am i the only one that laughed so hard at this

I swear, one day imma get shot lmao

I was in the Target with my nephew, who’s 10 and I was browsing through the shoes (looking for sandals) and I’m a bit irritated because the one pair I want has every size except mine.

So this girl was a couple shelves down and there was this guy following her everywhere, it was pretty obvious he was trying to get her number, but she was declining af. Y'all it was so annoying omg.

“But come on, why don’t you like me? Am I not tall enough? Not good looking enough? Is it my beard?”

And my nephew shouts “It’s cuz you look like horse nuts!”

AND BECAUSE MY NEPHEW IS SMALL, THE GUY ONLY SAW ME AND THOUGHT I SAID IT!! 😂😂 Everyone got so quiet and he left, but he looked SO SALTY OMG 😭😭

“make the princess speak and you will have the crown of kings.”

my knees hurt, as usual, from scrubbing. technically i’m too high of Maid Station to help out with these things, but i like seeing what happens when you clean. the development of things. how a lot of effort can make something. i like learning and trying and working hard to get towards something.

and i’ve seen them, from the back of pillars, from behind cracked doors, from beside her (on the best days) the way they talk to her. oh beautiful won’t you just look at me. oh darling. if you speak i’ll be your prince. if you speak i’ll be your king.

the princess, i know, finds the lines of suitors boring. it’s in the way her hands are always moving. she hides yawns, leaves early, we make her apologies. once, a man comes and tries to startle her into screaming. she rolls her eyes and looks directly at me. i have to hide my smile behind my sleeve. he is taken away while still screaming.

by accident, i find her once, crying. when we imagine princesses, they always cry daintily. hers is hoarse, angry, and something in it breaks me. in my station i should apologize and bow and leave. instead i am frozen, watching her shoulders heaving.

she looks up and spots me, her cheeks ruddy. i know i should go but instead i make a big show. i act as one of her princes. i make grand gestures and speak in deep voices. i frantically offer her handkerchiefs and trip over my own two feet. a smile crawls up over her, slowly. i dab my sweat away and offer her the used rag. i feign a fluster, turn a terrible cartwheel, make shadow puppets. the sound of her laugh, raw and rusty, sends shivers through me.

for a while, i do not see her after this. but then i am called to her chambers. she is crying again. i offer silly gifts, pebbles and dusting rags and a candlestick from her own kitchen, pretend to steal it, use it as a hat, rock it as a babe. she laughs more easily this time, gladly, and when she laughs i am taken by more important maids, thereby officially Excused.

it goes like this for months. the winter comes. i rarely see her. i spend my week thinking about ways to please her. i knick interesting cookies, show her shiny buttons, learn to cartwheel in a full skirt, and then promptly how to make it look foolish again. i learn how to juggle hot bread and dance as a man would, i learn how to balance on a ball and how to fall down without hurting myself, how to fake a fight with my own body, which colors she likes and which don’t please her.

i show up on a cold eve with a knotted line of scarves hidden down my sleeve, worried and breathless, wondering why she’s been crying. the door opens and she is sitting there, happy. at first i’m confused, but she waves me in. next to her is her small dessert, in two containers. i’m not sure how to respond, so i fake a fall to hear her laugh, and then sit at her feet. she gives me ice cream - so rare a treat. i know what went into making it - the hours of shaking. it’s smooth and tasty. i don’t feign my reaction, but she laughs anyway, kindly.

it goes like this. i see her more frequently. she likes giving me new things, watching me discover i hate kiwi and love oranges and would die if it made her laugh breathlessly. i’ve made her keel over with cackling and she’s put a fire in me. sometimes we just sit there, quietly, enjoying each other’s company.

it’s in her hands, always moving. little things i thought were just her, fidgeting. here’s how she says she’s thirsty, this is what her hands do when she needs a second to think, here’s how she shows she’s happy. this is how i learn to speak back to her. around her i spend much of my time smiling. i feel every visit is a gift. a new part to unravel. i find out she doesn’t respond to spoken things, that she needs to be looking in order to know you were speaking. sometimes she has me talk and she holds her hands to the base of my throat, her eyes wide and wondering. sometimes she just looks at me and i forget that i’m her jester in chief. i get caught up in her eyes, in how expressive they are when she’s happy, in how when she’s sad i feel like i’m drowning.

i never see the king or queen, but i know when she’s had a visit with them, because she never comes back happy. two winters i have known her, two winters and now we dine frequently. i am often called to stand beside her, to whisper translations of her desires into the ears of someone more important than i, someone who gets to be the voice of royalty. i can’t decide if i’m her friend or her plaything, but i don’t know i care much of the distinction. every moment i’m near her is a moment free of friction. i take stock of suitors and curtsy to them in daylight only to mock them in the candle’s eye later.

she asks me one night to stay. it has been a bad day. it’s completely not okay. i cannot say no but i cannot, by my station, stay. but she begs with her eyes and her hands and i know i’ll take the punishment.

we lie beside each other. i make sure to turn to her when i speak. in the dark she can’t see me, so i move my hands in the way i’m learning. she asks if i am ever lonely. i cannot tell her that i am always lonely without her beside me, so instead i say i think all people are very lonely and just are pretending. she laughs a little at that and says she thinks her parents are the two most lonely people that ever met. her mother was like her; broke a fairy curse and talked, just once, although nobody knows what she said. well, excepting her father, who was the only one around, and who won her hand in marriage.

from her mother she learned the art of hands, of speaking without words - from her father she learned that who she was included a curse. that she just wanted someone who would make her open like a rose - someone who could fix her. how she stared out into the royal garden and wished on flowers to be what her kingdom needs.

she fell asleep pressed against me. i couldn’t breathe. i was still awake in the morning.

the punishment never came. we spent nights like this. the handmaidens had grown to know me. whenever their princess was stubborn, i worked magic and made her lovely.

it was a terrible thing. i did too good a job, i think. the princess glowed too much or shone too brightly - or at least, i saw it that way, so who knows what the truth is. every day it felt like we were being rushed with princes.

her father’s temper at hosting failed. it was the day before her twenty-first birthday and first time i’d ever seen him. he stormed in at the end of the session. “just speak!” he said, “it’s not that hard! do for others what your mother did!”

“tomorrow is your last day of this,” he warned her, “either you pick a prince or i pick for you. i’m done with it.”

he stormed off. she was left shellshocked and trembling. that night she didn’t ask me to come, but i waited outside, just in case she changed her mind. i understood why she needed space. either she’d speak and be married tomorrow or she’d be married shortly. i heard her crying and it took everything in my power not to rush in and hold her, cradle her gently. but i cannot come into a room of a royal person without being invited. i stayed there, tears in my own eyes, thinking of treason.

the next day was a huge festival. what had been a birthday celebration was turned into a day about princes. i watched her shake her head. i tried to cheer her up. i tried everything. i frequently came inches from causing public humiliation, toed the line of mocking and failing to acknowledge my station. she wouldn’t smile. not once. not even for anything.

the day was long. the bonfire wore down. i watched her crumple into herself. i was out of ideas. i knelt at her feet. her eyes barely looked at me. just wait, i said to her with my hands, i’ll be right back. i took off running.

the price of stealing is losing my hands. these things that i spoke to her with. these things that mattered so much to me, that helped with my comedy and cleaning.

i didn’t think of them. i bloodied my fingers when i ripped the royal roses from their stems. and then i ran, as fast as i could, back to her feet. i picked them to show you, i said, as she gasped, looking at my treason, they’re beautiful and nobody told them to open to reveal their secrets to the bees. they are unbroken. as you are. as you always will be.

she fell off her throne and for a second i was beyond speaking, worried something had happened, or she’d fainted, or i’d said the wrong thing. but then she was on her knees, her arms around me, and i heard it. i heard the soft croak of her speaking. just one word, and it sent shivers down me. my name, in her voice, awkward and unwieldy, but full of love and passion, burning fire through me.

i felt a hand on my shoulder. i was pulled away from her. they already had me in handcuffs while i struggled to get back to her, to tell her i loved her, to beg her to run off with me or maybe just hold me around her, maybe just have her for a moment, because i couldn’t live without her for a moment longer.

they put me in the cells. i rotted in there, for a while or for no time at all, i’m not sure. the thorns scarred my palms. i watched the scabs build up and flake off. every time someone came down, i flinched, wondering if i would be the next to be taken and chopped into bits.

but one day the light was different. not the smoky torch of the jailer, instead a bright light in a lantern. at first when i saw her, my breath caught in my throat, mistaking her for my princess.

but she was my queen. at first we stood in silence. and slowly, i moved my hands to speak. is she married? is what came out, even though i should be more worried about me myself and me.

she is not. she bit her father on the arm when he tried to make her. then she fought him. and then ran away. it took us a bit to find her, i’m afraid. she threatened her own life and the life of everyone in this place. the queen was smiling. i was told there was a young woman who could make the princess speak, whom she would die to save, who brought roses to her feet. someone in a cell, rotting. are you her?

the memory of her voice rang through me. i’m she.

yes, her hands said, for even now, aren’t you speaking to the silent Queen?

she opened the door. come, she said, let’s get you cleaned up for the ceremony.

the crown of kings. when she wraps her arms around my neck and laughs next to me, i am royalty. when she smiles or makes a joke or asks to see my cartwheel again, i’m lost in her. i kiss her whenever i can, which is often. we have roses in a vase at the base of our bed, and for all of the kingdom, i’d give my hands if it would keep her laughing.

the next time she spoke was just once, at our wedding, where she said the two words i do to bind us for eternity. she had learned from me, from holding her hands over my voicebox, the way i learned from her how to use hands to speak. sometimes at night she says my name, just because she likes what it does to me.

i’m more blessed than a king. every day i spend with her is a day i spend happily.

THE SIDE JIMIN KEPT HIDDEN:

He said only later “as a trainee, I really didn’t know if I’d ever get to debut”. He used to be perceived as talented and showered with compliments by both his professors and parents in his hometown, arriving at Seoul. Negative thoughts will start to build up: “Why is everyone better than me? Do I have no talent? … Am I no good? Should I give up? Is this worth it”. Being a guy who hates losing he will ignore the hardship and just work harder.

During BTS first year, he will have the chance to write a letter and read it to ARMYs. His face will carry his signature smile at first but word after word, memories of that harsh year will start to hit him … and tears will fall. He will say that he thought of giving up endless times and that he is thankful he did not.

He will recall what made him come through that harsh year: “hard work”. Just a lil something bc Park Jimin won’t let me fucking live. If anything, expect more jimin soon bc I just really fucking cant with this guy. I reallyreallyreally hope you guys like this. Feedback is much appreciated!

Pairing: Jimin x reader

Genre: fluff, smut

Word count: 8,540

You honestly, truly didn’t know whether you wanted to choke Kim Taehyung until he couldn’t breathe and his body lay lifeless on the floor, or if you loved him so much you couldn’t bare hurt a single hair of his pretty little head.

The boy was just too much of a best friend sometimes, it drove you mental.

He was that kind of friend who knocked on your door in the middle of the night to ask if you wanted to grab some late dinner.

He was the type to give you a foot or back massage when you felt the stress of your assignments and work getting too much for you to handle, and then spend a whole night trying to figure out solutions for your problems after you’d relaxed.

He was the type to listen to you vent for hours, simply listening, knowing all too well you preferred someone to listen to you until there was nothing left, before he was allowed to give you his personal advice, which never failed to be helpful.

He was the type to make you forget about your breakups with your boyfriends, opting it would be better for you to spend time out and take your mind off of it instead of bringing it up and have you crying for hours. But if you did feel like crying, he was always the shoulder to cry on.

However, there was one thing about Taehyung that made you wonder why the fuck you even considered him tolerable at times.

He was a meddler. It was in his bones, he just couldn’t help it. God knew he couldn’t.

So when he started to notice that you seemed a little too lonely for his liking as of lately, he knew he had to do something about it. He didn’t utter a word to you, thinking up a plan in his head like the devil he is, and the light bulb didn’t go off in his head until you were out with the guys and a few others one weekend.

Park Jimin. Park Jimin was the solution.

He felt fucking dumb for never noticing the older boy staring at you, seeming to get lost every time, before quickly snapping out of it. For not noticing that cute special smile he always reserved for specific people. For not noticing how he almost always managed to stick by your side whenever he was in the same room, sometimes in the same building, as you.

He watched curiously as Jimin called you over, patting the now empty seat next to him as an invitation to you, and you made your way over thinking nothing of it. Taehyung knew you were pretty oblivious.

A guy could tape a sign onto his forehead that said ‘I like you’ and you still wouldn’t be entirely sure of it.

So this was kind of a challenge to accomplish. Luckily, challenges were what Taehyung lived for.

The first time you noticed something was a bit off was when Taehyung was over at your place one afternoon. You walked around the kitchen cleaning about, before standing in front of the sink and starting on the dishes. He sat at your small kitchen table, a bowl of cereal held in his hands. You were both quiet, you working and him eating, before you felt his presence next to you as he bumped your hip to push you to the side. He stood next to you, placing his bowl in the sink as well before starting with you. He suddenly broke the silence.

“__.”

“Yeah?” You mumbled, focusing on a small dark spot that wasn’t being very cooperative and coming off.

“Can I ask you something?”

“You just di-”

“Alright, I’m going to ask you something,” he sighed and shook his head with a tiny smile on his lips at your lameness. “What do you think of Jimin?”

“Jimin?” Your brows furrowed in confusion as you thought of what could’ve possibly been going through his head for asking you about him all of a sudden. “Why are you asking?”

“Just answer the question.”

“What do you mean what do I think of Jimin, Tae?” You chuckled, finally managing to wash the spot out and you grabbed another dish. “He’s a sweet, nice guy. What am I supposed to think of him?”

“Do you think he’s cute?”

“You got something you wanna tell me, Tae?” You asked curiously.

“Am I not the one supposed to be asking the questions here,” he huffed and you only laughed.

“Fine,” you sighed. “Of course he’s cute. I mean, even a guy as straight as a pin and a girl as can be would admit to that. Even you.”

“Mhm, alright.”

And then he was quiet for a few seconds, before changing the subject. “I bought a new video game. Hurry so we have enough time to try it out.”

You found it was strange but said nothing. You thought it better to keep your mouth shut and not dig too deep into it because it was most probably just Taehyung being Taehyung, but boy were you wrong.

“You mind if I text Jimin and Kookie to come over? They told me to tell them as soon as I got this game?” He asked from his spot on the couch, waiting for you to set everything up.

“Sure, no problem,” you answered, because it was always fun to hang out with the amazing trio.

“Great, they’re on their wa-”

And he was cut off with a knock that sounded on your front door. You paused and turned to look at Taehyung with a raised brow, only to see him sheepishly smiling at you. “Yeah, I might’ve texted them to come over about twenty minutes ago.”

You sighed and shook your head before standing up. “Just finish setting up, you moron.”

You jogged to the door when another knock sounded, not wanting to keep them waiting, and quickly swung the door open to be greeted with the sight of two smiley faces.

“__!” Jungkook greeted you and you moved aside to allow them inside.

“Hey, Kookie. Hey, Jimin,” you smiled brightly at them before ushering them inside. “Come on, we’re about to start playing.”

Jungkook nodded and quickly walked to the living room, but Jimin slowly stepped inside before stopping in front of you with that sweet angelic smile that God graced him with.

“No welcome hug for your guests?” He cocked his head to the side, and it was crazy how much he resembled a puppy you’d once seen in the pet store near your apartment building.

“Well, you two aren’t actually considered guests anymore, are you?” You chuckled but moved forward and hugged him quickly before pulling back. “But that puppy look could get you anything, Park.”

“__! Jimin! Get your asses in here, we already started the game!”

“You assholes! This is my house, you can’t just do that!” You quickly ran to the living room, and Jimin slowly walked behind you. And if you weren’t so engaged in scolding Taehyung and Jungkook as they played, not bothering to stop, so you hit the back of their heads before flopping onto the couch dejectedly, you would’ve noticed Jimin staring at you with a soft smile.

