Feigning The Connection

Prompt: You seem so invincible. But just touch you and you’ll wince. You have secrets and trust no one. You’re the perfect example of betrayal. Because anyone you’ve ever trusted broke you. Thrust into a new world, will you be able to stay alone, or will Bellamy work his way in.

PART ONE - PART TWO

A/N: Finally! I have this up! Again I was amazed by the amount of love I received from the previous to parts. I can’t thank you all enough. For some reason, I had a real hard time writing this part and i’m not even sure why, because episode four is like one of my favourite episodes. It’s where (I believe) the show starts really picking up.

ALSO, remember if you’d like me to continue this series, just leave a little comment or an ask letting me know. I will NOT continue the series if no one wants me to.

Based off of: The 100 01X03 and 01x04

Pairing: Bellamy x Reader

Warnings: hanging. torturing of a sort.

“Y/N?” Kane asked, stepping down the steps towards the wall of the children’s trackers. Turning, Abby let her gaze fall on Kane and looking back, she found you and your name, shaking her head.

“She went silent a day ago.” Abby explained, her eyes drifting once again towards Clarke. Luckily, for her, Clarke was still lit up and her vitals were fine other than the small problems, but nothing major. Looking back at Kane, and the small gesture of disappointment and fear, which was unusual for Kane, she winced.

It was odd to see such a vulnerable look upon his face, but knowing better Abby didn’t ask only tried to reassure, which is what she did best. “Doesn’t mean anything serious. We lost a lot of kids, I figure they’re just taking them off.”

“There’s no way to prove your theory. You have ten days, it’s been half and so far we’ve seen nothing.” Kane’s eyes turned to Abby, dark in anger and authority. Abby took it all in a stride. With a confident look, she shook her head; “I will prove to you that the earth is sustainable and that Y/N is alive.”

“Or you’re killing ten more people that could’ve been saved.” Kane argued, but Abby didn’t miss the way his eyes fell on your name and with a solemn look shook his head. He knew, this wasn’t the time to worry when there was so much more at stake. He made the choice. He helped send you down as if you were nothing, he had no right to feel guilty.

“Or I am saving thousands of lives.”

“Hold him down.” Clarke ordered, rushing forward you helped Wells and Finn hold Jasper down as Clarke prepared herself to cut away the infected skin on Jasper. Taking a deep breath you watch Clarke mentally steel herself for something you figured she’d probably never had to do before.

“I’m not gonna like this, am I?” Monty’s worried voice echoed and with a soft apologetic look his way, you shook your head. Clarke placed the hot knife against Jasper’s skin and almost immediately he begin struggling. Grunting you pressed down harder against his legs, trying to gain control of him.

“Hold him down!” Clarke ordered loudly, “we are.” You shot back. “I need to cut away the infected flesh.” She responded, your eyes flickered over to Jasper who eyes looked as if they were at the back of his head and his head fell to the side. Panicking, you watched helpless as Clarke pressed her two fingers against his neck, searching for a pulse.

“Stop it. You’re killing him!” Octavia screamed, running next to Clarke. You shook your head, “she’s trying to save him.” You defended.

“She can’t.” Bellamy suddenly spoke, you hadn’t even known he’d followed Octavia in. Knowing that whatever he wanted, was probably not good, you turned your head and finally letting go of Jasper as you stood up defensively. Despite your moment the other night, you still didn’t completely trust him when around Jasper.

“We didn’t drag him miles across the forest, just to let him die.” You defended, standing up straight next to Bellamy. Bellamy glanced at you briefly before turning to Wells who had straightened up to block Bellamy from Jasper. You were appreciative of him, knowing despite your falsely placed confidence, you wouldn’t be able to stop Bellamy.

“Kid’s a goner.” Bellamy deadpanned; “if you can’t see that, you’re deluded. He’s making people crazy.” He snapped.

Without turning to him, Clarke looked up at nothing and growled. “Sorry if Jasper’s an inconvenience for you, but this isn’t the Ark. Down here, every life matters.”

“Take a look at him. He’s a lost cause.” Silence was his only response and looking around you couldn’t believe your eyes, stepping forward you walked up to Bellamy. You ignored the fact that he towered over you and pressed a finger against his chest. You wouldn’t believe he was a goner, never. “Jasper isn’t a lost cause. Not to me. Not to anyone here but you.” You sent him a nasty look. He glared down at you, sighing desperately when he knew you wouldn’t back down.

Turning you looked at Clarke expectantly. “I’ve spent my whole life watching my mother heal people. If I say theres hope, there’s hope.” She finally answered, reassuringly nodding at you. You smiled, turning to Bellamy with a confident look.

“This isn’t about hope, it’s about guts. You don’t have the guts to make hard decisions, I do. He’s been like this for three days. If he’s not better by tomorrow, i’ll kill him tomorrow.” Bellamy warned, shooting one last glance at you, he headed towards the ladder.

“Octavia, let’s go.” You let your eyes fall on Octavia who kept her eyes on the ground, “i’m staying here.” She responded, idly helping prepare the bandages. Shocked and insulted, Bellamy’s eyes filtered around you all before shaking his head and heading down the ladder.

“Power-hungry, self-serving, jackass. Doesn’t care about anyone but himself.” Monty spat, shaking his head. When he looked up, he caught the eye of Octavia and faltered. “No offence.” She shook her head, continuing playing around with the bandages in her hand.

“Yeah. Bellamy is all that. But he also happened to be right.” Scoffing at Finn’s words, you headed towards the ladder catching the attention of the rest.

“Y/N, where are you going?”

“i’ll talk to him.” Was all you said as you climbed down the ladder, catching sight of Bellamy exiting the drop-ship, you jogged over to him. “Bellamy!” You called, reaching out and grabbing him by the shoulder. He stopped, freezing, before slowly turning to you.

“Yes, sweetheart?” He smiled cockily down at you.

“What exactly is your issue?” You asked, all riled up. He raised a eyebrow, as if to ask you to explain further. “That’s a boys life up there, and because he’s too noisy you want to kill him?”

“I don’t want to kill him because he’s annoying. I want to kill him because his last chance was at that tree. He’s a goner.” He responded, shaking his head. You jerked your head back, appalled by his answer.

“You don’t want to even give him a chance?” You asked incredulously. “Jesus Bellamy, do you have no heart?” He didn’t respond, frozen by your question as you stared at him expectantly.

“I have a heart. Just not for someone who’s clearly already dead.” There was a look in his eyes, a look you couldn’t read. It was as if he was trying to tell you something, but you just couldn’t understand. You both stared at each other, clear eye contact, when you were both interrupted when Atom called his name, signalling Bellamy towards him. Bellamy looked at you again, before sighing and heading towards Atom.

You watched them converse, upset by the conversation. You didn’t know much about Bellamy, but there was just something about him, something that he wasn’t telling you all. You don’t know what made him act like a complete jerk constantly but you didn’t care anymore. He confused you and the way you felt around him. He was rude and you just couldn’t seem to hate him for it. You wished you could only learn more about him, he was a mystery.

You watched as he headed towards the wall that had slowly been being built, his eyes falling on you one final time before turning and leaving camp. You sighed, turning back towards the drop-shit.

“Murphy’s going to kill Jasper!” Monty yelled, shooting up from your position you shared a look with Octavia before the both of you shot up. Monty managed to shut the door before Murphy could get up, and panting he yelled; “the locks on the other side of the door.”

“Don’t let him in!” Octavia yelled.

“I’m gonna kill him, okay? Let me in!” Murphy yelled from the other side of the door. “Let me in! Monty, uh, let me in!” You ran over to Monty as he sat on top of the trap door, helplessly you held the bar with your own hands, trying to help keep the door closed.

“No rush! We’re fine!” You yelled, waiting for Octavia to break the pole from the drop-ship.

“I got it!” Octavia yelled, ripping the bar from the wall of the drop-ship. She ran over to the two of you, and moving your hands you helped shove it under the handle of the door, effectively locking Murphy out. You pushed on it again, keeping it trapped.

“Open this hatch right now!” Murphy screamed. Panting, you looked up at Monty and Octavia in panic. Frantically you looked at the both of them, worry and panic evident in your gaze. “What are we going to do?” You whispered in a rush, even though the door was clearly blocked, you held fast on the handles, hands shaking.

“I don’t know.” Octavia panted, shaking her head. Her gaze fell on Jasper and she, clearly distressed, sighed.

“We keep him out.” Monty answered.

“i know that-”

“Is that Y/N?” You spoke a little too loud, and cursing, apparently Murphy had heard you. You already didn’t get along with the guy and him knowing you were here wasn’t good. You shook your head, distress but still snarking back; “Yeah, Murphy, it’s me. And you’re just plain stupid if you think I am gonna let you in here.” You spoke, speaking just loud enough that he could hear you. Monty sent a grateful look your way, and you smiled.

“We’ve got to get to Jasper.” You heard Clarke whisper to Finn, walking slightly behind Octavia you looked around for Bellamy and the others who slowly begin walking in. They were holding something that looked oddly like a body. You felt yourself freeze as Clarke and Finn passed you and Octavia kept walking.

All your eyes could focus on was the body that Bellamy had laid down in horror. Keeping your eye on Bellamy, you tried to gain his attention as he told someone to get Clarke whatever she needed. You could only watch as Wells walked up to him and shared a conversation you couldn’t hear, walking closer you absentmindedly brushed a strand of hair behind your ear in anticipation.

