and so realistic

anonymous asked:

the picture of shiro's back makes me very uncomfortable because the back is so realistic and then it just suddenly becomes lineart

haha it DOES look a bit weird when its like that but thats because I always focus on completing one section at a time XD

anonymous asked:

Is Virion coded as white?

Short Answer: No/ probably not

Longer Answer: First of all, it’s a Japanese-manufactured game, any kind of what you might consider ‘default’ coding, is going to be to Japanese.

I love it for mostly the same reasons like you do. It felt so realistic and actually made you think. Like perhaps if we talk more, be more open minded instead of believing the bad things you hear. You find out for yourself, learn to accept the Beauty that is individuality and always fight the demons that lies inside you to better yourself!

Chapter 13 didn't disappoint, though it was beyond agitating to read. Yuuri's frustration with himself transcended empathy for me and made me triple as frustrated with myself in return. My usual response to any kind of stress is to clam up and belittle myself like 'oh if I was a normal person this would be easy to handle' so I often deal with things 'unconventionally' or put them off until it's too late. I like how there's no magical fix it for Yuuri's anxiety, and you've wrote so realistically!

Thank you! I also often put things off for unreasonably long amounts of time even though I know realistically it would be better and easier to do it now and so even though Yuuri frustrates me for not wanting to just say I would also probably do something similar!

What is skam?

Skam is a Norwegian tv series about this group of teenagers/young adults and their lifes but it’s so realistic!!! and funny! it’s so well made and I’m obsessed :~)

if you haven’t seen it, go watch it! I have the links to see it if you want because it’s not in any website to watch… it’s honestly soooo good, I’m not kidding. I love it 💕💕💕

white supremacists have to be the most delusional people on earth, and i’m on tumblr where SJWs thrive and flourish…

i just read a thread on stormfront (because i like getting mad, and seeing what they have to say about gypsies lol let a bitch live) saying chinese civilization used to be white european, and all the things that china has created was actually white. what? isn’t that crazy?

they thought buddha was white……..

they say vedism and hinduism are both white religions :^\

like okay i’m very much so a realist, and i am fully aware that vedic religions, the vedanta, hinduism and buddhism are “”aryan”” religions but it’s not set in stone whether aryans, specifically indo-aryans were “”””””white”””””, or if they existed at all

they are fruitful theories stating that indo-aryans were actually quite dark, there are theories presenting the idea that indo-aryans were indigenous to india and all other indo-europeans came from there

when theories are cloudy, especially over such a long time as this, you can’t just choose one of many and treat it like gospel, it’s embarrassing, and potentially completely wrong.

i feel like they just want them to be white because it fits their narrative of you know…white supremacy

I find it endlessly fascinating that Bruce Wayne, known in DC as the crabbiest, grumpiest, darkest character is (when written well) a very open and sympathetic person who mentors and parents a large number of children. Meanwhile, Clark Kent, the eternal boy scout who is cheery and kind and wonderful has a known history of being uncomfortable and even rude children who look to him as a mentor. I love that dichotomy and, more importantly, I love how such paradoxes actually really suit their characters.

Because the best way to Bruce Wayne is damaged, every single action he has taken is a result of grief and guilt and an inability to move past his tragedy. He acknowledges he is not normal, that he can’t think or feel in a normal, healthy capacity so he uses his trauma to help himself heal and maybe even better his city while he’s at it. But likewise, he understands sorrow and tragedy in others and is very empathetic to the plights of children in similar situations. He is dark and not very good with emotion but he does understand what grief can do to a person and when he sees children suffering, his big heart compels him to help out in anyway he can. He’s not always the best at it and a lot of times he becomes nervous over how attached he becomes to his children/partners and tries to distance himself. But that doesn’t change the fact that his initial reaction to sadness is to try and prevent them from going through what he did because he understands and is honestly upset by their plight.

Clark, on the other hand, had a picturesque Norman Rockwell childhood just with the occasional freak-outs about his ancestry and troubles with his powers. But having grown up in such an idyllic place where he didn’t have to suffer too much and had very open and accepting parents, he becomes a bit sheltered. Ma and Pa (rightfully so) tell Clark that his life is his own and he is entitled to his own happiness. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but I’ve seen people that go through their whole lives without conflict who react poorly when faced with change they were not prepared for. Superman is, of course, kind and generous and loving because he’s a genuinely good person and 9/10 his kindness doesn’t affect him and how he views his life. So when Kon comes along and even people talk about discovering Captain Marvel’s civilian identity, Clark responds negatively or at least, not in the open manner we would expect.

