Why Do You Keep Apologizing! (Theo Raeken Imagine)

Here’s a Teen Wolf Imagine!

It’s actual rather longer than my usual, hope you don’t mind… I got carried away.

Requests are Open (Just bear with me)

I hope you enjoy!

You were born to a family of angels. If someone thought goody-two-shoes people were terrible, imagine how it felt to sport wings that burned every time you lied and having to move nearly every month once you’ve served your purpose.

Being an angel, you all had a specific purpose. And being part of a family, your family would spread across a town to spread positive energy throughout the people. No one could ever be in a bad mood if an angel was around… unless they’re so consumed by the darkness.

And once you stepped into Beacon Hills High School, you knew you found where you needed to go. You had a feeling you belonged to be there and it made your wings tingle underneath your jacket. You rolled your shoulders back and took a deep breath before setting off to find your locker. As you walked, there were multiple pairs of eyes on you. Not because you were an angel that just glowed (that’s actual a myth), but because there were other supernatural beings in that school that got a whiff of your scent. You just didn’t know that… yet.

“She’s not human.” Malia whispered, looking over to Scott and Liam who understood her statement. “Her scent… it’s… different.”

Scott nodded in agreement. “We don’t know if she’s a bad guy-”

“Or girl.” Lydia interrupted.

He looked over to her and nodded slightly. “Yeah… bad girl or not… We lay off her unless she proves to be a threat.”

“Just keep your wolf and coyote eyes on her.” Stiles added. “Stay. Away.”

“Well someone needs to tell Theo the plan.” Liam muttered. The pack looked over to what he meant.

And there you were, standing next to Theo Raeken, struggling to open your locker which, coincidentally, was next to his. He stood stiffly as the doors were pushed open a breeze sweeping in, carrying your scent over to him which made it stronger. Fear struck him in his bones after registering what your scent was. “Are you here to punish me?” He thought aloud.

You looked over to him as he hid his face inside his locker. “Excuse me?” You asked, politely. When there was no response, you decided to pat the young man on his muscly bicep. But then you saw darkness and a young woman tearing this boy’s heart out repeatedly. It was like a nightmare. You yelped as you pulled your hand away, immediately recognizing the feeling of darkness. It consumed him.

You were standing in a daze as Theo slammed his locker shut and hurriedly walked away from you. Your eyes trailed him.

In your first period, you introduced yourself to the teacher and was shown to a seat. There was an empty desk beside you and you couldn’t wait to attempt to befriend this new person. But fate decided to play against you as the boy from earlier sat next to you with an annoyed expression.

“Are you stalking me?” He asked, abruptly. “First you’re next to me in the morning, opening a locker that clearly wasn’t yours since you can’t even open the damn thing. And now you’re sitting next to me in my first period? I’ve never seen you a day in my life. So if-”

“I’m sorry if you got that impression.” You apologized. “I was told to sit here by the teacher. And as for the locker situation this morning, I honestly could not open the.. um… thing.”

“Damn.” Theo repeated. You raised an eyebrow. “Say it.” You shook your head. Wings tend to painfully shed a feather or two if a curse word left your mouth. Growing feathers back was the true punishment. After a long period of silence and an intense staring competition, Theo finally said, “I know what you are. And I’m not going back.”

“What?” You asked as the bell rang and class began.

After the class, you chased after him but he immediately disappeared into the crowd of students. “What did this kid mean.” You asked aloud.

It wasn’t until lunch time that you saw this mystery boy again. The two of you locked eyes across the room and he stood up to leave the cafeteria. You ran after him and just before he opened the doors to leave, you grabbed him. “Let go!” He said, shaking you off.

“What did you mean you aren’t going back?”

“Why do you care?” He shot back. “I don’t know you!”

“My apologies… I’m-I’m..” You began, but he interrupted.

Why Do You Keep Apologizing!” He screamed. “Demons don’t do that!”

You furrowed your eyebrows. “You-you think I’m a demon?” You couldn’t even contain your laughter. His face sported a confused expression. “I apologize for my laughter. But I’m not a demon. My name is (Y/N).” You said, offering your hand.

“Theo.” He muttered. “If you aren’t a demon, then what are you? ‘Cause you’re definitely not human.”

“And I suppose neither are you.” You said with a playful smirk on your face. “You don’t need to be afraid of me, Theo. I’m not here to harm you nor take you back to that girl.” He raised his eyebrows at you, wordlessly questioning you. “That girl in your nightmares. The one that tears out your heart.”

“How did you-”

“Angels are more than just wings and good deeds, Theo.” You said. “We have purposes as to why we arrive in cities… and I have a feeling my purpose is to rid you of your darkness.”

“Can you do that?” He asked, hopeful. You smiled warmly.

“Of course.”

Inevitable | Stiles

{ Y/N/N = Your Nick Name
Y/L/N = Your Last Name }

There he was, flinging the ball passed the goalie pretty much effortlessly during lacrosse practice. I leaned against the bleachers and smiled, fixing my ponytail. Stiles grinned my way, but I knew it wasn’t directed at me. I turned and, as expected, Lydia Martin walked passed me while elegantly swaying her hips.

I watched as Stiles forgot what he was doing, stumbling over his own feet but staying upright nonetheless. He blushed and quickly turned away, talking to Scott about something that I couldn’t hear.

Being in love with somebody who didn’t even notice you was probably the most stupid thing that I had gotten myself into ever since… well, ever. I forced myself to turn and walk away, knowing that if I stayed longer the ache in my heart would increase and I’d embarrass myself in front of a ton of people I wasn’t even friends with.

An hour later I had just arrived in my next class, Chemistry, and I sat down at a desk ready to be paired with some random nerd. However, I didn’t know that Chemistry lesson would change my life forever.

“Miss Y/L/N, Mr Stilinski.” Mr Harris said and my head shot up. I refrained myself from exclaiming my shock, and before I could even properly prepare myself, I felt somebody’s presence beside me.

“Hey. I guess we’re paired up for this project, huh?” Stiles said. His voice was so smooth and the way his lips moved made me want to kiss them so bad. God, I had to control myself.

“Y-yeah.” I stammered, moving my bag off the chair next to me and Stiles sat down, dropping his bag against the table in front of him.

“So, what’s your name?” He asked as he took out his books out. While Mr Harris continued to pair up students, he looked at me with those honey-coloured eyes and I swear I felt my insides melt.

I smiled slightly. “Y/N. You’re Stiles, right?”

“That’s me.” He laughed. “Pretty name, by the way.”

“Thanks.” I said, unable to stop myself from blushing. Stiles grinned and opened his book just as Mr Harris started announcing the project.

I noted what he said down. “… Please submit it next week Friday. This is both a test of intelligence and memory as well as a test of your ability to work together. Have a good day.”

