“I found God, I found him in a lover
when his hair falls in his face
and his hands so cold they shake”

(Y/N) was undeniably, irrevocably, hopelessly in love with Spencer Reid. And he was unquestionably, unequivocally, unmistakably in love with her too. She fought it for a while, he didn’t; he was quick to accept it, she struggled; he confessed while she denied. When your heart gets broken more times than your body can handle, it scars you even if you can’t see it on skin, it cuts and burns and breaks and worst of all, takes away any leftover faith you had in finding someone who will put those pieces back together and keep them like that. And though the universe was shouting at her, flashing lights and sounding bells, alerting her to the man that was in front of her, she still flinched at the thought of being with someone.

But Reid isn’t like anyone she’s ever met before or is meant to meet in the future. It’s not even about his IQ, his doctorates, his eidetic memory. It’s not Dr. Spencer Reid – the genius. It’s about Spencer, the one she calls late at night when she’s had a nightmare, the Spencer that brings her coffee every single morning, the Spencer that joined her on the couch on a Friday night with takeout and a foreign movie, the Spencer that caught her crying so many times before and always tried everything to cheer her up.

She found herself staring at him more than she’d ever admit. Watching intently as he leans over a desk and his hair falls at his face, when he bites his lip as if it helps him concentrate better, when he licks his lip slowly as he comes to a realization, when he strides somewhere with long steps carried by slim, long legs, but especially, she loves to find herself lost in his eyes. That’s where the truth resides, the real emotions he never lets out, she can read him in a second just by looking into his eyes.

And when she feels him, that’s a whole new story. Reid’s taller than most people, herself included, but instead of intimidating her, it comforts her immensely. She loves how the one-sided hugs always turn into a full embrace because they want to be as close as possible, she loves it when he grabs her hands when she’s nervous or when she grabs his when he’s cold, she loves those stupid forehead kisses that make her feel like a giddy teenager all over again. She loves it all.

Faith ~ Part Three

It was a long, hard day indeed.

It was long dark before you were finally able to stagger up to your room and after the rigorous training Levi had put you all through, your legs felt like jelly as you attempted to climb the stairs.

“First day is always the worst. The Captain’s just trying to intimidate you is all. That why he had Hange here last night. Another tactic of his. He’s seeing how much you can stand.”

Eld had suddenly appeared beside you, chuckling quietly at his own joke.

“Her I can tolerate. All that training? I don’t know, my legs are pretty close to giving in.”

You laughed along with him, glancing up at him before dropping your gaze back to the steps, so you wouldn’t miss one and end up falling flat on your face, as you had a habit of doing.

“Well, I bet I can help with that part.”

Your brow furrowed at his words, but before you could look up to question him, he had literally swept you off your feet and was carrying you up the stairs, two steps at a time.

An involuntary squeal escaped your lips, followed by a soft giggle. Fearing your presence alone was enough to cause him to trip and fall, ensuring a disaster on the stairwell, you tucked your head into the crook of his neck as you threw your arms around him.

“Don’t be scared. I promise I won’t drop you.”

Now at the top of the stairs, you pulled away in time to see him wink down at you, before he gently placed you on the ground.

“Well, thanks for the lift.”

Tucking your hair behind your ear nervously, you let out another soft laugh as you smiled up at him.

“Anytime. Get some rest okay? I’ll see you in the morning. Good night.”

“Good night.”

You watched him walk away, all the while keeping his eyes on you until just before he turned into his room. Now alone in the hall, you shook your head and scoffed in a slight state of disbelief to yourself as you spin on your heel, only to see Levi at the end of the hall, staring at you.

The eye contact you had inadvertently made with him only lasted for a second before he swung open his door and hurried inside.

The next morning, you arrived down at the training ground early again, but you weren’t the first one there this time.

You could see someone running laps in the distance, with what looked like two full mop buckets full of water balanced on a single stick above their head.

“Is that what punishment looks like around here?”

Nodding to the figure you had deciphered as Eld, you glanced over to Levi.

“That’s one of them, yes.”

His tone was flat, dry. Different from the banter you had partaken in yesterday.

“Oh. Well, what did he do?”

“Slacked on his chores. I don’t tolerate uncleanliness.”

“I hear there’s quite a bit you don’t tolerate.”

Taking a pretty bold chance, you stuck your neck out and prayed that he wouldn’t bite your head off for your provoking words.

His head whipped in your direction so fast that you almost noticeably flinched as he spoke.