Octavia walked further and you reached out to grab her, missing her by a slim. “Octavia, just stay there. Please, stay there.” Bellamy pleaded. Grabbing her wrists, he tried to keep her back but frustratedly she pushed him away; “stop.” She ordered, pushing past him.

Octavia kneeled down next to the body, peeling the jacket that had been covering it before. You gasped, holding your hands to your mouth as you stared in shock at the body. “Atom…” Octavia whispered.

“There’s nothing I could do-”

“Don’t.” Octavia ordered, holding up her hand. Bellamy faltered, clearly distressed. You stood back, feeling as if there was something you didn’t quite understand.

Shaking her head and biting her lip to keep from crying, Octavia placed the jacket back over Atom’s face, before standing up. Bellamy was quick to step in front of her; “O- O, please.” He begged, his voice cracking ever so slightly.

“Don’t.” Was all she said, shoving past him.

Murphy walked up to him and you stared back at Octavia who followed Clarke and Finn into the drop-ship, you debated whether or not you should follow them or stay out here. “Lose anyone here?” Bellamy asked, sniffing slightly.

“No.” Was all he said, and you glared at the back of his head.

“Jasper?”

“Still breathing. Barely. I tried to take him out but freak over there and you’re psycho little-” Murphy never had the chance to finish his sentence as Bellamy grabbed him, shoving him away harshly. “Bellamy!” Murphy tried, only to be pushed and shoved again.

“Who? Who?” He yelled, his voice coming out threateningly as he stared Murphy down. Your eyes widened, shocked that Bellamy was actually defending someone other than himself, but then again this was his sister. Every motive of his made sense, you guessed you just never figured him that protective.

Murphy took a deep breath, calming himself; “your little sister.” Murphy shoved Bellamy.

“Yeah that’s right. My little sister.” Bellamy turned towards you and you felt yourself freeze when his haunting gaze fell on you. He said nothing but turned back to Murphy and stepped threateningly towards him, his piercing gaze falling on Murphy as said boy gulped. “Have anything else you want to say?”

“Nothing.” Bellamy took deep breaths, his huffs quiet and frantic. He stepped back away from Murphy, turning back to Atom and his followers; “get him away from here.” You walked up to the body of Atom yourself, wanting to be at least a little bit helpful. You froze when you saw Murphy make his way towards Atom, and looking around you realized it was only the two of you.

You leaned down, placing your hand against Atom’s jacket clothed face. You didn’t know him well, but knew he was kind and didn’t deserve something like this. You also didn’t deal with death well. “Sad over pretty boy?” Murphy taunted. Opening your eyes slowly, you took a deep breath to remain calm and looked up to glare at him.

“Don’t you care someone died, Murphy?”

“Why should I? The guy was dumb.” He shrugged, standing up you went to walk up to him. What he was saying was just wrong and Atom definitely didn’t deserve it, your eyes glittered to Octavia who you knew was in the drop-ship and as someone who may have only just started to get close with, you felt it your duty to stand up for her and Atom. You’d heard of their relationship. And if she wasn’t here to do it herself, you were more than willing to take her place.

“He was a human, Murphy. Just like you.” You let your eyes wander over him, and raising a brow you spat; “but… maybe a better one. Just like Jasper. I heard Clarke got what she needed, no need to kill him now huh?”

He glared at you and you smirked at him. “Y/N!” Jumping slightly, you turned to the direction of the voice finding Bellamy making his way over to you. “Get on, i’ll help Murphy.” He ordered, you didn’t fight him and letting one last glance at Murphy walked off.

“Hey!” Snapping your head up, you turned to Murphy, sighing annoyed when you saw him storming his way over to a boy. You rolled your eyes, turning back to your own post before you heard Murphy continue; “you think the grounders are just gonna sit around and wait for us to finish the wall? Maybe we should let the little girl do the lifting for you, huh?”

Irritated, you dropped your log and stormed over to Murphy. Standing in front of the boy you barely knew anything about, you glared up at Murphy. Everything about this boy annoyed the hell out of you, he was just rude. “Back off, Murphy.” You spat, crossing your arms over your chest.

He opened his mouth to say something but the boy behind you beat him to it, “I just need some water okay? Then i’ll be fine.”

“Murphy, get this guy some water.” Bellamy walked up, ordering Murphy you let your eyes fall on him before shaking your head. “Hey, you got this?” He asked referring to Charlotte, you let your eyes fall on her, the first time you’d ever really noticed. In your head, you wondered how anyone could ever send such a small child down here to die.

You went to glare at Bellamy, confused as to why he was making her do such heavy work, but before she could reach it he blocked her path and smiled up at her. You gaped openly, shocked at seeing such a bright and kind smile on his face. You’d never seen him act so… relaxed before. “Hey, I was just kidding.” He joked.

He lifted it up, and jumping up you ran ahead of him, helping him with the log. He turned to you, shocked but smiled gratefully and bashfully you smiled back. “Didn’t even know you could smile and mean it.” You teased, smiling confidently when you turned back to look at Bellamy.

“It’s only for reserved people.” He smirked. You gasped, helping him set down the log and hold a hand against your mouth, feigning a gasp. “I’m hurt.” You acted offended, laughing with him when he rolled his eyes. You felt at ease, which confused you as you’ve never had such a peaceful conversation with Bellamy before. And suddenly, looking up at him, you realized that you were enjoying yourself for the first time since landing on earth.

“Well, maybe one day you’ll be on that list sweetheart.” He teased, before turning. You watched his back, laughing to himself; “what does one girl need to do to get on Bellamy Blake’s list?” You called after him, laughing quietly to yourself. Your smile grew when he turned back ever so slightly, and smirked your way.

“Continue, and you just may see.”

“This knife was made of metal from the drop-ship.” Clarke spat, staring at the knife in her hands. You looked up from the table, the mood dark and you took a look at the new and better Jasper. Though this was no time to smile, you were happy he was doing better and sent a small, encouraging smile his way.

“What do you mean?” Jasper asked, frightened.

“Who else knows about this?” Bellamy asked.

“No one, we brought it straight here.” Shaking your head, you bounced your knee, a nervous tick and shook your head repeatedly. This was bad. “Clarke?” You asked, hesitantly, your voice coming just above a whisper.

“It means the grounders didn’t kill Wells, it was one of us.”

“So there’s a murdered in camp?” Jasper shaken voice echoed out. Your own eyes widened and looking over at the rest, you tried to stop the shaking in your hand. You could deal with the grounders, you’d never trusted them and you knew that as long as you were in these walls you were at least a bit safe. But someone being a murderer in camp, you felt your blood grow cold.

“There’s more than one murderer in this camp.” Bellamy quickly spoke. “This isn’t news, we need to keep it quiet.”

“So a murderer can run loose?” You asked, turning questioningly on Bellamy but his gaze was somewhere else as Clarke stormed forward towards the exit of the tent.

“Get out of my way Bellamy.” Clarke warned.

“Be smart about this. Look at what we’ve achieved– the walls, the patrols. Like it or not, thinking the grounders killed Wells is good for us.” Bellamy explained, you furrowed your brow; “oh, you mean good for you? What keep people afraid and they’ll work for you? Is that it?”

Bellamy turned to you; “yeah that’s it. But it’s good for all of us. Fear of the grounders is building that wall. And besides what are you gonna do- just walk out there and ask for the killer to just step forward.” Bellamy’s eyes fell back on Clarke, a questioning tone in his eyes. You watched with anticipation as Clarke shook her head. “You don’t even know who’s knife that is.”

“Oh really?” Clarke spat, raising the knife she pointed towards Clarke. “J. M. John Murphy. The people have a right to know.” Your heart quickened, and your hand began to shake more violently. You took a stepped forward, shocked as you caught a glance at the initials, ‘J. M.’

Clarke shoved past Bellamy, you quickly followed behind her, anxious to see what would happen. Running after Clarke, you tried to stop her but fell too short when she shoved Murphy; “You son of a bitch!”

“What is your problem?” He chuckled. You bounced your knee again, a nervous tick, and bit your lip in anxiousness as you tried to ignore the way your hand shook. You could feel your breath quicken erratically.

“Recognize this?” Clarke asked, her voice cracking as she held up Murphy’s knife for him to see.

“It’s my knife, where’d you find it?” Murphy asked, reaching forward to grabbed it but Clarke pulled her hand away before he could. “Where you dropped it after you killed Wells!” Clarke responded, shaking.

You stared with hesitation, wanting to step forward and do something but knowing nothing would go well if you tried. You could feel your heart against your chest but no part of you felt bad for him, as you stared at his cocky face. Murphy was the least bit kind to you or to anyone.

“Where I what?” Murphy spat, stepping forward he loomed over her. “The grounders killed Wes, not me.”

“I know what you did, and you’re gonna pay for it.”

“Really?” Murphy smirked, “Bellamy, you believe all this crap?” Shaking your head, you ignored your shaking hand and stepped forward; “and why shouldn’t he?” You asked, finally speaking up. All gazes fell on you and you stared confidently over at Murphy. Despite the fact that this was all too much for you, you didn’t feel bad for Murphy. If he killed Wells, then he deserves to pay just a little bit.

“You threatened to kill him, we all heard you.” Clarke yelled. “You hated Wells.”

“Plenty of people hated Wells.” Murphy defended. “His father was the chancellor, that locked us up!”

“Yeah and you’re the only one who got into a fight to kill him!” Clarke interrupted, her voice raising.

“Yeah, I didn’t kill him then either.”

“Tried to kill Jasper too.” You spat.