But Taehyung noticed, and he was now even more determined to put his plan in action.

“What were you two doing back there anyways? Anything you’re not telling me, __?” Taehyung teased and nudged your thigh with his foot. Jungkook snorted. Jimin only stayed quiet and tried to stop his cheeks from flushing at the mere thought of anything like that going on between you two, but you only glared at Taehyung and smacked his head with a pillow.

“It’s none of your business, just play the damn game so Jimin and I can get a turn,” you scolded, before pulling out your phone and continuing your muttering as you scrolled through something. “Ungrateful bastards. I let them use my TV and they do me like this..”

“Ha! Just admit it, I kicked your ass so good, even you’re feeling good about it,” Jungkook said with a triumphant smile as he relaxed against the back of the couch smugly.

“Fuck off,” Tae replied. “Just restart it and stop running your mouth.” He almost didn’t pay attention to the pair sitting on the other side of the couch. There you sat with Jimin, your head leaning against his shoulder and your feet resting on the coffee table, while he held up his phone so the both of you could see, both of you smiling and laughing at something on the screen. He stopped Jungkook before he could start the game and turned to the two of you.

“__, Chim. Are you two planning on playing? Kookie just beat me again so..” He trailed off.

“Huh?” You looked up from the phone, a smile still on your face, clearly too distracted to even hear him talk to you. “What was that?” You asked.

“Wanna play?” He asked again.

“Nah, I’m good. Not in the mood for it anymore.” You rested your head back against Jimin’s shoulder, before your smile fell and you lifted your head to look at him, placing your hand on his arm. Taehyung tried very hard to hide the smirk from his lips when he saw Jimin slightly, just slightly, tense at that. “Oh, I’m sorry Jimin. You should go play, you didn’t get a chance to try it out.”

Jimin quickly shook his head and waved you off with a smile. “It’s fine, I can try it some other time. I don’t even like this game that much.”

He patted his shoulder as an invite for you to lay your head there once again, and you gladly took it, the two of you immediately going back to laughing like you were minutes ago.

Taehyung felt his eyes sparkle when he was sure this would work. He could already see it. You didn’t even know that it was Jimin who’d been nagging Taehyung for weeks to get him this video game, and swore on his life that if he didn’t be the first one to try it, all hell would break loose. Clearly, that promise was broken for a simple reason.

You.

im going shopping. wanna come?

sure. where do you wanna meet?

we’ll just pick you up on our way

We? Who was 'we’? You shook the thought of, figuring it would surely be one of the guys. So you got up and quickly got dressed, managing to put on a bit of makeup before you received a text that he was waiting for you in the car. You grabbed your phone and quickly exited your apartment.

You weren’t surprised when you saw Jimin in the driver’s seat, but you were happy it was him who came along. You loved hanging out with him. He was always so sweet and friendly, never failing to make you smile and laugh with the simplest of things.

“Took you long enough,” Taehyung said as soon as you entered the car, and you only scoffed and kicked his seat.

“NIce to see you too, asshole,” you stuck your tongue out at him, before turning to Jimin, to find him already looking at you through the rearview mirror. “Hey, Jimin.”

“Hey,” he smiled. “Ready to go?”

You nodded eagerly and he started up the car.

“Where’s the AUX cord?” You asked after a silent minute.

“Get it yourself,” Taehyung grunted, not even bothering to look up from his phone.

“God, why were we even friends..” You mumbled, before turning to Jimin.

“Jiminie, can you hand me the cord, please,” you asked sweetly, and this time, through the mirror, you couldn’t help but notice his cheeks flushing slightly.

“Um, sure just a sec.”

He fumbled around, managing to get half a second to look around between driving, trying to find it, but to no avail. “Where the hell is it?” You heard him mumble. And then something caught your eye.

“Wait it’s down there,” you pointed between his legs where it lay. near his feet at the gas pedal.

“How the hell did it get there?” Confusion was evident in his voice. “I can’t even reach there with my seatbelt on-”

You cut him off by getting up from your seat and leaning forward, trying not to get in his view. You leaned forward on the arm rest, stretching your arm as far as it could go. Your arm pushed against his thigh as you wiggled your fingers trying to close that last inch of space between your hand and the cord.

“It’s fine, I’ll get it.”

Taehyung’s brows raised when he saw your position, and if Jimin wasn’t already pink because of you being so close, he was when Taehyung let out a wolf whistle.

“I don’t think I should be seeing this,” he tsked at the two of you. You finally managed to grab the cord and began to push yourself back, unconsciously using Jimin’s thigh for support, managing to smack the back of Tae’s head before you settled back in your seat.

“Pervert,” you grumbled before plugging in the cord and playing a song of your choice. You tried to convince yourself that your face was currently flushed because of the effort you just made. But as Taehyung watched you through the mirror, he knew it wasn’t because of that.

“Taehyung, please, spare me,” you begged as he dragged the two of you along with him to another store. You couldn’t, you just couldn’t take it anymore. You feet were aching, you were hungry, you were thirsty, and if you had to deal with another bitchy sales assistant, you were about to snap.

“Yah, stop nagging,” he kept walking, and you didn’t even realize that you grabbed Jimin’s arm instead of his for support as you tried to keep walking. But you didn’t mind. His arm was warm and strong, but soft at the same time, and you found yourself latching onto him. He didn’t seem to mind, offering his arm to you to grip more comfortably so that you didn’t have to put in much effort.

“Yah, dumbass,” Jimin scolded him, and you felt yourself smile. “She’s been walking for hours and she hasn’t even eaten anything yet.”

“Great, now it’s you too,” Tae grumbled, slowing down and turning around to the two of you. The sunglasses he wore hid the amused look in his eyes at the sight of you two latched onto each other. “Why don’t you two lovebirds go get something to eat and let me finish this in peace?”

You didn’t even comment on the 'lovebirds’ part, too excited with the thought of food to think about anything else. You gripped Jimin’s arm tighter to get him to look at you, and he did. “Can we? Please?”

“Of course.” His reply was immediate, and he felt his heart damn near soaring at the sight of you latched onto his arm, looking up at him with that cute little pout. Taehyung nearly barfed at the sight of you acting so couple-y without even realizing it.

You barely spared him a glance and a 'see you later’ as you walked off, and he looked at the two of you proudly before turning around and heading for the shop in front of him.

And the two of you went on without even looking back, your arm still wrapped around his as you looked for a place to eat. “Where do you wanna go, babe?” Jimin asked, and he felt himself blush slightly when the pet name slipped past his lips before he could stop. He didn’t dare to look down to see your reaction to it, which caused him to miss the similar blush that covered your cheeks as well, but your answer was controlled and nonchalant nonetheless.

“Any where’s fine with me as long as I can stuff my face with something edible,” you groaned out and he chuckled, before carefully placing a hand on yours that was wrapped around his arm, squeezing slightly. It lasted for a mere second before removing his hand and pointing to a small diner that didn’t seem too crowded.

“How 'bout there?”

And so you went inside and sat down after finding an empty booth. You went to sit across from him, but he grabbed your arm and stopped you, a small shy smile gracing his lips.

“Sit next to me. We can share if you want.”

And you found yourself sheepishly nodding in agreement.

As it turned out, according to Jimin, 'sharing’ meant him feeding you bites of his plate, practically half of it, barely eating himself. And when you whined about him feeding you everything and not having any, he would shush you, claiming that 'he wasn’t very hungry anyways’.

kookie just texted me to meet him and joon to work on something. jimin can drop you off yeah?

“That dick,” you mumbled with a frown, sending him a quick text to say that you would go with Jimin and cuss him out along the way. “Tae just ditched us.” You looked up at Jimin to find him looking at you curiously. He looked confused for a second, before a look of realization dawned on his face. But before you could question it, he smiled once again and spoke.

“That’s fine. Whenever you wanna leave I’ll drive you.”

You stayed in that diner for about fifteen more minutes, talking and laughing as if you’d done it for years. When in reality, you two had only been friends for months, and the times you spent alone together had only been a handful and usually never lasted for more than an hour at most. So, you were kind of glad Taehyung had decided to ditch the two of you, especially when you told an especially lame joke, and Jimin did that thing where he laughed and leaned his head against your shoulder slightly.

“Thanks for the ride home, Jimin. I’ll see you tonight right?” You asked as you unbuckled your seatbelt. His eyes were confused for a second.

“What?”

“We’re all going out to that new club, remember? That one Hoseok told us about,” you reminded him, and he nodded in realization.

“Ah right. Is Tae picking you up?”

“No, I’ll meet you guys-”

“I’ll come by early and pick you up,” he interrupted before you had a chance to finish your sentence.

“Really, Jimin. It’s fine, I’ll call a cab. It would be a hassle for you to come here then drive back to-”

“Do I look like the guy to take no for an answer?” He interrupted you once again and you just chuckled, defeated.

“Fine, see you tonight.”

His smile was triumphant as he watched you walk to your building, but as soon as you disappeared, the smile faded. He quickly took out his phone, looking for that contact name, before pressing call.

“I know what you’re doing,” he said.

“What do you mean?” Taehyung’s voice was filled to the brim with false innocence and obliviousness.

“__ already complains and scolds you enough about you meddling in other people’s shit. What do you think she’d do if she knows you’re pulling something on her, huh?” He tsked and huffed, even though a small part of him knew that Taehyung’s meddling plans almost always worked out in his favor, and he was partially praying that he wouldn’t give up on this one.

“Shh, just stop your nagging okay? I know what I’m doing. You’ll thank me for this one.”

Before Jimin had a chance to retort, the line went dead and Jimin huffed as he locked his phone. He leaned his head back against the seat and looked back to your building in thought for a few seconds before he started the ignition once again and drove off.

You and Jimin arrived to the club and the others were already partying in full swing, half drunk.

“Jeez, it’s not even 12 yet. What’d you do, order half the fucking menu?” You asked as you took a seat yourself with Jimin following behind.

“__! My baby, come gimme a hug.” Taehyung leaned over but you only planted your palm on his face and pushed him back.

“Not until I’ve had a few drink in me,” you snorted at his drunk pout, but he had the attention span of a baby as he was quickly distracted by a lame joke Jin was spouting off.

“I’ll get us some drink,” Jimin leaned in and spoke in your ear and you only smiled and nodded at him.

“Ah, whispering to each other now? I always knew you had a thing for shorties,” Taehyung had once again turned to you, wiggling his eyes suggestively. You narrowed your eyes.

“Oh no, I definitely don’t have a thing for you, Tae.”

“I meant Jimin. He’s the short o-”

“Oh I thought you were talking about length in other areas of the body,” you sighed with a fake confused look on your face, earning snorts and laughs from the other, as Taehyung only sent you a dirty look. Before he had a chance to retort, Jimin arrived and placed your drink in front of you, oddly enough having figured out your favorite, and sat next to you. He placed his arm on the back of your seat, his arm slightly grazing your bare back. You unconsciously leaned into him.

“Thanks, Jimin.”

“No problem.”

As the clock struck 2 AM, Jungkook, Taehyung and Hoseok were out on the dance floor doing god knows what, Namjoon and Suga were in some deep (most probably drunk) conversation, and Jin was one his phone (most probably drunk texting someone) considering the stupid grin on his face and the giggle he let out every once in a while.

But you and Jimin were still in your seats. Jimin had laid a bit low on the drinks, taking to keeping an eye on you when he saw how you were downing drink after drink, with clearly none of the other guys planning on staying sober and watching you.

“I think that’s enough for you, __,” he chuckled as you gulped the last bit of your drink and put it back on the table. You looked up at him, pout clearly visible on your lips.

“Just one more, Jimin. I promise it’ll be the last one,” you held up one finger.

“No,” he tsked. “You’ve had too much already, I can already see the headache you’re gonna have tomorrow.”

“You’re no fun,” you poked his chest with the finger you held up and he only laughed. The pout you had on was quickly replaced with a giggle of your own. “You have a cute laugh, Jimin.”

“Thanks, __,” he considered you being drunk a privilege since you couldn’t see the slight pink covering his cheeks.

“You’re welcome. You have a cute everything, actually. Cute face. Cute eyes. Cute nose. Cute cheeks,” you pinched his cheeks for emphasis. You paused for a second, and he nearly felt his heart fall into his stomach when he saw your gaze fall to his lips. “Cute lips.” Your voice was lower now, barely heard over the music.

Your fingers unconsciously moved from his cheeks, until your forefinger and middle finger grazed his soft lips. He visibly gulped. He looked to your eyes but found them fixed on his lips. He almost leaned in. Almost. But then he remembered.

You were drunk.

“I should take you home, it’s getting late.” His voice was choked a bit so he cleared his throat before grabbing your hand and moving it down. “Come on.”

You nodded and got up as well, wobbling slightly on your feet from the drinks you’ve had. You said goodbye to the guys but they were clearly too drunk to reply properly, as you were. You saw the other three doing some stupid shit somewhere but you only giggled drunkenly as Jimin shook his head and pulled you by the hand behind him.

You stared down at your entwined hands, thinking to yourself how much you enjoyed the warm touch. His hand was so nice to look at, but even nicer to hold. Palms soft yet firm, making you feel entirely secure, even in your drunker state. Your eyes followed up to the arm that the hand belonged to, then to the man that the arm belonged to. Even the back of his head was handsome, why had you never noticed that before.

You suddenly had the urge to be closer to him, and as soon as you stepped foot outside the club, you moved closer and looped your arm in his, your body sticking to his side completely. His body tensed for a mere second, but he only looked down at you and smiled softly and squeezed the hand that was placed around his arm.

You walked in silence to his car, the only sound being the click of your heels against the ground. He opened the car door for you as soon as you reached it, and you climbed in, resting your head back against the seat and watching as he walked to the other side of the car. He got in and buckled himself up, moving to start the car before he turned to you.

“Sweetheart, put on your seatbelt.”

You didn’t know if it was the drinks you had, or the pet name he just called you by, but you felt your head spin slightly.

“Huh?” You mumbled. He chuckled and shook his head, not bothering to reply as he leaned over to you to do it himself.

You found it strange how your heart immediately seemed to speed up when he got closer to you. It was kind of overwhelming really. You could smell his cologne clearly like this, and its smell was addicting. You could practically feel the warmth radiate from his body, because he was just that type of person, you know? You could see a tiny, barely there freckle that couldn’t even be seen unless you were mere inches from each other, which you were.

You didn’t even notice that he’d already buckled you up until he looked up so his eyes met yours, but still didn’t move away. You breathed deeply, letting out a soft sigh as eyes so beautiful stared back at you, cursing yourself for never noticing how truly, intricately enchanting they were.

“All done,” he mumbled, still not moving away.

“Thanks,” you gulped.

But then he leaned back quickly once again and cleared his throat. starting up the car and driving off.

You both let out shaky sighs simultaneously.

When he parked in front of your building, he got out of the car and quickly made his way to your door, helping you out. You stumbled slightly after having been sat down but he was quick to steady you with an arm around your waist, and he kept it there as he walked with you to your apartment building after locking his car.

You found yourself, once again, leaning into his warmth and he tightened his arm around you. As you reached the elevator, you clicked the button and waited. You couldn’t help but look up at him. God, why did it take so many drinks for you to actually look at this man and appreciate every single aspect of him? This should be done while you’re sober and completely sane, so that you could put every single inch of him to memory, so that you wouldn’t ever manage to forget a single detail.

You hoped you would remember that tomorrow.

He looked down to see you already staring at him, and you were even more mesmerized when your eyes met his. His face was so damn close now, and your heels helped in being much closer to his face. Fuck. You just couldn’t fucking help it anymore.

You leaned forward and caught his lips with yours, and he stumbled slightly with the sudden force of the kiss. However, his surprise only got him for two seconds before he immediately wrapped you up in his arms and you brought your arms around his neck, your fingers digging into his hair.

