and breakouts

It’s 2017:

- Louis had a solo interview with Nick. To promote his single that will be on his album. With Nick. And he was the softest, sweetest, cutest and most humble version of himself. With a bit of the cheeky minx on twitter as foreplay. Tomlinshaw rise.

- Louis and Zayn are bonded in brotherly love. According to Louis, Zayn has the voice, he owns his craft, he had a smash breakout album and he is a good, occasionally misunderstood, guy. Zouis is eternally and devotedly real. This surprises no one.

- Louis is proud of Harry. He thinks he has stage presence, comes across as cool, is immensely talented in different areas and references all the amazing Dunkirk reviews with a sense of genuine love. Also, when asked about why the band was so big, he attributes it to the early years and their bond and people latching on to their commeraderie as a band. No coincidence it was a simpler time for both of them. Sniff. Larry rise. My babies. Always. Bonus for the nipple reference.

- Nouis are married. End of. Look I could go into a dissertation about Louis and Niall and what they mean to me together and apart but it would end in tears. Suffice it to say they are beautiful and poignant and real and deep and make me the happiest.

- That leaves me to Liam. I have no idea when it will happen, but please know their next public exchange will send me over the edge. If it involves Freddie and Bear consider me dead. Lilo please. Rise.

I just love how marketing for TLJ has been so heavily focused on the heroes. They really did learned their hard lesson after they placed Kylo Ren everywhere in TFA, a factor being because they thought he would be the breakout character. There are still lots of merchandise of him left in the local stores, but Rey, Finn and Poe are insanely difficult to find.

I go back & forth between “Wow, this is gonna be my year. This cross country season is finally going to be my breakout season of college running.” and “LOL, Abby you’re slow. Stop; you’ll be mediocre at best.” all the freaking time and it’s kind of exhausting.

I just refuse the TW emotional rollercoaster. Dylan being there and his words are distressing, but I agree with another nonnie, it really is over. TW is over, Maze Runner is over, and there will be other movies ahead. If it takes time to build his confidence, that's okay. TW is such small potatoes compared to the accident and his future career. I firmly believe he would have found a different breakout role. He was always going to happen. He will heal and thrive away from toxic people.

I agree.  I’ll always love Stiles, but I’m ready to love his other characters just as much. Can’t wait to see what he has in store.

It’s time to Hero Up! Join us for all-new epic adventures during the Summer of Heroes at Disney California Adventure Park. And don’t miss our awesome new attraction- Guardians of the Galaxy-Mission: BREAKOUT! The excitement begins May 27.

Oh my god, in last night’s Bob’s Burgers, Bob takes Gene to a laser light rock show at the planetarium (super important to Bob, because it was his favorite when he was a teenager, and this is the last night before they’re closing the exhibit because it’s old and no one goes anymore, also it’s Bob’s birthday), and Gene has no idea what he’s in for, but he gets pumped for it anyway ‘cause Bob’s so excited about it, and finally they get in there and they’re watching it, and Gene has a sensory overload and kinda starts freaking out ‘cause he can’t handle it, so Bob takes him out and they sit in the car for a bit.  Gene’s angry because Bob didn’t tell him it would be so loud and scary, so Bob offers to play the album for Gene at a normal volume, and Gene starts to enjoy it, so he reclines the seats, takes out the cigarette lighter, tells Gene to pretend it’s a laser, and starts drawing in the air, explaining the plot to him (it’s like a full on Pink Floyd or Rush-esque rock opera about a bunch of robot overlords telling rockers that they can’t play music anymore, and one Rebel rising against them).  Gene gets really into it and decides he wants to see the finale of the laser show (which Bob regards as a life-changing experience), so they sneak back into the planetarium (there’s no re-entry allowed) with a few tricks that parallel the story from the album, and watch the climax of the show together (Bob fashions some earplugs for Gene out of a napkin).  On the way home, Bob’s asking Gene how he liked it, and Gene says “I loved it!”, Bob asks him to speak louder ‘cause his ear’s are shot, and Gene yells, “I LOVED IT, DAD”.  Bob yells back “I love you too, Gene”.

I FUCKING!!! CAN’T!!! DEAL!!!! WITH HOW GOOD THIS SHOW IS!!! I know i don’t talk about Bob’s Burgers a lot but this show is flawless and charming and gross and funny all at the same time, the characters are written like people with actual fears and anxieties, and unlike a lot of comparable shows, the comedy doesn’t come from the family being pitted against each other, it’s always the family against the world… I love it, I love it, it’s so pure and refreshing and still somehow manages to be funny without sacrificing it’s heart, and I fuckin’ love it, please watch Bob’s Burgers holy CRAP okay I’m done.

Things I will forever hate:

Season finale cliffhanger…and than the show being canceled.