Because Clark is still caught up with his own life and his own desires that the thought of changing that up for these children just doesn’t occur to him. You can call it selfishness, cause it is, but it’s also human nature which is fascinating coming from an alien immigrant. Plus I imagine Clark has some rather traditional values having grown up in rural Kansas, he could barely handling finding out he was an alien much less properly deal with a sassy teenage clone of himself via Lex Luthor and a magic boy who can transform into an adult. I can see Clark being, well, a bit freaked out by all that. But this is a pattern we see over and over again with Clark dealing with children. He fares much better when a) he chose to have this child enter his life and isn’t feeling like he’s being forced and b) the child was younger and acquired through more normal means.

Now this isn’t a criticism on Clark, in fact, while I may curse about his treatment of Superboy and cry over the fact that he didn’t adopt Billy straight away, I love this complexity. I don’t like it when my characters are perfect, when they always do the right the thing and behave in a blameless matter all the time. It’s boring frankly. But I like seeing consistent character traits, good or bad that make sense when it comes to their behavior and actions. Like, I can easily see why the Dark Knight is a good father figure while the Man of Steel, the golden boy, is awkward and unhappy with these children in his life. Of course we see that Bruce fucks up with his kids as much as he helps them and Clark gets over his pettiness and learns to be a better mentor but we still have these initial reactions which say a lot about their feelings. DC is capable of building these interesting, complex characters and they never utilize them. They think making everything dark and grim makes things more interesting but really, if they just extrapolate the wealth of development and character they’ve already built, they could satisfy at least this reader a lot more.

(#21 off the Super Sappy Prompts list: “I’m better when I’m with you.”)

It’s an experiment based on a hypothesis based on a coincidence. They’re sharing a room on a roadie, and Nursey has been stuck in a dry spell for a week and a half now. The words just haven’t been coming the way he wants them to, and he’s starting to feel dried out, like all the creative juices have been wrung out of him by school stress and lack of sleep. Maybe it’ll never come back. Maybe he’s just done. All washed up by the tender age of twenty.

He’s not even trying to write as he watches Dex from across the room, tracking his fidgets and expressions as he sits hunched over his laptop frowning at the screen. It’s been a while since he and Dex have been in the same room for an extended period of time – a fortnight, about. Dex has been on a project, and Nursey started isolating himself about when the drought hit. But it was nice to sit with him on the bus today, and it’s nice to dump his bag near the bed and just relax, hands behind his head, and drink in his presence. It feels like something he’s been missing for far too long.

Nursey’s not sure what it is that makes the words start coming back, but it’s like a cloudburst on a hot day – a few lines, scattered drops against a parched sidewalk, then all at once he’s drowning.

He writes for four hours that night. His poems are full of microchips and anger, all about the gray morality of man against the rigidity of binary code, and by one a.m., when he should really be getting his beauty rest for tomorrow’s game, he’s starting to formulate a theory.

The theory is that maybe being in Dex’s proximity jumpstarts his creativity. In a phrase, Dex inspires him.

So Nursey resolves to test it.

I have been commissioned by someone to draw a weekly BBRae comic. This is a teaser picture. Look for it next week! I hope you like it Manga. There’s more to come.

Anthony Kiedis and Flea by Andy Warhol, 1985

I know people are really disappointed with the apparent Malec sex scene. And rightfully so. If they are willing to show Jace in that position and a huge portion of it with the girl and him talking about the runes and then just show Malec walking off an that’s it? So rightly pissed.

However, saying that I’m so happy that Malec once again communicated. I’m so happy that we got to see this vulnerable side of Magnus that is hidden away so often, where he was so happy to receive this gift from Alec. Later when their casually making out, it’s so easy and it’s so casual, it’s so realistic. Everything about Malec is realistic in this scene, it makes you relate to them so much. These two boys, just sitting and kissing on the sofa, nothing else but just being them. And the scene prior to the “sex” scene. I’ll take that communication over an actual sex scene any day.

I’ll take Magnus opening up about his fears of losing Alec, about getting too close and then Alec walking away. I’ll take Magnus opening about going too fast and making Alec realise that even though he’s centuries old he is just as vulnerable and just as scared. Alec realising this, Alec realising that it’s not only his feelings that should be taken into consideration but Magnus’ as well. And the way he reassured him, that smile on his face that just screamed “you are ridiculous if you think I’m ever letting go of you”, it just made everything better. You could see Magnus’ worries slowly fade away as he was led away.

So yea, I’m disappointed about the “sex” scene, not because we didn’t get to see it but because we saw a m/f one just at the start and then the lgbtqa ship was put on the back burner. But you know what, I’ll take Magnus Bane and Alec Lightwood communicating like a real life relationship where so many people can relate to, over a sex scene anyday. anyday.