“You’re correct. And I’m quite good at doling out punishment whenever I deem necessary.“

He took a few slow steps toward you, his tone softening now to the almost playful one you had experienced yesterday. Almost.

"I don’t doubt that, sir. But I must say I do hope you never get the chance to punish me.”

You jumped at the chance to get back to that playful banter. He was the Captain and his reputation did precede him, but he seemed different than how you had expected him to be; than how everyone else said he was. He was much more forth-coming, at least when you were alone and you were determined to take advantage of that.

“Oh, but I hope I do. And everyone gets what’s coming to them eventually, brat.”

A smirk danced across his lips as he walked past you, brushing your shoulder with his gently.

I don’t get why people are so upset about wish!Robin’s will to leave Storybrooke and Regina. They’ve met a day or two ago and he is supposed to trust her? She takes him to her vault, talk about the heart of her enemies and Robin’s daughter… and he realizes this was not what he’s signed up for.

I believe he kisses her hoping to give her what she was looking for because he knows she’s seeing him as some sort of replacement and he used this to escape his messy life in the wish realm. It doesn’t work because soulmates… c’mon!

Now, how can anyone be upset about a Robin that has nothing to do with Robin? I mean, if you’ve put too much faith on this, I’m sad to inform you, but you’ve set yourself up for disappointment.

Regina’s growth came with a lot of suffering and being good didn’t stop it from happening, so why are so many questioning the suffering ahead?

She’s gonna be sad when he’s gone? Sure! She’s going to realize that her relationship with Robin cannot be replaced not even by his doppelganger? Absolutely! But this little arc, I believe, will also tell her that it wasn’t the pixie dust, but who he was that made what they had special. Being destined to each other is just a detail that worked only after she and Robin lived all the hardships of their lives that led them to where they were, the perfect time to understand and love each other.

If there’s a single moment that I think can be said that Anora loses faith in her father, it’s here. She makes a reasonable request - ‘hey, we’re facing the destruction and devastation of our nation, maybe we ask for help.’ Loghain responds with a raving outright refusal.

And then she asks the question of Loghain killing Cailan.

And Loghain tries to put the blame on Cailan. “Cailan’s death was his own doing.” I want to look at that as him looking at it as a regret, a failure that he could not save Maric’s son from his own foolishness, but… All I really get is that he’s trying to avoid accepting the responsibility that he bears for what happened to Cailan.

I mean, sure. The battle at Ostagar might have been lost either way, but it wasn’t just Loghain pulling out his troops. It was him pulling them out and denying aid to those in the valley, those who were depending on them to save them. Loghain withdrew, rather than aiding.

It’s this moment that Anora realizes that Loghain is failing the nation, even as he claims to love it.

Darkness drapes around the man seated far from the fireplace, creating a veil around him to display his mournful thoughts. Another child lost, another instance where their life was in his hands and slipped between the cracks of his fingers; all those broken promises he fed to that poor child, making her believe she would live to see another day. What kind of foul person could live with themselves after looking into the eyes of someone so innocent, telling them that death was not longing to sweep them away. He had lied to her parents as well, telling them that her chances of survival were far higher than they actually were. How the fear had melted from their frames, their shoulders dropping from their tense position. He had given them all false hope, every last one of them as he had far too much confidence in his abilities. How the young girl’s eyes had trusted him, how she had put every ounce of faith she had left in him; yet he had failed her. He can still recall how warm her blood felt as it dripped from his fingers, staining his clothes crimson. How her hands reached up to him in a panic when she realized she was going to die. How she begged him to come closer, a girl no older than fourteen, to whisper something in his ear. Thank you. Her voice had been tender and sweet, laced with the pain he had allowed her to feel, despite the fact he had a feeling his procedure would not be a success. How deeply remorseful he felt towards her, not only due to her death, but because her last breath was wasted on someone such as him. He had not deserved to hear her last words, that was something a parent should hear from their child, but for some reason those two words were whispered to him instead. It had been something he kept to himself as he felt her gratitude was something far too personal to share with her parents. How would he even explain such a thing to grieving parents? Should he have gone to them, their daughter’s blood on his clothes, and told them that her last words were thanking him. No. He would rather have them think she said nothing at all - to keep them from realizing she had wasted her words on a stranger.