With a groan, I closed my book. “If you want, I can just find some topics today and we can start the work on Monday.” I knew Stiles hated Chemistry, although he was extremely smart but it seemed that Mr Harris didn’t quite like him.

“I’m not going to let you do all the work.” Stiles said. “Are you free tomorrow?”

“Yeah. I… I think so.” I said, trying to make it seem as if I had to think about it. Honestly, I didn’t have anything to do after school. I only really spoke to people inside of school, and my mum was out all of the time so it didn’t really matter whether she granted me permission or not.

“Okay. Give me your number and I’ll text you later, okay?”

I nodded. “Yeah sure.” I wrote my number down on a piece of paper and handed it to him, and he smiled in a way that could have made any girl swoon.

The bell rang and Stiles packed his bag. “I’ll see you tomorrow, then?”

“Yeah. Bye, Stiles.” I said before he walked away, glancing at me once before he disappeared out of the door. I bit my lip and hit my forehead. Goodness, I couldn’t believe I had literally just spoken to my crush for the first time ever, and I’d probably been super obvious.

I got up and headed to the lockers to pick up my books, seeing as Chemistry was my last period of the day.

I arrived home and groaned when I noticed my mum’s car parked in the driveway. I parked my bicycle against the wall before heading inside the house, meeting my mum sitting at the dining table, sipping her tea and reading some sort of fashion magazine.

“Hi, Mum.” I greeted her, hanging my coat up and heading towards the kitchen to grab an apple before I leaned against the counter and watched my mum put the magazine down and acknowledge my existence.

“Hi, sweetie. How was school?”

“It was fine.” My phone buzzed in my pocket, and my mum raised her eyebrows.

“Who’s that? Have you finally made a friend?”

I rolled my eyes, hiding the fact that my heart literally missed a beat because it couldn’t be anyone other than Stiles, the only people who had my number was my mum, Stiles and Katherine who only had my number because our mothers were friends.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and unlocked it, tapping on the text notification. “It’s just someone I have to do a Chemistry project with. Anyway, how’s work?”

“Good as usual. Got the day off, but I’m leaving again tomorrow morning.”

Stiles: Hey Y/N/N. It’s Stiles. I hope it’s okay to call you that. Just wanted to ask what time you’re comfortable with to hang out tomorrow? Your house or mine?

“Right. What time?” I asked, as I typed a reply. I was glad I had a knack for multitasking.

Me: Sure. Anytime’s good, and I honestly don’t mind. You pick.

“My flight leaves at 8, so I’ll be gone around 7. I’ve also got a dinner invitation from Katherine’s mum, but there’s lasagna in the fridge.” Mum said, and I sighed. The few days a month that my mum was home, she always immediately made plans with her many lady friends and left me to tend for myself. At least she gave me the money to get whatever I needed for groceries, clothes, etc., but it still hurt sometimes that she was hardly around.

“Okay, Mum.” I said. My phone buzzed again and Mum once again looked at me suspiciously. “You’ve been acting weird lately. Are you sure there’s nothing you want to talk to me about?”

“No, there’s nothing I need to talk to you about. Not now, anyway.” I said, taking a bite of my apple before glancing back down at my phone.

Stiles: Is your house okay? Dad’s got a day off tomorrow and yeah. Maybe around 3 pm?

“Okay. I’m going to go get ready.”

“Fine. Bye, Mum.” I said without looking up. I had a nervous ache in my stomach, and I suddenly didn’t feel that hungry anymore.

Me: Yeah, that’s fine.

Stiles: Cool :) See you then.

Me: See you.

I sighed and slid my phone into my back pocket, finishing my apple before throwing the core away and heading upstairs to do my homework.

The next day I woke up from the sound of my mum’s car leaving the driveway, I tried going back to sleep, but my mind had decided that overthinking today’s events would be a better activity than sleeping, so I was left getting up at 7 am on a Saturday morning.

I made my way downstairs after grabbing my English books and sat at the kitchen island, doing my homework in an effort to let time go by faster.

It was 9:02 when I finally finished the last piece of homework I had and I made myself some breakfast before taking a shower and getting ready for the day.

At 2:45 I had gone grocery shopping, cleaned the house, tidied my room and done possibly everything I could have done. This definitely meant I would be extremely bored tomorrow, but I’d rather be bored than have to endure the nauseated feeling the butterflies in my stomach were producing.

I got a text from my mum that she’d arrived in Los Angeles and I didn’t reply. I couldn’t be bothered to. I headed downstairs and poured myself a glass of apple juice, sipping it slowly. I nearly let the glass fall when the doorbell rang. Yesterday evening, before I had gone to sleep, I had texted Stiles my address because of course I had completely forgotten to do so during our earlier text exchange.

After putting the glass down I made my way to the front door and opened it, only to find Stiles grinning at me. He was wearing a white t-shirt with red details and jeans, his backpack slung over his shoulder and his eyes glistened in the sunlight.

“Hey there.” Stiles smiled. “I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to tackle this beast of a project and strangle it.”

“Well that’s one way to put it.” I said, a weight lifting off my shoulders and the twist in my stomach leaving. “Come on in.” I opened the door wider and stepped out of the way to allow him to enter.

He walked in with a smile, looking around. “Nice house. Are you home alone?”

“Yeah.” I said, closing the door. “As usual.”

“You’re home alone most of the time?” Stiles asked, and I nodded. “Yeah. Mum works for some company and she travels a lot. She’s home maybe five days a month. Would you like something to drink?”

“Sure. Doesn’t that get lonely, though?”

“Kind of. I’m used to it.” I said. “What would you like?”

“Uhm.. Whatever you’re having is fine.” Stiles said. I nodded. “Well, I’m having apple juice. Is that okay with you?”

“Yeah.” Stiles replied and I poured him a glass and refilled mine. “So where are we going to work?” He asked once I handed his glass to him.

I bit my lip, thinking. “Let’s work upstairs, yeah? I’ve got everything we need there.”

“Alright.” Stiles said, and I motioned for him to follow me upstairs to my bedroom. Once we got there I pulled my books out from my bookshelf and laid them on the floor in front of my bed.

“So what do you want the project to be about?” I asked as I sat down on the carpeted floor, and Stiles dropped his bag against the bed and sat in front of me.

“I’m not sure. I wasn’t exactly listening to what he was saying.” Stiles admitted, blushing.

I laughed. “I don’t blame you. He wants us to choose an experiment, make it happen, observe it and then write our observations.”

“Right. Maybe we could…”

That was the start of my friendship with Stiles. We started hanging out more, though I kept it all a secret from my mum. I was stubborn, I told myself that if she wasn’t here she didn’t care and she didn’t have to know because, knowing my mum, she would make a big deal about it and question me about any ‘possible relationships’.

