and she likes any kind

i was laughing with someone recently about “tumblr user unpr*tty” and this seems like a good time to remind people that there is literally no point in censoring yourself if you wanna talk shit because i can’t vanity search, if i try it’s nothing but tlc lyrics and a k-pop competition of some kind. this is also why you have to @ me if you wanna show me something and we’re not mutuals.

She’s leaning it. Red lips close – so tantalising close it’s fucking taunting her and it’s fucking unfair. So fucking unfair. Because her heart’s pounding, her hands are already on her hips and her throat is so dry it could be a fucking desert.

And it’s so fucking unfair because this is not how it’s supposed to go, and how can her body just betray her like that, just give in to temptation wrapped in a black dress and with positively thirsty eyes?

The Edge of Seventeen Tag

Thanks for tagging me @cookiesimslp967!

Here’s the original tag post by @alwaysimming

rules: reimagine your founder (or a sim you made as an adult) as a teen! maybe even on prom night?

For this tag, we have my dearest Amara, a sim for a story im writing (which I haven’t updated in over a month). I won’t reveal too much about teen Amara because she’ll actually make an appearance in my story at some point. But, for the sake of this tag, i’ll throw in a few things.

As a teen, I would say that Amara was sort of dependent on others in the sense that she would make decisions based on the opinions of others. For example, most of Amara’s fashion choices were heavily influenced by her ‘friends’ opinions, like trading in her ‘dorky’ glasses for contacts. She’s grown out of this for the most part, but when faced with difficult or important choices to make, she’ll still tend to lean on others a little.

i feel like vilde is going to be that girl who like, knows she’s into girls when she graduates high school but then she gets to uni and takes her first women’s studies class and spends the whole term having a Revelation and that revelation is literally just holy shit i love women???? and not always in a sexual or romantic sense, but just reading all these incredible women writers and theorists, learning about all the amazing women who have broken ground in every field, rethinking all she’s ever known about history once she realizes the ways women and their contributions have been systematically erased and feeling all the pain and indignation for them, as well as all the pain and indignation she feels for herself that it took her this long to find out about it. just vilde finding a whole world of writing and of thought about women, written by women, focused entirely on women and their relationships with each other and the power contained there. and the more she learns, the more comfortable she starts to feel with expressing that she’s drawn to women, that she’s fascinated by them, that she thinks most everything they do is fantastic. and a lot of that is intellectual, but a lot of it also starts to loop back into what she’s still discovering about her sexuality and how much she loves like, the way women dress and how they smell and the sounds of their laughs and the shapes of their bodies and what they can do with them, and it’s all just like !! holy shit!! she loves women!!! more than she ever thought was possible, but every day she finds something new, and it’s amazing. women are amazing. w ow.

anonymous asked:

am i the only one who is really annoyed by the fact that brienne always calls jaime "ser jaime" like GIRL you have seen each other naked and been through so much shit for fucks sake dont be so formal smh

(hi nonnie and so sorry for replying this über late, I hope you still see this <3)

You might have come to the wrong person with this question (and not only because I suck at replying asks on time!) because I definitely don’t find it annoying. Unnecessary? Yes, kinda. Sad? Yes. Heartbreaking even? Yes! But not annoying.

Now I don’t know if you were thinking showverse or bookverse, but *George R.R. Martin voice* in the books there are several reasons Brienne would address Jaime as Ser Jaime. For one, it’s what etiquette requires. He is a knight, so he is a ser. Similarly, Hyle Hunt is Ser Hyle for example. Brienne is close enough to Jaime that her dropping the “ser” would probably not offend him, but it would be a very intimate way of addressing him, and Brienne is not comfortable with that. Courtesy is a lady’s armour in more than one way.

(Side note: in Brienne’s dreams she calls Jaime just “Jaime” and - unless I misremember - in her narration she switches between “Jaime” and “Ser Jaime” and I’d actually love to analyse why/how. But clearly she thinks of him more intimately than she talks.)

Secondly, it’s also about genuine respect. Brienne calls Jaime “Ser Jaime” because she respects him as a knight, and it is very important for Jaime she does that. Being addressed like any honorable knight, plain and simple, is kind of a big deal for the Kingslayer. Maybe Brienne even recognises this on some level.