Now he sits in his office, fire burning brightly, devastation prominently etched on his features. His blue eyes struggle against his emotions, it is a battle he is not unfamiliar with after he watches the life drain from a child’s eyes. It takes everything he has not to allow himself to cry, as he feels a burning sensation in his throat, the young girl’s image flashing in his mind endlessly; her words haunting him no matter how hard he tries to push them out. Her voice has taken over his entire brain, not one other thought rushes through as per usual. The voice of reason that is generally present seems to have disappeared as his confidence has. Thank you. Her words linger in his head in a seemingly endless loop and he wonders what she was thanking him for. How could someone find themselves being grateful as they feast their eyes upon their killer? How could a young child who was losing their chance at life harbor any gratitude for a stranger who failed her? It is hard for him to think up a reason for why she would whisper such a thing to him, as he would not have done it himself had he been in her shoes. Perhaps her words were merely said out of a pain-induced haze. How he wishes he could believe such a thing, for it would make it far easier to believe she was not in her right mind then to believe she would genuinely thank him for not succeeding.

As her memory courses through his veins, burning up his insides as though his skin was made of fire, tears finally fall down his cheeks. It is a relief to allow his emotions to spill from his eyes, his chest feeling far lighter than it had before, his heart not as heavy. It is as though her memory is dripping down his cheeks along with his tears, his own pain lessening the more he cries. But before he can release everything he feels, a certain frustration falls over him, accompanied by harsh anger. Such emotions cause his trembling hands to reach out and grab a hold of some of his notes, squeezing them between his fingers until they are a crumpled mess.

“What good are these if they cannot even save one life?!”

He finds himself yelling as he swipes his journals off of his desk, slamming his fists down on the wood, his hands stinging from the impact. His head falls forward as he stands behind his desk, darkness draping across his back like a cloak. Pieces of his hair, which he has allowed to grow far longer than usual, fall forward to shield his eyes from the world around him. Water drips off his cheeks to land on the wood, frustration dissipating with every tear he releases as devastation returns. He falls forward, his forearms supporting him as he cries. How useless he feels, to have lost yet another child, to have failed another soul, to have watched another life dwindle away to nothing. She had not even had the chance to live her life and he had allowed death to rip it away from her. How could he fail so often and still convince himself that he was a talented physician? For the truth was, he was far from a talented physician, he was merely a passionate man with a good set of tools.

Trembling hands and weak knees cause the man to slide off his desk top, his body landing on the floor. Pierre could not even support himself against his desk any longer, his grief too encompassing. The darkness that he once wore as a cloak now devours his frame, allowing him to wallow in sadness in his solitude. He is alone in his grief for the child and for the grief he feels in regards to his failure. There is no one in the world that could properly understand the pain he feels within his gut, nor would they understand the burning sensation in his bones as he gazes down at his hands. His hands that are supposed to save lives, not end them, yet they had failed again. They were useless things, just as he was, that allowed darkness to overtake the light in the world; the same way he allowed the darkness to overtake him only moments ago.

A sigh escapes his lips as his hands move to wipe away his tears. ‘There is no use in this, Pierre, she would have died without your help besides.’ He thinks to himself as he moves to begin picking up the papers strewn across his office floor. But there is something that still plagues him, something that causes his heart to skip a beat and causes his usually steady hands to shake even more than they had before. It is a seed of doubt in a field of reassurance. He cannot ever know if the girl would have died without his help, nor can he assume such things. But without such assumptions, he might lose his mind. For staring into the eyes of death with defiance in your own, is a dangerous game you are bound to lose.

Emma will be put under a sleeping curse by midseason: A prediction.

I truly and completely believe Red Kansas is the premonition and foretelling of Swan Queen. This is my (extremely hopeful) prediction of the season.

Emma’s self doubt and faith will swallow er completely. She will be beaten down by Morpheus and convinced by the Evil Queen that she does not know what real love is. And that she a true coward. Somehow, by either protecting her family or wanting to see what real love is, the Evil Queen manages to put her under the sleeping curse. Maybe even before the wedding of Hook and Emma

Hook will obviously be very arrogant and confident he can lift the curse. After all, he was to marry Emma. There is a dramatic set up and, Hook in his blacks and Emma in all white, will kiss Emma to wake her.

But she doesn’t wake up. He kisses her again. Nothing. Again, with conviction. Nada. Again, this one frustrated and angry. Dead Fish.

He turns to Emma’s family, Regina included, and says “I cannot wake her. The Evil Queen has made a curse that prevails over True Love.”