God, this felt so good.

But then the ding of the elevator sounded and he quickly but gently pushed you away, one arm still around your waist. Both of you were breathing heavily, your eyes frantically searching each other’s.

“__, sweetheart. You shouldn’t… You’re drunk,” he sighed, stroking your hair and bringing it away from your eyes.

“But,” you stepped closer once again, pecking his lips fast before he could stop you. You felt a sudden wave of confidence. Your mind was hazy, partially from the amount of alcohol you’d consumer throughout the night. But still. "I want you,“ you breathed out.

"God,” he whispered and closed his eyes. He brought his forehead down to rest against yours, breathing in deeply then letting it out slowly. “You’re drunk,” he repeated, as though convincing himself rather than you. “Come on.”

He pulled you in the elevator, pressing the button to your floor. You leaned against him, your head in the crook of his neck. You couldn’t help but place your lips there, barely grazing the skin. It just seemed so soft and inviting, and he smelled so good you felt intoxicated.

His eyes fluttered shut when you pressed a soft kiss there, your hand resting against his firm chest, slowly going up and down the solid expanse. But once again, he was awoken by the ding of the elevator and he grabbed the hand that was on his chest to pull you out of the elevator and to your apartment.

He managed to help you find your apartment key from your purse and unlocked it to let you in. You immediately kicked off your heels and dropped down to your height, and he found himself smiling at how adorable that was.

However, that adorableness was quickly swept away when as soon as he closed the door, you turned around and wrapped your arms around his neck, leaning up on your tippy-toes to bring your face closer to his. “Can I kiss you now?” You whispered, your nose grazing against his. His hands found your waist, fingers gripping into the skin.

“Baby..” The name slipped out without him realizing it, and it only dazed you even more. “Let me take you to bed. You should sleep this off, yeah?”

“Jimin,” you whined out. “I’m not even that drunk, I only had like-”

“Eight drinks? Yeah, I counted,” he grasped onto the self control he kept especially reserved for when he was around you and pushed you away. “Now, come on. Off to bed.”

You pouted like a little kid but turned around nonetheless, and you tripping on your own two feet was enough proof that he’d made the right decision, even if he wanted oh so badly to kiss you and ravish you till the sun came up.

He got you in bed, and after whining for a few seconds about him being a 'buzz kill’, you dozed off.

The corners of his mouth slid upwards and his eyes sparkled at the sight of you all cozied up in blankets. He rarely ever got to see you asleep, less than a handful of times when you’d doze off on the couch when you were all hanging out. And he always appreciated those moments. You looked so peaceful and soft and tender, just begging to be held and cuddled up to.

But he restrained, only leaning down and placing a feather light kiss to your forehead before making his way outside.

He sighed. Tonight, he’d reached a whole new level of self control he never knew he could exhibit.

You two hadn’t spoken of that night, but you would be fucking dumb not to notice the change that happened after that.

Despite him thinking you were too shitfaced to remember anything from that night, you still remembered that kiss. It was clear and vivid in your mind, how could you manage to forget? You groaned and buried your face in your pillow in embarrassment when the memory hit you, knowing you were drunk and you came on too strong. And Jimin was just too nice to push you away and tell you to manage on your own in your state of drunkenness.

So you settled for keeping your lips shut and saving yourself the embarrassment.

And Jimin didn’t utter a word either, thinking you completely forgot about the whole thing, and if you did, you weren’t planning on mentioning it.

But even a blind person could see the change between the two of you. The change in how you acted around each other, looked at each other, talked to each other. The hugs that were more frequent and lasted just half a second longer, but that half a second truly did count. The touches that looked purely accidental, but truly weren’t. His hand would brush against yours, and when you’d look up to him, he would be looking somewhere else. His arm always managing to rest behind you whenever you two would be sitting next to each other, slowly moving closer until it was practically wrapped around your shoulder.

Those little changes.

And then there was Kim Taehyung. That kid seemed to go from subtle teasing to downright shameless.

“You two want to bone each other so bad.”

“Kim Taehyung if  you don’t shut your fucking mouth..”

“What? It’s true..”

He just wouldn’t let up. He knew there was something, and it was practically impossible for you to just grow some balls and get it over with, and he was too impatient to wait for that.

“Move your ass out of the way,” he groaned from his spot on the couch, trying to look around you and see the TV, engrossed in the game show he’d just caught on to.

“Where the hell is my beanie, Kim Taehyung? It’s my favorite one and I know it’s your favorite too so where is it?” You snapped, hands on your hips in a pose that made you look somewhat motherly, but goddammit he just brought out that side of you.

Jimin sat next to Taehyung, amusement clear on his face as he enjoyed watching the two of you bicker rather than the TV show.

“I told you __, I don’t know,” he whined out. “I can just buy one on my own, why the hell would I steal yours when I know I’m gonna get shit from you!”

“Oh, bite me. You were the one who wore it last, so just tell me where the hell you put it so that-”

You were cut off with your own squeak when he grabbed your arm and pulled you down. However, it wasn’t towards him. Oh no, it was to his right. Jimin let out an 'oomph’ when you landed on his lap, his hands immediately gripping your hips to steady you. Your hands were on his chest, and you thanked god your knee hadn’t landed in a way to hit a certain sensitive area.

But then you realized how close you two were. His face right in front of yours, stray strands of hair falling forward onto your face because of the sudden force of your fall, some even tickling his face because of your proximity.

To say the least, your breath was quite literally knocked out of you, your lips agape as you stared at him in chock, and he reciprocated the look you held.

You gulped when one of his hands came up and pushed your hair away from your face, and dear god you could’ve fucking melted right there because this just felt too familiar to you.

“Oh my god.”

Taehyung’s groan awakened you both from your trance, and you immediately jumped up, hastily brushing back your hair and fixing your clothes. You cleared your throat and  tried to find the right words to say, not even in the right state of mind to think about choking your poor excuse of a best friend who was smirking at you as if it were his fucking job.

“I should, erm.. Yeah, see you guys later.”

You walked quickly to the front door, bumping into Hoseok along the way, muttering out a quick apology.

“What’s up with her?”

“Oh nothing, she and Jimin just almost kissed-”

“Would you mind your fucking business for once Taehyung?” You heard Jimin groan out before you left the dorms.

“Jimin, just kiss her already. Seeing you guys like this is torture.”

You couldn’t help it. You had to hear where this was going, even if Taehyung was being an annoying prick who couldn’t keep his nose out of other people’s business. You wanted to hear what he had to say.

“Taehyung, for the last time. Get off my back, okay? It’s none of your business.”

“But you two clearly like each other, only one kiss will-”

“We have kissed, you idiot.”

Your eyes widened.

“What?” Taehyung gasped. “You’re telling me this now? When did that happened? Where? I mean - how? Did you two sleep together? Why aren’t-”

“She was drunk, Tae,” Jimin sighed, and you heard shifting before he continued talking. “She was drunk,” he repeated. “I don’t even know if she remembers it. And if she does, she hasn’t said anything about it, which clearly means she regrets it.”

You heart clenched in guilt, he thought you regretted it?

“Have you not seen the way she’s been acting around you?” Taehyung said in an incredulous tone.

“Maybe she just feels awkward around me after that night,” he sighed again, and it took everything in you not to shout 'no’ at the top of your voice, but you had to be patient. This had to be done properly. “Stop forcing her into stuff with me, I don’t like it, Tae. If there’s something, it’ll happen.”

But then, for once, you felt like you needed that push to grow some balls and do something. And you knew you’d regret it later because then Tae would never let you hear the end of it, but you needed his help.

“Hey, __.” He greeted you with a large smile and a tight hug that you savored before letting go and smiling up at him. “Tae just texted me. Is he here already?” He asked as he walked into he living room, confused when he saw no one there.

“Erm,” you walked behind him and scratched the back of your neck nervously. “No, he’s not.”

“That kid, he’s always late-”

“Actually,” you interrupted him and he looked up at you from where he’d taken a seat on the couch. “He’s not coming?”

His eyebrows rose up in surprise, but then a tinkling of a smile showed on his lips. “Did he cancel again? That prick..”

“I asked him to text you to come over because I’m too much of a wimp to do it myself,” you blurted out.

This time, pure surprise was shown over his face, no smile hidden there as he tried to interpret what you had to say carefully. You slowly walked over to him and sat down right next to him, sideways so that your knee was brushing against his thigh.

“You could’ve just texted me, __. You know I’d come if you asked.” His words were simple but they definitely held a deeper meaning to them , and the soft look he held in his eyes gave you that bit of courage that you needed.

“Well, yeah, but..” You leaned forward slowly. “I was kind of nervous because there’s something that I’ve been wanting to do. Ever since that night..”

His eyes flickered down to your lips as you came closer.

“You remember?” He mumbled.

You nodded.

“You don’t regret it?”

You shook your head.

“Does that mean I can kiss you?”

Another nod.

He rested his forehead against yours for a few seconds, before shifting his head just slightly and giving you a gentle kiss. He pulled away after feeling your lips and looked into your eyes, both of your breathing shallow and shaky. But then he couldn’t control himself anymore and grabbed both sides of your head, bringing you into a desperate kiss full of tongue and teeth, laced with desperation and want that had been held back for far too long.

He carefully started pushing you back until your body laid back completely against the couch, and he made his way in top of you. Your hands started roaming, having a mind of their own. Yours traveled across his back and torso, feeling every inch of muscle and inviting soft skin. His hands gripped your thighs and rubbed them up and down every once in a while, enjoying the feel of your bare skin that was exposed because of your shorts.

“Jimin..” Your whisper was meant for his ears only, and he never thought he’d enjoy the sound of hearing his own name before. He peppered kisses down your neck, small kisses turning more passionate and hungry, his tongue sneaking out to have a taste of the skin he’d been dying to get his mouth on for who knows how long.

There was nothing on your mind but Jimin. Only Jimin. With each mind-numbing kiss he gave you, any thought unrelated to him evaporated from your mind. Your body was heating up with each touch he gave you, and with each new patch of skin he discovered.

“We need-” He panted in between pressing kisses and sucking a hicky to a certain spot at the spot where your neck met your shoulder. “We need to go to the bedroom..”

In seconds, you found yourself in your bedroom being thrown on the bed, after Jimin had stumbled through the hall with you in his arms, trying to find his way to the bedroom successively without moving his lips away.

Clothes were thrown everywhere, and then the room was filled with the sound of your pants, and his mouth moving against your heat in the most delicious of ways. The sucking noises his mouth made as he sucked on your clit, or the wet slick noise when his tongue moved faster against you, so lewd and erotic. It had you bucking your hips up to him, moaning his name loudly and grabbing his hair to push him closer.

“Jimin, fuck -"you cried out when you felt him slowly insert one of his fingers into you, pushing it all the way until it was knuckle deep before he started thrusting.

Your panting was even faster now, your chest heaving up and down quickly with each breath you tried to catch. Your eyes were closed and your head was thrown back, but then you suddenly remembered that you wanted to see this, all of this. You needed to see everything.

You looked down, and the sight only had you clenching tightly around his finger. Those plump lips slicked and shiny with your wetness, his tongue slipping out to taste you. His lips would wrap around your clit every few seconds, earning loud desperate cries from you in return. But what had you going the most was the look in his eyes.

His eyes weren’t staring up at you, they were fixed on the sight right in front of him, watching with the look of a starved man who wanted to completely and wholly devour you with everything he had.

"Fuck! Fuck yes.”

The sight was cut off from you when you threw your head back against the mattress, unable to take it when you felt another finger enter you while he simultaneously sucked on your clit. “God this feels so good..” Your words were whimpered out, and you were sure he heard them when you heard and felt his approving hum against you.

He pulled his mouth away from your for a little bit, finally looking up t the sight of you flushed and wrecked from his mouth and fingers only. “Your pussy tastes so good, baby.” His tone was soft in contrast to his words.

“Baby. Jimin, Jimin I’m coming..” Your words were rushed out and frantic, trying to warn him, but he only quickened the pace of his fingers and leaned down once again to get his tongue on you. “Oh fucking - fuck Jimin!”

Your back arched and your thighs tensed up, clenching around his head as he continued to move his fingers and mouth against you to ride out your high, and you would’ve thought you were choking him with your thighs if it weren’t for the pleased groan he let out against you and the soft squeeze he gave to your thighs.

Your back flopped down against the bed as you tried to control your breathing, finally relaxing when you felt him retreat his tongue and fingers. He placed soft kisses to the insides of your thighs, running his hands up and down your skin for a few seconds before he started to make his way up your body.

The look he gave you was lustful yet full of love, probably a deadly combination and a warning that he, for sure, wasn’t anywhere near done with you.

“Fuck!” Your voice was practically a squeal, and you weren’t one to be blamed with the way Jimin was pounding you into the mattress, head resting against the pillows, ass up and his for the taking. “Jimin, please don’t stop.”

“Not planning on it,” he groaned out, and you let out another squeal, this one caused from both surprise and pleasure, when his hand came down harshly against your ass, accompanied with a hard thrust that had you flying forward.

This was the third time you were going at it, and you could already tell it wouldn’t be the last one for the night. It seemed as though your lust for each other was insatiable, and who were you two to keep it that way?

“Uh, fuck,” you didn’t care how whiny your moans sounded at the moment because you were getting fucked good by the man you wanted for a long time, and he was clearly appreciating you being vocals as his thrusts got faster and harsher with each sound you made.

“Your pussy feels so good,” he breathed out. “All mine. Gonna fuck you for hours, baby, till you fucking beg me to stop.”

He leaned his body down so his torso was completely flush against your back, sweaty skin sticking to the other as he sandwiched you between his body and the mattress. His hips stopped moving as one of his elbows rested near your head for leverage, with his other hand grabbed yours tightly and held it against the mattress. He said nothing as he moved some of the hair that was stuck to the back of your neck with his nose before he placed his lips there softly.

Then his hips slowly started back up, the angle hitting you so much deeper, and you couldn’t describe how much the euphoria heightened with the feeling of his every limb stuck and tangled with yours. His legs keeping your legs spread open to his liking, his toes clenching against your own each time he flexed to move his hips. His hips flush against your ass, feeling him move every single muscle against you.

It just felt too much, you felt like you were going to scream. So you dropped your head to the pillow still beneath your head, your mouth biting into the soft material to hold in your desperate cry when he reached a spot so deep in you, it had you seeing stars. He stilled his hips there for a few seconds and you felt like you were going to cry. But Jimin clearly didn’t approve of you trying to tone down your noises, removing his hand from yours to grip the pillow and remove it from your face before throwing it away somewhere.

With your hand now free, you grabbed at the headboard desperately when he started moving his hips again, your eyes fluttering shut and your mouth hanging open. “Jimin. Fuck.. Fuck yes! Faster, faster.”

HIs movements got faster and more erratice with each word you said until he was pounding you again, but fuck this was so much hotter because you could hear every fucking sound he made right against your ear. Those quick, short breaths that shook with his thrusts, the chocked back moans and groans. Your name. Your name leaving his lips was like liquid gold, just entirely too beautiful.

“__,” he groaned. “Come on, baby. You gotta come for me.”

As if to prove his words, his free hand wedged itself between the mattress and your body to make its way to your clit, and he didn’t waste a second to rub quick circles onto it, needing you to come right this second before he fucking exploded.

“Oh god, Jimin. There. Right there! Baby please don’t stop!” Your hand gripped the headboard tighter and he removed his elbow from the mattress to place his hand on top of yours, gripping tightly to gain as much leverage to keep fucking you good.

“I’m coming, yes - fuck yes,” you moaned out. “Jimin.”

You dragged his name out as you felt warmth spread through every single fiber of your body, your eyes closing as you were blinded with ecstasy. You panted and moaned and whimpered, wriggling beneath his body, sensitive to the thrusts he was still delivering to your weak body as he chased his own high.

