so i dont know if anybody knows this but steve has a very popular ship too but in his fandom world lol its with one of his best friends afro jack (who is my husband and also a very famous dj) and they / the fans call it “afroki”, i mean its nowhere near larry level but its a ship and the fans love it, its funny how sometimes it feels like only your fandom does things until you see other fans be extra as you are like, “same.”

Gravity Falls Drabble

This kinda came about because @saisai-chan mentioned how Ford’s hair has an upward floof to it post-portal. @howtotrainyournana and I thought the idea was hilarious and decided to take it a step further…and I kinda wrote a funny little thing for kicks. It’s based off the idea that Ford’s hair gets even more floofy when he’s startled…so what would it look like if he’s especially jumpy?

A Little Extra Floof

The first time that Stan saw his brother’s hair explode was after Weirdmageddon.

It had been a bit of a restless night for the both of them, what with the nightmares that seemed to plague them both. At least the sea had been calm, so they were both able to get at least a little sleep regardless of what triangle-themed death night terrors snuck in during the night.

Stan awoke from his after his brother had already stepped out. A hand stumbled for his glasses and he squinted at the clock that was hanging on the wall.

“Can’t these things wake me up at six instead of goddam four in the morning?” Stan scowled as he stumbled out of his bunk, feeling around for a coat or something that he could wear over his undergarments. Eventually, he managed to find a black trench coat that Ford had insisted on getting him because of the colder weather, and he threw it on before making his way out onto the deck.

Ford was standing near the bow of the ship, next to the wheel. Stan noticed that the sun was peeking over the horizon and cursed it for being an early riser before heading over to where Ford was standing. Something about the calm morning and the cold, slick deck caused Stan to step lightly and grit his teeth a bit, wishing he’d actually thought of pulling on some slippers or something.

“Hey, Sixer,” Stan called over. “What was –“

Stan stopped short, blinking at his brother as Ford turned sharply to look at him with wide eyes that almost made him look more like a startled animal.

Ford blinked a couple times, then relaxed his shoulders as he let out a sigh of relief. “Stanley, you startled me.”

Stan blinked, his eyes moving up to Ford’s hair. He raised an eyebrow. “Yeah, I can tell.”

Ford raised an eyebrow at his twin’s statement, then noticed where Stan’s eyes were looking. Instantly, his arms were up over his head, desperately trying to push down the gray afro that his hair had suddenly turned into.

A deep scowl formed on Ford’s face as a low growl slipped out of his throat. “I thought I had this under control.”

“Well, clearly you don’t.” An amused grin was starting to creep across Stan’s face. “What, did you get mixed with a cat or something?”

Stanley.” Ford’s voice came out as a hiss, which only made Stan’s grin widen. “Stop it. Let’s go back inside before you get frostbite.”

Stan’s grin didn’t leave his face as he and Ford went back inside the cabin and warmed themselves up and set about to making breakfast. Ford was still attempting to push down his hair, and it finally cooperated when he brandished his brush.

“So, what’s the story with that?” Stan nodded to Ford’s head as Ford sat down and started eating his breakfast. “I don’t remember you being able to do that before.”

Ford paused, a piece of pancake nearly in his mouth. He carefully put it back on his plate and sighed irritably. “It’s something that developed during my time on the other side of the portal. A ‘danger sense,’ I suppose you could say.”

“Danger sense, huh? Is that why your hair was more…oh, what’s the word Mabel used – floofy than it was?”

Ford sighed again. “Yes, I suppose you could say that. I had thought that I could keep it under control, but it seems that I’m in the wrong on that.” He ran a hand through his hair, trying to push it down into a hairstyle that resembled what it had been thirty-some years ago, but it simply bounced back up. “Hopefully, it won’t cause us to gain any unwanted attention in the future.”

“With all the danger we’re probably going to get into, Poindexter?” Stan gained a wide grin and chuckled darkly. “Might as well use you as a danger beacon on this ship or something.”

“What?” Stan shrugged. “It was just a suggestion.”

“Which we will not be taking.” Ford shot Stan a glare, then finished his breakfast quickly. “And I would appreciate it if you didn’t sneak up on me like that again.”