BOOM END OF MIDSEASON FINALE (either that or the actual finale but i think it will be mid)

The next season, we turn to Regina to save them all from her dark self. They will try any and all t kill her but they cannot because to kill the Evil Queen, Regina must die too. In order to defeat the Evil Queen, Regina must embrace her. And she must discover her true happy ending.

The entire 2nd half season deals with everyone attempting to wake Emma, but with no luck. Maybe even Henry writes her awake. She’s awake, but she’s not Emma. She’s an empty shell. Nothing like his real mom. So he has to force himself to write her back to sleep until the curse is lifted the way it should be.

It also deals with Regina’s struggle. With Emma gone, her real feelings for her are coming to surface. But she’s terrified. Not only because it is Snow’s daughter, but surely, Emma cannot feel the same. She was with Hook! Snow becomes her guide, helping her come to terms with these feelings, and discover what they mean, even if it means rejection. Snow gives Regina her blessing.

The Evil Queen has full control over Storybrooke. Maybe even Hook has joined her because the one thing that made him good didn’t love him the way he loved her. Everyone is at Emma’s glass coffin, mourning their loss, except for Snow, and Henry too. They have not given up hope.

Regina has a heroic discovery. She embraces bravery to go to Emma and admit her true feelings to her lifeless body. She appears to her in red, Emma still in white, and has a long monologue that Lana will destroy lives with her acting skills. She admits she love Emma, and regrets she didn’t find out sooner. With a tearful goodbye, she says “I love you, Emma Swan.”  and kisses the corner of her lips.

Emma looks at Regina and whispers, “Gina. It’s you. It’s always been you.” She sits up and kisses Regina. CHEERS AND TEARS AND APPLAUSE.

Hook will not have it. He becomes a true villain. Cue the villain of season 7.

What do you all think? Let me know!

Imagine you and Loki having a love story like in Kelly Clarkson’s song Piece by Piece.

Piece by piece, you collected him up off the ground where Odin abandoned him. Piece by piece, you filled the holes that Odin burned in Loki at six years old. You never walk away, you never ask for money, you take care of him because you love him.

You have a daughter that you both love very much. Loki will never leave her like Odin left him. She will never have to wonder her worth, because unlike Odin, Loki’s going to put her first. He’ll never walk away, he’ll never break her heart, he’ll take care of things, he’ll love her.

And piece by piece you helped him restore his faith that a man can be kind and a father should be great.

i have so many feelings for mike wheeler. here you have this kid, who is a total nerd and loves dnd and star wars. His friend goes mcfreakin missing, and he meets some weird girl in the middle of the night and hes so kind that he lets her stay with him???? and when he thinks his friend is dead you can really relate because he breaks down after being really strong this whole time and having hope. And then he even FORGIVES the girl he thought was lying and admits he was wrong. And he puts all his faith and trust into this random stranger he met in the middle of the woods, and teaches her  simple things  she doesnt know because hes so damn nice. and when he finds out she lied, she comes and saves him? and then they all apologize to eachother??? like what next level friendship shit, like these damn kids are more mature than most people. Then at the end like she saves them all because she knows its the right thing to do and its the only choice, and even though hes heartbroken he is still just as nerdy and as kind and as strong. like wtf mike wheeler, i love him.

also mikes hair is A+, 10/10 would ruffle again.

  • She’s still with Jason. Carrie still doesn’t know how to break free from his hold. For a while Jason had gotten better. The hitting had stopped and he put down the bottle for a while. Carrie thought they could be happy again like they used to but of course Jason Teague was a hurricane. There was no denying that and soon he fell back into his old ways and began hitting Carrie again. Of course she took it. She loved him after all. Carrie still had blind faith that Jason would change once again. She knows that her love can and will save him and if her love can’t then maybe something else will - a baby.
  • jason teague - she loves him so much it’s killing him
  • other hallow falls people -  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

“ This is how I die. ” His eyes glance from the cup in his hand and right back up to the woman who’d put it there. Sometimes he hates being her best friend. ( That’s a lie. He always loves it. But sometimes it involves drinking scary things that she and El have come up with and he really can’t HANDLE that right now. )

“ Do I have to drink it? ”

prince pewter patina: the prince of the kingdom monochromia, a land without color. his subjects are creatures called crowna that are terrifically stupid. often mistaken for a princess and kidnapped because of his feminine nature. toadette, though, sees him as the manliest guy going, and he, likewise, thinks she’s prettier than any princess. he can be extremely severe and is most often depicted with a prominent scowl.

