and he is just as deserved as anyone else

Okay so like

Lucas Steele plays Anatole every night in Great Comet which means…

He plays someone completely opposite of him eight times a week

He has to get into some intense acting

He gets in a couple fights onstage

He has to kiss/flirt with maybe fifteen people in the show every time

On top of that he has to dance and that choreography is INTENSE

He also has to dance on that crazy stage without dying in the process

Speaking of that stage, he has to run up about seventy flights of stairs PER SHOW (that’s including stage and theater stairs)

ALL THE WHILE he has to sing through the ENTIRE SHOW

AND HE HAS TO HIT INSANELY HIGH NOTES, SPECIFICALLY THE C# IN PETERSBURG

In an article, someone says he has to go to PHYSICAL THERAPY because the show is so physically intense

The same article mentioned him having SURGERY because of how intense the show got

Not to mention, he’s been doing this show for YEARS

So why didn’t Lucas Steele win the Tony?

  • Chowder: Of course Bitty's going to be captain!
  • Nursey: Yeah man, I'm totally voting for him.
  • Whiskey: Doesn't he seem too soft to be captain?
  • Chowder: Whiskey, my man!! My tadpole!! If you don't vote for Bitty and he doesn't become captain, and this goes for every single one of you tiny human beings, I will make it my mission to destroy your life.
  • Chowder: Anyway who wants some leftover pie that Bitty made for us because he's perfect and deserves to be captain?

it just really puts things into perspective. like, we all love and idolise harry with every fibre of our beings, someone who’s changed so many lives—and now he’s up there with his own idol, who he feels the exact same way about as we do him. the way he looks at her hits me hard, because that’s how i look at him; like nothing else exists in that moment. this must’ve been such an earth-shattering experience for him, and he deserves it more than anyone.

“You brought me back to life. Just let me be someone who deserves it.”

Was anyone else really torn up by this quote? It really gives you a look into the mind of this character, doesn’t it? I mean, Lars is at a point where he believes he does not  deserve to live.

Like, this isn’t even one of those storylines where Steven had to make some kind of massive sacrifice or something to make it happen. The process didn’t exactly hurt or inconvenience anyone in any way, and yet he still doesn’t think he deserves to live.

Guys, this little human needs help. :(

Honestly the Orion Pax Arc of TFP is great.
Like the animators deserve a big hug for the brilliant way they handled the difference between Orion and Optimus.

They changed NOTHING of his frame or design, and yet they managed to make Orion his own character. All the changes were emotional and they captured it perfectly. With the optics alone they managed to portray how different Optimus and Orion really are and I just…

Here we have Orion

(Look at this angry nerd please someone wrap him in a protective blanket he deserved nothing of the shit that happened to him)

Now look at Optimus

Yeh idk I just really like this small thing and I haven’t seen anyone else point it out so… I’ll just see myself out

gelya-melnikova  asked:

top 5 most likely to make the japan national team :))

Yesterday we all went a little bit emotional with this national team headcanon, and I actually thought about this top 5…a lot. It’s probably one of the hardest because in our eyes most of them are really skilled enough to reach the top and be a part of the national team.

I decided to make this with characters we all know, leaving out people introduced just in the manga. I hope I can stay objective with this one, but I can’t guarantee you that…

1. Ushijima. Let’s face it, this boy is already with one foot there, since he’s the only player selected to participate in the Youth World Championship as Japan’s under 18/19 volleyball representative. It would literally surprise nobody to see him being the first one wearing the red and black jersey.

2. Oikawa. He’s the setter™ and he honestly just deserves this place more than anyone else. Also imagine for the dramatics of it all, being finally in team with Ushijima…I’d pay to see it, but at the same time I’m more than sure that they’ll manage to work really really well together. After all, among everyone else, Ushijima chose him, this is a testament that there are no other setters as good as him around.

3. Kageyama. Speaking of people almost there, our wonderful blueberry has been chosen to train at the all Japan youth training camp, sign that they already got an eye on him and, seeing how immensely skilled and versatile he is, it’s almost obvious that he’s gonna become part of Japan’s national volleyball team in the future.

