How I finally end up getting ready for bed and deciding to sleep:

*Sees Colin Morgan on my Dash for the millionth time*
*Immediately stops scrolling again and stares blankly with wide eyes*

Ah! Look at him! Again! He’s just so - He’s so pretty. Ah. I just. I can’t!

*stands up and gestures wildly at computer*

How? How? I can’t. He’s - I don’t - He’s just - I can’t.

*looks at my bearded dragon who is trying to live his life and ignore me*
*nods to him grimly*

You know? He’s so… You know.

*sighs and sits back down helplessly*

He’s just. I can’t. I can’t. I just can’t.

hunk and lance friendship hcs
  • Hunk and Lance knew each other before the Garrison and have been bffs since childhood
  • Hunk and Lance didn’t meet in the same preschool nor did they ever go to the same school (until the garrison) but met each other in a nearby playground where they continued to meet up for the next 8-11 years of their life, they usually let off steam about the shit that goes down in their schools.
  • “Like, if you’re going to steal something from the mall -” “Don’t wear your uniform?” “EXACTLY. God, that guy was so stupid.” “Agreed.”
  • “Then… then he KICKED the guy’s nose!!! He was bleeding, Lance! He needed to be taken to the hospital!!” “Oh my God, and then what?” “A girl was crying the whole entire time and -” the stories they share go on and on.
  • Lance’s mom and Hunk’s mom are interested in the same things so their sons r bffs and so r they and their moms drag them off sometimes to do grocery shopping but Hunk and Lance are aways ‘can’t we just stay at hoooommmmeeee?’ ‘no you’re going to help me and hunk’s mom buy groceries for our party’ ‘what party????’ ‘a joint family party!!!!’ ‘??????? !!!! A JOINT FAMILY PARTY ????’
  • Hunk’s family and Lance’s family are really close buds now
  • It’s almost surreal how much the two families are alike to interests???
  • Hunk and Lance meet up after graduating middle school and decide to finally enrol in the same school. Both of them couldn’t have been anymore excited and happy.
  • Hunk is Lance’s only tether to Earth because Hunk is childhood and playground days, fighting off bullies and staying up at night under covers and pillow forts, charting stars while laying on muddy grass after rain, stealing cookies when their mothers aren’t looking, and making stupid jokes together as the sun went down – all of their world, quiet and soft and sound.
  • Lance loves Hunk and Hunk loves Lance. They’re best friends, because water breathes life on Earth and what is water without it’s Earth?

dear god i am so sick of girls freaking about ghostbusters the only reason you like the movie is because all the characters are women so shut up already

hello there and let me tell you a thing

The answer to your question is yes, we are absolutely freaking about the fact that all the main protagonists of this movie are women. We are allowed. We’re allowed because I saw two movies this weekend and sat through a combined 45 minutes of trailers. I’m not sure how many that is, I lost count after 12. There was one movie- Suicide Squad- with female protagonists. One. Every other movie trailer featured a male protagonist (one had SEVEN!) with either no female characters or a female secondary character whose purpose in the movie is to advance the male protagonist’s plot and probably to give him a prize at the end for doing a Good Job (the prize is her body).

Guess how many movies had a female lead character. I’ll give you a hint:

In 45 minutes of trailer watching- over a dozen trailers- there was not one movie advertised with even ONE female lead. NOT ONE. NOT A SINGLE MOVIE. IS COMING OUT. IN THE NEXT YEAR. WITH A FEMALE LEAD. NOT. EVEN. ONE.* There sure as hell isn’t another movie with FOUR female protagonists and one male secondary character.

So yes, yes we are excited. Yes, we are screaming, we are freaking out, we are crying tears of joy, because for ONE GODDAMN SECOND we are being validated by the entertainment we are paying for. You can literally have every single other movie that is coming out in the next year and a half, so please shut your mouth and back off so we can enjoy our moment without whiny spoiled entitled children getting upset because only 99% of the content produced by Hollywood this year is for you instead of the usual 100%.

Oh, and Ghostbusters is a really good movie. So suck it.

*you can make the case for Rogue One but that trailer didn’t play and also count for me how many men are going to be surrounding the leading lady and get back to me

What's your opinion on the PH anime?

Pandora Hearts: Brotherhood

Eleni is from Delphi, Greece. On a normal day, while she works in the restaurant of her family or walks on the small alleys of her mountain town, she wears modern clothes.

