I had just come out the shower and was now chilling in my boxers. There I was
laying in my bed watching the Justice League DVD on a Saturday night while my
room mate was out having fun at the club on this rainy night. In my opinion,
this was a better way to spend my night instead of going out in the rain to get
sick. I am Derek, a slender light skinned black male with brown eyes. I’m not
much of a party enthusiast as most in my age category of 18 are but I am human
and my dick was starting to make me aware of that fact as it ascended from
slumber. If you haven’t guessed already, I’m a virgin. I lowered the TV volume and just as I was about to give it some
attention, there was a text notification sound on my phone .
Me (Derek Towers)
My friend AJ
hit me up on whatsapp. Now AJ was an attractive guy with an amazing ass and
what I had to guess was a pretty good size dick. I could only imagine as I saw
the outline once while we were on the beach. AJ was an easygoing fellow about a
year older than myself. We met at my job at the hotel where I was a waiter and
he was a lifeguard. He was cool and we got along great but he was ridiculously
homophobic and there was no way I was going to let him know that I played for
conversation, I still had my little problem. I opened the tumblr app on my
phone and scrolled down looking at sexy guys for hours, occasionally watching
some porn video. Eventually, I saw a new story by my favorite author @morrisondauthor
entitled “Freak by Night 7: Freaky Sneaky.” His stories are always so
sexy that I find myself ejaculating before I get to the end. I get so upset
when he takes a while to post his stories because they give me life and take me
to a world I could never imagine. For some reason, the context usually gets me
hornier than the images he uses. I got to the good part and it made me so close
to my climax when my phone notification alarmed me. If you haven’t guessed, it
was AJ letting me know he got home safely. He went on to tell me about his
night and how he had four rounds of sex with his date in her car and she came
all 4 times. I was so jealous, I was trying to come once to satisfy myself and
he interrupted me boasting about his extravagant time. Now all I had in my mind
were images of his sexy ass f***ing her sexy ass in the car and my vivid
imagination made me ten times hornier. I had to get my nut so I told him the

dignify him with a response. Instead I went to the living room and sat in the
couch with nothing on but my boxer briefs. My dick stuck fully erect through
the hole in my boxers and I jacked away once again replaying Morrison’s story
in my head imagining it was me coming down the stairs to a sexy surprise. The
sound of the thunderstorm outside with sprinkles of rain violently pelleting
the window fueled my hormones and I could feel my balls ready to release the
seed from their constraints. Suddenly there was a loud crash at my doorstep
synonymous with a lightning bolt outside which ignited fear into my heart and
caused me to forget that I was horny. Cautiously I approached the door and
peered through the peep hole to notice nobody standing in the hallway. Still my
curiosity wouldn’t let me rest so I opened the door ready to put my self
defense skills to the test if I needed it. Imagine my disappointment when I
viewed my roommate, Kevin wet from head to toe lying at our doorstep in the
fetal position. He appeared to be highly intoxicated and since he doesn’t have
a car, I can only assume that a Good Samaritan literally dropped him at the
door. As the epinephrine wore off, I started to realize that I was once again
disturbed from achieving my natural high.
Even though I
was upset, I couldn’t leave him there like that so I dragged him inside. Like
AJ, Kevin was straight, usually requesting that I keep the “gay shit” to
myself. Yes, he knew about me. I’ve known him since we were kids because we
were neighbors and grew up living in each other’s homes. When I found out that
I had a taste for both girls and boys, I was around 13 and Kevin was the only
person I told at the time. His reaction to the news could have been better. He
called me a faggot and stormed out of my house. We didn’t speak for weeks
afterward. Eventually he came to me randomly one day and apologized. I couldn’t
forgive him and asked him to leave letting him know just how much he hurt me.
He didn’t give up though and proved himself from that day forth that he wanted
to be my best friend again. He fought off bullies, walked with me home from
school and acted like the friend he was before I told him. I forgave him after
a while and we were boys again. He constantly tries to get me to go out and drink
with him but like I said before, I really don’t have a taste for it. We got
this apartment when we moved to Florida for college and we get along well
despite his occasional battles with alcoholism. Even so, it’s never been this
bad.Kevin loved the gym and he worked out every weekday evening at 5 and went
jogging every morning at 6. He took his physical health very seriously which is
why I never understood why he drank alcohol. He also managed to maintain above
average grades for his track and field scholarship at UCF.
I lifted Kevin
off the floor and even though he was rather heavy, got him to the bathtub and
removed the wet clothes from his barely responsive body. I haven’t seen him
naked since we took baths together as kids but when I saw his naked body I had
to step back and admire the marvelous muscular masterpiece. My eyes wandered to
his dick which wasn’t even hard yet his uncircumcised attachment was 7 inches
long and fatter towards the base. I finally snapped back into reality left to
get a glass of warm water and an empty bucket in case he vomited. I ran some
warm water in the bathtub and thoroughly bathed him. I couldn’t believe I was
cleaning a grown man, but I didn’t want him to go into hypothermia. Not only
was he drunk, but he was also wet from the cold rain. He started to gain a reasonable
level of consciousness.

I gave him an
aspirin and the glass of warm water and watched him take it.
“You were wet

would you rather get a cold or die from dehydration and hypothermia?”
He sucked his
teeth, “you didn’t have to remove my boxers.”
“Hey if it’s

“Get out,” he
said covering his private area.

I was right
there to catch him with a towel and prevent him from falling. I began to dry
his body when he smartly remarked, “I can do it myself you know”
I removed my
body support and he dropped to the ground barely breaking his fall with his

yours?” I teased.
I assisted him to his bedside and helped him slide on his boxers.
“I feel so embarrassed,” he admitted
“Why? It’s just us here, chill.”
“This is not fair. You’ve seen me naked now and I even got hard,” he slapped his face in embarrassment.
“We used to bathe together all the time, washing each other’s backs and laughing at each other’s nakedness. What’s the big deal?”
He couldn’t make eye contact and stayed quiet so after sucking my teeth, I slid off my boxers, threw them to the side and danced around in a circle wagging my dick from left to right.
“Woah!” He exclaimed.
“Now I don’t have on anything. Are you happy now?”
He laughed hysterically, “that’s not what I meant.”
“Go to bed.” I helped him lay down and covered him with a warm blanket.
I turned around to leave but to my surprise, he grabbed my hand, “Please, don’t leave me again.”
“Again? I never left you.”
He burst into tears, “yes you did. When I called you by that word and you got upset with me, I didn’t know what to do with myself. I never wanted to lose my best friend. Those were the hardest months of my life, I never even cried over a girl like that.”
Confused, all I could say was, “This must be the alcohol talking.” I turned to leave again.
“Please!” He shouted.
“Okay, okay, just don’t yell like that again. The neighbors are sleeping.”
“Sleep here tonight.”
“If that would make you feel better, fine, but don’t vomit on me please.” I went to the corner to get my boxers.
“You don’t need those.”
Once again, confused but internally contented. I happily obliged, turned off the light went on the other side of his queen sized bed, pulling the covers over my exposed body.
The sound of rain pattering on the window echoed in the room and I was falling asleep. Unexpectedly, I felt a warm gentle touch on my dick that slammed the emergency brake of the train to dreamland. My dick was being massaged by none other than my best friend. I silently protested in my head not wanting to disturb the amazing sensation I was feeling which caused me to leak pre-ejaculation fluid. My brain finally gained control and I managed to stop him.
“Wait, what are you doing?”
“Shh. Just let it happen.”
“Now you sound like a rapist. This has to be the alcohol affecting you. You are not in your right frame of mind.” I got up and as I was standing up to leave, he pulled my hand and I landed supine right on the side of him. He lay against me leaning on his side I could see the shadow of his head in front of me and I could feel he was staring at me. Lightning flashed and I saw the look in his eyes that paralyzed me for that moment. I felt the heat radiating from his head increasing in intensity as he slowly approached my face. I felt like Chris from Get Out in the hypnosis scene, helplessly watching this happen through the windows of my eyes. When the eternity passed and he connected with my lips, the curtains closed but I could sense the brightest flashes of lightning outside. I regained control and participated in the best kiss of my life. Opening our eyes and pulling apart met us with nature’s fireworks applauding our performance.
“Wow,” we chorused.
He grabbed my body and brought me into a passionate make out session, rubbing his well toned body against mine allowing me to once again feel it’s shape, this time against my own. He went down to the left side of my neck and started sucking on it while rubbing his hands all over my back down to my bare ass. I hate hickeys but the euphoria was too intense to stop. I felt electricity flowing through my body as he continued. He kissed his way down to my left nipple and I expressed a soft moan. It felt like there was a string directly attached to the pleasure nerves in my dickhead. He continued kissing down my abs until he got to my pubic hairs and he got up. My eyes opened reacting to the sudden pause. We breathed deeply and synchronized.
“I never did anything with a dude before,” he admitted
“I’m still a virgin,” I countered.
I felt my face blush with embarrassment only to be aroused with pleasure at the immediate moist warm sensation that came from the head of my dick. Did he really just put my dick in his mouth? I looked down and he continued down the nine and a half inch solid shaft managing to get half of it in his mouth. That was the most mind blowing feeling in my life.
“You sure you never did this before?”
He chuckled and continued up and down repetitively sending me to a new level of heaven. He paused again and I couldn’t handle any more suspense. I reversed our positions and did exactly as he did to me in the same sequence. I thought my reaction was intense but as I sucked his neck his hands went all over my body and their favorite place was my ass. I worked my way to his nipples and he let out the sexiest deep moan that I couldn’t compare to all my years of watching porn. It send jolts through my body causing me to be extra turned on. I couldn’t take it anymore, I had to know what that dick tasted like. I skipped his abs and went straight to his pubic hairs which like mine were short lavishing in the musk they produced. I licked his dick from the base along the underside to the tip where I licked around the head tasting the pheromones produced. I experimented sticking my tongue in the entrance and he jumped.
“That was intense!” he smiled
I continued taking his head in my throat and he rewarded me with another deep moan. I continued my assault down the shaft attempting to go as far as I could. I made it as far as about 3 inches when ii felt my teeth hit his skin and I pulled back thinking about how much that hurt.
“Easy with the teeth baby”
Baby? If I wasn’t black I’m sure my face would be an apple right now. I tried again, this time opening my mouth as wide as I could and I made it down 5 inches of his eleven before I started to choke and retreat for air. He moaned again and that made me determined to get to the base. I went for it again this time holding my breath and swallowing as I went down fighting hard to resist the urge to cough. I think I made it as far as 9 inches that time but it was as far as I could possibly go. He let out another deep moan lasting longer than any of the predecessors.
“Damn baby no girl ever committed to going that far down.”
I was happy to satisfy him but after that I went up and down taking in only what I could manage, slobbering all over that sexy tool of his. After a few minutes, he pulled my head up and lead me in another intense kiss.
“I want to make love to you baby.” He stared intimately at me.
“I want to fuck you.”
“You gotta let me fuck you too”
“No way I’m letting you anywhere near my ass with that thing.” He protested
“And I’m supposed to let you in mine?”
“Yeah but I love you and I want to prove it to you by taking your virginity.”
“I love you too and you can prove your love by letting me fuck you and take your virginity as well”
“I’m not a virgin.”
“Your ass is.”
“You always did have a smart mouth. It’s one of your most attractive qualities.”
“Well, the ball is in your court”
“Ugh….Okay, just go easy on me please.”
“I could say the same.”
“Okay turn over.”
“Umm no. We need to do a couple things to prepare first”
“We? Things like what?”
“Yes we! Come on, I’ll show you”
I went in my bedroom and grabbed my fleet. It’s a good thing I got two new bottles just in case a miracle happened. Didn’t think I’d get to use them so soon. I researched online how to prepare a long time ago and even practiced a couple of times. I taught Kevin what to do and after a while we were ready. We returned to his bedroom and turned his desk lamp on dimly. The patter of the rain was the only sound for a brief moment.
“That felt wierd,” he complained.
“Well there’s one more step we have to take,” I handed him the tube of lube.
“Hold on no need to rush just yet, I want to taste that ass first,” He kissed me intently then moved both of my legs up and attacking my asshole like it was his last meal. I don’t know which was better, that blowjob or the other level he was sending me to while he ate me. I felt his tongue go places that I didn’t know anything could. All of a sudden, I had this epileptic episode I couldn’t control. I was so weak after he finally finished with me. He grabbed the lube and inserted a finger inside my hole to open me up. He worked his second finger in there. and was about to enter.
“You better go up to 4 fingers, that thing is huge”
The third finger hurt like pins and needles. and the fourth was even worse. I really thought I was bleeding. He waited until I was comfortable, somehow managing to remain hard during the entire exercise. I guess he was as horny as I was. He entered me in the missionary position and I felt a sudden sharp pain as he passed my sphincter that sent kilojoules of electricity through my body. I cried and wanted to stop but he held me down and comforted me,
“Relax baby, just relax.”
I took slow deep breaths until the pain eased and he did not move. He waited until I was comfortable before he continued penetrating me at a steady pace. He didn’t go all the way in but he started a slow rhythm with about three inches of his massive meat. He only went further when I was in agreement. I stopped the rhythm and pushed him on his back without severing our connection. Gently I lowered myself onto his rod taking inch by inch until to my surprise, I fit the whole thing in there. I was so proud I almost didn’t notice the euphoric look on Kevin’s face.
“Damn baby, you sexy as f***,” he complimented.
I began a steady rhythm on him and I could feel him hitting my spot every time. Our session went on for a while. We went in every position we could imagine possible until he had me on my belly leaning against the edge of the bed drilling me.
“Hold on baby, you’re going to make me come,” I warned.
“That’s the plan baby,” he smirked.
I realized what he was trying to do and used every will power I had to stop myself from coming and resist him, ending that part of our session.
“You think you’re slick. I’m f***ing your ass tonight.” I retaliated.
He had a look of disappointment on his face but he lie back, removed his condom and succumbed to my wishes. He lie on his back rolling his eyes and pulled his leg up to reveal the prettiest pink spot I’ve ever seen in my life (only one I saw in person but it didn’t compare to anything in porn). I had to treat something so precious with the utmost care. I gently licked it for a few minutes before I let my tongue explore every delicious crevice of his ass it could reach. I imagine his ass would taste like ass but his was surprisingly sweet. I stuck my tongue inside and was shocked when I heard a deep moan escape his lips. I guess he was enjoying this as much as I was. I continued until I tasted something extra sweet and when I looked at it, it was a white fluid. I think he came from his ass. Damn I made him cream from eating him. I couldn’t believe it. His ass was moister than my tongue and I tasted as much as I could before grabbing the bottle of lube. I didn’t think I’d need it but I did not want to hurt him nor did I want him to chicken out. I inserted 2 of my fingers and they went in without a struggle. I had to fight with the third and fourth because his ass had a constant death grip on them. I positioned myself for entry and took it slow with him, exercising as much care as he did me. Like myself, he seemed to experience discomfort with the infiltration of the head. So I repeated the process and let him get used to it. After a while, he told me to go ahead. I started a slow rhythm and carefully eased inch by inch into him until i was working 5 inches inside him. Without warning, he reversed the situation and put himself on top like I did. He started riding me. I was speechless but it felt so good when he slammed all the way down onto my dick taking all of it. He looked so sexy, I watched as his pecks vibrated and his ass jiggled moving up and down on me. He was so sexy I wanted to cry at the beauty I was beholding. His mouth was wide open and his eyes closed with his head tilted back moaning. He was enjoying this as much as I was. Once again we had another session with multiple positions until I was backshotting him. He creamed on my dick again throughout the experience. It felt so good, I knew I would climax soon. He tried to run but I managed to pull him back every time. He said it was too intense and he couldn’t take much more, begging me to cum.
“What’s my name?”
“Wrong!” I violently pounded him.
“What’s my name?”
“I don’t know.” He cried.
“Yea you do,” I pounded harder, “what’s my name?”
“Supreme (moan) Overlord (moan) Towers,” he cried out in pleasure. With those words, 2 weeks of tension building erupted into the condom flooding it with life fluid. I came for a minute straight. I didn’t even know that was possible. The condom had the most cum I’ve ever seen in my life inside and I have know idea how all that fit in there. I looked down to see that Kevin came too. His sheets were soaked in his liquid release. There was so much I was sure he produced more than I did. We struggled to catch our breaths for bout five minutes. It was still raining and we took a shower together and had another make out session. We dried off and went to my room in our birthday suits. He spooned me and we had a long intense discussion even though it was now 3 in the morning.
“I wanted to do that for a long time,” he admitted.
“Why didn’t you?”
“I was afraid.”
“Of what? I’m your best friend.”
“I don’t know. I panicked that day you told me and the reason I freaked out is because I didn’t know how to react. I developed feelings for you and didn’t know how to express myself.”
“All these years and you wait until now to tell me. So what now?”

The night starts with a big, spicy Philly cheese steak. It’s about 6pm. I’ve been wanting to try the cheese steak from this corny, 50’s retro place for a long time. I gobble down the big greasy bowl of meat, hot sauce, and cheese, then head to the coffee shop for my weekly draw group. A little after I get home, about 10pm, a stomach ache comes on. “Damn, guess spicy foods are out.” I’ve been getting stomach aches every time I have spicy Thai or hot wings. I google search about spice pain- possible stomach ulcer? “I guess I have been stressed lately, but no more than usual I don’t think…” File under “Will investigate further later.“ According to the comments on this health website, a glass of milk will help. Gulp one down, go to bed.
