The Last Unicorn
Jimmy Webb ( sung by America )
The Last Unicorn

When the last eagle flies over the last crumbling mountain
And the last lion roars at the last dusty fountain
In the shadow of the forest though she may be old and worn
They will stare unbelieving at the last unicorn

When the first breath of winter through the flowers is icing
And you look to the north and a pale moon is rising
And it seems like all is dying and would leave the world to mourn
In the distance hear the laughter of the last unicorn

I’m alive, I’m alive

When the last moon is cast over the last star of morning
And the future has passed without even a last desperate warning
Then look into the sky where through the clouds a path is torn
Look and see her how she sparkles, it’s the last unicorn

I’m alive, I’m alive

“Where are we going?”
”The future.”

Ok, people, it will take a while before I post anything new, so, please, consider this quick celebratory salad of colors a “sorry”.

I’m currently working on a thing for @coinelot , a Merlin/Arthur convention that will be held in Berlin in October.  Do I need to say how excited I am to be able to contribute to all the fun?
Meanwhile, as October’s still a couple of months away, the team has something special to offer to all Merthur fans out there - wall and desk calendars that contain pieces of art created by awesome artists exclusively for the project. If you want a delicious treat for yourself or need a special gift for a friend, take a peek [here], guys.

My stucky fellas, hope to see you in a month or so. ♥

I need your opinion, folks.

This is “Pequeño Pana”, my current unicorn WIP. He wasn’t in my plans for this month, but then the hurricanes happened… and I want to do something to help Puerto Rico. His color scheme is inspired by the commonwealth’s flag.

ALL proceeds (minus material fees, depending on how much wool I end up using) from this lil’ friend’s sale will go to a charity helping Puerto Rican hurricane victims. I will provide the buyer with either a written or email receipt from said charity, as well as a screenshot of the donation with any personal information omitted.

My questions:

1.) I’m narrowing down my list of reputable charities and GoFundMe accounts. Do you have any suggestions? Even if your suggestion is already on my list I’d appreciate hearing your input!

2.) I’m considering selling him via Tumblr in an auction format, as opposed to listing him in my etsy shop. Not only does this avoid listing fees on my end, it also offers a potential to raise more for Puerto Rico. Do you like that idea? Hate it? Would you prefer I list him at a fixed price, instead? Would you prefer I not list him at all???

Please let me know your thoughts!

PS: The last thing I’d ever want to do is unintentionally offend with this idea (especially since my intent is to help)… so please send me a message on or off anon if something about Pequeño Pana troubles you. I want to address any and all concerns. Sending hugs.

I never thought I’d be here, but I’ve reached the point where I’m comfortable saying: I hate unicorns. This fic was supposed to be short. It was just meant to pave the way to the scene which I thought would be interesting.

I hate everything.

Although it did enjoy a brief stint (the last three versions) of being called The Unicorn Warden and The Hunter’s Virgin, à la old skool Harlequin Romance. So that was funny. I solemnly swear I will finish the damnable thing tonight or I will strangle myself with the mouse cord.

Man, there’s always a gif that expresses how you feel. Truly we live in an age of miracles.

Request: If you are still taking the specific Bucky stories how about a Bucky x reader where the reader and Bucky are friends but the reader is a bit childish abs likes to put cute magnets in his arm. Mostly where he can’t see them but others can.

Summary: You sneak some magnets onto Bucky’s arm and one of them happens to be an Inigo Montoya quote. The teams sees it and starts making Princess Bride jokes, confusing the hell out of Bucky.

Warnings: Best friend fluffy fluff!

A/N: I laughed so god damn hard while writing this, I do apologize for how short it is though.

Behind the Scenes of The Unicorn and the Wasp (Part Two)

Excerpts from Jason Arnopp’s article in DWM 396:

As we lurk, watching the Doctor interview his suspects - David corpsing at one point when Felicity Kendal improvises a belch on top of the planned hiccup - we decide to launch our own covert investigation. You see, these people harbour secrets…

DWM: How’s Catherine getting along?

David Tennant: After her first day, I was a bit worried that we hadn’t made enough of a fuss of her! Because she slotted in so utterly seamlessly.  I just though, “I really hope Catherine’s aware of how thrilled we are to have her back on set, and how much fun it is!” She’s so great to play off and act with. It’s such a new dynamic for the Doctor, too.

DWM: With a script this ticklesome, has there been much corpsing?

David Tennant: Funnily enough, it’s often the way that rehearsing tragedy is hilarious, whereas rehearsing comedy is really hard work!

DWM: You were having trouble keeping it together earlier, while interviewing Lady Eddison…

David Tennant: Felicity Kendal! Belching to cue! Given everything she brings to a role and everything we expect of her, it was so funny, every single time.

DWM: Is there any particular scene you’re looking forward to shooting?

David Tennant: The big Miss Marple-style-de-brief, where they all sit around to be exposed for the charlatans that they are. Or, indeed, the amorphic creature that they are. So that’ll be fun, although it’ll be difficult to shoot - it must be one of the longest scenes we’ve ever had!

Man's Road
Man's Road
Track: Man's Road
Artist: America
Album: The Last Unicorn

Horizon rising up to meet the purple dawn.
Dust demon, screaming, bring me an eagle to lead me on.
For in my heart I carry such a heavy load.
Here I am, on Man's Road.
Walking Man's Road.

I'm hungry, weary, but I cannot lay me down.
The rain comes, dreary, but there's no shelter I have found.
It will be a long time till I find my abode.
Here I am, on Man's Road.
Walking man's Road.

Moon rising, disguising loney streets in gay displays.
The stars fade, the nightshade, closing makes the world afraid
It waits in silence for the sky to explode.
Here I am, on Man's Road
Walking man's Road.