Shrinking Blonde’s Guide to Perfect Skin ✨

Quick Tips

  • Double Cleanse. If you’re especially prone to breakouts (same!) double cleansing can be the salvation you need. For those of us who choose to wear makeup, a single face wash session at the end of the night isn’t enough to totally remove every last bit of product from your face and still get deep into your pores so the cleanser can y’know clean. Wash your face once with an oil-based face wash and then once again with a regular cleanser.
    • TRY: Josie Maran Argan Oil Cleanser, Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser, Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, Bioderma Miceller Solution.
  • Carefully Exfoliate. While abrasive scrubs and exfoliates may feel like the best thing for your skin, overdoing it can lead your skin to think it’s deprived of oil and it will overproduce it leading to nasty breakouts. Chemical exfoliation is the best way to remove dead skin and increase cell turnover rate. BHA + AHA combos are easy finds at the drugstore (Pixi Glow Tonic! Just try it!) and give your skin a naturally plump, luminous feel without a harsh scrub.
    • TRY: Herbivore Blue Tansy Mask, Pixi Glow Tonic, Clinique Mild Clarifying Lotion, Clearasil Acne Treatment Pads
  • Salicylic Acid #1. Try a face cleanser for that second-round clean with salicylic acid to combat breakouts. Focus on your t-zone for a squeaky clean face. This is also the key ingredient in a ton of spot treatments.
    • TRY: Mario Badescu Acne Facial Cleanser, Boscia Clear Complexion Cleanser, Clean & Clear Continuous Control Wash
  • Don’t Forget Toner. Toner plays an absolutely crucial role in minimizing pores and smoothing your complexion. There are toners for virtually every kind of ailment out there from acne scars to dull skin, so find one that best fits your issues and apply daily. Soak a cotton pad and apply in upward strokes to your clean face.
    • TRY: Burt’s Bees Acne Solution Toner, Georgette Klinger Vitamin C Toner, Nivea Daily Refreshing Toner
  • Moisturize EVERYTHING. I cannot stress this enough. Moisturizing is everything and a key to stopping breakouts, especially in the summer. You should be applying a thicker moisturizer before bed and then a lighter one with sunscreen before putting on your makeup in the morning. Be sure to moisturize your neck too to slow the aging process. Your future self with thank you, trust me.
    • TRY: Glossier Priming Moisturizer, Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer, Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream
  • Be Forgiving. This step is crucial. When you stress over school, boys, weight, etc. all you do is cause breakouts. Try stress relieving exercises like yoga, meditation, or journaling. Practice good eating habits, get lots of sleep, and really pamper your skin. Relax, and give it all time.

When lava breaks out and starts flowing on the surface of Kilauea, this is what it looks like - real time.

to anyone who has an oily face 🌸

this is something i have learned from a facial spa, it’s an advice for anyone who has an oily skin :) there are a lot of different skin types and sometimes the oily ones are the worst, why?? because our pores are always open and it causes acne and pimples specially if it’s not treated well, an oily face is just as having a sensitive skin!! so here are tips to avoid breakouts

1. if you have oily skin, do not!! use!! moisturizer!! or any face products that contains bazillion amounts of moisturizer, because it triggers pores that are open causing to have more and more breakouts. our skin is already moisturized by the oil it produces, your face is oily because it is not dry!! therefore using moisturizer while having layers of oil on your face is definitely a big no! your pores will not be able to breathe, it will feel sticky and hot but– if it’s cold in your area, a thin layer of moisturizer might help to soothe your skin, the best i can recommend is “cetaphil” it’s the mildest and most smoothing, perfect for every skin type. u should always find the right product to stick with!!

2. air pollution and dirt is the biggest enemy, ever!! so if you are in the streets, avoid exposing your skin to the smoke of the vehicles and also don’t touch your face if your hand isn’t fully sanitized

3. if a part of your face is itchy, don’t scratch it with your nails, scratch it using the back of ur fingers instead, nails aren’t always clean and there are dirt stuck in them

4. facial cleanser are the best, it cleans inside the pores, leaving your skin a fresh and icy feeling but you don’t have to use them everyday, 3 times a week is fine, toners are also great but you have to choose them wisely since we’re talking about the skin on your face, apple cider vinegar is one of the best i can ever find to tone my skin :)

5. washing your face in the morning and at night is important for a normal skin type, but people with oily skin types should wash theirs 3 times a day, since oily faces are sticky– dirt are easy to stick, causing lots of unexpected breakouts

and that’s all! i have oily skin and kept putting moisturizers because i didn’t know what it could do to my skin plus it’s always summer in my country, i didn’t know it was the ones causing me lots of breakouts specially on the forehead and cheeks so i stopped doing that so my skin wouldn’t snap!! but now, i only use a facial cleanser and wash my face with kojic soap, it’s crazy i only get breakouts when i am on my period. that’s all! hope this will help!! 🐝 🌺

Ryan Reynolds, who is known for his savvy and humorous social media posts, took to Instagram to honor a superhero — and it wasn’t Deadpool. When the actor found out that Wonder Woman box office tally reached $368 million, surpassing Deadpool‘s domestic box office of $360 million, he posted a picture of the Merc with a Mouth making a heart shape with his hands over a Wonder Woman gold chain with the mildly crass, yet sweet caption “The Merc May Be Filthier, but Her B.O. is Stronger. Congrats #WonderWoman #BoxOfficeBoss”

The DC superhero pic starring Gal Gadot and directed by Patty Jenkins is still going strong at the box office since its June 2 release especially against the likes of Marvel/Sony juggernaut Spider-Man: Homecoming and Edgar Wright’s breakout heist pic Baby Driver. This weekend it earned $9.8 million, placing it in the number four spot in the top five. On its opening weekend it raked in $103.2 million and has since earned over $746 million worldwide, not far behind Deadpool‘s $783 million. The Warner Bros/DC movie broke records as the highest grossing live-action film directed by a woman.