I’m sure Brienne will eventually, either accidentally when overcome by emotion or perhaps by Jaime’s insistence, drop the “ser”. But so far it doesn’t disturb me. It’s what she’s comfortable with and what he appreciates. Of course it’s a little heartbreaking Brienne’s walls are as high as Winterfell’s and that she loves him so much yet addresses him so formally, but isn’t it quite bittersweet too?

As for the show - well, I have less to say because I haven’t been paying as much attention and also I feel like the etiquette/culture is not as consistently portrayed, but what I said about Brienne hiding her feelings behind courtesy and calling Jaime “Ser Jaime” out of respect is just as valid in the show canon imo. Only in the show in season 6 you can clearly see that Jaime (how much thanks to Nikolaj the Ship Captain’s acting rather than the script though??) craves for more intimacy and emotional connection with Brienne, but because of the precarious situation (and maybe because of personal insecurities) she struggles to maintain the distance and calling him “Ser Jaime” is one tool of that. Frustrating for a shipper, I understand, but I still wouldn’t call it annoying. Sad, more like. Fingers crossed that we will hear her call him just “Jaime” in season 7!

Belated Inktober #29

so anna and i occasionally toss around ideas for an extremely ridiculous au in which jack atlas is a fashion designer/occasional model, when the actual models are NOT DISPLAYING HIS OUTFITS TO BEST ADVANTAGE

somehow, i couldnt shake it off of my mind that katie is lurking around tumblr looking at supercorp or lena luthor tags. like what are the chances right? but we’ll never know. we can only hope.

The Jaqobis Brothers: (ง'̀-‘́)ง

You know what was really interesting about chapter 93? The way Annie was presented in the flashbacks.  My good friend KenKen-chan   made an awesome analysis that basically said that when we see Annie in these flashbacks that Reiner is having, she just has this disinterested face we would expect of her, yet everyone else is smiling and conversing with each other.

Annie honestly just looks like she has no interest in the other warrior kids and doesn’t look too happy to be apart of their group. its interesting that while the other warrior kids are smiling and happy, Annie is the only one who looks so desensitize that it looks like she never made an effort to befriend any of them. And tha makes sense considering Annie’s personality and that she doesn’t really make friends easily or just doesn’t want to in general ImeanunlessyourEren

Also one other panel that i thought was pretty foreboding and summed up Annie’s position with the other warrior kids is this one…

We see Reiner’s hand reaching out to Marcel, Gillard, and Bert, yet Annie is positioned to the side and no where near Reiner’s view or reach. And she looks to be far away from from the group and not paying attention to whatever they are talking about. Thats really interesting because even though its a small little detail it gives a broader insight on how what Annie’s standing was to the other eldian children who were training to become a warrior like her. You would guess that with the life they lived and the fact that they were children, all of them would try to form some kind relationship or comradery. Yet Annie doesn’t seem like she cared about any of that and just kind of tolerated working with them without ever trying to form relationships with them. Like I said before, it makes sense why she wouldn’t because of just how antisocial she was and how she never really saw a point in the mission she was assigned to, and how her only main objective was to see her father again.

I also found it interesting that Reiner doesn’t seem like he is reaching out towards Annie like he is with the others. Maybe his view on her as of now is so negative that he doesn’t view her as a comrade or as a friend anymore. He did question her loyalties to the mission and probably had a hard time trusting her when she just so anti social that he could never figure out what she was thinking.

Now i want to see how they’re reunion will be if Annie does decide to jump sides to Eren and the others. I can’ imagine it not being hostile, since he doesn’t seem like he is emotionally or mentally stable as of now.

