and now it seems lucie is back

Okay but I just imagine the Pevensies going to their respective schools after Prince Caspian, and it doesn’t take the other kids long to notice something is…off about them.
There’s something rough in the edges of Peter that the worst of the other boys keep getting cut on. Something powerful and confident. He was always likable, the shining golden child that the school trots out as a perfect example to incoming students, but now he is strong, he has emerged from the countryside a leader. He stands up to bullies, he always has, but he’s more eager to get into a fight these days than to talk them down. He’s a strong hand and quick word, but there’s power to back it up this time.
There’s something in the way Susan tilts her head that makes her seem like a woman. The way she carries herself high and tall, the proud line of her shoulders as she walks down the hall that makes some lable her to high and mighty for her own good. The world doesn’t know what to do with queens, and that’s what Susan seems to be these days.
There’s something dark lurking in Edmund that makes the other boys uneasy. Something wild and untamed in the now quiet boy. He no longer gets into fights, no longer bullies or mocks the others. In fact, he’s taken to stopping fights, to pushing back against his former friends when they try to take things to far. His roomate claims he wakes screaming from nightmares sometimes, and the stillness of his presence belies the intensity of his eyes.
There’s something burning in Lucy that wasn’t before. All the teachers comment on it. There’s something loud and cheerful in the girl who used to be quiet, and she makes friends even faster than before, pulled in by her captivating orbit. She spins fantastic tales, and is scolded for having her head in the clouds. She tells her tales of magical kingdoms as if she were really there, and gets sad sometimes, as if she misses the people who were never there.

Everyone agrees that something happened to the Pevensie children in the country, but they never talk about it. The adults eventually just chalk it up to the war, and almost forget about the strange children that populatetd their classrooms, until they read about the tragedy in the paper. Then they remember. And they never forget.

now that the whole xena reboot tv show seems to have fallen through, can netflix just give us a proper revival with lucy and renee, a.k.a., what the people want?????

here, i will plan the whole season for them:

  • one devastating plotty episode about xena being brought back from the dead. obvs this would mean that gabrielle has been without her for SIXTEEN YEARS, which kind of makes my soul want to barf with despair. to make up for it, at the end of the episode when they’re properly reconciled they will have the most epic kiss that has ever graced a screen.
  • one emotional episode with eve
  • one odd couple episode where xena and gabrielle have a hard time adjusting to living with each other in a house for a prolonged period of time. xena wins every bickering match with “i was dead!!!” because who wouldn’t, but also i can definitely see gabrielle busting out, “who hasn’t been dead for at least a little while??” when she gets really irritated.
  • one romantic shenanigans episode with aphrodite
  • one episode set in the 90s for some reason
  • ONE EPISODE SET IN SPACE FOR SOME REASON
  • one au episode where xena and gabrielle fall in love all over again
  • one episode where xena meets all her clones again (which i guess would be hard since it’s been 40-ish years since she saw them last due to the pesky season 6 time jump, but if that means lucy lawless in old lady makeup then i am down)
  • one episode where gabrielle’s renown as a bard (because obvs she is famous now) causes some sort of hilarious hijinks
  • one episode where joxer is somehow alive again
  • one musical episode because why not
  • and it can end on, obviously, the xena/gabrielle wedding episode

boom! there you go!

A list (hardly complete, just what I happened to have in my AO3 bookmarks, others should please add) of low-conflict NurseyDex fics for @des-zimbits and @stultiloquentia.

love you as the plant that never blooms, by horchatita394 & wishingonalightningbolt

This one glosses over pretty much their entire first year in a paragraph and then dives into it with them already being friends and coming back to Samwell to start their second year. Ace Dex finding out he’s more gray ace than he thought.

The Mechanics of Poetry, by @omgericzimmermann

One of my favorite fics ever. Dex invites Nursey back to Maine with him the summer after freshman year and finds out he doesn’t actually know how to drive. That’s pretty much the extent of what amounts to conflict between them, the rest is just some excellent slow-burn falling in love.

row upon row, by akadiene/@fatlardo

Starts after what appears to be an accidental drunken night together, but then Dex gets a call that his grandmother has died and he needs to go home. Nursey drives him. (Obviously he knows how to drive in this one.)

What are you waiting for?, by @marswithghosts and Unravel Me, by @annundriel

This is a porn star AU, so, you know, NSFW like whoa. Nursey is a cocky shit who enjoys teasing Dex, the cameraman, but there’s not really antagonistic conflict between them.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?, by @marswithghosts

Dex works an IT helpline, Nursey is the idiot from the business side of the office who keeps having the stupidest problems with his computer. But then they meet at the office Christmas party, and he confesses maybe he’s not that much of an idiot after all.

Static, by @storiesfromtheden

Dex is a workaholic executive. Nursey is the spoken word poet who finds Dex’s erstwhile personal assistant’s abandoned phone. Dex seems like he’s in kind of a jam, sending this Lucy person increasingly annoyed and desperate texts, so Nursey decides to help him out… and then refuses to give the phone back. You know, just in case Dex has another emergency before he finds a new assistant. That’s totally the only reason.

Nursey & Julia, by Schuyler

ETA: Augh, I almost forgot one of my favorites! Dex moves to NYC for grad school, and Nursey just happens to have an apartment they can share. (Or at least his great-aunt did, and now Nursey has use of it.) Features a lot of Nursey trying to cook to show Dex he cares isn’t useless.

Petals and Thorns, by *cough* me

This is the Dex is a punk star, Nursey is a florist (and poet) AU, and since they’re both adults who grew out of their defensive phases before they ever met, I figured I could just dispense with the arguing. (Also, because Dex was in a punk band, he was a lot more in-your-face about his life/preferences from a much younger age, rather than repressing.) There is loving sarcasm, coffee, a roof garden, and a trip to South America. (Pretty much all my NurseyDex on AO3 probably qualifies, honestly, because the fighting is the least interesting part of their relationship to me, but I’m already embarrassed enough about including myself on my own rec list, so… *turns red, runs away*)

“I don’t want you.”

Natsu watched Lucy take a step back, eyes wide and lip trembling, as if he had actually hit her. Natsu’s stomach turned at the thought. Hurting Lucy was something he could never imagine doing, and yet it was what he seemed to constantly do. In fact he was doing it right now.

“You’re lying.” Lucy whispered. She seemed to be mustering all the courage that she could, but Natsu could still see the trickle of fear in her chocolate gaze. And it killed him. Didn’t she know he was lying, that he didn’t mean it? Was he really so horrible that she doubted her place in his life?

“No, I’m not. I don’t want you. As my lover, my partner, my friend. Nothing.” Natsu said, voice hard and low. He was impressed his voice didn’t break, that all the emotions and fear that he held inside weren’t spilling out of his very pores.

“You’re lying,” she repeated, hands balling into fists beside her. Natsu watched as all doubt was burned from her eyes, soul flaring wild and hot and angry

“I’m not lying Lucy, gods, can’t you get it through that pretty skull of yours? You mean nothing to me.”

Natsu looked away. He couldn’t watch her as she cried anymore, couldn’t watch how his words cut her. It was the only way, if he made her hate him then she wouldn’t be sad when he died. Either by the cancer his brother’s experiments had put in him or Zeref’s hand itself, it didn’t matter. Nastu was going to die, and he’d rather go to hell than drag her soul down with him.

Natsu stepped back with a gasp, cheek throbbing with Lucy had slapped him. He touched a finger to the burning skin, gaping at Lucy. She’d hit him.

Gods did he love her.

“Stop lying.” Lucy snarled, crowding into his space, eyes bright and furious as she looked up at him. “You’re a terrible liar.” she spat.

Natsu pressed his lips into a thin line, trying to glare down at her. He had to keep this mask on. It was for the best. It had to be.

They stared at one another, tense and challenging, willing the other to back down. Natsu snapped his gaze away when he realized neither were going to cave. It was good to know his stubbornness had rubbed off on her.

“Why can’t you just hate me?” Natsu mumbled under his breath, rubbing at his temple as he closed his eyes. He should’ve known this was a stupid plan. When did Lucy ever abandon a friend?