“Fuck fuck fuck. __,” he groaned out, his hips stilling when he was buried balls deep inside you, and your head dropped against the mattress, eyes rolling back in pleasure when you felt his cock twitch and his warmth filling you only half a second later. His hand tightened around yours, and he removed them from the headboard to place them on the mattress near your heads. His head rested on your shoulder, his warm breaths running across your back in the most soothing way possible.

You two stayed that way for about half a minute before he decided to move and pull out of you. He dropped his body next to yours, both of you still panting and extremely sweaty, but he didn’t care and was quick to wrap you up on his arms and bringing you to rest on his chest.

You were quiet. There was still some talking you two needed to do. But at the moment, you settled for tracing shaped on his bare chest with the tip of your finger, before he slowly brought his hand up to yours, the tip of his finger nudging yours. t was a silent invitation, and you lifted your palm up without hesitation for him to entwine his fingers with yours.

You both squeezed simultaneously and then he brought them up to his lips and pressed a tiny kiss to your hand.

For once, you were actually pretty fucking grateful for Kim Taehyung’s meddling methods.

An Aquarius was throwing and making a mess in his own room after he found out that she, his girlfriend, had finally moved on without him. I looked as he cuss and threw away some of the mementos of her, and finally stopped when he found an old photo of them together at a photobooth. He sat down and started to burst into tears. “If only.. If only I told her everything, and hadn’t kept it all in, maybe she would’ve stayed..” he said through the tears.

An Aries looked through his twitter and found a picture of his ex with someone else, he let out a soft chuckle. “Oh shit..” he laughed, and slowly he stood up and continued to laugh. “Look at this. Look at her.. Oh, she’s.. she’s fucking hilarious.” He slowly started to laugh so hard, and I watched as he began to shake and slowly made his way to the balconey and started to scream about her, just screamed her name and called her names and how he hated her but finally he broke down and cried.

A Cancer started shaking and tries to grab his phone out of our reach. “Please, let me just call her..” we shook all our heads and told him to just stay put. He begged that it’ll be just for tonight. We told him that he has had enough, but he wouldn’t listen. He wanted to call her so bad, but the truth is.. she’s about to have her wedding in a week, and he was going to tell her he still loves her after all these years.

A Capricorn and I were out in mid-town late at night, and he had too much to drink. He sways as he walks, and suddenly one of Bryson Tiller’s songs played through one of the bars nearby and he let go of me and sang through the whole verse. He finally stopped and looked at me and said, “This shit, that’s me. I wished God would saved her for me. That’s it, and fuck.. I’m not really at my best at the moment, but I loved her.”

A Gemini breath out smoke after inhaling his cigarette and he looked at the city lights from our view. “I miss her..” was all he said, taking another inhale from his cigarette. He looked at me and gave me a small smile and back at view.

A Leo drank with me, and place an arm around my shoulders and said, “I shouldn’t drink too much. These crazy thoughts are hunting me again, and I just want to crush the world. Ha, oh she’s in my head. My ex, you know? She’s in here again and.. fuck! I hate her. I miss her. You know we’re talking again, right but just as "friends”? I want more than that..“ He gave me a small playful slap on the cheek and walked to get another drink. It’s going to be a long night.

A Libra rushed to her house, knocking at her apartment door. But it was locked. Ran back downstairs and started calling her name out her window, trying to get her attention. She finally opened the window and told him to leave. I watched from the car, as he asked for her forgiveness. She shook her head and said it was too late for him.

A Pisces admitted to me how he still thinks about his ex, and how he still calls out her name and how his mind would play memories of her every single day. He can’t stand the nights because his mind would play her, her voice, her smile, the way she would call him everyday and she was his rock. As he sits here with me, tears roll down his cheek and he said, "Now here I am still holding on to her, just waiting for a sign that maybe she’d come back, and maybe we can try again.. but also maybe she’s with someone else, who.. who treats her well than I could’ve had and.. I want her to be happy, I do, but I wish.. right now.. she could be happy with me, and I am so selfish for it..”

A Sagittarius once said that he used to think too much about the relationship and how every time he was with her he would start to overthink every scenario of how she would leave him, and he would tell her and she would shook her head and promised him she would never leave… and now that she’s gone he still can’t stop thinking about her..

A Scorpio said to me, “I’m just not too sure if I could ever ask her to come back. I really messed up, you know? I could try, but would she ever give me another chance to prove to her my real worth? Can she really do that..?” I was a little loss for words. Knowing Scoprio and how he is, he seemed to be really serious about her. I just didn’t know what to say.

A Taurus and I passed by a coffee shop and he paused and peered through and saw his ex with someone else, and she’s laughing and holding this man’s hand. He gritted his teeth and his fist clenched. I put a hand on his shoulder and told him to let it go. It’s been years since they’ve together and been a two years after their break up. He slowly looked down in defeat and sighed. He walked off ahead of me..

A Virgo and I were driving out late one night around the city, and all the songs he played were just old, sad R&B music and I would watch him from time to time as he mumbled some of the lyrics to himself and would let out a small smirk when the singer goes and says, “I love you and miss you..” and he shook his head. We pulled up to a parking lot, and he got out and looked at me and said, “I do miss her, but do you think she misses me..?”

A/N: Thank you to all those who followed me and read my first fic!  I’m thinking of doing a part two to this one, so if you like it, let me know!

Your fire escape had always been your favourite part of your apartment.  Situated outside your bedroom window, you had spent countless hours of your life lounging on the metal steps, reading a book or catching up on some homework.  Last summer, you had wound a string of fairy lights around the rails, which were coated in shiny dark paint.  Your landlady had protested at first but, after you proved that they weren’t endangering the use of the fire escape in any way, she had let you keep them.  The small victory had brought a smile to your face, and now your escape was even cozier than before, and was still just as cozy a year later.  This year’s summer brought scorching heat and clear nights, and you spent most of your free time out on your escape, trying to catch a breeze.

You sat on your fire escape now, wearing a lightweight hoodie and pajama shorts, doodling in a journal.  School was out for the week and tomorrow didn’t require a six am wake up call, leaving you free to stay up late and admire the Queens skyline at night.  It was nights like these that you loved the most; nights that seemed like they were pulled straight from a movie scene, with stars that glimmered like flames, a full moon bigger than you had ever seen before, and the sounds of the city mixing in with the quiet melodies that drifted out of the speakers propped up on your window sill.  You would be content for the rest of your life if you could keep moments like these forever.

All About Writing Fight Scenes

@galaxies-are-my-ink asked,

“Do you have any advice on writing fight scenes? The type of scene I’m writing is mostly hand to hand combat between two experts. I’m definitely not an expert so when I try to write it, the scene ends up sounding repetitive and dull.”

Fore note: This post is coauthored by myself and one of my amazing critique partners, Barik S. Smith, who both writes fantastic fight scenes and teaches mixed martial arts, various artistic martial arts, and weapons classes.

I (Bryn) will tell you a secret: I trained MMA for seven years, and when I write authentic hand to hand fight scenes, they sound dull too.

The problem with fight scenes in books is that trying to describe each punch and kick and movement (especially if it’s the only thing you’re describing) creates a fight that feels like it’s in slow motion.

I write…

Lowering her center of gravity, she held her right hand tight to her face and threw a jab towards his chin. He shifted his weight, ducking under her punch. His hair brushed against her fist, and he stepped forward, launching a shovel hook into her exposed side.

But your brain can only read so fast. In real life that series of events would take an instant, but I needed a full eight seconds to read and comprehend it, which gave it an inherent lethargic feel.

So, we have two primary problems:

  1. How do we describe this fight in a way the reader can understand and keep track of?
  2. How do we maintain a fast paced, interesting fight once we’ve broken down the fight far enough for readers to understand it?

(We will get back to these, I promise.) But for now, let’s look at…

Different types of “fight scenes:”

I have a confession... I don’t belong here.

I’m not usually one to to say how she feels, let alone write down how she feels, but recent events have made it hard to hide where I’m at, so I thought I’d take a page from my good friend’s book and lay it all out here. To see if it helps.

Over the last few months really exciting things have been happening. Some things you know about, some you don’t. Suffice it to say life is good. And I’m terrified. I am utterly a fish out of water. I am lost and confused. And no one knows it. My life used to be small. I was a sun flower in a small garden. I thrived on what water I had and was fine. Fine. ish. I wanted more. I pretended that I knew more than I did so that I wouldn’t seem like such and outsider to my peers. Fake it till you make it, right? I knocked down doors that were locked and found opportunities that were hidden away form me. I was succeeding at the unimaginable. And then I pushed. And I pushed. And I pushed. Until I found myself weeping from a broken back because I had been pushing at brick walls that wouldn’t budge. I’d pushed too hard. And I became so terrified that I would be discovered as a fraud that I became selfish and insensitive. All to conceal a devastating fact. I don’t belong here.

I grew up on a small farm. We as kids worked the farm to help out. My mother moved us around where she could find work when my father lost his eyesight. we struggled always but we survived. This isn’t meant to be a pity party. My folks are strong as fuck. My point is, none of this is supposed to happen to girls like me. I was just a girl who loved to make people laugh, who loved the theatre and was terrified of being invisible. But recent events have put me in a position where lack of anonymity is making my screw ups more prevalent to some. And its an awful feeling. I try really hard to appear to be a person that is supposed to live in this kind of situation I’m in, because I love it here. But the secret is, I have no idea what I’m doing. So I fuck up. And I perhaps come across as self-absorbed and opportunistic as a sad attempt to look mightier than the small town girl that I really am. This is my way of keeping people far enough away that they wont see the cracks in my armour.

Here’s my other big secret. I love a lot. Like A LOT. I cant help it. My attraction to good humans can not be harboured and I am not ashamed. You look at my phone and I generally have 7 text threads going on any given day. I want to know everything about you at all times. I want you to share your deepest passions and griefs with me. I wanna know you inside and out! Here’s the thing, I don’t like to let people love me. Fucked up right? I want to love you but I don’t want you to need me. Cause I’ll disappoint you and you’ll go away and then it’ll all be for nothing. If I’m really scared of your love i’ll be unemotional, or distant, or if you’re really lucky- I might even be mean.

Anyway this is my point: This exact life I’m living right now is a combination of my greatest dream and my most terrifying nightmare. I am not invisible and I can’t escape the love and the loving needs of others. I’m living a life that many including myself have only dreamed of. And I’m terrified that I’m just going to screw it all up.

So I’m writing this to let you know I’m going to work really really hard and do my absolute best to not fuck this up. Any of it. This is the steepest learning curve I’ve ever had in my life and I can no longer hide the fact that I feel in over my head. But stick with me, K? I’ll figure it all out really soon.

Thank you for everything that you’ve given me and the patience you continue to give me. I’m sorry if it seems like I’ve taken your love for granted. It’s actually just the opposite. I just didn’t want you to know ;)

Day One Hundred and Twenty-Nine

-A young girl informed her mother that she will be receiving seventy-five Hatchimals and “all of the gift cards in here” for this Christmas. Meeting a clairvoyant, as her wisdom proved her to be, opened a wide world of possibilities. Sadly, this world was quickly closed back up as my oracle at knee-height was carted away from me.

-A pen bent in half to form a ninety-degree angle was found on my counter, without even a trace of an origin. This is the First Sign.

-A young boy rolled up to me on a stellar set of Heelys to confirm the balance of a gift card. This absolute icon inspired me to finally get my skills up to snuff and wear my pair to work.

-I managed to show up to work in a pair of pants with a respectable-sized hole in the seat. Shortly after I arrived, I came to find that my coworker had a similarly shaped and positioned inconvenience themselves. I am deeply grateful that I was able to stop myself before commenting on our matching buttholes and falling down that inescapable rabbit hole.

-A man disputed the price of a movie, requesting I get a manager to do a price check, refusing to budge despite the line growing behind him. After this was resolved and he was proved incorrect, he stationed himself at the end of my lane, explaining to each passing guest the full tale of how my folly had caused the holdup.

-Immigrants are taking our jobs. The wage gap is a myth. Anyone can be rich if they’re not lazy, we live in a misandrist society, and Trump represents everyone’s best interests. Now that only middle-aged white men are still reading this, I would like to ask you all to please stop throwing your items at the conveyor belt or at me.

-As I drove to work, I noted a man leaping and skipping up the street in a very determined manner. Midway through my shift, the same man walked through the store, carrying himself in the same stiff yet exaggerated way. It wasn’t until he stopped dead in his tracks, frozen still, before animatedly starting to walk again that I realize the man was clearly a poorly-programmed NPC. It is hard to believe that all of the work our digital overlords have put into making the reality that is our world simply being a simulation has been entirely unraveled by this one isolated glitch. I now know The Truth and am ready to progress.

-I was very nearly witness to an all-out brawl to the death between a pair of guests, as a woman in her eighties voiced complaints about a man in his sixties’ slow couponing habits, and the man laughed in her face at every word. The most shocking part of all of this was, by far, the fact that I did not get yelled at, myself.

-A young girl picked up a glittery unicorn gift card and told her mom that she needed it, and that if she had it, she could buy anything in the store. This normally would not be so simple, but this keen-eyed youngster knew that this unicorn, like all unicorns; was imbued with a great deal of magic, and could have purchased any item. Luckily, her mother put the card back out of her reach before she could cripple the store’s entire financial security.

Imagine your boss, Dean Winchester, flirting with you every time he can.

“And last but far from least-” you let a small sigh, looking at the door in case someone was coming “Mr Fury asked to see you.”

“Fury? As in Nick Fury?” Dean raised and eyebrow, his interest peaking.

“Exactly. It either has to do with the damage you and Mr Stark caused on your small trip around town or-”

Dean chuckled, leaning back in his chair “Come on (Y/n), we were drunk!”

“That does not justify it. On the contrary, it was reckless to go take his suits while being drunk.” you said with a pointed look and his smile turned into a softer one.

“You know-” he leaned forward so that he was closer to you “I love it when you care so much about me.”

“Mr Winchester.” you scolded softly, not meeting his eyes but still unable to hide a small smile from your face.

“I thought that by now we had agreed on that, sweetheart. It’s Dean.” he said, sounding a little disappointed.

“You know that can’t happen, Mr Winchester.” you mumbled, starting to place all of his files in place. Anything to keep you occupied from looking him in the eyes “I’m your assistant.”

“Well then we can arrange that. I could always fire you.” he gave you a cheeky grin as with wide eyes your head snapped to him.

“What?” you stood there frozen for a second until he started laughing at your expression.

“Just kidding. There’s no way on Earth I would fire my most trusted worker.” he shook his head “Besides, this enterprises would crumble down without you here to be honest.”

“Glad you appreciate my job then, Mr Winchester.” you chuckled with a small sigh of relief, shaking your head at your boss.

He rolled his eyes for a moment “That’s just not going to go away easily, is it?” he huffed, almost disappointed and you bit the inside of your cheek; still not looking at him.

“Wish it could.” you mumbled and saw him from the corner of your eye get up and walk towards you.

“You know it can-” you almost jumped at how close he had gotten without you realizing it, his breath only fanning over your cheek and his hand on your back “It’s all up to you.”

“Mr Winchester please-” you glanced at the door nervously “Someone might walk in. I just- I don’t want them to think I am taking advantage of-”

“Of who? Me? Sweetheart by all means, do so.” he gave you a boyish grin and you couldn’t stop a chuckle at his words, shaking your head.

“No. Of the time I spend with you. I- I worked hard to get this position.”

“I know, I saw it for myself.” he frowned slightly “That’s why you got the promotion.”

“Yeah, well if they see us like this they’re not going to think exactly that Mr Winchester. I don’t want people to assume I am here because I am sleeping with my boss.” you placed a hand on his chest, regretting it but still pushing him away. You couldn’t even dare look him in the eyes, you couldn’t take the heartbroken look on his face.

“But they don’t have to see us, if that’s the problem.” he suggested after a long pause and you frowned.

“What?”

