and people say he's a bad guy

Character Bio: Aaron (a.k.a. Cheese Boy)

Say hello to Aaron. Aaron is an all around friendly guy with a big heart. He’s a bit shy when it comes to meeting people, but he warms up quickly. His hair color is often referred to as “cheesey”. That’s not a bad thing, it works for him. He’s a good guy to have in your corner and a great friend!

  • Age: 25
  • Traits: Geek, Clumsy, Cheerful
  • Favorite Color: Red
  • Likes: Cheese, Glasses, Good-smelling Flowers
  • Dislikes: Mold, Sad Puppies, Grandma Kisses

I really find it quite sad how much hate some characters get in the YOI fandom just because they’re not nice lil’ cinnamon rolls.

Like JJ - people hate Jean Jacques because he’s arrogant, as though that’s not completely normal in competitive sports.

It’s actually realistic that not all characters are all nice and friendly and cheering for each other. It’s important to acknowledge that both sorts of people exist in the world of figure skating.

(And can I say that no one seems to hate on Seung Gil even though he’s cold and self-centered himself?)

Or take Chris - a weird guy, I understand that he can make people uncomfortable and I personally agee that his sexuality is somewhat overdone, but he’s not actually a bad guy and is a skilled skater, but the only thing that people focus on is the ‘climaxes’ (literal or otherwise) to his routines?

The truth is that there have been skaters like him in history, very open and flamboyant and unashamed and, as you’d expect, people bashed them too (I mean, take Johnny Weir as an example and he never got anywhere near to what Chris does). People like them are verbally harassed just because they’re different and you’d figure that a fandom with so many LGBT+ individuals could be more understanding of them?

I’d say Yuri on Ice is an interesting exercise in broadening your horizons and being less judgemental and more accepting. I mean, JJ officially does charity work during off-seasons and actually crosses himself before his performances, not to mention the love for his home country (look at his tattoo). Meanwhile, Chris is motivated to skate by his admiration for Victor which isn’t all that different to Yuuri, and he loves cats (as seen in the ending IG pic).

I know that they’re not necessarily easily likeable characters and I understand that hate will always exist in fandoms, but can we at least try to see where they’re coming from and not prejudge them too much? (especially considering how little we actually get to see of them.)

New Clint Barton headcanon:

About 40% of the time Clint can annoy his captors into just sending him back. It took him a while to be able to correctly guess which bad guys will just break his jaw (or other crucial bones) to get him to shut up and which ones will just gag him. Which honestly, Clint doesn’t need his mouth to be annoying. He has more annoying in his Pinky Toe than most people have in their whole bodies.

He almost stops after the one group puts a bow on his head and sends a note along that says “We’re pretty sure he’ll do more damage to SHIELD than we ever could.” That one was pretty demoralizing for a few weeks. But then someone (Coulson) had this great idea to use Clint’s super power for good on purpose instead of incidentally. The last time they used it, Clint got the lead scientist to promise to turn himself in if he would just “STOP giving answers to the tune of the song that never ends!”

Ruiner of Sh-… I Mean Pontiff Sulyvahn

This guy… hmm.. the only nice thing I can say about him that he has some awesome moveset, a bad-ass design, and the battle against him is still tense even with NPC summons. His rise to power, and grand ambition broke what’s left of the gods’ leadership. It’s hard to choose sides since, the gods started all this mess, but he’s not exactly a model citizen either.

He’s part of a church that feeds people alive to a “saint.” To add to this list, he’s turned some of his servants into those weird croco-dogs, slowly transmogrified his exiles into slobbering Knight-beasts, fed a god to aforementioned “saint,” have infinite stamina, unearthed the profaned flame for his nefarious plans, have infinite stamina, forced someone to do his victory dances for him, he could duplicate himself for twice the pain, and he has INFINITE STAMINA!! For cripes sake! Just let me have a swig of my flask!!!

In Mexican lucha libre — professional wrestling known for its masked fighters and cartoonish style — the bad guys rule. They’re known simply as rudos.

“Mexican lucha libre is for rudos. We welcome any rudo who wants to come in here and be badder than the others,” says Marco Espinosa, a fan, from beneath his souvenir lucha libre mask.

So it made sense for Sam Polinsky, a 27-year-old wrestler from Pittsburgh, to try his luck south of the border. He came to Mexico about nine months ago and branded himself as Sam Adonis, “El Rudo de las Chicas” or the “Ladies’ Bad Guy.”

When Donald Trump won the presidency after a campaign that regularly scapegoated and insulted the Mexican people, Polinsky saw an opportunity to turn up the heat on his bad-guy character.

“I had a perfect idea: Why not come to the arena with [an American] flag, but I’m gonna take this to a whole other level,” he says, unfurling a flag and grinning. “I have a 4-ft. flag with the face of Donald Trump on it.”

