Honestly I could really kiss We Are Temporary right now because of how they’ve remixed Ke$ha’s track Die Young but also why they’ve remixed the song like this. If you didn’t know there was an ongoing court case regarding producer Dr Luke sexually abusing Ke$ha which, unfortunately, she lost which has no means she has to produce music with the man who sexually abused her for another 6 albums, absolutely ridiculous to say the least. This remix has taken away everything from Dr Luke’s production leaving only Ke$ha’s voice and a new raw and dark electronic based track that is 100% Dr Luke free, like Ke$ha should be - Jakk

I never thought that someone would cover Barbie Girl by Aqua and make it somewhat credible, I mean come on its the ultimate cheesy kids party track, but Kill J has managed to cover it with absolute style. She turns the track from cheesy to a moody electronic masterpiece with her quirky vocal adding to this dark dystopian vibe. I don’t know how Kill J came up with this idea but I give her full credit as I don’t think anyone else could’ve done it better - Jakk

hey so this is a post with the full playlists (minimum length at 8 songs, largest at 66 (oops)) that i have up right now on spotify and a brief description of each! it’s noted if they should be listened in order, otherwise shuffle is fine

what i like about you - bokuroo; sappy and happy love songs from the 60s-90sish, super upbeat and good for dancing and good vibes regardless

crank it - bokuroo; songs that they’d dance to, starting from club hype songs to grinding songs to sappy, laughing in the kitchen dancing

summer drum - bokuroo; alternative songs about loving and growing up

ride or die - kagehina; listen in order; punchy drums and taking on the world together

the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart - bokuaka; listen in order; alt -> synth pop flow that’s about being made to fill in each other’s gaps

emotionally charged banter - kurotsuki; primarily acoustic songs that kuroo would play on his guitar but general soft listening

playing + getting played - ennofuta; older-influenced garage alternative that’s definitely a soundtrack to a burn-quick teen movie

nohebi - what the name says, a nohebi playlist full of electronic music that’s gritty and perfect for screwing the world over to

jamz - bokuroo; literally a shithole of random meme music i think they’d start losing it over if they heard in public

Jarryd James has been making waves in the Australian music scene as of late and for good reasons as well and now he’s teamed up with fellow Australian songstress Julia Stone for his track called Regardless. Its quite interesting as this is the type of style I thought Angus and Julia Stone would take if they ever went down a more melodic electronic route and I kind of love it just for that. Its got these soothing deep beats mixed with these absolutely lush harmonies, their voices just work so well together its unreal - Jakk

Hello Synth! What other height mod could you recommend since the mod you're using no longer works for recent patches//updates. (If it does for you it is probably because you already enabled it for your sims before the patch//update.)

hey! i got a few asks about this, nothing has broken my heart more than the height mod breaking BUT i just now checked the forums again and someone made a fix

just tested, i’m able to edit heights again and previous heights stayed intact! all you need to do if you already had the mod installed is do what comment #392 on this page says, download and replace the .ts4script

as an alternative there’s this height mod that ties heights to the foot slider in cas (i recommend the file heightslider1.zip)

One thing I’ve always loved about country music is how it can tell a story unlike any other form of music with just the lyrics, so I love it when artists like EZA and Aaron Krause come along and cover those country songs and add their own flair to the track. Their cover of Burning House by Cam is quite magical with those glittering synths creating such a mellow and tender atmosphere that’s then contrasted by the dark house beats coming in later on. Its quite a contrast to the really stripped back original but one thing that both of these versions have is a high amount of emotion that makes you feel all teary eyed - Jakk