“I mean if that’s what you’re most scared of- we don’t really have to tell everyone. Let them find out on our wedding day.” he added with a wink and you couldn’t help but giggle at him.

“Mr Winchester-” you started with a small whine but you knew you didn’t have an excuse good enough. Honestly you were mostly trying to convince yourself that you couldn’t be with him than him in the first place. Besides, it was your own feelings you had been battling with mostly these days than your boss’s advances and flirty remarks.

“Come on, just give me a chance. You’ll see I’m not that bad!” he threw his arms in the air and you bit your lip.

“Mr-” you stopped yourself “Dean, I know you’re not.” you confessed looking him in the eyes “And I know that if the circumstances were different- I wouldn’t have hesitated for a second. Especially after such a surprise.” you added with a chuckle and he grinned.

“You like them?” he remembered the flowers he had sent to your apartment. One of his many attempts in getting you “Took my brother’s advice in it.”

“The flowers were amazing, really.” you admitted “But I was mostly referring to the sweets, especially the pie.”

“Well, that one was my idea actually.” he confessed, full of pride and you giggled.

“Oh I bet!” you shook your head with a laugh.

“Say-” he spoke up, a hand again being placed on your back “How about I take you out… for pie and burgers and we can make a fresh start?”

“Dean” you sighed “You’re not going to give up, are you?”

“Hell to no.” he confessed.

“May I ask you- why are you so interested in me? Up until a few months ago I was just one of the secretaries until I became your personal assistant. But still- nothing more.” you dared look him in the eyes, only to see confusion written all over his face.

“I think we’ve made it clear that you got this position because you are the only one that actually puts effort into their work. Plus, you’re the only one that knows me so well and doesn’t dress up on purpose to show off and turn me on.” he shrugged, before pressing you close to him “That happens either way.” he added and you rolled your eyes at his cheekiness.

“I’m only wearing a white blouse and pencil shirt.” you mumbled.

“As I said- too fucking hot.” he growled almost in your ear and for the first time you let him kiss your cheek without you pushing him away.

“Dean” the way his name left your lips was definitely something you weren’t planning on.

Dean grinned widely “See? Already getting there-” he licked his lips “Do you really want to know why I am so interested in you?” he said in a low rough voice “Because you’re special. Because every morning you have walked in my office, hair a mess, no make up on and clothes a little a little wrinkled with a few buttons undone-” he paused for a moment, his eyes roaming your body “I can only think of how gorgeous you look, and how I’d love to see this sight every fucking morning. Especially after an intense night of-” he paused grinning up at you, only to see a hint of red on your cheeks.

“Gosh I would so love that.” he breathed out huskily, his breath tingling your lips as his face stood only a few inches away from yours.

“I’m- I’m not that-”

“I swear to god, if you complete that sentence I am just going to grab you and prove you wrong right here and now in any way you can imagine.” he said with a slight growl and you swallowed the lump in your throat, feeling yourself shiver when his hands started traveling. You couldn’t deny you liked it a little too much.

“Do you even know the things you do to me when you lean over my desk?” he whispered, resting his forehead on the side of your head; his lips brushing past your ear “With those tight, black skirts. I’ve had such a fucking hard time concentrating during meetings just because of you. You don’t even have to touch me, hell not even say something and I know I am a goner. I can’t think straight when you are in the same room. And gosh, you’re not even doing it on purpose. You’re so clueless.” he grinned “So adorably clueless.”

“Mr Winchester” you whispered, fisting his suit jacket in your hand.

“And the way you say that- I hated it so much at first, it felt like you put a wall between us. I still do but at the same time-it sounds so innocent, so unintentional that you can’t realize how cute and hot it sounds at the same time.” he chuckled and you bit your lip.

“And as if all of that is not enough you- you are such an amazing woman. You actually listen to me when I need it, you try to understand me and you- you love rock too. You listen to me ramble about my car when my own brother always tries to make me shut up when I do. You actually know so much about me, every side of me, that no other woman I’ve been with has ever known. And that’s only because you are the one interested.”

“I can’t help it you know.” you whispered, looking at him through your eyelashes.

“I know. Trust me baby, I know.” he breathed out, cupping your face and before you had the time to react he crashed his lips to yours.

Fruits - Peter Parker

request -  hi! i was wondering if you could write something about a peter x fem!reader where she’s homeschooled and doesn’t have friends and then she meets peter and they become close ? thanks!!

a/n - i changed the request up a bit, and made the reader tony’s daughter to give it an even more ‘fluffy’ feel to it and i think it failed horribly BUT thank you so much for 1k!!! i can’t even believe all the love i’m getting for these fics, it makes me so happy to know you guys like them :) don’t forget to request a peter parker/spider-man fic if you’d like and follow!

I sat at the dining table just across from the living room, headphones in as I watched a math lesson that was just uploaded onto my school’s website. It was just around 10 AM when my school day started, a bowl of freshly cut fruits on the table as I took notes in my small book, sometimes glancing around to see if something more entertaining was going on.

Being the kid of a billionaire had it’s perks, but some downsides to it as well. Sure, I was able to access anything through money, but I was stuck at home a good 99% of my life, hidden away from the public eye at the request of my father. I’ve never been able to go to school and have a ‘normal’ life, with my only friends being the middle aged people the world calls the Avengers.

I paused the lesson and took my headphones out, heading out to the kitchen counter to pour a cup of coffee for myself, only to hear the door opening.

Guys, I have so much to tell you about Will Roland

I may die penniless, unwed, and forgotten, but I will still die happy because I spent four hours of one long-ago summer in a song interpretation master class taught by Will Roland.

I don’t even know where to BEGIN. To quote Rachel Bay Jones, Will…*bursts into laughter* oh my God, there’s so much Will.

Ramblings about Will Roland under the cut. This is my day with Will Roland.

So apparently, baby ducks can imprint. How what would happen is that one day Derek just walks into Deaton's clinic with about ten baby ducks in his arms, which had been following him around all day since they decided for some reason that he is their mom and refused to let him out of their sight .

Derek totally didn’t name them, but, “I think Patrice has abandonment issues.”

“Abandonment issues?” Deaton asked, blinking, and then “Patrice?”

Derek just glared, averting his gaze. Alright, so he had named him. But only because it made them easier to tell apart. “Yes,” he gritted through his teeth, holding out the baby ducks for Deaton to take. “I can’t look after them. So here, you have to take them.”

Deaton shook his head. “I think you’re doing just fine, Derek,” he said in a way that could either mean ‘fuck off’ or ‘these ducklings are part of some bigger plan that I’m not going to tell you about’ and then walked away. Just like that.

The bastard.

~

Later that evening, Stiles came home to find Derek….and several ducklings on his bed.

“Please tell me that’s not the pack,” was the first thing he said, panicked that he wasn’t feeling just as panicked about that scenario as he should be. He wasn’t going to lie and say the thought of Jackson being turned into a baby duck didn’t amuse him.

Greatly.

“No, it’s not the pack,” Derek answered, rolling his eyes, letting one crawl into his hands. “I think….” he frowned. “I don’t think they have…parents.”

“Oh?” Stiles asked, carefully watching Derek’s face.

“Yeah, “ Derek nodded, all serious and utterly adorable. “And….I don’t know what to do.”  It was hard to read Derek most of the time, but Stiles thought he was getting better at it and this was definitely Derek speak for: ‘I found these baby animals and now I am scared I’m going to hurt them because I don’t have the best track record. SOS, send help, I am a tragic, brooding, beautiful mess’.

Okay, so maybe not the last part. But Stiles was definitely on to Derek.

Derek looked up at Stiles then, as if reading his thoughts, like Stiles had all the answers to the universe. Usually, Stiles was flattered when Derek came to him for help. Well, not flattered, per se. Smug. Smug was the word he’d use. He liked being smug around Derek, his own personal fucked up foreplay. But right now, something different was tingling in the pit of his stomach. He felt warm, and maybe just a little bit helpless. He wasn’t sure if it was a feeling he necessarily liked.

“Well, how about we start with a pond?” he suggested, leaning back against his bedroom door, resisting the urge to grab his phone and snap a picture.

“A pond?” Derek’s eyebrows shot up. “You mean, like, build a pond?” He started shaking his head, like the thought terrified him.

Silly, beautiful wolf.

Stiles shrugged. “Why not? You have the money, don’t you? Plus, I think they like you.” He winked and Derek flushed, right to the tips of his ears. Stiles laughed.

“Come on, sourwolf,” he grinned, shaking his head, picking up his backpack from where he had dumped it on the floor. “Let’s go make us a home.”

~

“It’s your turn to feed them,” Stiles groaned, turning in Derek’s arms. He swore he could hear the ducks already quacking impatiently. “Please, babe, I’ll do anything if I don’t have to get up right now. I’ll even blow you. Twice. It’s so waaaaaarm.” He stretched, like the lazy cat he was, and smiled all the way down to his toes.

“Don’t call me ‘babe’,” was the only reply he received.

Stiles groaned again. “Sweetheart?” he tried, instead. “Honey? Chicken pot pie of my life?”

For that, his Derek Hale shaped cover was snatched away from him.

“What’s wrong with chicken pot pie???” he yelled, heart broken. Utterly, utterly heart broken. No, betrayed. Derek was mean.

“Nothing, if you want to stay married to me, noodle.

Stiles grimaced. Okay, they’d work on their pet names for each other outside of sex later. They couldn’t just stick with ‘asshole’ - it was starting to lose its meaning when they fought.

Shoving a pillow in Derek’s face, because when was that ever not satisfying, Stiles crawled to the side of the bed - and because he had no dignity - rolled out of it. “See if you get any sex when I get back,” he called over his shoulder, grabbing Derek’s boxers on the way out of the door.

Derek only grinned when Stiles looked back, already falling back to sleep.

Stiles refused to find it adorable.

Hers

And there he stands in all his glory, laughing at something Chris Nolan said to him, a glass of whisky in his hand and his arm around her waist. And all I could do was stand here, from afar, watching them.

“He’ll notice if you keep staring, darling.” Anne handed me a glass of champagne.

“I-I-I was not staring. Just looking how wonderful they are together.” I could feel my face turn red by the second.

“Oh, darling, don’t try to fool yourself, I know you have feelings for him.” She smiled lightly at me. “Actually, I always thought you’re going to be together.”

My smile faltered and I looked at the floor. Silly Y/N, of course Anne knew. Apparently, everybody did! The boys, Gemma, Lou and now Anne. Clearly, I am not very good in hiding my feelings for my best friend. The guy who knows me better than anyone and yet can’t realize how much I adore him.

Harry and I have been friends since we were kids, really. Eventually we went separate ways: He went out to become the biggest celebrity out there and I went to college. Even though we lived in different worlds, we never stopped talking. We’re still best friends even after all this time.

I love him.

But it wasn’t always like this. When we’re younger, our parents used to tell us we would eventually get married. We’re too perfect for each other, that’s something we always knew, even though we didn’t have this types of feeling for each other.

It was in my senior year of college that this said feelings started to show. I spent a few weeks with him and the boys while they’re on tour and suddenly I started to fall for my best friend. If you have seen any movie out there, you would think that the feeling was mutual and we’re happily ever after. Not how things turned out, I’m afraid to tell you. I spent 6 weeks trying to find a way to tell him my feelings, even asked for the boys’ help, but when I was close to figure a way out, he met her. And gosh, how much he adored her. Since the beginning!

You know that stupid line that said when you love someone, you gotta let them go and find their happiness? His happiness was she and I couldn’t stand in the way of that. Even though I knew I loved him more than she could ever love him, it was time for me to set him free.

So I came back. Came to the UK, finished college and found a job I actually like. My life is all put together, as Harry likes to remind me. He’s right, my life is put together, except for my love life. I tried so hard to get over him, to not have feelings for him. I dated, I tried everything I could, but he was always there, in the back of my mind, even when I met my ex-boyfriend, Daniel. We broke up a few months later because he knew I had feelings for my best friend. Poor Dan, such a nice guy and I couldn’t love him.

Harry came back home. And moved in with her, much to my dismay. They’re together for 3 years now and they don’t seem to be breaking up anytime soon. I’m not gonna lie, I’ve thought about telling him, just to get it out of my chest, but I can’t. I cannot ruin this for him. I would rather suffer in silence than ruin his happiness and our friendship.

“Have you thought about telling him?” She asked me while we watched the couple from afar.

“I did.” I whispered. “I just can’t. He’s happy, Anne. He deserves to be happy.”

“My son is a fool, darling. He doesn’t know, but he does have feelings for you. A mother always know and I’m telling you he does. But I understand your side, I just don’t wanna see you both losing time with other people when you could be together!”

I breathed a laugh. Anne was always our biggest supporter, so it’s not a shock to me she would rather me with her son than his actual girlfriend. The poor girl is not a bad girl; she’s just not right for him.

She doesn’t get it how he can be such a morning person, always waking up at a 100%, telling everyone ‘good morning’ in his raspy voice. She thinks its annoying, but the truth is if he doesn’t do this, we’ll go back to sleep and miss his whole day. She doesn’t get his obsession for good health, but if she just asked him about it, she would understand he actually believes that those junk foods can kill you slowly, and he can’t lose anyone in his life, so we all have to eat health food. At least around him. She doesn’t understand how he can feel so down after reading mean comments on the internet, because for her how could The Harry Styles feel anything less than perfect?! He thinks he’s not worth it, even though he truly does deserve everything good that ever happened to him. However, he has insecurities, because by the end of the day, he is just Harry. And all he really wants is cuddles and a few reassurance words that those people are just mean people and are not telling the truth.

She doesn’t know him and a part of me thinks she just doesn’t want to. Yes, she knows what he likes for breakfast, what calms him when his in a bad mood, but she doesn’t know the little things I do.

It’s sad, if you think about it. He’s been with her for 3 years and she doesn’t get him. Maybe that’s why when he needs someone, he runs to me. He runs to my house at 3 A.M just so he could talk about his bad day. She never saw him cry, because he only cries when we’re alone and he can truly show his feelings. I’m the first person he calls when something good or bad happens. I’m his emergence contact in the hospital, I’m his safe place to go when he needs to just take a break. I’m the one who could leave her whole life on hold, just to take care of him when needed.

It’s sad because even thought I am his person, I’m not his and he’s not mine. She has him and I can’t truly express how much I wish that could be me.

“He looks nervous.” I pointed out to Anne.

“I was about to ask you this… Do you know why? He’s been like this for a few weeks now.” She looked deep in thought, trying to find a reason for her son odd behavior.

“I think…” I was interrupted by Louis, who looked out of breath.

“You need to stop him, he will make a terrible mistake, please Y/N, stop him!”

“Louis, what’s going on? What are you talking about? Breathe, Lou.”

“You don’t get it, he’ll…”

“Can I have everyone’s attention, please?” Harry called out from the center of the room. The party quickly died down, waiting for his speech. “I would like to thank you all for coming to my Dunkirk party. It’s so nice to enjoy the movie’s success with all of you, so thank you!”

Everyone around the room clapped and Louis was fussing by side. He looks nervous and I couldn’t understand why.

“As you know this is a special night for me and I wanted to be even more special. Lexa, can you come here, darling?” He asked his girlfriend to join him and I could already feel the tension growing around me. Anne, Louis, Niall, Liam, Lou and Gemma surrounded me and we all were just waiting for something to happen. Anything.

“Lexa, we’ve been together for 3 years next week and I feel so blessed to have you by side. I was smitten with you since the moment I saw you, you can ask Y/N for confirmation.” Everybody laughed a little and I could feel a knot in my through already. “So, in this special date for me and surrounded by friends and family, I would like to ask you…” he got down on one knee. “Will you marry me?”

And just like that my world stopped. I couldn’t hear anything, but I could see her nod and everyone clap for them. I think the boys were talking to me, but I could barely understand what was happening.

He proposed to her.

He is hers.

She is his.

