A/N: Guys!!!! This is the last part of Skyline. Like, for real this time. I’m so sad to see it end, but I’m also so happy that it’s had such success, and I can’t thank you guys enough for that. You are all so so wonderful, and you have all my love. As usual, I want to give a shout out to Zoe and Jen for reading my drafts and helping me edit and brainstorm, as well as encouraging me to write. As for all of you, I hope you’ll forgive me for all the angst that I’ve hit you guys with (remember when Skyline was self-indulgent fluff lmao), and I really hope this makes up for it a bit. In other news, tonight is the Spidereyhes Sleepover!!!!!!!! All the info on the sleepover can be found here, as well as info about the livestream, which will start at 7pm PST. I’ll post the link on here!! Zoe, Jen, and I will be discussing all kinds of things, answering questions, and talking about Skyline, so be sure to drop by!!! Also, if you have any questions about Skyline or anything else that you want answered, send it in!!!! It’s not too late yall. Again, thank you so much, and I hope you’ve enjoyed Skyline as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it.
Sitting up in your bed, you stared at the window, not
sure of how to react to seeing Spider-Man’s masked face through the glass. Throwing back your covers, you quietly walked
over to the window, grabbing a hoodie that Peter had lent you as you passed
your desk. Sliding the glass panel up,
you climbed out onto the metal fire escape, slipping on and zipping up Peter’s
hoodie to protect you from the cold.
The superhero stood where he had first stood, the
night he saved your life and blew up Vizzini’s all those months ago. And there, to his right, were the flower pots
that he had tripped over the first time he came back for you. Those stairs were where you would sit and
draw while he watched your fingers fly across the page, amazed at the pictures
you created. Behind him was the railing
that you would lean against as you looked at the Queens skyline together. This fire escape was your entire relationship
condensed, the one location where you were allowed to be with each other. If you used your imagination, you could
almost see every single night playing out in front of your eyes. Spider-Man, with a bendy straw underneath his
mask. Spider-Man, attempting to draw you
in the moonlight. Spider-Man, his hand
on your waist and the other in your hair.
No one better than Jen to explain the meaning of each dress and the importance of the last one:
“This is the first time that Emma is wearing something that’s softer and gentler and sweeter and romantic. To me, that was really important, because I wanted it to be symbolic of something very different than the other times we’ve seen her on a date. We’ve seen her with the guy who was a perpetrator that she was after and that was a ruse, that was her just playing a character in order to catch this guy. So she sorta played the stereotypical ‘date’ look. And then we saw her on a date Walsh when she was in New York and she was still having to make her own way and she was a single mom and she was into black leather there’s something still kinda tough and edgy about that. And now, she really likes this guy and she’s very genuine about it and it needs to be something that she found in Storybrooke, because she wouldn’t have had something like that in her wardrobe, so it needs to look like it could have come from Storybrooke, but it also needs to look like something that she feels comfortable in. It’s definitely the softest, most romantic side of her and the fact that she feels safe enough and inspired to express that part of herself to him, I think was a really important thing to show.”
The band wanted nature and they suggested the image of digging up an empty box. I built a story from there. The story is very personal to me. I pulled from my own life experience to build the story. I also wanted to leave it open to interpretation so that it also felt personal to the viewers.
I just want the 3 of you to stay friends…and I hope you stay in touch. Never forget what you mean to each other and the effect that you’ve had on each other’s lives. So friendship can really never be over or underestimated.
One last set before work <3 my buddy Jen wanted Esme and Meg kissing, but seeing as Herc’s entire face takes up Meg’s in their scene, I tried my hand at a shot I’ve seen done before and wanted to do myself. The background is a random photo that came with my mp3 player, with the brushstrokes effect slapped on top.
A/N: This was written for Jen’s Disney Challenge AKA @deanjensengirlmaggie. The movie
I chose was Sleeping Beauty. This didn’t really turn out how I originally
planned but I think it turned out OK, not great but fine I guess. As always
feedback is welcomed and if you want to be added to my tag list let me know.
BTW Happy Birthday Jen. Oh, and just ignore the crappy little intro to smut at
the end. It’s awful I know. That was my first attempt at something sexual so
please be gentle. Enjoy! Also please ignore any mistakes I did my own editing and did a crappy job as im tired as hell
Summary: When you and the guys go after a witch in
Anaheim with a Disney fetish you get caught in the crossfire. With you under a
sleeping curse and the guys having only 72 hours to track down and kill the
witch for the cure to work, will they be able to make it in time to save you?
More importantly, will Dean’s true love’s kiss work to wake you up?
I just wanted to write an RPG AU yesterday which included all the streamers associated with VS and now it looks more like a pitch for a purposely ridiculous fangame; feel free to edit this to include a read-more because holy fuckballs is it long
AU where there’s a mountainside castle called Vinefort. The town is known for two things: the local cuisine, especially the sauce made of mushrooms that grow nowhere else on the planet, and the terrifying monsters that roam the area at night. At best, they just deafen you with shrill cries or cause seizures if you look at them directly. At worst, they randomly pass through walls to get at you, or detach their gaping maws or claws.
The worst part, though? Even if you don’t die, you run a risk of mutating - or as the locals call it, becoming one of the ‘Glitch’. Those Glitches who became part-animal (i.e. Limes, Hootey, Direboar and Fred) may have gotten some new opportunities since their transformation, but what about the poor man who turned into a potato and needs a mecha to get around?
… I digress. Where there are monsters, there are hunters. Three hunters are especially infamous. Joel the warlock came from a faraway land to hunt monsters for sport; turning into a Glitch saved him from death in an unfortunate guitar shredding accident (don’t ask) at the cost of his skin and muscles melting away. The local priest (Reverend, if you will) is an elusive person who’s either holed up in his room painting or hunting; some think he heals people through the power of faith, others point out that he never does his priest duties, meaning it’s more likely he’s a benevolent Glitch who spreads his mutation of “inner anatomy makes no fucking sense” to victims before performing his surgeries. And then there’s Vinny, a seemingly normal bard whose voice sometimes breaks in such unnatural manner that he must be a Glitch - yet he’s the head hunter.
But one day, Vinny’s just gone. His friends, Jen and Imakuni, go to the castle’s owner (who may have a royalty complex and prefer to be called the King… KY) to ask for help with finding him. All he can do is advise them to team up with as many people as possible - including himself. And then they all go out on this adventure to save Vinny, and all that jazz.
BONUS: Mike would also be an available team member from the start, and GeePM would be an optional enemy (sided by Huggbees?) who’d join the party after defeat.
….this is… FUCKING AMAZING??? AND I LOVE IT???? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHOWING BECAUSE H OLY FUCK
