Have you read that interview with Kodaka (you can find it on the official twitter)? A whole question is dedicated to Ouma!

I did read the interview earlier today! It was a pretty fun read, and Kodaka definitely seems to be enjoying the reactions to ndrv3 overall. If anyone’s worried that criticism of the game has him down, I wouldn’t worry too much, because he definitely expected this kind of reaction and even pretty much says he prefers having people getting angry or upset over the game, since certainly he doesn’t want people to just be enthusiastic and love it 100% all the time.

The Ouma question was very fun! I can give it a rough translation, if anyone’s interested (and I haven’t checked the tags yet so I apologize if anyone already translated it before me!):

Interviewer: So, while I was playing the game myself, I must say that Ouma Kokichi left quite an impression on me.

Kodaka: Throughout the series thus far, I’ve never actually had a character who was genuinely having fun in the class trials. I mean, Komaeda from Super Danganronpa 2 is a little bit like that, but his enjoyment is still different. I decided to think up a character who had fun playing each school trial like a game, and who is a trickster-type character in the truest sense of the word—and that’s Ouma. And since the main theme [of ndrv3] this time around is “lies,” I made sure to make it so that you have to constantly wonder how much of what he says is true and how much are lies.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Kodaka was just smirking through the whole interview. Still, it’s good to have confirmation that trickster/prankster-like imagery with Ouma is a must, and that he definitely made Ouma’s true intentions a mystery to be solved. After all, you don’t propose a mystery without presenting clues, and the clues are all there (there’s a lot in the rest of the interview about presenting mysteries, too).

If anyone else wants to read the interview, it’s here, but fair warning that it’s all in Japanese!

Aw man I absolutely hate to beg but I’ve got less than no money right now and it makes me feel so down and stressed out .__.

Please consider purchasing something from my shop and/or reblogging this so others can have a look. I’ve been working incredibly hard these months to try and make enough for my rent and bills, but I’ve gotten hit with 3 big bills this month and now I owe my flatmate money and it’s been difficult. I usually try to keep a positive attitude but all this has been getting to me, and it’s harder to keep my mood and productivity going. Thank you all for helping <3

Someone please take me to the alternate universe where the character of Anakin Skywalker is actually valued and not just viewed as ‘that part people fast-forward through to get to Darth Vader’.

Greenflame rant... Idk just stuff

The whole age with Lloyd thing is really… Complicated.

People have asked Tommy Andreasen (co-creator of Ninjago) about Lloyd’s age, and he said that Lloyd is a minor.

Here is the thing though: They are always going to say all the Ninja are minors, because guess what? LEGO is primarily a kids toy. So they want kids to feel like they could be the characters on the screen, which means that they can never be “adults”.

Buuutt almost anyone who has watched the show would say that calling the Ninja minors is a bit of a stretch, given that not only have they had multiple jobs (one being teachers which is a 5 year education btw), but also from how the ninja are different from how they first were in the pilot episodes.

So on the one hand you have a person working on the show telling everyone that the main characters are all minors, but on the other hand you can see how mature they are on the show, and how much time “must” have passed.

I personally feel like Lloyd has reached the state of entering adulthood on the show (him training to be a Sensei for example), but I am not feeling like he is close enough for any… You know.

So Lloyd (and all the other Ninja btw, they are all minors in the creators eyes), will always be minors canonically, but I view them as adults at this points.

(I still don’t ship Lloyd with anyone, because of his weird age-up thing)

In the end people will always ship what they want, no matter how much we write angrily about it. The best we can do is try to approach it calmly to change their minds.

Btw - Do you guys think people will ship movie Lloyd with the other characters? Will that be fine with everyone because even though he is on high school he is at the same age (from the beginning) with the other Ninja?

this pdp shit is honestly making me more and more afraid as a Jew. I have seen so so so so many people defending him, way more than opposing, and just… its scary… people think saying “Death To All Jews” is funny in any context and just… i don’t think this is going to get better any time soon…

Like/reblog this post if you enjoyed Yuri on Ice for more reasons than just Victor and Yuuri’s relationship

I want to prove someone wrong.

My country is celebrating 100 years of independence this year and we are also achieving marriage equality on the 1st of March. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our achievements as a nation than celebrating equality and human rights. Congratulations, Finland, may there be many more victories such as this and may your freedom last a thousand years!

(yes, the Finnish flag appears backwards because she’s waving it around)

More Characters under the cut!

Here it is! The character sketches for the YouTube AU I’ve been working on for months! I’ve got a hell lot of headcanons in my mind for this AU and I’m really grateful to @qi-tana who is going to collaborate with me on this! When I don’t have an upcoming comic, she will have a short (most probably illustrated) fic ready!

svtfoe is so much more the ships, ships are alright but so many people are forgetting svtfoe is also a show about:

- a deeper story about prejudice against monsters

-mystery and magic

-cute and fun characters and getting to see all their dynamics/how they interact with each other

-some very morals/lesson for kids to learn

-and a lot of creative overlooked concepts

-a generally an awesomely animated show with wicked/action fight scenes !!!

It’s just a wacky fun action-packed magical girl show that should be enjoyed as a whole!!! not just hyperfocused the romance aspect. We don’t often get a show like this, a show that does such a good job at teaching us how to have fun!