He looked up at the ceiling, water stains discoloring the wooden beams several feet above them, Lucy’s arms tight as she crushed her body against his. “Because I love you.”

“You shouldn’t.”

“Don’t tell me what to do,” Lucy said, squeezing hard enough for Natsu to feel his ribs shift inside him. He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her tightly as he buried his nose in the top of her hair. Despair clutched at his heart. He had to live for her, he couldn’t just leave her now. “We’ll figure something out, Natsu. I’m not letting you go.”

It would have been so much easier if she just hated him.

“I love you too.”

“He’s hot,” Cana repeats for what must be the sixth time in the span of five minutes, the brunette practically purring as she eyes the attractive man across the café. She’s blatantly staring and Lucy is fairly certain that if she keeps it up they’re either going to be noticed by the attractive man across the room or thrown out by Mira because is being a fucking creep.

Lucy just wanted to hang out with her friend on her one day off in the last two weeks, not freak the fuck out of some guy she doesn’t know because Cana has no idea how to behave in public.

She sighs, dropping her chin to rest against her palm and pretending to be thoroughly engrossed in her slushy. Strawberry lemonade has always been a favorite of hers and Cana is ruining the sanctity of frozen fruit beverages. Lucy casually glances at the man in question, eyes widening slightly in horror when she catches sight of his arm. “If you’re referring to the fact that his sleeve is on fire,” she says slowly, “than I’d be inclined to agree.”

The man pats out the small flame quickly, laughing as he turns back to his friend across the table, and Lucy takes a long moment to just look at him. Her head tilts to the side, eyes narrowing slightly in thought. He looks like some kind of punk-rock model, if she’s being honest with herself. The flash of silver piercings in his ear gains her rapt attention, and she has to bit her lower lip when she sees the hoop through the bottom right corner of his lip. His bright, bubble-gum pink hair is shocking, but not necessarily unpleasant. And Lucy is pretty sure cheekbones like that can only be carved from marble.

Yeah, the dude is freakishly hot, but Lucy has the decency not to weird about it.

“Oh, come on, Lucy!” Cana whines, shoving at her shoulder roughly and making Lucy nearly drop her slushy. “Look at that face! Those arms!” Too late, Cana, Lucy already is and she very much appreciates the way his tank-top leaves his arms bare and clings to his chest just right.

Fuck, now Lucy’s being creepy, too.

Lucy looks away before Cana or the attractive stranger can notice her obvious interest in the way his shirt stretches across his broad chest. “You know,” Lucy muses, pointing at Cana with the end of her straw before popping the tube into her mouth and sucking off the ice and juice clinging to the bottom. “You’re kind of being creepy.”

Cana is silent for exactly eight seconds, her eyes narrowed as she considers Lucy’s words.

“I’m going to take a picture of him.”

Companions reacting to a pregnant Sole going into labor in the middle of no where.

AN: Oh I’ve got a thing for romanced companions ones :D Thank you for the request! Because of this I now know what to do if a woman (or me for that matter) is about to gonna give birth in the middle of nowhere or in a car or sth. I’m learning some life skills here! ;) PS: the first ones got a bit long I tried to kinda restrain myself after those to avoid tldr but man this ask is technically fanfic/oneshot material.

Prologue:
Sole’s eyes widened. “You’ve got to be kidding me.” She figured she could make it back to Diamond city in time to give birth to this kid and settle down there for a while… take it easy. Clearly she had been mistaken. This baby was coming and nothing was going to stop it. She looked over at her companion, who was still oblivious to what was happening, and pointed at a very, very shabby looking hut-like thing in the distance. “Let’s check that out.”  She figured that was exactly how far she was still going to get. As soon as they closed the door behind them she hunched over, stumbled over to the remnants of a bed and grabbed on to the upper arm of her companion. She looked him straight in the eye. “ Looks like this baby isn’t waiting around for the due date. I’m having this baby. Now. “

Codsworth
“ Oh dear! Okay, it’s happening! Let’s… let’s get you comfortable, Mum!” Codsworth put on a brave face and tried his best to keep his cool but could not for the life of him hide his panic (or excitement, Sole wasn’t entirely sure) in the slightest. Sure, he wasn’t exactly programmed to help bringing children into the world but he was sure that they would manage, after all “it is a beautiful and natural part of life, mum”. His peptalk, including those exact words, served more to soothe himself than to soothe Sole,
“Codsworth I appreciate you wanting to make me feel better but let’s focus on this tiny human getting out safely rather than on peptalking me, please?”
“ Certainly! Oh, it will be such a beautiful child! I bet it’ll have your eyes,Mum.”
“ Codsworth… I’m in a lot of pain.”
“ Err… right. What should I do?”
“ Get out water, some clean cloth or clothing to wrap this kid in, anything helpful.” Another contraction hit her. “ Right. Now.”   Codsworth tried to hide that he felt at a loss considering he had no clue on how to proceed next. In between contractions, Sole just told him what to do next as he meticulously followed her every instruction. He hated that he couldn’t help her with the pain but it’d have to do.

Danse:
Danse stayed remarkably calm and got out of his power armor. Sole kept his eyes on him. Sure, she hadn’t expected him to be the kind to go  frantic but he was far too calm… did he think she was kidding or something? “ I’m not joking.”
“ I am aware of that. There is no need for concern. Breathe in, breathe out and relax.I won’t let anything happen to you or this baby.”
 “Danse, I know for a fact that ‘how to be a midwife’ is not part of the Brotherhood’s training process.”
Danse smiled, she didn’t think she’d ever seen him more in love with her than in that moment. “  Ensuring that you are prepared for the mission you will embark on is part of the training. I made sure I was well-informed  and therefore know precisely what to do. Our only concern is potential complications.” Sole’s stomach turned at the idea of that being a possibility and regretted not listening when he had urged her to just lay low and stop travelling around sooner.  He took some clean cloth, water, a stim pack, a pipet… out of his backpack and took his top off. Sole’s tried to smile but the pain made it difficult.  “Danse… I appreciate the distraction but …”
“ We need to keep this child warm, body heat is ideal. I presumed you are in enough discomfort already however you can certainly opt to use your own body heat.” Sole grimaced. Yeah, she was in enough discomfort already indeed.
“ No thanks. “ He got a blanked out and put it over her after helping her out of her pants, presumeably to keep her warm.
“  You might have to breastfeed the child as it will lessen the bleeding due to the hormones.” She smiled at Danse. “Thanks for having my back.”
Danse gave her a reassuring smile and brushed some hair out of her face as gently as possible. “ Thank you for being the love of my life and giving me a family. Hang in there Sole, you’re going to be allright. Both of you. I will protect you, no matter what. Both you and our child. “

MacCready:
 MacCready seemed to be lost in thought. “ Don’t just stand there, now what do we do?”  He sat down beside her.
“ We don’t have time to get you to a doctor so we’re gonna have to make do with whatever we’ve got here. But hey, how hard can it be right?”
“ You have no idea.”
“ Right, sorry. Lucy made it very clear to me that it wasn’t easy when she had Duncan. The things she yelled at me, I thought I’d pull back a bloody stump considering how hard she squeezed my hand. I’ve only seen it and even I felt traumatised. I mean, damn what you women do is way more badass than anything that I…“
“ Yeah, real comforting there, MacCready.”
“ *ahum* Anyway I think I’ve got this.” He grabbed a somewhat clean shirt from his duffel bag and started ripping it up after putting his coat underneath Sole. The house may have come with a bed but clean sheets were something else entirely.“ You’ve still got some purified water, right?” He looked through her stuff and lifted the bottle. ‘Found it!’
“ I appreciate you trying to stay calm but I doubt having watched it once makes you any more of a midwife than me.”
“ Someone once told me the second kid is easier though?”
Sole groaned and shot him a vicious look. “Sure as hell doesn’t feel like it.”
“ Okay, you’ve got this. I’ve got you. This baby is gonna be come out you’ll forget about all the bad stuff. Start with those puffy breathy things.”
“ Puffy breathy things?”
“ ‘C mon you know what I mean. ”
MacCready focussed on her, showing to be much calmer than she was. However she noticed some tears welling up in his eyes.
“ You’re gonna be fine. “ He grabbed her hand while she was still puffing.
“ It’s always nice to see you this emotional, MacCready. “ She was expecting an excuse, from the dusty place to a full-blown twig in his eye. Perhaps onion-cutting ninja’s for the occasion.
“  I’m about to see my second child. This …  This is a big deal all right? You’ve done so much for me. You’ve given my son his life back, you’ve given me my life back and now you’re bringing another one into this world. And I get to raise them with you. Damnit Sole, I love you.”
“ No cursing.” She squeezed his hand at another contraction.
“ Yeah you’re gonna have to let go cause I gotta get there now though.”