(Oikawa would have a blast being in the same team as Ushijima and Kageyama)

4. Tsukishima. Now that he’s “hooked on volleyball” I bet no one could stop him. He’s an incredible middle blocker, his abilities are recognized by everyone (that’s why a certain thing happened short after the Shiratorizawa match) and also he has still A LOT to grow. By the time he’s ready, every team would fight to have him and watch me being in the crowd yelling TSUKKIIIIIII until I have no air left in my lungs

5. Bokuto. He might not be the best ace of the country (yet), he’s not a stable player at all, but the national team needs him even just for the effect he has on people. Despite everything, he naturally draws people to him, he inspires and guide them, his power is so mesmerizing he doesn’t just motivate his own team, he motivates the opponents too. There may be spikers stronger than him (not so many tbh), but no one would have the same human impact on a team like he would have.

- Bonus: listen you have no idea how mad I am about the fact that no one ever acknowledges how hella good Nishinoya is as a libero. He’s perfect and the national team needs a guardian deity so if it’s not happening I’m gonna personally put him in a box and mail him there ok really he deserves it SO MUCH!!!!

You hated everyone at this fucking academy.

It wasn’t just that they always smelled like unicorn turds—and that wasn’t a compliment because unicorns had the nastiest smelling shit in the entire universe—but they were so arrogant and had this fucking superiority complex when it came to humans. You were sure if they actually lived with them and in human society instead of hidden away at some prestigious academy they wouldn’t pull this bullshit in the first place, but they still despised them.

Or maybe it was just one human they despised in particular.

I don’t get crushes.
That is a line from Jughead Volume Two issue nine.
You know what else Jughead says in Jughead Volume Two (issue eleven page ten if you wanna get real specific)?
“I don’t go on dates, Sabrina. I don’t like people that way, you know?
He didn’t say “I don’t get crushes on girls” or “I don’t like girls that way”. He said he doesn’t get crushes, period. He said he doesn’t like people that way. That’s just about as close to saying “I’m aromantic” as you can get without actually saying “I’m aromantic.”

So in conclusion: Jughead is canonically aromantic and I have the proof on my fucking bookshelf and nobody can convince me otherwise.

Do you think Derek ever remembers the Stiles that he first met, the loud mouthed, cheerful, quirky, smirking, always moving, always curious Stiles, basically the definition of ALIVE, and he knows Stiles has been through a lot even before that but it never crushed his spirit completely.

Do you think he looks at the Stiles after the nogitsune and everything else he’s had to go through, seeing right in front of him how much quieter Stiles is, how he might flinch at surprise noises or contact, how he doesn’t strive to know everything about anything anymore, how he keeps his head low and approaches things in a more calculating way, a tired way, rather than wholeheartedly.

Do you think he sees the tight lipped smile and the dark eyes and thinks to himself how he should have been more present, how he should’ve been able to do something, ANYTHING, to stop this from happening. Because it happened to himself, he should know how it goes by now, he should’ve seen the signs, he should’ve dared to believe the nagging voice in the back of his head and should’ve stepped forward when he saw that no one else would. But no, he had let himself believe in his self-pity, that Stiles, someone so great could never fall, that he could never experience something like Derek because he was too strong and too precious and too amazing, that he could never need someone like Derek when he has so many people around him.

Do you think he blames himself for not realizing sooner that they are both just people, that he is not some monster who attracts and deserves all the worst for just existing, that what happened to him could happen to anyone, and that Stiles is not an actual angel, who is immune to everything (even if he was Derek’s guardian angel).

Do you think Derek’s heart breaks over and over again every time Stiles half heartedly jokes that they’re all just broken now and that Derek isn’t alone.

Do you think he sees the plea in Stiles’ eyes that he doesn’t dare speak, the way Stiles had seen it in his before he had even known what he wanted, a touch, a hug, unconditional trust, but that he doesn’t know what to do because he still doesn’t trust himself, and all he wants to do is fall to his knees and tell Stiles he’s sorry for letting things go this way, and he knows that it’s pathetic and he’s just being his self-deprecating self again, and that it’s not helping anyone - it never has - but he doesn’t know what to do, all he knows is what Stiles had done for him and he knows he can’t be as great as Stiles, he can’t.

