KARKAT: SSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

KARKAT: HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

KARKAT: IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

KARKAT: IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

Four pages of just the word “SSSHHHHIIIIITTT.”

Let’s be real, that’s a pretty fair reaction.

Also, I may not be certain that Jade knew about the troll taboo surrounding buckets when she gave that pail to John. She never discussed it with the trolls on screen, but she had a lot of conversations with them that we didn’t see. But I am damn sure that she aimed it at Karkat’s head when she was deciding where to let the portal out.

This is still the best moment in the entirety of Act 6 Intermission 1, hands-down.

The best part is that Karkat didn’t even see John throwing the bucket, so it’s like the bucket appears out of nowhere to Karkat. And the bucket is also very appropriate, what with how Karkat had mentioned how everyone seemed to be hitting on eachother already. :P

Karkat must have thought it was a sign of the gods at first. xD

But seriously, everything about this is just perfect. Karkat’s face expressions, the bucket appearing out of nowhere, Karkat’s text, and also the way in which the scene almost seems to be played out in slowmotion.