Deacon:

“ Ohkay… well I used to be a nurse once upon a time, all the doctor’s fancied me… probably because of the blonde wig and my long legs. “
“ Deacon, this is really not the time.”
“ I could be telling you the same thing.” She shot him the kind of look that made him count his lucky stars for her currently not being capable of fighting him because she would’ve handed him his ass. She hissed at him; “Look I know humor is your way of dealing with stressful situations and usually I am all for it. But not. Now.”
Deacon couldn’t supress a wide grin. “Well I helped get it in there I suppose I can help gettin’ it out.”
“ I swear if you’re gonna keep blurting out ‘funny’ shit you’re gonna make me a single mother.” Deacon was still smiling.
“ That would be a crying shame, especially because you would be dealing with the crying. Actually, maybe that’s preferable, then I get some peace and quiet.’
“ Really, Deacon? That’s your reaction? Don’t you think it’s a bit early for bad dad jokes?”
“ No. Panic. I would say panic is my reaction. This is the scariest thing I’ve ever had to deal with. Feel better knowing that? What do you suggest we do?”
“ Get some things ready and please, please don’t do the fake being hurt thing when I yell insults at you because my sense of self-control is at an all-time low.”
“ Gotcha, By the way, you’re doing great, keep up the pushing.”
Sole groaned. “Less peptalk more getting your kid out because just like their dad it loves to get me stressed out.”
“ Aww, they take after me already.”
“ Deacon, shut the hell up and get my pants off.” He opened his mouth again when Sole yelled ‘NO innuendoes.”

Gage:
Gage’s eyes widened… “ Come again? This is some sort of bad joke right? Here?”
Sole shook their head. “ Not the kind of thing I joke about.” Sole doubled over, hand on her belly, at another contraction. “Some help’d be nice”
He sighed and picked her up. “ Well shit boss, I’m not prepared for this.”
“ Should’ve thought about that before you got me knocked up Gage.”
He smiled a little.“ That’s what you get for always taking what you want I guess.”
“ Oh please, if you had taken anything without my say-so you wouldn’t be breathin’ anymore. For now you’re gonna have to take off that armour and make sure you get this kid out safely.” Gage sighed. “I didn’t sign up for the getting it out part.”
“ And I didn’t sign up for defeating your Overseer with a squirt gun, shit happens. We need to get this child out safely.”
The look on Gage’s face shifted as he got out some clean water. Shit, what else did he need for this. Sole noticed.
“ Wait… is that concern Gage?”
“ I… No.”
“ It actually easy, that I’d live the day to see this.”
“ This is my kid too ya know. I don’t want it to have the kind of fucked up life I’ve had, but it’d be a good start if it comes out kicking and screaming. But cause someone refused to stay put I’ve gotta help you get my kid out.”
“  Say whatever you want, I’ve found a soft spot in that cold cold heart anyway.“ Sole winked before another contraction plastered a look of pain on her face again.
“ I’ll guide ya through it Gage. But I can’t hold your hand through this cause  you’re gonna need them. So get something to put this baby on.” She decided that the last thing she had to do now is get insecure, wouldn’t help either of ‘em.
“Damn boss, you’re somethin’ else. Fuck it, let’s do this.”

Hancock:

“ Looks like this kid takes after their dad, life’s to the fast and the rebellious. “
“ Yeah, high five it when it gets out but help me first.” Hancock looked rather happy until he noticed just how much pain Sole was in.
“ You alright?” Sole looked at them. If looks could kill…
“ And people say there are no stupid questions.” She folded double, grabbing at her abdomen. “ This hurts like hell.” He guided her to the bed and let her lay down on it.
“ I’d give ya some chems but that’d be bad for the baby.”
“ No kidding, I’m not having any of that filth now regardless Hancock.”
“ Guess we can’t make it to Diamond City anymore? I was looking forward to finding out whether they’d really let me in with you by my side, me being the father and all that.”
“ Hancock, focus. No small talk. I could use some help getting my pants off.”
“ Ah, just what you said when we conceived the little one. Good times.” Hancock winked. Sole would laugh if the contractions weren’t hurting quite as much as they were. “
“ Alright… let’s fuck this shit up.” Sole slit her eyes. “Let’s fuck this shit up? Seriously? Look I know you’re a man and all but I speak from experience when I say this is not that easy.”
“ You’ve been dating a me for a while now darling, in comparison this is gonna be a freakin’ breeze. You’re a fucking superhero and I love you. Now, lay back, push and let’s hope this baby gets their looks from mommy.”

Maxson:
Maxson didn’t waste any time and picked her up. He put her down on the bed gently and seemed extremely calm.
“ Maxson, are you even processing what I just said?”
“ I know precisely what I am doing and  yes I have. We have this under control.”
Sole groaned in pain. “ Speak for yourself … the pain is getting worse.”
Maxson got out a wide array of things he needed to deliver the baby .
“ You do what I tell you what I tell you and there ought to be no issues.”
Sole scoffed. “Sure, cause you know all about babies. Maxson, with all do respect, this is not exactly the same as commanding an army.”
 Sole clenched her teeth and dug her nails into what was left of the matress on the bed before screaming out. Maxson rushed over and for a moment his facade cracked, he was worried about her, brushing some hair out of her face.
 “ Are you alright?”
Sole grimaced. “ Hardly. What happened to having everything under control?”
“ Our child will be safe, it’s you I am concerned about.”
“ What makes you so sure Maxson?”
“ I asked Cade what I would need to help you deliver this child if he wasn’t nearby. I have prepared for this potentially happening and have all the required equipment at the ready.” Sole screamed again, he grabbed her hand.
“ I swear I will protect you and this child. I will send a message to the Brotherhood after this and they will come pick us up in a ventibird. And then you will rest.” Sole grinned. “Never listened before.”
“ I’ll lock you up if I have to, I care more about your safety than about some missions.”
“ You mean you love me more than the Brotherhood? That’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever said to me.” She screamed again and grabbed his hand, he didn’t even flinch as she squeezed as hard as she could.
“ I love you and this child more than anything. Now focus on doing this. You are my goddamn Sentinel for a damn good reason, you can do anything. That includes this. Just… whatever you do stay with me.”

Kent:
 “I really don’t think this is the time. I mean…”
Sole grimaced. “ I don’t think this kid cares about whether it’s the time for it.”
Kent supported Sole and put her on the bed.  “ Are you sure we can’t make it to Diamond City?”
“ On the list of things not even the Silver Shroud can do: delaying childbirth.”  Kent looked around nervously. “Okay… okay. What should I do.”
“ Stop looking so panicked for starters? Just do as I say and this will be fine.”

Preston:
“ We’re having this baby now? Really?” Preston could hardly hide the happiness and excitement on his face when it dawned on him that the circumstances were hardly ideal for someone to give birth. He looked around. They were in a small shack in the middle of nowhere… panic crept up on him. He looked at Sole who seemed very busy with putting on a brave face but he knew when someone was scared. He picked her up, knowing he had to be the strong one. She had enough on her mind now. “ I got you. This baby is going to be fine.” He gently put her down on the bed in the hut.
“ I was hoping for better circumstances but at least it isn’t raining, right?”  He held her hand.
“ This is not the first time I’ve helped someone getting a baby out in the world by the way.” Sole laughed a little, very faintly because of the pain.
“ You mean you’ve got a bunch of kids running around?”  He laughed and brushed some hair out of her face and helped her take off her pants and get a little more comfortable. “ No, but we do a lot in the Commonwealth. There was once a pregnant lady among the people we saved. The stress made her go into labour sooner than expected. But the baby pulled through.” Knowing that he had done this kind of thing before soothed her  a little.
“ I’m going to look for things we can use. Some clean cloth, water,… You’re going to have to take your top off too I’m afraid. Saved the mother. The child’s grandmother was with us and she told us it could stop the bleeding faster. I’ll get you a blanked though.” Sole nodded.
“ You’re going to be okay. I promise.”

