Perfect - Kwon Soonyoung One Shot
Note - Hey hey! I got inspired by Ed Sheeran’s song “Perfect”. I know people wrote stories from this song, I just needed to let some fluff out. Enjoy~
Soonyoung POV // No Warnings // Fluff // Quite Short // Female Reader
The stars were shining bright, the light wind of autumn was blowing strong enough to mess her hair slightly, and our giggles were the only melody that could be heard around us.
It was a perfect night for another date I thought, that’s why I decided to give her a call to spend some time together again. We ate waffles with hot chocolate on it, her favorite and we headed towards a small park.
Later that night, like the kids we were, we took off our shoes and played around in the grass of the park. While listening to some music, we giggled even more and our eyes were locked together. I took her hand slowly, and intertwined our fingers together. Somehow, I felt like everything stopped around us, except the beating of our hearts, strong against our chests.
After staring at each for a moment, I wrapped my arms around her waist and began to move our bodies in rhythm to the slow song playing on her phone. “It’s my favorite song”, she said. “I know”, I thought “I know you way too well”. But i just smiled at her.
“I’m sorry I look a mess tonight.” she blurted out, looking away, cheeks getting a tint of red.
When she said she looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath, but she heard it : “Darling, you look perfect tonight.”
At this point, our feet weren’t dancing like they used to a few minutes go. She was staring at me, probably processing what I had just said.
I moved my head slowly towards her, our breaths were mixing together. I thought our heart beats couldn’t go any faster but, god, I was wrong. When we kissed, I felt everything leave my body. It was relaxing, magical, simple and sweet. Her arms went up to my neck, and I smiled in the kiss. How could I not? I had finally met an angel in person and she looked perfect that night. We slowly parted from the kiss, and we looked at each other again for a while.
Who knew those sparkles in her eyes could shine even brighter after the kiss. I couldn’t stop myself from staring at them. It was the only thing I wanted to see at the moment. Her shy smile appeared on her perfect face and she leaned her head against my chest. We were dancing in the dark, with her between my arms, barefoot on the grass, and I wasn’t wishing for anything more.
