TalesFromTheFrontDesk: How dare you put me in the room type that I booked!
A guest who stays here semi regularly came to check in. We go through the process and I give him his keys, he then says, “This better not be a handicap room!” It is. When I tell him so he throws the keys back at me and demands a different room. We’re almost sold out and we’re completely sold out for the next few days so I don’t have a room to move him into. He proceeds to lecture me about how this is unacceptable and how dare we do this to him. I’m looking at the reservation it was booked online and it was booked as an accessible room. I tell him that he booked it that way but he says he absolutely did not. He did. He also proceeds to tell me that he has stayed at least 70 nights here (apparently 70 actually means 20) and that he’ll just stay somewhere else from here on out. Fine by me, sir.
tldr: Man books handicap room, gets mad when he is put in said room.