Wrestle to sleep for about an hour. Realize the ache is just over the required pain threshold to keep you from sleeping. Do some work on my comic, more tired, but stomach worse. Will play batman until I fall asleep. I feel like I’m just running in circles… How many times have I failed this mission? Batman, batman, stomach now hurts too bad to enjoy an active task like video games. Deliriously tired. Would be great to sleep through the rest of this abdominal temper tantrum. Try the old “hot shower will make you sleep” trick. Take some Pepto-Bismol, and some generic acetaminophen. Out of the shower, hurts to walk around now, and to lie down. Guess I’ll have to wait it out with my eyes open. Call and leave my Doc a message, maybe will get a spot in there tomorrow. Need to get that ulcer discovered… Time to enjoy a passive task like watching TV. Breaking Bad feels like the right mixture of funny and painful, just like me and my burning spice belly. Damn, I can’t even enjoy that part where during Hank’s interrogation of that meth head, Wendy, she accuses Hank of trying to buy sexual services from her on behalf of an underage “football player” (a misunderstanding involving Walter Jr. from a few episodes before). Oh hell. Time to look up what time emergency medical clinics open. Guess I’ll have to pay out of pocket since I can’t wait for my Doc tomorrow. It’s about 4am now. Earliest clinic opens at 8. Now hungry again, but can’t eat what with all the pain. One hour down. Man, this is really starting to hurt. Can I really wait 3 more hours? Sitting is starting to hurt as much as lying and standing. And I’m still not enjoying TV. Okay, I’ve come to a decision….
“Hey, Kayla, my stomach still hurts, I’m thinking about driving to the ER, do you wanna come?” “Oh! Ya, sure. What time is it?” “It’s 5:30”. I call the hospital “Hey, I’ve had a pretty bad stomach ache all night, I’m thinking of coming by.” Operator: *long pause* “Haha, well, okay! We’re open all night, so just come on in.”
Driving with a stomach ache is not so bad, because you’re already hunched over. Wish Kayla could drive, but she doesn’t really know how, probably would have a panic attack and would definitely crash. Interesting that they have ER parking, I wonder how many ER patients drive themselves here… All bodily positions hurt my insides now, signing in to this place sucks. Give Kayla half the paperwork to fill out, glad she’s here, or this would be really boring. Man, they sure take a long time for someone trying to get into an empty emergency room… Signing in with a nurse, she ask me my height and I say “ ‘5’’8”, but I notice she puts down “ ‘5’’7”… They want to look at my pee, they always want to see my pee. I pee, no blood, so whatever that tells them means I’m getting an ultrasound first. Then a young nurse named Ken, a cool Asian dude with screws through both ears, squirts so much morphine into my IV that I lean back and audibly say “oh my god.” I feel it ripple like a shock wave from my arm down to the ends of my body. My belly is feeling alright now.
The ultrasound technician tells me that babies are the least common thing she uses ultrasounds for. My joke has fallen flat. Back in the room, the doctor and his manila folder tell me “Good news! No gallstones, there are kidney stones inside your kidneys, but since they are inside, you shouldn’t be feeling the pain from those.” “Wait, does that mean I have to pee those stones out at some poin–” It is not discussed again. Seeing that neither organ has the appropriate stones, Doc would “rather not expose me to more radiation than necessary” and is working on discharging me. But, “I won’t leave here without a diagnosis.”
In I go to the CT scan tube. That hot squish of contrast dye spreading through my veins. “Okay, we’re moving you into a room upstairs.” Says a hippy technician. Upstairs in my sweet and swanky single with couch, a person I’m pretty sure is just a businessman disguised in medical scrubs types on a computer. He takes down my answers to what seem like pre-surgery questions. “Do you have anybody specific on file in the event you are medically unable to yield consent for yourself?” This, combined fact that they won’t feed me, makes me wonder what it is I’m going into surgery for. I saw this same thing about a year and a half ago with the whole brain debacle, but that’s a story for another time. Several medical people dip in, sprinkle breadcrumbs of information; it’s like a game show challenge that combines a scavenger hunt with a jigsaw puzzle. You have to gather the pieces of information from their hiding places, then assemble them in the correct order to reveal an answer. A tech comes in and spoils the game, “You seem to have a lot of questions, so I just want to make sure, you know you have appendicitis right? We’re about to take it out.” “Thank god,” I think. “It’s not the spicy foods. Spicy foods are still in.” Downstairs, in pre-op, I complain to my plain-clothes surgeon about how analog tests like pressing on my stomach are remarkably inaccurate, since a doctor’s subjective interpretation of my poor description of say, “the pain is slightly higher” can rule out appendicitis, the same appendicitis that a machine might spot an hour later. I tell him that I almost got sent home. My surgeon tells me he’s been doing analogue tests for 30 years, and not to worry about it. I start to tell him how “my deadpan reaction to pain also causes a lot of people to misdiagnose me, that a lot of people laugh when I describe how I’m in pai–”, but he walks away in the middle to get dressed for surgery. The operating room has big TVs and lights, it looks like a set, and I consider the possibility of fake hospitals as the anesthesia takes the wheel.
In the recovery area, the nurse tells me how big, inflamed appendixes can be agitated by spicy foods, foods high in fat, and dense foods like heavy cheese. I see an image of a spotlit cheese steak appear in a black void. Nurse feeds me ice chips and tells me she craves ice chips when she’s dehydrated. I suggest that she only craves ice chips because she works in a hospital, that ice chips are too unsatisfying a thing to crave at random, and that most people would just crave water. She agrees. Back upstairs in my room, it is now 8pm, and it has been 26 hours since I’ve eaten. I’ve been hydrated only through IV’s. The driest mouth and the clearest pee. Because the lingering anesthetic can cause nausea and vomiting, they will only give me jello. I go nuts on the jello. They continue to give me every jello I ask for, one at a time, like a test. Way past where I though the cutoff point would be, the nurse tells me “That’s it! There’s no more jello! You ate all the jello on this floor.” You’re damn right I did, you’re damn right….

“So Alpha, tell me do you get jealous often?” You asked Scott leaning against the coffee table swirling your finger on the wood softly. He looked at you and down at your finger movements before meeting your eyes, his glowing red eyes staring back at your eyes “No what would give you that idea, the fact that my eyes or red, or that I was removed from the lacrosse field?” He asked cocking his neck slightly. He was fuming with anger, claws showing, red eyes, heavy breathing kind of anger and you knew exactly why, you looked down to what you were wearing “Does the jersey bother you that much that you went Alpha on the field? Scott , he’s a child.” You said gesturing to Liam’s jersey looking at Scott which only angered him more.
“Yeah, a child whose jersey is wrapped around my girlfriend’s body.” Scott said lowly approaching you carefully until his hands were lying on both of your sides resting against the coffee table “If you scratch Coach’s desk, he’s going to flip.” You asked softly staring into Scott’s eyes “You think I give a shit about his desk? I give more of a shit of why YOU’RE wearing his jersey.” Scott said leaning closer to your face causing you to hold your breath. You didn’t want to tell him the truth because it was only going to anger him more, and after the anger had settled he would hate himself for not being there, just as you were going to open your mouth.
“NO LIES. THE TRUTH (Y/N)!” He yelled causing you to jump in fright but he didn’t care at this point all he saw was red. “I.. I was attacked on my way to the game.. some guys came and tried to .. tried to hurt me… Liam was walking to the game.. he saw them.. as the tried to … hurt me.. he saved.. me.. Scott .. he saved me..” was all you said before sliding down to the floor, tears had began to stream down your face, you couldn’t control your fear, your hurt, your feelings. “Baby.. I .. I’m so sorry..” Scott said sinking to the floor sitting in front of you, without thinking you threw yourself into his arms and continued to cry.
“I was so scared Scott.. I felt so useless..” you said softly through your tears, Scott sat you in his lap cooing at you, while stroking your hair trying his best to calm you down “I’m sorry I wasn’t there baby.. I’m sorry you went through that.. I’m sorry I didn’t trust you..” he kept repeating as he softly rocked you. “Jealous or not McCall.. I love you.” You said softly as he kissed your forehead “This is so much better than watching you play lacrosse.” You said laughing causing Scotts chest to throw a fit of laughter.
“Man, I am on lucky guy huh?” He said kissing your hair, holding you tightly to him, protecting you.
Malia Tate. Must you continue. Ever since you and Stiles had gotten together she was always showing up at Stiles’ house asking him for help and of course since your lovable, sweet and oblivious boyfriend couldn’t see that she was just doing it on purpose he didn’t put a stop to helping her. You knocked on Stiles door to hear rustling and a couple of giggles just as you were going to open the door, Malia swung it open with a smile on her face “Hello (Y/N). We were just talking about you.” She said smiling at you which made you feel weird on the inside, as you looked over to Stiles you noticed it immediately. A kiss mark. On his cheek.
“It seems I’m interrupting something. If you’ll excuse me.“ You said turning around, running out of Stiles house trying to keep your tears at a minimum ”(Y/N)! Wait up babe! What the hell!“ He said catching you and pulling you back to him "Why are you leaving?” He asked looking at you confused, you said nothing but point to his cheek, he raised his eyebrow grabbing his phone to see what was on his cheek “Babe. Seriously?” Was all he said, just as you were going to walk away he grabbed your hand “Baby, Scott’s mom came by earlier, she gave me this kiss. Malia even mentioned it to.. wait, you thought?” He asked drifting away.
“No, baby I would never cheat on you.” He said wrapping an arm around your waist pulling yourself closer to him “So why have you a Malia been hanging out all week then?” You asked softly not trusting your own voice. “What’s today? Thursday right? Isn’t there something really important going on this exact Thursday?” He asked looking around and then it hit you “Shit.” was all you said before slapping your forehead “Yeah, so busy thinking I was cheating on you, you forgot. 6 months.” He said pulling you towards his house.
“Okay but that doesn’t explain Malia.” You said standing your ground on the fact while walking to his house “You’ll see.” He said before covering your eyes with his hands carefully walking you into his house, usually you would be amused but you weren’t exactly in the mood to receive a surprise. “Ready? 3…2…1..” you heard Stiles whisper in your ear as you opened your eyes to reveal a beautiful candlelit dinner “I couldn’t get the reservation in time, so Malia helped me with the idea. I don’t know how but that’s why we were spending more time together baby.. do you like it?” He asked fidgeting with his hands waiting for your reaction, you grabbed his hands looking up at him “Baby, I love it.” You said tiptoeing to kiss him.
“No reason to be jealous baby. You have my all.” He said holding you tightly kissing you once more before ushering you to your seat “I better Stilinski.” You said sitting in your seat, looking over at Malia, Scott and Liam “They will be serving us tonight.” Stiles said smirking causing you to laugh “Oh god, this is an anniversary I’m afraid you won’t be able to top.” You said laughing hysterically.
“Oh my love , trust me. I will.” He said taking you hand and placing a gentle kiss on it giving you a quick wink. Now you had to see what else Stiles had up his sleeve.
You were waiting on the steps of Beacon Hills High waiting for Derek to come pick you up, like he promised but as twenty minutes passed you felt less and less sure that he would be coming at all “Hey, (Y/N) still waiting?” You heard Isaac say as he sat next to you on the steps with his lacrosse gear “Practice is already over?” You said in pure shock, watching Isaac slowly nod his head trying not to screw Derek over. “I’ve been waiting for an hour and a half and he’s still not here.” You said giving up hope that he was coming at all, you grabbed your things in defeat “Hey, let me walk you home.” Isaac said grabbing your bag that felt like pure rocks.
“Thanks Isaac.” You said leaning into his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around your waist “It’s okay, I’m sure he has a good reason (Y/N/N).” He said softly as if praying Derek had a good reason. The walk was quiet but that was alright because you weren’t really in the mood to talk about anything and Isaac understood that seeing as it was the third time this week that Derek stood you up. You had finally reached your home to see Derek sitting on your porch with flowers and a small smile, that immediately dropped when he saw Isaac’s hand on your waist. “So what’s this?” Derek sneers referring to Isaac’s hand which was still at your waist.
“Well since you don’t know the first thing about being a boyfriend and keeping your promises, someone has to right.” You said roughly as if it was a slap you had been waiting to give Derek “(Y/N) watch yourself. You wouldn’t want your little lover boy over here hurt would you.” Derek said with his eyes glowing red. You marched up to Derek, not fearing his temper “Derek Hale. I dare you to injure that boy because if you do I’ll never forgive you.” You said likely threatening his authority “Don’t forget, your Alpha position doesn’t effect me. Never will. So don’t you dare disrespect your Luna by treating her like one of your pack members because I can ruin your life.” You said softly tiptoeing to kiss his cheek.
“Bye Isaac, thank you for walking me home AGAIN. Now if you’ll excuse your Alpha because me and him have to talk.” You said threateningly causing Isaac to jet down the block “GOOD LUCK ALPHA!” Isaac yelled picking up full speed until he was no longer seen on the block, Derek turned to face you.
“Am I really in trouble?” He said smirking “Derek, three times in one week. Hell yeah you’re in trouble, now get your fine ass in this house because you got some explaining to do.” You said rolling your eyes as you walked into the house with a sour Alpha following behind you.
You were doing your rounds at the hospital when you noticed a familiar name “Argent, C” you rushed into the room to see Chris Argent trying to unwrap his bandages “I’m sure you gave the nurse a hard time to put those on.” You said leaning against the door “Shit. (Y/N). Yeah, she wasn’t my favorite nurse, you know that.” He said winking at you, causing you to laugh.
Every time he was at the hospital he would always find a way to get caught or in trouble just to see you, he always flirted with you and you couldn’t complain because Chris was such an attractive man.
“Ah, Mr. Argent. Trying to gussy up to my girl are we?” Doctor Monroe said reading off Chris’ chart list, you rolled your eyes at the statement. Doctor Monroe had been trying to get into your pants from his first day at the hospital “Oh are you in a relationship? Funny, she never mentioned you when I took her out to dinner.” Chris said calmly and collective as he looked at Doctor Monroe’s expression.
“Well then, you shouldn’t be led on Mr. Argent. So yes me and (Y/N) are together.” Monroe said trying to mimic Chris’ calmness, you began to swat Chris’ hands away and started to rewrap his bandages “Are you sure we’re talking about the same girl because this lovely nurse has already agreed that her heart is mine?” Chris said grabbing your arm and pulling you closer to him “Isn’t that right (Y/N)? You’re all mine?” He said lowly causing you to stare at him mouth slightly open due to his movements and questions “Of course Chris.” You said in a blank state.
“Therefore Doctor Monroe, you have the wrong girl.” Chris said giving the Doctor the side eye as he watched him walk away, still holding you close to him “With all that said, how does dinner sound?” Chris said lowly in your ear “It sounds lovely, Chris I never knew you were the possessive type.” You whispered still in shock “Honey, there are so many thing you have yet to learn about me.” Chris said pulling you away winking at you slightly “Thanks for bandaging me up.” Chris said kissing your hand winking at you, as you blushed and walked out the room trying to breathe evenly.
You were laying on the bed trying to replay the conversation that you had overhead between Liam and Scott.
“What if I hurt her Scott? What if she doesn’t love me then what? What if it takes over because if anger what am I going to do?” Liam said punching the locker next to his causing you to jump in place. “But what if she likes you too Liam? Then what? Sit here like an idiot and get mad anytime a guy gives her attention?” Scott said leaning against the now beat locker “Scott, I can’t… I don’t want to hurt her..” Liam said with pure fear in his voice “You won’t. Come on, let’s go before someone sees you.” Scott said walking into the bathroom with little Liam following behind him.
You tried to grasp who and what they were talking about when you heard a knock on your window, causing you to turn your head in the direction to reveal Liam Dunbar standing there awkwardly, you quickly opened your window allowing him to enter “Liam, what the hell are you doing at my window? You know I have a door that you can knock on?” You said standing with your hands on your hips. “(Y/N) it’s 3 am. What sane person knocks on a door?” He asked sitting on your bed shutting the window behind him. “Okay, you got me. So what’s up?” You said sitting next to him causing him to shift uncomfortably while blushing. “It’s me.” You said staring at him grabbing his hand “You were talking about me weren’t you?” You asked looking into Liam’s guilty eyes “I knew you were listening.. shit..” he said looking down trying to pull his hands away, you cupped his face causing him to look at you.
“Kyle, Jake, Caleb. I paid them to flirt with me just to see if I was right about my accusations. You like me Dunbar?” You said looking at him “You paid them? What the hell (Y/N).” He said looking at you confused, but you had no answer for his other than bringing your lips down to his, the kiss quickly turned into a feverish heat of need. He softly broke the kiss “Why did you do that?” He asked softly in your ear “What kiss you?” You asked looking away feeling ashamed of your advances until you felt Liam’s hands pin yours to your bed as he slowly dragged his tongue softly down your neck “No, pay them to flirt with you. (Y/N), do you know how dangerous that is?” He asked gripping onto your hands tightly causing you to look at him, his eyes gold and dilated. You had seen his gold eyes before when he was angry or threatened “That was a bad move for such a pretty girl. Do you know what happens when someone tries to take what’s mine?” He said kissing your neck softly.
