and just so people see this:

When will people stop hating on Danny Rand for being a human character who makes mistakes and has flaws and sometimes, yeah, doesn’t do the best thing (even if it’s dealt with/corrected later) and condemning him for this. As these same people make excuses when Matt, Luke, or Jessica do the same thing. Because that’s really getting old.

Please

Don’t remove the written portion of my art posts for any reason.

You’re welcome to respond to them and disagree with them in any way you want! But I consider the text portion to be as much a part of the post as the pictures. It’s hiding the text from everyone else who views the work off your blog, and everyone who then reblogs the textless version.

Thank you and extra brownie points to everyone who’s asked me first before making edits to my work. Whether it’s a major or minor change to the original, I feel really appreciated as the creator when you ask and I usually say yes to everyone.

I wish I was conventionally attractive….

why be anti when you can love and respect everyone in your fandom equally?

Finn : a complexe, well-rounded, loveable black character

Hux : a white guy we saw 3 minutes in the movie, who said 3 lines, so
insignificant I didn’t even remember he was there after seeing the movie

Everyone’s congratulating PBG for his upset outburst towards Jontron, but nobody’s congratulating him for apologizing for it after and showing political disagreements shouldn’t be what destroys friendships.
I have a lot more respect for him because of this and he deserves more credit for it imo.

okay listen. everyday, trying-to-fit-in kara kills me. the glasses, the flats, the argyle sweaters, it kills me. she is the embodiment of “too pure, too good” and it is really too much for me to handle. it’s all to try and blend in and seem insignificant, but guess what?? kara could be wearing camouflage and she would still stand out bc who smiles that much? whose eyes light up like that when they see potstickers for christ’s sake?? kara is so observant that she probably knows the birthdays of all the employees in the office at catco and gets them a card or a donut or something, and she notices because she cares so much about everyone. like she wants to make sure no one feels left out or forgotten and loves to make people feel special. she tries so hard to blend in but she’s too kind, too thoughtful, too bright to ever be anything but remarkable. and that has nothing to do with supergirl, that’s just kara being kara.

Am I the only one that doesn’t care at all that Mon El said that he loved Kara before Sanvers have said it? Like the relationship between Kara and Mon El is messy and lacks development, so I’m not surprised that he said that he loved her so quickly. In all honesty he may not even truly love her, she’s just the first person he’s truly been attached to and not a hook up, which he was doing on Daxam.

BUT Sanvers has been developed and I’m just waiting for that special moment that they actually say it. Not some type of “I’m saying this cause I don’t want to lose you bullshit,” but they say it cause it’s true. Cause they truly can’t live without one another and love each other, ride or die. When they do say it, it will be impactful and not easily forgotten like Mon El’s confession.

sessshomaru’s mother | requested by @bandz-amakeher-scream

so lemme get this straight

you’ve got grown-ass men drawing loli porn and hypersexualizing young female characters (maybe not in this particular fandom, but my point still stands), and yet the people you choose to shit on are the (mostly) younger girls who enjoy a cute shark guy?? bc its ‘cringey’ or whatever the fuck???

miss me w/ that garbage lmao

on that note, instead of complaining that there’s more pics of sidon than female characters (which is a little sad but a lot of people mostly like drawing characters they personally find attractive), why not:

1). draw it yourself or

2). commission one of your favorite artists to do it

because both of those options are much better and more productive than pretending you have some sort of superiority over other people just because you don’t like a character

yes, ten does come from a rich family, but i dont think ten likes to talk about it or wants to be known for THAT (in that one radio program they talked about idols with the ‘golden spoon’ aka idols who come from rich families, or ‘spoiled’ idols, and ten didnt say anything) he wants to be known for other things, like his dancing. he never mentioned the fact that hes rich anywhere, you can only see it through pictures of his GIGANTIC house and the fact that he went to an INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE international school (“its bangkoks most expensive international school, the tuition fee is approximately $25000 per year”)..yet hes so humble and you always see him giving the money he has to charity, or doing things for charity. remember the charity run he was gonna be part of this year? (it was cancelled because of king bhumibols death) or when he won teen superstar and gave all the money he won to charity? ten is such a sweet human being and yes we might know him for his dancing and his playful personality, but i want him to be known for doing these great things as well. ten is so amazing and kind, and he seriously has such a big heart.

i wish that more people would take a page out of miyazaki’s book and actually learn how to deliver a pro-environmental message without coming across as annoyingly preachy or anti-technology and progress

To Recap:

Bad Things Raphael Did:

  • Kidnapped Simon
  • Threatened to kill Simon after the Shadowhunters already attacked him in his own home, literally risked killing Simon themselves, and put everyone in danger by freeing Camille

Good Things Raphael Did:

  • Saved Simon’s life despite considerable personal risk from Camille
  • Saved Simon’s life again despite even more considerable personal risk from Shadowhunters
  • Overthrew Camille as a way of protecting Simon, the clan, and god knows how many innocent mundanes she might otherwise have killed
  • Agreed to train Simon
  • Gave them blood (which he could also have gotten into trouble for)
  • Helped rescue Meliorn even though he had no personal ties to Meliorn
  • Let Simon borrow his clothes
  • Agreed to help the Shadowhunters find the Book of the White, but drew the line at freeing Camille because she was locked up for their own safety

Does this sound like a villain to you?