Do you think he tries anyway because he would give his heart and his soul, or what’s left of it anyway (sometimes he doesn’t believe there’s anything left at all but considering he’s alive, and considering the way something beats hard in his chest when Stiles’ eyes meet his there must be SOMETHING there) no matter how small and shattered- he’d give it all for Stiles. And he can’t rewind time and he can’t fix him, and Stiles deserves so much more than his shattered pieces, and one day surely, Stiles will find someone better, someone who serves as a cooling balsam to the pain within, and that thought makes his throat close up and his chest burn and it almost makes him turn away from Stiles because he’s been taught in the past not to give anything if there’s a risk he’ll get burnt- but he does it anyway, because this is Stiles and if he’s not getting what he needs from anyone else, if by chance he’s not letting anyone else in for the moment, if Derek knows where the cracks are and how to warm them, then he’ll be there. And he might not be enough but at least he’s something and maybe, just maybe he can serve some kind of purpose, whichever it may be, to preserve that last part of Stiles that’s hidden behind the cold exterior, maybe he’ll be just enough to help Stiles survive until his life pieces itself back together again and Stiles is back on his own two feet.

Do you think he takes Stiles’ hand, silently because he was never good with words, and because he remembers that most of the time Stiles had comforted him by touch alone, small gestures, rather than his wide vocabulary of words, and that he’s surprised when Stiles isn’t.

Do you think that the tears that form in Stiles’ eyes at the contact take all of the sorrys from Derek’s lips because he loses his breath when Stiles gives his hand a gentle squeeze and sniffles, smiling ever so slightly, not strong enough for an honest full fledged smile, because it would be a lie if he did, but this one is real and it’s the most beautiful thing Derek has ever seen because it means he was right, Stiles is still in there and he might know the one or other thing about getting him out.

Do you think they’re still overly careful around each other and about digging too deep, they’re cautious to protect each other, and they might seem to bicker and argue harshly on the outside about trivial things, but when it comes to words with depth they’re both quiet and calm, and Derek sticks to his silent gestures until they start losing their power.

Do you think the time he sets a hand on Stiles’ back and Stiles pulls away, fear makes his chest tight that he’s reached his limit and he’s not enough anymore, that he’s got nothing more left to give and that this is the point where he has to let Stiles go to find someone better, someone worthy, who will put that real, honest, full fledged, ear to ear grin on Stiles’ face in the most vulnerable of moments.

Do you think Derek remembers that time, where Stiles broke through all his walls and looked straight into his soul with just one word, a seemingly irrelevant word in an irrelevant conversation that had nothing to do with either of them, really, except for fighting off a threat with a paralyzing tail.

Do you think he remembers how Stiles gave everything back then, prior to that word, he used all the energy he had left in him to keep both their heads over water and that he would’ve died to try and save them both, and Derek had found a way to dismiss it, thinking Stiles is the kind of person who would sacrifice himself for anyone, kind of like himself except that Derek did it because he thought he deserves to die much more than anyone else and Stiles probably did it because he thinks no one deserves to die unless they’re trying to kill someone else.

Do you think he takes a step forward to chase the step Stiles took away and tells him simply “you’re not alone”, and it’s three words to Stiles’ one but it’s the best he’s got and he always knew his best is not even close to Stiles’, and he knows he’s got to try everything, give it everything he’s left in him all the way to the end, because Stiles’ would do the same for him if he let him, and he has to take the chance just in case Stiles lets him to the same.

Do you think Derek keeps on talking, thinking about the way he likes hearing Stiles’ voice when he’s down, and talking might not come easy to him but it gets easier when he sees Stiles is listening and his shoulders slump as if he’s finally letting some of the weight of his walls fall.

Do you think Derek envelopes Stiles tightly, not trying to prevent it when he breaks and starts sobbing into his chest, but holding him together so that he doesn’t feel shattered and scattered all over the place when the tears slowly cease, and it hurts, seeing Stiles like this, hearing the sobs that wrenched from him, and maybe it’s such a punch to the gut that Derek tears up himself, but this time he has to be there for Stiles so he keeps talking, making sure Stiles has something to focus on beside the sounds of his sobs.

Do you think that maybe when they both quiet down, exhausted, and Derek sees how reluctant Stiles is to leave his side just for a shower, even if he can’t look Derek in the eyes at the moment, and how they somehow drift back to each other when they lie down, how Stiles grasps onto his shirt tightly when Derek brings his arms back around him, that maybe Derek starts to think maybe there was a reason they kept getting pulled back to each other, maybe there’s a reason they can see past each other’s defenses and see more in each other than either would ever dare to admit, maybe, just maybe, he can be enough for Stiles, the way a scrawny, pale but dotted with moles, sarcastic 147 pounds of skin and bones teenager simply believing in him was enough or him years ago.

Crossing Lines: Arrow 5x19 Review (Dangerous Liaisons)

If 5x19 is indicative of the final four episodes of Season 5, then we are in for one hell of a ride.