“What?” You asked breathlessly “I have to mark them.” He said lowly and he then bit down softly on your neck sucking on spot until he was happy with the size. He rose from your bed opening your window “At school, I better see that mark. Or else you won’t like what comes after it.” He said before disappearing from your room, you were confused at his statement until you looked in the mirror and saw the bright red mark on your neck “Liam. Fucking. Dunbar.” You said softly already planning his funeral with a smirk on your face.
You were leaning in your chair with your eyes traveling his face trying to see if he would give you any information by his movement or expression but Peter was a professional when it came to the Sheriff’s department, so you thought a different approach would work better.
You walked over to the front of the desk laying your hands on the sides of Peter’s chair causing him to shift “What is this bad cop, good cop? Honey we both know that it’s not going to work on me.” he said calmly his every word hitting your face “Oh, honey, this isn’t good or bad. This is my hidden attraction for you. I have a thing for criminals in chains.” you whispered softly in his ear causing him to shift uncomfortably “What?” he asked looking at you in pure shock as you smirked leaning against the desk now “Seeing as your weakened by something you didn’t expect I’ll allow someone else to interview you.” You said grabbing your files, walking out of the room to bump into someone hard and psychically hot.
“Shit.” Was all you said as the burning person grabbed your hand and forcefully led you to Sheriff Stilinski’s office. “Want to explain yourself?” Jordan asked you standing in front of you full of authority. You were trying your hard to focus on him but you couldn’t get passed how hot he was pissed off “Well baby, I needed Peter to talk for the departments well being, so I did what I had to do.” You said sitting on the desk not wanting to stand “To hell with the department, do you have feelings for that criminal?” Jordan spat out the words causing you to become putty in his hands “Parrish.” you purred stretching to grab his uniform shirt pulling him closer to you feeling his heat radiant off of him.
“The only man I’m interested has to be single handedly the hottest man on this earth, literally, he burns as hot as a third degree burn yet is alive and I love him and everything about him.” you said wrapping your legs around his waist pulling him closer “And he is the only man that I want, so Jordan Parrish, shut up and kiss me.” you said softly leaning into his lips waiting for them to connect “Not now. Later.” he said unraveling himself from you and throwing you over his shoulder walking out of Sheriff Stilinski’s office gently slapping your ass. “This is all mine.” he said softly looking in the direction of Peter knowing he would be listening.
“Only you would be the one to get caught in something so stupid Peter.” You said cautiously pulling out the bullet lodged into Peter’s chest. “God all you do is bring yourself hell and pain huh?” you ask stitching him up “Is that why you find me attractive?” he said smirking through the pain that was now coursing through his body “Not at all.” you said rolling your eyes looking over at Derek who sat on the couch watching you and his uncle interact “I don’t know why you bother pay him any mind. Hes an old man, you need someone young and ready to take you to heights you’ve never been before.” Derek said smirking laying into the couch causing his uncle to tense up “Is that truly necessary?” Peter grinded his teeth staring coldly at Derek watching him shrug.
“(Y/N), don’t you feel it necessary?” Derek asked grabbing your hand causing you to jump in surprise. “Whatever the hell is going on between you two leave me out of it thank you.” You said packing your medical gear “Peter please, try not to burst your stitches because I won’t be coming back tonight.” You said grabbing your coat ready to exit “Why? Got a hot date?” Derek said now full of curiosity.
“Well if you must know. I do actually.” You said smirking walking out of the loft without a single word. “We’re going to get your girl.” Derek said throwing a jacket at Peter as he shortly followed after you, trying to stay out of sight. When you had reached your home you quickly changed into your shorts and tank top throwing yourself on your couch, with your popcorn on the coffee table and just as you were about to start “Game Of Thrones” you heard a knock at the door “Coming!” you yelled not really wanting to open it.
Once you reached the doorway and opened the door you saw Peter standing there looking inside your home “Are you alone?” he asked confused causing you to laugh “Well, I was until you came. Wanted to see my hot date?” you asked walking into your house sitting back on your couch “I was expecting someone yes.” he said walking behind you closing the door as he made his way to your couch “Your date is the TV show isn’t it?” he asked looking at the screen “No actually. You are.” you said smirking “You think I don’t know how you feel about me? The only reason you even came is because you were angered by the idea of me being with someone else.” you said moving next to him.
“So what if I was?” he said pouting pulling you closer into his side by wrapping an arm around you “Nothing, I would say that it’s cute that you actually have feelings Peter.” you said kissing his cheek “So hot date night?” he asked grabbing the remote which caused you to nod as he began the show. “Best date night.” you said snuggling into his side smelling his cologne and feeling his heartbeat.
“Seriously? He was ALL OVER YOU!” Isaac yelled at you causing you to flinch, he had never raised his voice at you before “Isaac I pushed him away! BUT I’M ONLY HUMAN!” you yelled back feeling anger rise inside you because he knew you weren’t the strongest person in this world. “So his lips, just magically nearly touched yours? Huh?” he spat looking at you in disgust “I slapped him Isaac. Were you even paying attention?” you asked grabbing his jersey pulling him down to look at you.
“Isaac Lahey, you better calm the fuck down. Because you’re acting like a child right now. You know I would never hurt you, so stop it.” you said softly looking at him sink into the ground shaking harshly. “(Y/N), how can I relax.. He’s more open than me, handsome, funny, and isn’t afraid to show you off like you deserve..” he said softly, his voice cracking in between his sentence “How can I compete with a guy who’s beyond me.. I was lucky enough to get you to agree to be my girlfriend because we both know that you’re way out of my league.” he said softly now the tears slowly beginning to slide down his face.
You sat next to him softly cupping his face in the most gentle way possible hoping he would flinch to your touch, as you turned his head he looked into your eyes “Isaac, baby, listen to me. I don’t need a man who is trying to show me off as a prize, I don’t need a man who is openly funny, who flirts with other people, I don’t need anyone who isn’t you. You are my rock and I am your anchor. You can’t get jealous because you feel threatened, Isaac there is no one else that could threaten this relationship. I love you.” you said kissing his forehead, holding his hands squeezing them for support.
“I love that you’re more reserved, and only funny when it’s me and you, I love that you only show me off when you want to because you want to genuinely show others your happy not because you want anyone to envy you. I love you for you Isaac Lahey. Now stop second guessing yourself so I can show off my incredibly sensitive and loving boyfriend.” you say kissing his lips softly getting up from the floor pulling his arm up in the process as he smiled at you “I love you (Y/N).” he said wrapping an arm around you dipping you slowly kissing you intensely before exiting the room to face Beacon Hills once again, but as always you wouldn’t be facing it alone. Not when you have your rock and he had his anchor.
You’d been avoiding Theo like wildfire for about a week and you could tell that his patience with you had come to an abrupt halt as he had now cornered you in the girls locker room after cheer practice. “Care to explain where the hell you’ve been all week?” he said smirking but the yellow eyes glaring at you painted another picture “Of, me. I was just hanging out with Stiles and Scott, why? Did you need me?” you asked pushing past him as you continued to pack your belongings “So youve been avoiding me all week to whore around with two other guys?” Theo said lowly and as badly as you wanted to snap his head off for his comment you kept your cool because you didn’t plan a week’s worth of shit to screw everything up in a second. “I wouldn’t say ‘whoring’ around, more like being tutored to not fail math.” you said slamming your locker facing Theo smiling.
You walked out of the locker room and made your way to your car that was waiting for you in the parking lot “And where do you think you’re going?” he asked swinging your keys between his fingers. “Theo, I’m tired I just want to go home. If you’re offering to drive that’s great.” you said ignoring him and anything he had to say about your previous comment. You sat in your car as you waited for Theo to begin driving you home, the car ride was silent and uneventful but you kept fidgeting in your seat because you couldn’t wait to see his reaction for his surprise. “Okay, were here.” he said still gripping the steering wheel with anger “I have something to show you..” you said opening the car door making your way to your door “What is it? A portrait of you and your two new boyfriends?” he sneered causing you to laugh. “Nope, something way better.” you said opening the door to your home.
You swung the door wide to watch his reaction change, you were a bit afraid because Theo hadn’t celebrated his birthday for a long time since his sister had, passed. “Please don’t hate it or me.. I worked so hard for this Theo.. I know you are fond of parties but I felt like you deserved one.” you said drifting off “I don’t deserve anything (Y/N). I’m a monster and you know it.” he said softly looking over the banner and presents laying on the floor of the table that had food and a cake you had made from scratch.
“No Theo, you’re wrong. You do deserve this, if you’re a monster then what does that make us? No one in this life is innocent.” you said grabbing his hand “I haven’t celebrated my birthday in so long, I completely forgot I even had one..” he said softly looking at you “I made sure to be well prepared considering I’ve never done anything like this.. Hence why I needed Stiles and Scott ot help me..” you said looking at the ground “So you ignored me all week to plan out my birthday.. And I call you a whore….” he said now feeling hatred wash over him “Hey I know you get jealous fast and just to crazy ideas.. I know you didn’t mean it.. But I would never cheat on you. Just because you’re a smart ass doesn’t mean you don’t deserve happiness.” you said walking him towards his cake.
“I don’t deserve happiness.. But you are more than I’ve ever deserved in my entire life and yet I’m blessed to have you.. I should be banished to hell for touching and corrupting an Angel.” he said lifting your chin with his finger slowly planting a kiss on your lips “Oh darling, me and you both know we have a one way ticket, so cut your shit and make a wish.” you said smiling at him as he pulled you in front of him causing him to lean down “I already have all I can wish for in one person.” he said blowing out his candles kissing your neck before swiping his finger across the frosting and wiping it on your face “THEO!” you yelled as he ran away from you laughing. Yes this was true happiness, just the two of you together.
“Why are you even with him (Y/N)! He’s an asshole.” Liam said grabbing your arms trying to enlighten you with some common sense. “We use to make fun of him being a part of Douche Ford and now you’re dating him!” Liams eyes were now gold and his claws had escaped his knuckles “Liam, I like him, I think he’s an asshole sure but guess what, I didn’t like Haydn every mushy but you went BEHIND my back and dated her at least I’m telling you the truth.” You said backing away from Liam until you bumped into someone who grabbed you by your waist “There’s no need to ruin your friendship with (Y/N), Liam because she loves you as a brother and as much as it pains me to say this she really does care for your well being. I don’t dream of hurting her but if you don’t believe me you can have your whole pack hunt me down, if she hasn’t killed me herself.” Brett said looking at Liam watching him calm down.
“There’s no need to worry about her attention going else where because you guys will always be her family, but I’ll be her boyfriend. She’s an amazing person and I would hate to ruin the friendship you have with her and the friendship that started to grow between us again.” Brett said watching Liam smile lightly “Yeah L there’s no reason to get jealous, you will always be my best friend.” you said walking out of Brett’s arms to hug Liam.
“And you’ll always be mine (Y/N/N).” he said hugging you back “Plus we can still make fun of Douche Ford.” you whispered in Liam’s ear causing him to laugh “I can hear you.” Brett said sighing loudly “Good.” you said pulling apart from Liam walking back to Brett, who held your hand and began to walk you out of the corridor “Hey Talbot, if you break her heart or ruin her, we will kill you as a pack. Mark my words.” Liam said lowly eyes flashing so fast and then changing back to their regular form.
Brett nodded smiling as he held you closer to him kissing your forehead “I think I have more to worry about than you. You’re the real heartbreaker here babe.” he said slapping your ass quickly while kissing your cheek “Mhm. Got that right Talbot.” you said winking at him.

you should really write an imagine where a reader is friends with steve and the kids and in that scene where steve gets out of the bus to confront the demo-dogs one of them attacks him but the reader gets the nail bat and kick the hell out of it and the kids are like omg wtf the demo-dogs go away and steve just kisses the reader, sorry this is so long, you’re writing is incredibly good!)
Summary: You weren’t expecting to spend your evening with a bunch of middle schoolers, and Steve Harrington in the middle of a junkyard, fighting yet another demogorgon. Or demogorgons.
Word Count: 2000+
Warnings: few curse words here and there and some smooching ofc
Note: I changed the scene up a little and made her attacking the demo-dog on the bus! It’s still basically the same!! I hope you like it :))
HELLA Spoilers for Season 2!!
You were planning on spending today in doors, either drawing or studying, not in the back of Steve Harrington’s car with a middle schooler in the front giving you mad attitude while telling you this story of how this demon-slug he found Halloween night turned into a demogorgon and ate his cat. Then escaped the cellar he locked it in by digging through the ground.
“Are you kidding me?” you asked, staring at Dustin with complete bewilderment, “It ate Mews!?” you frowned now, Dustin nodded, and you pouted slightly, “That’s fucked up, your mom came over crying about if we’ve seen Mews the other day!” you pointed, Dustin sighed.
“I know, I know- but I can’t exactly tell her that some demogorgon ate her cat now can I?”
You scowled at him, shaking your head and then looked to Steve, “So what’s the plan?”
Steve shrugged, “We’re going to lure it somewhere secluded and kick it’s ass- you know like last time,” he answered nonchalantly, “You’re here because for some reason you’re really good at gameplans…”
“Yeah, so like last time eh? Set up a trap? I’m not going to cut myself again like I did with Nance and Jonat-”
“No-no, Dart is attracted by raw meat,” Dustin cut you off, you turned to him.
“Who the hell is Dart?”
Dustin rolled his eyes like you were too slow of a thinker for him, “Dart is his name, (y/n)! But that doesn’t matter- what matters is that he grew, and now it’s roaming free and we have to kill him before he kills, so if the next thing you say isn’t how we are going to do it, then don’t talk at all!” Steve turned to Dustin like he was about to scold him or something.
You glared at the kid.
“First up, don’t talk to me like that you little dweeb, and second- it’s clear we have to get a bunch of meat and make a trail- it’s smart, but not that smart because it’ll follow,” you said, leaning back and digging through your bag, “Then we get gas like last time and-” you flicked the lighter in your hand up, Steve glancing at you through the rearview mirror, “and light it’s ass on fire,”
“And where will we get that much meat?”
“Oh you know we’ll just find it lying around- hey maybe we’ll skin and gut a cow, Dustin! It’ll be a fun experie-”
Dustin was about to clap back at you before Steve told you both to shut the hell up.
“Obviously we have to buy meat, and you-” He pointed Dustin,”Stop talking to her like she’s some kind of idiot, she fought one before, so she knows what the hell she’s doing,”
You crossed your arms all smug.
Dustin just simply turned away, saying something under his breath about ‘she didn’t really fight it’. Steve turned back at you, winking, you offered a smile before looking down at your feet. In a way Dustin was right, you didn’t really fight it, but you did help Nancy and Jonathan plan how to trap it.
You let out a sigh. Just an hour earlier, Steve had showed up at your house, telling you to put on your shoes and jacket because he needed your help. You, of course not wanting to pass up another opportunity to hang out with Steve, agreed. That was before you saw Dustin, looking impatient in the front seat of his car and were told you were going to fight another demogorgon.
You huffed slightly, and rubbed your forehead. You really, really didn’t want to do this, you thought you’d never have to ever see one of those things again.

Request: I was wondering if you could do a Jasper imagine, from twilight, where he and the reader are fighting because she’s human and he doesn’t want her to get hurt, but she does the thing regardless and someone accidentally hurts her and Jasper’s alter ego comes out and almost attacks the person so reader has to calm him down and it’s just really cute and fluffy… Sorry this is long.
Warnings: swearing, fluff
“You know, for someone who’s seen me naked, I’m a little uncomfortable at how much you try to act like you’re my father.” You snapped, walking through your house, gathering the stuff you’d need for your day trip.
“Y/N, you know I’d never try to control you. I’m just … worried about having you over there. Where I can’t reach you.” Jasper followed behind you.
You sighed. Jessica had invited you to La Push for the day, and Jasper had basically asserted that you were not going to go. He was bothered by the fact that he couldn’t go with you and protect you. And probably slightly bothered by the fact that you’d be hanging out with boys from school. Mostly, though, he worried about the Quileute pack making an appearance.
“Bella’s going too, you and Edward can suffer together.” You said, throwing sun screen and a towel into your tote bag. You felt yourself calming down, and turned around. “Can you please not do that?”
Jasper’s lips twitched. “It’s a habit.”
“Well quit it. I’m angry at you. Take it like a man.” You said, a hint of humor in your voice as you turned around, making your way to the bathroom and shutting the door behind you so that you could change into a bathing suit. He was still standing there when you came out.
“They’re animals.” Jasper said. “And even worse, they’re teenage boys.”
You heard the dryness in his voice but you could see the worry in his expression. He truly didn’t want you to go.
“Mostly, though, they’re just teenage boys. And I can handle those.” You said, grabbing his hands. “Jess and Angela and Bella are gonna be there too, okay? And Mike and Eric.”
Jasper rolled his eyes. “Mike and Eric couldn’t protect you from a pack of guinea pigs.” You snorted, but softened when he wrapped his arms around you from behind. “They’ll be able to smell me on you. If you got hurt, I don’t know what I would do.”
You turned to face him, wrapping your arms around his neck and pressing your lips to his. “I’ll be careful.” You said, putting one hand on his cheek, fingers brushing over his sharp jawline. “I’ll text you. I’ll stay with people I know. But I’m going.”
He sighed, his hands rubbing absently over your hips. “I suppose I can’t stop you.” He smirked. “I mean, I could.”
“But you won’t.” You said smugly, turning to pack the rest of your things.
“Because my girlfriend carries a surprising amount of wrath in her fragile, mortal body?” He asked, hands still on your hips.