Sure, I still had a crush on Stiles but I had learned to control it. I’d become close with Scott as well, and thanks to Stiles I didn’t feel so bored or lonely outside of school. There were times when our hugs lingered a bit longer than an average hug (‘the average hug’ meaning Scott’s hugs because there really weren’t any other guys I was comfortable enough with to hug) but I told myself I was just imagining it.

“Y/N.. Y/N!” Somebody whispered, and I turned to find Scott crouching on the roof outside my window. “Scott?! What are you doing here?” I asked, as I opened the window as quietly as possible. “You know my mum’s home!”

“I do, I do. But Stiles said he needs us both. Something happened in the woods, some sort of murder or something. Stiles thinks it’s another wolf.” Scott said. I nodded and quickly pulled my shoes on and pulled on a hoodie I had borrowed from Stiles once and never returned. It smelled like him and it made my heart race, as if he were here with me in person.

You see, Scott was a werewolf. It’s a long story, but Stiles had explained everything to me once I had found out. “Okay. One second.” I said quietly to Scott before opening the door and shouting, “Mum, I’m off to sleep. Goodnight!”

“Sleep well, sweetie!” She replied and I closed the door, turning the light off and heading towards the window. Scott had already moved so I could go through, and I climbed onto the roof swiftly, having done this a million times before.

“Nice hoodie.” He smirked, probably identifying Stiles’ scent on it. “Thank you.” I grinned, following him as he jumped off the roof and I did the same. He ran into the woods and I followed him, until eventually we saw Stiles’ familiar blue Jeep parked in the middle of a clearing.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw him leaning against the side of the car, and I immediately ran up to him and engulfed him in a hug. He laughed and wrapped his arms around my waist, resting his chin on my shoulder before I pulled away with a blush. God I hated how my cheeks heated up so easily.

“Alright guys, that’s enough.” Scott teased, like he always did. I stuck my tongue out at him, but I knew thanks to his supernatural hearing. “Fill us in, Stiles?” I asked him.

“A random couple got murdered, heard my dad say something about wolf-like bites on the bodies. I thought Scott should investigate.” Stiles said. “We can’t just let another wolf enter Beacon Hills. I’ve already called Derek, he’s aware of the situation.”

“Okay.” I said. “So why’d you need me here?”

“Moral support.” Stiles grinned brilliantly and I felt my knees weaken but thankfully I stabilised myself by leaning against the car just as Stiles was doing, only I was leaning with my shoulder against it. “I need another human here in case Scott decides to forget that I don’t have supernatural powers.”

“That happened once, Stiles!” Scott exclaimed, and I laughed. “Shouldn’t we go investigate, guys?” I asked, and Stiles smiled at me.

“Always thoughtful. Let’s go, Scott.”

“Do you have a flashlight?” Scott asked, and Stiles turned to open the car door and a few seconds later a flashlight was tossed to both Scott and I, and he was holding his own.

“Always prepared.” I retorted, and Stiles laughed before locking the car.

Scott made a gagging sound, and I glared at him. We headed off into the woods, Stiles leading the way and Scott sniffing for a trace of the wolf.

“Do you think it’s an omega?” I asked Scott quietly, and he shrugged. “I don’t know, Y/N. I haven’t picked up anything yet.”

We finally got at the crime scene, and I saw Stiles’ dad, the Sheriff, talk to some police officers. Scott stopped, and I turned to him only to find him walking in the opposite direction. He motioned for me to follow and I grabbed Stiles’ hand to get his attention.

I blushed in the dark, aware of how his hand fit in mine and Stiles turned towards me. “What?” He asked quietly.

“Scott found a scent. Come on.” I pulled him towards Scott, and I turned my flashlight off as to not gain attention.

We followed Scott until we arrived at Allison and Scott’s secret spot. Derek was already there, and his eyes flashed at us as if to say 'stay back’….

“Come on, I’ll give you a boost up.” Stiles said later that night once we arrived at my house. I nodded and he boosted me up so I could climb onto the roof. He followed suit, and we slowly walked over to the window of my room. I opened it slowly and jumped in quietly, Stiles doing the same.

I sighed, and ran my fingers through my hair. “Is Scott going to be okay?”

“Of course he will. He’s in good hands with Deaton.” Stiles said and I sat on the bed with my back against the headboard. Stiles did the same and we both sat there for a moment. What had happened today had been the first time I’d truly experienced anything supernatural that was dangerous, and to be honest I was feeling extremely shook up.

“Y/N/N…” Stiles said. “You’re going to be okay. Everything will. Look at me, I’ve survived this for like a year now. I’m doing fine.”

“I know.” I said. “I just–” I made the mistake of looking up into his eyes, and I realised how close those beautiful lips were to mine. All I had to do was lean in a little bit and they would touch.

“You just?” Stiles asked, and I completely forgot what I wanted to say.

“Nothing. Are you tired?” I asked, and Stiles shook his head. “No. You?”

“I don’t know.” I said honestly.

Stiles smiled slightly. “Would you like me to leave?”

“No, please don’t.” I said. “Just want to lay down for a bit.”

Stiles nodded, and he gently grabbed my hand, lacing our fingers together. I smiled at him and moved down, turning on my side and he kissed my shoulder.

“This is my hoodie isn’t it?” He whispered, and I nodded. “Yeah. Sorry, it’s just really comfortable and I kept forgetting to give it back.”

“That’s okay.” He said, and I turned my head, looking at him. “Stiles?”

“Yes?” He asked, looking up from behind my shoulder and I bit my lip. “Do you still like Lydia?”

“No…” He said, a flush covering his pale skin. “I’ll always admire her because well, I had feelings for her for ten years. But no, I don’t obsessively like her anymore.”

“Oh, okay.” I said, trying to act cool even though I was mentally doing a happy dance.

Stiles hummed against my shoulder. “Why are you asking?”

“No reason.” I answered, turning my head back around and sighing into the soft pillow.

“Okay.” He gave my hand a tight squeeze, and before I realised it, I was falling asleep….

“Y/N Y/L/N!!” A shrill voice woke me up and I groaned. “Mum leave me alone.”

“Not until you explain why the Sheriff’s son is in your bed!” She shouted, and I felt somebody stir behind me and yesterday’s events came rushing back to me as I woke up fully.

“Who’s shouting?” Stiles asked as he, too, woke up slowly. I opened my eyes only to find my mum, completely dressed, with her arms crossed and I quickly got up.

“Mum, it isn’t what you think!” I said. “Look, we’re both fully dressed. He’s just my friend.”

“You never–”

“Because you’re never around.” I said, and I turned to Stiles who was looking at me with a look that I couldn’t decipher.