Nick:
Nick immediately focused on getting Sole calm and comfortable on the cot in the hut. “ Listen to me, kid. You can do this. We’re going to get this baby out safely do you hear me?” Sole nodded, still biting down on her lower teeth.
“ I guess it’s gonna have to come out somehow.” She smiled a little but still looked panicked. What if something went wrong? They first thought there were complications with Shaun’s birth as well but it quickly turned out to be a false alarm, she might not be as lucky this time.
“ The first thing you need to do is slow your breathing, relax.”
“ Easy for you to say.” The pain of the contractions wasn’t getting much better. He took off his coat and put it underneath Sole.
“ That’s gonna be messed up if this kid when the baby comes out Nick. Blood doesn’t wash out easily.”
“ Do you honestly think I give a damn? This is our child. I’m going to try to get you comfortable.” He did as much as he could to make Sole lay down in a comfortable position.
“ It’s not my comfort I’m worried about.” Nick sat down next to her and grabbed her by the back of her neck until his forehead touched hers. “ First of all; I love you. Second; when I say push you’ll have to push. I will support the baby’s head and make sure they’re breathing, okay?” Sole nodded. Nick planted a kiss on her lips. “ Everything is going to be alright. You’re the best thing that ever happened to me, I will not lose you or this baby”

Sturges;
Sturges’ eyes widened. “Oh… okay, no need to panic we can do this.” Sole grimaced. “ I’m not so sure about that.”
“ Hey this is nature, you’ll be fine. I’m right here, I won’t let anything happen to you or to our baby.” He smiled at her in such a proud way that her heart melted a little.
“ This is not exactly how I wanted things to go down sturges.”
“ Hey, look at me alright? You’ve got this. You’re a badass, I’ve seen you save so many people and survive against all odds, even if you can’t properly install a tap. This baby is going to conquer the world with a mom like you. Everything’s gonna be okay. I’m gonna get something to wrap the baby into, okay? Lay down and try that breathing thing.” He walked to his backpack but immediately walked back over to her and brushed some hair out of her face. “ I forgot to say one more thing… I love you.”

X6-88:
“ The nearest point we can transport to the Institute is 5 minutes away. I suggest we start moving.”
“ I’m not gonna make it there.”
“ You are.” He lifted Sole up and carried her to the place they were supposed to be. X6 seemed to be convinced he had it all under control although he looked more stressed than Sole had ever seen him. He barely managed to get Sole to a point where she could be transported to the Institute and once there started yelling orders at each and every doctor. As they frowned at him for presuming he, as a synth, had the audacity to doing so Sole yelled that he was officially her second and would be obeyed. Especially in these circumstances.
He continued his orders and Sole noticed a hint of a smile. Someone stood beside her and urged her to calm her breathing to delay the birth a little. X6 soon sat beside her, holding her hand.
“ I’d hardly considered you the sentimental type.”
“ I am aware of the fact that squeezing someone’s hand aids them in getting the focus off the pain to some extent.” With her next contraction she squeezed again, hard. Part of her didn’t give a damn but she looked at X6 regardless, trying to figure out if she hadn’t hurt him.
“ I can take it. Do whatever you need to do.”

“What’s your ideal type?” Eric, one of the hosts of After School Club, asked Mark.

“Y/N,” he admitted. The other GOT7 members exchanged looks, and Eric laughed – but then his smile faltered when he realized Mark was serious.

“Wait, really? Y/N? You know the stories about her, right? What, are you looking for trouble or something?”

Now it was Mark’s turn to smile. “Definitely.”

Y/N’s POV

“Y/N, you’re drooling on me.”

You jerked awake at Jia’s voice and sat up straight in your seat, wiping your mouth and smearing your lipstick in the process. Jia sighed and rummaged through her bag for a lipstick tube, then grabbed your disoriented face and applied a fresh coat for you. You weren’t even surprised that she had your exact shade ready.

“Thanks,” you grinned when she finished, and she shot you a disapproving look.

“You knew we had an important meeting today, Y/N, and yet you only came back to the dorm at three in the morning? This is getting ridiculous.”

“Yeah, yeah,” you waved away her fretting. Jia was the leader of 7/11 and more of a mom to you than your own mother. You winced at the thought and dropped your head on your crossed arms resting on the mahogany table. Why, for the love of god, did Kevin have to schedule these meetings at fucking six in the morning? What kind of hell spawn was actually fully conscious at this hour?

On Jia’s other side sat the other two members of your group, Lucy – the maknae, and Scarlett – the lead vocalist. Scarlett’s real name was Sooyoung, but since SNSD already had a member with that name, your Sooyoung had adopted this stage name.

The two of them were engrossed in their phones, Jia was now organizing her purse, and you closed your eyes again, regretting your life choices.

The office room that you were all in was fancy, the kind of room you could imagine business negotiations taking place, and the air-conditioning was such a relief from the heat of the outside world that you were just beginning to drift off again when Kevin’s nasally voice cut through your peace.

“Right this way, boys,” you heard him say, and you groaned into your arm. Maybe later tonight you would do a cover of Ain’t Not Rest for the Wicked for your SoundCloud. Maybe tonight you would actually get some sleep like a normal human. You buried your face and tried to shut out the world – and then your eyes flew open when it hit you. His scent. American cologne and laundry detergent.

Mark Tuan.

Fuck.

This is part of my submission for Nalu Week 2017. I do not own Fairy Tail, Hiro Mashima does.

Rated: T for foul language, slight violence, and slightly suggestive themes.

Prompt: Mask

Pairing: Natsu/Lucy (Nalu)

Words: 9.8K

Summary: Lucy takes revenge to a whole new level when she comes face to face with the elusive ‘Salamander’, who is making a name for himself as Fiore’s newest bank robber. Modern AU, Humor/Romance

Read on FF.net or AO3.

Disclaimer: I don’t know much about banks. Most of my information came from the internet, so I apologize if any of this is inaccurate.

Lucy slammed her eyes shut in aggravation as she listened to her father ramble over the phone. She tried to cut in three times to tell him her opinion, but he always raised his voice so he could talk over her. After the last attempt, she gave up, letting him talk until his heart’s content.

“The experience you gain today will help you when you get to where I am. Knowing the ins and outs of the business will-”

Lucy stopped listening, holding her phone away from her ear far enough so she couldn’t hear exactly what he was saying, but close enough that she could jump in when he stopped talking.

Her father was hellbent on her staying on as a teller at the bank. It all started when she said she was thinking of taking off a few days a week to focus on writing. Apparently, her father thought that meant she was quitting, so he started ranting about the benefits of working up the line, gaining this experience, and blah blah blah.

Lucy had heard his speech a million times. He told it to her so much she could recite it back to him, but of course he would only call her a smart aleck and tell her she needed to learn some manners.

His speech was wasted though. Lucy had no intentions of staying with the bank, at least not for the rest of her life. She wanted to be an author, to write mysteries and adventures. When she told her father that, he laughed at the idea.

“You need a real job,” he would say. “Who’s going to take over the business when I retire?”

Lucy didn’t know, but she did know it wasn’t going to be her. She had plans for her life, and they didn’t involve counting money all day. She needed excitement!

Lucy stole a peek at her clock, frowning when she saw the time. Risking death by boredom, she put her phone against her ear to talk to her father.

“-and another thing. Did you know-”

“Hey! You’ll have to tell me some other time. I’m going to be late for work.”

“Well that’s not very responsible of you. How will it look having you show up late?”