After setting Oliver and Felicity off into trajectories, Arrow returns to the center as Felicity’s relationship with Helix come to a head. Original Team Arrow is splintered as Felicity aligns herself against Oliver and Diggle. Smoak versus Arrow is more than just Felicity going head to head with those who know and love her best. It’s about diving into Felicity’s real motivations. Sure, we were told Felicity’s grief over Billy is pushing her over the edge

(keep singing that tune Arrow), but we knew there was more. The truth is, Felicity’s motivations haven’t strayed too far from center after all.

Let’s dig in…

Marichat May Day 14: Age-Up Chat

Happy Mother’s Day, lovelies!  It was hard not to get carried away with this one.  ;)

For @maerynn-blog, who is yet another awesomely talented member of this community.  If you haven’t already, go read her stuff!!!

“What do you want?”  Marinette asked, inching her way along the wall, wary step by wary step, leading him away from the crowd outside the theater. She kept her eyes on the akuma who’d called himself simply Dorian, as her mind ran in circles.  She desperately needed to get away to transform, but as long as she kept his attention on her, he wasn’t hurting anyone else.

“Oh, my, you are lovely,” Dorian cooed appreciatively, ignoring her question as he slowly stalked after her.

“But I’m not, not really.”

“False humility,” he scoffed, his fists clenching angrily.  “Look at you, the very picture of youth and beauty, and you spout false humility.  You’re just like that sniveling upstart who thinks he’s good enough for my role.”

“What are you talking about?  What do you want with me?”

With you?  Nothing,” Dorian sneered, raising the mirror clutched in his hand.  “But from you?  I will take your youth, you lovely little liar.  You don’t deserve it!”

Marinette!”   A familiar pair of arms wrapped her in an equally familiar embrace, and lifted her just as a bright flash of light lit the alley.  He flinched, but his hold on her didn’t waver.   He simply extended his staff to launch them into the air, and vaulted away from the akuma.

“Chat?  Are you okay?  Were you hit?”

“I’m fine.”  He landed briefly on a rooftop, and shifted her to his back.  “Just hold on to me, so I can get you somewhere safe.”

Marinette wrapped her arms around his neck, and held on as he made his way towards her balcony.  She considered trying to convince him to put her down closer to the site of the attack, but knew from past experience that it was pointless.  He would take her home, where he thought she’d be safe, he’d say something about Ladybug taking care of things until he got back, and then he’d leave her to return to the fight.  He couldn’t know that he was actually carrying Ladybug away from the fight, and he never seemed to notice that she would always arrive after he did in those instances.

He landed lightly on her balcony, and Marinette released him to slide from his back.  Except that the ground was farther away than it should have been, and she stumbled in surprise.

“Whoa there, you alright?”  He steadied her with a hand on her waist, and bent to look at her face worriedly.

“Yeah, yeah I’m fine,” she replied, looking up to meet his eyes.  “I just—Chat?”  It was dark, so it was kind of hard to see, but he definitely looked different.

“What?  What’s wrong?”

“Come here, I need to see you.”  She took his hand and tugged him after her, toward the trap door into her room.

“Marinette, is this really the time…?”

“Yes!”  She climbed down into her room, and he followed reluctantly. “You took that hit for me, didn’t you?  I thought we got away in time, but I think he did something to you.”

She flipped on her light and turned to look at him, fearing the worst, and stared.

What she saw was not the worst.  He hadn’t been disfigured in any way, and he hadn’t been entirely robbed of his youth—both of which had been distinct possibilities, considering what that irate actor had been going on about.  But he had been aged.

Delightfully, deliciously aged.

He still had the same wild green eyes, the same riotous hair, the same beautiful mouth.  But he’d gotten noticeably taller, his shoulders noticeably wider, and he’d gained significantly in muscle mass.  Almost in a daze, Marinette stepped closer to trail trembling fingers from a cheekbone that was more pronounced, to a hard jaw that was covered in golden stubble.

“Marinette?”  He whispered uncertainly.  “What’s wrong?”

She blinked, and looked up into his eyes, surprised again by his unfamiliar height.   She licked her lips, and her hand fell.   “You’re…older, I think.”

“Yeah?”  He caught her small hand in his now much larger one.  His eyes had dipped to her mouth at the movement of her tongue, and the slit pupils dilated.  He stepped closer still, forcing her to look even farther up to maintain eye contact, and smirked.  “Do I age well?”