“Y/N….” She said.

I sighed. “Mum, can you leave me alone for a bit? Please? Nothing happened, I promise.”

“Fine. Stiles, that’s your name right?” She asked Stiles, who nodded. “You may join us for breakfast if you want.”

“Thank you, Mrs Y/L/N.”

My mum nodded before walking out of my room and closing the door behind her. I sighed and fell back onto the bed, groaning and covering my face with the pillow.

“Are you okay?” Stiles asked, and I groaned into the pillow. Suddenly the pillow was being pulled away and Stiles was leaning over me. My heart started racing like it usually did when he was this close to me, and Stiles smiled at me.

“What?” I asked, and he chuckled. “I knew it. Scott told me.”

My eyes widened and he moved closer. “He told me your heart beat rose whenever you were around me. He could smell it off you, you know. From the moment he met you.” He whispered. “I didn’t believe him at first. I thought he was messing with me. I knew for sure yesterday when you asked me whether I still liked Lydia.”

“Great.” I sighed and Stiles raised his eyebrows. “Not happy?”

“You’re going to friendzone me now, right?”

“Well… no.” Stiles said. “I was planning to kiss you, but if you don’t want to then that’s fine too.”

My jaw dropped, and he laughed, pressing my chin slightly so as to close my mouth. Without warning, he kissed me.

It was everything I had imagined and more. His warm lips were soft and fit mine as if they were the missing puzzle piece. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer, deepening the kiss because god I felt like I was dreaming and I wanted to make the dream worth it.

He smiled against my lips and laughed. “Wow, Y/N/N. Ever heard of taking it slow?”

“For god’s sake, Stilinski, shut up.” I said, kissing him again and rolling us over so I was straddling him. I cupped his cheeks and brushed my lips against his, teasing him slightly.

“You made me wait, and you expect me to take it slow.” I mumbled as I kissed his jaw line before kissing his lips again.

Stiles didn’t reply, although to be fair I didn’t really allow him to. When I finally pulled away to catch my breath, Stiles’ lips were tinged red and I knew mine were probably marked as well. “Weren’t you supposed to go speak to you mum?”

“Oh. Right.” I said, having forgotten that completely. I got off of him and for a moment just stared at him, unable to comprehend that we’d just spent about ten minutes making out. It was weird, finally kissing him when I’d been crushing on him for SO long.

He smiled and sat up, leaning over to peck my lips. “Do you want me to stay and wait or should I go?”

“Is that even a question?” I asked. “And, stop kissing me. I’m going to end up not being able to control myself.”

“Wow. What have I done to you?” Stiles asked mockingly. I shrugged. “You kissed me, that’s what.”

“Yeah well it was inevitable.” Stiles said. “I liked you too much.”

I blushed but before I could reply Stiles spoke again. “Go talk to your mum, Y/N/N. I’ll be here when you get back.”

“Okay.” I believed him, but I still felt like I was in a dream. I smiled at him before getting up and walking towards the door, heading towards the kitchen to speak to my mum, hoping deeply that she’d believe me.

Your POV

You walked through the halls, still confused about the layout of the completely new school you’ve never heard of before until now. It was your first day at Beacon Hills High, and although you hated to admit it – you were lost. You managed to build the courage to ask someone where your first class was, and she kindly helped you over to the lab room.

You sat down at the back, not expecting anyone to sit next to you. You were early to class, so no one was inside. You took out your sketch book, grabbing a led pen from your pencil case and started to draw. The lines you made took over you as you just freely move your hand with the pen. Just as you were enjoying the peace and loneliness, someone’s books thumped to the seat next to yours. You were surprised, slightly nervous and scared. You cleared your throat, shifting away and continuing to draw.

A short few minutes later it was hard to concentrate with someone breathing loudly next to you, so you decided to speak up. “Excuse me, can you please not breathe so loudly?” You looked up, you didn’t mean to say it with attitude. You hadn’t realized that it was a boy. You were never great with talking to boys, you would always end up embarrassing yourself. The boy looked at you, causing your heart to skip a beat. Something about him made you feel uneasy. And it wasn’t because he was a boy.

"Hot firemen can make a girl do crazy things,” she agrees, nodding towards her brother’s name on the menu. “Derek won’t let me date anyone from his company, but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate the eye candy.”

“Send them my way,” Stiles suggests, finally loading up a forkful of pie. “Apparently I’m incompetent enough that I need to be babysat at all times, because it would be cheaper than dispatching a truck every time I try to use a kitchen appliance.”

There was hardly anything left of the happy boy who used to run home from school everyday to hug his mom, or hardly anything left for anyone to see of the little boy who would curl up on his father’s lap. Nothing was left but an empty shell of the teen who had done absolutely nothing to deserve the pain and suffering he’d been forced to endure for the last ten years. Hope was a foreign word that meant nothing to those lifeless eyes and love was something only mythology spoke of because surely these feelings had no place in their meaning for someone like him, someone who was so worthless and useless that after all these years no one could see just how badly he was suffering and come to save him, take his pain away and never ask for anything in return.

One more from the drafts folder! This one’s from an angst prompt list going around like two years ago, but now it’s done :)

A man destined to hang
Can never drown,
A man destined to hang
Can never drown,
A man destined to hang
Can never ever drown

Derek wakes up to unexpected pain in his shoulders and wrists. His brain takes an overlong moment to catch up to his unusual surroundings, still bleary with the after effects of … Something. It turns out he’s standing upright, or hanging, more technically, from the manacles which are holding his hands above his head. The room he’s in is a grimy, industrial looking place that smells like mold and has exactly no windows.

It’s not much of a leap to realize that firstly, he was drugged and kidnapped, and secondly that it was probably at Deucalion’s orders. Putting together exactly how he’d ended up like this is a bit more of a struggle. He has a fuzzy memory of a blind date on Friday - that’s right, with Julia. After dinner he’d taken her home, and she’d convinced him to come in for a drink. It’s only past her doorway that he can’t remember anything at all.

He tugs at his wrists without any real hope. Deucalion’s crew is the best at what they do, and he knew what he was risking going against them. They’re human traffickers and gun runners, and kidnapping was probably the nicest thing they did to enemies. But Violet had been a part of their crew for long enough to have seriously damning knowledge of their gang, and when they caught her Derek had known right away that he’d do his best to help convince her to testify. For the Alphas to go this far in targeting, they must be right about her value as a witness. Jokes on them, though: Derek had made sure he didn’t have any information about her new identity or the where the cops were keeping her before the trial. She’ll be safe.

