Dear Isak. Now I’m sitting in the place we met for the first time and thinking about you. Soon it’s going to be 21.21 o’clock. I want to say a thousand things to you. Sorry for scaring you. Sorry for hurting you. Sorry for not telling you I’m bipolar. I was scared of losing you. I’d forgotten it’s not possible to lose someone, everyone’s alone anyway. Another place in the universe we’re together for all eternity, remember that. Love you. Even.

Ok so I've seen some Kataang shippers admit that Kataang was forced and one sided, but they also say that they see no possible way of Zutara happening either at the end of 3 Books, I disagree with them of course I still think there is enough moments b/w the two where they could've been made the endgame couple even if Ehasz didn't get do his Book 4, plus even if they weren't end game at the end of Book 3 they were gonna be together by Book 4 if Ehasz was able to do it, what are your thoughts?

It will always be my opinion that Book 3 held more natural zutara development than kataang development.

Outside of the Headband, I cannot think of a single episode in which Katara shows feelings towards Aang that don’t breach the motherly realm. And, from other criticisms, we know that the Headband was a last minute episode thrown in to make kataang seem less forced in the finale, and it replaced an episode giving us further backstory for Aang.

Additionally, the dialogue between Katara and Aang, outside of the Headband, takes a downward spiral. [All screenshots by @araeph; if you click the link, it will take you to the better, original images ]

Aang becomes increasingly belligerent as she tries to help him:

He becomes more and more expectant of her returned feelings:

And, he shouts at her before vanishing in the face of his responsibilities, when she was simply trying to help him and vouch for him:

Believe it or not, this screenshot is their last conversation before the finale!

This spiral is even worse (and abusive) when you include the dialogue and behavior from Love Is A Battlefield, a comic set during their time at the Western Air Temple, after Zuko has arrived. [Love is a Battlefield starts at page 190 if you want to see more than my bits and pieces below.]

Do you see that? He explodes on her because she doesn’t want to address the kiss or her feelings for him… and then pouts away and says he’s the one who should be scared of getting burned. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Aang is the boyfriend who doesn’t hit you…. he hits the wall and smashes plates to show you how bad it will hurt if he does hit you.

So, yes, you and the few kataang shippers are right… this relationship was extremely forced, one-sided, and down-right unhealthy by the end of Book 3.

I disagree with you, however, that making zutara as obvious a couple as kataang in the book 3 finale wouldn’t have been forced or out of left field.

They did have a lot of cute, shippy moments:

And some major emotional development together:

However, in total, we saw Zuko and Katara together as friends for only a handful of episodes. In order for Zutara to not seem forced at the end of the series, we needed one of three things:

1) Zuko joining Team Avatar earlier, giving us more bonding between Zuko and Katara, more conversations, and more subtle moments like those pictured above and in this post I did. A finale kiss between them would’ve seemed reasonable if we’d had an entire season of Zuko and Katara together.

2) Book Four, like Ehasz wanted. Book Three could’ve ended with everyone single, then picked up in the next season with Zuko and Katara spending time together outside of a war-torn environment.

3) If Book Three had to be the end: a moment where Katara expresses with finality that she is not interested in a romantic relationship with Aang… followed by a moment, framed very similarly to the kataang finale kiss, in which Katara joins Zuko on the patio of the Jasmine Dragon, and says a lot has changed. He agrees with her, they briefly touch hands, which morphs into a hug, and the scene fades out.

For me, any of these possibilities would’ve made zutara a natural endgame, whether it was confirmed in Book 3, or post finale with comics/Book 4.

Even though she was only in the opening scene of the Season 2 finale of Legends of Tomorrow, Felicity blew me away. She blows me away on a regular Wednesday, that’s true, but this one just went above and beyond anything they have ever done with her so far.

And no, this is not about Felicity being in a mask or having a costume or fighting with other vigilantes. Not in the least. In fact, I personally, hold the firm and unyielding belief that there is nothing more badass than people who fight injustice in their own identity - no code names, no masks, no leather (and more often than not - no fists). Felicity Smoak has been that badass since season 1.