She laughed breathlessly, blushing.  “Do you really have to ask?”

“I guess not,” he murmured.  “But I wanted your answer anyway.”

“You’re—God, you’re beautiful, Chat.  If this is what you’re going to grow into…”

He leaned in toward her, and Marinette felt her eyes begin to slide closed—until a particularly forceful thump from the small purse at her hip recalled her to herself.

Tikki.

Super hero.

The akuma!

She jumped back, pulling her fingers from his grasp.  “I-I shouldn’t keep you.  The akuma—”

His eyes widened almost comically, and she knew that he’d forgotten, too.  “Merde, I have to go.  Stay here, where you’ll be safe.”   He turned and put one foot on the ladder to her loft bed, paused for a moment, and then turned back to take her face in his hands and press a quick, hot kiss to her mouth.  “Later, Princess.”  Then he was up the ladder and out the door, while she still stood rooted to the floor in her bedroom, staring after him until a red blur flew in front of her face.

“Mar-in-ette!  We have to go!”

She shook herself, and focused on the anxious kwami, determined to put freaking out on hold until after the akuma had been dealt with.   Except…

“Tikki, why the hell didn’t I take a picture?!“”

"I'm sorry" Langst Fic(Trigger Warning plz be safe) PT-2

Allura hadn’t got that much sleep that night.

She was aware that she had hurt Lance, and realized he was offering her comfort, as a good teammate- and friend- ought to have done.

But Allura, she had only responded with hate. She had insulted him. She had told him he was useless, and that he didn’t deserve to be the blue paladin.

But now that she had cleared her head, she realized just how wrong she was for saying such a thing to him.

Not only did he deserve to be the blue paladin- he had been made to be the blue paladin of Voltron. He had proven himself time and time again, over and over, that he deserved to be here with the team, just as much as anyone else did.

In her desperation to find an acceptable apology for Lance, she had marched straight up to Shiro’s room, knocked on the door, and waited.

The door slid open within two ticks, and Shiro cocked a questioning eyebrow at Allura.

“I need to talk to you. May I come in?” Shiro didn’t know what about, but he let Allura in, nodding, and watching from the still open door as she sat down on the edge of his bed, holding her head in her hands.

“Princess? What’s wrong?” Shiro asked hurriedly, closing the door and walking over to where she sat, crouching down to her level. He tensed when he saw that her cheeks were tear stained.

“Allura?” He questioned, concern littered across his expression. Allura shook her head in response and inhaled shakily.

“Shiro, I… I hurt him.” Allura managed to choke the words out, and her voice threatened to crack. Shiro was confused, but comforted her either way, stroking her hair and rocking her slightly.

“Allura, who did you hurt?” Shiro asked calmly, squeezing her shoulder comfortingly, patiently awaiting an answer.

She sighed sadly, a pitiful expression being the only insight to what might’ve happened.

“Lance. Last night. I told him that I was a fool for making him the blue paladin. He was just trying to help me with my own pain and I had to go and take my anger out on him instead of saying thank you. Like a normal person would.” Allura gestured outwards in exasperation as if illustrating her point further.

A picture of Lance’s stuffy nose, pink-tinged, and tear stained face popped up into Shiro’s train of thought, and tingles of anxiety bloomed in his stomach. Without thinking, Shiro mumbled to himself.

“That’s why he looked so bad.” Shiro looked to the floor, and before he realized it, Allura was tensing and turned to face him.

“You saw him last night? After I yelled at him?” Allura took Shiro by the shoulders, shaking him lightly. Her voice was laced with panic. He nodded stiffly.

“How am I going to apologize to Lance?! I hurt him so badly, Shiro- you won’t be able to form Voltron if Lance is in pain- and even if you didn’t need to form Voltron anytime soon, Lance is still a member of this team, and he deserves to be happy.” Her hands found their way to her hair, and she stared at the floor with wide, panicked eyes.
Shiro was slightly taken aback by her ranting but smiled warmly as he processed her words.

“Tell him exactly how you feel. Apologize sincerely.” Shiro responded, rubbing circles on her back. Allura thought quietly for a moment, before rising calmly and nodding her head briefly.

She turned to Shiro, who now was looking at her proudly, and a little shocked. Her emotions were a little erratic at the moment, he concluded but went along with whatever she had planned.