And just like that I realized that all these years loving him, taking care of him, weren’t enough to make him fall for me. I was a silly girl who believed in the fairy tale that everyone thought we would live. I loved him with everything in me, I was always his but he was never mine.

And just like that I ran out of the party, leaving everyone – including the love of my life – behind.

I was always his.

He was never mine.

He was always hers.

love letters ❥ peter parker

summary : peter, hopeless romantic that he is, has a cache of love letters, all addressed to you, hidden under his bed and expertly crafted. he never anticipated them being read, or the feelings he has for you being returned.

word count : 3.1k (holy fucking hell i’m sorry)

Peter couldn’t help it, the way that he was. He was a romantic at a heart, though the awkwardness of him had a tendency to prevail rather than the confident, smooth talking, small part of him that had a desperate desire to reveal itself. Spider-man was as suave as a fifteen year old boy could be; Peter Parker was awkward, inept at participating in normal, human conversation and often incapable of forming coherent sentences more often than not. He wasn’t the best at talking to people besides Ned and Aunt May and- on occasion- Tony Stark. Especially not you. If there was one person that he turned into an absolute bumbling, ridiculous mess around, it was you. He loathed himself for it, sure that you thought that he was weird, annoying, the same way that anyone who didn’t know him assumed he was.

Ned, however, continuously insisted that you found Peter to be a sweetheart, like anyone who got to know him well enough did, and that you liked him very much- perhaps more than a friend, though Peter had immediately scoffed at the notion. It was out of the question, downright ludicrous. But, of course, Ned had implanted the idea in Peter’s head, and now the boy’s ever creative mind refused to stop constructing various scenarios in which you were Peter’s girlfriend and he was as happy as he had ever been.

While he had been a perfectly charming boyfriend in each and every one of those little dream sequences of his, he was hopelessly lost for words whenever you approached him, unable to even ask what class you had next, let alone reveal the pure adoration he had been holding on to ever since you had been placed beside him in Bio in your freshman year. You had always been the one to stick up for him and smile at him and treat him like a decent human being, and so of course he fell for you, and now he could barely look you in the eye without his cheeks turning a lovely shade of pink. So, he bottled his feelings and let them out in a way he had never known could help him.

    He wrote.

He wrote to you every single day and poured his heart out in every single letter and expressed every thought he knew, in his heart, he would never be able to say out loud. Writing what he felt was so much simpler than saying the words out loud. That was what he assumed, anyhow. He took his pen and placed it down on the paper, starting it the same way he always did.

Dear Y/N… As always, the words spilled over from his mind to the paper as if he wasn’t thinking, just writing and writing and writing until he had filled two pages without lifting his curly head from the paper once. When he finally finished, a yawn stretching across his mouth, he noticed Aunt May standing outside his door. He turned his chair around, raising his eyebrows at her.

“Writing to that pretty girl again?” She asked, hand on her hip but wearing a knowing, soft grin. Peter, not bothering to feign shock, nodded solemnly and placed his pen down the paper. “You should think about maybe, oh I don’t know, actually giving her one of the letters you’ve written?”

Adamantly, Peter shook his head. “May, I could never. You don’t get it.” He swiveled around in the chair, spinning it until he was dizzy. “These letters are embarrassing. They’re practically my whole heart and soul on a piece of paper. She’d scream and run away if she read how I felt about her.” He sighed, placing his elbow on the edge of the desk and resting his cheek in his hand. He stared up at his aunt, still craving her sage advice. May stared back at him thoughtfully.

“Well, in my personal experience,” she came over and gave Peter’s shoulder a squeeze, eyeing the letter that was signed with Peter’s name, “girls are suckers for love letters. And you Parker men write the best ones out there. Trust me.”

Peter bit his lip. “Yeah, sure, I’m not an awful writer. But, I still can’t give them to her. I just can’t.” Before she could say anything else, he was folding it up and placing it on top of the shelf on his desk next to his books for English. “Uncle Ben was different. He was charming. You know that.”

    May smiled wistfully. “I do.”

“And that’s one thing that I didn’t get from him,” Peter finished, shrugging his shoulders as he stood up from his swivel chair. “It’s fine.” He waved it off. “I’m happy suffering in silence. I’m gonna go to bed. Big English project starts tomorrow. Love you,” he kissed May on the cheek as she left his bedroom, switching the light off in her departure. He stared at the wall once he was situated in bed, mulling the conversation over in his head. Maybe May’s right. Maybe telling Y/N wouldn’t be as bad as I’m thinking. Maybe I’m overreacting. Actually, never mind. She probably hates me. Ugh. Life sucks.

That morning, when he arrived in his English class, you were sitting in the seat that had been previously occupied by Ned pretty much every class since the beginning of the school year. Sucking in a breath, Peter took his first step into the classroom. He knew he was a little late to today’s lesson, but he hadn’t realized he was a full fifteen minutes behind schedule. Ned was in the back with Michelle, giving Peter an encouraging thumbs up when he noticed his best friend finally arrive on the scene. Peter gave him the finger.

“Mr. Parker, lovely for you to join us!” Ms. Matthews declared when he decided to shove himself through the door, his heart jackhammering away in his chest and making its way up to his throat. He kind of wanted to throw up.

“Um, yeah, well, you know, sleep and whatnot- overslept, haha,” he coughed out a laugh, scratching the back of his neck. The teacher nodded with faux sympathy, though he could tell she didn’t care that much for his explanation. “I’ll just, um, sit. Down.”

“Next to Y/N, please,” She instructed, waving her hand in your direction. “Since you were late and unable to choose your own partner, surprising since usually Ned is so eager to work with you, Y/N offered to be your partner.” The teacher gave you a fond smile, as every teacher did. “She can explain the details of the assignment.”

Peter gave her a stiff nod before sliding into his chair, and you noticed how rigid he was as he turned toward you with a slight frown. He seemed extremely upset to be working with you, but you wouldn’t let that get in the way. You liked Peter. Really, truly liked him. He was a sweetie whenever he actually talked to and different than the rest of the guys at Midtown. He was genuine.

Giving him your full attention, you beamed at him. “Hey, Peter,” you said cheerfully. He gave you a small smile in return, wringing his hands under the desk. He couldn’t stop fidgeting. Your own smile dropped, which he noticed immediately and felt awful about. “Sorry you didn’t get paired up with Ned,” you continued, taking your books out of your shoulder bag. “I know you would’ve preferred it that way-”

“No!” He interrupted quickly, practically slamming his hands down on the desk so hard you jumped in your seat, eyes wide. “Sorry, sorry, I just, um,” he laughed a little, his cheeks burning, “I’m, um, happy to have you as a partner. Really, I am,” he added as an afterthought, just to make sure you knew.

Your shoulders relaxed as you looked at him. “You’re not just saying that, right? You seem awfully stiff,” you teased, poking his uncomfortably positioned arm as you quirked a brow.

“Do I?” He was practically sweating.

“I was just joking, Pete. It’s cute, anyway.” Peter’s eyes, a shade of brown that you had come to think of as warm as honey, went wide and he gaped at you, but you pretended not to notice. “So, for the assignment we have to write a short story based on one of the assigned reading books this year.”

   She called me cute

“Shit… I think I forgot all of mine,” you were mumbling, your head practically stuck in your bag. “Did your bring yours, Peter?”

Oh my god, she thinks I’m cute. She thinks I’m cute. I’m going to faint

You snapped your fingers in front of his cherry red face, trying not to appear as amused as you felt. He blinked owlishly, an apologetic half smile, half grimace on his face. He was cute most of the time, but especially when he smiled, even if it was only a forced, awkward one. “Do you have your books, Peter?” You repeated kindly.

“Um, sorry, I’ll check,” he answered, embarrassed about his utterly obvious staring that had just occurred. He rummaged around in his backpack before realizing he had forgotten them, as well. He popped back up, curls in disarray as his head brushed against the fabric of his bag. “I forgot them, sorry,” he ran a hand through his hair, messing it up even more. It was kind of adorable.

“You need to stop apologizing for everything, Pete,” you laughed. “It’s fine. We can get started after school. My place or yours?” You were already packing your things, and before he could think about what he was about to do, he said, “Mine.”

“Cool,” you grinned again, a grin that made him want to smile for the rest of his life. “Which one of is doing the writing? Or do you want to split it?”

“You’re a, um, fantastic writer,” he told you, having read your submissions to the school newspaper more times than he could count. “If you wanna take over, you can. I can edit and stuff.”

“Aw, I’m not that good,” you shook your head abashedly, looking down at your lap. “But thank you, Peter. I’m sure you’re great, too, though. Are you sure you don’t wanna write some of it?”

“I’m not much of a writer.”

So, you were in Peter Parker’s room. He was having his third heart attack of the day, and was incredibly grateful that he had managed to keep his wits about him for majority of the day. He had only tripped over his words five times, tripped literally twice, and dropped his Metro card once, but it was fine. You helped him back each time he fell with your usual grace, barely acknowledging his multiple social faux pas and only laughing once because he fell over a small dog- which even he would admit was pretty funny.

Still, his palms were sweaty around you and he didn’t know how he was going to survive working so close to you for the next week while the English assignment was occurring. He lead you into his apartment and you noticed that his hands were shaking slightly as he twisted the keys in the lock. You walked into the apartment, the first thing crossing your mind was how cozy and homelike it was. You liked it very much.

“It’s really cute in here,” you said, smiling around the room as Peter busied himself with a glass of water. He downed it quickly. “Where’s your aunt?”

“Work,” he replied, catching his breath after the gulping down of his water. “Here, let’s go to my room.” He placed his glass of water on the counter and motioned for you to follow him, opening the door to his room and wincing at the mess in there. “It’s a mess, sorry about that.”

You rolled your eyes at him playfully. “Didn’t I say stop apologizing?” You entered his room as if you had been there many times before, taking your shoes off and setting them by the door. You threw your bag on his bed and took a seat in his swivel chair, and he liked how natural it seemed for you to be in his room. He liked how comfortable you were, sitting there. Something about it made him happy.

“Yeah, my bad,” he shrugged. You tilted your head, pointing your finger at him while he raised his hands defensively. “It wasn’t technically an apology!” He took a step out of the room. He was finally being normal around you, he realized delightedly. He would still need more water, though. He could feel his mouth getting dry. “I’m gonna get more water. Want anything?” You shook your head, spinning around in the chair as he left.

Your eyes scanned over his desk, taking in every inch of Peter Parker’s life. He had bad books stacked everywhere, his desk was a mess, there were clothes thrown about the room. Star Wars posters, Avengers posters, notes scattered across the desk. You admired the artful messiness of it all. You leaned up to where his English books were, spotting the one you were most interested in and yanking it off the shelf. As you did, a folded piece of paper fluttered down off the shelf, just when Peter was walking back into the room.

“I thought you said you weren’t a writer, Pete,” you raised your eyebrows at him, holding the letter in your hand and waving it at him.

He almost threw up right there. “Um, I’m not, please give that back,” he reached for it, but you jumped out of the chair, raising the letter high in the air. “Y/N!” He whined, grabbing for it again. “C’mon, please,” he pleaded desperately, pouting at you with such intensity it almost made you want to give it to him.

“Can’t I just read a sentence, Peter?” You pushed out your bottom lip, batting your eyelashes at him.

He almost gave in. “No, Y/N. Seriously, give it back.” He sounded scared now, upset as well. You pursed your lips, handing it back to him. He was so anxious about you reading it that it dropped on the floor, opening far enough so that you could see your name scrawled across the top in Peter’s defining chicken scratch handwriting.

“That says my name, so now I have to read it.” You stood directly in front of Peter, hands pressed together in a pleading motion, the expression on your face so genuinely interested that he had to give it to you. He picked it back up with a lump in his throat and handed it over, scared as ever. But this was what May had advised. Maybe she’d be right.

“Dear Y/N,” you read aloud in a loud, terrible accent, glancing back up at Peter as you read the line after that. He was staring down at the floor, preparing himself for what you were going to say when you read the letter, read his heart. You sat in his chair, realizing it’d be better if you didn’t read it so publicly. He sat down on his bed, waiting.

Dear Y/N. This is maybe the tenth letter I’ve written to you, and each time I say the same thing, so if one day you are reading this in proper succession, I’m sorry for being so utterly repetitive. You’ll probably never read this, though. And that’s why it’s so easy for me to write. I think you’re the only person to ever truly be interested in me when I’m talking about science. Not even Ned has an attention span that long. But you do. And you don’t know how much I want to thank you for that. You make it really difficult to not like you, to not be in love with you. I think that’s what it is… love. And if I’m not in love with you yet, then I’m certainly falling for you. Who wouldn’t? You’re a wonderful person without trying, you’re a beautiful hurricane, a sunset on the horizon of my bleakest hours, and you make me feel as if I’ve been standing in the sunshine for my entire life.

You put the letter down, smoothing it over your lap. You didn’t need to read the rest. That was enough. Peter gazed at you now, the way you’ve yearned to be looked at before, and you shamed yourself for being so blind these past two years. He wasn’t simply just staring. He was looking. Admiring. You slid next to Peter, placing the letter behind you. He moved his hand, curling his fingers around yours tentative as ever. Your free hand grazed up the side of his face, toying with the hair on the back of his neck before resting on his cheek. He shut his eyes. When he opened them again, you were so close that he was able to count each individual eyelash that you had, every single fleck of pure beauty in your deep eyes.

“I like you very much, Peter Parker,” you murmured. He felt his heart soar, and then, he felt himself kiss you. It was an out of body experience. He was there, he was the one kissing you, the one who had initiated it, but it felt like he wasn’t. He was up in the clouds, too far lost in the way it felt to run his hands through your hair as he had always dreamed of to notice Aunt May sneaking past the door, overjoyed to see Peter finally with the girl he had been loving in silence for far too long. You pulled away from each other, eyes opening slowly and hesitantly and your lips practically still connected.

He wanted to tell her that he adored her, but Aunt May’s voice flowed from the kitchen too loud to overpower his thoughts. “You read her the letter, didn’t you? I told you it’d work! Worked for your Uncle Ben and I was right as I always am!”

He jumped up from the bed, sticking his head out of the doorway and pressing his finger to his lips. “Maaaayyyy, you’re embarrassing me,” he whispered-yelled, practically whined. “You were right, okay? Thank you, let me go get a girlfriend now. The girlfriend.” She beamed at him, but no one’s smile could shine brighter than Peter’s.

He retreated back into the room, and you were clutching the letter in your hands. You looked up at him hopefully. “I was thinking that maybe you could read me the other nine letters. If you’re up for it.”

Peter couldn’t possibly say no, taking a page out of his Uncle Ben’s book the way he should have done in the first place as he found the hiding spot for the stack of letters he had been writing for the past few months, sliding them over to you and feeling confident for the first time in a long time.

Unrequited (Peter Parker x Reader)

a/n: Okay, I’m not new to writing or anything but this IS my first post on this brand spanking new account! I hope you guys like it!

warning: lots of angst and all that

summary: reader pines after Peter, who doesn’t realize it as he’s infatuated with Liz

I can’t say my heart didn’t break a little more each and every time I caught Peter staring at or blushing over Liz Allen. She was so freaking gorgeous, and in all honesty perfect in every single way, except for her personality maybe. Even though Peter and I had been the best of friends for years, I could never compare to how much love and adoration he had for the girl, and it broke me every single day.

I sighed heavily, trying to shake the depressing thoughts from my mind as I continued walking to school. I don’t know how it happened and I wish it never had, but one day I just woke up and saw Peter in a whole new way. He had just come over to my apartment for our weekly movie night, which had been our tradition since we were little kids.

I heard a knock sound from the front door, signaling that my best friend was probably waiting on the other side.

“Come in Peter! The doors open!” I shook my head, since he should already know that after coming to my house countless of times.