“What?” Jasper whispered, just loud enough you could hear. You sent an apologetic look his way.

“C’mon this is ridiculous. I don’t have to answer to you, I don’t have to answer to anyone!” Murphy yelled, shrugging his shoulders in anticipation.

“Come again?” Bellamy asked. Silence echoed his statement, you let your eyes wander around as Murphy thought of his next move. With a slight voice crack and taking a hesitant step forward, Murphy tried to defend himself; “Bellamy, look, I am tell you man. I didn’t do this.”

“They found his fingers next to your knife.” He shook his head.

“Is this the kind of society we want?” Clarke spoke again, “you say there should be no rules. Does that mean we can kill each other? Without- without punishment?”

“I already told you I didn’t kill anybody!”

“He does deserve some kind of punishment.” You interrupted, your gaze falling on Murphy threateningly, “but at what price?” You felt the mood thicken and you worried that everyone would take this out of proportion. You wanted Murphy to pay, but as you stared at the blood-lust eyes around you, you didn’t want him to die by death.

“I say we float him!” The guy from before yelled. Your eyes widened and you snapped your gaze over to him, with a baffled gaze you shook your head. “What?!” You yelled, “how the hell is that fair?”

“Yeah! We float him!” A bunch of voices echoed, your eyes widened and your breath quickened again as you stared fearfully around the crowd before you. You thought Murphy deserved a punishment, but you couldn’t believe everyone else.

“That’s not what i’m saying!” Clarke tried to explain, but no one listened carefully enough to care.

“Why not? He deserves to float.” The boy said again. You shook your head, not believing what you were hearing. “It’s justice.”

“Revenge isn’t justice.” Clarke interrupted.

“It’s justice. Float him!”

“No!” You yelled, your voice shrieking. “This isn’t justice, this- this is just wrong!” You yelled, trying to gain the attention of the people around you, but failed. Soon they began chanting ‘float him’ and you tried to grab ahold of the boy who started it all, but he shoved you. Tripping you nearly fell before Bellamy grabbed you, holding you straight, Your hand fell on his shoulder, and you nodded a thanks.

With wide, cold and guarded eyes you tried to focus on what was around you but it was all becoming too much. You barely registered when Murphy was tripped and everything moved faster from then on. They were quick to begin beating him up and everything started dragging across your vision. You didn’t hear Bellamy call your name or Clarke try to plead to everyone to stop what they were doing to Murphy. Faces became dragged blurs.

You blinked, trying to breathe. Your breath was coming out in gasps as you choked on nothing, you smacked your hands against your eyes trying to refocus. Bellamy’s face came before you and you found Murphy tied up with a gag and his arms bound. “Y/N?” Bellamy asked.

You could barely speak, but you nodded to gain his attention. “Y-yes.” You stuttered. “Are you okay?” He asked, his hands on your shoulders, you nodded numbly though you still couldn’t focus on anything.

Crowds of people shoved you on as you followed the crowd, Bellamy still holding you.

They tossed the tied up Murphy down the hill, his grunting as he slumped along. You groaned, blinking and trying to focus what was before you. A string was being tossed over a branch and your breathing nearly stopped. “You can’t do this!” Clarke yelled.

You watched with a blurry vision as Murphy was pulled up along the rope, and you made the realization they were gonna hang him.  You shook your head, breaths coming out in gasps and chokes as Bellamy finally let go you. You reached for him but it didn’t matter as he walked away. Luckily, Clarke finally saw you. Her wide eyes reached you and carefully, like an echo in the back of your head you heard her whisper to breathe.

You listened, sweat glistening down your forehead. “I’m okay. I’m okay. Just-! Just help him!” You shouted, pointing to Murphy and holding your neck as you focused on breathing. Clarke nodded, letting go of you.

Running over to Bellamy, Clarke shoved at his chest; “you can stop this!” She cried. “They’ll listen to you!”

“Bellamy you should do it!” The boy from before yelled. Hearing his voice and the name he called, you snapped up, wide eyes making eye contact with Bellamy’s as you slowly shook your head, “no…” You whispered.

“I saw you in the wood with Atom!” Clarke tried; “I know you’re not a killer.”

“Bellamy, please. Don’t do this!” You begged, he looked at you, shaking his head before looking back at Clarke. “You can’t do this!” She begged. With wide eyes, you felt your heart break as he kicked the stool from beneath Murphy and you heard a snap as he struggled to breathe.

“This is on you princess!” Bellamy shouted at her as Clarke began sobbing. Staring around you, you stared shocked at the crowd around you cheering and felt empty. They couldn’t be this sick to enjoy something of the like.

“You should’ve kept your mouth shut!”

“What the hell are you doing?” Finn yelled, your head snapped up as he stormed past you. “Cut him down! Charlotte, get out of here. – Cut him down!” The boy ran forward, threatening Finn with a knife. Charlotte ran forward, making everyone pause; “just stop it okay!” She bellowed; “Murphy didn’t kill Wells. I did!”

“Oh, my god!” You whispered, running forward you grabbed an axe from the ground and cut Murphy down, him falling with a thud.

You ran through the woods, only a few steps behind Charlotte in panic. You were about to reach her when she gasped in panic and someone grabbed her, fearing it to be Murphy you ran faster only to find Bellamy. He looked at you before covering Charlottes mouth, telling her to shush.

“Charlotte! You can’t hide forever!” Murphy’s distant voice echoed. “Don’t worry we won’t hurt you!”

Bellamy and you began running, Bellamy grasping Charlotte’s hands. You winced when Charlotte screamed, cursing her secretly in your mind. “Let me go!” Bellamy looked at you and nodding, the both of you dragged her to the side. “I’m trying to help you.” Bellamy whispered.

“I’m not your sister. Just stop helping me.” Charlotte grunted.

You shook your head, “none of that matters. They’re going to kill you!” You all panted, and before you could stop her Charlotte ran forward, yelling that she was there. You ran forward, grabbing Charlotte in panic as you tried to stop her. “Shh!” You shushed.

“Are you trying to get us all killed?” Bellamy snapped, grabbing her.

“Just go- just go, okay? I’m the one they want.” You watched slowly, behind, staring hesitantly around you for Murphy or anyone of his goons. “Okay, Charlotte, listen to me. I won’t leave you.” His eyes fell on you, and staring at him you panted, nodding your head. “We won’t leave you.” He repeated.

“Please,” she begged, looking at the both of you. She tried running again but Bellamy easily caught her, hefting her over his shoulder, he looked back over at you and you nodded, quickly moving to follow him. “Ah! Murphy! I’m over here, i’m over here!”

“Come on out, Charlotte. Come on out!”

“It’s a dead end!” You yelled over the rain, brushing your hair back in a panic. Bellamy looked back at you, shaking his head as his eyes desperately looked around for an escape. You could tell Murphy and the rest were only a few feet behind you.

“Charlotte!” Murphy yelled.

Bellamy set Charlotte down and you felt your hand shaking again. This was bad. Murphy was thirsty for blood and didn’t care that Charlotte was only a child, you looked over at Bellamy, praying he had a solution but he only shook his head desperate.

“Damn it.” He cursed, staring over the impending cliff.

“Bellamy!” Murphy yelled. You snapped your head over, sighing when Murphy ran up. Murphy’s angry gaze fell on you and you shivered; “you can not fight all of us. Give her up, the both of you.”

“Maybe not, but I guarantee I can take a few of you out.” Bellamy stepped forward, his feet pacing as he prepared himself. You watched as Clarke and Finn ran in, reaching the both of you. You shared a look with Clarke and she tilted her head clearly upset.

“Bellamy, stop!” She yelled, shaking her head.

You stepped forward, seemingly affronted at her accusations. “He’s helping her!” You defended, stepping up beside Bellamy, quick to defend him. You ignored his gaze that you felt on your back and glared at Clarke.

Stepping forward, you found a new confidence and walked up to Murphy. Shaking your head, you stared at Murphy helplessly, your eyes begging him. “This has gone too far. Just calm down, we’ll talk about this.” You pleaded. You felt your heart spike when he didn’t say anything and you almost thought he’d agree before he moved so fast you couldn’t even see him. And suddenly his knife was against your neck and his arm was wound around your stomach.

You sucked in a breath, shaking in his grip and you grabbed his arm. Your eyes found Bellamy’s and you pleaded with him, despairingly looking at him for help. You don’t know exactly why you went for him to help, but your eyes just found his and you felt safe when near him.

“I’m sick of listening to you talk.” Murphy threatened next to your ear. You panted, trying to break out of his grip. His knife ever so slightly graced your neck, making a thin slice.

“Let her go!” Finn stepped forward only for Murphy’s grasp to tighten and Murphy’s knife to leave your neck and point at Finn. “I will slit her throat.” He seethed.

“No, please. Don’t hurt her.” Charlotte begged.

“Don’t hurt her?” Murphy taunted. “Okay i’ll make you a deal. You come with me right now, I will let her go.”

“Don’t do it, Charlotte!” You begged, “don’t do it Charlotte!” Charlotte moved to stepped forward but Bellamy grabbed her, effectively stopping her but she continued to plead; “I have to!” Bellamy set Charlotte back and turning back to you and Murphy, his angry eyes turned to Murphy.

“Murphy, this is not happening.” Bellamy stated, shaking his head unbelievably. “Let her go, please.” He pleaded, you shook your head, feeling your eyes brim with tears as you stared at him.