“Yes.” You say, shouldering you bag. “And because you love her and would never dream of restricting her freedom for your own selfish reasons.”
“I’m so glad we’re on the same page.” He said sarcastically, leaning in to kiss your lips, and then your jaw, and down your throat, before he stiffened and Jessica’s car honked from the street.
“Guess that’s my ride.” You said.
He nodded, no longer trying to conceal the worry in his eyes. “I’ll text you.” You said, and he nodded again, stiffly. “And I love you.” You said softly, with a smile.
He was unable to stop the smile that answered yours, “Yeah, yeah. Sure you do.” He said softly, which was his way of saying it back.
You kissed him again when he walked you to the door before you jumped into the backseat of Jessica’s convertible, where Bella was already seated with Angela in the front. Jessica cranked up the music on the radio before the four of you sped off to meet up with Mike and Eric and head to La Push.
You spent the first couple of hours tossing around in the waves. You wrestled Mike to the ground for slapping you with a piece of sea weed until he finally gave up fighting you and apologized. You crawled onto the beach exhausted with the girls and sat in the sand, under the cool grey sky. Though you could tell Jasper was desperately trying not to check in too much, you made sure he knew you were okay every hour or two.
The boys suggested, once it became too cold to swim, that they all take a hike up to the cliffs. Everyone was fairly rested up after swimming and agreed, so you all shrugged your clothes back on and set off up the narrow mountain trail that led to the cliffs above La Push beach.
“And people jump off of these for fun?” Jessica asked skeptically, trying to stare over the cliffs but not daring to come within five feet of the edge.
“That make you nervous?” Mike made like he was going to push her and earned a shriek and a smart punch in the arm in return.
“Any of you ever jumped before?” All of them turned to see a group of three boys emerging onto the cliff, clad in normal clothes but clearly very muscular, and all with dark hair cropped short and dark eyes. You’d never seen the wolves in person but you knew that these had to be some of them, ripped with muscle though the oldest one couldn’t have been more than twenty.
“No way, man.” Eric said. “I’m Eric. This is Mike, that’s Jessica, Y/N, Bella, and Angela.”
“Paul.” Each of the boys introduced themselves. You noticed them glancing at you, and you realized Jasper must have been right. They could smell him on you. They all shared a glance and you tried your best not to notice, staring at your phone.
They’re here.You texted Jasper.
His reply was almost immediate: I will come get you.
Do not cross that treaty line. You sent back. Under any circumstances.
You ground your teeth, looking up briefly.
“Y/N, we’re headed back down to start a campfire. You coming?” Angela asked, frowning briefly your troubled expression and glancing at your phone.
“I’ll be down in a minute.” You said, and they left you alone. You looked back down at your phone.
Who’s being selfish now? Jasper asked.
For keeping you from starting a war? You challenged.
For risking your life because you’re too stubborn to admit you might be in danger. He shot back.
You shook your head, eyes completely focused on your phone when suddenly the ground fell out from under you and you screamed.
The edge of the cliff. You’d wandered too close to the edge of the cliff. You were falling, eyes closed, and then, with a painful jerk of your arm, you weren’t anymore. Someone had caught you. The one named Sam had grabbed your wrist.
“Grab the ledge.” He said, voice straining with the effort of holding your dead weight. You did and slowly, he hauled you back onto the rocky outcropping. You collapsed on your back on the hard ground, breathing heavily, your arm draped over your eyes.
“Nice … catch.” You said between breaths, still reeling, adrenaline coursing like acid through your veins.
“No problem.” Sam said, sitting beside you. His chest still heaved but he was catching his breath a lot easier than you were. “For future reference though, maybe don’t text on the edge of a cliff.”
You let out a laugh, loud with relief as it dawned on you that you very well could have been killed just now and somehow remained relatively unscathed. “I’ll try to keep that in mind.” You said, bringing your phone up to look at it before you realized it was not in your hand.
“Oh no.” You said, rolling onto your stomach and leaning up to look over the cliff before slapping your hand over your face. “Shit, shit, shit!”
You jumped to your feet and found yourself dizzy. Sam steadied you.
“Take it easy, what’s wrong?” He asked.
“My phone!” You pointed to the cliff. “I was talking to-” You cut yourself off, realizing who you were talking to now, and just shook your head. “Um … I need to get ahold of someone. Do you have a cell phone?”
He shook his head, “Sorry. I’m sure one of your friends does, though. We can walk down and …” His voice trailed off as you thought. Jasper was panicking. You just knew it. If you told him the wolves were here and then didn’t text him back … the longer you waited increased the likelihood that he was on his way here. It left you with one option.
You turned to face Sam. “I need you to drive me to the treaty line.”
Sam didn’t seem all that surprised that you knew what that was, but crossed his arms and looked you over. “Why?”
“You know who my boyfriend is, I know you can smell it on me.” You said. He tilted his head up and watched you. “I was texting him about you being here. If he knows I was with you and then I don’t text back, he’ll try to come get me.”
Sam’s eyebrows shot up. “And start a war?”
“If he thinks I’m in danger.” You said. “You’re the leader, right? Sam Uley?” He watched you, but didn’t say anything. “This doesn’t have to end in a fight. Not if you can get me there in time.”
Sam seemed to look over you, trying to decide if you were telling the truth, before he shook his head. “Get on.”
He took off his shirt and doubled over and before you knew it a black wolf the size of a grizzly bear was standing in front of you. Get on, he’d said.
“You’ve gotta be kidding me.” You mumbled, before struggling onto his back. He let out a small growl which you guessed was wolf for ‘hold on’ and then took off at a run.
You’d been running with Jasper before, and were quite surprised to find that the wolf was just as fast, if not faster. Trees flew by you in a blur of darkness now that the sun had set and before you knew it, you’d reached the treaty line. You rolled off his back and doubled over, hands on knees, stomach churning. Though he was just as fast, Sam was not nearly as graceful. He looked at you warily before something in the woods caught his attention and he crouched into a more defensive position.
“Jasper?” You called out, knowing that’s the only one it could be, but Sam’s head was darting around, his lips curling back over huge canine teeth. There was more than one. “Emmett? Alice? Ed?” You guessed. “I’m fine, no one’s trying to hurt me.”
You glanced at the ground for something, perhaps, that marked where the actual treaty line was, but there was nothing, so you just glanced back at Sam and moved about ten feet forward, hoping that would put you in Cullen territory.
Emmet and Edward appeared just ten feet away, eyes trained on the wolf. Jasper was already in front of you.
“You smell like one of them, are you hurt?” He asked, voice stricken with tension.
“No, I lost my phone and-” You tried but he interrupted you.
“What’s this?” Jasper held up your bruised wrist and ignited a similar pain in your shoulder from where Sam had hauled you back over the cliff. You sucked air through your teeth and jerked your hand away from him instinctively.
What happened next happened very quickly. Edward, reading Jasper’s thoughts, said something along the lines of ‘grab him’ and before you knew it Emmet and Jasper were struggling behind you, Jasper trying to get to Sam, Emmett pouring all of his strength into keeping Jasper behind the treaty line. Sam was crouched and snarling, not attacking first but ready should Jasper get to him. Edward realized that Emmett may not be enough to hold him and grabbed Jasper’s other shoulder as Jasper kicked and snarled, as if all he wanted was to cross the treaty line. Before you really knew what you were doing, you were standing in front of Jasper.
“Y/N he’s not in control right now, you need to move.” Edward said seriously. He was not as strong as Emmett and his grip on Jasper’s arm kept slipping. You didn’t listen.
“Jasper look at me. Not him, me.” You said evenly. He didn’t listen until your hand touched his face. When he looked at you, you could tell it was not entirely Jasper staring back at you. Not your Jasper, anyway. “He didn’t hurt me, okay? You have to believe me, he didn’t. I lost my phone. He brought me here because I knew you’d be looking for me.” You said, your nails scratching in the hairs at the base of his neck.
He was still struggling but it seemed as if he was struggling away from you now, afraid he’d hurt you when he was not in control.
“Look at me.” You said again, forcing him to focus only on you.
“It’s working.” Edward said, looking at you. “Keep going.”
You looked back to Jasper and smiled. “Baby I’m fine. No one hurt me.” You said, your hands on either side of his face. “Listen, I’ll explain everything. But I need you to calm down.”
Jasper glanced back at Sam, and you did too.
“Thank you, Sam. For everything. You can go.” You said. Sam watched you for a second before he seemed to decide to trust you, and turned, loping off into the woods.
“He didn’t hurt you?” Jasper asked, his voice still laced with fury, but it was clear he was back in control.
“You can let him go.” You said to Emmett and Jasper, taking a breath.
“He saved her life.” Edward said, having apparently read Sam’s thoughts, “Apparently you were the one who almost killed her.” His voice was thick with amusement.
Jasper’s eyes widened and he straightened up. “What?” He asked.
You laughed in spite of yourself. “I may have been arguing with you and walked off a cliff.”
Jasper just watched you. “What.”
You broke into a fit of giggles and put your uninjured arm around him. “Let’s just go home. I have to go buy a new cellphone tomorrow.”
“My girlfriend’s an idiot.” Jasper put his arm around you, clearly pissed but amused as well.
“You love her.” You said smugly. His arm tightened around your waist.

Pic of this beauty isn’t mine.
I watched from a far how he held on to her hand, his fingers grasping and squeezing hers gently while his eyes never left her pretty face. He watched her speak with such an intensity in his green eyes, as if he literally saw nothing other than her. His girlfriend. Not me. I took a deep breath, swallowed the thick lump building in my throat and turned away from the sight. Exactly three weeks ago, Harry and I had shared a kiss. Our first kiss, which had been exactly how I’d secretly always wished for it to be. Of course it had been. Every time you get to kiss the person you love is special and like fireworks painting colors into the sky.
He’d been talking and listening to me all night, similar to how he now was with her and had at some point reached out to hold my hand, just like he was holding hers in this moment. When the time felt right, he’d leant in and had captured my lips with his. Needless to say, Harry was a phenomenal kisser. He knew when to press further, when to use how much tongue and was very attentive to how my body responded to his. Whenever I thought about it now, my cheeks tingled with the memory of his hands cupping them gently as he cradled my face to keep me close. He’d been so soft, so perfect. Harry had touched me with a tenderness, I thought it’d break my heart. I remembered wrapping my arms around his neck and feeling like they belonged there, like I was meant to hold him close. Only that I wasn’t. The girl he was with now only proved how insignificant I was.
I couldn’t help peaking and looking over at him again. Harry’s lips. I knew exactly how they felt when pressed against my own, knew their taste and shape. Their warmth. Harry’s touch was impossible to forget. I watched him kiss his girlfriend with a mesmerized stare, before moving away and into the kitchen, leaving the small gathering of our friends with a murmured excuse that I needed to get a refill of my drink, when in reality I couldn’t bear seeing the man I loved sharing affectionate kisses with someone else. But not even the kitchen was a safe area for me. t had been this exact kitchen, the one in Harry’s house, where he’d pulled me aside and told me about herfor the first time.
“It’s difficult” I think he said. “It’s my fault that this situation has become so messy.”
Was it silly that I could actually still remember every word he spoke to me? That I’d engraved every pause, every take in of breath he made, deeply into my head?
“Listen, Y/N… You’re important to me. I care about you. Need you, it’s just… There is someone. Someone who could be a chance for a relationship and I really want to give this a go. Give her a go, I mean. You can understand that, right?”
At first it’d felt like none of it was real. Because how could he be serious? Harry. My best friend, Harry. Only three days after our magical first kiss, three days full of us talking and flirting and texting constantly, he was telling me that he wanted someone else. Her name was Ira. And though he was seemingly behaving the same way with her he had been with me, we weren’t the same. In fact, she was everything I wasn’t. So when he told me he wanted her and not me, that he was picking her over of me, how come I’d been surprised?
I would never be his first choice, not when there were thousands of others he could choose from. And it was time for my brain to learn to not interpret every kind gesture, time to learn to stop overthinking every word. It was time for my head to accept, that there was no way Harry Styles could possibly want me.
So… I had been understanding. Kind even. I’d lied and told him that yes, I agreed that our kiss had been a mistake. We shouldn’t have done any of that and instead thought of our friendship first, rather than our impulses. I’d kept a smile on my face throughout the entire talk and even finished the short chat by wishing him good luck with her. Another lie.
My fingers shook and so I set the empty glass of my drink down quickly, worried for a moment that I might otherwise spill the last few drops. I didn’t think much when I reached for the bottle of vodka on the counter. There was no getting through this night if I didn’t have something proper to drink. If only I remembered the recipe….
My shoulders tensed. It couldn’t be him. Please… anyone, literally anyone, but him.
However when I turned around, Harry was there. He stood tall and beautiful, his short hair soft and wavy. Harry’s compelling eyes held my gaze with such a tender rawness in them, my knees weakened. All my body burned for was to wrap my arms around his shoulders and have him embrace me, have him tell me that everything would be okay again. I felt like I needed it, but knew that this was a wish I would be denied. Harry must have felt it, too. It was in the air around us. It had changed and… buzzed. As if being in each other’s presence made the world halt still for a moment.
“I’m sorry,” Harry chuckled lowly when I didn’t say anything. How could he smile like everything was alright?
And what was it he was apologizing for? Abandoning our friendship? Ruining any hope I’d had to find a partner in him? Shattering my heart? Hardly.
“For scaring you,” Harry elaborated, a sudden hint of guilt in his eyes, almost as if he’d read my thoughts.
“It’s fine, Harry,” I muttered, bearing a false smile, “All good.”
It was hard to look at him. Especially his eyes. They burned a whole into my chest whenever my own orbs found them. They reminded me of the Harry he once was, the one I could always come to and rely on.
“What are you doing?” Harry asked, his head nodding towards the bottle of vodka. His forehead furrowed in a worried expression and I quickly set the container back down.
“I wanted to make myself a drink, but the recipe slipped my mind. I’m not as much of an alcoholic as it must look like.”
“Good to know,” Harry chuckled, then, visibly thinking about it first, took a step forward. “I remember what you like in your favorite drink. Could make you one.”
From how close he was standing, it was easy to notice every detail of his skin. Every curve of his lips, every hair of his barely-there beard. My stomach turned.
“That’d be nice.”
Harry smiled and nodded. “Okay.”
We avoided any touching. I was leant against the counter, he stood with a safe distance between us and only came closer when he needed a different ingredient that happened to be near me. It was awkward and… weird. It didn’t feel like ‘us’. The friends we’d been once seemed to be two completely different people. I knew him and felt he was familiar, but there was a emotional distance between us I knew neither of us could overcome. And still, I was with him and even if we behaved like strangers, being with Harry was nice.
“I think that’s it,” Harry said, breaking the silence. His eyes were set on the pink-orange liquid in my glass, then they drifted to my face. A proud smile pulled at the corners of his mouth.
“You 'think’?” I challenged shyly.
I took the glass from him (cautious not to touch his fingers) and took a sip. It tasted great.
“M'not big of a show off,” Harry grinned, “S'it good?”
I nodded and stirred the colored liquid once more. “Thanks, Harry.”
“You’re welcome, Y/N.” His voice was soft and his gaze shy.
The air around us shifted once more. My eyes teared up. What had happened to us? Harry and I… we used to be the kind of friends who didn’t stopped talking to each other for hours. At first, we’d be loud. We’d laugh and giggle so much eventually both of our tummies hurt. That was when we’d change the subject and speak more quietly, until several hours later our conversations drifted to topics only we were allowed to hear. Then we’d be whispering and sitting closer together, always an eager sparkle in the other’s eyes as we both listened with interest about what was being said.
I quickly turned away and pretended to yawn. My eyes blinked rapidly and I willed them not to cry in front of him. Not because of embarrassment, but because I couldn’t do that to him. I’d given him my okay. I had no right to be mad at him for having found someone else. Harry remained standing close and with his hands in the front pockets of his black jeans.
“I think I should go,” I muttered.
I held my head low and took a deep breath before looking at him briefly. Harry’s eyes held concern and his fingers twitched, as if he longed to reach out for me.
“Y/N, love,” he began lowly, “Do you think we could talk for a bit? S'been a while since I got to see you. Hear your voice. I missed you.”
This time when my eyes met his green orbs, I didn’t look away, even though I could feel the tears forming and coming closer to spilling over. Harry’s whole expression changed. His cheeks paled and his forehead furrowed deeper.
“I miss you, too, Harry,” I admitted, my weak voice barely above a whisper.
“No,” he mumbled, shaking his head slowly, sorrow deeply set in his eyes. His feet stepped closer and his warm hands touched my flushed cheeks before I even had the chance to back away from him. The unexpected closeness caught me off guard and had more tears coming, this time because of how much I hated how uncommon this sort of care from him had become.
Harry embraced me. His head buried itself into my neck and both arms wrapped themselves around my waist so he could lift me up from my feet. “Please no, Y/N, Sweetheart. Don’t cry.”
I couldn’t help it. My heart, the final bit that had been whole still, broke in his caring hands and I was overcome and pulled under a wave of grief. That was what I was doing. I was grieving our friendship and the lost hope I’d had for a relationship with him. And he allowed it. He let me cry against his collarbones without any complaint and instead began to hum quietly, knowing how much his voice always soothed me. Pain shot through my chest. He probably did the same when she was upset.
“I can’t-” I cried, but got cut off by my lungs that burned with need for air.
Harry hushed me, his hold tightening, “Don’t, Y/N. It’s going to be alright.”
