and i need more of them in my life

sweet-but-mostly-sour  asked:

Cheryl Blossom is wonderful! And how do you feel about her maybe being bisexual (I think the actress wants her to be)? And do you ship her with someone?

I ship Cheryl with SO many characters because she works so well with all of them
Cheronica is beautiful and has had so many great emotional moments
I love archeryl, a very aesthetically pleasing ship and with two characters with hearts of gold
Cherosie is a classic, I just wish they had more moments
And of course Chebrina. The iconic Cheryl x Sabrina the teenage witch. But, it isn’t even a canon character and I already ship it too hard.
(I wrote a fanfic oops)

Things I need more of in my life: Midwestern gothic/horror stories.

  • Barns with no doors that almost seem to breathe, their walls bending inward and outward every few seconds.
  • That one diner at the edge of town where the people you see through the windows on the outside are not the same as the ones inside.
  • That late night train that travels slowly across the tracks, steam leaking out of the closed doors of the cars. If you listen closely you can hear skittering inside them.
  • In the park there is a circle of dead grass right behind the swings and if you get close enough you can hear it whispering.
  • Fields of corn that rustle in the wind and anyone foolish enough to wander into them are never heard from again. Sometimes the farmers will find their shoes during the harvest.
  • Back roads that don’t make geographical sense. Sometimes you just get stuck in a curve for an hour only to find yourself a mile away from the nearest town afterwards.
  • Passing the same farm house five times in a row.
  • Never listen to the crows. Their secrets will alter you in terrible ways.
  • The scarecrows are always wearing new clothes whenever you see them, even when you take your eyes off them for only a moment.
  • Don’t ever mention the man who waves to you on your way to work every morning. Don’t mention that he’s been dead for ten years.
  • Never buy flowers from the flower shop on Main Street. You know the one: the doors are always open, even in winter, and you can smell the sweet scent of roses mixed with something rotting.

Bakugou for the character ask!

Yay thank you for the ask!

general opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life
hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would bang
hogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuff
best quality: He is very self motivated, which motivates his classmates.
worst quality: He’s… an asshole
ship them with: Nobody so far
brotp them with: Kirishima
needs to stay away from: Izuku. Leave my green baby alone to grow and flourish.
misc. thoughts: He’s improved a lot from the start, and I’m interested to learn more about how he works, exactly. I was getting uncomfortable with how Naruto/Sasuke he and Izuku were–the extremely unhealthy idolization of someone that’s abusive. But more recently in the manga that has cooled off with Izuku’s development, so I was happy with that. Hopefully he’ll learn more throughout the story how to chill tf out. XD Of course, we all can’t help but love his little rage fests.

Our lord and savior Serena Campbell :)

general opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | [ actual love of my life ]

hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | [ 10/10 would bang ]
hogwarts house: gryffindor | [ slytherin ] | ravenclaw | hufflepuff (definitely has some ravenclaw in her, but she really is the walking definition of a slytherin bc she strives to be the best, power hungry af, manipulative, resourceful (remember how she spent so long trying to get the hospital running more efficiently??), need i go on??)
best quality: honey how much time do we have? she’s super smart, wonderful at her job, and so so full of love that it’s unreal and it spills out of her in all directions and i love my sweet emotional wife SO MUCH
worst quality: i mean, sometimes her emotions do get the better of her (bless), but i’d probably go with her problem with taking on so much shit and thinking that she deserves it– like, the stuff just before she breaks it off with edward again, settling for angus who doesn’t give her what she needs, that’s without even going near all the abuse she got from adrienne and just internalised and groomed herself into believing that it was okay bc she didn’t want anyone else’s help. poor bean. someone pls save her
ship them with: bernie, obviously– also colette sheward, fleur fanshawe, buttons (!!!), basically any woman to ever exist, kate stewart, and (reluctantly) michael spence
brotp them with: ric griffin, raf di lucca, fletch, essie harrison (altho i lowkey ship it), lowkey henrik hanssen
needs to stay away from: death, unhappiness, mediocre men
misc. thoughts: serena !! campbell !! deserves !! so !! much !! honestly i cannot see how anyone would think that she is less than perfect bc she is just one of the most important and interesting and wonderful characters of all time i just want to lay down and cry