“I can’t let any of you get hurt because of me.” Charlotte whispered, “not after what I did.” Your eyes fell to Charlotte and with a shriek you couldn’t even hear yourself, you watched hopeless as she stepped back, falling from the ledge. Murphy’s grip left you and you lurched forward, “no! Charlotte, no!”

Leaning just before the cliff, you watched gravely as Charlottes body fell. “No, no, no, no.” Bellamy repeated, he sobbed and you shook your head. Your head falling against your arms, you sighed; “no…” you felt Bellamy straightened up beside you and turning you watched as he stormed over to Murphy.

“Bellamy.” Murphy started.

Bellamy jumped froward, knocking Murphy over as he screamed angrily. You watched helpless as Bellamy repeatedly punched Murphy again and again and unlike you’d normally do, you did nothing and watched it happen. He killed a girl, he forced her to kill herself and shaking your head, you felt as if you’d lost something within you.

“Bellamy stop, you’ll kill him!”

“He deserves to die!” You shouted, shocking everyone. Finn pulled Bellamy back and he grunted, trying to reach Murphy again; “he deserves to die!” He repeated and you kneeled on the ground, eyes gone cold.

“No! We don’t decide who lives and who dies.” Clarke stated and everyone grew silent. “Not down here!”

“So help me god, if you say the people have a right to decide–”

“No, I was wrong before, okay? You were right. Sometimes it’s dangerous to tell people the truth. But if we’re gonna survive down here, we can’t just live by whatever the hell we want. We need rules.”

Bellamy sighed, frustratingly dragging a hand across his face. “And who makes these rules? Huh? You?”

“For now we make the rules, okay?”

“So what then,” you spoke, everyone’s tired and stressed eyes turning on you. “We just take him back and pretend like it never happened?” Your voice was cold, conserved. Clarke shook her head at you, “no! We banish him.”

Silence echoed as everyone shared looks. Sniffling, Bellamy made the first move and moved forward, roughly grabbing Murphy by the front of his shirt, Murphy grunted. “Get up.” He stepped towards you, and moving you watched as Bellamy held him over the ledge. “If i ever catch you near camp again, we’ll be back here.” Bellamy threatened, his voice raw. “Understand?”

Murphy nodded and with a final shove, Bellamy pushed him away. “As for the four of you,” Bellamy spoke, referring to the others that crowded around; “you can come back and follow me or go and die with him. Your choice.”

You watched with hidden eyes as Bellamy made his way over to you, holding a hand out. You looked up at the hand before looking at him, with a final sigh, you accepted the hand and he helped haul you up. Grabbing both your arms, he leaned down to see you; “you alright?”

“Fine.” You whispered, your voice empty. He stared shocked at you but you only shook your head, tears in your eyes. You walked past him, shoving him slightly as you made your way back to camp. You’d lost something tonight and as you stared around you, you felt empty.

Part 4?

i just want everyone to know that beebo himself walked through our row tonight, asked us how we were doing in the middle of singing doab, and shook my sister’s hand. and i got to brush his jacket.

verdict: floor seats are worth it for moments like these, even if you’re too short to see anything.

also, brendon urie and his band are the best thing to happen to me this year and they never, ever disappoint. the show was amazing; their energy was contagious. brendon hates singing old songs but he did a medley for us. he recognized all our rainbow hearts in girls/girls/boys and said our generation was the beginning of the revolution and he’ll right beside us. he is such a genuine human. he GLOWS.

in whatever form, even as members have come and gone, we don’t deserve everything the band gave and continues to give us.

i feel lucky to be in their orbit.

(also the audience tonight was fucking incredible; where are y'all at so i can follow you??)

I’m not really sure what to say

I’m sorry that some of you feel Emmerdale is slighting you somehow. That is a terrible feeling. I can relate to that. I don’t agree or at least don’t see it that way but it does suck if that’s how it feels. Cause you should always be heard.

Maybe it’s an experience thing? Maybe everyone imagines that every show is marginalizing us. I don’t think that’s the case but I also don’t think anything they could do aside from breaking all the pre-watershed rules would go much further to change that.

This show has done amazing things with all their LGBTQ characters over the years but especially Aaron and Robert. Aaron is great product of that. They’ve legitimized bisexuality with a main CORE character and continue to show what bi-phobia can look like and fight against it.

For me the difference with Emmerdale and other soaps who have gay characters is so striking. I was deep in a ship of a US soap gay couple. At the time it was groundbreaking (this wasn’t that long ago to be honest) and it was exciting for so many of us in that fandom. We had 2 kisses…

….and then nothing, some hugs, a little handholding, one mistletoe kiss THAT WAS PANNED away from so it was IMPLIED rather than seen.

For over 8 months. Nothing. Once they did kiss, it was a bit easier but then it took a total of 2 YEARS for this couple to have sex. TWO YEARS. And we didn’t see anything at all.

They moved in together at some point but we were told…not shown. There were a bunch of obstacles that made no sense thrown in the way. Then it ended with them not even together.

But I could have gotten over that if they had been treated as part of the actual show. They were isolated for the most part, had almost no real interaction with other characters (well one had a bit more than the other but not really all that much) and they didn’t feel like they were a part of the show. They had good emotional depth because the actors were fantastic but – yeah. That was ignorance and fear at work.

Currently there are several gay couple/characters on US and UK soaps but they have no story (don’t talk to the DAYS fans who are being screwed over right now). Hollyoaks has probably one of the most physical but the writing and stories for them are abysmal and they have no depth as a couple while their other couple has potential but it’s being squandered. Corrie is a little boring to be fair and aren’t front burner. Let’s not even talk about East Enders and Ben, ok?

I look at them and then I look at Emmerdale. I am astounded. Because they are not marginalizing Robert or Aaron. They don’t stick them in a corner and pull them out when they want to show us “the gay couple.” That’s the thing..they aren’t spotlighted to be that. They are shown to be a COUPLE in love. They have actual jobs they go to (sometimes), they interact with other stories and characters, they have family, they have friends (well, they have at least one friend). They have ENTIRE PRESS JUNKETS AND SPECIAL EPISODES revolved around them. The writers take care so much to write them. I’m sorry but they do. Maxine and Isobel and Jane in particular are amazing with characterization.

Could it be better? Always. I think everything has room for improvement. I want to hurry their timeline on how they are integrating Robert more and more as they have fleshed him out (but that’s a completely different post, ask me about that later. :))

I just – I don’t think that Aaron is being written in the way he is being written because they want to not show a gay couple being intimate. Aaron is being written the way he is because Aaron has ISSUES with intimacy. Always has. He has NEVER been an outwardly physical or emotional character. He rarely let’s anyone outside family and Robert touch him and EVEN then he is hesitant with them. That is who Aaron is. It’s partly his past experiences, his own insecurities and to be honest, his and Robert’s very recent past issues. Aaron has let Robert in more than I think anyone else and that is something important the writers have done.  Robert, oth, is the most tactile character. He shows how he feels way easier. I think for him being physical was his go to when he wanted something or someone. It’s the emotional side of Robert that has needed tending to. And it has gotten that. In recent weeks, we’ve seen more and more sides to Robert, more fleshing out, more thoughts and feelings.

What they have done right is tell this love story between this two damaged men very well and quite truthfully. They haven’t backed down from doing that though. They are leaps and bounds ahead of so many others. And they keep trying.

I’ve been on the other side of this fence. I’ve been in that writer room watching them try to figure out a way to tell their story effectively while having to listen to network interference. I know how writers are, how much they can care and how much they sometimes don’t. This bunch of writers on this tiny show care so damn much about these characters and their fans. It’s a blessing because many many do not.

Maybe it’s those experiences that don’t let me see where some of you are coming from. I’m sorry for that. I hope that somehow it gets better and that you can find enjoyment. I hope that you one day find a show who you believe is hearing you and speaks for you.

I hear you though and I am crossing my fingers and I love you very much.

anonymous asked:

Why do you like Ruby? As in what exactly made you like her

So many things. So so many, I just…Ruby is my ideal heroine/lead character.

Here, let me explain…

The very first time we meet Ruby, she is standing in front of her mother’s gravestone. Even if we didn’t know that at the time, we knew it was significant. It already grounded her - it gave her character a base. As we’ve gotten to know more about her and seen her talk about/to her mother, it’s only shown more of how much Summer meant to her in such a short time.

Ruby based her entire look of of her mother, because she wants so desperately to make this woman she barely was able to know proud. She’s perhaps idealized her mother, but that’s okay - it’s made her who she is. Ruby has a lot of baggage and I hope that as the show continues on, we get to see more and more of it. She grew up very lonely, mostly by choice. Not interested in social interaction and not very good at it either. That was incredibly relatable to me.

Also, she is a bad ass. She is so tiny, but carries around this giant weapon that she loves so much and made herself which is amazing. I have these images of little Ruby up all hours of the night putting this thing together - working on it without breaks until Yang finally has to drag her away to eat and shower and sleep. Ruby’s drive to be a huntress is admirable and yet it’s built so much on this foundation of good.

The most vital quality Ruby has is her heart. It’s huge and it’s pure. When she talks to Blake about why she wants to be a huntress, it’s perfect. Yes she loves hunting monsters, but she wants to keep people safe. She wants to do her mother proud and protect the innocent - to keep up that fight. Much like the passion with her weapon, Ruby is a character that would have to be dragged away from someone in need. She wouldn’t be able to help herself from helping someone else. Even at her own expense.

