It’s done! How many months have I been working on this?
Anyhow, here is the finished inn. I have named it The Tower for obvious reasons. As I’ve already posted finished shots of the bottom two floors, I’m only posting the completed roof and the tower.
So first up is a shot of the whole inn together (along with a Satyxis Sea Witch presumably casting Dark Magicks from the tower battlements). Then a shot of the top tower piece, showing the damage to the battlement section. Next is a shot of the interior of the tower at the roof level. I wanted to do something a bit different so I decided on a little story whereby a sneaksy thief, probably escaping with the landlord’s takings, headed for the tower just at the wrong time and got a hefty load of stone blocks to the bonce. And here he lies for eternity!
In retrospect, making the rood like I did was horribly complex, but I think it’s been worth it. The middle of the roof can be taken off to allow minis to be put inside the unused attic space.
Altogether, a long ol’ project, but I think it’s a really imposing centrepiece and I love it!
Coming up soon, more terrain! :D