“I’m guessing not good,” she said, proud of herself for keeping her voice calm despite her growing aggravation. Before he could monopolize the conversation again, she asked, “Can you just think about what I said. I would only need two more days off a week. That shouldn’t cause any problems. Plus, I can afford to take that time off.”

“I’m not concerned about money!” her father yelled, causing her eyes to narrow. “I’m concerned about your lack of responsibility. You are a Heartfilia. You have to-”

“Sorry! Gotta go!” Lucy cut him off before hanging up her phone, sighing when she saw her screen turn black. She pressed a hand to her forehead, cooling herself off. She always got worked up talking to her father. He was as hard-headed as they come.

With a long sigh, Lucy composed herself before heading out the door. She had work soon. Even if she hated her job and disliked her father for making her work there -he threatened to pull her college fund if she quit her job, she still didn’t want to make a bad impression there. Like her father said, she was still a Heartfilia.

52: “ Can we cuddle? ”

73: “ Oh, Are you ticklish? ”

151: “ I can’t feel my legs! ”

184: “ Can I touch you? ”

Natsu sat in the center of the sofa, one of Lucy’s books perched on his knee as he flipped through it absentmindedly. Lucy was always weird about him reading her stuff, and so he tried to wait until at least the third draft before sneaking a look at it. Lucy had been in a rut, however, and so Natsu was forced to reread her previous chapters to fend off his boredom.

Magnolia was all but shut down under the heavy thunderstorm outside, Lucy and Natsu trapped in her apartment on Strawberry Street as it had been closer than the guild. She had sent a lacrima message to the guild, letting everyone know her and Natsu were safe but wouldn’t be going to the guild that day. Happy had been especially upset, needing to be talked down from flying through the storm by Lucy. Natsu had been forced to bribe the exceed with the promise of all of Natsu’s catch next time they went fishing.

Natsu sighed loudly, leaning his head against the back of Lucy’s sofa and closing his eyes. She had been drying off for forever, and Natsu didn’t understand why he couldn’t have just dried her off himself. Lucy was so weird she had squawked and turned bright red at his offer, and now she was wasting time drying her hair when they could be playing cards.

A loud boom outside caught Natsu’s attention, the thunder harsh and sudden when he wasn’t watching the flashes of lighting outside the window. The lights flickered overhead, Natsu mentally threatening them if they went out. Lucy got all antsy in the dark with him, which bothered Natsu. She knew he would never try anything, didn’t she?

Besides, it wasn’t like Lucy was even aware of how Natsu felt.

Natsu cocked his head, tracking the soft padding of Lucy’s socked feet walking towards him.

Another crack of thunder rang in the sky, and Natsu opened his eyes with a frown when he sensed Lucy tense beside him. She looked pale, half dried hair thrown in a messy braid and large shirt trailing to her mid thigh.

“Can we cuddle?” Lucy asked, voice timid as she looked at her hands clasped in front of her. Natsu opened his mouth to ask her why she wanted to cuddle when a third boom shook the small apartment, Lucy flinching and curling into herself at the noise.

“Course, weirdo.” Natsu said instead, grinning at her easily. She smiled at him, shy and thankful in response as she slipped onto the couch beside him. Natsu shifted them around, his back now tucked into the corner of the couch and Lucy curled under his arm. She squeaked and pressed into his side firmly when the power shut off, the room falling into pitch blackness while the sky roared.

Natsu ran a comforting hand over Lucy’s back, soothing her small shakes as he tried to think. It had never occurred to Natsu that Lucy might be afraid of thunderstorms, and frankly he didn’t know what to say.

“You, er, alright, Luce?” Natsu asked, watching her face in the dark. The pale light coming from the window behind them was all Natsu needed to easily see in the room, but obviously from the unfocused expression she wore it wasn’t enough for Lucy.

“I’m fine Natsu. Just… don’t like thunder.” Lucy tried to brush off, but another loud crack of thunder sent her head burrowing into Natsu’s chest in fear.

“I think it’s more than a little dislike there, Luce.” Natsu commented dryly, tightening his arm around her and pulling her closer as he spoke.

“Oh shut up.” Lucy exhaled, hand relaxing as she bickered with Natsu. He grinned to himself, proud his plan had worked. He tensed as he sensed the change in the atmosphere, squeezing Lucy tight as a flash of lightning lit up the room, quickly followed by the booming thunder. Natsu looked over her face, tracing the tired pinching and tenseness she held on her face, thinking she was concealed by the dark.

How would the chocobros react if you fell asleep in the regalia on long trips and like subconsciously just kinda snuggled closer to them? I just love the chocobros and I need some FLUFF in my life!

The noise I made should not have came from a human. (ノ^ヮ^)ノ*:・゚✧  FLUFF YEAH!

(I at first read as ‘me’ specifically and was like. They’re just ‘Put her on the back like luggage’ than I read ‘What if I fell?’ and I was like I would die!)

~~~~~~
Noctis-
Noctis flinched, he had just rested his eyes, when he suddenly felt a pressure against his right shoulder, and something wrap around his arm. Blue eyes opened, as he turned away from the window to see the top of your head, one of your arms snaked around his own.
The young man shifted slightly,only to have you mutter softly, nuzzling your head into his shoulder, your hold on him relaxing softly after a quick flinch. He held his breath hoping not to wake you, yet when you didn’t move any further than the nuzzle to his shoulder, the Prince realized that you were still very much asleep.
Moving off the door, Noctis, adjusted, all the while, linking his hand within your own, as he rested his cheek against the top of your head. As he drifted back to sleep, he couldn’t help but smile, your shampoo smelled amazing, or maybe it was you.  Either way it brought the man comfort.
~~~~~

Prompto-

Prompto immediately flustered, his mind bouncing around, ‘What do! What do!’ He didn’t expect this, why did he agree to trade seats with Noct? Right, Noct’s knee was acting up, so he needed the extra room to stretch out.

Yet now he was currently in the backseat, a panicked blush over his freckles, as you laid against him. Your head resting against his shoulder, your hand resting against his thigh, gripping onto the denim cheetah, leopard, ugh he couldn’t even remember what type of cat print he had on his pants.

He went to adjust, only for you to moan softly, before shifting again, pulling yourself even further into the man. It took everything in Prompto to not flail in panic, his back straighten, he couldn’t disturb you, his hands placed in his lap, as he stared at the back of Ignis’ head. He would not disturb your sleep!

“Prompto are you okay?” You called, upon your next rest stop break, the poor guy was holding his back, and limping.

“Yeah, no prob, my arm and leg’s just asleep.”  Prompto replied, only to squeak as you moved over, wrapping your arm around his waist.

“Lean on me, somehow I figure this is my fault.”

~~~~~
Gladiolus-
Gladiolus was so engrossed in his book that he almost didn’t even notice the weight against his left bicep, until you shifted and your hair tickled his arm. Looking over he notice, your eyes fluttering to stay awake, only to watch you lose the fight.
Nudging your shoulder slightly, Gladiolus watched you immediately sit up, he didn’t mean to push you away. Placing his book down, the man reached his arm around your shoulder, watching as your sleepy mind lead you into his side. Believing you to get a knot in your neck from the strange position, Gladiolus moved his hand lower,wrapping it underneath you, before pulling you into his lap.
You let out an embarrassing squeak, before turning your head up to the man, only to feel a hand on your back, rubbing soft circles.
“Go back to sleep.”
You were surprised the man was as comfy as he was, and the warmth from his chest and beating of his heart was surprisingly very calming. Closing your eyes you immediately dozed off.
~~~~~

Ignis-

Ignis sighed heavily, you all had been stuck in the car for the last 15 minutes due to the torrential downpour, if anything he knew that you would all end up more than likely staying here for another hour if not more.

“Yeah, I dont think we’re goin anywhere for a while Noct.” Prompto stated, pointing toward his phone, showing the large rain storm.

Ignis leaned against the back window of the Regalia, he and Noctis couldn’t even switch out, he knew that he could handle this weather, but the split second it took for them to shift would result in both of them being drenched.

“Than it may be best if we all rest.” Ignis stated, as he removed his glasses, he was already getting a headache due to not drinking his 2nd cup of Ebony, only to turn as your head dropped against his shoulder.