kass trackum: a pokemon tracker, she tracks down extremely rare pokemon, typically for pokemon professors and the like. she hails from the lemon drop islands and harbors a huge obsession with the slowking who reside in wise man’s cove. this is where she encounters her faithful companion, yado. she can be incredibly naive, much to yado’s chagrin.

yado: kass’ partner pokemon, kass worked to put him through college rather than following her own pursuits. he is a licensed psychiatrist. he can become exhausted with his trainer’s ignorance of most things, however he is completely loyal to her. he has a crippling fear of bug-type pokemon.

taffeta “taffy quizgirl” dramberge: daughter of an unhinged supervillain, she was subjected to a horrific experiment which left her with a plexiglass dome in place of a torso. she possesses her mother’s dramatic abilities, but they largely remain dormant. she is billy quizboy’s protege. she is a thoughtful yet insecure person, but billy and pete help her build her confidence.

adularia: an assassin. she is a serious person whose singular motivation is her objective. when given an assignment she becomes an unstoppable force in order to achieve her goals. she can be cold and distant and has no sense of self-preservation. her love-interest would have to be an uppercrust gem who she serves, and would be the only one she would be capable of showing warmth to.

lou “pollux” emmerich:
heeeeeeey, that’s pretty good! lou is a clone of huey emmerich and possesses an incredible imagination. he focuses mainly on physical sciences. a problem child, he rejected his destiny and embarked on a journey to create his own legacy. he is ruled by his ocd and is incredibly germaphobic. despite his psychological hang-ups he manages to be an amazingly charming individual. however, he is very introverted and would prefer to avoid interactions with others.

dewey “castor” emmerich: a clone of huey emmerich and the twin brother of lou. he is incredibly mechanically inclined and pursues life sciences. he embraced his destiny and worked to become everything that had been expected of him. he is terrible at communicating his ideas and feelings but tends to be a very outgoing and social individual despite his inability to articulate himself clearly. he is a vegetarian and lou abstains from eating meat himself because of this.

osamu renchi: husband of the fire lord, kadenza, he is often mistaken for the fire lord himself, which irritates him immensely because he believes his wife to be the most capable leader to have ever graced the earth. he is a nonbender, though he is fantastically gifted at martial arts and a formidable chi blocker. he is a highly spiritual individual and extremely studious. he comes from a very large family of fire benders who treat him as something of the black sheep of the family given he is the only non bender to be born under the renchi name.

yat-sen renchi: osamu’s nephew, a fire bender who pioneered glassbending. he creates exquisite works of art using his fire bending to sculpt glass. however, his sculptures only yield so much of a profit and to supplement his income he performs as an exotic dancer. he is an extremely cheerful individual who treats everyone as though they were a lifelong friend. he is, however, a bit removed from reality, as he spends an exorbitant amount of time daydreaming.

sundance: a team rocket member. his partner is kid. he is not a particularly talkative individual and uses as few words as possible to navigate a conversation. he prefers to let kid do the talking for both of them. if he speaks to you, be wary, it’s likely you’ve unknowingly crossed him or kid and he’s plotting your demise. the duo are ruthless and at times sadistic. they joined team rocket because they genuinely align with their intentions. his lead pokemon is clefable.

li ocean: the step-daughter of commander hoo-ha, she was given a camp counselor position at camp kidney. similarly, her twin sister il, her polar opposite, was given a position as camp counselor at acorn flats. she is as thick as a brick and often misinterprets directions so grossly that hilarity ensues. she is extremely passionate about arts and crafts, particularly finger painting. she is wildly optimistic and never without a smile on her face. she has a huge crush on slinkman which he surprisingly reciprocates.

juniper heathwood: a southern belle with cajun roots, polite and pleasant. she insists on being treated like a lady at all times. she is the dragon of the fifth element, void. when master fung failed to help her control her abilities she turned to hannibal roy bean for guidance. while hannibal originally was manipulating her to achieve his own machinations, he grew to be genuinely fond of her, and she of him.

What’s so fantastic to me about this episode, is how Dipper has to save Mabel with the strength of his determination and willpower. It’s such a contrast to how Mabel saves the day in “Not What He Seems” by relying on her heart and faith in the ones she loves.

Dipper is the head, therefore he can put aside the temptations of Bill’s trap, move past all the emotional manipulation and focus on the facts: none of this is real and he has to save his sister from these harmful delusions.