Also, Ruby’s growth (and not just the hair growth which I also love and want MORE). When we first met her, she was a loner who only wanted to fight and be with Crescent Rose and a few weapons magazines. Still, Yang advised her to try and make friends and she did. She tried with the hardest subject she could find in Weiss Schnee and not only did they become friends (along with the rest of RWBY/JNPR/SSSN/Penny), they became almost a family and Ruby would do anything for them.

(ignore the text, old gif, all I have) This brings me to Penny and how important Penny is to Ruby’s story and why I love her. The significance of how Ruby accepted Penny spoke volumes. She didn’t hesitate, not for a second, in just accepting that Penny was a robot and that she wasn’t any less because of that. So much so that even Penny was surprised at how well she took the news. Ruby sees people as they are - good or bad. She accepts it and them and she tries her hardest to make them feel welcome. She did the same with Blake. Blake being a faunus only mattered to Ruby because she thought the ears were cute. That’s the only thing that changed in Ruby’s eyes when she found out.

Resiliency is one of the greatest things a hero can have, and Ruby Rose has it in spades. She lost so much at the fall of Beacon, most of all her innocence that the world was, for the most part, as good as she wanted it to be. It would have been easy for her, at 15, to drop her fight and succumb to the fact that bad things just happen. She lost her team, her education at Beacon, her sister had even given up. Ruby didn’t - she was determined to continue to fight and to protect the world like she’d always wanted. Her innocence may, at times, be a flaw - but I also think it’s wonderful because it’s so filled with hope. I love hope when it comes to heroes. I want the hero that smiles and laughs and shows they care instead of pretending they don’t.

She’s funny too, like one of the most underrated aspects of Ruby’s character is just how damn funny she is. A lot of that credit goes to Lindsay Jones, her voice actress, who delivers the lines so perfectly times and even the ones she ad-libs (like Blake enjoying tuna) just bring so much personality to her. Subtle things like answering Oobleck with a “yo” when asked who wants first watch or giggling like crazy at Jaune’s hoodie. She sees the joy in the world, even when it’s dark and I LOVE that. She’s a giant dork in the best way possible.

I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to see where this girl is going and who she’s going to become. I want to see her develop all of her talents and be the leader and hero she’s destined to be. I love Ruby because she’s good, purely good and not an anti-hero or cliched dark/emotionless warrior. She’s a kid with a gigantic high impact sniper scythe who loves cookies and fighting monsters and will do anything to keep the people she loves safe.

Winter 2017 Anime watchlist

Lmao this was supposed to go up last week but it takes me forever to write these things up orz.

Anyway, we’re 1/3 of the way into this barren Winter season, and thus my watchlist has shrunk significantly. I think I’m currently watching what, 10 shows? vs 23-ish last season? Anyway we’ve had a couple neat surprises this season, but it’s mostly the sequels that are keeping everything interesting. Also there’s quality hatewatch material which I hadn’t had in a while.

Because I fucked up, this time I’m going from best to worst rather than the usual opposite

Top Priority

Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju: Futatabi Sukeroku-hen

To no one’s surprise, Rakugo maintains it’s tightly written character drama in top form. The direction is still unusually creative and masterful, especially considering this is a DEEN anime, production team deserves every kudo. If season one was a tragedy, season 2 is gearing up for a story of salvation. Every week I go in completely prepared to suffer and am repeatedly surprised by how happy I feel at the end of each episode.  Scenes like Yakumo consoling a sleeping Konatsu with her father’s rakugo or his performing an old play in Sukeroku’s style for Yotaro are as heart-wrenching as they’re heartwarming. S1 was a strong contender for anime of the year 2016 (and for me it was a toss up between that and YOI) and season 2 seems ready to pick on that and go for a second run.

Ao no Exorcist: Kyoto saga

Honestly this one had my full devotion guaranteed when they decided to commit to those thick af Kansai accents. I am also very pleased with the budget this is getting, it looks reeeaaally nice. Kato’s designs have translated to animation greatly (not that this was a surprise since they did that pretty well on the first series too). The plot seems to be moving rather fast so I wonder if they won’t suffer to fill in the full cour (although this arc is quite long) but for the time being I’m excited to get the Kyoto otaku in me continually catered to.

Yowamushi Pedal: Next Generation

I was a Little dubious about how well they’d manage the transition of Makishima’s departure, and while killing him off was rather abrupt to the point I’d even say the guy was fridged for the sake of Onoda’s development, they did a rather good job in setting Teshima as the new role model for the 1st years (who is also very dreamy). I also laughed my ass off with how gigantic they made Ashikiba who is a rather delightful addition to the cast. Kudos to you show, you’ve got me excited in a new season even without my favorite character.

Little Witch Academia

It’s hard to find something to say about this show other than it’s energetic, lively and fun to a fault and that Sucy is still Best Girl. It’s very easy to tell how passionate the folks at TRIGGER are about this project and I’m glad they didn’t give up and continued to work on it even if it was poorly received by Japanese audiences. The show reminds me a bit of The Worst Witch, which I used to love in my early teens so there’s also that.

This is such a fascinatingly disturbing show to watch. Like watching a trainwreck I guess, except that it’s not a trainwreck in the sense of Hand Shakers, but in you’re just watching all these horrible people destroy each other and self-destruct emotionally and it’s really interesting. I’m particularly invested in Hanabi’s internal struggle and self-deprecation. Could complete dispose of Moca (whose choice of nickname makes my skin crawl) but otherwise I’m constantly at the edge of my seat waiting for the next developments. I also continue to be rather fond of the vagina imagery in the ending, and I appreciate that there’s actually a show that treats female sexuality in a layered, human way, for purposes beyond otaku titillation.

All Out!!

This show continues to grow on me with its unique approach to team dynamics. The fact that rugby teams are so big gives us an interesting opportunity of seeing many characters take the spotlight at different times, and this show’s cast continues to be funny and extremely likable to the point that even if Gion has had to sit out most of the games, and even if there isn’t as much focus on Sekizan as I’d like, they’re still engaging and fun. There have also been genuinely emotional peaks, notoriously when that one guy quite the team and it crushed Sekizan’s heart. Also kudos for how even in-show Sekizan’s amazing hair is considered cray-cray

Honestly this second cour just keeps getting better? I don’t know how they did it but they managed to make me not care about whether we’ll ever get some semblance of plot or explanations, I could watch the Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Chopin and Liszt doing nonsense stuff show all year round. Whoever wrote the Fish!Schubert episode should get an Oscar and a Nobel Prize

ACCA 13-ku Kansatsu-ka

Aaaahhh what should I do about you, show. Ep 1 was okay, ep 2 was great, ep 3 was kind of nothing. There’s obviously way more than meets the eye in this allegedly peaceful country and once that starts to unfold the show will start gaining momentum, hopefully, but as it is I think it suffers greatly from how inscrutable the main character is. I have no idea of Jean’s motivations beyond his love of cigarettes (and I feel they’re overdoing it, unless they plan to make the tabacco thing a  crucial part of the plot later on, they’re hammering the whole ‘tobacco is rare and this guy is weird for smoking’ thing way too hard) so we’re at this weird position of not really knowing where we’re going. I’m intrigued enough to keep watching, but I certainly hope we get some form of interesting developments sooner rather than later.

Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans

The writing continues to be notoriously better while the story gets more and more tragic and I still don’t know how to feel about it. Seeing bad guys cheating their way to victory always upsets me a lot, and seeing people die meaninglessly only adds insult to injury. I’m in too deep to drop it at this point, but I honestly can’t forgive how they didn’t even give us that final revenge moment against the Kujan kid. Also every time Atra brings up her dream life of being part of a polyamorous marriage with Mikazuki creeps me the fuck out because obviously Mikazuki doesn’t have the emotional maturity to engage in any such relationship

I’m very uncertain about what to do with this show. First episode was promising, with murky direction, but interesting setting. Episode two was mostly unimpressive, the final twist was rather predictable and the moral outcome wasn’t particularly satisfying. And then episode three put me to sleep. My first impression was that the dyamics between Heizo and his thief-turned-snitch subordinate would be the core of the show, but the latter seems to have been mostly sidelined in favor of focusing on the coolness of Heizo. Which isn’t a problem per say, but the execution just isn’t working and they’re completely wasting the Edo setting, with the cases turning out quite generic. I don’t know, ep 4 is already out so I guess I’ll check that out and decide from there (watched episode 4 already, fell asleep again which I guess is as good a sign as any that this isn’t working for me,but I’m too lazy to move it to the bottom. Dropped)

Hand Shakers

Why is this pile of steaming garbage over the mediocre (and gross) show? Well, this one’s gross too, but exceedingly terrible is always better for ironic entertainment than plain boring stuff. At least Hand Shakers keeps me engrossed with its terribleness. Honest to good, even if I hardly remember what the previous episode was about, I’m always looking forward to the next one, I enjoy the terribleness too much.

Also, this is a little insignificant, but this is the first time I see any reference to the Japanese immigrants in Brazil (th, which was kind of a big thing back in the 1930s, in any anime I’ve ever watched, and since I had to look up into that for my thesis, it felt kinda nice to see it and understand why Brazil of all countries.

Super Lovers 2

This is so boring. Even when they try to address the issues I had with the previous season (mainly questioning the nature of Haru and Ren’s relationship), they always do it half-assedly. No drama, no tension, no resolution and certainly no semblance of any plot progression and it’s becoming increasingly tedious. The introduction of the new host guy could add at least some drama to the plot, but I’m not holding my breath. The dog continues to be cute

I dropped Marginal #4 since episode 2 and I can’t quite remember what it was about other than there was a long sequence of one of the guys desperately looking for his “lucky undies” and I’m too old for this level of juvenile “lol undies” humor. Turns out “not putting me to sleep” wasn’t that strong an asset after all.

