I thought of something, of Bucky being physically 10 or so years older than Steve because of all the time that he was taken out of cryo and the fact they didn't start freezing him for a few years. So Bucky has some silver in his hair. Meanwhile Steve still looks the way he did when he got the serum, except for his hair and that sad smile. Steve teases Bucky about his silver, calling him daddy as a joke. But the possessive face Bucky makes, Steve might just call him that more often. Moan it even.
Goodness. Imagine, Bucky woke up to Steve nestled in his arms like a kitten. Steve had his face tucked into Bucky’s chest and he’s drooling a little. He shuffled closer and made a little humming noise.
“Baby, I’m just gonna get somethin’,” Bucky said, kissing Steve’s forehead, “okay? Sweetheart, Steve?”
Steve mumbled something in his sleep and shuffled to let Bucky get up but otherwise kept his eyes closed. Bucky chuckled and got up to quickly grab something to drink, wiping his chest of Steve’s adorable drool.
On the way back from the kitchen, Bucky passed the mirror in the living room and noticed his hair. He neared and gaped, “I’m goin’ grey.”
When he returned to their bedroom, Steve was sleepily opening his eyes. He sat up and peered at Bucky with a small smile on his face.
“I’m goin’ grey,” Bucky laughed, getting into bed with Steve. He was a little older than Steve anyhow but with all the cryo, he was about ten years technically older.
“Gettin’ old daddy,” Steve giggled. He meant it as a joke. But after seeing Bucky’s eyes darken, he gulped. “You like that?”
Bucky growled and he pinned Steve to their bed, “oh baby, you got no idea.”