The reason I’m so amazed is that with this new reality the LoT writers had the freedom to make and shape Felicity Smoak into just about anyone without having to justify their actions beyond saying “it’s an alternate reality, jeez!”.
Yet they didn’t take that opportunity. They kept Felicity Smoak as is - who she is at her core and in her heart - a hero. An indisputably fierce, brave and strong woman.

Yet they didn’t make her into some Superwoman who can’t be defeated. Quite the opposite, really (spoilers). But I have no problem with this as well (I thought I might have a lot of problems with Sara being the one to kill her, but I don’t. Because what we saw in the LoT finale was not Sara). They made Felicity and her abilities feel real. And there are very few (perhaps none) people in the DCTV verse as it is today that could stand a chance against Sara Lance, DCTV’s best fighter, and Amaya Jiwe and her ability to adopt the powers and qualities of any animal via her magical amulet. So naturally, Felicity couldn’t too.

It helped solidify the stakes at hand. Felicity is the last hero left to stand up for Star City. Everyone else is gone. And she is outnumbered, outgunned, outmatched and yet she keeps fighting. She’s doing the right thing. She’s putting one foot in front of the other and honouring her fallen teammates, friends, and family. The appearance might be different than the Felicity we know and love but the spirit is there. It’s there and it’s shining through.

To make her even more amazing though, Felicity Smoak sustained multiple injuries in the span of these 3 minutes. She landed badly and possibly twisted (if not broke) her right ankle, she was hit by both Amaya and Sara multiple times. She was thrown down a long, metal staircase and crashed into the ground at the end of it, sustaining possibly a concussion and at the very least cracked ribs and some damage to her spine. And if the staircase fall didn’t give her a concussion then the force Amaya hit her with her gun surely did.

She’s alone. There’s no back up coming. She’s bruised and twisted and quite possibly in a lot of pain. She’s also smart. She knows the odds don’t look good for her. She knows she will quite possibly die. But she doesn’t let all of that break her for even a second. Even when she can’t fight physically she keeps doing so with her words, telling Darhk, Amaya and Sara where they can shove it.

She died a death that fit her - fighting for her home and for what she believes in like the true hero that she is.

- Dan literally wearing a trash bag that said ‘Phil Trash #1’ nbd
- and let’s not forget the “dads of the year” award
- Dan dragging Phil for his ‘brrrmany’ tweet lmao (he had it coming to be fair)

  • Me, an INTJ: these INTJ stereotypes are terrible. They make me look like the coldest person on earth.
  • Also Me: No fuck that, I'm not working with you. I'm doing this work on my own. It's less trouble. I don't deal with people. Don't get near me. Do you even know what personal space is? I'm not glaring at you this is my normal look. No I'm not mad. Your idea is terrible. You didn't even plan that ahead did you? Oh you did? Then you didn't rethink it over to think of the possible chances of failure. I swear I--

I had the most amazing weekend of my life, meeting Jemma was the most beautiful gift I could have given myself.
Even better knowing that Jemma actually genuinely liked me and made sure to let me know by being so adorable to me.
Thank you @nervouspearl and @room-2o3 for making me do this trip.

Side note; I’m now Lady Marie-Pier
You wanna know why? Because Jemma got really excited when I decided I would ask her a question at the panel and at some point got annoyed when the host was “ignoring” me and started pointing at me and said “there’s a lady at the front”, and continued looking at me and pointing at me for a bit until the host said “I saw you” and when it was my turn, last freaking question, she just turned to me with the brightest smile and leaned forward making sure she’d focus on whatever was going to come out of my mouth! (honestly I lost my train of thought when she did that and had trouble remembering english for a second)

I will try to make a more detailed post at some point, including photos and talking about the clearly genuine smile Jemma gave me when she recognized me (and @nervouspearl) at the station and made sure to wave back when I waved at her.

I love her so much!

okay forgive me in advance for the gross factor of this post but I just saw a video of the ITH tour cast and their Benny and Nina are just… passionate…

Like you see CJack and Mandy kissing during the fireworks and it’s just…

Aww they’re so in love and they made sweet gentle love all night holding hands and talking about baby names for their future many kids and he gave her flowers.

Then there’s Arielle Jacobs and Rogelio Douglas Jr and it’s, erm, different.
