(A/N): Boys who like being the little spoon just fuck me up
Request: Can you do a Pietro x reader where after a long and hard mission the two of you are cuddling but he won’t stop squirming while you try to sleep so you ask what’s wrong and he’s really nervous and tells you he wants to be the little spoon please
Both of you were tired, exhausted really. The mission had been long and excruciating. Bruises littered both your bodies, you were both covered in multiple bandages, and you were both passed out in the Avenjet on the way home but the two of you had each other, just you and your sokovian lover, that’s all that really mattered to you. Now the two of you were curled up in bed together, trying to sleep.
You thought it would be an easy task given how tired both of you were but Pietro just wouldn’t quit squirming. He was never this antsy, especially after such a long and tiring mission. Maybe he was just trying to find a comfortable position? You knew you were constantly squirming because of that (and other reasons too. *cough cough, wink wink, nudge nudge*) perhaps Pietro was too.
You decided to ignore it for now, wait a couple of minutes until he settled back down and you could go to sleep but that time never came, he kept on squirming and squirming and squirming until you had had enough.
“Pietro,” You whisper as you look at him from over your shoulder. “What are you doing? Is everything okay?” Pietro looks rather sheepish, his pale cheeks dusted in a beautiful shade of red and had you not been so tired you would have loved to tell him how cute it was but now you were not in the mood.
“I uh- um- never mind, it’s stupid anyways,” Well now your interest had been piqued and you wanted to know exactly what he had wanted.
"No,“ You squirm in his embrace, turning to face him instead. "Tell me,”
"No, it’s stupid,“
"Come on,” you coax him, pressing a soft kiss to his lips as you do. “You can tell me, I won’t judge.” Pietro sighs, hanging his head a bit in shame.
“Promise you won’t judge me?"
"Cross my heart and hope to die,” You smile at him, hoping that it was at least somewhat reassuring. Pietro sighs again, now looking anywhere but your face; The bedding, his hands, your shirt, anything but you.
“I was wondering if maybe you'dletmebethelittlespoon?” The sentence came out so fast and so quietly you had a hard time catching on.
"What?“ You ask, brows furrowed as you try to decipher what he had said.
"See, I told you it was stupid,"
"No, that’s not it at all baby, I just can’t hear you is all, could you maybe repeat what you said for me?”
"I asked if maybeIcouldbethelittlespoon?“
"Pete, you’re really going to have to speak clearer,”
“Can I be the little spoon?” His tone was perfectly clear now and this time you did hear him.
So pietro wanted to be the little spoon? That’s why he was being so antsy and squirmy?
You can’t help the large smile that overtakes your features at his words, they were just too cute for you too handle quite honestly.
“Oh my god, that’s the cutest thing anybody’s ever asked me,” Pietro groans a bit, blushing even more than before.
"Forget I said anything,“ He grumbles as he flips onto his side, leaving his back completely bare to you. You smirk as you wrap your arms around his waist, pulling him to your body.
"My cute little spoon,” you coo as you rub your nose in his neck, unable to stop smiling.
Almost immediately Pietro relaxes against you, sighing contently as he leans back into your warmth. Not even your words could upset him now, not when he felt so safe and loved, so warm and protected. You can’t help but nuzzle into his neck, breathing in deeply as sleep finally began to eat away at your body. If you knew having Pietro be the little spoon was this comfortable then you would have been the big spoon from the start.
Harry adored his job. He really did. His work was his first love, he always said. But there were certainly days where it all got to be a little too much.
He woke up at six in the morning to be greeted by a rainy and foggy sky outside. He spent a good ten minutes gazing at the great love of his life, her hair splayed in all different directions from having forgotten to tie it up in a ponytail like she usually did. Her lips were slightly parted, and her eyes were still puffy from the night before. He exhaled a sigh at the memory of it—it was the first time they’d really fought in a little while, but it’d been a doozy. Exhaustion took it’s toll on the both of them, but they were both too stubborn to admit it. It had been over something petty that he wasn’t even angry about anymore, even though at the moment in all seemed so important. And even though they tried to never go to bed angry, their tired eyes beat out the need to make up.
