last time we saw Agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) they were chasing down stolen organs in the commendably character driven, but overall disappointing second X-Files movie in 2008. That film failed to answer many of the questions left when the series ended back in 2002, but that’s something this revival promises to address. Here are the quotes from the press release.

“I think of it as a 13-year commercial break,” said series creator Chris Carter. “The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories.” “We had the privilege of working with Chris on all nine seasons of The X-Files – one of the most rewarding creative experiences of our careers – and we couldn’t be more excited to explore that incredible world with him again,” added Dana Walden and Gary Newman, Chairmen and CEOs of Fox Television Group. “The X-Files was not only a seminal show for both the studio and the network, it was a worldwide phenomenon that shaped pop culture – yet remained a true gem for the legions of fans who embraced it from the beginning. Few shows on television have drawn such dedicated fans as The X-Files, and we’re ecstatic to give them the next thrilling chapter of Mulder and Scully they’ve been waiting for.”

The X-Files originally ran for nine, from 1993-2002, and would have to be considered one of the most popular TV shows of all time. No word yet on when these six new episodes will air