The door creaked open and there he was, with his cute little smile, wearing a red hoodie and a pair of baggy sweatpants. For some reason, my breath hitched as I took his appearance in. He looked so unbelievably cute, with his curly brown hair all messed up and ruffled like that. He was holding two grocery bags in each of his hands, overflowing with what I could only assume was junk food. My eyes lit up as I practically ran over to him and snatched the bags out of his hands. I looked inside and saw all my favorite chips, ice cream, candy, you name it.

I squealed and hugged him tightly, “You’re seriously the best Petey, I don’t know what I did to deserve a friend as amazing as you.”

He laughed, putting his arm around my shoulders and pulling me into his side as he kissed my forehead. “Anything for the best girl in the entire universe.”

I blushed madly and pushed him away, “Shut up you dork, now let’s go watch some movies.”

He chuckled and led us over to the couch, as we spent the rest of the night cuddled into each other as we laughed, talked, and ate our hearts away. I couldn’t shake the butterflies growing in my stomach, and the electricity I felt when our bodies touched. His warmth had never felt so comforting to me, and hearing his voice was sending my heart into a frenzy.

I looked at him while he was laughing at a stupid joke in the movie, watching as the colorful lights from the tv screen reflected on his face. My heart swelled with an emotion I had never felt before as I found myself smiling at the adorable guy sitting next to me. He was so full of happiness and life, and it was so infectious that I found myself being happy just by being in the same room as him. In that moment, I felt myself falling for none other than my best friend, Peter Parker.

Tears welled up into my eyes as I realized that he would never feel the same way about me. That night took place over 2 years ago, with us being in our Junior year of high school now. All this time, he’s never even sent a signal my way that he felt the same way. So here I was, pining over someone I could never have, pathetic.

I walked into the school, feeling like I had one of those cartoon rain clouds over my head. I really, really tried not to think about my undying love for Peter Parker since I would get into depressive episodes like this, but it’s kind of hard to when the dude is literally everywhere I go. You know, since he’s my best friend and all.

I threw my locker door open in a huff, roughly getting all the books I’m going to need for the day. A figure leaned on the lockers next to mine, and I already knew who it was before I even had to look. Speak of the devil.

“You look like you had a rough morning, wanna talk about it?” Peter asked, crossing his arms and smiling softly at me. His hair was particularly messy and curly today, and it made me want to run my hands through it and feel how soft it was.

I gave him a small smile and just shrugged at him as I closed my locker door, walking off as he followed me to our first class, which was history.

“Ooookay so I’m taking that as a no…but you know I’m here for you whenever you need me alright?” He said, making it even harder for me to stay sad about something that he obviously had no control over. It wasn’t his fault that I fell stupidly in love with him. Or maybe it is, I don’t know.

I sighed, closing my eyes and leaning onto his shoulder. “Yea I’m totally fine Pete, sorry, it’s just that I barely had any sleep last night,” I lied, forcing a smile at him and looping my arm through his as we walked down the hallway.

He looked at me suspiciously, not entirely believing me but deciding to let it go as we sat down at our desks, which were right next to each other. I internally thanked him, happy he didn’t probe into my problems any further.

Classes seemed to go on for hours, but it was finally lunch time. I was in a better mood by now as Ned and Peter’s dumb jokes made me laugh until my lungs hurt. I threw a green pea at Peter’s head, laughing as it struck his eye and fell onto the floor.

Peter’s face scrunched up in mock pain as he looked at me through squinted eyes, “Oh I am so getting you back for that (y/n)!” He threatened, pointing an accusatory finger at me as he rubbed his eye.

I stuck my tongue out at him, “Oh yea? Whatcha gonna do about it Parker?” I teased, slapping his hand away from my face.

Before he could come up with something, Michelle piped up from the end of the lunch table. “You guys are so immature,” she said with a bored face, rolling her eyes at us.

“If we’re so immature, then why do you sit with us?” Ned questioned, looking at her weirdly. Michelle shrugged boredly and went back to reading her book without answering him.

“Okayyy then…well anyw-” I was cut off as a literal roll of bread hit the side of my face. My eyes widened in shock as I slowly turned away from Michelle and faced my attacker with my mouth wide open. Ned was trying to hold in his laugh while he put his hands up in defense and pointed at Peter, who was laughing loudly at me and holding his stomach as he tried to breath through his laughter.

I glared at the adorable boy across from me, “Do you wanna fight, dork?” I laughed slightly, trying to keep a straight face on.

“I could beat you any day, (y/n). Just name the time and place.” He said cockily, leaning his head on his hand as he tried to wink at me, and failed miserably.

I giggled at his silliness and tried to come up with a witty reply, but just settled for rolling my eyes at him and patting his cheek. I looked up at the clock and quickly packed my stuff up seeing as there was only 2 minutes of lunch left.

“I’ll see you guys later,” I smiled at all of them, before taking one last longing glance at Peter and making my way out of the cafeteria.

After the last bell rang, I creeped up behind Peter while he was putting his stuff away in his locker and put my hands over his eyes.

“Guess whooo!” I giggled, face reddening when I realized how close we were.

Peter seemed to realize it too as he nervously stuttered out my name and slowly turned around, looking down at me and giving me a small smile, a soft blush on his cheeks. He didn’t step away, and we were so close that I could feel his breath fan across my face.

His gorgeous brown eyes stared into my own, and I felt as if the world around us faded away and it was just the two of us in that crowded hallway. My breath caught in my throat as I looked up at him, taking note of all his features and thinking about kissing those perfect pink lips of his.

He suddenly seemed to snap out of whatever trance we were both in, clearing his throat and stepping away from me, widening the space between us. My heart dropped in disappointment at the sudden distance. I soon understood why he stepped away as right on queue, Liz Allen walked by us and stopped and turned to Peter. She put her hand on his arm, much to my discomfort.

“Hey Pete!” she giggled, blinking her lashes at him like a ditzy school girl. “I was wondering if you could come over to my house tonight and help me with my science project?”

“H-hey Liz! Uhm y-yeah! I would love to! I mean that would be n-nice I guess, I love doing science projects..and sciencey things, a-and yeah!” his voice sounded out as he tried to talk to Liz through his nervousness.

By this point, Peter was beet red with embarrassment as he tried to maintain eye contact with Liz.

“Great! Thanks so much cutie, I owe you one,” Liz giggled, kissing his cheek as she turned around and strutted away from us. My blood boiled at the sight and how she talked to him. She didn’t even acknowledge my existence throughout that whole conversation.

Peter grabbed my shoulders excitedly as he shook me lightly.

“(Y/n)! Did you see that?? I get to spend time with Liz tonight!” He babbled excitedly, looking down at you with the biggest grin.

My chest hurt as I looked at the effect Liz had on him, wishing that it was me who could make him feel like this.

I faked a smile at him, taking a step back and closing my eyes so I could breathe.

“But our weekly movie night is tonight, Pete. We’re supposed to have a Disney movie marathon,” I frowned, looking up at him as I tried my best to keep my eyes from watering.

“I’m sorry (y/n), we can do it next week! You know how important Liz is to me. I’ve had a crush on her for so long and this is finally my chance!” Peter pleaded, trying to get my approval. He reached his hand out to my face subconsciously and pushed a stray hair behind my ear.

I closed my eyes as I tried to keep my heart from beating out of my chest. I pushed his hand away and started backing away from him, feeling hurt and betrayed. Obviously spending time with Liz was more important than our tradition that had been unscathed for years. He never missed movie night with me.

“Whatever Peter. Have fun with her.” I scoffed running away from him and out of the school.

I heard him calling out my name, but I ignored it as hot tears slid down my face. I am, and never will be good enough for Peter Parker.

Mind the Ferns
Tan skin rippled across taut muscles, delicately framing the sinewed shape of lean, strong arms that glistened with beads of sweat mixed with dirt.

“D’you get a new landscaper, Nick?” you asked your friend, continuing to watch as the man knelt over a flowerbed while yanking out weeds. He tossed it aside into a bucket for clippings, and as if he felt your gaze on him, he turned around and spotted you standing at the window. Catching the way you straightened, affirming that you had been staring at him, he chuckled with a smirk, wiping his damp brow with the back of his hand and turned back to his task.

“Hmm?” Nick asked, coming out of the fridge with two beers and handing one of them to you. He caught sight of your shy expression and the man working hard out in his garden, nodding as he understood your question. “No, that’s Harry. He owns the company, but I guess they’re understaffed since Harry’s covering for Marcus while he’s on holiday. We hang out sometimes–he’s pretty chill. Watch romcoms together. He’ll be hangin’ around after he’s finished.”

You were only half listening as your attention fell back to the man—Harry, as Nick had said—watching his back curve perfectly as he struggled with a stubborn weed, the hem of his florescent yellow t-shirt riding up to expose more tanned skin and more sweat.

“Alright, then,” Nick continued, with an annoyed yet amused smile as he took a sip of his beer. “Let’s head outside so you can enjoy the view.”

“Sure,” you agreed without thinking about his comment. Head in the clouds, you followed him toward the sliding glass door that led out to the patio, stepping halfway through before realizing what he said. “Hey!”

“What?” he laughed. “Should I have added, more than you already are?” he teased. You had to laugh because of course he was right, and honestly you didn’t mind removing the layer of glass between you and this gardener from the heavens.

A/N: wow I went overboard with this and it’s really all over the place so if you’re confused feel free to message me so I can make things clearer.

This is my first imagine for Harry Hook so I don’t really have his character down yet, also I really hate the ending but I didn’t want it to go on forever so I needed to finish it up.

Being the fifth wheel in a group of some of the most infamous VK’s has never been Y/N’s ideal life, but when approached by the four most feared kids on an island, one does not simply say no.

She hangs around as almost a form of protection, the stigma of the four keeping others away from her. Almost like a security blanket, she can count on having a place in the corner of Mal’s apartment, even if she only stood in the shadows.

Then one day that protection vanishes, the core four summoned to Auradon on Prince Ben’s orders, leaving her behind with nothing.

Two months later she makes her way down an alley way, tugging down the sleeves on her jacket as she nears Ursula’s Chip Shop.

Practically the entire restaurant freezes as she enters, drawing the attention of two teens in particular.

“Well well well,” the teal haired girl sing-songs, dropping a tray onto a table as she walks by, “what do we have here?”

She walks up to the girl, eyebrows raised.

“Tell me Harry,” Uma asks, circling around the her, “are we taking in strays?”

“Hm, I dunno,” the boy replies, smirk on his face, “she’s cute though, maybe we should keep her. I could use another play thing.”

“I just came for food,” Y/N replies, crossing her arms over her chest, “not to join some kiddy pirate crew.”

Uma place a hand on Harry’s chest before he can rush forward, her eyebrows raised slightly.

“Impressive,” she mutters, nodding, “take a seat, I’ll have a server sent your way.”

The girl sits down on a stool, all to aware of the boy who now occupies the seat next to her.

“It’s a shame darlin’,” he drawls, leaning his chin on his hand, “we could’ve had lots of fun together.”

“Never thought you’d want anything to do with me,” she replies, raising an eyebrow, “last I checked I was part of Mal’s crew, not Uma’s.”

“And last time I checked,” Harry smirked, “your little crew are now frolicking around the fields of Auradon, and you’re still here. No crew, no friends, no nothing.”

The girl clenches her fist under the table, swallowing back her words.

“Your point?” She asks.

The pirate smirks, twirling his hook around in his hand.

“Just plotting love,” he says, standing up, “I’ll see you ‘round.”

That is the first of many encounters with the infamous pirate teen, it seems as if every time she turns a corner he’s there, a smirk on his face, the hook in his hand and a backhanded complement dripping off his lips.

Four months after Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos left for Auradon she’s walking through the Isle, hands shoved in her pockets.

“Hello there love,” he says from behind her, a half smile appearing on her face, “fancy seeing you here.”

“Is it?” She asks, keeping her stride as Harry falls into step next to her. “Don’t you know where I am at all times? Isn’t that the job of a stalker?”

“I’m offended you would even think I would stoop to that level,” he says, placing a hand on his heart in fake shock.

“What do you want Hook?” She questions, leaning against the brick wall.

“I’ve got a proposition for you,” he replies.

“Do you now?” She smirks. “And is this your proposition or Uma’s?”

“Both,” Harry answers, twirling his necklace around in his fingers, “come to the chip shop tonight, two a.m. We want to talk.”

With that, the pirate turns on his heel and walks down the alley.

“And if I don’t?” She calls.

“You will.”

And she does, at two a.m. on the dot she shoves her way into the shop, one hand on her hip.

“She’s a prompt one,” Uma says from the back.

“Mother always taught me to be on time,” she says sarcastically, making her way towards her.

“Mother’s always give the best advice,” Uma replies, gesturing for the girl to sit down.

“So what is this,” Y/N asks, “I’ve already told you that I don’t have any info on Mal and her friends, haven’t heard from any of them since they left.”

“Nah it ain’t about that,” Uma shakes her head, leaning on her elbows on the counter, “I want…well, we want you to join our crew. Not an entry level type thing, I want you up with us, with me and Harry and Gil. I wanna add a fourth to our ranks.”

“Why me?” She questions, leaning forward. “You could get anyone on this island, especially since Mal left, so why me?”

“Power,” Uma shrugs, “simple as that. You were on Mal’s crew, you’ve got status here. You need a crew and I need a fourth member, figured we could help each other out.”

“You’d be willing to work with me?” Y/N questions, noticing Harry lurking in the background. “And your crew would too?”

“They don’t have a choice,” Uma replies, “but yes, I am willing.”

“And you?” Y/N throws her question at Harry, keeping her eyes trained on Uma.

She sees Harry smirk from the corner of her eye.

“Welcome aboard princess.”

A few days later Y/N joins the pirate crew aboard their ship, arms crossed over her chest.

“I’ll teach you the ropes,” Harry says, “literally and figuratively. You’ll pick it up in no time.”

The two teens spend practically every minute of every day together for the next few weeks, becoming incredibly close incredibly fast.

“We’ve been working hard all day love,” Harry says, leaning against the mast as the girl turns to look at him, “let’s go on a walk.”

“You sure Uma is okay with that?” She asks, quirking an eyebrow.

“Uma doesn’t control every single thing I do,” he rolls his eyes, “c'mon, lets have a rest.”

“Walk me down the beach?” She suggests, holding her hand out to him.

Harry takes it gladly.

“After you princess.”

The two teens walk down the sand, hands still intertwined.

“So I know that ‘dating’ isn’t really a thing here,” she starts, “but you and Uma…is that a thing or?”

“Me and Uma?” The pirate laughs. “Nah, we’re just mates, the best of friends I would say. We’ve been friends since we were toddlers. Why?”

“Just curious,” she shrugs, staring at the shore line.

“I would call dating a thing here though,” Harry says, “it maybe be different than what they have there at Boradon,” Y/N laughs at his nickname for the mainland, “but it’s still a thing. We may be villains, but we’re allowed to fall in love, to get as close to a happy ending as possible.”

“You think we deserve that?” Y/N asks. “Cause I think the people over there think we deserve to pay for the sins of our parents.”

“Doesn’t matter what they think,” Harry replies, “they don’t know what life’s like over here, they don’t get a say in what we deserve.”

“I like that,” she smiles.

“I like you,” Harry says, biting down slightly on his lip as he looks at her.

“Yeah?” She asks, a half smile on her face as the boy nods. “I like you too.”

Harry’s smirk widens, his hand squeezing hers as they continue to walk down the beach.

“We should head back soon,” Y/N says quietly, “I promised Uma I’d cover a shift at the shop tonight.”

“Kiss me first,” Harry says, turning her around so they’re face to face instead of next to each other, “then we’ll go back.”

She does as he asks, smiling as she presses her lips to his. She feels his hand cup her cheek, the slight sea breeze blowing through her hair.

“More of that later?” She questions, causing Harry to smirk again.

“Much more of that later, love,” he says, taking his hat off of his head and placing it on hers, “much more.”

Six months after Mal left the Isle, she came back. Y/N sits in Ursula’s shop, she felt Mal’s presence before Harry even told her.