Mabel is the heart, therefore she can completely ignore every fact that tells her Stan is a bad guy and trust him anyway. Not because she’s naive, but because she knows how to read people and listen to her gut instinct, allowing her to bypass all logic. That faith is what helps her ultimately make the right choice.

I just love how Gravity Falls shows that no matter how different Mabel and Dipper are personality-wise, one’s mentality is not superior to the other’s. They both have unique strengths that are equally important and allowed to shine at different points in the show.

“Do you think it’s supposed to be ironic to have Tyr, who was associated with the law, lose his right hand because of his unrightfulness /dishonesty?

“I don’t think it’s understood to be ironic–when the other gods have tricked Fenrir into letting them put the unbreakable fetter on him, Tyr is the only god who’s honest enough to agree to Fenrir’s request that one of them put his hand in Fenrir’s mouth as a pledge that this isn’t being done in bad faith. Tyr is involved in the duplicity, but he seems to hate getting away with the deception, and he accepts the price of the lie that the other gods get away with.”

This is from fuckyeahnorsemythology post of a q&a with John Crawford

Everyone is entitled to her interpretation, but … that question seems a little … shallow, at best and more likely based in ignorance.   Or you can take the social justice view and say it’s a disgustingly abelist point of view rooted in blaming the injured person for his own injury.

Sorry, there can be many interpretations of the One-handed God but attributing it to dishonesty?  Huh?

Liberalism/ liberal ideology is one hell of a strong motivator. People who think the left should be spending a significant amount of its energy advocating for Sanders put aside literally everything they know even structurally about our government for the sake of faith. Presidents have more power over the military than almost anything else, so asking leftists to put aside his imperialist foreign policy because he might maybe veto some Republican bills is….ridiculous. Do you think he’s gonna executive order away capitalism? What could even the most willing and useful president do for us?

It is one thing to say that Sanders’ surge in popularity is indicative of a possible cultural opening which can be used by leftists to build a movement- which I would say is mostly true- and another to pretend he could ever be our left savior.

Hello admins! Congrats to all you accomplishments! This is for Kagami and his GF who are ready to say the L word. The fluff prompt is 'Hold my heart, it’s beating for you anyway'. She's been hurt a lot but she trusts him now. It's in this place she takes his hand and puts it on her heart that beats differently with him in it.

Hold my heart, it’s beating for you anyway.

You always wondered if Kagami knew what it was like to distrust someone. He always seemed to have so much faith in others.

So you asked him about it, after inviting him out to the park that night.

“It’s sort of like…knowing you should trust someone, but you can’t, because you still expect them to stab you in the back any time. Do you get what I mean?”

Kagami was silent for a long time. You wondered what he was thinking. Then at last he said, “Is this about - before?”

Of course it was. You’d had your insecurities spat back at your face by someone you thought loved you.

That was why you needed to be sure. Before you gave your heart to someone else again.

Kagami let out a sigh, running a hand through his hair, as you watched him anxiously. “Okay. I know you’re scared. I don’t blame you for that. And I’ll be honest, but I don’t know what to say to make you trust me. I don’t have the words for it. I just…know in my gut, that I care for you. More than the last guy. Heck, more than anyone.”

This was what you liked about Kagami Taiga. He was the epitome of “actions speak louder than words”, and that was what made him so very honest.

Please, for these nights that I’ll never ever make through—

You took a deep breath, reaching over to grab Kagami’s hand, and ignoring his protests, rested his palm over your heart, where the closeness, the warmth, of his touch was enough to calm your pounding heart, the beat relaxing and gradually returning to normal.

Like it felt safe.

“I do trust you,” you said at last. “And I love you.”

May these days never end, where you hold my hand and say we will.

A scene I need to happen early in s12

Dean is frantic to find his brother who is missing and hurt and he has his mother there who is finding it hard to put her head around this whole thing- her sons as hunters, Angels, new technology, the whole lot.

And she asks Dean, to calm both him and herself:

“Tell me about Sam”

And Dean just looks at her, a kind of sadness in his eyes, and says everything we’ve wanted to hear Dean say to/about Sam for seasons. About his integrity, his faith, his intelligence, his desire to do the right thing, the way Dean can trust his life to no one else, and just how proud he is of his baby brother.

And he kind of tears up a bit, because it’s been a rough few days.

And Mary gets all grim- doesn’t necessarily hug her son, but becomes all the more determined to meet her youngest, and save him.

This is what I need.