With this prop, he became the surrogate of Donald Trump in Mexican lucha libre.

No offense but anyone who’s saying that Mon-El interrupting that Sanvers coming out scene is wrong or that they made the scene about Mon-El being a good guy in front of Kara can, with all due respect, fuck off. They all said something to Alex but here we are again with all of you reaching and trying to make it seem like he’s the bad guy for interacting with Alex, while, in fact, he didn’t do anything wrong.

Mon-El shrugged it all off because being gay is indeed not a big deal, yet your salty asses are complaining again that he somehow “interrupted” the scene. Trust me when I say that when you come out, you don’t want people to fucking stare at you for 10 minutes, congratulate you for being human and talk about it like it’s something special? Like thank you for making me feel like I have a fucking disease? You can literally hate Karamel, I don’t care about that or them, what I care about is y’all acting like what Mon-El did or said was wrong. Coming out, in my opinion, shouldn’t even be a thing and Mon-El’s reaction was actually really sweet, kinda mirroring the “coming out shouldn’t be a thing” concept.

So can you stop being asses for one fucking second and stop picking on every fucking single little thing he does, especially in scenes where he does nothing wrong like right now mayhaps? Thank you.

  • werecats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • arya, badass elven princess, being 10000% aware of the fact that most of the world is beneath her

  • murtagh’s life, like..all of it
  • there is a pronunciation guide at the end of each book, so you know how the author intended each name to be pronounced
  • murtagh’s back scar

This isn’t a smug British “told you so” post or anything, I want to tell Americans that I empathise with assuming the best of your fellow people and waking up to complete shock and betrayal. To find yourself in a country far more hateful then you hoped it to be. I know what it’s like to literally feel suspicious of everyone you walk past on the street.

But we’re still here. And you’ve got to keep fighting and telling them that one election isn’t the end of it. Make Trump’s life hell. Make him know that he’s taken command of a country filled with people who detest him.

I’m a Brit but I’m not here to say “see? We’re not as bad as you guys” I’m here to say - I know what it’s like to find yourself trapped in a place which advertises itself as having a viewpoint you don’t share. That the rise of right wing extremism is a global problem that white people are accountable for and must fight. It is our job not to leave the country, our job not to give up and distance ourselves. We have to stay and vote and protest and speak out and educate.

Based on polls PoC did everything they could! It’s us white people that need to fix the mess we let happen.

okay new art style isnt working out, but –

Here you go! Design of my Travelers!AU. I’ll probably redraw it later but for now take it.
Thanks A LOT to @faimrs for help with the story and stuff.

So Geno is a nerd. Kinda. He’s studying in some american (?) school and he tries really hard to get good grades but sometimes it’s really really hard for him. He lives with his mom and little brothers. He have some people he know and people he can talk to but he can’t call them friends.
He’s bipolar, his mood can change really quick from good to bad so sometimes he can’t control the words he’s saying, swearwords and all offensive things, etc. He mostly regrets every word he ever said to someone.
And Reaper is that typical badass who loves to skip school and he just don’t give a shit about anything what’s happening around him. Probably.
He played the role of a “cool guy” for his brother to make Papyrus respect him but Reaper lost himself in under this “mask” or whatever you call it.
The story is: Reaper saved Geno from the bullies on his car (That he rented btw and he lied to Geno that he bought it but he found it out anyway). They started to hang out and they were friends for a year or more. But when Geno had a fight with his family he was super upset and angry, so he moved to Reaper’s place unable to carry the weight of his problems any more. One lazy day when Reaper and Geno was watching movies cops visited them because Reaper wasn’t paying for the car. Reaper somehow managed to send them away and then said, in panic “Geno, we need to leave the town, now”. At fisrt Geno didn’t want to, but he agreed after some time. So one summer evening they left and never came back.

So as you can see they travel around the country. They’re wanted in the police because Reaper have a giant debt so along with traveling they’re trying to hide from the police.
One important fact: their car’s without a roof
Ya know. Sleep in shitty motels, eat junk food.
sex in the car.

ok so about that point about how people are like “oh k/h/l are so wholesome!! never dirty bad thoughts uwu” like ok…. no… because like canon things to have happened:

Lance: “girl you’ve already activated my particle barrier” LIKE WHAT DO YOU THINK HE WAS TALKING ABOUT???  H I S  D I C K  also like Lance is into bondage just… fuckin saying

Keith: straight up threatened to  m u r d e r  someone in S2 just FYI

Hunk: is lowkey rude af and ALSO kinkshamed the fuck out of Lance in the mermaid episode so just like “I know this mermaid thing is like a dream of yours…” …. i mean come on

Anyways Brooklyn Nine Nine au where the sqaud has to fake Jake’s death to catch a bad guy and at his fake funeral Holt has to say nice things but Charles and Rosa and Gina keep interrupting with additions.