He exhaled a soft sigh as he watched his love, and he could see the tension built up in her features still from last night. He didn’t want to wake her just yet, because he knew that she would not love being woken up at six in the morning if she didn’t need to get up. The two of them rarely ever got a good night’s sleep anymore, and he didn’t want to take away her rest.
He got himself out of bed and walked over to the bathroom, going about his morning routine as quietly as possible as to not wake his girls. Within half an hour he was dressed up in a pair of black jeans and one of his button-ups. Usually he wouldn’t get so dolled up to go out this early, but he had a few morning radio shows he was making a live guest appearance on and impressions mattered to him. Having decided to get breakfast on the way to work, he quickly slipped out of the house without making a sound.
Another wave on sickness rushed through Bendy as the last bit of his last meal was again rejected by his body now laying in the bucket before him which he was gripping for dear life. Tears where starting to collect them self’s at the edges on his eyes and the bitter sting left behind by the thick black liquid dripping down his chin made him want to throw up again but there was nothing to throw out anymore.
“come on Bendy big breaths” his brother said in a soft voice, gently petting his back to help him through the pulsing pain wreaking his body.
Bendy gripped the bucket a bit tighter feeling something all too familiar slowly crawl its way into his senses sticking his nerves with a fear of what’s about to come next
Boris pulled his hand back a little so it was hovering above Bendy’s back but not touching him.
A scream ripped itself from Bendy’s throat, a hot shot of crippling pain wreaking through his abandon as if his body was rejecting its own stomach. His arms shot out to his lower body gripping into his own skin so tight that if he wasn’t crippling under the pressure of his disease slowly destroying his body, he would have feared he tear open his skin.
Bendy was vaguely aware of the bucket tipping over and falling out of his lap, spilling the black stuff everywhere and leaving behind an gut wrenching sour smell.
“I’M GONNA DIE, I WANT TO DIE”
Boris quickly placed his hand back on Bendy’s lower back and let the other find its way to the others knee, little tear welled up in his eyes, not being able to bear looking at his brother in so much pain.
“n-no Bendy don’t say that be strong oke, you’ll be oke.. j-just hold on”
Another scream was forced out Bendy, still gripping into his stomach, the red hot pain ripping both his mind and will apart like it was a piece of paper.
“BROTHER I CAN’T IT’S TO MUCH I CAN’T PLEASE JUST LET IT END”
Bendy sobbed, it was too much to handle. The heat it was too much he was losing his damn mind, He couldn’t he just couldn’t.
A pair of arms wrapped themselves around Bendy’s shoulders, pulling him quickly but gently against Boris chest that was shacking from the sobs and hiccups going through him.
“please it’ll be oke brother just don’t lose hope please”
Boris held Bendy closer to himself like his was trying to squeeze away the illness that was wreaking his brother.
Bendy breathing picked up some more, swallowing big gulps of air like he never had taken a breath in his life. trying to shut it out the feeling of his nerves burning and screaming out in bloody murder. Trying to push through and passed the crippling hot pain and the feeling his lungs where getting skinned alive.
If not for himself he was trying for somebody who still needed him, the person he cared about most in the world, “for Boris” he told himself .
Slowly ever so slowly relaxed even if it was just a tiny bit, the pain died down enough for him to regular his breathing and lean against Boris, too exhausted to move.
Boris squeezed Bendy a little closer to him, tears now freely going down his face.
“it’ll always be oke, I know you’re strong enough Bendy”
A little smile showed itself on Bendy’s lips when Boris started wiggling his tail happily, glad that his brother was more or less oke now.
“I’m not strong” Bendy said with a weak voice that was still tuckered out from all that screaming. “you’re the only reason I keep fighting Boris” he said with a soft sigh, now relaxing fulling against the other, leaning his head against Boris chest.
you probaly get a fuck ton of these already but meh i thought you might like this one
(sorry i’m a shitty writer)
anyhow this is based on that little comic when bendy was pretty much dying but not quite
It’s an experiment in limitations, unofficially titled how drunk is too drunk for a person who doesn’t do the drunk thing. The mistake had been in thinking that a few extra drinks would do nothing more than loosen a few of Neil’s strings. Andrew had forgotten to consider the unfortunate side effect, that alcohol amplifies natural tendencies, and so as soon as Neil hits one too many, he takes the opportunity to thoroughly roast all of his teammates (with the exception of Andrew, who spends the evening braced for it anyway).