[send me a character]

hogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuff

ship them with: jade!!! also karkat, john, terezi, aradia, and some other peeps

brotp them with: jasprose

needs to stay away from: transphobes

misc. thoughts: this is more petty than anything but do people realize theres more to nepeta than just the :3 face. you can draw davepeta looking more feminine and not just like dave with a cat face its ok

I miss your JonxSansa fics...I hope you continue them and write more~!! But also I hope life is treating you well!!!

Thank you for the well wishes! I’m definitely spending a lot more time focusing on myself these days so I’m a little less active on here and other social platforms, but the inspiration for my J/S fics is still there! I just need to get around to actually writing them :)

But I’m like this with all ships I still adore (leaving long gaps between updates/new works), so I’ll definitely try and have something up soon. (Probably an update on Somewhere in the Winter Woods because it’s only got a couple of chapters left and I had a pretty nice dream about it the other night, lol) so… :)

Did you ever have a genuine psychic/medium experience?

Although many readings can be attributed to cold readings or sheer coincidence sometimes it’s uncanny how accurate psychics/mediums can be. Here’s a collection of supposedly genuine experiences from threads. If you have an experience feel free to tag me @sixpenceee!

I never believe in palm /card readings. I don’t actually believe in it nowadays. BUT when I was in 9th grade, my friend took me with her to a fortune teller so she can have her future read. Surprisingly she mentioned about her love dilemma, a blonde guy and dark haired guy. She was completely convinced about her reading powers while I was meh… We’re teenagers, it’s natural we’ll find ourselves in situations like this. And then she predicted the scores she’ll get at the exams when you finish high school (in our country there are some mandatory subjects for the exams, thus multiple numbers) she guessed that right. If I think really hard about probabilities and stuff I can find a logic explanation to that as well.

About 5 years ago I saw a psychic that a family friend had told me was the real deal. I went in skeptical and came out a believer.

She used tarot cards and knew things that could have been lucky guesses, like that I had just bought a house and was renovating it, but she also knew specific things that no one else could have known.

The most amazing part of the whole thing was that she knew that I had some complications with my hormones and had a surgery in the past that would make getting pregnant very difficult, but she told me Despite all this, I would have a baby later in life. Toward the end of the reading she hands me the tarot cards and tells me to shuffle them. Then tells me to ask three questions in my mind one at a time. I decided to really test her authenticity so the first question I decided to ask was am I going to have children, and halfway through laying the five cards down, she stops and looks at me and scolds me saying “I already told you that you were going to have one child!” hah this is when I knew.

This was before I was born. My mom had a neighbor who was a grandpa who could see the future. He told my mom that my sister would be really sick when she became a preteen and not to worry because she’d be okay. When my sister was a preteen she was diagnosed with cancer and after a year and a half she was perfectly fine. My mom was pregnant with me when she met him again and he told her that I would be a c-section baby. My mom already knew this and said she had scheduled the c-section already since I was breach but he was adamant that she would have me on a certain day and that the c-section wouldn’t go on the planned day. I was born on the exact day he predicted.

Nothing too crazy but the fact that he knew that my sister would be sick and would be okay is crazy to me. He also didn’t want any money and approached my mom and asked if he could do a reading for her.

Reposting my own arts, cause I’m back in this ship, and its so bad dude. I’m telling you, all I think about is them, then I saw this, the only art I save from all of my drawings of them. But hereee loook at it this two cuties again.

JUST IN: Pres. Obama releases statement on new Senate health care bill:

“Our politics are divided. They have been for a long time. And while I know that division makes it difficult to listen to Americans with whom we disagree, that’s what we need to do today.