Derek, on the other hand… With a sick pulse of adrenaline he realizes he has no idea where he is and, more worryingly, neither does anyone else. Nobody’s expecting him until Monday, in fact, so the Alpha gang probably has days before anyone even starts looking. He closes his eyes to get a handle on himself. Panicking won’t help anything.

When he opens them, he’s no longer alone.

Standing in front of him is the most beautiful young man he’s ever seen, even through the rusted door across the room certainly never opened. He has pale, almost translucent skin that’s dotted with moles like constellations, and his big round eyes are staring openly at Derek. He’s dressed in such clean white clothes, his hair so artfully tousled, that he looks like something copied out of Vogue and superimposed into this grim scene.

The man’s looks are so arresting that it takes Derek a minute to even realize the stranger detail, which is that guy’s got wings, huge, white perfectly formed wings. As if he’s some beautiful bird of prey, or a Raphaelite angel. No, definitely an angel. He has a halo that’s casting the light that makes his hair and clothes look so bright.

Disclaimer: I do not own Teen Wolf.

A/N: Yay, more imagines! I’m planning to finish all the drafts and more imagines requested! Part 6 of My Fair Lady should be coming out most likely this weekend!

This is my story. It’s filled with adventures, heartbreak, treachery,  but mostly, it’s filled with kinship. I found a place where I belong, where I could be with the ones I love. The place where I wouldn’t be judged, where I wouldn’t have to be heartless. The place where I fell in love with a human boy.

That is why I fell. I chose my friends, my home, over the angels. Although, in my heart that God wanted me to be with them. He loved them, He made them in His image.

It started out when I was charged to protect a boy named Stiles Stilinski. He was young, silly, and a bit crazy. But he was caring, ambitious, loyal to those who loved him and those deserving. I couldn’t help but start to enjoy his presence.

I watched over him for days, when a werewolf pack attacked him, I saved him, finally deciding to show myself. He looked at me, as if I was insane. He saw my large wingspan and looked in awe at my might. “You’re an angel?”

“I am a celestial being. And you are a human.” I stopped myself. I was acting too cold, I was use to it. “I’m (y/n).” I introduced myself and helped him up.

“I’m Stiles-”

I kissed his forehead, to heal his injuries. He let out a sigh of relief, as if all the pain had vanished from his body. He looked at me, in awestruck, unable to form words. “Let’s get you home.”

“Can you fly me home, or?’ He joked, but I gave him a glare. "Alright, walking it is.”

Over the course of time, I met the pack. Lydia, the girl he loved, Scott, his best friend, Allison, Derek, and Isaac. They seemed afraid of me, as if my power might blow them away but I reassured them that they were safe. I was sent on a mission to protect Stiles Stilinski.

Now you may wonder, you were doing your job, why did you fall?

I fell because I fell in love with my charge. It started out softly, holding his hand, or rubbing his back when he had a panic attack about his mother. Eventually, one, Stiles asked me to kiss his forehead. “Do you mind? I mean you don’t have to- ”

“Why do you wish me to, beloved?” It became a pet name for Stiles.

“I guess it makes me safe, knowing that you’re my guardian angel and all.” He said, and you smiled. At one point, I got into the bed with him and let my wings wrap around him. He fell asleep and I knew that it was becoming dangerous to be around him.

Eventually, I was called back to Heaven. They told me that Stiles Stilinski was no longer mine to protect. “Why?” I asked them, I challenged them. I didn’t want to become like the fallen angel, Lucifer. I refused to be like him, but I loved humanity, and I loved Stiles.

“You are becoming to attached to your charge, that is dangerous. Love blinds you, (y/n).”

Eventually, you made your decision. You wanted to be there for the pack and Stiles. They deserved someone to protect them and be by their side. The alpha deserved an advantage over his enemies. Stiles deserved someone to be with him.

“Than I chose to fall. I chose the give up my wings, relinquish my abilities. Our Father wanted us to love humanity, and that is what I will do.”

The fall was painful, I felt each feather of my wing leave me. I didn’t scream as I fell from Heaven, and unto earth. I knew that it was for the best. Humanity was worth saving, worth protecting, worth loving.

I came to Stiles and he noticed that my wings were gone. “What happened, (y/n)?” He sounded concerned, as if someone had hurt me.

“I fell for you.”

‘I’m a...’ {Teen Wolf Preference}

Scott knew as soon as you walked by that you weren’t all that you seemed. He could smell the supernatural - which still freaked him out to say actually. He didn’t know what you were though. Your scent wasn’t like other werewolves; it was faint, lighter somehow; like Lydia’s.

He’d waited a few weeks before asking you. He wanted you to be comfortable with telling him but he wanted to know, “What are you?” He blurted out without thinking it through.

You turned to him, eyebrows knitted together in surprise, and asked what he meant, “You know what I mean, (y/n).” Scott said, “You’re something… What are you?”

You sighed; of course you’d need to hell him at some point you just hoped it wouldn’t be this early, “Promise not to freak out.”

“(y/n), I’m a wolf.”

You shrugged and stood up, closing your eyes and focusing for a moment before you felt the soft feathers tickle your skin and you heard the familiar flutter of your wings. You opened your eyes, “I’m an angel, Scott…”

“Oh my God…” He whispered before his face split into a wide grin, “Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?”

prompt here about this

Honestly, you hadn’t known until very recently the truth about your family and about what you were. You were a witch; a new witch. You’d always been a witch but you were only just beginning to figure out your powers.

Stiles never gave you a heads up about when he was coming to yours and he never bothered to knock either; you’d known each other long enough to be past formalities like that.

You should have known though that Stiles would walk in on your practising your magic. It was Stiles, after all, he had a talent for stumbling upon things he shouldn’t.

The feathers floated around you, taken from an old pillow, and you smiled proud that you’d done it. It was a small trick but it was so amazing.

“Holy crap…”

You shot up and all the feathers floated to the ground, “Stiles… Uh, hey?”

“How did you do that?” Stiles murmured, still amazed.

You licked your lips, “I’m a witch.” You confessed, “I only found out recently I didn’t-”

“That is… awesome!” He beamed widely at you, “Can you do it again for me?”

(imagine here about this)

Getting in to the bath was easy, it was getting out that was the hard part. Alone, it was even worse. Your tail dangled over the edge of the bathtub as you hummed quietly to the song that played on your phone.

Truthfully, you were surprised that you’d kept your secret for this long; especially since your boyfriend, Derek, was a werewolf, but somehow you had kept it. The truth would come out soon enough but you just couldn’t find the courage to tell him.

You were too caught up in your thoughts to realise that Derek had come home and was now coming towards the bathroom. He knocked once before opening the door, “No!” You yelled, trying desperately to cover your tail with bubbles but your feeble attempts failed.

“What the- Is that a- You’re a…”

“Mermaid.” You supplied, “I’m a mermaid.”