Anyway really dead season but the scarce good stuff is really quite good, and the truly terrible stuff is so terrible it’s hilarious so overall the season doesn’t feel as terrible as it could.

I loved how Yakov praised Yuuri (and kind of sassed Viktor) for his compulsory figures. It really shows that he's an old-school skater and maybe was one of the outraged folks from when comp. figures were removed from the scoring system. I wonder if he also thinks that the contemporary stress on jumps and overall athleticism is removing the beauty from the sport? Btw, you continue to amaze me with the depth of your research. That was just one of many little sniplets that shows it. u rock <3

Haha, I’ve been waiting to put in a bit about compulsory figures for ages! Ever since I saw lots of people on tumblr talking about how Yakov would love Yuuri as Yuuri seems like a more traditional skater and does figures for fun and to warm up all the time whereas Viktor probably hated them and how Yuuri would have easily beaten Viktor in the old days when compulsory figures were such a big part of the competition

the-last-alicorn  asked:

Can we just take a moment to reflect on how ingenious the formula for the Kamen Rider/Super Sentai series is? Each season is effectively a reboot that last for a year, with a definite tonal and design shift for each season so that you'll never get bored with the premise and you'll always check out the next season to see if you'll like it better. Plus all the merchandise. Theoretically, Toei could keep these series running FOREVER. That is just insane to me. Awesome, but insane.

It’s something you really wouldn’t see in the US, where continuity matters so much.  It’s also amazing because it means there are NEVER breaks between seasons. Because they are different shows with different actors and different directors and people working on them, you can have the next series in production while the one before it is still airing.

Contrast that with an American or even British production where there are huge gaps between seasons to accommodate time off needed for the actors, writers and producers. You would never see a series (aside from a game show or news program) running continuously year after year, one seasons starting right after the other.  Especially not a scripted sci-fi/fantasy series heavy on effects.

However, thanks to the format of Kamen Rider/Super Sentai you do have that in Japan.  When one series ends, another starts the week after.  You don’t really get a break and it actually creates a kind of interest months before the new show starts.  Heck, I was so psyched when the NAME Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger got leaked with what the possibilities might be for the next show even while I was still very much enjoying Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger

I bet all of us fans get at least a little excited when we start hears rumors about what’s coming next or see the initial designs for a new series.  We also know that it will be coming so soon once those start to be revealed. It’s also a great marketing idea because if you, for some reason, don’t enjoy the current series you just have to wait a little while and something NEW will come along. It creates a lot less drop off than if, say, the current season of NCIS is crap and you have to wait through reruns and a huge break before you get more of the same with the same characters and same writers.  There is something to be said for that constant renewal you get with Japanese tokusatsu series.

Honestly, it had all been fun and games at the beginning. But now, it was like a hurricane had hit. It stormy and intense, and all of it could be seen in Kihyun’s small, brown eyes that were piercing into you like knives that cut cut your heart straight open from one single blink.

He wasn’t drunk, only a little intoxicated, and so were you. Of course you were, you wouldn’t have been so affectionate to Wonho in any other state.

But the scene with Wonho and the other members at the bar was long gone. Now you were back in the dorms, the door to Kihyun’s room had been used for him to push you up against it before deciding to lock it to stop any unwanted company from entering.

Kihyun growled at you, he had been unable to say anything the whole way home. Too pissed off, to fiery to let anything slip, he obviously didn’t trust himself enough to say anything with such raging emotions coursing through his veins.

Then he kissed you roughly, almost taking the life from you altogether it was so intense and strong. You could taste the distinctive mix of alcohol on his tongue, that he was now pushing into your mouth in dominance, setting your body on fire, dusting crimson against your cheeks.

The distant footsteps and voices could be heard echoing in the dorms outside as the other members stumbled in, all shitfaced and loud. But Kihyun didn’t care, you could tell, because his hands were now all up your shirt, feeling every inch of your soft skin.

You mumbled against his lips, edging him off and moving onto your neck. It actually took you by surprise when he spoke.

“I don’t like how you were sat with Wonho earlier,” he snarled against your neck, his hot breath crazing against it hotly.

“We were just messing about.” You responded, which in all honesty, was the truth. It wasn’t anything drastic. Okay sure, he had his arm over your shoulders and you weren’t exactly objecting when he asked you to feel his muscles. But it wasn’t as if you kissed him, or even hugged him for that matter. It was just playing around, nothing major, nothing personal.

“Just messing about, eh? How about I just mess around with you. How would you like that?” He was growling again seductively, nipping against your neck with his teeth while his hand glided down your torso and to your inner thigh, making sure he wasn’t touching you where he knew you wanted to be.

“But I-” You tried to protest.

“No buts. I think you’re forgetting who you’re talking to. I think you forgot who wears the pants in this relationship.” He suddenly grabbed the loops of your jeans and pulled you into him before walking backwards towards the bed, his lips still latching onto yours.

He didn’t pull away until he had finally pinned you against the mattress, and it was only to tear your shirt from your body, and to take his off his own.

Then he brought his body down brushing his bulge against your clothed core, setting your insides alight with pleasure as he rocked, created a friction built on pleasure, pushing a moan out of your lips.

“I never want to see you flirting with any other man but me, do you understand?” Kihyun asked, arousing you to no end as he pulled your bra clean off you before working your jeans and underwear too, until you were finally naked beneath him and he was the same and top.

He smirked down at you as he pressed his finder against your thigh, making circles in the skin once again, dancing around the place you needed him. It was times like these that really fueled Kihyun’s ego, when he could make you putty in his hands.

“Kihyun, please-”

As soon as the words escaped your lips, Kihyun’s smirk broadened.

“You want it now? Alright then, jagiya.”

He didn’t give you a moment to prepare before pushing himself inside of you, and didn’t give you a single moment to adjust before he started moving roughly.

You moaned loudly in surprise, the scene at the bar with Wonho further than a distant memory, all you could think of was Kihyun, and how amazing he felt.

He then continued to pound harder, moving his hips in that advanced way that really showed off his dancing hips.

It didn’t take you long to come close, and it was obvious that Kihyun wasn’t far off too, because he was also moaning audibly, it sounded musical, and beautiful in your ears.

“Kihyun I-”

“Me too-”

He thrusted to ride out the final beats before collapsing next to you on the mattress, groaning after the truly hot experience.

“I think I should make you jealous more often.” You turned to look at him as he wrapped his arms around your waist.

“I don’t think so sweetheart, not being to walk on a regular basis and bruises all over your neck is going to start making people suspicious.” He chuckled.

You smiled, listening to the sound of his heavy breaths until you finally fell to unconsciousness in his arms.

Fairly Screechy THOUGHTS about 406

GUYS WE GOT AN INTERRUPTED LOVE CONFESSION ON A BEACH HOLY SHIT I HAVE A LOT TO SAY ABOUT THAT SO STAY TUNED.

But first: Raven continues to be the best, and I am enjoying her refusal to forgive Murphy.  I didn’t love the insinuation that he hates himself more for what he did to her, simply because we’ve seen no evidence of that and I prefer Murphy to remain my Cockroach Prince with vague wooby tendencies that he tends to dismiss and not my Fully Woobified Prince but everything else about that storyline– Luna being perfect, Raven being a ball of anger and determination, Murphy being a moderately helpful asshole– was amazing so I’ll allow it.

Monty continues to be the MVP of my life while Jaha has been downgraded to a Disappointment on Several Fronts.  Monty bringing up Wells was an excellent OH SNAP moment, and I do like that this show uses Wells as their trump card but only sparingly.  (Also we need a new phrase for trump card; it’s giving me anxiety now thanks to the president.)  Using Wells too often would feel exploitive, and for awhile there it seemed like they’d forgotten him entirely.  But once or twice a season his name should be brought back as the Platonic Ideal of a Human, because he WAS.

Beard Dad was similarly amazeballs this episode as he tried to keep Murder Child #2 in line and considered adopting Murderous Elf Prince as Murder Child number #3, but his storyline was caught up in the complete abject mess that is Octavia’s motivations which was less satisfying.

And like…here’s the thing about Octavia and her anger this episode: I like that the show doesn’t give us easy solutions to things like grief, but her character arc feels out of order, especially because of 405.  In 405 we had Octavia risking her life to protect her people and giving Ilian an impassioned speech about how revenge doesn’t help and then…she’s back to revenge again?  It’s also very unclear why she’s so angry with Murderous Elf Prince.  Sure, he sort of condemned them all to die, but it wasn’t personal and she’s acting like it is, which is weird.  I honestly think it would have been better to have someone else warn Arkadia that Azgeda was coming (maybe Ilian could have done it to get people out of the way before he burned it?) and then have Monty take Octavia’s place with Niylah to try and talk Murderous Elf Prince out of it while Octavia was off healing with Indra.  It would have robbed us of that beautiful Bellamy-Clarke-Octavia triad shot at the end of 405 (and Bellamy holding his baby sister like on the day she was born, *sob*) but it would have made more sense in terms of her character. (It sort of felt like “Marie is contracted to be in this episode and we don’t have time for a separate storyline for Octavia with Indra, so fuck it she’ll be fine for 405 and back to Murder Child for 406.”) But that adjustment would have also taken away Bellamy’s angst which I am more interested in, so it’s sort of a wash.

