an honest puck

Week Week Winds to a Close. Thank you all, and Goodnight.

If we shadows have offended,

 Think but this, and all is mended—

 That you have but slumbered here

 While these visions did appear.

 And this weak and idle theme,

 No more yielding but a dream,

 Gentles, do not reprehend.

 If you pardon, we will mend.

 And, as I am an honest Puck,

 If we have unearnèd luck

 Now to ’scape the serpent’s tongue,

 We will make amends ere long.

 Else the Puck a liar call.

 So good night unto you all.

Give me your hands, if we be friends.

Shakespeare Sunday

“If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended,
That you have but slumber’d here
While these visions did appear.
And this weak and idle theme,
No more yielding but a dream,
Gentles, do not reprehend:
If you pardon, we will mend:
And, as I am an honest Puck,
If we have unearned luck
Now to ‘scape the serpent’s tongue,
We will make amends ere long;
Else the Puck a liar call;
So, good night unto you all.
Give me your hands, if we be friends,
And Robin shall restore amends.”

- William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night’s Dream

I  am off to soul search and  contemplate how I will get through 2017, if I can't go 3 days without snark.

“If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended,
That you have but slumbered here
While these visions did appear.
And this weak and idle theme,
No more yielding but a dream,
Gentles, do not reprehend:
If you pardon, we will mend:
And, as I am an honest Puck,
If we have unearned luck
Now to ‘scape the serpent’s tongue,
We will make amends ere long;
Else the Puck a liar call;
So, good night unto you all.
Give me your hands, if we be friends,
And Robin shall restore amends.”

An Honest Puck (2/2)

AN:  Another shorty smutty prompt.  For Marque, who finished her work.  She prompted, ’Imp!Rum spies Belle in her bedroom, touching herself as a result of one of the books she mysteriously received from him.’  Rumplestiltskin’s not the only one with fantasies…

It was getting harder and harder to stay in denial.

As with any Fae, Rumplestiltskin was a master at justification.  However, his fascination with Belle was becoming more and more of a distraction.  He hadn’t played a decent trick in weeks, too busy spinning golden gifts for his lady, watching her as she walked along the grounds of her father’s manor, taking note of which books were her favorites.  Even Bae, his son whose attention span was short and followed whatever whim took him, had noticed and asked why Rumplestiltskin was acting so peculiar.

But Rumplestiltskin couldn’t reply, because he didn’t know himself.

Telling Baelfire or even thinking about the problem too long would make it far more real a threat.  So Rumplestiltskin decided not to dwell on the matter and continue to do as he pleased.  And right now, at this very moment, he wished to go to her bedroom and leave her new gifts.

An Honest Puck!Belle, since you've met your secret admirer do you want to get to know him despite what he is and what he looks like?

I’m not sure what he is, aside from being of the Fair Folk.  And he is…strange-looking but…I’ve never seen anything like him.  I want to know him.  I want to thank him properly for saving me.

He’s just–enchanting.  He’s enchanting.
