also the way he says please

It surprises me to read comments from self-proclaimed comic book/superhero nerds diss Doctor Strange and his involvement in MCU. It astonishes me even more to know that some of those people feel that way because they don’t like Benedict Cumberbatch. Surprised and confused face for days.jpg. I know. I can’t believe it either… Anyways, here’s what I have to say.

I love seeing Doctor Strange so involved with the Avengers. We know he’s going to be in Thor: Ragnarok. We saw a teaser at the end of the DS film but there’s also this display at San Diego Comic Con:

That’s the Hulk, Loki and Thor in their new movie gear. Who else is right there with them? Doctor Strange! I find it pleasing that they included him here because that means he’s significant. Even if his appearance in Ragnarok is a quick bit, it’s important enough to be mentioned and shown. You go, Stephen!

We know for sure he’s going to be in Infinity War. What his exact role consists of is yet to be known. However, we’ve seen images of them filming and we can speculate.

- Thanos is looking for all the infinity stones. They haven’t really specified but it’s good to point out that the Time Stone is not the Eye of Agamotto. That’s simply the artifact in which it is encased in. The fact is that Stephen has it around his neck! Thanos wants it and he’s going to make Maw battle him for it. That’s definitely important.

-  Joe Russo recently said that we’ll see Doctor Strange and Spider-Man as a dynamic pairing. “They both have a proximity to each other. That doesn’t mean we’re getting a movie focusing on them (maybe, who knows?) but it does mean we will see the two superheroes together in IW. Their interaction will be interesting.

I could keep going but the point is that it’s safe to say we will be seeing more of him in the future.

Seeing Benedict and Tom together promoting the movie makes sense now, doesn’t it? It’s of great value and I’m all for it!

To all the haters who are crying over Doctor Strange being an essential superhero or Ben playing him,

There he was at D23 with Alan Horn, the Walt Disney Studios chairman. He was on stage at the Live Action panel for Marvel.

There’s Stephen in the first IW promo poster from SDCC. I love where they placed him because they also made room for the cloak of levitation. It also seems that he’s using the power of the Time Stone. My take is that he’s going to save them all. Two for you, Stephen! You go, Stephen Strange! Save the world, baby.

Here he is with Stan Lee!

Ben with his friends.  I love this dork.

:)))

Take a big whiff of this hot sauce.

List of anime series/movies with unique art styles.

For my friends on tumblr, in case you guys want something to watch, here’s a quick list of anime series/movies with unusual/unique art styles that you may or may not know.

Kaiba

With an artstyle reminiscent of the original Astro Boy, Kaiba has a very simplistic (yet stylized) and fluid style of animation and art. The story revolves around the titular character, who wakes up with a hole in his chest with no idea of who he is. I enjoyed this a lot for the art, music and characters, who all have realistic motivations and ideals, as well as the themes handled in it; such as what defines “being human” when bodies and memories are as disposable as plastic.
Genre: Sci-Fi, Psychological Drama

Redline

In terms of sheer action and excitement I got from watching a movie, I’ve got to say that Redline is one of the best ever in those departments. With a highly stylized comic-book-esque art style with a high influence from Western comics like Dick Tracy (with the emphasis on black shadows on solid colours and thick black outlines), this show is extremely fluidly animated, the movie is said to consist of 120 000 hand-drawn frames, taking seven years to complete. The movie follows the story of racer JP (aka “Sweet” JP, because of his refusal to use weaponry while racing) trying to win (and survive) the titular Redline, a race consisting of multiple racers from multiple different galaxies and planets.
Genre: Racing, Sci-Fi, Action

Mononoke

Every frame of this anime could be screencapped and slapped onto someone’s dashboard for their aesthetic. That is how distinct the art style and character design of this show is. The show uses a form of “plaid animation”, where something will be animated over a still color or object as it moves, creating most of the time a jarring effect that is usually the sign of a lazy animator, however in Mononoke, the show utilizes the art to create a sense of a surreal, dream-like environment, intentionally focusing on the jarring effect. The art and design of the environment is also extremely ornate and beautiful.
The show focuses on the story of the unknown Medicine Seller and his travels through Japan (in an unknown time period), killing spirits and creatures known as Mononoke. However, he cannot do so until he learns their Form, Truth and Reasoning/Regret, which leads to some very interesting lessons at the end of each story.
Genre: Mystery, Horror

Dead Leaves

Another comic-influenced movie, and just barely under an hour too; Dead Leaves is an extremely fun, hyper-action-packed movie with amazing character design (almost EVERY good character in this movie has a unique design, barring the civilains and generic bad guy cannon fodder), driven by slapstick, humor (usually of the sexual kind) and more pop culture references than you can digest within the time span they’re thrown at you. The story focuses on criminals Retro and Pandy; Retro having a TV instead of a head, and Pandy having a panda-like marking on her eye, who, shortly after waking up on the moon and causing havoc on a nearby planet, are imprisoned in a super-jail.
Genre: Action, Comedy, Sci-Fi

Kuuchuu Buranko / Welcome to Irabu’s Office

Combining rotoscoped 3D, 2D animation and live action elements, Kuuchuu Buranko is an extremely surreal look into the world of psychiatry. The art and designs were created by the lead artist of Mononoke, Kenji Nakamura. But whereas Mononoke had some subtlety to its art, this show is bright, colourful and neon as all hell. The show focuses on Dr. Ichiro Irabu and how he helps his patients with their problems, who are all connected in some way or the other.
Genre: Comedy, Psychological Drama