Clarke’s scene with Niylah was lovely and healing and I’m very happy she has someone like Niylah in her life, but honestly I was so distracted by how fine her compartments were that I couldn’t pay too much attention.  Arkadia EXPLODED in the last episode, and Clarke’s room was…not touched by that at all, apparently.  (Yes I know Monty said they lost half of the sleeping quarters which implies the other half were fine, but like…IT EXPLODED.  EXPLODED.)

But REALLY what I want to talk about is the Fury Roadtrip, because Bellarke+ Roan being action heroes was everything I ever wanted.  I loved that they basically took turns dealing with Roan, because he is King of Annoying Them just as they are King and Queen of Annoying Him In Return.  So much mutual annoyance and respect; it was seriously the greatest thing ever.

Sidenote: I like that despite the fact that Arkadia was responsible for massacring their army, the Trikru guys were like “hey can we get a ride?”  I’m fine with them moving on, but being carpool buddies level friends feels strange.  Also, Roan: CLOSE THE BACK FLAP IF YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE UNDERCOVER.  Your men can peek out the gaps in the side to keep an eye on things.  This is not rocket science, as Raven will gladly tell you.

Particular things I liked: Bellamy’s hesitation to uncover the body, where you could see him bracing himself to find Clarke dead, followed by almost instantaneous relief that it wasn’t her and guilt that it was one of Roan’s men.  Bellamy was having a no good very bad day, but at least Clarke was still alive.  Naturally, I also adored every single fucking thing about the car chase, from Bellamy and Roan bickering to Roan JUMPING FROM ONE MOVING CAR TO ANOTHER to Clarke being our favorite crafty slytherin and slowing down/elbowing the guy with a sword to her throat so Bellamy could snipe him.  Bellamy and Clarke’s relieved smiles at each other after that was like pure sunshine on a dreary day, because even while in separate speeding trucks they’re In The Drift.

Hookay, so: Octavia, Clarke, and Bellamy’s feelings.  I have a lot to say about this, but I do like that this episode established two things: 1) Bellamy is not giving up on Octavia and 2) Clarke is not giving up on Bellamy.  His “you gave us a scare” to O was so heartbreakingly gentle and relieved, so to be faced with her anger after that felt like a slap in the face, as I think it was intended.  It bothered him, but he’s still not going to let it slide.

What we saw on the beach though, was basically how Bellamy and Clarke are seeing the future– he sees an inescapable end, and she sees hope.  His entire refrain this episode was essentially “we don’t have enough time for Octavia to forgive me,” while Clarke was like “NO WE HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD WE WILL SURVIVE THIS.”  He’s got the pressure of a ticking clock behind him, but Clarke isn’t accepting that and so she’s not in “say your last words to the people you love” mode yet.  But very significantly, Bellamy is.  Octavia hates him but he doesn’t want to die with things the way they are, so he’s going back to face her until they make things right.  He tried to tell Clarke that he loved her (and importantly, I don’t think he expected reciprocity there– that was just a I need you to know this moment) but Bellamy knows Clarke, and he knows that if the nightblood solution isn’t working she will stay on Science Island until they find something that does.  With the radiation looming, he’s not sure she will ever make it back to Arkadia, so he’s not saying this with any hope of a future.  He’s saying it because everything is ending and he doesn’t want to die with things left unsaid.

But Clarke is back in fighting mode (partially thanks to Bellamy in 403) and so she’s not ready to hear his goodbyes.  She’s going to tell him to go home and wait for his sister to come around, because that’s what he needs right now– Octavia.  She’s telling him him he’s special (which is kiiiind of a weird thing to say about siblings, but Clarke was also clearly speaking for herself there and also she doesn’t have a sibling so I’ll allow it) and then says she’ll see him later.  Clarke still believes they have a future, and that’s really fucking important in terms of understanding where they are in that moment.

Also…guys, he was gonna say that he loved her.  On a beach.  What a romantic, dramatic prince of everything I love him so much.

A few photos from Leicester… (well technically the top one of @girlonabridge and I was taken in Belfast, but y'know. Aeroplane and all that.)

We had a fab get together with the lovely @tea-and-procrastination - our hotel was literally stumbling distance from the Curve - seriously folks, for those who need and haven’t booked yet, look at the Ramada Encore. It was also cheaper than either Premier Inn or Travel Lodge when I booked in Jan.

The play is gleefully disgraceful, it’s a DELIGHT. Catherine is right when she says it take a shot at everyone. And imo, because of that, you can laugh at all the jokes. (Including the ones aimed at lesbians.)

I personally recommend going in NOT having read the play. (And Catherine thinks I made the right call on that.) you can see a play once you’ve read it as many times as you like - but you can only see it with fresh eyes once. (And I say this as the queen of spoilers for general drama.)

It’s a pressurehead of steam that builds and blows up, builds more and blows up more… utterly, truly hilarious. And Catherine is fabulous - to no one’s surprise 😜 I don’t know why they’re billing it as Rufus Hound particularly, because it really is an ensemble show.

The place to meet Catherine is at the lift to their dressing rooms, which is found on the cafe side (use the cafe entrance if going in) beyond the toilets, on your left.

Meeting Catherine was glorious. She was in a bit of a rush - partly to get on the road back to London, mainly to get a smoke in first, so she begged that we chat outside so she could do so. She seemed genuinely - delightedly - shocked that @girlonabridge and I had come from NI. She recognised my face! I made a comment about “I tweet you fairly regularly…” “…I know, I recognise your face…” “…but my wife is more restrained. This is my wife.” (Indicating M.) “Hello wife!” I shit you not. Catherine would tell Dad jokes, I am Certain.

We talked about the links between acting and law, and she gave me advice on how to deal with nerves pre performing (which I doubt I’ll ever forget!) and about her cats, and generally about the show and how fabulous it was. She was very taken with the adjective “gleeful”.

In short (because I was supposed to leave for uni ten minutes ago and I haven’t got out of bed yet) - she’s a DARLING.

She didn’t look at the scarf then and there because she was smoking, but promised she was looking forward to opening it when she got home - and her tweet that it was “amazing” is still making me grin.

As for the play, we continued erupting into giggles for about two hours that night, and again on Sunday.

We also ensured hysteria on Sunday morning by playing Fanfic Reviews (the Fanfic version of Book Reviews, which is the fun variant of Consequences paper game) in the Costa near the train station. 10/10 would recommend.

Insecurities (Josh Dun)

Hell this is my second ever imagine I have written on this blog and I am thankful for the notes I received on my first post, as always feel free to drop some requests in my inbox and I will try to get round to doing them as soon as possible.

I was in a very sappy mood so I decided that I was going to write some emotional stuff about Josh being insecure about his looks as well as comparing himself to Tyler.

I want you to know that everyone reading this out there is beautiful even if people tell you any different (Including yourself) Trust me you pretty and beautiful every single day. If you ever want someone to speak to feel free to send me a message. :)

Triggers: Josh talks about body parts he dislikes such as, hair, eyes, chest, tattoos, and height. If any of the things above trigger you please be careful, however they are only brief mentions and don't go into any detail.

Josh POV

I have alway been slightly an anxious person throughout my life, whether that means hiding behind my powerful drum kit and letting Tyler be the main attraction during concerts or breaking into a small sweat when I order at a restaurant scared that I will mess up a simple order. However I thought that the one thing that I was able to control really well was the amount of negative comments me and Tyler often receive, I tend to just block them out because I know how many positive comments we get back from our fans, but something is different.

As I sit on the cold sheets at the very edge of the bed that me and my girlfriend (Y/N) share I can’t help but hear all these pessimistic words flood into my ears. I am sitting shirtless with only a pair of basketball shorts laying low on my hips, my elbows creating red marks on my thighs from where I had been leaning on my hands for a period of time. I didn’t know where this ongoing battle in my brain was leading to but instantaneously, I couldn’t handle in any more and the tears cascaded down my cheeks all at once as if every hurtful, mean and spiteful comment I have ever read suddenly turned to a pool of tears I was slowly creating on the crisp clean bed sheets, I have no idea what has come over me but I don’t feel this flood of emotions starting to slow down anytime soon. I suddenly remembered that (Y/N) is downstairs and that I should quieten down, the last thing I want to do is worry her about my stupid problems. I quickly jump up off the bed and rush over to the large mirror that was on the wall above a chest of drawers and stared into it

She doesn't love you

She doesn't really want to be with you

Did you actually think that someone like (Y/N) would actually want to date someone like you.

Everyone likes Tyler more than you

Tyler is the attractive one

All you do is play the drums, Tyler does so much more and you just sit there

I look in the mirror that was in front of me, I stare into my dark brown eyes, brown boring old brown, I look at my bubblegum pink hair, its horrible, not even a natural colour. I continue to pinpoint different things on my body, my tattoos, my chest, my height and the list goes on.

“Josh are you alright? You have been in their a while now” I hear (Y/N) call from outside the door, with concern laced in her voice. I look once again into the glass mirror and rub the salty tears from my eyes trying my hardest to rid any evidence that I had been crying.

“Yes I’m fine, I will be out in a second” I reply unconvincingly because my voice broke halfway through.

“Josh, I know you’re upset please can I come in?” (Y/N) asks, (Y/N) wasnt stupid she knew when I was upset I don’t even know why I tried to hide it from her because I knew that she would just find out anyway. She was also stubborn so no matter how many times I tell her I am fine she wont stop pestering me to make sure that I really am alright.