Derek was silent for a few moments and stared at your tail, “I knew something was up,” He said eventually, “It smelled a little fishy.”

You glared at him, “You’re not funny.”

He grinned at you. “I still love you, tail or no tail.”

The hunger was overwhelming. Your throat burned and your mouth felt like sandpaper. You needed to feed; you needed blood. It hurt you to have to lie to Isaac but if he found out… he wouldn’t love you anymore, or so you thought.

You slipped out during the night and began to track your prey. Heartbeats echoed like drums in your ears and you could hear the rushing of their blood. It was late but not everyone was asleep. You found someone, a man in his thirties, standing outside of a bar smoking.

“Don’t scream,” You told him before biting into his neck, drinking greedily from his artery.

You were so hungry that you almost didn’t stop. You almost didn’t stop drinking. But you did. Not because you remembered but because you were torn away by the man who instantly took off running, “(y/n)…”

You stared up at Isaac, bloody coating your chin, “Isaac,” You shook your head, “You followed me.”

Isaac stared at you with terrified eyes, “Isaac please, don’t- don’t be scared.”

“You’re a…” He murmured.

I’m a vampire.” You nodded, wiping the blood from your face, “And you’re a werewolf.”

He was conflicted as he stared at you with horrified eyes, “Why- Why didn’t you tell me?”

You looked down, “I never wanted to see you staring at me the way you are now. I never wanted you to be scared.”

“I’m not scared.” He announced, “Surprised, definitely, but not scared.” You met his blue eyes, “I’m a werewolf, it’s not like we’re both perfect, is it?”

You smiled slightly, “No, I guess not.”

“Promise me one thing,” You nodded, “don’t eat me.”

Just give me all of the ‘unintentionally admitting feelings’ fic, okay? Like, Stiles is in the hospital on a truckload of pain killers, lying there barely conscious. And Derek shows up to talk to Scott, who’s been at Stiles’ bedside the whole time of course, and of course Derek didn’t come here to check on Stiles, obviously. He’s here for Scott, and Stiles will be fine, and anyway he doesn’t care.

Stiles isn’t even mortally wounded, okay? The Nemeton got bad is what happened. Everything got bad. And now Stiles is doped up to all hell just so that he’ll stay asleep.

But then Stiles starts mumbling nonsense that has Derek frowning in bemusement, but Scott waves it off, all, “Yeah it’s the drugs, don’t worry. He told me half an hour ago that my ‘jawline is angelic and fuck the haters.’”

Except that then Stiles starts talking about drowning, and both of them freeze and take note. Scott looks poised to pounce on Stiles in some sort of tackle-embrace that will probably soothe all ills, except the next word out of Stiles’ mouth is: “Derek.” And then: “That’s why you’re not letting me go.”

Scott furrows his brow in confusion as Derek takes an unintentional step forward, towards the bed, his features gone slack.

“Derek,” Stiles says again. He looks half asleep and half in pain, despite the drugs, and the word comes out near a whimper. “Derek.” He shudders in a deep breath. “Don’t let go,” he whispers, choked. And then, more adamant, determined, “Don’t let go, Stiles. Don’t you fucking let go. Stiles, don’t. Don’t let go. Don’t…”

Scott’s started to move forward now, a hand reaching out to comfort, but Derek gets there first, can’t not get there first for this. Whatever it is. He crouches down beside the bed so that his knees knock against the bottom of the bed frame and his head is level with Stiles’ turned face, and his cheek is pressed against the edge of the plastic guard rail. “Let go, Stiles,” he whispers.

Which makes Stiles get ten times worse, apparently, because he thrashes his limbs, and grits his teeth painfully hard, and shouts out things about opening doors and taking up ASL as a second language.

Derek can feel Scott at his back now, about to intervene but giving Derek one last chance to give him a reason not to. And Derek’s surprised he’s given even that much, honestly, when it comes to Scott’s brother.

So he doesn’t think, just acts, before he gets told not to. Derek throws an arm across Stiles’ arms and chest, effectively pinning the most squirming parts of him, and leans in so that his chin is on Stiles’ pillow and his mouth is a millimeter from the shell of Stiles’ ear. “Let go, Stiles,” he repeats, quiet but firm. “It’s okay. I’ll keep us up.”

At that, Stiles stills. His half-lidded eyes fall all the way closed. “You don’t trust me,” he says tiredly, as if by rote. As if he’s said it a hundred thousand times before. “I don’t trust you.”

Derek feels himself choke up irrationally. Helplessly. But he can’t think about that now. “Let go,” he whispers again. And then again. And then… “I promise you that it’s okay to let go now,” he says, Scott’s hand now a tight grip on Derek’s shoulder, Derek’s face somehow now pressed into Stiles’ neck without him having noticed. “Because I won’t.”

Angel Wings (Derek Hale)

supernaturalonthecase said
Can you do a Derek imagine where your his angle ( he knows that) and you see him fight Scott for training but think it’s no joke so you wrap Derek in your wings to protect him and it would be your first time seeing his pack?  Sorry English kinda good

Imagine: You are going to visit Derek and see he is fighting with Scott.

Word Count: 1066

Triggers: none

(Hope you enjoy! This one was kind of interesting to right. Next up: A Liam imgaine With Derek!)