“He was a fine officer –”

“A great officer.”

“He was a great officer, sir.”

“Yes. He was a great officer and a brilliant detective –”

“Amy solved more cases than him last year.”

“/Rosa/, that was only out of the love in his heart –”

“Some would call him handsome.”

“The most handsome”

“Ugh, Charles, clearly I am more handsome and those people have terrible taste.”

“Are you QUITE DONE, detectives?”

“…. Yes sir.”

And then Charles starts crying even though Jake’s not really dead because “it’s just the thought, you know?” and Rosa nods grimly and pats him on the shoulder.

Ok this isn’t me saying anything bad about Henrik (who I think is one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen.) But something I really loved about Skam and their use of Even. When we first see Even he’s the gorgeous, mysterious, magical teenage boy that you see in all the movies and tv shows of the perfect, hot, dreamy guy.

But as we spend time with Even, he becomes more and more human and a different kind of beauty is shown. His hair is dirty and oily and becomes a big mess, he has spots on his forehead, his skin would be blotchy, his body was allowed to be lanky and awkward. He would sing along to pop songs and do other normal dorky things. He got to be down and depressed, and to despair and to be miserable and that was all ok. He wasn’t up on this pedestal anymore, he didn’t have to be this unattainable ideal, he was human and real.

It reminds me of that quote by Angelita Lim. “I saw that you were perfect and so I loved you.  Then I saw that you were not perfect and I loved you even more.” Even is perfect, but he’s not at the same time, but he’s still amazing, beautiful, and wonderful all at the same time.

My Reaction When People Say They Hate Stefan

Because he is a nice guy?

Because he treats people with respect and acknowledges their rights?

Because he let Elena make her own choices?

Because he feels bad about his past and all the awful things he has done?

Because he (excluding Bonnie for this post) is the most selfless character on the show?

Because he frequently saves his brother and proves how much he loves him despite all the shit Damon gives him (their relationship is very one-sided)?

Because he is the voice of reason most of the time?

Because he tries to fix all of Damon’s mistakes?

Because he gives up his own happiness and safety to help others?

Because he was the only person (excluding Nadia) that treated Katherine with human decency when she was dying?

Because he overcomes all the shit and drama he is put through?

Because he always aims to be a better person and avoid hurting people?

Because no matter what he has a pure heart?

Because he understands what is and what isn’t acceptable?

Because he not only cared about Elena but also her family and friends and still cared about her and supported her (and her family and friends) when she left him for her brother?

Because he is a complex character that went through actual development and has an intriguing story that the show is meant to be about?

okay i usually dont talk about this kind of topics but do you really think jonghyun did that to annoy and disappoint his fans? do you think that if he’d known he was gonna get this feedback he would have done it? i mean if you think jjong is that mean, why are you even stanning shinee? why are you a shawol if you think jonghyun is such a bad person?

it’s funny how people say you need to educate others so that they won’t do things like these, but if it’s an idol we’re talking about they’re already completely educated and they know about everything. just so you guys know, human beings NEVER stop learning, they learn new things everyday until they die. jonghyun learnt about that today and i’m sure he won’t do it ever again.

he is an idol, but above everything he is an human being like you and like me. doing something wrong not knowing it is, is as bad as not educating someone to make sure they wont do it again.

Ok, but, does anyone else want to see Peter and Bruce together? I mean, Peter being excited because he finally meets Bruce, and Bruce just standing there, without knowing what to do, and…

“You’re awesome, dude! I mean, besides you turn into a big green guy and you just… smash the bad guys, which is pretty cool, I really love the Hulk, but… You’re a genius! I’m a big fan of your job and all the… Am I bothering you?”

“No, of course you’re not, you…”

“Mister Stark say sometimes I bother people.”

“Don’t worry, Tony says that about anyone.”

“Yeah, he doesn’t like people too much, does he? Well, it doesn’t matter. What was I going to say? Oh, that! I had an exam a few weeks ago, and you were in it.”

“Yeah! A science exam, of course. Great scientists of the century, you know…”

And Bruce just smiles, while the boy continues amazingly talking about his exam and the questions in it (that he answered all correctly), and when Peter ends he congrats him for getting a good mark in his test, and a few hours later Tony come to the lab and sees Peter with a lab coat and asks him what the hell is he doing and Peter just screams “I’m helping doctor Banner!”.
I’m sorry, I just… Bye.

stop!!! trying to!!! paint ushijima as some horrible person!! stop making him out to be the bad guy!!!

he’s literally a really nice (albeit blunt) young man who cares deeply for his team and strives to impress his dad. he takes pride in his school and in his team and would legitimately do anything for them.

ushijima is blunt and to the point. he doesn’t understand social cues. he doesn’t comprehend certain things you should and shouldn’t say and the most important thing: he just. doesn’t know how to phrase things right and it makes him sound rude to some people