I dont respond in the fear that my voice won’t be able to support me, I walk back over and sit on the bed like I was previously. (Y/N) pokes her head from around the door and sees me with my head in my hands trying with all that is left in me to fight back the tears that were threatening to spill.

“Oh Josh” (Y/N) exclaims sadly, putting her small her to her mouth and rushes over to comfort me.

I feel her protective arms wrap around my shoulders, I respond automatically by turning to her and burying my head into her soft sweet smelling hair, I continue to cry into her shoulder for another few minutes until I am settled enough to talk.

I explain to (Y/N) about all the emotions I have been experiencing and that I felt like people like Tyler more than me because he sings as well as play other instruments. I continue to speak to ashamed to look up at her softened glance. But when I finally do I notice she is also crying, however she speedily wipes the tears away not wanting to show her emotions on the situation.

“Josh, I can only understand that you being in a famous that at times it is going to get overwhelming for you, having all these amazing fans look up to you, admire you. However I know that you and Tyler are going to get your share of negative comments, but honestly that is because they are jealous, they are jealous that they can’t play the drums, they are jealous that it isn’t them on stage surrounded by thousands of people who love them, they are jealous that they can’t tour with their best friend, fuck that the people who say these low life comments proably don’t have a best friend.” (Y/N) takes a sharp intake of breath and swallows hard.

“(Y/N) I-”

“I’m not finished” She cuts me off and I stay silent looking at her from the side, at this angle I can see how the low moonlight reflects beautifully off of her glistening eyes. She truly is beautiful.

“Do you know how upset it makes me when you say all these untrue negative things about yourself, Josh you are beautiful, personality wise and appearance wise, I love your chocolate brown eyes, because I love the way that they widen when you hear something funny, I love your pink hair because it suits your personality and I love the way that it sticks to your forehead when you play the drums.”

I cant stop grinning, I didnt realise that she picked up on all these small details about me.

“I love the your tattoos they look amazing, I love that when you are asleep next to me I trace over them softly not to wake you, I love your body all of it I love your toned chest and the way that your back glistens with sweat you have been playing the drums for a while. I love how tall you are you may not be the tallest but you don’t need to be any taller because your height is the perfect height for me to do this”

(Y/N) then gives me a quick and small peck on the lips, I grin widely.

“I love you Josh alot, and so do thousands if not millions of fans out there.” She finishes and tightens her grip around me. I sit in shock I didnt realise I did all of those things myself so I was surprised when (Y/N) picked up on them.

“Wow, I don’t know what to say, I mean how did you notice all these things about me?” I question a smirk appearing on my face. I see (Y/N) duck her head down as a red blush forms on her cheeks.

“I dont know I just, notice” She replies, I chuckle deeply.

“I love you (Y/N) and I’m sorry, I’m sorry for upsetting you”

“Josh it’s alright really, as long as you are feeling better then I am ok to. I love you” She says with a genuine smile on her lips.

We both sit there in silence for a minute just taking in each others company. (Y/N) stands up suddenly and stretched her arm out towards me, encouraging me to take her hand.

“C’mon, lets go watch a film and cuddle on the sofa for a bit” She suggests, I grin

“that sounds perfect.”

Casualties- Chapter 1 (1/?)

A new story is here! Hello to all! I’ve been plotting, writing, re-plotting, editing, and re-writing for the past few weeks, but I finally think that I have a groove going on. This is my first time dabbling into Modern AUs, so I hope that it turns out okay. Some things will be quite different in this story (i.e., I’ve changed up Emma’s background a little bit and whatnot), but I will try my best to make sure that I explain everything clearly so that it will be easy to follow along. I really hope that you all enjoy!

RATED M for LANGUAGE and ANGST and other stuff.

@kmomof4

“And the Emmy for best actress in a drama series goes to…” Emma closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to summon her fake smile that she would have to portray when she lost. “Emma Swan in ‘Casualties’!”

A roar of applause echoed around the arena, causing Emma’s heart to fall into her stomach and her eyes to snap wide open. She turned to her side and saw her brother standing up, clapping and cheering her on. “Stand up, Em. You won!”

She turned to the director of the television show that she starred in and waited for confirmation that this was not a dream. Director and Writer, August Booth stood up and cheered loudly. “Go on!”

Emma heard the MC speaking over the applause and she smiled brightly as she finally stood up, covering her gaping mouth with her hand. “This is Emma Swan’s first Emmy nomination, and first Emmy win.”

She quickly pulled her brother, David, into her arms for a quick embrace before walking slowly and carefully to the steps of the stage. She looked up and saw famous actress, Aurora, standing on the stage waiting to present Emma with her award.

After successfully climbing the stairs, she walked over to Aurora and gave her a tight hug.

“I’m so happy for you, Emma. Congratulations!” Aurora said into her ear.

“Thank you.” Emma smiled through her joyful tears as she was handed her Emmy.

After taking another deep breath, she stood in front of the microphone— waiting to give her acceptance speech.

“I want to make this quick because I feel like I might be sick.” She laughed as she tightened her grip on the golden trophy. “Seriously, this is insane. Okay… um first of all, I want to thank my brother. He’s stuck by my side through everything that I have been through, and words cannot describe how much I love and appreciate you. To his wife, Mary Margaret, I love you. Thank you for being the sister that I never had.”

Emma felt her lips quivering and she chuckled and tried to blink away her tears as she continued. “I have to thank my publicist and good friend, Regina. I would be so lost without you. I also want to thank the amazing cast and crew, and my second family— August, Graham, Lance, Mulan, Tink, and Killian. I want to thank the Academy for giving me this opportunity; and lastly, I want to thank all of the incredible fans for not only watching the show, but for loving the show as much as I do. 'Casualties’ means so much to me, you honestly have no idea, and I am so grateful for all of those who have fallen in love with Laiken Halle and her story. Thank you.”

Emma stepped away from the microphone and flashed the audience with one more smile before turning away and walking away, the sound of applause and cheers filling her ears as she disappeared behind the curtains.

I really hope all the amazing fanfiction writers keep writing wonderful stuff, that the DCBB continues even after the show ends. If i have fanfiction I might be able to be okay with the show ending, but otherwise? Shit, it'll be hard. Also, I think I saw on your blog several posts that mentioned you should comment on fanfics and I've been doing that for quite a while and I literally saw how happy the authors were. It's an awesome feeling to 'give back' in a way, so thanks for making me aware. ♥

Yes, it’s always great to leave comments!

And also YES! fandom can thrive years after a show is over - and look at movie fandoms - they do great with a few hours of content. Nothing is ever over in fandom as long as we keep going.

Part One

Part Two

So your dad was six, five, four, three and too mad when you told him about your new living arrangement. You couldn’t tell which annoyed him more. The two boys you invited to live with you, the fact that you threw yourself into such a dangerous situation, or that you had made all these decisions without ever consulting him.

Luckily for you, his relief that you were OK and how proud of you he was outweighed his initial reaction.

But he said that if you were adult enough to make such important decisions then you were adult enough to deal with the aftermath.

Meaning you were responsible for your new house guest, so you had to figure out where they would sleep, what they would do all day, what their rules were and if they messed up anything you were responsible.

The whole while that your dad was laying up your responsibilities Felix and Peter were sitting on the couch. Looking around at everything, but mostly they watched you and your dad.

Finally the speech was over and you motioned the two Lost Boys to follow you, leading them to the bathroom.

‘Why are we here? Felix asked.

‘No offence, but you boys smell like you haven’t bathed properly in centuries.’ you said.

They both looked down at themselves and then back at the white bathroom.

‘Alright.’ Felix said as he threw  his hood back and began to take it off.

‘Woah! Stop!’ you shouted, stopping him from continuing.

‘What are you doing?’ you blushed.

‘Getting undressed? Unless you people clean yourselves while fully dressed.’

‘We don’t, we also don’t find it polite to be naked in front of people we just met. Just let me show you how to work the shower before your strip to your birthday suit.’ you said.

You showed both Felix and Peter how to differentiate between the shower head and the bath spout, how to control the water temperature. Then you handed them each a bottle of soap, nothing too gender exclusive, just Dove.

‘Neverland had no such magic.’ Felix said in amazement.

‘Not magic, just plumbing and water heaters, well now you have to shower one at a time, unless you two want to be in a small space while wet and naked.’ you said.

‘No thanks.’ Peter said.

‘I agree.’ Felix added.

OK, so now I take off the clothes?’ Felix asked.’

‘Wait til me and Peter leave, and before you get in drop your clothes by the door, so I can wash them.’ you said before you and Peter left.

You waited until you heard the shower turn on before you closed your eyes and opened the door. You bent down and grabbed the pile of close and immediately closed the door.

You took a deep breath of relief.

‘That was both terrifying and and exciting.’ you sighed.

‘Kinda like realizing that you are alone with someone who wants to kill you.’

Your eyes snap to Peter and you see the same look of hate from the mayor’s house on Peter’s face.

For a second you worry he might actually try to kill you with his strength alone, but you quickly calmed yourself.

‘You’re not gonna hurt me, because it wont help you in anyway, if anything it will make things harder for you if I died.’ you said confidently.

‘How do you figure?’ he challenged.

‘I already let you know that I’m the only one in this town interested in keeping your heart beating. If that isn’t enough for you to want me around, how about the fact that I’m the only one who can take that bracelet off of you.’ you said.

That made his look of defiance falter.

‘And if you somehow still decided to kill me, there is a whole town against you, powerless little you.’

Peter looked like he was holding back an actual growl of hatred.

‘This isn’t over.’ he glared.

‘I think it is.’