God bless Hajime Ishiyama for Ymir and all the other girls of SNK and  for giving them the screentime they deserve

change-the-rules  asked:

Listen I pass out for 14 hours and wake up to y'all talking about director sanvers werewolf au's why would you do that to me?! Okay so Maggie def gets changed when she's 14 her dad kicks her with nothing but a shiner she has no time to contact her aunt and no one in town will help so she has to walk to the nearest gas station to find a phone, she never quite makes it. Something jumps her just as she's about to leave to woods for the highway. She's left for dead rapidly bleeding out and of 1/26

course this is how she dies, slowly losing the rest of her blood from an animal attack alone in the woods, alone in the world, only she wakes up. She wakes up several dozen miles from home with no clothes mostly healed, in a completely different set of woods next to a half eaten deer with blood around her mouth, the local sheriff finds her but it turns out he’s part of a pack that’s been hunting the rogue werewolf that attacked Maggie. He takes her in and teaches

her about what she is now and how to control the wolf so she remembers the changes and just basically werewolf 101. Human Maggie decides 2 things those first few weeks she’s gunna be a cop and help people and she’s never eating meat out wolf form again. Ughh and I have so many feelings about I was an outcast and I felt like it Maggie having one more thing to ‘other her’ and she eventually develops pride for this part of her just like all the others that make her different but she wants to

be a cop down to her very bones so she has to hide that part of herself nd it chafes because Maggie doesn’t like closets of any kind and when she eventually starts dating she learns quick that most people can’t be trusted with that kind of secret. Her new pack gets lucky bc of her sudden appearance no one assumes there’s more of them, wolves in the community but it means she has to say goodbye to her new family. She ends up in Gotham bc it’s a big city nd aweird dangerous one nd she figures

she’ll fit right in she’s right in. [alternatively a less angsty route is she finds her aunt who’s been ostracized from the family and learns it’s because she got turned into a wolf after falling in love with one and Maggie moves in and they love her and the pack takes to her immediately. So after awhile she asks to be turned so she can join the pack and eventually they agree.] Maggie having that sense that animals do about ppl so she has like this 6th sense about corrupt cops and in Gotham

no small thing and of course Maggie tries to clean house from the inside and of course that gets her into trouble she only manages to avoid the assassination attempts because of her extra reflexes and she manages to testify but she can’t stay in Gotham which is how she ends up in national city. Maggie who doesn’t strictly date aliens but prefers them bc what’s the big deal about turning into a wolf once a month to a person who can form telepathic connections using the dorsum of their tongue

Maggie and Alex crime scene jurisdiction wolf edition: Alex saunters over and Maggie’s senses are going wild because wolf? wolf. wolf?! mate?! (she ignores that one) wolf!!!! but she’s gotta play it cool except she has so many questions because what is this wolf doing here? Maggie knows there aren’t any packs in NC in fact there aren’t many packs left period and the ones who are tend to stick to small middle of nowhere towns. It’s rare to run into another wolf in the city and even rarer in

in general to find one who isn’t rogue and Maggie would know if there was a rogue werewolf running around her new city even if she weren’t in the science division handling cases of things that go bump in the night. At first she thinks 'what the hell are you doing at my crime scene’ is nod to her being a wolf not a cop but this fed, this Alex hasn’t shown even a flicker of recognition and it almost makes Maggie second guess herself but no, this woman is a def wolf but what is she doing here?

what is her angle? is she new? does she come from a weak pack? does she even know she’s a wolf? she has to know but then why isn’t she showing any hint of acknowledgment? Maggie is basically super intrigued and she tells herself it has everything to do with what this woman’s deal is as a another wolf in her city and nothing to do with any sort of nonexistent attraction she absolutely does not feel. And Alex walking away from that interaction super grumpy and everyone assuming it’s bc a cop

dared to step foot on her crime scene but Kara keeps smirking over at her bc after years of being close with Alex she can tell when someone else is a werewolf. Alex’s brain is running a million miles a minute trying to figure out how long this lone wolf’s been in NC and if she’s going to be a problem meanwhile her inner wolf won’t stop howling a tune that sounds suspiciously like 'can you feel the love tonight’ and she’s just staunchly ignoring THAT. Now Alex’s wolf origins are where I’m

just remembered that in the DnD campaign i’m in, our dm had us fight sans undertale, and my coward teenager fantasy-pterodactyl rogue took his hoodie after the battle, and i hadnt drawn it yet

there’s no way she can practically wear it, but i figure that she’d probably at least need to rip the sleeves off in order to be able to put it on at all