The non-monsters plus Nicky (and baby Foxes, whose existence Andrew ignores on principal) only egg him on, while Neil remains oblivious to the fact that they’re exceedingly entertained and not mortally wounded, like he intends. It’s a mess that Andrew watches silently from the kitchen, carefully nursing his own drink, while making sure Neil doesn’t do or say anything irreversibly stupid, or there would be additional messes for Andrew to clean in the morning.
It’s all well and good, fun and games, no one quite loses an eye, but Neil trips over a chair leg on his merry way to assault Kevin and goes sprawling on the carpet instead, amid a laughing (but concerned) chorus of fellow drunkards.
Neil rolls onto his back and claps a hand to his forehead, even though it was not his head that he hit, but most everything else.
Relinquishing the stormy hold he has on the empty kitchen, Andrew crosses the living room to loom over Neil, unimpressed and ignoring the triumphant cheers and disappointed groans as money exchanges hands behind them. (The game: how badly will Neil’s first drunken adventure end? Provide examples. Nicky whines, “Twenty bucks on Kevin bitch slapping him. So close. Damn chair. You rigged it, Allison, you put that there.” She did not.)
Neil looks up at him through his fingers and with unfocused eyes, but he smiles brilliantly. Andrew considers wiping it off of his face with his foot, but then Neil says, practically sings, “Andrew.”
Curious about auras? This article will hopefully explain the specifics of this peculiar phenomenon.
What’s an aura, anyways?
The term aura refers to an individual’s subtle energetic emanations. Auras aren’t visible to everyone, but plenty of people see them. They appear as a sphere of light or color around the body.
The color, size, brightness, and other features of the aura depend on the nature of the person it belongs to. These things can vary based on mood. They can also relate to metabolic factors, magical activity, and many other things.
Many New Age writers say that the aura is energy in the scientific sense. This is a common misconception. No physicist has ever measured anything resembling auras as they’re commonly understood.
A few days ago, someone told me that they believed the aura was a human’s magnetic field. This isn’t true. The magnetic field of a human doesn’t act like an aura. It doesn’t change based on emotions or other things like that.
Others say it is something electrical, or related to quantum mechanics. The truth of the matter is that science can’t (yet) measure the aura in any way. Many are skeptical about its existence for this reason.
Still, many, many people have seen auras throughout history. To me, it’s a real phenomenon. Science may not understand it yet, but, for me, it’s real!
The energy that extends beyond our physical bodies is called the aura. The word “aura” is derived from Latin aere, meaning “air” or “gentle breeze.” The American Heritage Dictionary defines the aura as “an invisible breath, emanation, or radiation.” In metaphysics, the aura is seen as the human energy field, that portion of the subtle body that radiates out beyond the limits of the physical body.

Some gifted people see auras without trying. Also, many children see auras in early childhood. Often, this ability, if not cultivated, disappears as they grow up. Many magicians and witches develop the ability to see auras.
This involves a great deal of practice and effort. It’s worthwhile, but everyone is different. Not everyone will have the same aptitude to see auras. Some people can see only a little bit of the aura, like a vague mist. Others see brighter colors and light.
Everyone’s aura is different, too! Most witches and psychics believe this extends only few feet from the body. Size can and does vary, though. Some people may have an aura of only several inches.
Others might have a very large aura. Size, color, brightness, and other features change throughout a person’s life. If you see a person’s aura at one point, expect it to change within hours, if not minutes. This reflects how dynamic people can be.
Auras in History
People have observed and recorded auras throughout time. It appears in many pieces of religious and spiritual artwork. Historically, auras are usually shown emanating from the body of holy men and women.
Christian artists often depict them surrounding saints. They appear in other cultures, as well. Medieval authors referred to the light surround a person’s head as the “aureole”. They called light around the body the “nimbus.“ These authors called the whole aura the “glory.”
