IMPORTANT WE NEED CELETES REACTION TO A LITTLE GIRL WALKING BY WITH HER MOM AND THE GIRL SEES HER AND TELLS HER MOM TO LOOK AT THE PRINCESS AND POINTS TO CELESTE. WE NEED IT

As someone who dresses in lolita occasionally, I freaking loved this prompt and wrote this based off an experience I had lol Also, quick note, did you know the lolita brand Baby, The Stars Shine Bright made Celesta’s dress and it cost 600 dollars?? Like what the hell lol Anyway, I hope you like it!! -Captainbatbrain

“And I need tea.” Celestia Ludenberg ordered, or as close as you can order while still being polite enough for someone to do as you ask without getting paid excessively for it. The thought of getting a butler or errand boy of sorts passed her mind, but without the castle on the mountain, the idea seemed silly.

“Anything else ma’am?” The employee at the grocery store seemed annoyed, and rightful so. The lolita had told him she was having trouble finding certain objects which eventually lead to him grabbing everything for her, holding the basket and listening to her demands while she walked behind him, listing everything.

“I guess so…” Celestia replied, glancing at the basket in the employee’s hands, looking over his work. “Can you take it to the register for me? With everything inside of it, it would be too heavy for me to hold.” She gave a smile between charming and menacing and the employee trotted to the register without another argument. As Celestia turned to follow, she was met with a mother holding the hand of a little girl, the mothers eyes scanning isles for a specific brand of coffee while the little girls eyes where wide, staring at the Hopes Peak student in wonder.

“Mama!” The girl cried out. “Look, Mama! A princess!”

Celestia had been dressing in lolita garb for quite some time now and as someone who did, she was met with all sorts of questions, exclamations and jeers. She had been called a princess once or twice but it never changed the feeling of pride and humility. She smiled and unlike her usual smile, it was kind and warm. “Mama!!” The little girl cried out and wiggled her hand out of her mom’s grasp and ran towards the object of her attention. Her mom finally raised her head and glanced in their direction in utter disbelief. Seeing a girl dressed like this in a place so mundane…

The girl stood right in front of Celestia and glanced up, a look of clear admiration. A small hand grabbed hers and she pulled Celestia towards her mother, bouncing up and down crying out, “Mama!! A princess Look, Look! A princess!!”

“I’m so sorry.” The mother looked mortified as she tried to pull her child away from the teen.

“No, it’s quite alright.” The smile Celestia gave assured her and the mother calmed quickly. The small girl touched the hem of the lolita’s dress, looking at the details and despite the dress being 60,000 yen, Celestia didn’t stop her.

“Could we maybe get a photo?”

“Of course!”

The little girl was excited as Celestia posed regally next to her. The mother pulled out her phone and told the girl to smile and in a flash of light, the moment was saved in a stranger’s phone. The little girl said good bye and the mother continued shopping. Celestia watched them walk away, waving as elegantly as she could and once they turned the corner, she felt warmth in her chest. Winning every game she’d ever played felt good, but being called a princess would always leave her over the moon.