I shook my head and loosened the hold I’d taken around his neck. My hands momentarily brushed his soft hair, then I pulled away. Harry hesitated but allowed me to step out of his hold.
“I can’t take it anymore, Harry,” I confessed, my voice breaking halfway through the sentence. I reached up to brush my cheeks with the end of my sleeve and hiccuped. My head felt numb and I knew if I didn’t get out of this kitchen soon, he’d witness a break down I wasn’t comfortable with him seeing.
Harry’s hand reached for my arm. I didn’t fight it when he pulled me closer to him, but avoided his eyes when he leaned down to find my gaze.
“Y/N,” he spoke, his voice rough with emotion, “I promise you, it’ll be alright. M'not leaving, okay? M'not. We’ll figure this out.”
I wanted to scream but all I could was shake my head rapidly. “Figure this out how? What have we become, Harry?”
Another sob wrecked through my chest.
“I don’t know,” he confessed, “But we’re going to find each other again, okay? I promise. Let me say goodbye to the others and then we’ll go for a walk or something. We’ll talk. About everything and nothing at all… Just like we always used to, yeah?”
Used to. So long ago, it seemed.
“Okay,” I whispered, my burning eyes set on my feet. My skin shivered under his warmth and my lips hurt from how much I was bitting them.
I flinched when his mouth pressed a kiss to my head. The skin was left with a burning sensation. “Wait for me here, love.”
Harry’s quick feet carried him out of the kitchen and left me standing by the counter with my heart at the pit of my stomach. I stood up straight and brushed the few remaining tears from my cheeks. My skin tingled and I felt the hint of a smile on my lips, even though my body ached. Looking back now, I wish I would have stayed put by the counter and had waited for him just like he’d asked me to. I wish I hadn’t been impatient and eager to reunite with Harry, because that eagerness drove me to exit the kitchen shortly after him and turn the corner, allowing me clear view into the living room. There he stood. His arms around her thin form, his hands in her long hair and his lips kissing hers. All air was knocked right out of me. I could see how his hands gently moved against her neck, bringing her in closer and their bodies flush together. When their lips parted for a moment, I could see how he let his tongue run along his lower lip, as if he wanted to make sure he got all of her taste. And I could see him smile warmly at her, right before he leaned back in to connect their mouths once more. This sight… it burned. I didn’t wait for him. Because I had been wrong before. My heart wasn’t truly broken until that moment, witnessing the man I loved with my everything, kissing a woman who wasn’t me. And if he wasn’t going to leave me, if he was just going to keep me close and allow my heart to shatter over and over again, then I supposed I would have to be the one to go first. So that’s what I did. I walked back to the entryway, slid on my jacket, picked up my bag, and left the house. Left, to never come back to Harry Styles.

The red wine leaves a particular stain on Harry’s lips that he hadn’t noticed until Kendall pointed it out to him.
“It looks like you’re wearing lipstick” she laughs, “I didn’t know you were going to dress up this much for the party.”
They are currently sat at his mum’s kitchen island, drinking red wine while munching on some chips left out for the guests. The house is filled with familiar faces, friends and family all throughout London coming together for Anne’s birthday celebration.
They hosted one every year for as long as Harry could remember, a time of year where nearly every one of his family members, including his step family, would unite. It was their favorite time of year, believe it or not. Despite all the excitement for the holidays, Anne’s birthday celebration was certainly something special.
It was Kendall’s first time attending, considering the fact that Harry had only really talked to her whenever he was assigned to be with her for publicity. It wasn’t always ideal, however, he built a stable friendship with her, so he didn’t mind the extra company with him from time to time.
She was invited last minute, of course, since his management called last night to ask if there was any way for them to be seen together. With Harry’s new movie coming out and his solo album just released a couple weeks ago, it was almost a given for him to be rumored with a girlfriend. That’s how it’s worked all throughout his career.
He normally wouldn’t have minded, however, this was the worst possible date for him to be with Kendall.
Because it’s Anne’s birthday party, this means that it’ll be the first time in one year that he’ll be seeing Y/n. They have been best friends since they were five years old, basically growing up in the same house as they went through school together. But as time went on, and as they both went to their separate ways, it was hard to keep in touch with each other all the time.
She remained in the small towns of London while Harry was traveling world wide, where his name became known everywhere as Y/n’s was only known through people she attended school with. Of course, they still talked, considering they both admitted to having more than friendship feelings, but their lives were busy in their own ways, preventing them from being more than what they wanted to be.
For the past couple months, Harry planned that this would be the day he’d finally move forward with Y/n. Or, at least attempt to. With the loss of her over the past year, it made Harry realize just how much he couldn’t imagine a life without her. It had been so long—too long, and he couldn’t stand how long he’s lived without keeping in touch with her.
But now, everything he planned for the two of them is becoming impossible. He can’t begin to imagine how Y/n would feel knowing he brought Kendall to his mum’s birthday party after they both confessed their love for each other. In all honesty, he wouldn’t blame her for giving up on him. He keeps doing this to her, even if it’s unintentional.
He watches around the kitchen at the guests he hasn’t seen in quite a while. His leg bounces with impatience when each new person walking in to attend the party isn’t Y/n. It’s been nearly an hour and has never been so late to anything before.
And as horrible as it sounds, he almost wishes she doesn’t come, just so that she can avoid the heartbreak that will come when she reunites with Kendall again.
“I’m sorry I’m late!”
Harry’s head whips around when he hears the voice he’s been deprived of for the past year. The first thing he notices are her lips, and the way they move around her words so softly. They’re slightly glazed with a lipgloss, painting her lips with a rosy shade of pink. They look so much fuller to him now, but he knows not a trace of them are artificial.
His eyes only drift from the shape of her lips when her fingers reach to tuck loose pieces of hair behind her ear. It’s then he notices just how much shorter her hair has gotten. What was once so long and lank is now falling just above the shoulder, set in luscious curls he can only imagine twisting around his fingers.
His jaw goes slack when he sees the pale pink dress she’s wearing. It’s made from silk, the metallic fabric glowing with each step she takes. He gulps when he notices just how much the dress accentuates the curvature of her body and how much of her legs are put on display for him to see, and he can’t help but to wipe the sweat off his palms when he watches her greet his mother with a proper kiss on the cheek.
He notices that his eyes haven’t shut since he’s seen her, but he’s so completely intrigued by how much has changed in her. Something about her seems so much more real—so much more vibrant—and he can’t seem to stop himself from praising how time has done her so goddamn well.
“You never told me she was going to be here.“
His body jerks at Kendall’s sudden appearance, her body slowly occupying the seat next to his at the kitchen island. If it wasn’t for her, he swears he would have caught himself drooling.
“Didn’t think I had to,” he says with a shrug, “she’s been my best friend since we were five. She’s basically apart of this family, she wouldn’t have missed this for the world.”
Y/n hasn’t missed a single one of Anne’s birthday celebrations since she’s known Harry. Their bond is irreplaceable—so irreplaceable, in fact, that Anne has been convinced Y/n is a miracle for their family. She was there for them through all the troubled times; helping them through their hardships and family instabilities.
When Anne and her husband first got divorced, Harry and Y/n were seven. Harry didn’t understand much of what was happening, all he knew was that his mum and dad weren’t going to love each other anymore. He was hurting, even when Gemma was there to try and keep him together. He started to believe everything between his parents was a lie.
She understood the whole separation process. Her mum left her at a young age, leaving her alone with her father. They were close, of course, but she always missed having a mother figure in her life. It made her upset to know she could only listen to one voice in the house, but as she grew older, she accepted it more.
By the time she met Harry, he kept bringing her over to his house as the years went on. Anne was the closest she had to mother, and their bond became unbreakable by the time Y/n was a teenager. Nearly seven years of Y/n being like another member of the family, Y/n started buying Anne Mother’s Day cards.
So when Y/n watched her second family fall apart, along with Anne’s heart, and she was determined to patch them back together again. Even at her young age, she’d pick flowers from her garden and give them to Anne everyday after school. Y/n said they represented her, and how she felt being a woman with such love and beauty could die all too quickly. Harry never understood what it meant, but Y/n did, which is why she never stopped until she heard Anne laughing again.
She also started to draw pictures and write her letters, reminding her of how loved she was by everyone. As much as Anne was heartbroken during the time, she took the letters everywhere she went and kept every flower alive for as long as she possibly could. Anne would always tell Harry “That girl came into our lives for a reason, my love. She’s a special one, our little miracle, never let her go. You hear me?”
Harry didn’t understand what it truly meant to let someone go, but he did his best to do anything but that. And now, as Harry sits on his mother’s kitchen island and seeing Y/n for the first time in a year, he feels he’s done just that.
“Guess not.” Kendall mutters, taking her last sip of the red wine left in her glass. “She’s just so strange, I guess. I can barely hold a conversation with her without her making an excuse to leave.”
Kendall and Y/n never really got along, it was extremely noticeable to everyone who held a conversation with the both of them. They just don’t see things in the same light. Y/n is very outgoing and lively; an extreme extrovert that seeks adventure—and Kendall can’t stand it. She thinks Y/n does it for attention, especially because she’s remained a small town girl while being surrounded by well-known celebrities. And even though it may seem like Y/n likes the attention, that’s not her purpose. She gives all her attention to others, never to herself, and it has always been something Harry loved the most.
And when it comes to Y/n, Kendall was that one thing that was constantly in her way of Harry. No matter how many times Harry and Y/n discussed how there was something between them, Kendall always found her way back to haunt her. She was her worst goddamn nightmare. She was perfect for Harry in the public eye, and nothing made Y/n feel worse than knowing she’ll never be her type of perfect, especially when it came to Harry.
But Kendall doesn’t know that. All she knows is that Y/n is extremely stand-offish with her, and she’ll never understand why.
“She’s not used to our lives. It’s extremely difficult for her to understand how we live, you know? She’s normal.”
Kendall scoffs, eyes rolling around the room because she hates that word. She feels so divided, like she’s in a categorization in society and everything about it makes her teeth clench.
“We’re normal, too, you know. I don’t understand why she feels so intimated and feels like she has something to prove.”
Harry’s jaw clenches slightly at the negative connotes Kendall has about Y/n’s life. Something about it makes his stomach twist the wrong way, and he can’t help the underlying growl in between his words.
“We’re not normal. Deep down, you and I both know that. You also don’t know Y/n, so stop making irrational assumptions about her.”
Kendall narrows her eyes at Harry, a gaze full of confusion and disbelief at the undeniable grumble in his tone. Any rational conversation they have about Y/n always end the same—with Harry quick to end the discussion and jump to her defense. It’s times like these Kendall never understood the true extent of Harry and Y/n’s relationship. They always claimed it was platonic but there has always been a sense of something stronger in them, like unaddressed or unchased feelings, or a past they shared that was kept between the two.
Either way, it annoyed the shit out of Kendall because they both were hiding something that she’ll never be able to get answered.
“Fine, whatever.” She sighs dramatically, scooting her chair back until she has room to stand properly. “Want some more wine? Getting some.”
Harry slides his empty wine glass so that it’s in front of her, muttering a small “yeah, thanks” before she’s on her way to the counter across the room, retrieving extra wine and mingling with some of Harry’s family.
Harry sighs while his head rests at the palm of his hand, eyes gazing directly to where Y/n is standing. His lips tug up lightly when he hears her laugh from the living room, his tongue running over his bottom lip ever so slightly as he watches her mouth lift and her eyes squint shut as she catches up with one of his uncles about his grand annual weekend fishing trip.
And as his eyes stay so transfixed on the woman in the other room, he can’t help but imagine seeing that type of perfection every day for the rest of his life.
“And everyone thinks Sweet Creature is about me..”
Harry’s head snaps to Gemma’s figure leaning over the edge of the island, her elbows hitched on the counter as a small smirk plays on her lips. She found it abnormally amusing how he didn’t even acknowledge her presence until she spoke, too invested in hawking over Y/n’s every move.
Harry grumbles, but the smile from Y/n’s laughter is permanent on his lips when he does so. Gemma even notices his cheeks brighten with pink, another hint of confirmation to the words she spoke.
“Shut up, Gem.“
She puts her arms up defensively, “Hey, don’t take it out on me. I’m just making an observation.”
Harry rolls his eyes as Gemma wraps her arm around his neck, hunching over so that her lips are close to his ear and eyes are directed toward Y/n again.
“She has gotten hotter, hasn’t she?”
She has no idea. All Harry can think about is how someone already so beautiful has grown to be so perfect. Everything about her makes Harry want to get down on his knees and worship every inch of her body. He has to bite down on his bottom lip to stop himself from thinking how much of a wreck he wants to make out of her.
“I don’t know how she did it. You better get her while you still have the chance, I know many, many men who want a taste of her.”
No is the first thing Harry thinks when the words leave from Gemma’s mouth. As hypocritical and selfish as it is, knowing other men have shown an interest in her makes his skin crawl. And he can’t help but feel his throat tighten at the moment Y/n realizes he had brought Kendall to this party.
“Is she—“ he can’t even finish his sentence without his jaw tightening again, hindering the rest of his question from leaving his lips.
“Oh, quit your worrying, H. She’s single, I don’t think she’d ever date someone who isn’t you. Besides, I don’t think you can do much about it with Kendall here.”
Gemma lifts a finger to where Kendall is standing, still in the same spot as she talks to his aunt Leslie. His heart hurts knowing what Y/n will feel when she finds out. He knows that there is always a part of her that feels discouraged whenever there’s a new woman in his life. In between Harry and Y/n’s love for each other was a mix of false hopes and miscommunication, and it always fucked them up whenever anything else was put in their way.
Gemma pats his shoulder before making rounds to her family and friends again, leaving Harry slumped against the counter with not a drop of wine to numb his scrambling mind.
When Y/n finishes catching up with the rest of Harry’s family, she finds that her patience is wearing thin. It’s been a year since she’s seen the love of her life, and knowing that he’s somewhere near her is enough to get her heart racing.
When she sees him sitting alone at the kitchen island, wearing his infamous pink suit and staring down at his fingers, it’s as if her body starts to malfunction. Her legs stop moving and her lips part, eyes glistening with admiration as she sees him for the first time in so long.
He’s as beautiful as ever, his new haircut accentuating his facial structure. His lips seem so much more red, too, which are complimented greatly by that goddamn suit. Everything about him radiates, like he’s developed into a whole other person. She’ll never quite grasp the idea that she’s about to reunite with him; something about it makes her palms sweat.
Harry lifts his head up to look at her in all her glory. His heart warms at her presence more than the wine did, and he can’t help but to take a breath of relief when he finally hears her voice again.
“Y/n.” He breathes out, his fingers instinctively reaching up to the ends of her cut hair.
He chokes out a laugh of admiration when he sees her this close to him. She is so much different—so much more perfect than he ever remembers her being and it takes his breath away.
His fingers twist her hair, wrapping them around the digits before letting the strands fall back in place again. He never saw her without her hair down to her waist, and now that he has, he never wants to see her hair past her shoulders again.
“It’s so beautiful” he whispers, “you look so beautiful like this, Y/n. I absolutely love it.”
She blushes, her chin tucking slightly into her neck as if trying to hide how much of a reaction he got out of her. No matter how many years she’s known him, she was never used to the way he spoke to her.
“It was spontaneous. Really wanted a change, and it looks like I’m not the only one.”
Her hands reach to his hair, which is so much shorter compared to the last time she saw him. She remembered she couldn’t keep her hands out of it last year, constantly finding ways to tangle her fingers at the ends. Harry found it hysterical, actually, and thought it was the cutest thing she’s ever done.
“It’s just so soft” she’d say, “it’s like a whole other world in there!”
But now her only option is to tangle her fingers at the roots, and as she does so, her mind drifts to all the other occasions she could have her hands in his hair again.
“It’s so much shorter. Look at that! I can barely tug on it anymore!” She laughs in amusement, her fingers slipping as she pulls too hard.
He smirks up at her, a giggle falling from his lips as he watches her utterly amused reaction. They begin to catch up with the part of their lives they both have missed. Harry talked about his album while Y/n started discussing her new journalism job.
Talking to Y/n is one of the only normal parts of him left, it always gave him a sense of grounding whenever he felt his career was taking off to heights he wasn’t ready for. She is one of the only sense of normality he has left in his life, and it’s another reason as to why he admires her so dearly. She brought out parts of him nobody else could reach, and it’s another reason why he feels so upset he’s barely talked to her.
“Y/n?” he asks hesitantly, reaching his hand over so that his fingertips graze her hand.
Her breath breaks when he touches her, the softness in his voice proving that what is about to be discussed is far more important than their previous conversation. She notices the stress lines in between his forehead and the parting of his wine stained lips when he begins to speak.
“I’m so sorry I haven’t kept in touch with you. I know how it makes me look, especially after everything that happened between us. With the new album and everything, I’ve just been so busy with—“
Harry’s head jumps to where Y/n stares dumbfounded, Kendall holding two glasses of wine in one hand while the other is carrying a plate of chicken wings. She’s looking down at Y/n, too, her eyebrows lifted up in an intimidating manner. There’s a scowl present on her lips as she continues to tower over her.
Y/n feels tears building in her eyes as she takes in the situation at hand. She was so fucking dumb to think that Harry was going to come to Anne’s party alone, especially since his new album just released. This is Kendall’s prime time appearance, when Harry needs a familiar famous face beside him to advertise his solo career.