"This will need to be a group effort. I am not going to be the only one on this team treating him kindly from now on. We all include him, compliment him, praise him, and bond with him. I refuse to have one of my paladins consistently unhappy. Shiro, I am going to need your help talking to the others- especially Hunk. I don’t know what he’ll do to me when he finds out what I told Lance.” Shiro and Allura collectively shivered.

“Understood, princess.” Shiro nodded and rose from the bed.

“Thank you for helping me, Shiro. I really do appreciate it.” Allura smiled fondly, which Shiro mistakenly assumed was gratitude, and took her leave.

“I’ll see you in the control room soon!” Allura called behind her shoulder, leaving Shiro to his own thoughts.

Shiro had a lot of apologizing to do as well. He had brushed off Lance’s own feelings and problems, and he felt like shit for it.

Allura was determined to set things right between her and Lance, and marched her ass down to the control room. Once there, she pulled up a transparent screen, and clicked a few buttons, dragged a few knobs down, and there was the sound of a soft alarm.

It wasn’t blaring, but it wasn’t loud enough to where you could ignore it. She played it in every room except for Lance’s. She needed to talk to every paladin except for him. She needed to discuss the issues they were making when they came into contact with Lance.

 She needed to fix this.

And she was going to fix it right. Now.

Pidge, Keith, Hunk, Coran, and Shiro all made their way to the control room, their thoughts seemingly somewhere else.

Pidge was looking down at the ground, timing their steps.

Keith was looking forward solemnly, lost in thought.

Shiro was focused on the task at hand.

Coran was fiddling with the end of his mustache.

Hunk’s stomach was aching for some food.

They entered the control room as a collective unit, the team taking notice that Lance was not in the room with them.

Coran sighed and made his way to the exit.

“I’ll go wake the boy up.” Coran sighed sleepily, and Allura stopped him before he could physically leave.

“Coran, I purposely did not wake him up. I called you here specifically to talk about Lance.” The team, excluding Shiro, tensed, and anxiety blossomed in their guts.

“What about Lance?” Hunk was the first to speak, anxiety evident in his voice.

The aura of the room was cold… Too cold.

“There is no need for alarm Hunk- I checked on Lance earlier. Physically speaking, he is unharmed.” Allura lied, images of Lance’s crimson stained floor coming to mind, memories of her crying in the doorway.

Thank god he’s a deep sleeper.’ Allura thought to herself, images of the now cleaned and properly bandaged cuts across Lance’s forearms flashing across her train of thought.

She had scrubbed the quiznak out of his floor, and rummaged through a majority of his things(which she argued over doing for who knows how many minutes), and confiscated all sharp items he might have been able to harm himself with.

She had found him earlier that morning, wanting to apologize, but after finding him in such terrible shape, her confidence shattered, and she didn’t know how to approach the situation.

But now she did.

“We need to talk about the manner in which we treat Lance.” Allura sighed, looking at the ground in disappointment.

“Princess, I can assure you we-” Coran began, but Allura smiled at him reassuringly, showing that she was not upset with any of them.

She turned back to the rest of the group, smiling sadly.

“I have noticed that our attitudes towards him are less than acceptable. In fact, our tendencies to snap at him and reprimand him mercilessly make me angry. Not only that- they damage him and his well being.” Pidge made an act to protest, but Allura raised her hand to silence them.

“I am no exception to this. I made a particularly rude multitude of comments to Lance last night, and I believe I caused him to second guess his position on this team and his usefulness to the rest of us.” Allura’s voice cracked on the last sentence, and the room was eerily silent.

“Oh my God…” Hunk whispered, and a shiver ran up Allura’s spine.

She inhaled shakily, gathering as much courage as possible to get through the next sentences.

“He had suggested that I try talking about Altea. He told me it might’ve eased some of the pain that came with losing it. I told him that I didn’t want to talk about a planet that no longer existed.” Allura sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose.

Hesitantly, she continued.

“When he had tried to apologize… I…”

That’s when the tears began to flow.

They were unrelenting, and they were an endless testament to her guilt.

“I told him that I was a fool to make him the blue paladin. I told him he did more harm than good. That I didn’t want his help. I called him useless! I messed up so badly- I let my quiznaking emotions get the better of me and I took out all my pent up anger out on him- and now he’s upset and doubting himself, and it’s all my fault.” Allura finished off with a sob and collapsed to the ground.

The team watched as the princess clasped her hands over her face in shame.

None of them knew what to do- but they had a pretty good idea.

Hunk was the first to move towards her and crouched down to look her in the eye.