Unfortunately, Ford’s hair wasn’t planning on cooperating, because the next time that they were ambushed by some horrid sea monster (seriously, what was up with all the kraken or whatever they were attracting?), his hair promptly exploded again.

Stan made sure that he had the camera on him so that he could send a picture of Ford’s sudden afro-attack back to Mabel. She would definitely get a kick out of this.

Into The Deep End - Chapter 37

Sasha has always tried to play it safe, to keep her life as simple and risk-free as possible. Things change, however, when she garners the interest of a handsome, charming, younger man from a completely different world than hers. As she starts to question her own rules, is she ready to take the biggest chance of them all? Will she let herself take that dive? Roman Reigns/OC.

Opening his front door, Joe was greeted with a bouncing Mia, her smile as big as her afro.

“Hi Joe!”

“Hey little lady,” he said cheerfully, “Where have you been? Mama’s been hiding you away, huh?”

Sasha laughed at the statement as T.K. gave Joe a quick fist bump before sweeping into the living room and making a beeline for the home entertainment system. It was the weekend and the kids insisted on coming to visit, their first since Joe’s injury. She watched with raised eyebrows as her daughter and her boyfriend did this little handshake thing, complete with sound effects, that she’d never seen before. “When the hell did you come up with that?”

“A long time ago, Mama,” Mia beamed. “It’s top secret.”

“Yeah, for club members only. And you’re not allowed in our little club,” Joe winked.

“Oh, I'ma club you right now,” Sasha took a playful swing at him, laughing when he ducked and retreated into the kitchen. “Where’s your mom at?” she asked Joe, following him. “You said she took you to your appointment.”

Top Ten Male Characters Summer 2015

10. Okuma Tanukichi (Shimoneta) Okuma had some shining moments in this anime. He was kind of a bad ass at moments and I am glad he embraced his routes…his dirty joke telling routes haha.

9. Yuu Otasaka (Charlotte) Man what a ride for Yuu, he went from being super popular character using his eyes just to cheat on tests and pick up chicks to the strongest in the universe. Well not in the universe but his powers were better then we thought. I liked Yuu a lot, granted his character changed throughout the series but that’s what made him seem more relate-able, especially dealing with the death of his sister.

8. Takeshi “Bomber” Motoba (Himouto Umaru-chan) Bomber, jeeze what can you say, this dude made me laugh constantly. When he dropped that “I love you” to Taihei I lost it. He also had moments with Kirie and Umaru which were pretty funny. I liked his afro too.

7. Hans Humpty (Rokka no Yuusha) I never thought Hans could be the seventh, it seemed too obvious. He was kind of a bastard when we first met him, but damn he turned into one hell of a bro. His team up with Adlet during the fight with Chamot was awesome.

6. Shuu Sakurada (Joukamachi no Dandelion) The King, again I didn’t expect that to happen and it was surprising. Shuu though is a really good brother and I can relate to him.

5. Kimihito Kurusu (Monster Musume no iru Nichijou) Should be higher up and would have been if it was a different season. Granted Kimihito didn’t choose a wife I like that he is not biased towards any Monster Girls or Males. Just a good guy overall and kind of a bad ass at points.

4. Swallow Cratsvalley (Chaos Dragon) Swallow damn what a past and present this dude deals with. His curse sucks but he also has that Black dragon with him. What won me over was his fight with Lou and how he was not fazed by Ulrica’s death.

3. Adlet Mayer (Rokka no Yuusha) The Strongest Man in the World, I love Adlet, his character and his fighting style is just the best. He uses dirty tricks but they’re just resources. No Magic or anything like that just pure strength, and skill. I am praying for a season two.

2. Taihei “Onii-chan” Doma (Himouto Umaru-chan) Definitely the most relate-able male character this season. Especially for those who have annoying but cute sisters. Taihei made me laugh at points but I could see myself in him which is why he is so high on the list.

1. Itami Youji (Gate: Jietai Kanochi nite Kaku Tatakaeri) A soldier who is also an Otaku. What a fantastic combination! His skills are very impressive as a high ranking soldier…but he still has time to check on his anime. We know he’s only beyond the gate for one reason…to find those ladies haha. Hell who could blame him with women like Rory, Lelei, and Tuka