Today you were going to surprise Derek with a visit to his loft. As you enter the building you hear groaning and the sounds of fighting. Quickly, you rush to the loft. Once inside, you see Derek fighting a younger boy. They both had glowing eyes so that means they were fighting. But why? The younger werewolf comes in and kicks your boyfriend while also punching him down. He falls immediately and groans. You rush over to him.
“Derek! Are you okay! Please answer me!” You say in concern.
“(Y/N), I’m fine just-”
You wrap your wings around him and his eyes change from Alpha red back to green in confusion.
“(Y/n)… You really didn’t have to do this. I’m fine. It was just training.” He said.
“It was what?” You say as you continue to help him within the wing cocoon.
“Training. That was the boy I bit, Scott McCall? And all of his friends are here too.” He explains. Once Derek has healed enough, you release him from your wing cocoon and make your wings shrink back.
“What? Where - oh hello new people.” You say and fake a smile as you turn around and see a couch full of people look at you I confusion. Derek puts an arm around your waist.
“Everyone, meet my girlfriend (y/n), who also happens to be my protector.” He says. You suddenly turn shy, not knowing what to say.
“It’s nice to meet you. I’m Scott, sorry about knocking your boyfriend down… I didn’t mean too.” He says. Derek gives him a playful punch in the arm.
“You did good Scott, she didn’t know I was training with you.” He says.
“Yeah… That was kind of embarrassing I didn’t mean to go full wing mode on you, I just thought you were really hurt.” You say to Derek.
“It’s fine, what a great way for everyone to meet you!” He says. You smile. A red headed girl speaks up.
“My name is Lydia and if you don’t mind me asking what exactly are you?”
“I don’t mind at all. I’m an Angelus. Which is Latin for-”
“Angel.” Lydia finished. You nod.
“I’m a banshee in case you were wondering. Please do not ask me to scream for you.” She chuckles. You laugh.
“Don’t worry, I’m not planning on it. Um, what about the rest of you?” A younger looking boy goes next.
“My name is Liam and I am a werewolf that was bitten by Scott.” He says. You look over to Scott.
“Derek told me about that. Nice job Scott, that was the only way you could save him.” You say. He blushes.
“Thank you.”
A girl with short hair goes next.
“My name is Malia Tate, and I’m a werecoyote.” She says.
“You’re the desert wolf’s child aren’t you.” You ask. She looks at you.
“Y-yeah. Do you know her?”
You nod.
“I mean, not very well but I have spent some time with her. She’s mentioned you a few times.”
Malia bites her lip.
“Thanks for telling me that.”
Smiling you say
“Your welcome.”
You look at the four remaining people on the couch.
“Okay, let me guess. One of you is the kitsune, one is another werewolf, one is a hunter, and one is a human.” You smirk.
“Wait - how did you?” One of the boys said.
“I can sense you guys. I’m an angel for crying out loud, I know almost everything. What’s your name?”
“I’m Stiles, the ‘human’ although I like to be called the resourceful one.” He added.
“Why of course, my apologies resourceful one.” He smirks like he just won the lottery.
“Okay, who is last werewolf?” You ask. The one remaining guy raises his hand.
“I’m Isaac. I was bitten by yours truly.” He says while pointing to Derek.
“Ahh, you were one of his recruits. I told him not to do that… But you seem lovely Isaac, it’s nice to meet you.” You smile.
“It’s nice to meet you too.”
“My name is Kira and I’m the Kitsune.” One of the girls blurt out.
“The fox I see. You get it from your mother?”
“You knew my mom?”
“For a short period of time yes.”
“I do get it from my mom, I’m an electricity fox. So lights and stuff.” She says.
“Wonderful. Keep control of your powers though, kitsune can get out of hand sometimes.” You warn. She nods.
“And last, but not least, the Hunter.” You say. She nods.
“I’m Allison. And you probably know my whole family if you know everyone else. But I’m not like them, I promise.” She says.
“I know you aren’t Allison, you’re an amazing girl with a heart of joy.” You say.
“Okay, no that introductions are over, can I get back to training?” Derek says. You look at him.
“Of course. I’ll be over here.” You say and give him a peck on the cheek. Him and Scott go back to training.
“Can we see your wings again?” Kira asks.
You smile and open them up.
“Pure white.” Lydia mutters.
“Pure white means you’re a good angel.” You explain.
You make them turn to black.
“Black wings mean you’re a bad angel. The good ones could always turn evil, and the evil could always turn good. It just depends on the person. Not only am I a good angel, I’m also a Guardian. In this case, Derek’s.” You turn to look at your boyfriend, who just got done with the first round of training.
“You are something special, you know that (y/n)?” Lydia says. You pull back your wings.
“Thanks Lydia.”

A few hours have gone by and everyone has finally left the loft.
“Did you enjoy talking to everyone?” Derek asks. You nod. He comes over to you and gives you a hug.
“You knew a lot more than I thought you did about everyone.” He says. You rest your head on his shoulder.
“Yeah well, being an angel has its perks, I know a lot about a lot of people.” You say. You remove your head from his shoulder and look at him. He leans in for a kiss and you kiss him back. As your kiss intensifies, your wings come out and wrap around you and Derek both. He laughs into the kiss.
“I love when that happens” he mumbled.

(I know it’s young Derek Hale, but that’s alright haha. Also Gifs are not mine, Credit goes to whoever made them.)

Hello! I've been a fan of the sterek trope of growing up together and I've never been able to find one exactly Most of them have just been like maybe they were friends when they were little then Derek moved away. BUt anyway! If you could maybe help me or rec any to me that'd be super awesome thank you!!

  • This Might Be Irony by thepsychicclam (M, 38k) Stiles and Derek have been close friends since the Hale siblings moved in next door after their parents’ death. But Derek’s in the popular group, he’s a star baseball player, and he dates popular Pep Squad captain Jennifer Blake. Stiles doesn’t have any of that, just his skateboard and a hopeless crush on Derek (oh yeah, and his Vote Lydia Martin Prom Queen button). As prom and the baseball state championship grow closer, Stiles and Derek start rekindling their friendship. And it all begins with two white boards.
  • Little Dumplings by DevilDoll (G, 8k) "You and Derek are going to sit next to each other,“ she said. Derek had already put his mat down off to the side, near the window, and was sitting on it, glaring at his Batman sneakers. “And you’re going to hold hands.“ "What?” Stiles blurted. He looked over at Derek, who was looking back at him, mouth fallen open in shock. His eyes were so wide that for once his eyebrows weren’t his most noticeable facial feature. "If you refuse to apologize to each other, you’ll have to make up another way,“ Miss Blake said firmly, steering Stiles over toward Derek and standing there while he obediently—if somewhat grudgingly—put his mat down.
  • the difference between going back and going home by thepsychicclam (E, 32k) Stiles and Derek were inseparable growing up, but then college, jobs, and life happened. When Stiles comes back to Beacon Hills a decade later, he doesn’t expect to reconnect with Derek, and he sure doesn’t expect to fall in love with him.
  • Help me get in touch (with what I feel) by alenie (E, 3k)  “Stiles, what happened?” Derek says as sternly as he can (which isn’t very). Nevertheless, there is a pause on the line, and a small sigh. “I was just…having some Stiles personal time, you know? And…I may have gotten something stuck. Um, in me.” “In you?” Derek says incredulously. “What do you…oh.” Enlightenment strikes. “Like, in your…” “Yes, in my butt!” Stiles snaps.
  • But The World Won’t Stop Turning by thepsychicclam (E, 20k) Derek glances at Stiles, who is watching him with a curious expression. “Oh shit,” Stiles exclaims as comprehension dawns on him. “Everything makes sense now. Derek, I know what the witch did, she cursed you with – “ But before Stiles is able to finish his sentence, everything fades away and Derek is surrounded by darkness.
  • Thrill (like white-hot wire) by raisesomehale (M, 4k) Stiles decides that Derek is his new best friend and that he is going to marry him the day he shares his dinosaur chicken nuggets with him.
  • Little Kid Crush by KuriKuri (T, 5k) “What’s your name?” Derek asks, wiping the last of the tears off the kid’s face with his sleeve.“’tiles,” the kid mumbles, and Derek frowns, wondering if he heard correctly. “Tiles?” Derek repeats. “Stiles,” the kid repeats, pouting at Derek slightly, defiant even though his eyes are still puffy and red and his cheeks tear-stained.
  • I Feel You In My Heart And I Don’t Even Know You by Diprosopus (T, 3k) Stiles met Derek on his sixth birthday.
  • An Impossible Fate by spellwovennight (E, 33k)  Stiles gets miraculously appointed as a Guardian Angel after his first few months in Heaven. His charge? Derek Hale, a young and bright child that becomes Stiles’ best friend. Over the course of the years, Stiles’ feeling morph into something more. Many years later, in response to Derek’s proposal to Braeden, Stiles appears in anger, and gets stuck on Earth, appearing as a human. Will Stiles be able convince Derek the error of his ways?
  • Lead You Home Again by GotTheSilver (E, 50k) The first time Derek meets Stiles, the kid’s brown eyes are wide, and he’s staring up at him with a mischievous grin as he tugs at the arm of Derek’s first ever Batman figure like he’s trying to separate it from Batman’s body. An alternate take on Teen Wolf, wherein Stiles and Derek are childhood friends, and things unfold from there.
  • untitled by dexterous-sinister (Not Rated, 1k) “Oh dear,” Talia stated on the phone as she turned to see Derek sitting on the couch, scowling more than usual. “That would explain his attitude.” “I don’t want him to be in trouble, it’s just a small misunderstanding, I’m sure of it,” Claudia stated as she rinsed the dishes in the sink. “Derek’s never mentioned being upset with Stiles being around him,” Talia replied. “I’m sure Stiles just overwhelmed Derek. He’s had a little crush on him for a while,” Claudia explained as she untangled the phone cord from around her waist.
  • untitled by pale-silver-comb (Not Rated, 1k)  “Hi,” Derek says, offering his hand to Stiles like he sees big people do on TV. “I’m Derek and I think your tail is really pretty.”
  • untitled by halekingsourwolf (Not Rated, 1k) Derek is sitting under the table with the blue-and-red plastic tablecloth drooped down low around him like a shield when Stiles discovers him.Let’s get something straight though, k? Derek is eight years old. Practically a grownup. He is not afraid of the bright, flashy lights in the sky no matter what Peter says.…He’s just not a big fan of the crashing noises that come with them.
  • The Sweet Solution by SiriusStuff (G, 3k)  Stiles finds a way to get Derek to talk to him.