This isn’t anything new—this isn’t anything unfamiliar, but the pain feels like a fresh wound to her heart. Harry and Y/n are nearly 24, with having known each other and felt something for each other for years, she thought that if anything were going to happen, it was going to happen now. But everything between them has remained stagnant for so long that the last sliver of hope she had for their potential relationship has been completely taken away from her. By Kendall, again.
“W—Wow, I’m sorry. I didn’t—I didn’t know Harry had invited you.”
“Yeah,” Kendall nods, “he invited me last night.”
Y/n’s lips purse together, nodding her head as her eyes drift around the kitchen. Anything to avoid Kendall’s eyes—anything to feel as unimportant as she does now.
Harry’s eyes squeeze shut, a small hissing releasing from his tongue at how wrong it all sounds, considering absolutely nothing happened between Harry and Kendall the previous night besides being demanded that the two of them are to be seen together again.
“Right,” Y/n’s voice cracks, “well, I’m sorry to interrupt your time together. I’m going to go to Gemma’s room, got a phone call from my dad a while ago so I should go check up on him. I’ll see you guys around.”
She musters up a pathetic smile before practically running away from them. After everything they both told each other, after all the feelings they’ve had toward each other, how could Harry keep doing this to her? How could he keep being with Kendall when he says he loves Y/n?
She doesn’t even find the strength in her to hold in her tears before she approaches the steps, not daring to look back at them again. She never wants to see them in the same room again, it’ll be too much her heart can handle.
“You’ve really got to be fucking kidding me, Kendall.” Harry growls.
His hands fist around the wine glass, his knuckles turning white and he’s absolutely shocked it hasn’t shattered into pieces in his hands from all the anger pulsing through his veins.
“Jesus, Harry, neither one of you can take a joke. Does she not understand that all of this is for the press? She keeps acting like we’re a couple.”
“Could you really blame her after that? ‘He invited me last night,’ you’re really getting a kick out of making her uncomfortable, aren’t you?”
He grumbles as he takes a long sip of his wine, hoping that the alcohol loosens his muscles enough to restrain himself from doing anything he regrets. He loves his mum too much to start an argument during her birthday party, and as much as Kendall’s shifting Harry’s mood, he still appreciates her as a friend to ruin anything.
“That wasn’t even my fault, you both dug into that way too deep. Last night does not mean while we were fucking. It’s a time of day.”
“It’s the way you said it.”
“Are you being serious, Harry?”
He slams his glass down on the island, grumbling under his breath while he stands up from his chair. No matter how much anger is in him now, the only thoughts swirling in his brain are wondering if Y/n’s okay. She would have never left the party to go into a secluded room, not even if her dad called her.
“You leave her the fuck alone, Kendall. I mean it.”
He storms away from her, desperate to find Y/n because God only knows what’s really happening in that bedroom. Y/n’s emotions and feelings are always positive, always so bright, and he refuses to be the reason they turn upside down. She doesn’t deserve all he keeps doing to her, she doesn’t deserve him.
When Harry nearly swings himself onto the first step, he can already hear the soft murmur of Y/n’s and Anne’s voice, which makes him stop from approaching them any more than he has already.
“Y/n? Y/n, darling?” Anne asks with worry when she sees Y/n climbing up the top step with tears in her eyes, soft cries falling from her throat as her hand attempts to silence them.
She reaches an arm out for her, tugging at the front of Y/n’s dress slightly to get her attention. She’s grateful it was Anne who found her this way instead of any other guest at the party, considering nobody besides her and Harry have seen her with a frown on her face.
“Y/n, baby, what’s going on with you?”
The lights are off in the hallway, with no guests permitted in the area, which gives Y/n the proper time to fully allow her tears to fall down her cheeks.
“I’m so s—sorry, Anne.” Y/n cries.
Anne’s hands rub her shoulders, reassuring her that there’s absolutely nothing for her to apologize for. It also lets her know that she’s willing to listen to her, no matter where or when—she’ll always be there.
“I’m almost 24, Anne, and I’ve put so much of my life on hold for him.”
She knows instantly who Y/n’s talking about. It wasn’t difficult to notice the undying connection between Y/n and her son, especially as the years went on. They have grown so strongly together, there has never been a doubt in Anne’s mind that Y/n is going to be the girl Harry ends up marrying. Everyone in the family called it a destiny waiting to happen, but it has been so long since anything has happened between them, and Anne can’t help but feel heartbroken to know Y/n’s carrying the wrong idea about him and Kendall.
“And I’ve sacrificed so m—much to continue waiting for him, but I don’t think I can keep doing this anymore. We’re nowhere near where we should be, especially when he keeps spending time with Kendall and I just—I just don’t know if I can—“
“Oh, my darling.” Anne sighs, cradling Y/n’s head against her shoulder as she rubs down her back.
She shushes her through her tears, rocking her slightly in an attempt to calm her from her cries. It’s extremely rare for Y/n to feel upset, so when she does so, Anne knows she deserves all the comfort and love she can get.
“I know you so well, and I know my son. I always knew you were a match made in heaven, my dear. I knew from the start you were more than just an ordinary girl. You’re so special, to everyone in our family, but especially to him. He may not have his head screwed on right most of the time, but if I can promise you anything with all my heart, it’s that he loves you. Please, no matter what, never forget that.”
Y/n nods against her shoulder, thanking her through her violent cries before Anne insists she takes some time to herself. And as much as Y/n wanted to refrain from going into Harry’s bedroom, it’ll be the only place that brings her a sense of comfort.
Harry already knows he’s in for a lecture the second he sees his mum coming down the stairs with bewildered eyes. She grips his shoulders, her face tight with frustration.
“You go over to her and you be the man I taught you to be, Harry.”
Harry’s eyes widen at her words, swallowing thickly at the thought of disappointing another person in his life.
“She loves you and you love her. Stop doing favors for other people and start thinking about you before you ruin both of your lives forever. You hear me?”
Harry nods feverishly, determined and more motivated than ever to fix all that he’s caused. Love comes first, always, and he needs to remember that before he breaks Y/n’s heart completely.
She’s it. She’s all that matters to him.
He barely responds to Anne before he’s racing to his old bedroom, completely clueless as to what he’s going to say, but willing to do anything to get her back.
“Y/n?” Harry calls through the door of his old bedroom. “Y/n, can I come in?”
He knocks on the door lightly, just using the knuckles of his pointer and middle finger. He hears her feet pad over to the door, opening it to reveal her tear stained cheeks. Her hands are trembling against the knob, her breath broken with soft, gentle cries. Her eyes are widened with sadness, wet and red from tears she barely ever cries.
“Y/n.” He whimpers, tentatively reaching his shaking fingers up to her cheeks. He wipes away the tears from the bottoms of her eyes, sighing upsettingly as her eyes close at his touch. “Never seen you like this. Please talk to me.”
Her lips quiver as another sob rips through her, her hand reaching up to capture his between her fingers. Her saddened and wet eyes looking down at the intertwined hands now resting against her lap.
“I’m so tired, H.” She whimpers, “So tired.”
His lips press against her forehead, “I know, love. I know.”
She wraps her arms around him, her face burying in between his chest as he lets her tears soak in his undershirt.
“I couldn’t take it anymore. I thought I’d finally be alone with you after all this time. I missed being close to you, I wanted to be closer to you and I thought you felt the same about me and I didn’t understand, Harry, I didn’t get it and—“
“Hey, relax for me.” Harry mumbles, his lips grazing tenderly along her cheek.
She takes a deep breath, her fingers fisting the back of his suit tighter in her fists. She rests her chin on the top of his chest, tears still roaming down her face as she lets out an exasperated sigh. Her fingertips trace patterns on his back, her eyes fluttering closed as he pushes some of her hair off of her face, refraining them from sticking to her wet cheeks.
“I didn’t get it,” she whispers, “I was so confused, and when you didn’t answer my calls or texts I thought you didn’t find me important. And I was under no right to be upset about it, because you’re busy and you have priorities. But when I saw you today, I didn’t see you as the Harry I always have, I still can’t tell you what I saw but I wanted every part of you more than I ever have before. But when I saw Kendall I—“
Her cries and words die down when she feels Harry’s tender lips against hers. She’s taken aback at first, and before she has any time to really kiss him back, he’s already pulled away.
“Let me fix this.” He breathes out, “let show you that I only want you.”
His lips press against the side of her mouth, not allowing himself to kiss her the way he wants to until she lets him. They then begin to travel down her neck, along her jaw, around her mouth.
Y/n’s breath is stiff as he does so, embracing the feeling of his mouth against her skin. They’ve only ever kissed a handful of times, none of them being passionate or loving. They’ve shared pecks while saying goodbyes or after confessing their feelings, but none quite like this—none quite like the one anticipating to happen.
His breathing his hard when he continues to kiss along her skin, his fingers moving longly in her hair the more his mouth presses against her.
“Will you let me?” He whispers when his lips are ghosting over hers, “this okay?”
She nods feverishly, hitting the point of desperation when she feels his breath fan over the skin of her face. She’s been needing this for far too long now.
His thumb runs over her bottom lip one, two, three times before he finally leans in. Their lips mush together passionately, only breaking apart to move their position before locking again. Their tongues meet in the middle, making the both of them moan at the unfamiliar spark coursing through their veins.
Harry walks toward his bed until Y/n’s knees hit the edge of it, making her back meet the mattress. Their lips haven’t detached once, not daring to break away from the feeling they’ve both been deprived of.
They’re both making out on Harry’s childhood bed, grinding onto each other half naked like two hormonal teenagers. Their clothes thrown across the room, lips swollen from all the suction and nibbling, and hair completely knotted from either of their fingertips, the party below them long forgotten.
“Wait, wait wait wait!” Y/n gasps, lifting herself off of his chest.
Harry’s chest rises and falls rapidly, trying to catch his breath as he looks up at Y/n in confusion. He watches as a smirk lifts from her lips as she peers down at his flushed face, giggling slightly at his complete fucked out appearance.
She notices that his lips remained stained from the red wine—a little faded—but still making her body weak at the sight of it.
“’s the matter?” He croaks.
His voice is thick—an entirely different level of raspy, and Y/n wonders how she’s lived so long without hearing him speak in that way. Between all the kissing, all the touching, all the moaning, his voice has a particular roughness to it that Y/n could feed off of if she had to.
“We shouldn’t do this, right? I mean, we’re about to fuck during your mum’s birthday party. Your entire family and Kendall are downstairs, anybody could walk in at any second, or hear us, and your mum could find that so disrespectful and—“
Her rambling is interrupted by his lips, meeting hers passionately between her words.
There is no way in hell he’s leaving this room tonight. Everything that’s been stagnant between them is finally moving in the right direction, and he can’t find it anywhere in him to walk away from it.
“You think I’m letting you go now?” He whispers, his thumb running along her bottom lip. “I have been waiting for this moment with you since high school, sweetheart.”
His lips reattach to her neck, sucking on spots he hasn’t already left marks on, soaking up every bit of the time he has with her before it’s over. This is the first time they’re going to make love, and he wants to feel and remember every bit of this moment.
“B—But your mum—“ She moans, her fingers nearly tangling at the ends of his hair as she hisses in pleasure from his tongue.
“Every single person downstairs knows about us. This—this happening right now, has been expected to happen since I first brought you home. I guarantee you, nothing will make her more happy than knowing her son and his future wife are finally acting on our feelings instead of pushing them to the side again.”
His words make Y/n blush like no other; her cheeks turning the shade of pink on her dress she wore previously. It’s then he notices just hot fucking pretty she is in pink, how every tint of the color compliments her in ways he can barely wrap his head around.
“Future wife, hm?” She smirks, tapping the pads of her fingers against his bare collarbones.
He kisses her again.
“Thought you knew that, love. Wouldn’t know a single soul I’d rather spend the rest of my life with.” His fingers dig into her hips, “’s always been you.“
Y/n pushes Harry’s back against the mattress again, trailing her fingers down his torso. She giggles when his teeth clench at her touch, finding it almost irresistible to embrace the way he responds to her touch so easily.
RFA+V+Saeran accidentally hitting MC headcannons? I'm sorry if this triggers you or something but I'm curious how will they react!
(￣▽￣) This got progressively more fun to write~~ It varies from fluff to comedy to slight angst lolol
RFA Accidentally Hits MC
He hadn’t meant to, he swears!!
He was just so excited about finally achieving a higher
level than Seven on LOLOL that he’d carelessly thrown his headphones behind him
and you just happened to be there!
When he turned around to tell you his good news, he noticed
the newly-formed bump on your head.
Oblivious, he tilted his head in question. “Oh, how’d you
get hurt, MC?”
You fired a glare at him, crossing your arms and stomping
off, irritated by his carelessness. ‘I’m
going to ignore him!’ you decided.
You held true to your word.
It wasn’t until days later (in which Yoosung spent whining
for your attention) when he heard you complaining to Jaehee about what had
happened, and how careless he was.
Finally learning his mistake, he slid to the floor, grasping
at your leg while he stared up at you with tears in his eyes. “I’m sorry!!!” he
wailed, feeling the guilt him hard. “I’ll do anything to make it up to youuuu”
Dammit, his puppy face was hard to resist.
He noticed you trying to sneak up on him by looking at your
shadow on the floor, and he swiftly turned around so he could tease you that
your plan failed but… but…
His long ponytail somehow whacked you in the face, leaving a
pink mark on your cheek
“Owwie.” You rubbed your cheek with a slight frown.
He shrieks at the sin he’d just committed. I JUST HIT MY PRINCESS
He rushed out an apology in a panic, “MC, I’m so sorry, oh
my gosh, I’ll never do that agai-”
Low whistles came from their surroundings.
“Wow, what an awful
boyfriend, did he hit her? Her cheek is pink… Poor girl…”
“Isn’t that the actor
Zen? Didn’t know he was abusive to his girlfriend…”
Every comment only made him feel guiltier. He hadn’t meant
to hurt you—he would never!
He placed his head in his hands, feeling horrible about
himself. You noticed that tears were welling up in his eyes.
“Hey, it was just an accident… And it was only your hair.
It’s okay Zen. I know you’d never hurt me,” you murmured gently, smiling
brightly up at him as you brushed aside his bangs.
“M-maybe I shouldn’t stand so close to you anymore…” He
shook his head, frantically backing away from you, not processing your words at
Well, you sure had fun explaining why Zen kept running away
from you like a little kid at the RFA party. It only got worse when Seven
joined in, “ARE WE PLAYING TAG?!? TAG, YOU’RE IT, MC!!!” and running off…
As usual, you were helping out at the coffeeshop, scurrying
around behind the counter to get to the customers’ orders.
And like most days, it was busy.
As you were serving a customer at the cash register, Jaehee
was rushing to finish someone else’s order, and in her hurry, she bumped into
The both of you crashed down, with her knee digging into
your abdomen. You felt the wind knocked out of you, and you gasped for air,
your eyes rolling to the back of your head from the pain.
“MC!” Jaehee shrieked, the guilt hitting her immediately.
“MC, are you okay? Can you hear me?”
You were in too much pain to even realize she was talking.
You closed your eyes as you rolled to your side, trying to tolerate it.
“Hey, take my order already!” someone demanded.
Jaehee slowly stood up, a fierce glare upon her face as she
slammed her fist onto the countertop. “Your order? MC is hurt and all you can
think about is your order? You think your order is more important?” she growled,
glaring daggers in the inconsiderate customer’s direction.
The customer visibly gulped, shuddering from the intensity
of Jaehee’s anger. “N-no, ma’am…”
Your girlfriend clicked her tongue. In an icy cold tone, she
stated, “I’ve never had to ask this of a customer before. Get. Out.”
Ignoring the line of customers, Jaehee chose to tend to you
first, carrying you princess style (remember this gal can fight) to the
staffroom and checking the damage. Upon seeing the bruise, she winced, feeling
another wave of guilt overwhelm her. You could see her silently mouthing yet
another apology as she stared at it.
“It’ll heal. It was only an accident, Jaehee, don’t worry,”
you soothed her, smiling gently. Albeit with a frown, she accepted it.
…Although, she made you take multiple days off after that,
despite your protests.
He’d just gotten out of a 6 hour long meeting, feeling
completely worn out. Nonetheless, it was over, so he could finally return to
You’d asked to meet with him for lunch that day, patiently
waiting for him to finish up.
But he had hardly taken a step into the office, and he
received a call from another business partner. He flashed you an apologetic
look before taking the call, walking to the far end of the room to talk
You didn’t mind, it was just a little more waiting. The call
couldn’t possibly take that long, after all!
Or so you thought.
But over an hour had passed already, and his lunch break was
almost over. Growing impatient, you walked up to your husband, reaching to hug
Noticing your actions, he swatted his hand dismissively,
trying to tell you he was busy. Unfortunately, he was distracted, and he ended
up smacking your face.
The moment his hand made contact with your face, his
expression froze. In a split second, Jumin hung up on his call, setting aside
his phone and rushing to your aid.
But you pushed him away.
He winced at the hurt expression on your face. You weren’t upset
because he’d hit you, but that he had tried to dismiss you as if you were just
another employee to him—as if you weren’t important. But you couldn’t say that
out loud to him. Just because he had hurt your feelings, it didn’t mean you had
to do the same to him.
You lowered your eyes, avoiding his worried gaze, and quietly
walked out of his office. Jumin sank into his chair in despair, feeling awful
about what he’d done. He knew how it felt to be cast aside for work. And he
hated that you had to go through the same experience.