In Scrying for Beginners, Donald Tyson writes about the auras shape in artwork. While many modern seers refer to the aura as a sphere, the ancients saw it differently. They believed that saints emanated two spheres that overlapped.
The glory is sometimes depicted in religious art as the vesica or vesica piscis, a lens-shaped figure formed by the overlap of two equal circles that pass through each other at their centers. Christ, the Virgin Mary, and other saints are often painted within this pointed oval, which is also called a mandorla (from the Italian word for "almond”).

During the occult revival of the late 19th and early 20th century, many people wrote about the aura. Theosophists and other occultists developed complex systems for understanding it.
Madame Blavatsky and Walter Kilner believed there were distinct layers to the aura. They named them and sought to understand them.
As science merged with occultism, seers began to look for ways to measure the aura. There have been plenty of attempts. None were particularly fruitful.
Of note is “Kirlian Photography.” Symon and Valentina Kirlian developed this practice in 1940s Russia. It involves sending an electrical current through the individual.
A photographic plate records the resulting discharge. Later scientists argued that the image was more mundane. They believed the interaction of this electric field and ambient moisture caused it.
Today, most people seem to agree with that sentiment. Kirlian images recorded don’t behave in a manner consistent with how seers perceive the aura. For example, Kirlian images rarely change based on state of mind.
Despite many attempts, science still doesn’t understand the aura! For that reason, most people relegate it to the realm of metaphysics and occultism. I don’t have a problem with that.
I am supportive of science, but acknowledge that not everything is currently known. As a witch, I do believe in magick, for example. Magick itself isn’t understood or measurable by science. The aura isn’t, but I still find the concept useful.
Seeing the Aura
Over time, it has been evident that people can develop aura sight. I myself saw auras occasionally as a child. I did not have further experiences with this until I began studying magick, though. I don’t consider myself to have natural aura vision.
Still, I see auras in certain circumstances these days. It’s something I practiced and developed. While not everyone can develop this ability, most people can! The level of detail you see will vary, but why not try?
Now, I’ll give you my own method for inducing aura vision. It may or may not work for you. I have read that many other people found these techniques helpful, though.
It is best to begin by looking for your own aura. Some people do begin by working with a partner, though. For me, aura vision comes best when I’m a bit sleepy. I don’t have the focus for it when I’m completely exhausted, but a little sleepiness works well.
I’ve found that auras are easiest to see in a dim environment without bright artificial lights. Natural light in the early morning or evening works best for me. While some folks say candlelight works, I find that the flickering distracts me.
Some herbs and incense can help with aura sight. Herbal blends designed for psychic enhancement have worked well for me in the past.
My favorite herb for inducing aura vision is mugwort. It is good for other magical purposes, as well. Do some research and be careful if you decide to try it, of course. Not everyone reacts well to herbs.
Begin by focusing your vision on the edges of the body. This is regardless of whether you’re working by yourself or with someone else.
With other people, I like to fix my vision above the top of the head. When looking for my own aura, I extend my hand flat and at an angle. Then, I gaze above my palm.
This is tricky, though. It takes a lot of practice. It works best for me if I look at the space close to the body, and try to ignore the body itself. It’s difficult, though. We’re used to looking directly at objects, not the area around them.
I would suggest not wearing very bright clothing when attempting this. That can be distracting. It’s also good to do this against a blank, uncolored surface, like a white wall.
The aura will usually appear first as a light shimmering in the air. This may have a wispy mist-like appearance. It usually begins with a grayish color. Once you can see this, focus on it, and not the object.
When you can see the aura very close to the body, begin to glance around that area. After a time, you will be able to see a larger, more diffuse part.
While many people can see auras, not everyone can see aura colors. This is especially true for beginners. For those that don’t see colors, the aura appears as that shifting, shimmering mist.
If color does appear in the aura, focus on the color. It may seem to grow brighter and brighter. Most seers agree that the colors correspond to the nature of the person at that specific time.
Some books will list “color meanings” for the aura. My view is a bit different. Aura colors do have meaning, but, to me, a given color’s meaning depends on the seer.