I recognize that repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act has become a core tenet of the Republican Party. Still, I hope that our Senators, many of whom I know well, step back and measure what’s really at stake, and consider that the rationale for action, on health care or any other issue, must be something more than simply undoing something that Democrats did.

We didn’t fight for the Affordable Care Act for more than a year in the public square for any personal or political gain – we fought for it because we knew it would save lives, prevent financial misery, and ultimately set this country we love on a better, healthier course.

Nor did we fight for it alone. Thousands upon thousands of Americans, including Republicans, threw themselves into that collective effort, not for political reasons, but for intensely personal ones – a sick child, a parent lost to cancer, the memory of medical bills that threatened to derail their dreams.

And you made a difference. For the first time, more than ninety percent of Americans know the security of health insurance. Health care costs, while still rising, have been rising at the slowest pace in fifty years. Women can’t be charged more for their insurance, young adults can stay on their parents’ plan until they turn 26, contraceptive care and preventive care are now free. Paying more, or being denied insurance altogether due to a preexisting condition – we made that a thing of the past.

We did these things together. So many of you made that change possible.

At the same time, I was careful to say again and again that while the Affordable Care Act represented a significant step forward for America, it was not perfect, nor could it be the end of our efforts – and that if Republicans could put together a plan that is demonstrably better than the improvements we made to our health care system, that covers as many people at less cost, I would gladly and publicly support it.

That remains true. So I still hope that there are enough Republicans in Congress who remember that public service is not about sport or notching a political win, that there’s a reason we all chose to serve in the first place, and that hopefully, it’s to make people’s lives better, not worse.

But right now, after eight years, the legislation rushed through the House and the Senate without public hearings or debate would do the opposite. It would raise costs, reduce coverage, roll back protections, and ruin Medicaid as we know it. That’s not my opinion, but rather the conclusion of all objective analyses, from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, which found that 23 million Americans would lose insurance, to America’s doctors, nurses, and hospitals on the front lines of our health care system.

The Senate bill, unveiled today, is not a health care bill. It’s a massive transfer of wealth from middle-class and poor families to the richest people in America. It hands enormous tax cuts to the rich and to the drug and insurance industries, paid for by cutting health care for everybody else. Those with private insurance will experience higher premiums and higher deductibles, with lower tax credits to help working families cover the costs, even as their plans might no longer cover pregnancy, mental health care, or expensive prescriptions. Discrimination based on pre-existing conditions could become the norm again. Millions of families will lose coverage entirely.

Simply put, if there’s a chance you might get sick, get old, or start a family – this bill will do you harm. And small tweaks over the course of the next couple weeks, under the guise of making these bills easier to stomach, cannot change the fundamental meanness at the core of this legislation.

I hope our Senators ask themselves – what will happen to the Americans grappling with opioid addiction who suddenly lose their coverage? What will happen to pregnant mothers, children with disabilities, poor adults and seniors who need long-term care once they can no longer count on Medicaid? What will happen if you have a medical emergency when insurance companies are once again allowed to exclude the benefits you need, send you unlimited bills, or set unaffordable deductibles? What impossible choices will working parents be forced to make if their child’s cancer treatment costs them more than their life savings?

To put the American people through that pain – while giving billionaires and corporations a massive tax cut in return – that’s tough to fathom. But it’s what’s at stake right now. So it remains my fervent hope that we step back and try to deliver on what the American people need.

That might take some time and compromise between Democrats and Republicans. But I believe that’s what people want to see. I believe it would demonstrate the kind of leadership that appeals to Americans across party lines. And I believe that it’s possible – if you are willing to make a difference again. If you’re willing to call your members of Congress. If you are willing to visit their offices. If you are willing to speak out, let them and the country know, in very real terms, what this means for you and your family.

After all, this debate has always been about something bigger than politics. It’s about the character of our country – who we are, and who we aspire to be. And that’s always worth fighting for.”
