Prim’s Baby Clothes and the Apple Tree

So in honor of trying to coerce @everlarkedalways into doing a new THG:ReRead, I’ve been pondering SC’s incredibleness.   And, you’ll have to forgive if this thought isn’t original but seeped into me by osmosis somehow from others’ comments in the last reread; it’s been a long time and it’s hard to know what I’ve read and what’s in my own head:

1.  She’s trying to sell Prim’s baby clothes that day, right?  Consider the symbolism of the boy (who I am sure intentionally burned that bread for her) that was about to give her life (food) would also be the man who would later give her a different sort of “life” in the form of children!

2. Also consider she’s under an apple tree when Peeta sees her and saves her life.  Trees are also symbols of life.  But,they also take TIME to grow, just as these two’s story did.

Did I ever mention that I love flower shop AUs?

Welp here’s some soukoku since it feels like it’s been a while since I’ve drawn these dorks. I really felt like painting them them with lots and lots of flowers.

If you are interested some lovely flower shop au fics, be sure to check out: I won’t lie (I knew you belonged here) by mountainlaurels and Fair Enough by hybridempress

My tribute for @arcanebarrage. No words can explain the way I love this fic. Thank you so much for all those feelings.

Y’all click here and read it! You won’t regret!

Learning ASL, and Gaster’s helping. He’s still a bit too fast and delicately signed for me to keep up though, hehe

Signing a simple ‘Hello, my name is Gaster.’

Or at least I hope so ahahaha
