The Signs as Emotions People Feel But Can’t Explain
  • Aries: "Kuebiko - A state of exhaustion inspired by acts of senseless violence." Aries that are provoked by the smallest things if it’s about something they believe in, that will do anything and everything to fight for what’s right, that will exhaust their physical and mental energy for anything and everything they deem precious to them.
  • Taurus: "Chrysalism - The amniotic tranquility of being indoors during a thunderstorm." Taurians that can fall asleep to the sound of light rain and yet be most productive to dark clouds and thunder and heavy rainfall, that feel most relaxed seeing raindrops against windowpanes and the ground.
  • Gemini: "Sonder - The realization that each passerby has a life as vivid and complex as your own." Geminis that can go throughout their day without thinking twice about the person next to them, but can meet eyes with a stranger and imagine, without even trying, their entire lives, from the glaringly obvious to the most miniscule details.
  • Cancer: "Liberosis - The desire to care less about things." Cancers that wear their hearts and their innermost emotions on their sleeves, that care about everyone they meet even when they don’t want to; the sheer amount of emotion they have may overwhelm them and even when they say they don’t care, some part of them still does.
  • Leo: "Anecdoche - A conversation in which everyone is talking, but nobody is listening" Leos that speak because they have so much on their mind, that want to get everything out and want people to listen, that hear other people but are already itching to speak, and they’re already thinking of what to say next even as they speak.
  • Virgo: "Énouement -The bittersweetness of having arrived in the future, seeing how things turn out, but not being able to tell your past self" Virgos that rush through life to get to the next stage, to get better, that eventually reach their goal and realize that this isn’t even what they wanted in the first place, and now all they want is to slow down, to start over and think less, enjoy more, live with no regrets.
  • Libra: "Occhiolism - The awareness of the smallness of your perspective." Libras that can be in the center of a crowd, can be in the middle of a conversation and suddenly shut down mentally because they’ve just realized something huge, that will listen to someone else speak even while their minds are racing, already on the way to stumbling across some profound discovery.
  • Scorpio: "Adronitis - Frustration with how long it takes to get to know someone." Scorpios that love knowing people because they want to be needed, that want all of a person for themselves even if they don’t recognize it yet, that hate seeing someone being more friendly with someone else because that person is theirs, even if they don’t know it yet.
  • Sagittarius: "Onism - The frustration of being stuck in just one body, that inhabits only one place at a time." Sagittarians that want to see and feel and do and experience everything all at once, that freeze when they realize they can’t; the rhythm of life and the earth is in their blood and wanderlust is almost overpowering at times and they hate not being able to give into it.
  • Capricorn: "Ellipsism - A sadness that you’ll never be able to know how history will turn out." Capricorns that want to know as much as they can, that can place logic and reason and realism over emotion, that rationalize their emotions without thinking, and end up strangely saddened when they realize there is no answer.
  • Aquarius: "Vemödalen - The frustration of photographic something amazing when thousands of identical photos already exist." Aquarians that work hard because they want to be better than they already are, than what someone else can do, that can spend hours and days perfecting something they enjoy just to get that much better.
  • Pisces: "Exulansis - The tendency to give up trying to talk about an experience because people are unable to relate to it." Pisceans that can have whole worlds inside their heads, that can never explain things correctly because the right word just isn’t there, that know the words and can’t put them together because nothing sounds just right, that have been to places and seen things and done things and can’t share their experiences because words just aren’t enough.

Amniotic sac is a bag of clear, pale fluid inside the womb where the fetus develops and grows. The fluid helps to cushion the baby and provide it with fluids it can breathe and swallow. In most cases, the amniotic sac breaks on its own during birth, which is commonly referred to as a mother’s “water breaking.” However, this video shows baby in amniotic sac after a C-section.

“Listen,” I say, moving as close as I dare. She lifts her reddened eyes to mine, defeat plain on her face. “I can help. I - I want to help. Please let me help you, okay? You’re not alone, not anymore.” Relief flows through me when she nods.

I’m freaking out so much I can barely breathe. The beautiful meal Peeta prepared sits like a rock in my gut, threatening to make a reappearance. This isn’t supposed to be happening. The books I read at the Seam library said my baby wasn’t due until the end of January. I was supposed to have time!

And now I’m standing in a stranger’s bathroom, soaked with amniotic fluid and shame. Terrified.

Though he doesn’t feel like a stranger. Not anymore.

Three hundred millenia passion and war of Archosaur and Synapsid, and the great dynasty of the amniote, will too come to ruin. Three hundred million years after The Age of the Avian the mudsharks crawled their bellies onto dry land and inherited the world.

The beasts of the new era is as “shark” as we bird and men are but lungfish in the mud. The final lords of the land, The Great Brnnvnnellakkak, have inteliigence far beyond our own. They see in color far into the ultraviolet and the infared, they speak words beyond our ears in the infrasound waves from their feet. Their proboscis is filled with millions of electroreceptors, used to relay their own feelings without the guesswork of primitive empathy.

The Brnnvnnellakkak believe life is but a test of God. The goal is to escape, not just of the Earth but beyond that. The universe is but an finite blot, a fleeting moment to the creator and a brief moment without vast loneliness. All universes, aware and suffering through the life that gives them a way to self introspect, are doomed to die, and the Brnnvnnellakkak are set to break the cycle of one trillion deaths.

The Brnnvnnellakkak might be right, but they might be like us and all species who’s end goal is to run from extinction as far as they can muster.

Request: Please can you do one where something happens that upsets both Y/N and Conor so the rest of the boys comfort them??

Warning! If you’re sensitive to miscarriages and death, I would suggest not reading this!

You woke up to the rhythmic and annoying sound of your heart monitor. You had been in and out of the hospital for a while now and you current stay was your longest. You had been in for two weeks on the maternity ward as you were 17 weeks pregnant but you were bleeding a lot.

Your boyfriend, Conor had been spending day and night with you but last night, your nurse had forbidden him from staying. Patients had come and gone but you were still stuck there.

Miracle baby born still inside its amniotic sac

The tiny baby was born 26 weeks prematurely, with its placenta and umbilical cord still inside the bag of fluid. He had to be removed by a caesarean.

In Video, child was yawning inside his amniotic sac, before being freed by a doctor. He can even be seen wriggling around and moving his arms. A doctor can later be seen snipping the amniotic sac open. As the baby comes out he gives a little cry as he takes his first breath.

Hey, in case you don’t know what life was like for American women before Roe V. Wade made legal abortion, HAVE I GOT A STORY FOR YOU

(TW: everything. if you have a weak stomach, turn back now)

If case you don’t know, I’ve spent that last year or so learning as much as I can about the amazing, fascinating history of my hometown of Tampa. One of my favorite characters that I’ve found is Dr. Hiram J. Hampton.

He was a popular and well-respected (if somewhat flamboyant) doctor who founded Tampa’s first proper surgical hospital. In 1905, he was charged with malpractice when a woman experiencing some sort of uterine trauma came to him for help. Her husband had performed an abortion on her, which, at the time, involved sticking something sharp, usually a wire hanger, a knitting needle, or broken bottle, into the cervix and puncturing the amniotic sac, which causes spontaneous abortion.

Dr. Hampton went in to operate on this woman, and he saw something poking out of her cervix. Assuming it was the aborted fetus, he went to pull it out. But it wasn’t the fetus. It was her intestines. He pulled several feet of her intestines out through her vagina, and she died as a result.

THIS. SHIT. WAS. FUCKING. COMMON.

When abortion isn’t safe, legal, affordable, and available, women die.
