an actual option

I’M NOT CURIOUS ENOUGH TO CLICK IT, BUT I AM CURIOUS WHAT IT ACTUALLY MEANS. THE OPTIONS INCLUDE:

1) BEING GIVEN IT BY WEALTHY RELATIVES.

2) DELIBERATELY BANKRUPTING MY OWN BUSINESS FOR PROFIT.

3) RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT ON A NAKEDLY INCOMPETENT AND HATEFUL PLATFORM WHILE TRUSTING A NEO-NAZI WITH MY LIFE.

4) NOT SO MUCH “MAKING” IT AS “REFUSING TO PAY IT IN TAXES”.

5) STARTING MY SECOND PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN BEFORE I’VE EVEN DEMONSTRABLY STARTED MY FIRST TERM.

6) SUSPECTED TREASON.

7) “DONATIONS” FROM WEALTHY DOUCHEBAGS LOOKING TO BE PUT IN CHARGE OF WHICHEVER DEPARTMENT THEY HAVE A RIDICULOUS, IRRATIONAL HATE-ON FOR.

8) PROTECTION MONEY FROM PEOPLE NOT WANTING TO BE ATTACKED BY THE HIDEOUS ABOMINATION I PASS OFF AS HAIR.

wait a second.....

Based off what we saw in episode 12, I believed that Victor had only just started thinking of returning to the ice as an actual option after Yuuri had mentioned it at the hotel.

I thought that Yuuri had put the idea in his head, and he had been sitting on it those past few days. But based off the timeline of the figure skating season, I think he’s been thinking about this for quite a while.

The GPF happens around December 9-12 and the Russian Nationals are somewhere between December 20-26 (if I’m not mistaken). With this timeline, Victor would have about a week to somehow prepare and perfect 2–not only presentable, but comeback-worthy–programs. Given that this is actually impossible, I feel like Victor had been considering this for months at that point, creating his programs whenever he had time when not coaching. (Don’t forget that he has music composed specifically for his programs that fit perfectly to the skating, which would take quite a while to get done and so would designing his extremely well thought out and extravagant costumes). Returning to the ice was no spur of the moment decision, but something Victor has wanted for a long ass time, but he didn’t do it because of Yuuri.

He didn’t want to leave Yuuri’s side and Victor hadn’t considered doing BOTH at once until after Yuuri had asked him to stay on as his coach for the following season (probably because it’s as absolutely insane as it sounds)

So he gave himself an ultimatum and when given the choice he picked Yuuri over skating. He gave up the only constant reassurace he had in his life for the man he loves with his entire heart. Not only until Yuuri said he actually wanted Victor to return did he actually plan on following through. Now if THAT. AINT. LOVE. then I don’t know what the fuck is

a concept: rory, as a person who openly supported the right to choose in the original show, now chooses not to follow through with an unwanted pregnancy. there is no drama. no “who’s the daddy?” “do I tell logan?” “omg logan is christopher #2”. i can still sleep at night. the end.

Press X to Hug Nick and remind him he is loved.

Part of my ‘Because Bethesda Won’t Code Hugs’ series. I’ve drawn Nick getting hugged before but dammit he’s my fav character and he deserves them. More hugs here and here.

Because Yakov was there by chance, it could look like Victor was just trying to find someone to help Yuri in his absense —like Victor needed a temporary coach and Yakov just happened to be there, so he asked him. But, you know? I’m convinced that Yakov is the only one person Victor would ask this to.

Just look at Victor’s expression. He is clearly struggling between returning to see his beloved pet (who is sick and definitely needs him) and staying to stand by Yuri (who, even if he says he will be okay by himself, had a breakdown in the last competition right before his FS —a breakdown that of course he overcame at the end, with Victor by his side).

At the end, Victor probably realized that Yuri was right, he needed to return to Japan, he was more needed there at the moment. But he still needed to be sure that Yuri was safe, and there is where Yakov enters. Because Yakov is the perfect option. Yakov is the only option, actually. And why is that?

“You’re the only coach to me”. Those aren’t simple words of praising. Remember that Yakov is Victor’s former coach, and even if they’re not in the best terms right now, Victor respects Yakov as his own coach, as the man who guided him to be the russian legend. Victor knows Yakov and his experience, and more important, he knows that behind all his rudeness he’s still a good person, worried because he thought Victor was making a mistake by leaving his skating career and going to coach Yuri just like that, without really explaining himself. Yakov is really the only coach to Victor, not anyone else.

Victor wouldn’t trust Yuri to someone who he doesn’t believe in. He wouldn’t trust Yuri to someone who could hurt him in any way.

So, Victor trusted Yuri —his beloved, precious, strong Yuri— to Yakov. Just like, in the past, Victor trusted himself to him.

If there are an uneven amount of rookies then one of them would not have a roommate and let’s say a call up happened, they’d room with the extra rookie.

tavpdfw the insecurity just Hits in massive waves and you’re torn between never talking to anyone ever again bc Ofc they must hate you anyways and probably wouldn’t care if you disappeared, and repeatedly asking “hey you don’t hate me right” “hi do you care about me” “am I annoying” over and over again for Validation™

Now having gotten all my judgements out of the way I’ll say this again like I said in my tags:

I knew they’d find a way to show us she is there. They didn’t have to and we could have never known for sure. But they purposely put her in the snaps and they 100% know what they are doing.

Alright! So the next step is complete! We got the black resin in, but it’s a little tricky to work with. A couple of demo prints resulted in just as many print errors, including the first attempt at the ring that, along with a couple other parts that were printing at the time, ultimately turned the resin tank into a shallow vat of black sludge.

ANYWAY! This ring that I’m wearing now is actually the first successful print that we were able to make! There are some issues with striation because it needed to be oriented with a tilt in order to print, but that’s nothing that can’t ultimately be sanded and buffed away with the next stage, which is getting a glossy finish on it.

What you see in the second picture is just a photoshop I did to give you an idea of what the ring will eventually look like.  As far as the paw print is concerned, there are a couple of options to actually get it on there. One is just printing out a paw print stamp and using it with some green paint before somehow sealing it. The second option is a little more involved, but also coincides with what will eventually be an attempt to print the ring in ABS plastic. This will be faster, and potentially have even better resolution, but I can also leave a cutout in the face of the ring, print a positive of the pawprint in green ABS, and glue it into the cutout. There are a lot of pawsibilities, but another step has been taken towards putting these things into production so you lovelies can get your hands on them!