Turning those sage eyes over to you, Ignis had noticed that you had been dozing all morning, having not gotten a lot of sleep the night before. Only for you to pass out the moment you all were trapped in the car, now it seemed your body was trying to get comfortable between the two tall men in the back seat.

Moving his glasses to his left hand, the man wrapped his right arm around your shoulders, allowing you to rest against his side. A small smile appearing on his face, as you shuffled closer, your fingers wrapping around the bottom of his suit jacket.

Pairing: Nalu

Rating: K+

Summary: In a world where meeting your Soulmate is what brings colour to your world (quite literally), Lucy is an anomaly. She is very much in love, and very content, but can see only in greys.  That is, until someone else does colour her world. A Nalu not-quite-a-Soulmate-AU Soulmate AU one-shot.

Genre: Romance, hurt and comfort

Notes: A.k.a where I continue indulging in my guilty pleasure of messing around with popular tropes. A super big shoutout to @x-benihime for her support and all her Post Its (I’m keeping ‘em)

‘The sky was a wonderful azure, one as clear as her beautiful auburn orbs.’

Lucy stifled the need to roll her eyes. Again.

What did azure or auburn translate to anyway?

After pausing a beat, she quickly stole a glance of the sky outside the window of the train she was in, before mentally telling herself off for actually checking.

It had been as it always had - a nice, light, calming grey. She hadn’t met her supposed “Soulmate” yet, after all.

Not that she really cared.

Lucy smiled softly at that thought. She didn’t really care, because she was in love anyway. And while she couldn’t see greens and yellows, he had brought colour to her life in every other way that mattered.

She was in love, and she was loved back.

‘Natsu,' she mused, absently toying with the fairy shaped locket around her neck.

Their first meeting was rather unceremonious. They were classmates in college, and that had been the only thing they had in common. They were in different groups of friends, different clubs, even had different ideas of what was fun.

They had absolutely no reason to actually meet.

And so they didn’t – not really.

Not until they found themselves landing the same internship. She to report, him as the cameraman - the both of them began bonding over their cranky boss and a shared determination to tell stories, and tell them well.

She began packing him lunches when he couldn’t afford food from the canteen.

He would ensure he dropped her home on particularly late nights.

Before they knew it, they were best friends.

She knew his tastes, could predict his change in mood and was the only other person his pet cat Happy got along with.

He knew her routine, her favourite books and just how she liked her coffee depending on the time of day.

They quit the internship together, helped find each other new jobs.

She was there for him when news of his missing father having passed away reached him.

He was the person who helped her run away from her abusive home.

Moving in together seemed natural - as very platonic roommates of course.

Though somewhere in all the making and cleaning messes, playing with Happy, cooking together, tucking each other in bed and winter-time cuddles, their feelings changed, evolved. Platonic didn’t fit anymore.

One night, sitting on their balcony and under the stars they realised why.

“I think I love you,” he had said, as soon as the thought occurred to him.

The clarity those words brought was everything Lucy’s heart had been searching for. She thanked him for it with their first kiss.

It wasn’t short, nor very gentle. And when they parted – only for need of air – Lucy found herself lost in his wide eyes.

Wondering just what colour they really were.

Fairy Tail Pranks ❤️️

Summary: A Valentine’s Day special based on the show “Impractical Jokers”. Natsu, Gray, Gajeel, and Loke love their jobs. They get to go around pulling pranks on people and each other all while earning a paycheck. It seemed like a normal day on the job, but one prank ends up changing Natsu’s life forever when he runs into a special woman at the park.

Rated: T for foul language.

Pairing: Natsu/Lucy

Genre: Hurt/Comfort, Romance, & Humor.

Fairy Tail Pranks

“So your friend,” Loke started, running a hand through his short orange hair, “is she hot?”

“She’s engaged,” Levy said, wanting to crush whatever hopes the playboy had of hitting on her old college roommate in one blow. “Happily, I might add, judging by her tone when I talked to her.”

“Sooo,” he grinned, “what you’re saying is she’s not married yet?”

Levy could only drag a hand over her face in frustration. “She’s unavailable to you, and any other man for that matter.” She turned to face Jellal, seeing he finishing up a conversation with the sound crew. “Change of plans. Loke can’t prank Lucy tomorrow.”

“What?” Loke’s jaw dropped, shoulders going slack. “But I wanted to meet her!”

“Yeah, and I don’t want her getting hit on by a pervert!” Levy reasoned, then spoke to Jellal. “Throw someone like Gray or Natsu on her prank.”

“Why not Gajeel?” Jellal asked, taking a sip of his coffee.

“Lucy’s already met Gajeel. We all went to college together, so she’ll recognize him,” Levy explained. “It has to be a guy she doesn’t know,” she cast a glare over her shoulder at Loke, “but I don’t want her getting hit on.”

“Fair enough,” Jellal nodded. “I’ll probably send Gray.”

“Sounds good,” Levy smiled, excited to see Lucy’s expression tomorrow. Gray was married already, but his wife was back in their hometown holding down the fort. There was no way Gray would hit on her friend.

Levy McGarden worked with her boyfriend, Gajeel, and friends for a TV show called ‘Fairy Tail Pranks’. The show was fairly new, only started up two years ago. They were now back in Levy’s hometown where her old friend still lived. She hadn’t seen the beautiful woman known as Lucy Heartfilia in years, so she was excited for a reunion.

Only the reunion wouldn’t go as planned.

Lauren & Lucy - Just Friends?

Lauren Jauregui and Lucy Vives cause constant uproars within the Harmonizer fandom due to speculation that the two are in a more than friends relationship. With the majority of the fandom shipping Camren, it’s easy to see that their favourite duo is being threatened by Laucy, the ship name given to Lauren and Lucy. In this post we take a look at Lauren and Lucy’s relationship from the beginning and how it developed - and we look to see if they are really dating - or not.

The two have been friends since before Lauren auditioned for the X Factor and became part of one of the biggest girl groups in the world.

Lucy was a prominent figure in Lauren’s life for a while after she became famous. She even hung out with Camila and the other members of Fifth Harmony.

For a while afterwards, it seemed that Lucy was off the scenes, for some reason or the other. It seemed that she and Lauren had drifted apart.

Lucy even tweeted this towards the end of 2014, when her and Lauren hadn’t hung out for quite some while. It didn’t seem as though they weren’t on agreeable terms, just simply the fact that life had gotten in the way of their friendship. Though they did hang out during 2013/2014, it wasn’t as much as now.

But towards the end of 2015 / beginning of 2016 Lucy was back on the scene. Their friendship seemed back on for good, and stronger than ever. They were first spotted at the airport where they were allegedly mobbed, a story you can read about here. In this video here you can see that Lucy clearly puts her arm around Lauren and drags her away from the chaos that fans were causing in the airport.  This is one of the many spottings of Laucy together.

Then, texts and pictures of Laucy together at Lucy’s college together emerged and the person in the texts claimed that Lauren was dating Lucy -

Lucy even commented on the photo which was posted by a fan account on Instagram, in which she seemed extremely angry as her privacy had been breached:

Furthermore, when Lauren, Dinah and Normani went to get piercings together, they snapchatted the encounter and it appeared that Lauren had a picture of Lucy as her background…. You can watch the video from from 2:43 here. Who puts their “friend” as their phone background?….Now if this was Camren, and Lauren had a picture of Camila as her background… Well we’d never hear the end of it.

Let’s not forget the birthday posts that Lauren made for Lucy and the “adventure” they had to celebrate.

And then they went to Coachella together and well…speculation about the two dating was getting more and more hype.

You can watch the videos of them at Coachella together, here and here which Lauren posted on her Instagram. Just two friends at Coachella together? Probably.

They were also spotted in London together, leaving the hotel together, Lucy holding Nala.

This is also where the alleged Camren kiss on the cheek occurred - which you can watch here. So even though Lauren and Lucy are spotted toegther in London, Lucy holding Nala nonetheless, the Camren “kiss” made people dismiss Laucy.

When the 7/27 Tour begun in South America, Lucy was with Lauren and she was spotted at the airport and together in other places a lot.