After finishing work that night, he returned home, still
feeling ashamed of himself. You’d already turned off all the lights as if to
say you weren’t waiting for him tonight. He hesitantly opened the door to your
shared bedroom, where you were reading a book in bed.
Jumin held up a bouquet of purple hyacinths, nervously
forcing a smile on his face. “I-I’m sorry about earlier today, MC…” he said
“You think flowers will make me forgive you?” you sighed, a
frown tugging at your lips. “While I appreciate the sentiment, the flowers won’t
win me over. I understand that you may have been stressed from work, but that
doesn’t make me any less upset about it. Well, you should get some rest.”
He looked away, then suddenly grabbed your hand. “I… Will
you let me explain myself, at least?”
Albeit surprised, you nodded calmly.
“The reason I’ve been working so hard lately… even today… it’s
because I wanted to clear my schedule to spend time with you. I know you’ve
been very patient with me all this time, and I’m really grateful for that. I
just… kind of missed passing time with you, so I was planning to finish up next
week’s work and then properly ask you out on a date… But I guess it really took
a toll on me.” He sighed again. “I’m sorry.”
You wrapped your arms around him, a soft smile upon your
face. “Then, make it up to me by staying with me all next week, okay?”
Although you wouldn’t see it, Jumin had an adorable grin on
his face. ‘I love you so much.’
If you were wondering why Saeyoung was laughing at 6AM in
the morning, it’s because he woke up to your face.
Now, he wakes up with you everyday, but it was the first
time that you awoke with a nosebleed. He grinned cheekily, “I didn’t know I was
that hot, babe.”
…to which, earned him a smack in the head.
“This is your fault, you idiot,” you grumbled, carefully
getting out of bed.
He cocked his head in confusion, “Wait, really?”
“You whacked me with your arm. Again.”
Although he felt guilty for hurting you, he covered it up
with another grin. “Just admit that you were nosebleeding because I’m hot, MC~”
Despite his words, he still led you to the bathroom and
helped you clean up the blood. He took it upon himself to wash the blankets and
bedsheets which had gained bloodstains, and even made breakfast for you that
And it’d be over breakfast that he quietly apologized to
“Hey, uhm… I know I was kidding around earlier, but I’m
really sorry about hitting you, MC…” he mumbled, a light blush spreading across
his cheeks. He wasn’t used to being so sincere, but he knew he should
You merely flicked his forehead. “It’s okay. I know you didn’t
mean to. Besides, I’ve kicked you off the bed multiple times because you were
taking up too much space.”
His head snapped up immediately, narrowing his eyes at you
accusingly. “Wait what?! But you always told me that I rolled off by myself!!”
He was chanting it over and over, his head on his knees, his
entire body trembling. You tried to approach him, but he only flinched, backing
“N-no, stay away. I hurt you, oh my god, I hurt you,” he whispered, pain dripping in his voice. His eyes
were wide with horror, and your heart clenched at the sight. He was scared.
Scared of himself.
Now, what had caused this?
You’d sprung onto Saeran, declaring a pillow war, and the two of
you had been smacking each other with your pillows, trying to get the upper hand
over each other. But then he’d tripped over his own feet while he was swinging
his pillow at you, and ended up smashing his elbow into you, knocking you to
You’d only scraped your knee from the fall, and it only bled a
little, but the injury was enough to make Saeran freak out.
“I know you didn’t mean to hurt me,” you said in a gentle tone,
trying to coax him. “You would never hurt me.”
“I d-d-don’t want to hurt a-a-anyone,” he stammered, still
shuddering. “P-p-please believe me. I’m sorry, I’m sorry, imsorryimsorryimsorryi-”
You took ahold of his trembling hands, kissing the fingertips. “I
love you, Saeran. It was an accident. You didn’t have any other intentions. It’s
okay. I’m okay. Look, it’s just a scratch.”
It took a few more moments to calm him down, but he eventually
came to terms that it was only an accident, and that it wasn’t his fault.
Still, though the incident was small and harmless, the fear that he could
become abusive, just like his mother,
began to haunt him since that day.
Jihyun frowned, turning his head to find the
source of that annoying sound. Although he had recovered from his blindness,
(thanks to Jumin finding the best doctors and funding the surgery), his ears were
still sensitive to distant sounds.
He walked out of the kitchen, noticing that the buzzing sound became louder. It must be closer now…
‘BZZZ!!’ His eyes caught the culprit: a mosquito was
flying around the house! He tried to slap the mosquito with both hands, failing
miserably as it diligently flew away. Oh,
it’s on, Mosquito.
Jihyun began running like a madman around the
house, swatting at the pest and missing every time. And then, it chose to stay
“Eeep!” you squealed, feeling a harsh impact on your butt. “W-what
was that for, Jihyun?!”
He glanced up at you in surprise, taking in your pouting face.
“Ahh!! I’m so sorry, MC! I was so focused on killing the mosquito,
I didn’t realize. I’m so sorry…” He was rambling in his apology, sounding
You smirked, then grabbed him by the collar. “Hey. I didn’t say I
didn’t enjoy it, now, did I?” you whispered huskily into his ear. You watched
as Jihyun’s ears turned pink from embarrassment.
(Meanwhile, Seven was listening from the monitor. He whistled
lowly upon hearing your words. “Damn. Kinky,” he muttered. Too bad Jihyun had
broken his bug, or else he would’ve loved to see what happened next.)

As was usually the case after an akuma attack, Alya Cesaire
had been running on a caffeine rush and adrenaline high that made sleep
impossible. The dedicated blogger would
not see the back of her eyes until her copy was written, her files rendered,
and her newest masterpiece was live for the entire world to see.
Or at least the majority of Paris. She was young yet.
Fortunately for the aspiring journalist, the Ladyblog’s wide
and devoted readership ensured that the hits would rack up quickly regardless
of the time of posting.
What no one could have anticipated, however, was just how
It started with the local news.
Nadja Chamack’s bright-eyed good morning Paris grin
punctuated the more somber news of floods, akumas, and politics with the
light-hearted clip. The segment usually
reserved for heartwarming fluff pieces about eye-seeing dogs and neighborhood
bake sales was instead taken over by the city’s most reliable ratings machine.
Ladybug and Chat Noir were television gold.
From there the clip hit the major news networks and was
being broadcast to the whole of France.
Then came the talk shows, the copycat blogs, the online articles,
Buzzfeed, and more. When the video hit
the front page of Reddit there was no stopping the infection.
By the time Monday morning rolled around, less than three
days after the akuma attack and the video going live, Chat Noir had become the
laughing stock of Paris, the Internet, and the world.
And Marinette Dupain-Cheng was absolutely furious.
Prompt: Steve doesn’t know where they come from, and he isn’t exactly sure why they’re there. All he knows is that his body is littered in bruises, and there’s something different about them. They aren’t just bruises, and they certainly didn’t come from a trip in a step or clumsiness. No, Steve knows there’s more behind the marks that litter his body.
Warnings: marks, bruises, pain, physical abuse, force, sexual inclinations, etc. I mean no disrespect to anyone or to upset anyone, this story starts off rough but I can say that things will get better.
A/N: I hope you all enjoy this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it. Send me a little comment in the ask section or leave it below on what you thought of this chapter. It doesn’t have to be long, I appreciate every single comment I receive and telling me just helps inspire me to write it more frequently.
Also, I tried to do some research on what really happens in parental abuse cases - I did my best but in no way did i get everything correct. So if somethings wrong please forgive me!
P.S. This a soulmate AU.

You could feel your entire body shaking and your vision hazy. Your palms were clammy and you clenched your fists tightly with distress. You practically squirmed in the uncomfortable chair you’d been sat in, and stared at the police office around with anxiety. Were you really doing this? Was this really the best thing for you? You were about to reveal the one thing you’d been told, beat, to keep a secret…
You couldn’t help but flinch every time the door opened, fearing it to be your father- but it never was. And instead you were left to sit in Hawkin’s police station anxiously, and debate over what you were really doing. Ever since this had begun, you’d kept it a secret- but everything seemed to be shifting and you didn’t know if it was for the better or for worse. Your father had a hold over you, a power that forced you to submit and the fact that you were breaking it, terrified you.
You glanced beside you at the figure of Steve, who was much more relaxed than you. You felt like you might pass out, and you’re sure your skin is a deathly pale shade. You thought maybe Steve was oblivious to your anxiety, but it wasn’t until you felt Steve set his hand upon your own did you seem to snap out of whatever stupor you’d been stuck on, and it was almost like the colour to the world around you returned as you gazed upon Steve’s dark brown eyes. His face fell with concern upon your jittery form, and he squeezed your hand; “Y/N?” It was almost like his voice was in the background, as if Steve wasn’t really sitting before you. “Y/N, what’s wrong?”
You didn’t know why - you couldn’t explain - but his voice was like a echo in the background.
“I can’t-” You started, but couldn’t find the words. Shaking your head, you stared rapidly around, finding many different faces looking upon you- but they weren’t really. You only imagined it. But in that moment it felt as if the entire police station was staring in your direction and they all had the eyes of your father. He would kill you- he was going to kill you… “I can’t do this.” You cried, moving to stand up and once you had, you begun making your way over to the exit.
“What?” Steve questioned in a whisper, rushing after you. He caught your wrist in the nick of time and quickly spun you around so you were facing him, but your eyes didn’t meet his own and instead your eyes flew from every direction in panic. Everywhere you looked you found your father’s eyes and your stomach dropped a little bit more each time. “He’s going to kill me.” You whispered, finally meeting Steve’s eyes- and Steve quickly noticed the wild, terrified look upon your own. “Steve, he’s going to kill me.”
Steve acting quickly, grabbing ahold of your face and you froze in fear, thinking it was your father in your hazed mind. But the hands were soft and the grip was much gentler than that of your father’s and you found Steve’s eyes instead of your father’s. At that moment, you were reminded of where you were. Despite the people around you, Steve pressed his forehead against yours so that you could only focus on him and whispered; “i’m not going to let him hurt you.”
You panted, as if you’d ran a marathon, but yet, felt yourself listening to Steve’s words.
“I won’t ever let him hurt you again.” Steve whispered, cradling you. “The chief will help. Y/N, listen to me.” Tugging gently, Steve leaned back and lowered so that he could meet your gaze head on. “If it’s get;s bad in there, we’ll leave- together. I won’t force you to do anything you don’t want to.”
There was a pause of silence before you nodded; “okay.”
Steve smiled; “okay?”
There was a thud that echoed through the station and soon a new figure entered the room. You could only guess him as the chief, and you watched the man look around the space before his eyes zoned in on you and he sent a small, meaningless smile. “You Y/N?”
You swallowed the lump in your throat, stepping away from Steve and nodding. The chief nodded himself and turned back around, “well i’m Hopper. Let’s go.” He pointed in the direction he’d come from and without another word started heading off, you glanced at Steve who nodded reassuringly and begun following Hopper, Steve right behind you. “Oh, he can’t come.” Hopper quickly cut in, referring to Steve.
Your eyes widened, and you looked at Steve in alarm, who in turn widened his eyes and glanced between you and the chief.
“Is he family?” Hopper asked and Steve shook his head; “then you can’t come.”
“No.” You spoke finally, your voice squeaking slightly. “No, he has to come.”
“He comes.” You demanded, grabbing ahold of Steve’s hand and looking defiantly Hopper’s way. He paused in response, obviously not really expecting the harshness behind your response and he glanced at Steve who shrugged. Though there was a hint of a smile upon Steve’s lips as he felt pride well within him. Sighing, Hopper nodded; “okay Harrington, looks like you’re coming.”
It felt like an eternity as Hopper led you to his office, and with every step the weight on your shoulders grew heavier.
You sat in one of the chairs in front of Hopper’s desk, watching him step around and sit himself. Silence echoed as Hopper took his time getting ready and with a unimpressed expression, you watched him take a bite out of his apple before leaning against the top of his desk. The fear that had riddled you slowly dispersed as you felt annoyed. This was meant to be the chief who would help you? He didn’t look like he gave a damn.
“Okay, Y/N, what seems to be the problem?” Hopper asked with a smile but it meant nothing and only further annoyed you.
You hesitated answering, unsure how to word it- because if you were being honest you didn’t know what the problem was… or more how to describe it. This was so much more than a simple problem and even you knew that. You couldn’t describe in words how you felt, and it seemed Steve noticed as he let his hand fall against yours in moral support.
But it seemed your hesitancy only further annoyed Hopper and sighing, he leaned against his chair. “Listen Y/N, if you’re not going to tell me-”
“My father physically and mentally abuses me.” You interrupted the chief, glancing up from your lap to meet his eye. Your annoyance with his disregard had become too much and what better way to say what was wrong that just saying it? You watched his eyes fall, and he almost looked questioningly at you and Steve before a serious expression fell over Hopper’s face.
“Two years, I think it’s been?” You questioned lightly, a bout of confidence growing from seemingly nowhere. “My father had me and him move to Hawkin’s so he could isolate himself, and the friends my family had made in my old town would stop asking him questions on why I had new bruises every day. I’m expected to come home by four thirty every day and make him dinner before five, if I don’t I am beat until I fall unconscious. I am not allowed to leave the house after school and whatever he does to me, I have to accept. I cannot question him or disobey him, or I will be beat.” You explained, your voice emotionless. You never knew how good it’d feel to say it- to say everything your father inflicted on you.
Hopper paused again, before pulling out a file and a pen and turned back to you. As air of seriousness fell over the room, and you finally felt like you had power over your next decisions - it felt nice. “Can you show me the bruises?” You nodded in response, meeting Steve’s gaze for a moment before standing up. You pulled off the jacket Steve had leant you, extending your arm so that Hopper could see the marks bruising them. Then you raised your shirt slightly, showing both the fresh and old marks that littered your stomach. They were purple, blue and black and some looked even a little infected.
You watched both Steve and Hopper’s faces grimace before you sat back down.
You let out a heavy breath, the weight suddenly lifted off your shoulders.
“What’s your father’s name, Y/N?”
After hours of sitting in that office with Hopper, you finally found yourself free and in Steve’s car. You couldn’t quite describe the feelings that you felt, and you weren’t exactly sure what would happen after this day. But there was a weight off your shoulders and felt almost as if you were free, like the prison you’d been trapped in for so long- the door had finally opened.
Your father couldn’t touch you- not now at least. Hopper had reassured you that over the course of the next seventy-two hours he wouldn’t be able to reach you and that you were under protective custody. There would be a court meeting two days from now and Hopper hoped that if all went well, any legal rights your father had over you would be terminated. And in a month, when you were eighteen you could find your own place and your father would never be able to touch you.
It felt like for once things were finally going right.
“Y/N?” Steve questioned softly and you turned to meet his eyes- there was a new air about you. One Steve couldn’t quite read, but one thing he knew was he preferred it and as long as everything went well, Steve hoped you’d finally be able to live your life.
It would take a long time before you recovered, you’d been abused for two years or more and that kind of trauma doesn’t just disappear. Steve knew that. But finally getting the justice you deserved seemed to bring about a atmosphere about you, and Stan liked the smile that had reached your lips when Hopper said your father couldn’t hurt you anymore. And Steve knew, if you let him, he’d stay by your side as you got better.
“Thank you.” You smiled at Steve, the same genuine smile he’d seen earlier that day in the hallway. It never failed to blow him away, and he found himself mesmerized by the new glow in your eyes. Whenever Steve had seen you, it was almost like you had a cloud over yourself- one that couldn’t be removed and your eyes had been void of any life. But now, even something as small as finally admitting to what your father had put you through, seemed to brighten your eyes.
Your eyes were beautiful.
Steve nodded and in the moment, he reached his hand out to cup your cheek. He was happy for you, of course he was. And Steve was glad that he was the one able to help you out of the hole you’d dug yourself in- he was happy that he was the one to bring you back to life. It felt right, and though every moment Steve had spent with you had been anything but happy- being with you felt right. But there was still a question that plagued his mind; “what happened?”
The questioned confused you, and in response you tilted your head to the left. “You said two years ago, the abuse had started…” Steve clarified and your face fell with realization- oh… “Why?” You didn’t respond right away, instead you hesitated. You’d made a solemn vow that you’d never speak of that day, it was just too painful. And unconsciously your hand fell to your neck where that necklace had once resided and felt your stomach drop when you remembered that it was no longer there. “You don’t have to-”
“No.” You interrupted Steve, smiling gently. “No i’ll tell you.” Taking a deep breath, you reached up to grab the hand Steve cradled your face with and brought it to your lap. You’d never wanted to speak of that day again, but you trusted Steve- and it almost felt as if he should know. “My mom, two years ago… she died in a car accident.”
Steve’s face fell and concern filled his gaze; “Y/N…”
You shook your head. “We were suppose to go see a movie together, one that i’d begged her to take me to and we never made it… My father blames me, because I was the one to convince us to go and because of that he hates me.” You paused, unsure how to say the next words- you’d always thought it but you’d never had to say it aloud. Saying it only made the guilt stronger. “And he’s right- mom would’ve never gone if it wasn’t for me. I-I killed her.”
Steve didn’t know what to say- there was nothing he could say. What you said was not true, even if Steve hadn’t been there that day it wasn’t your fault that someone had hit you guys. There’s was no way you ever could’ve known something like that would’ve happened. So instead of saying anything, Steve just leaned forward, using his other hand to now cup your face and brought his lips against your own. You froze at first, images of everything with Billy flashing through your mind but then you remembered this was Steve and Steve would never hurt you.
