Interviewer: What’s it like being married to Ginny Weasley?

Harry: One time, I asked her if she wanted to make dinner after we had an argument.

Harry: The waffle was still frozen.

i won’t tolerate any kind of hate towards anyone on this blog. especially if you’re going to come on anon to criticise other people or to tell me who i can or can’t be friends with?? seriously, there’s no way i’m publishing the ask i’ve received earlier today or any hateful comments directed to any of the people i love, so i’m sorry boo, go take your negativity and stupid threats somewhere else. i’m not going to spread anything but positivity on this blog, and this is the last thing i’ll say about it; so if you’re going to send hate, especially about other people, know it won’t be published. if you have any problem with me or anyone, there’s this thing called private messages and being respectful ☀️💕

no offense but some people hating things i love doesn’t ruin anything for me and i certainly don’t spend my time reading their anti tags and blogs lmao

and consider this: it’s healthy to recognize things you love have flaws.

Sorry for the late reply! I've read yours and I'm just a little confused so... are you saying that characters like silver should not exist because they are bad examples for the audience (or the readers?)

No - I’m not saying that at all. Silver is a brilliant character, actually. He’s morally ambiguous shading into villainous the longer the show goes on. He goes through one hell of a journey to become the character from a book many of us read as children, and he’s actually an excellent example of a character being relatable or sympathetic - but absolutely, completely not right. The phrase I’m looking for is “the road to hell is paved with good intentions,” and I think that somewhere in a book of phrases, there should probably be a picture of Silver’s face next to that phrase. He’s a great character - I’m saying that as a fandom there’s a tendency to paint a character as one thing in s1 and then refuse to allow that character to grow and change, yes, even for the worse, as far as our portrayal of him outside the original medium he came from. S1 Silver was stumbling his way through life, getting into messes and getting out again with a grin and a few glib words and maybe a murder or two, but was certainly not a monster or a villain. S4 Silver has moved on apace into being a genuinely scary, certainly manipulative individual who is very short-sighted when it comes to the difference between his needs and wants as regards other people and what those other people have envisioned for their lives and why those things are important to them. Silver’s not a bad character by any means, but our reaction to him and understanding of him as a fandom has proven to be problematic, to say the least in that it’s static and actually sometimes harmful to people who see clearly what he became and have quite rightly said we’re not fond of him as a result.

New Therapist-Endorsed Plan™: defer my scholarship for a semester, get a job, and take only two classes, paying for them with money from the job (my school isn’t that expensive, so this is very feasible). It’ll be good because 1) my mental health improves dramatically when I feel that I’m doing something useful, 2) I won’t be overwhelmed with coursework, and 3) I’ll have more money and therefore won’t have to worry about that for a while.

She didn’t endorse plan B, go to Dallas and become a construction worker, or plan F, go to alaska and patrol for polar bears. She also said that “run away and become a nun” and “marry a Catholic with a job and homeschool their kids” aren’t allowed to rise higher than plan J until I feel like I occasionally make decisions that aren’t awful, because I’m probably not in a good place to make lifelong commitments if I’m making them to get out of retaking UCIE.

Anyway, I feel really relieved at the thought of working somewhere and only taking two classes, so I’m glad the decision has been made now.

How do you draw a closed snoot? Amd also how do you draw an open snoot from the front?

I draw closed snoots pretty much the same way as opened ones, as illustrated in this one tutorial i did a bit ago! Same goes for drawing opened mouths from the front.

for closed muzzles, I tend to do placement lines for where the base of the muzzle connects to the face (and also as a marker for where the bottom of the eyes are gonna go!) and a line down the center of the muzzle to help me place the nose and make the upper lip indent shape! This is something I honestly don’t do too much bc I mostly forget but it helps SO MUCH

end result from using said guidelines hfhfh

as for opened snoots, here’s a lil thing using the same formula as my first tutorial;

Firstly, I start out roughing out where I want everything to go! The purple line in the right image helps me place the top corners of the mouth, where i’ll be dragging the lines for the sides of the mouth in a sec. This is a good time to map out how you want your expression to go, since the corner of the mouth I find makes it easier to connect everything else as you’re going along.

After you get that sorted, drag the lines (blue lines) down from the corners (it’s perfectly fine if the lines don’t match up with the corners, it doesn’t have to be exact!), which are the rest of the mouth. Now is a good time to go in and tighten up/stretch the mouth shape to however it’ll benefit your character/style/expression. My sona has pretty round shapes, so I keep things rounded for her most of the time. (unless i’m exaggerating her expression, then things tend to get a little bit sharp and asymmetrical)

Annnnnnnd then you go in and start adding details! Teeth, tongue, etc. You can see I kinda shortened the lower jaw shape lines a bit after everything since I noticed the mouth was a bit too wide/sliding to the right.. Just so it aligns with the top part of the jaw a little easier!! this is pretty much how I do all my mouth/muzzle stuff, so I hope it helps a bit!