Lucy at the airport in Chile

(Fan taken photos of Lucy at the airport with the rest of 5H on their way to a country in South America for the tour)

Then a video emerged of Lucy at the same airport at the same time saying that 1000 hands is her favourite song on the album. You can watch here. Now, this strikes me as odd simply because Camren shippers often say that 1000 hands is Camila and Lauren’s song…but what does it mean that Lucy said it’s her favourite? I’ll let you think about that.

This photo of them - on closer inspection it looks as though their fingers are intertwined..

The alleged Laucy kiss…

Lauren’s post about her birthday

Spotted at a Fifth Harmony concert on June 26th -

Lauren smirking/smiling at Lucy during Big Bad Wolf (1)

Watch here and read this.

And then again, more recently, Lucy was in the crowd again, and a bra was thrown at Lauren from the direction of Lucy. (2)

Lucy at the concert, laughing/blushing whilst Lauren performs.

Wearing the same shirt:

Lauren saying she would go to Loyola University in New Orleans, the same one that Lucy attends.

Then on National Girlfriend day Lauren posted this

There are many more spottings of Lauren and Lucy together but I think for now we get the point. Now I didn’t want this post to become something that would out Lauren and Lucy or a theory post because I don’t particularly ship them romantically. I just wanted to provide you an alternative to the multitudes of Camren theories. And in reality, if half of these things had happened with Lauren and Camila, the romance rumours would have been everywhere.

The purpose of this post is to show you the friendship between Lauren and Lucy. If we gather everything in this post plus some of the other stuff, it’s clear to me that Lauren and Lucy are very close friends. It’s immature of any of us to assume that they’re in a relationship simply because it’s disrespectful.

A lot of Camren shippers and other Harmonizers are also saying that Lauren and Lucy are in a PR contract so that Lucy has a large platform when she releases her debut single and album.

Whilst it does seem believable that Lauren and Lucy may be under such a contract, I find it hard to believe nonetheless. Why? Because Lucy is the daughter of Carlos Vives a renowned singer in Latin America. She already has a platform and has performed with her father on stage. Furthermore, Lauren is always refuting Camren rumours for one of two reasons. Either because she personally doesn’t like Camila or because she doesn’t want people to say that she’s interested in girls. This doesn’t mean she’s homophobic in anyway at all, it simply means that she is uncomfortable with people saying wrongful things about her. Same as if she were being shipped with a guy and she wasn’t straight. So why would Lauren go into an agreement to be in a PR relationship with Lucy if it means she’ll have an identity crisis? Would she simply indulge in something that is untrue to get away from Camren rumours? I don’t think she would because the recent Camren moment in That’s My Girl’s music video seems to say otherwise.

Although it is true that Lucy has gained plenty of fans from the Harmonizer fandom, it’s silly to think that it was planned. What about Keana Marie, another close friend of Lauren’s? She’s also gained a fair share of fans because of her association and friendship with Lauren.

Whilst I’m generally reaching the conclusion that Lauren and Lucy are no more than friends, I find myself unable to shake the fact that Lauren may use Lucy to get rid of Camren rumours. Not in a mean, horrible way but in the way that she posts tons of pictures with her and Lucy and is generally open about her friendship with Lucy because she’s come to the realisation that the fandom is always going to ship her with a girl, so she’d rather be shipped with someone whom she actually is close with. I’m not saying that Lauren and Camila aren’t friends, but their initial closeness has disappeared. Camren shippers often bash Lauren too, so it isn’t surprising why she gets mad at them a lot. For now, all the evidence suggests that Lauren and Lucy are friends. They could be more, but we don’t know and we don’t want to assume.

The amount of time Lauren and Lucy spend together is one of the factors that people use to fuel the idea that they are dating one another. But if Lauren’s travelling all the time, she barely gets to see her friends. And if her and Lucy are really close, it would make sense that Lucy visits her friend often.

I really wanted to make a Laucy post just to sump up everything about them with no exact direction of where my thoughts are simply because I didn’t want to be anything like a Camren shipper. So take what you want from this post, it’s yours now.

PLEASE TELL ME ALL UR ALEX X MAGGIE X LUCY HEADCANONS PLZ

So the thing no one knew is that Lucy and Maggie actually have some history. Some “we met at a bar and had a drunken one night stand that grew into a casual friendship with occasional boning” type history.

It was never anything serious; Maggie fears commitment more than death and Lucy always seemed hung up on someone from her past, but they stayed in contact and actually talked about things, and considering how emotionally stunted and work-obsessed they both are their dynamic is surprisingly healthy.

One day Maggie gets a call letting her know Lucy will be in town for a week on ‘business’ (she’s never said what she does but Maggie knows it’s federal) and so Maggie invites her out for drinks. She takes her to the alien bar, because Maggie knows who her father is and the prejudices she’s struggled with and honestly Maggie kind of wants to see if She is any more comfortable with this sort of thing. And luckily for all, Lucy is. She’s unfazed by the alien nature of the bar and actually seems to know a few of its inhabitants. Lucy looks good, she seems healthier and happier than she was the last time they met. Maggie feels her heart swell a little at the thought.

And so they sit and they talk about what’s going on in their lives and it only takes a few drinks for Lucy to start nervously talking about someone she’s gonna see in town soon and Maggie realizes this is who she’s always suspected existed, the mysterious person Lucy is hung up on.

“I’m in a much better place now and it’s just made me realize some things I think I was ignoring before,” she says.

“God, realizing is the worst,” Maggie says, smirking into her bottle as she takes another long drink. Lucy laughs and runs her fingers through her hair nervously.

“Tell me about it. Either way, I’ve got to figure out what to do now that I know there’re feelings there.”

“Ask her out. Or just kind of, you know,” she makes eyes at Lucy, holds her pointer and middle finger up in a V, flicks her tongue suggestively. Lucy snorts her beer so hard a little comes out of her nose.

“Fuck, Sawyer,” Lucy chokes through her laughter, “at least wait until I’m done drinking.”

“I’m just saying! Try asking her if she wants to come watch you work out. I’ve seen those guns in actions, that line would work on me.”

“Anything would work on you,” Lucy teases before dodging Maggie’s indignant smack. “Besides, it wouldn’t be like that with her. I don’t think I could just be with her, you know? without it being a forever kind of thing.”

Maggie’s stomach hurts a little at that, which only pisses her off. She’s always known what they were to each other and it’s ridiculous to be bothered by this. The benefit of being with someone like Lucy is how loose and casual it can be. So what if Lucy gets moon-eyes thinking about some other girl? Maggie isn’t looking for a forever kind of thing and Lucy knows that. Besides, it’s not like Maggie isn’t still drinking away her thoughts of Alex.

And great, now she’s thinking about Alex again. First she gets fuzzy thinking about Lucy and now she’s got Danvers back in the foreground where she seems to always lurk, like a constant blanket of affection and guilt that weighs down Maggie’s every moment. This is really why Maggie doesn’t do relationships or, hell, even feelings really. All they do is make everything hurt and Maggie’s had enough hurt for one lifetime, thanks.

And speak of the devil herself, in walks Alex Danvers. She’s got on those tight jeans and that leather jacket and god, Maggie wishes she wasn’t such a fuck up that Alex needs to avoid because there’s nothing she wants more than to run her hands under that jacket.

She’s so caught in her gawking that she doesn’t even notice Lucy has frozen up beside her; all she can focus on is the small little smile Alex is sending her way, a smile that shifts into a shocked, full blown grin when she sees who Maggie is sitting with.

“Oh my god, Lucy?”

Maggie can hear the sharp exhale from Lucy and it sort of sounds like maybe she’s been holding her breath this whole time, waiting to be noticed.

“Hey, Alex,” Lucy says in a voice so soft and affectionate Maggie almost does a double take. Lucy’s just staring at Alex as she approaches and her eyes are shining like she’s looking at a star come to life.

Alex scoops Lucy up into a hug that makes her squeak and suddenly Maggie can’t help but tune out Alex’s ramble of excited questions. She signals M'gann to bring her something stronger than the beer she’s been nursing all night, because now she knows exactly who Lucy Lane’s dream girl is, and honestly Maggie has never felt more thoroughly fucked over in her life.

