gallifrey one is over, and i understand it was an awesome time! mtv geek ran a few stories from the whovian convention, as they celebrated 50 years of timelord shenanigans.

one of the stories on mtv geek has one of my dearest and closest friend, kevin coppa, dressed in full “TENnant” regalia. the above image is from the mtv geek story…

kevin’s uncanny cosplay likeness as 10 always amuses me <3

My story- #newtowho

So. The first thing you should know is that I’m working on getting my Bachelor’s in Procrastination.

Thus, a couple of years ago, when one of my online buds went in fangasms over Tennant, it’s no surprise that I didn’t start watching it- even though I admitted to her that what she was posting was downright adorable/ sweet/ hilarious. That was the first time I’d ever met anyone who watched Doctor Who- heard about it vaguely before as some old Brit show, but never paid much mind till her. And I swore to myself that I’d watch it. Especially since Kevin Coppa, a guy I watch on dA, can double as Tennant when he cosplays. Seriously.

Doctor, Doctor, REAL Doctor by *alternatecoppa

… Where was I? Oh yes. Swearing to watch it.Eventually.

So. Years pass, she mourns Tennant being gone, and then.. the Matt spazz starts.

Still don’t watch it.

Spazzing over Christmas Special.

Watched it, loved it… and still didn’t go back to watch the rest. That is, until last weekend, when another Whovian put me up to a trade: I watch Who, and she’d watch a few episodes of my current anime crack, One Piece. Wanting her to enjoy OP’s EPICNESS, I started watching Doctor Who from Nine’s season.

The thing is, now that I’ve started, I don’t think I can stop.