kewkyc  asked:

Hey, I feel like sterek would work really well for the gym one (duh) the lawyer one with hsdDerek, the PI with Stiles tracking Derek and the huge fucking spider. Idk there were so many that would work!

[I went with the lawyer and the PI ones, but with a twist! Hope you like it :)]

“I’m telling you –” Isaac yells, “I’m not going back there even if you paid me all the money in the world!”

Stiles sighs, rubs at his temple. “Look, it would really make my job easier if you just –”

“Quit it, Stiles!” Isaac yells again, and Stiles can hear him apologizing to someone in the background. His friend has an annoying habit of using his phone in the library, he’s been kicked out of the place more than once because of it. “The guy looked like he was going to chop my head off, I’m not getting close to him or his daughter ever again. Sorry, bro. But that’s it.”

“Fine.” Stiles slams his hands on the table. “I will do it myself. Ugh, what are you Lahey, a man or a rat?”

Isaac snorts. “In this case? Definitely a rat.”

Fuck, sometimes Stiles hates his job. A lot.

The place is nice, the neighborhood seems like the one Stiles himself grew up in. Derek Hale must be fucking loaded to be able to buy a house in a place like this in a city like Los Angeles. It’s a shame Stiles is going against him, a guy with this amount of money could probably use a lawyer or another. Pity.

“Hello.” A little girl smiles, opening the door barely a minute after Stiles rang the bell. “Who are you?”

“Hi.” Stiles smiles, offers his hand for her to shake. She looks older than the picture her mother showed him, but it’s definitely her. Melanie Hale, five-years-old, black hair and colorful green eyes, also – adorable. “My name is Stiles, is your dad home?”

“He’s in the shower!” She answers. “So I can’t let you in.”

“Of course.” Stiles nods, seriously. He listens to her go on a ramble about safety and how she’s not supposed to talk to strangers, all the while watching her from head to toe, already coming up with a plan to use at court. She doesn’t look thin, in fact she looks like a healthy and happy kid. The way she talks about her dad, Stiles can’t help but arch an eyebrow. The story he’s been told doesn’t fit with the picture he’s having now.

Popsicle love by trilliastra (complete | 3,053 | Rated T)

The one where Stiles and Scott own an ice-cream truck and the guy who comes to buy ice-cream for his nephew is hotter than the sun.

Touch Me, Set Fire to My Mind by itschristaleigh (complete | 11,163 | Rated E)

When Erica drags Derek to a strip club, he never expects to fall in love with one of the strippers, so of course that’s exactly what happens.

You and I (We live in shades of gray) by alphahills (1/? | 1,705 | Rated T)

Life was going okay for Stiles after graduating from college, he came back to Beacon Hills, went through academy training, joined the Sheriff Station and became a Deputy for his dad, he saw everyone when they could come home and it was fine, even if he still saw black and white, even if all of his friends didn’t. He was twenty-four, had a great job, had a nice apartment and drank coffee daily. It wasn’t a bad life at all, a little boring yes, but not bad.

Until the local library was robbed. Because seriously, who robs a library?

He was in his shift and of course he was sent to deal with a couple of teenagers who can’t keep their hands in their pockets.

And of course that’s how Stiles meets his soulmate.

Ring My Bell by eeyore9990 (complete | 1,515 | Rated G)

Stiles bumps his head and meets an angel.

Significance by the_gramophone (complete | 8,001 | Rated T)

Ever since he almost got his family killed as a teenager, Derek Hale has tried to just keep to himself, and limit the damage he could do. Meeting Stiles Stilinski is the first time he’s wanted more than the quiet life he’s made for himself, but he doesn’t know how to ask for it.

It doesn’t help that a certain handsome deputy seems to be demanding an awful lot of Stiles’ time as well. Derek doesn’t know if he should let Stiles go with the better man, or learn to stand up for what he wants.

Can I get Your (call) Number, Baby? by lielabell (complete | 4,946 | Rated T)

Thing is, for the most part, Stiles’s loves his job. He loves the quiet hush of the library, the way it smells like must and old books. He likes walking through the stacks, collecting books to be shelved. Likes sitting at the reference desk, hell, he even likes the fact that they still have a card catalog, even though no one ever uses it. Everything about the job is amazing.

Except for the music majors.