“I will never forgive you for hurting my best friend. Especially Lance.” Hunk whispered, lifting her chin up to look her in the eyes. Allura’s lip quivered.

“But, I love him enough to where I will help him forgive you.” Hunk smiled and pulled Allura into a tight hug.

She helplessly sobbed into his shoulder, wrapping her arms around his torso. She hadn’t been hugged in such a way since she had needed to delete her father’s AI.

It stung.

But in a good way.

Pidge burst into tears, and rushed to Hunk and Allura, joining in on the cuddle fest, sobbing uncontrollably. They were upset that Allura was the reason that Lance was unhappy last night, but yelling at her wasn’t going to resolve anything for the Voltron team, so instead, they joined in.

Coran joined in afterward, walking forwards and comforting Pidge and Allura.

Before long, Keith and Shiro were tugged into the bunch(much to their discomfort, but they went with it anyway), and they stayed like that for a few ticks, until finally pulling apart.

Allura was the first to speak.

“I think we all know what we have to do.” Allura looked up at the rest of the team, determination dripping off her tone.

Shiro grinned, Coran nodded, Pidge smirked, and Hunk gave her a thumbs up.

They turned to Keith, who had his eyes on a particularly interesting crack in the floor.

He sighed.

“I think I need to do more than that. I need to confess to him.” Keith mumbled, a blush creeping across his cheeks.

“Holy quiznak.”

part one   part three

I am so incredibly proud of William Magnusson. All of his life he spent trying to please his parents, but especially his father. A father who had already drilled into him from a young age that he would never amount to anything unless he was a carbon copy of himself. The sad reality that William grew up in is that his parents could not have given a shit about him and his happiness. Yet, William continually tried to please him. William turned out to be a great guy with a huge heart even if its hard to see on the outside.

Why I’m proud of him is because today he made a decision. Today he finally chose himself. He chose Noora. He chose happiness. His family was never a family. William chose Noora because she is his family. William finally realized that nothing he will ever do will make his father love him the way he deserves to be loved. So he chose the girl who will and has.

William is giving up everything he knows to be with Noora because she needs him and he needs her. He loves her so damn much and its beautiful. Not to mention, he’s giving up everything toxic in his life to become the best person he can be. His father literally told him that he’s being cut off and William doesn’t care. Because money does not equal happiness. William would be happy living in a cardboard box if that meant he could be with the woman he loves and make something of himself, He signed himself up for Law school. The boy who didn’t trust the legal system! Do you know how far he has come? When he had messed up and confessed, he chose to believe that it would all work out and it did. That’s true inspiration. Also, I am sure that the whole situation with Noora and NIco sparked that fire inside of him to make sure that never happens to anyone else ever again. William once wrote, “People need people.” and he’s dedicating his life to being a person that can be counted on. A  boy that has always been there for the people who needed him most.

You don’t have to like William, but he has grown up in more ways than you can imagine. At least give him the credit where its deserved.

Bubblegum Crisis

When Chat Noir gets into a sticky predicament during patrol, he turns to Marinette for help.

We did a gift exchange in our server, and I got assigned to the precious @maristoryart, who loves Marichat! <3 She’s the artist responsible for the adorable art on which I based Totally on Purrpose! Many thanks to my cheering squad for this @powerdragonmoon @kryallaorchid @yunyin @edendaphne @qookyquiche <3

Also on AO3 and FFnet.

With careful fingers, Marinette inspected the back of Chat Noir’s head as he sat cross-legged in front of her chaise. His tail lay flat on the floor, as dejected as the drooping cat ears on top of his head. Of all the possible reasons for Marinette to be combing her fingertips through Chat Noir’s soft hair, bubblegum was the last thing she might have imagined.

Nico Rant

I think people underestimate Nico and forget how powerful he is. He IS a child of the Big three you know. When he actually unleashes his powers like in BoO, even Reyna and Coach Hedge were scared and they were on Nico’s side. HE FREAKING TURNED A LIVING PERSON INTO A SPIRIT. HE OPENED UP THE EARTH AND HELPED IT EAT BRYCE. Also he can basically teleport with shadow travel which is WAY COOL. And I don’t know anyone else who can do that. Let alone him being able to bring skeletons out of the ground to fight alongside him. He he also sent dreams to mortals to keep them asleep. I’m just so proud of my strong little boy and want him to receive all the love and praise he deserves. (especially if it’s from will ;))