But once per year, she dresses like this. During Easter, she and her beautiful community celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ as their ancestors used to.

Today Greece still preserves many of its ancient traditions and it’s amazing to see that in a modern country.

I took this photo 10 weeks ago. Now I’m in Berlin with The Atlas of Beauty.

When you’re with Lucio, silence doesn’t last for too long.

It’s like he’s unable to sit silently, like if he doesn’t hum or tap or laugh, maybe the void will swallow him whole. You notice him filling the quiet with something a few times– multiple times, actually. Mostly when the two of you are together, sitting in a companionable silence. At first, it’s the tapping of his nails on a wooden surface that echoes through the silent room. You don’t really mind it. The tapping is rhythmic and enjoyable to listen to, especially when you can figure out if he’s tapping a song or not. It’s a nice background sound that doesn’t draw you away from your book.

When he starts tapping his foot, it gets a tad less enjoyable. Especially when you’re trying to read in the corner of the room and you can still hear him.

The song he’s tapping out isn’t bad. You think you know it. His fingers play the melody while his foot taps a beat, and soon enough you hear quiet humming from the other side of the room. A different song than you originally thought, hummed by a deep baritone, but it’s still pleasant– of course. It’s Lucio humming, so of course it’s pleasant, yet you can’t help but stare at him. Ten minutes, you realize. It was ten minutes in a perfectly silent room with Lucio.

New record.

You vaguely recall the song that he’s humming. It’s something he was working on for awhile, you conclude as he starts the familiar sounds of a beatboxed song. The beat is amazing and the melody is catchy, a popping techno tune that leaves you wanting to hum along too. You’ve heard it many times and you can still hear it in your head when he switches to a different song. It brings you back to summer and happiness. The blind joy of running through a carnival with a friend, or perhaps the explosive feelings of watching fireworks at midnight.

The songs he makes are too good. He’s too talented for his own good. Curse him for being good at what he does. You really want to hum along.

You try to ignore him and get back to your book but the words have become garbled on the page. Your mind refuses to focus on the characters and the only thing you want to see is Lucio performing a new song, strobe lights, fog, fireworks and all. You stare at him, fully expecting him to just get up and dance, but he doesn’t.

He doesn’t look back at you, too engrossed in his song to even notice the staring.

You stare for one more second (two, even) then slam your book together as hard as you can, startling him out of his state. It’s loud. The book you have is a hardcover, about as big as a dictionary, and you have no idea why you’re reading it, but it definitely gets the job done. His eyes flit around for a few seconds before landing on you. He doesn’t smile at you for a second, just stares and stares until he says one thing:

“Do it again,” he says, a wide smile spreading across his face finally. A familiar look on him, yet you’re confused.

You stare at him.

He folds his hands into a book shape and claps them together, “slam the book together again,” he says, then gestures for you to do it.

Confused, you do it again, and the sound resonates throughout the room with the best acoustics you’ve ever heard.

He nods, then smiles, then laughs, as if it’s the best thing he’s ever heard. You stare at each other for a beat, and finally, you get your well deserved silence. It’s cut off by more laughing.

“Alright, alright,” immediately, he jumps out of his chair, running his way over to you, “now you gotta do that, but in time with the beat, alright? You’re gonna be my new beat. It’s easy, don’t worry.”

He holds your shoulders while he explains, gesturing wildly. All you get out of it is ‘hit the book quickly’, so that’s what you do. He starts beatboxing along to it soon enough.

And that’s how you get roped into creating a new song with Lucio when all you wanted was a silent day (but you wouldn’t have it any other way).

*orlando shooting happens*

my mom: *doesn’t mention anything*

me: hmmmm

*dallas shooting happens*

my mom, immediately: did you hear about those cops who got shot at a protest

me: oh no?? what protest?

my mom: *doesn’t answer/gets distracted/probably doesn’t know*

me: HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

One of the reason I haven’t been well is that I haven’t been spending time with him. When I distance myself, I show God I want to do it on my own. So he let’s me, to show me how far I can get without him. It’s good though, sort of. Grown up in a loving, but distant family, where you’ve not learned to cope with your feelings, makes it difficult to be close and open with God. So he teaches me how to be close. Now I can see its a good thing. I’m learning, and seeing it’s amazing to open up. New flowers will bloom in places you never expected them too. I’m blessed.