Notes: I’ve made a few changes with Sense8 lore. Instead of everyone being born on the same day, people of the same cluster are a group of people who were supposed to meet in life, but were prevented from doing so. (On FF I’ll make a list of how everyone would have met!)

I’ll be posting this to FF in a bit, but please reblog this if you read it. This took me like four full days to write and I’d really appreciate it!

                 {if you wanna start a fight, you better throw the first punch}

He doubles over, clutching at his stomach as a spike of pain rips through him, tearing him apart from the inside. A fever burns at his skin, his hands trembling as he pants for breath. The bricks are cool against his burning skin, soothing him, and he curls closer, resting his temple against the rock, uncaring of the way it bites into his skin, drawing a thin cut across his bare arm. A gasp pulls from his throat as a second wave of agony  hits him, his skin rippling as it whips through him. Gritting his teeth, he closes his eyes, running a shaking hand through his messy, red hair.

Tears burn at his eyes, but he holds them back, not allowing them to spill over despite the pain—despite feeling like he’s going to be ripped to pieces. He can’t quit now, not when he’s so close. He has to protect this cluster, his kids. He can’t have them.

The shadows can’t have them.

His hands clench into fists, palms shaking at his sides, and he hears a scream split the air: his scream, hoarse and throaty, strained from speaking, from calling for help. Dark eyes snap open, and he quivers as he looks down at the locket in his hands, polished gold glinting in the flickering light, darkness creeping closer, threatening to swallow him whole. His head aches, thoughts muddled together, blurring as he remembers his own birth, his second birth. He remembers his friends, his cluster—gonegonegone. The shadows took them away. All but one. They can’t have his children too, he won’t let them.

A hand latches onto his arm, familiar and warm, a scar on the man’s palm, one he’s known for years and years. He glances up, eyes locking with familiar dark eyes, shaggy, auburn hair pushed off his face. There’s a flash of worry in his eyes, something like terror that makes him wince. The scarred hand slips into his own, a reassuring squeeze grounding him, keeping him from floating away. The touch says I’m here, I’m here, and he wonders how long it’ll last.

A second presence settles on his other side, a shadow. He doesn’t look at it, doesn’t dare meet its eyes. He made that mistake once before, he won’t do it again. He ruined them all because of those eyes, because he wasn’t careful. It cost him his cluster.

“Take care of them,” he murmurs to his friend, pleading. He needs to make sure they’re okay, that the shadows won’t find them. He won’t let them end up like his own cluster—he won’t. He’d kill to keep them safe—his brats. Nothing’s going to hurt them, not the shadows and not Him.

White blinds his vision, his back arching against the wall—pain, then relief. And that’s when he sees them.

Chapter Four: Flaws (Day Three)

To say Natsu was having a bad day would be a fair statement. He woke up irritable, pissed at himself for the mess he made last night. He didn’t bother waking his friends up, instead heading to the small fitness room in the hotel to jog on the treadmill. Exercise and video games always calmed him down, but that arcade bar wouldn’t open until later.

He stopped himself before he overexerted himself, not wanting to be sore and tired before his match against ‘The Spriggans’ later in the morning. Even if they weren’t rumored to be a great team, he wouldn’t want to risk it.

When he arrived in his room, he saw his friends weren’t there. He figured they already went to breakfast, so he hopped in the shower, washed up, then headed downstairs after changing. On his way down the stairs, he cursed himself. The ends of his hair were faded black from the dye. 'So much for washing out after one use,’ he thought to himself. He had taken a shower last night and this morning. He thought it would have come out by now.

His tongue kept running over the silver ring in his lip. He took the eyebrow piercing out last night. It stung to remove, but he thought it was worth it. He decided to keep the lip ring in, liking the way it felt and looked. He could always take it out if he changed his mind later.

Opening the door to the lobby, Natsu started heading towards the room where breakfast was still being served, ready to go hang out with his teammates before their first match. He was feeling a little better, but a lot of it had to do with not thinking about a certain blonde girl.

It was weird, seeing as she was always on his mind. He was doing good to avoid the thought, but that all changed when he heard someone yelling his name. He turned, eyes searching until he saw the opened elevator. Gray was standing towards the front of it, looking right back at him.

He was about to open his mouth and say something, but someone on Gray’s left moved, drawing Natsu’s focus there. He locked eyes with the very girl he was trying not to think about, mentally cursing himself when he saw that frown on her lips.

He hated when she frowned. She was so much prettier when she was smiling and happy.

Not wanting to go down that road again, Natsu tore his gaze away from Lucy, his resolve steeling as he walked away from them. By the time he looked back, the elevator doors were already closed.

“Good,” he mumbled, keeping his head down as he walked. 'Maybe if she doesn’t see me, she’ll start smiling again.’

Blindside

Summary: When Lucy agreed to go on a blind date she hadn’t been expecting, well, this. A valentine dedicated to my followers.

Rating: T

AN: This wasn’t what I planned on giving you for a valentine but the other one started to turn a tad angsty and you all deserve some fluff from me for once. ;D Hope everyone had a wonderful day full of love (whether it be romantic, platonic, or even self).

Lucy evaluated her reflection in the store window thoughtfully. Not a single blonde hair was out of place, but she found herself lightly running her hands over the loosely curled strands just in case there was any frizz she missed. Her make up was impeccable (as it should be considering she spent over forty–five minutes agonizing over it), and the little black halter dress she had finally decided on (another hour long process) clung to her curvy body in all the right places.

She looked good. Damn good.

She smiled at the thought, but immediately sobered back into a fit of nerves when she recalled exactly why she was dressed up in the first place. Down the street, sitting innocently on the corner, was a busy restaurant with a single man sitting at a table, waiting for her. A man who she was apparently suppose to find from a white scarf.

Lucy had half a mind to just turn around and go back to her apartment. This whole thing was completely ridiculous and she didn’t know why she had ever listened to those twins Gem and Mini when it came to her love life. Blind dates never turned out well for anyone. It was like the unwritten rule in the dating world. So exactly why she had spent hours on her appearance for a night that was ultimately doomed to be a complete disaster was completely beyond her, but she had a feeling that the twins insistence that the person they were setting her up with was ‘perfect for her’ probably had something to do with it.

A sigh passed her glossed lips, fogging up the glass of the lovely shoe display. Maybe she should just go shopping – those pink stilettos in the corner there were incredibly cute. She could totally rock them.

Of course, then Gem and Mini would never let her hear the end of it.

The thought of their echoed words of infinite frustration immediately had her stepping away from the (oh so tempting) display and towards the restaurant at the corner. One night of disaster would be better than a lifetime of nagging from those two. Being that they were both actors, they had the annoying habit of impersonating close friends, especially when said friend had done something silly or stupid. It was hilarious most of the time, their impersonations were always spot on which made it even funnier, but the joke wasn’t quite so amusing when it was her lack of dating prowess on front and center stage.

Checking her phone before she stepped through the restaurant doors, she reread the message Gem had sent her. 'He will be at Rainbow Sakura Restaurant at 6pm wearing a white scarf and sitting at a table for two. Have fuuuuuun!’ It was five after now (was fashionably late still fashionable?) so if this mystery man had any kind of manners he should be in there. Waiting for her.

God, tonight was going to be awful. She just knew it.

Chapter 20. Simon.

It’s over. It’s all over.

My magic is beautiful like this, soft and golden, sinking back into the atmosphere. This doesn’t feel like going off. I can feel the magic getting weaker, the light around me dimming, the more it flows out of me. It will be different now. I’m not the Greatest Mage. I wonder if I’ll even be able to use what’s left.

I close my eyes again. I’m so, so tired, and warm, and weak. I just want to collapse.

It doesn’t stop. It keeps running, and running, and the golden light glows weaker, but it doesn’t stop. How much of it did I take?

I realise that Penny is shouting something and force myself to open my sluggish eyelids. She’s yelling, she’s saying ‘stop’, and she’s running through the blaze towards me. She grabs my arm and yelps, pulling me out of my daze.
