It’s gonna gonna gonna…..

After the horrorshow that was Britney Ever After...

I’ve been taking some much needed time to recover and looking through some of my favorite Britney and *NSYNC photos. I thought I’d share a few here:

I’ve always loved this one of Brit and Joey. They both look actually happy.

Same shoot. Joey, JC, and Lance all look actually decent. JC’s inherent dorkiness isn’t shining through, unlike a certain ramen-noodle-haired somebody who would also be fine if it wasn’t for the awkward leaning reaching thing he’s doing. Chris… I really hate the braids. Love Chris, hate the braids with a burning passion. Brit’s adorable (and tiny) as hell here, fight me.

This one’s a little awkward for a few reasons. She’s adorable. Joey’s a mess, Ronald-McDonald-head to weird-cuffs. Lance looks like he might bite somebody. Is JC actually that red, or is he just slowly absorbing the excessive red dye from Joey? This… is probably one of the better pictures of Chris’s braids. They aren’t super noticeable here. And Justin’s wearing a really bland goofy hat. I love it.

The denim. It’s gross. I almost did this as a Halloween costume with a friend a few years back. Gross or not, it’s memorable as hell and I definitely crack a smile every time I see them in these outfits.

Kandi Burruss kicked it back to the ‘90s recently when she posted a photo of herself in the studio with *NSYNC. The throwback snapshot harks back to a bygone era when the boy band was hard at work on their sophomore album No Strings Attached.

Kandi was recruited by the guys to help craft tunes for the release, eventually helping to co-write their deliciously great track “It Makes Me Ill.” And, if you think it looked fun to work with the guys just by glancing at the photo, the Real Housewives of Atlanta singer/songwriter confirmed to The Daily Dish that it really was a party.

“I have another picture of the same picture with all of us shooting birds at the camera, but I didn’t think that was good for their image at this point so I didn’t post that one,” Kandi told The Daily Dish.

“We were young. We were having fun in the studio. I had wrote the song 'It Makes Me Ill’ for them on their No Strings Attached album and She'kspeare was the producer, and we just had a good time. They were super talented. They were really silly in the studio too, so you see Chris [Kirkpatrick] was acting crazy in the picture. It was really fun working with them. I really enjoyed it and I’m glad I had the opportunity. It’s so funny to see where we started and where we are now.”

'We'll all be there!' Lance Bass confirms NSYNC reunion and vinyl album re-release

The band announced a hiatus back in 2002.
But it seems like that break is over for NSYNC, as Lance Bass recently revealed to Entertainment Tonight that the group is coming together for a reunion this year.

‘We’re doing something [special]. I don’t know if I can announce it yet,’ stated the Grammy nominated crooner, before spilling about some other big news about the band.
'We’re coming out with a really cool vinyl edition of our Christmas album because it’s coming up on the 20 years of that [1998 Home for Christmas] album,’ he gushed.

It also seems the guys are once again being recognized for their talents, with Lance stating 'we’re going to be getting our star on the [Hollywood] Walk of Fame this year at some point.’
Then he dropped the big news, affirming that 'we’ll all be there’ for the awards ceremony.

Chris Kirkpatrick reacts to Justin Timberlake’s interview with The Hollywood Reporter where Justin mentions why he left NSYNC, “I was growing out of it. I felt like I cared more about the music than some of the other people in the group. And I felt like I had other music I wanted to make and that I needed to follow my heart.”