“you went down the wrong path.”

that sentence is not insulting oikawa or anything abt him; it’s expressing that ushijima is frustrated over the fact that oikawa hurt himself so badly and was in so much suffering to do better, when shiratorizawa was the place ushijima feels oikawa would get the most out of. he’s frustrated that it lead to oikawa fucking his knee up so badly.

his thought process was basically like “if you had just come with me you could of gotten stronger without getting such an injury,” because ushijima hates to see oikawa suffering. coming to shiratorizawa was what ushijima thought was the best for oikawa and where he would thrive from. he’s literally not insulting anything or anyone.

he’s not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings and he wants to drive his point across but he just doesn’t know how. he’s not being mean.

stop putting oikawa on a pedestal to shoot ushijima down. oikawa has plenty of good traits and plenty of bad ones and trying to throw ushijima under the bus to make oikawa (and iwaoi in particular) seem better is just annoying. oikawa is a really good, sweet, hardworking, driven boy and you can see and we can appreciate him without all that bullshit.

just fucking stop and leave the kid alone he just wants to play volleyball it’s not like hes the antichrist

♡  - pretend to be in a relationship (w/ neighbour!taehyung)
@sugababay bc i lied to you, i’m coming after your number one bias instead

As much as you complain about the hassle that you go through with being Taehyung’s… “friend”, you’ll never admit that it’s not so bad to begin with. Here’s the thing: Taehyung was a really nice guy - beyond that, goes to the end of the world to do the right thing. He’s not that bad looking (if anything, you would have to say he’s attractive), he has good grades and his life is pretty much in check.

Until he moved away and comes back five years later. And is now the target of people coming at him because he’s fresh meat.

However, when you recognize those pair of hazel eyes and that timbre tone in his voice, it brings you back to childhood days of when yes, this is the same boy who held your hand whenever you felt afraid and promised to fight anything that would dare harm you. So seeing him in the position of being a human pinball, pushed from one end to another, you tell your circle of friends to give me five minutes and that’s how the rest of the boys got to meet the boy who remained crouching on the floor as the remaining five earlier ends up with a bruise on their faces before scurrying to run off.

Then came a proposition that you agreed to in exchange for your reputation, brought onto the table with Taehyung’s ability to persuade your parents to let you go out with the guys him so what’s there to lose?

“Aw, look at my baby girl,” Taehyung squishes your cheeks, in a teasing yet loving manner when he makes you shake your head left and right. Jungkook and Jimin are dying from laughing too hard, Seokjin can’t help but snicker, Hoseok’s falling off his seat, Yoongi and Namjoon taking pictures for blackmail one day.

Past your smiling face, your hand squeezes Taehyung’s thigh under the table before you let the words seethe through your teeth: “I’m so going to kill you in your sleep.”

Okay, apart from that, things were great. Taehyung never got bullied ever again. On the contrary, people were afraid of him because if anyone dared mess with him, well, it’s an automatic challenge that brought on you, along with the others that sat at that one table in the middle of cafeteria where almost everyone knew not to play a fool with unless you’d want a death wish. You, on the other hand, got to go out without needing to cover up with lies that technically wasn’t if your parents didn’t ask and grades that got better when Taehyung manages to slip in tutoring sessions every now and then.

Ah, except one thing. Sometimes, at night, Taehyung likes to - “Hey, Y/N. Could you come over?”

“…I swear to god, Tae. It’s two in the morning,”

He whines, “But I can’t sleep…”

“Your parents’ room is just down the hall. Their bed is big enough for three,”

“Or jerk off! It’ll get you sleepy and-”

“Fine! Unlatch your damned window!”

You can hear him chuckling with an excited yes! before he hangs up. With a groan, you toss your phone aside and grab onto your pillow before heading over to your window. When you see on the opposite end he’s already ready to catch you when you climb over, you step out and toss him your pillow. He looks confused, holds it, but mindlessly puts it away with a tch before locking his arms around you when you jump.

Taehyung’s able to smile when he has you in his arms, lying in his bed as he hugs you tight and hooks his chin on your shoulder even if you refuse to look at him with your back facing his chest.

“Thank you, Y/N,”

“Yeah yeah yeah, go to sleep. Class starts extra early tomorrow,”

Taehyung already knows he’s screwed, when this is the opposite of what he’s doing if he wants to actually sleep because somewhere between of this being pretend, he knows he doesn’t want any of this to be just pretend.

imo a lot of grantaire mischaracterization comes from a simple misunderstanding that grantaire is an extrovert, not an introvert
he says he hates people, but he is needy for people 24/7

hugo says he knows every bar and place to eat
grantaire could take over all of guy fieri’s TV shows

his self care isn’t staying home, he doesn’t have a sense of self care, find him absolutely shitfaced at that one hole in the wall that’s open past midnight, shoving cake into his mouth and looking for company