It was so sudden and it took you a moment, but you never regretted kissing him back that day.
So you kissed him, leaning awkwardly over your car seat to wrap your arms around his neck. His lips were warm and there was a feeling of safety that ran through you as you kissed Steve. You’d never felt such a gentle intimate act before. Any time a man had touched you, it’d always been to hurt you but Steve had never laid a rough hand on you. You weren’t sure what you were feeling and it seemed so quick but there was just this feeling that welled within you when you were around Steve and it’d been there since you first saw him that day in English class.
You pulled back, panting and met those same brown eyes that were so different from those of your fathers. You smiled and Steve mimicked your actions, using his thumb to rub down your cheek. You were inches apart and could practically feel his breath on your own, but you didn’t care- being this close to Steve felt right.
“You didn’t kill anybody.” Steve whispered and though you didn’t respond, you trusted Steve’s words.
And as you stared into his eyes, and the feeling of his lips radiated on your own, you realized something.
Sorry this took a while. I was going to put this up yesterday but shit happened and i couldn’t. hope yall don’t mind. Check out my masterlist for the rest of the members.
Kim Taehyung was angry. So very angry. He couldn’t choose why, though. He had so many reasons.
Was it because of the hot weather? Was it because of the pressure of the new album? Was it because of the stress that came with his fame? Was it because of the nagging of his parents? Was it because of his fight with Jungkook? or Jimin or Yoongi? Was it because Bang-pd never seemed to pay him as much attention? Was it because of his girlfriend? because she was too nonchalant? because she wasn’t doting on him all the time like other girls did to their boyfriends? did she even like him? or was she together with him just for the fame? would she break up with him if he ever hit a financial low?
He did not know.
What he did subconsciously know was who he could take that anger out on without too much collateral damage. Not his parents, not his fans, not his band-mates, not his CEO…but you. You would understand, surely? He needed to vent and you were his girlfriend, right? His other half, his lover, his significant other. You loved him, right? You could take his anger for him. You would stroke his head and tell him that he could scream as much as he wanted, as long as he wanted, if it meant dissipating his frustration. The frustration that was eating him up inside. It was like at that moment, his sanity was secured inside an overinflated balloon which could burst anytime and yet, someone or the other would keep blowing air into the balloon. What could he do? He wanted so desperately for this phase to end. Nothing else covered his mind except letting his frustration out so when you entered the bighit headquarters with his take-out, he took it as the perfect opportunity.
You loved your boyfriend.
Granted, you were not as expressive in terms of physical affection in front of people, but that did not mean you didn’t love him. You did. You knew it, he knew it and to you, that is all that mattered. The commentary of the people surrounding the relationship was insignificant for you. You would show him love when you felt it most(which was all the time, really) but you did not deem it necessary to show it in front of people, especially keeping in mind the nature of his job. But you had noticed the shift in his behaviour in the past one month. Closed off, paranoid, stressed and angry were the words you would use to describe his behaviour now instead of adorable, alien-like, jovial, cheerful and happy. He snapped more often than not. He fought with his brother like friends. With you. There was something clearly bothering him and he either did not know how to express it or didn’t want to worry you. So you stepped out of your comfort zone and resorted to showing him how loved he was. You would steal kisses, give him back hugs, encourage him to make love (this always seemed to work the best albeit the effect did not last long) and surprise him with take outs from his favourite restaurant. That is exactly what you were doing today. You had hurried to his workplace, the bighit headquarters, as soon as your lunch break had started in the office, knowing that he would be practicing with the boys. You had his take out in one hand and your overcoat hung around the elbow of your other arm. If the boy felt less loved, god knows that you would do anything to make him feel all the love in the world. He deserved it.
You took large steps despite your outfit- a beige pencil skirt paired with tight maroon quarter sleeves and maroon matte pumps. The nature of your job required you to dress fashionably but formally during work hours. Being a lawyer was as much a job of appearances as it was was of immense hard work, both physical and psychological. After all, appearances have a great psychological impact, do they not?
The corners of your mouth lifted into a light smile as you opened the doors of the practice room to find three men sprawled out on the floor out of pure exhaustion and one sitting on the corner chair; his face blank, his eyes glazed.
Your smile changed into a worried frown as soon as you saw him. He was clearly more disturbed than usual. Had something happened? Nontheless, you forced a smile on your face as you shut the door behind you and moved towards him. He didn’t need more negativity around him.
“Hi noona! Is that food?” Jungkook said as soon as he spotted the carry-bag in your hand. Jimin and Hoseok soon followed suit as the they got up from their positions and sat down on the floor, still lacking the energy to stand. Jungkook was young, though. He got up and in a flash he was in front of you, blocking your way and rummaging through the food- until you slapped his hands away, that is.
“Ow! That hurt!” He pouted.
You ruffled his hair, gave him a playful glare and said as you turned around him to go towards Taehyung, “Go fetch your own, kid.”
“Tch, you guys are gross.” Jungkook called after you as he went back to lie down with his hyungs.
You rolled your eyes but continued walking towards your boyfriend.
Hope he likes what I got him.
He knew it. He knew it for sure now. Why hadn’t he noticed it before? You had always been too friendly with the maknae, ruffling his hair and pinching his cheeks as he turned bright red. He had just not thought much of it because you were both family and you wouldn’t do that to him, right? Only now he realised how wrong he was. You were cheating on him with his brother! He grit his teeth at the thought.
How dare you?
He looked up to take in your appearance as you stood in front of him, your coat in one arm and food in the other. He looked you up and down, the tight maroon quarter sleeves covered your torso just right, exposing the right amount of cleavage. Your pencil skirt hugged your small waist perfectly and moved down till your knees, revealing your beautiful legs. He moved his eyes back towards your face as he took in your hair and how it was open, flowing beautifully down your back in long waves.
God, you were breathtakingly beautiful.
He felt his anger dissipate a little as he took in your appearance, feeling himself calm down at your presence only for it to increase a hundred-fold as the image of Jungkook gripping your hair tight while he fucked you senseless made a very vivid appearance in his mind. His mind went blank and red covered his eyes as he completely tuned out your words as you set up his lunch. He pulled you up by your elbow harshly, hardly registering the shocked expression on your face, and whacked you right across your face with strength he did not know he possessed.
You should have noticed it the moment you entered the practice room, the feral look in his eyes. Maybe you even did. But you were too blinded with hope and confidence. You thought that maybe, if you show him how much you care for him, he would slowly open up and share his problems with you.
But you knew now, as you stood gripping the arm of the chair with one hand and your cheek with the other, with Hoseok standing in front of you, shielding you from…your boyfriend and Jimin consoling you by circling his hand on your back and whispering words in your ears that you did not hear at all, that it was a futile attempt.
You let out shaky breaths and grit your teeth as you closed your eyes tightly to avoid thinking about anything at all.
“___, shh, don’t cry. I’m so sorry, it’ll be okay.” Jimin repeatedly said in your ears in an effort to console you.
You eyes flew open. You were crying? You removed your hands from your cheek and the chair simultaneously as you stood up straight. Ignoring the blood on your hand, which was surely from your aching lip, you brought it just below your eyes as you felt the wetness.
You were crying.
It was as if the ballon had burst and in turn, flipped a switch within him. His anger had all but disappeared when he hit you. In it’s place now, was confusion. He was pushed back into the wall, away from you by Jungkook as Jimin hurried to you to see the extent of the damage. Hoseok stood in front of you facing Taehyung, acting as a shield between you and him. But why would he do that? Why would he act as a shield between you and him? He was your boyfriend, he loved you and he had hit-
Taehyung’s heart dropped as he realised why Hoseok stood between you and him.
He had hit you.
“You bastard, how dare you hit a woman?” Hoseok growled under his breath.
Taehyung tried to back away but Jungkook held him in place staring at him with a scandalized expression on his face. “Hyung..w-why?”
Taehyung looked down at his hands with widened eyes as he tried to remember what had gotten him so angry in the first place. Was it something about you and Jungkook or you and Jimin? He couldn’t remember. It was absurd no matter how many times he thought about it. You could never cheat on him. You loved him, he knew it. He closed his eyes as the tears made their way down his face. Suddenly, he felt drained of all energy. It was as if he had been feeling too much lately and he was tired of all the emotions. His back touched the wall and he slid down until he was sitting on the floor, not caring about the tears staining his practice clothes.
“It’s okay Jimin, I’m fine. I’m leaving.”
Taehyung’s energy made a shocking appearance as his eyes flew open at your broken announcement and with the speed of a bullet train, he rushed forward and grabbed your hand.
“___, wh-where are you going? Co-come with me, okay? I’m really sor-”
He was interrupted when you put your right hand up, silencing him.
“Kim Taehyung.” Your eyes were red as you looked right at him. holding yourself together somehow. “We are done. I’ll have moved out by the time you reach home.” And you yanked your hands out of his grip and left the room in the big, long strides you had come in.
Taehyung just stood there in shock. It was as if a thousand bricks had been cemented around his legs and the power of moving his hands and legs had all but abandoned him. He watched you, as you left the building, got in your car and drove away, leaving him for good.
Only then, did he find the strength to turn around in desperation, to his hyung. He stumbled towards Hoseok, eyes flooding with tears as he held on to his hyung’s t-shirt and sobbed in his chest.
“Hy-hyung..what do I do? I-I can’t live without her. P-Please hyung, do something! PLEASE!”
Hoseok removed Taehyung’s grip from his t-shirt as he said the words Taehyung feared the most.
“There’s nothing to be done, Taehyung-ah. You hit your own girl. She’s not coming back and dare I say…you deserve it.”
so that’s it. I’ve left an open ending for reasons I do not know, it just felt right. hope everyone enjoys reading this. Hoseok version will come up next- when, I do not know.
I will repeat this again, it is never ever okay to hit someone. For anyone who is in an abusive relationship, I am so sorry. I hope you can come out of it and I hope you get all the happiness in the world because you deserve it.
The end had finally come and despite the amount of time you spent preparing for it, it still felt like a punch in your stomach. The knot in your throat was painful and your lungs still struggled for air to breathe. Tears clouded your eyes and turned your vision blurry until his face was unrecognizable.
The first time you see Bucky Barnes
without his shirt, you almost drop the steaming mug of coffee you’re bringing
into the lab. Tony has him sitting back on an examination chair and Bucky
smiles at you before his face contorts in confusion. Your eyes are wide and you
look like the literal personification of a deer in headlights.
“Hey, Y/N, are you okay?” he asks.
You nod, gulping thickly and
adopting a nonchalant façade. You send him a smile. “Tony tinkering with your
arm? Be careful with him, Barnes.”
He chuckles as Tony directs a glare
at you before he looks down at your feet.
“Did you just drop half of your
coffee on my pristine floors?” Tony asks, absolutely scandalized.
Because of this addition on the post by @tinkdw I felt compelled to write a short… thingy. :P
Over You (1264 words)
When Cas comes back as a human, he has nightmares. Dean doesn’t
notice it at first; the bunker is huge and the walls are mostly sound
proof and Cas – well, Cas always looks tired.
And Cas does his best to never let it on that he dreams, every
night, of all the people he killed, all the mistakes he made, all the
knowledge he has lost because his human mind can’t comprehend it
anymore. Some days he wakes up screaming, others crying – often
both. But he never talks about it because, well, if he’s learned
one thing, then this: Winchesters don’t talk about their feelings.
And he’s a Winchester now, at least this much has Dean made clear.
Dean notices when they’re on a case in Iowa, sharing the motel
room because Sam got the short straw and has to observe a haunted
house they’ve theoretically cleared but – better safe than sorry.
It’s almost 2am and Dean’s not even remotely tired so he’s just
idling around when a soft whimper makes him perk up.
It grows louder. At first it’s barely noticeable but after a
while the whimper turns into groans (and not the sexy kind either),
then small cries and Dean can hear Cas’ breath hitching before he
lets out a shout. Dean’s up before he knows what he’s doing,
standing at Cas’ bed. He’s sweaty and his face is distorted into
a grimace; without thinking, Dean grabs Cas’ shoulder and shakes
Cas sits up almost immediately. “I didn’t -” he stutters. “I
didn’t want -”
“Hey, it’s okay,” Dean says softly. “It was a dream.”
He’s surprised by the gentleness in his voice and swallows heavily;
he shouldn’t turn this into a chick flick moment.
“Dean.” Cas recognizes him and immediately recoils; Dean’s
hand is falling from Cas’ shoulder. “I’m sorry.” He sounds
tired. “I – had a bad dream.”
“Yeah, I noticed,” Dean answers.
“I’m sorry,” Cas repeats. “I didn’t want to disturb you.
I can go sleep in Sam’s room if you want.”
Dean shakes his head without even thinking about it. “Dude, no,”
he says forcefully. “That’s not a problem. I’m used to it. Sam
had them all the time. Me… me too.”
“I – I may have had them a lot,” Cas admits. “In the last
weeks. But I didn’t want to disturb you. And it’s not a problem,
really. Don’t feel pressured into doing… something.”
“I’m not. Come on, let’s try to go back to sleep, okay? I’ll
sit here a bit. Watch over you.” He points at the end of the bed.
Cas tilts his head curiously. “You always said I shouldn’t do
this,” he says.
That makes Dean blush. “Well, that was – different,” he
explains. He doesn’t exactly know how, but it - well it was. Most
definitely. “You deserve it,” he adds as an afterthought.
Maybe it’s because Cas is too tired to argue or because he
actually believes what Dean has said, but he agrees and lets himself
fall to sleep shortly after. And it seems to help, very well actually
– no nightmare in sight. Dean doesn’t fall asleep that night but
that’s okay - he can sleep in the Impala, let Sam drive. He’s
always happy when he can.
After that, it becomes a habit. Of course, because Cas is Cas, he
at first puts up a fight – but after the third night in a row where
he needed more caffeine than humanly possible to even held his head
up he realized that this is his best option.
So Dean stops sleeping in his room, instead watching over Cas
every night. He doesn’t mention it to Sam because – it’s no big
deal anyway, and it’s just until Cas stops having these dreams. He
sets up a comfy chair next to Cas’ bed and it works. When Cas has a
nightmare, he wakes him up, they go back to sleep.
No need to talk about it. Not that they don’t talk – actually
they do talk a lot, sometimes for hours at a time. About everything,
being human, their last cases, philosophical questions; sometimes Cas
tries to lure him into a conversation about mathematical equations
because he ‘doesn’t want his skills to get rusty’ but Dean
shuts that down pretty quickly.
They do this for a week until Dean’s back and neck starts to
hurt. He doesn’t say anything because he has enjoyed their nights
together so much that he fears saying anything will threaten whatever
fragile thing they have build together but Cas, of course, notices it
When Dean groans and massages his neck as he sinks into the chair,
Cas sighs and pointedly looks at his bed. “My bed is pretty big,
you know,” he says.
“Um,” Dean says. “Okay?”
“It’s just – I see that you’re hurting. And I feel bad.
Because I – I feel like my happiness comes at your expense. I don’t
- I don’t want to be a burden.”
“You’re not, Cas. I’m just old and cranky and
shouldn’t be doing this stuff anymore. But if I can handle a
wendigo I can handle a fucking chair.”
“Well, you don’t have to.”
They don’t talk about it for that evening but when it’s 2AM
and Dean wakes up with the worst crick in his neck that he has ever
experienced, Cas wakes up and holds up his blanket as an invitation.
“Come on,” he says and it’s not a plea, it’s not a
suggestion, it’s an order.
So, of course, Dean obeys. He’s shaking and sweating at the
prospect of sharing a bed with Cas, but he obeys. It doesn’t
mean anything, he thinks. Cas is Cas. He just wants to be nice to me.
It doesn’t mean anything. He doesn’t sleep that night.
The next night, he’s in bed with Cas from the beginning. He
almost doesn’t dare to move but he’s tired, so tired,
and when he falls asleep he finds himself drifting closer to Cas;
almost but not quite touching. They don’t talk about it afterwards.
The third night it all goes down. Of course he’s lying in Cas’
bed and of course he’s trying to keep his hands to himself but
after talking for three hours and Cas’ eyes falling shut every few
seconds now he just can’t help himself; he raises his hand and
brushes a few stray hairs from Cas’ face.
When Cas opens his eyes almost immediately, he stills. “Sorry,”
he says and puts his hand back, expecting – whatever, a shout, a
‘what the fuck are you doing you pervert’, a ‘leave my bed and
don’t come back’.
Certainly not this. Cas takes Dean’s hand, putting it in his
hair again. “It’s okay,” he says quietly. Hesitantly, Dean
starts to caress Cas’ hair, watching with fascination when Cas
shuffles closer, burying his nose in Dean’s neck. Far too soon his
breath starts to even and he falls asleep completely; he doesn’t
have any nightmares that night.
There’s no going back from this, and somehow Dean doesn’t want
to. Soft touches turn into warm embraces turn into slow kisses turn
into eager movements. He doesn’t look back; they don’t talk about
it because, well, there’s nothing to talk about.
Except one thing, a few weeks later. “You know,” Cas
starts quietly when Dean is running his fingers through his hair
again. “I vowed to always watch over you,” he continues. “And then
you said you would do the same.” There’s a short pause, then,
very quiet, almost like an exhale. “Thank you.”
Cas doesn’t have nightmares again, but they still share a bed.