If you associate yellow with happiness, seeing a yellow aura would show that the subject is happy. We don’t all process color the same way! We tend to absorb cultural associations for certain colors. Still, everyone has a different view. Keep this in mind when reading the aura!
I hope this article provides a good beginning for potential aura seers! Developing aura vision is fun and exciting. You can learn about a person (and how to connect with them!) by examining their aura.
It can also be helpful for witches and magicians. It’s a good first step to seeing all kinds of subtle forces. If you can see them, it’s easier to connect with them! Anyways, I hope you’re all having a great day. May your magick be glorious!
tired+soft klance catching some quiet between adventures:
after missions when they’re still in their armor, lance will walk up to keith and quick lay his head in the crook of keith’s neck, just to say he’s okay. he’s still here.
“keith wanna go on a date?”
“what? dude we’re not even out of our armor.”
“well that’s good bc we’re sure as heck gonna need it.” and lance tugs keith through airlock and out into the soothing silence of space
and they anchor themselves to the hull of the ship and watch the stars float by.
taking a bath together after a tough fight and falling asleep in the warm water with the smell of ocean and rain and flowers fogging up the mirrors
no but they fall asleep together everywhere. shiro starts stashing emergency Keith and Lance Are Gay and Tired blankets all over the castle for his little bros
when one is too exhausted to take his armor off the other will help, unbuckling pieces and giggling when they get stuck trying to strip off the black undershirt
“my head’s stuck”
“umm…yeah, I don’t know how to fix this babe.”
“help me, lance” and lance peels up the hem and keith’s face pokes out w his hair flying everywhere and lance kisses him on the nose
“allura says we have to go in 5. I…thought I’d find you here,” keith says, sitting next to lance. he’s studying coran’s star map, in the spot where he saved coran’s life. in the spot where keith almost lost lance.
a little star travels past lance’s face. “is it possible to miss someone you’re always with?”
keith sighs, thinking of the fleeting moments the two of them have together. those moments may be brief, but they’re theirs.
“yeah,” is all he says, and lets the galaxies swirl and tumble overhead, and rests his head on lance’s shoulder
Things that shouldn’t happen in a theoretical Animorphs netflix series, but probably would anyway
Hey since apparently I’m sdkfldkjf in this fandom now or something have a non-exhaustive list of things I think a director/screenwriter would stick into an Animorphs netflix series that they absolutely shouldn’t but would for the drama™ of it all
1. Berenson Brawl
Oh my god a Rachel vs Jake all out scrap. In the book it never happens except in Rachel’s fever dream. As much as she sometimes chafes against his leadership and the continual narrative suggestion that there’s a simmering desire to challenge him, having them actually fight to be in charge would be a huge disservice to both their characters as well as their relationship. Rachel and Jake have such a solid thing in which they know exactly their roles and how to work with one another, how to be each other’s anchor, leash-holder, or executioner if they get out of line. Having them brawl for leadership would be terrible, but oh my god it would 100% happen in a netflix adaptation. how could it not? there’d be so many on screen arguments, so many instances of Jake pulling Rachel back, that it would just have to culminate into a super-dramatic, brutal, tiger v.s grizzly bear beatdown that takes up like 20 minutes of the episode and has like 3 scene changes as they crash through buildings, trees, etc.
That said, holy fuck god i would be so into it. Like it’s terrible of me but the second the fight started I’d have to pause to go pop some popcorn and pour myself a glass of wine and get hyped and then settle in for the fucking show.
2. Traitor Tobias
In Back to Before, Tobias gets Yeerked but mostly does not get his brain-controlled self up in anyone else’s business before having his head shot off. That absolutely would not fly in a netflix adaptation. There would 100% be a confrontation between Yeerk!Tobias and Rachel, and it would be tragic, and Yeerk!Tobias would probably be threatening her with a weapon to the temple, and then they’d look into each other’s eyes or some shit, and there’d be this moment of recognition…before someone, probably Ax or Marco, ices Tobias from behind. He collapses and Rachel catches him automatically, holds him in her arms and stares into his empty eyes, not understanding where this profound pain is coming from…
I would be full out weeping. still drinking wine, but also weeping.
