- me: my type is basically a fratboy-looking slice of white bread who’s surprisingly kind-hearted & has a dazzling smile and pretty eyes
- overwatch: oh cool. this is jack morrison. he was a blond-blue-eyed all-American vet who was said to be charismatic & kind
- overwatch: but now jack is actually an old grizzled war vet with a bad case of ptsd and depression. he’s old and bitter, and also may be a war criminal because of his past mistakes. he is now a vigilante sucked of all hope and idealism he once had, and may even be an alcoholic because he cant stand himself & the mistakes he's made that led his friends and family into dangerous situations that got some of them killed or worse
- me: wow thats... fucked up
- ddadds: hold my beer
I just think it's funny how the fandom, who took sweet soft literary James Ashton completely for granted/ignored him, wants to try and say he was "out of control" in the last chapter. Like, please. He was stressed and freaking out because he thought you'd be there when you promised you would be and then you weren't and he's out of his depth with this leadership thing rn. He apologized immediately and was genuine about it. But NO, James is 'mean and a dick'. Like, gtfo my face before I smack u.