“She’s back isn’t she,” the girl asks as her boyfriend plops into the seat next to her, “I can feel it.”

“Yeah, she is,” Harry replies, “saw her at Tremaine’s salon, how are you doing?”

“I guess ’m okay,” she shrugs, “but that girl essentially left me for dead, right now all I want to do is see the look on her face when she realizes I thrived while she was gone, that I don’t need her or her posse to run this town.”

“You’re so hot when you’re revengeful,” Harry growls, surging forward and practically smashing their lips together in a heated mess.

“Oh get a room you two,” Uma says a few minutes later, practically throwing a tray down on the bar for Gil.

Harry pulls away from her, only to press another short, bruising kiss to her lips.

“I’ve got a plan,” Uma says, leaning against the counter, “you ready for this?”

Her question is pointed at Y/N, the girl smirks.

“I’m ready for anything.”

Much to Y/N’s surprise, Mal actually shows up to the shop. Uma practically growls, walking up to the purple haired girl as Harry slides an arm around Y/N’s shoulders.

“How ya doin’?” He whispers, lips ghosting over her ear as he kisses the skin gently.

“She may have changed her look, but she hasn’t changed her attitude,” the girl says, “she hated being bad, deep down she always wanted to be like the kids in Auradon, no amount of hair dye and leather can change that.”

As Mal and Uma talk, the purple haired girl’s eye shift around the shop, landing on the couple near the back.

Y/N presses kisses to Harry’s jaw line, taking the tri-horned hat off of his head and placing it on hers, a smirk playing on her lips as she sees Mal turn her gaze back to Uma.

“And what exactly did that accomplish?” Harry questions playfully.

“Maybe nothing, probably nothing,” Y/N shrugs, smiling up at him, “but it was fun.”

“You’re evil,” Harry mumbles.

“You love it.”

“Hmm,” he hums, grin on his face, “that I do.”

“Walk me home?” She asks, intertwining their fingers.

“After you,” Harry replies, opening the back door for them to leave.

The couple makes their way down the alley, Harry’s arm around her shoulders and their fingers intertwined.

“No no I’m serious,” Y/N says with a light laugh, “she froze the entire kingdom and then turned her own sister to ice.”

“Sounds like she belongs over here,” Harry replies, “not in Auradon.”

“Must be because she’s of royal blood,” the girl shrugs, “but who knows.”

The conversation comes to a halt when Y/N’s eyes land on her used-to-be friends standing in the alley way.

“Y/N?” Evie questions with surprise. “You’re still here?”

“Where else would I be?” Y/N shoots back harshly, Harry squeezing her hand gently.

“What’s going on here?” Jay asks, hopping down from his perch above the alley.

“Just trying to get home,” Y/N replies, “what are you all doing here?”

“Getting Ben,” Carlos answers, glaring at Harry, “no thanks to this clown.”

Y/N places a hand on Harry’s chest, holding him back.

“Just leave it,” she whispers, shaking her head, “they’re not worth it.”

“You’ve changed,” Jay says, crossing his arms, “last thing I remember you wouldn’t go near Uma or her crew.”

“Yeah well,” she shrugs, looking up at Harry, “I had to survive somehow, the only friends I had deserted me. And things just…happened.”

Harry kisses her forehead, Carlos’s jaw practically hitting the floor.

“Well that’s…” he searches for words, eye darting around the alley, “new.”

“Time to go?” Harry asks in a whisper, the girl nodding in agreement.

“Good luck getting your friend back,” she says, “you’re gonna need it.”

The two of them swagger off, Harry spinning the hook around in his hand.

“You’ve gained more confidence since they left,” he says, “it’s hot. I’m proud of you.”

“All thanks to you,” she replies, “when I was friends with them I felt…weak. Like I was a charity case or something, but when I’m with you and Uma and Gil I feel…powerful. I feel like I matter.”

“You do matter,” Harry replies, “and we’re gonna rule Auradon together. And no one is going to ever make you feel like you don’t matter again.”

“Promise?” She questions, smile on her face as she cups his cheeks.

“Promise,” he smiles, kissing her hard, “we’re gonna rule the world princess.”

“We ride with the tide.”

Playtime with Daddy 3 😙

“Whatcha doing little girl?” Daddy asks “Hehe nothing Daddy” I say as I twirl around trying to get his attention. I’m wearing my favourite pink princess costume. I love playing dress up.
“Daddy I wanna play a game”
Daddy’s working at his desk. He turns around in his chair and faces me.
“look at my little princess”
I do a little twirl for Daddy.
“I can think of a game we can play.”
Daddy has that look in his eyes.
“What is it Daddy?”
“It’s like Simon says princess, but we also gonna do playtime. Daddy’s been under a lot of stress because of work, and he needs his princess to make him feel better”
I pout a bit. I wanna play a different game but Daddy makes the rules.
“Okay but only if Daddy is the king”
“Daddy is always the king sweetie. Now come sit on Daddy’s lap.”
“Okay Daddy”
I gleefully sit on Daddy’s lap. It’s my favourite place to sit. He rubs my backs and trails kisses from my shoulder all the way up to my neck leaving little bites in between. I squirm a bit, Daddy knows kissing my neck makes me go crazy. He grabs my hair hard “Be good princess stay still.”
“Okay Daddy”
Daddy goes for my neck again but I squirm some more.
“Princess what did I say?”
I’m feeling bratty today
“Nothing”
Daddy gives me a look “nothing?”
I jump off Daddy’s lap. Hide and seek is much more fun game. I run to my room and hide in my bed. I hear Daddy go into his room first and then mine.
“Princess?”
I pop out from under the covers.
“Come here little girl” Daddy’s voice is slightly stern.
I hide back under the covers.
“No!”
Daddy waits.
“Don’t make me count to three Angel your not gonna like it”
I hold my position.
“1.”
I stay under the covers
“2….”
I hold for a second but I know Im gonna be in big trouble. I come out from under the covers and go to Daddy. Thankfully he doesn’t look super mad yet.
“You disobeyed me Princess. Sometimes you have to play the games Daddy wants to play. Do you understand?”
I nod my head
“Do you have anything you want to say?”
I hesitate. I’m feeling really bratty today, and Daddy doesn’t seem to care.
“Fuck.”
“What’d you say?”
“Fuck!”
Daddy stares at me for a second.
“Knees now.” Daddy says sternly.
“I don’t wanna…”
“Dont make me count again.”
I hesitate. Daddy comes closer.
“If you’re gonna behave like a bad girl you’re going to get treated like a bad girl. Now get on your knees.”
I start to go down to my knees. Daddy takes his belt off.
“Don’t move.” Daddy puts his belt around my neck like a leash, he usually only does that when I’m really bad. “Come on” Daddy tugs on his belt.
“Daddy where are we going?”
“Your timeout corner”
I don’t like my timeout corner.

Daddy walks me to his bedroom first. He grabs my butt plug and kneels down to me.
“Why am I doing this?” Daddy asks.
“Because I was bad and didn’t listen and said a bad word.”
Daddy nods his head and spits on the butt plug.
“No lube for bad girls” holding the belt so I don’t move, Daddy reaches over and slowly takes off my panties. Then all at once drives the butt plug in me. I wince in pain but I know that I was a bad girl and deserve it.
“Open your mouth” Daddy commands.
I do as I’m told.
Daddy turns to his drawer and pulls out my ball gag. I keep my mouth open for Daddy to put it in. It’s so big I can barely fit it all.
“Let’s go”
Daddy walks me downstairs to my timeout corner. It’s a little chair in the corner by his desk.
“On your knees upright” Daddy commands. I do what he says. Daddy takes the leash off and begins unzipping my princess costume.
“You’ve been bad, bad girls don’t get to be princesses do they?”
I shake my head as Daddy strips me.
“Now crawl to your corner and sit there” I do as Daddy commands.
Daddy makes me sit there for what seems like an eternity. The butt plug hurts as I squirm from having to sit still for so long. Daddy looks at over to me. I try not to move to much while he’s watching.
“Come here princess” Daddy calls over. I crawl to Daddy and show I’m a good girl. I assume position, on my knees, upright, head looking down.
“You’ve been a bad girl today and Daddy has to discipline bad behaviour. Do you understand?”
I nod my head, my ball gag still in my mouth. Daddy stands up and starts moving things off his desk.
“Lay on the desk. Legs apart, facing me.”
I do what Daddy says. The desk is cold on my already naked body. Daddy begins stripping down. He takes his shirt off, his pants and his boxers. He sits back down in his chair and put his face in between my legs.
“This time princess, when I say don’t move, I expect you not to move.”
Daddy trails his tongue along the edges of my pussy. He gives me little kisses and tickles. I try my best to stay still but it’s really hard.
Daddy tugs on my butt plug.
“Stay. Still. I won’t say it again” I tense up. Daddy begins to jerk himself, while simultaneously eating my pussy. I stay still while his tongue trails up and down me. He swirls his tongue on my clit and pulsing in my hole. Daddy reaches up and starts to fondle my tits. Squeezing my nipples, and running them through his fingers. I start to go crazy and squirm by accident. This makes Daddy mad. He moves his hands to my throat and starts to tug on my butt plug more.
“What a bad little girl” Daddy says
“Come here.” Daddy effortlessly picks me up and turns me over so that I’m bent over the desk.
“If you won’t stay still on your own I’m going to have to make you”
Daddy grabs my hands and puts them behind my back holding me down. My mouth’s beginning to slobber with the ball gag inside it and my butt hurts from the jerking motions.
“Are you going to be good little girl?”
I nodd my head
Daddy puts his big cock in my little pussy. The thrusts intensify with the addition of the butt plug. Everything feels tighter then usually. Daddy begins ramming me. I start to moan through my ball gag. Daddy’s fucking me harder then usual today. He pulls on my hair tightly as he thrusts deeper and deeper. Daddy’s fucking me so hard I begin to worry I’ll cum without permission. Daddy reaches over and takes my ball gag out of my mouth. I sigh in relief. He continues to rail me hard.
“You like when daddy fucks your holes princess”
I moan “yessss daddy”
“Are you daddy’s little sex toy?”
Daddy’s cock feels so good. I moan louder.
“Yes please daddy”
“Are you going to listen from now on??”
“Yes daddy!”
Come here. Daddy pulls me up by my hair and moves me down back to my knees. He begins jerking his cock off while he holds my face in one hand.
“Open that bad mouth of yours”
I do as I’m told. Daddy spits in it and I swallow.
“Thank you daddy”
Daddy holds my hair tightly, and I leave my mouth open for daddy’s load. I love daddy’s cum and I’m lucky he still wants to share it with me.
“That a good girl”
My heart melts. I’m definitely happier being a good girl rather then a bad one.
Daddy finishes on me. He sprays my chest, tummy, face and hair. I rub it on my body just like Daddy likes so I’m covered.
“Good girl” Daddy says. I smile.
“Do you want daddy to clean you?”
“No Daddy! I wanna wear it all day!”
Daddy laughs and gives me a little kiss on my forehead.
“Daddy only disciplines you because he loves you. You know that right?”
I hug Daddy with my naked body and give Daddy kisses.
“Yes Daddy!”
I’m so lucky to have a good Daddy.❤️

listen
  • Jake and Amy’s first child is named Nakatomi, because Jake’s been promoting it as a possible name to Amy for ages (“Works for a boy or a girl!”)– he comes up with PowerPoint presentations filled with creatively colored pie-charts, bar graphs, statistical analysis
  • Even a binder is produced, filled with all sorts of documents and printouts denoting reasons they should name their child Nakatomi
  • “Aside from being a badass iconic building, Nakatomi was an influential clan in ancient Japan! Can you believe that, Ames? That’s like- the old Japanese mafia! Our baby can be a symbol of HISTORY, and you love history!”
  • Amy agrees to the name Nakatomi, not because of all the detailed PowerPoint presentations and organized binders (she won’t lie, Jake’s efforts lead to a lot of sex, which doesn’t matter since she’s already pregnant) but because seeing how happy the name Nakatomi makes Jake… hell he could’ve suggested Garbage Can as their first child’s name and she might (emphasis on might) have agreed
  • When Nakatomi’s born, Jake surprises Amy with the name he’s written on the birth certificate- Nakatomi Helvetica Peralta (Jake had suggested hyphenating, but there’s enough Santiagos to go around already, so)
  • Amy’s laughing on the hospital bed in an otherwise silent ward full of resting parents– she can’t believe her first born daughter’s name is Nakatomi Helvetica Peralta, but she wouldn’t trade any of it for the world. She actually loves that her favorite font is her baby’s middle name, and she loves her crazy husband who made the call
  • “If you don’t like it we can always change it,” Jake sheepishly remarks as his fingers run through his hair, “I know I’ve been harping on this Nakatomi thing for months, and that was selfish of-”
  • “No,” she tells him, firmly. “I love it. I love her–” she reaches for his face and kisses him sweetly–“and I love you.”
  • Jake gives her a look of awe, and chuckles. “It is a crazy name though–”
  • “It is. But you’re crazy, and I married you because I love that about you. And I’m crazy too, because I actually love this name- for one, it’s definitely not boring.”
  • If one had walked up to Amy in the street ten years ago and told her that her first child would be named Nakatomi Helvetica Peralta, she would have run away screaming. Although, if that same someone had told her back then that Jake Peralta would also be the father of her children, she would’ve run away screaming too.
  • Now, looking at his face of awe, she’s never felt happier.
  • “I love you so much–” he tells her, and she feels it so strongly–“but our baby’s totally gonna get beat up at school when she’s older.”
  • Amy laughs, really truly laughs. “No she’s not, because she has us as parents.”
  • “And we aren’t exactly fantastic examples of ‘not getting bullied as kids’, babe.”
  • They take to calling Nakatomi 'Tomi’ for short, and even though everyone sighs heavily when they find out what Jake and Amy have named their first child, Tomi grows on everyone because she’s literally the most precious thing
  • As a toddler learning to speak, she keeps messing up the pronunciation of The Enigma’s name, as she can’t pronounce 'Eh’ and 'Ma’, yet, she keeps referring to The Enigma as 'Dee Nee’. In the following years, 'Deenie’ is the only nickname The Enigma accepts
  • The Enigma’s largely the main reason why Nakatomi doesn’t get made fun of at school for having a different name. Namely, when Nakatomi’s old enough, The Enigma gives her a knife as a birthday present, and teaches her how to use it
  • This knife is obviously one of the many knives Rosa Diaz owns that she lets her adoptive daughter The Enigma have access to
  • Amy gets really scared when she finds a knife in Nakatomi’s bag, but upon seeing how good she is at using it, they let her keep it (with stern warnings not to bring it to school any more and to make sure it’s in a safe place so she doesn’t harm herself)
  • Jake asks Nakatomi to sneak him one of Rosa’s top notch knives (she refuses to tell Jake where she gets them, he suspects that she makes them herself)
  • When baby number 2 comes around, Jake and Amy take a more traditional course in the naming department
  • That’s how their baby boy gets named Raymond Terrance Peralta, because “Harry Potter really messed up the whole 'naming your kid after two role models’ thing”
  • Holt and Terry are beyond touched when Jake and Amy tell them their first son’s name. Terry bursts into tears immediately, while a single tear falls from Holt’s eye
  • It’s one of the best moments ever, although the rest of the squad is jealous they didn’t get kids named after them
  • At work, Jake’s favorite thing to do in the mornings is bring his infant son, point at Captain Holt and say 'Big Ray Ray’ before pointing to baby Raymond and saying 'Little Ray Ray’
  • On multiple occasions, Holt has to retire to his office because he can’t handle the Emotions he feels
  • Jake and Amy love calling their son their 'Ray’ of sunshine, Jake especially
  • Nakatomi loves that she’s named after a dope ass building in Die Hard, and it becomes her favorite movie too
  • She also starts a band called Tomi! Tomi! Tomi! Tomi? as a teenager
  • It flops