If you think we’re getting an adaptation involving spying, subterfuge, and teenagers, and not have one of them have to seduce a potential high ranking Yeerk controller who’s attending their school, you do not understand what old men in media think teenage audiences want to see. Someone’s going to a fancy restaurant with a potential enemy while everyone else hides in ridiculous outfits.
I would find this acceptable so long as the one on the date is Jake.
3. High School
Seriously, half the time in the books you forget they were somehow attending school. In a netflix series there would be recurring side characters, and ridiculous club responsibilities that people got sucked into, and the occasional episode climax that takes place at a school football game or pep rally for some reason. it’s the 90s. own the aesthetic.
actually I’d legitimately really be into a slightly more expansive social world for the characters. like show Jake and Rachel and Marco shifting away from their friend groups, even though they’re trying to keep up appearances. have minor characters that notice that there’s something drastically different about their friends.
4. Pair the Spares
It’s unavoidable that whenever Jake/Cassie and Rachel/Tobias get affectionate in the same scene, the camera’s going to pan to Marco and Ax standing awkwardly next to each other. Probably, they’d play it up for laughs. But I’m pretty down for out and undeniably bi Marco completely sincerely making passes at Ax whenever the rest of the team starts pairing up. And Ax just ???????? not understanding human courtship rituals.
It toes a precarious queerbaiting line but so long as it’s completely clear that Marco is actually bi I’m good with a recurring joke of anytime the established couples get mushy, Marco starts wiggling his eyebrows at Ax
the first time even draws sana a comic, it’s when she looks stressed. she’s over studying with isak and isak is trying to patiently explain one of the questions to her, but eventually isak decides they need to take a break and he heads to the restroom. even drops the comic onto the textbook she’s glaring at. it’s of a cat ripping a biology textbook in half and yelling, “screw your logic, i do have nine lives!” sana looks up at him and is surprised, but the small smile that graces her lips is touched.
the second time even draws sana a comic, it’s when she looks sad. the girls and boys are over at isak and even’s apartment and they’re having a small pregame, and sana’s been staring at her phone for a while now and she looks a little emotionally exhausted, and she keeps glaring at the drink that’s been set in front of her mindlessly, and so even busies himself with a pen and a napkin and then drops it onto sana’s lap before sitting next to her. it’s of a cat drinking milk and knocking a beer bottle off the table, where it falls and hits the head of another passing cat. sana looks over at him and smiles at even crookedly.
the third time even draws sana a comic, it’s when she looks angry. she’s talking heatedly to the girls in the hallways and then storms off, presumably to biology, which even only knows she has next because of isak. even quickly draws something on his notebook paper and casually makes inside the empty classroom, save for sana, and drops the paper on her desk. it’s of a cat with steam coming out of its ears and another cat frantically trying to blow it away. sana’s expression dissolves into an exasperated one, then she laughs, a little quietly. even doesn’t miss the way her shoulders slump.
the fourth time even draws sana a comic, it’s when she looks scared. she’s making her way off the tram when even’s waiting for his own, and she looks shaken and lost. behind her walks an older man, maybe in his sixties, angry-looking and glaring at her back, but he walks the other way. even narrows his eyes and makes his way over to her and asks if she’s okay. sana’s good at composing herself, even will give her that, and she tells him she’s fine. even offers to walk her home, and sana lets him; the next day, even slips a comic into her locker. it’s of a cat that looks like its alone in a dark room, scared and confused. in the next frame, a couple of cats have turned on the light, revealing that the cat has been surrounded by friends all along.
the fifth time, sana draws even a comic. he’s just said goodbye to isak and he’s on his way out of the school to wait for him to finish his last class when sana stops him. she looks happier than usual, brighter. she hands even a folded paper and then rolls her eyes and even’s confused expression. “just take it,” she presses, and so even does. “open it when i’m gone,” sana warns, and then she leaves, and so even opens it.
it’s clumsily drawn, not at all at the level even draws, but it’s clearly of a cat filming a couple of other cats roughhousing. there’s only one that’s colored in – a yellow one – and underneath it, the words “they miss you, too” are printed neatly.