The Tatami Galaxy

With a bright visual style that also manages to be subtle at the same time, The Tatami Galaxy also utilizes not just its art as a device for story telling, but the form of the show itself to convey its messages. I can’t spoil too much about the show, but I can give you this: if you enjoy the first episode, please watch it to completion, as this show basically requires the viewer to watch the show in its entirety. The story focuses on an unnamed protagonist, commonly referred to as Watashi by the show’s fans, who tries to attain the “rose-tinted” college life style he has desired for his whole life, as well as all the challenges he faces on the way. With fast-paced dialogue, a lot of humor, interesting character and background designs, as well as the various forms of “characterization”, and also the themes tackled by this show, I’d say it’s one of my favorite shows of all time.
Genre: Slice of Life, Comedy, Drama, Psychological, Sci-Fi

Mind Game

Mind Game. Directed by Masaaki Yuasa (also the director behind The Tatami Galaxy, Kaiba and Ping-Pong). I don’t think words can do this movie justice, but I’ll try. Imagine a combination of 3D-morphing-into-2D, sketches, animated photo images of (presumably) the voice actor’s for talking, extremely smooth and fluid movement, plus an insane amount of exaggeration, all coupled with a huge range of bright and dark colours and you’ve got Mind Game’s animation style down somewhat. Go look up more GIFs, they’ll help you understand the range of styles this surreal (and extremely fun) movie goes through. The plot follows Nishi, a down-on-his-luck, 20-years-old manga writer, running into his childhood crush Myon. He discovers she’s getting married soon while they’re talking inside her father’s restaurant. After that (plus another key event), the craziness in the movie begins; Nishi having a new-found desire to live life.
Genre: Comedy, Surrealism,

Tekkonkinkreet

Tekkonkinkreet, although similar in appearance to some Masaaki Yuasa works, was not made by the man himself (although, it was made by the company, Studio 4°Cthat helped produce Mind Game). This movie has incredibly detailed backgrounds, similar to a Studio Ghibli film, with amazing usage of lighting, camera shots and motion blur as well as a wide variety of colours and shades. The story follows Black and White, two street orphans who call themselves “The Cats”, trying to keep control of their town from dangerous enemies. Although vastly different in personalities, they support each other emotionally, mentally and physically very well.
Genre: Action, Drama, Adventure

The Diary of Tortov Riddle

The Diary of Tortov Roddle, although very short (6 episodes all leading up to 14 minutes! Watch it here! It has three special episodes that are part of the DVD though), is an interesting adventure of a surreal world that seems almost like a moving/animated picture rather than a movie or series. It follows the journey of Tortov Roddle and his pig-steed throughout this world, with just his calm thoughts and experiences. There’s no dialogue in this series but it doesn’t really require any dialogue at all, the only dialogue being Tortov’s journal entries at the beginning and end of each episode. The music, lack of dialogue and artall contribute to a very interesting, mysterious atmosphere.
Genre: Fantasy, Surrealism, Adventure

The Tale of Princess Kaguya

Straight outta Compton Studio Ghibli, The Tale of Princess Kaguya is an adaption of one of the staples of traditional Japanese folklore, The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter. This film adapts the ancient story of the young princess who grew out of a bamboo shoot and breathes fresh new life into it while still staying 100% true to the source material. The art can only be described as absolutely gorgeous, using a pale colour palette in a constantly shifting style that recalls the ancient Japanese watercolour paintings that the original story was recorded on.

Genre:  Fantasy, Drama

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

Oh man this show.
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei follows the story of Nozomu Itoshiki, an overdramatic teacher so pessismistic about everything that he would try committing suicide over pretty much the smallest inconvenience (his name, when its Japanese characters are read horizontally, also translates into “Despair”) and his bizarre homeroom students’ antics. The series parodies almost everything there is to satrize in Japanese culture (the show even parodies itself from time to time with casual 4th wall-breaking from every show), as well as the general media and politics of the world, as well as having an insane amount of references to various things regardless of fame; from Gundam, Evangelion and Gurren Lagann, to Franz Kafka, Edward Gorey and South Park. The art’s very minimal (which itself gets parodied later on in the series), but it, uh, changes a lot, to put it simply.

Genre: Comedy, Parody

Ping-Pong

(gotta lot of requests to list this one)

Sports anime tends to always get a bad rep amongst anime fans for various reasons, whether it be that the viewer gets tired of seeing another Dempsey Roll, or the amount of reused frames in the series, they’re all understandable.
And so comes Ping-Pong to shatter those preconceptions of what a sports anime can be. Focusing rather on the characters, their emotions and development rather than the titular game that the anime’s based on (unlike most sports anime), this coming-of-age show following two boys as they (one actually) strive to become the best table tennis players in the world, is directed by none other than Masaaki Yuasa, who has directed a lot of the shows and movies on this list actually, with his trademark style of not having a trademark artstyle (other than wobbly simple lines and psychedelic colours).

Genre: Psychological, Drama, Coming-Of-Age, Sports

Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo

(im still in the process of watching Gankutusou and Ping-Pong (thanks school) hence why they weren’t in the original post)

Gankutsuou is what most people would call “art porn”, as it uses various still textures, colours and patterns within the character’s lineart, similar to Mononoke and Kuuchuu Buranko though to a much greater extent, while using 3D and 2D animation on the characters and backgrounds. The story is broadly based on the titular story of The Count of Monte Cristo, but with many differences, such as being set in the year 5053, plotlines and character endings being altered/removed, the pacing being changed from the original story, as well as the incorporation of many sci-fi themes. The general aesthetic of the show is that of 19th century France in a highly futuristic setting.

Genre: Drama, Sci-Fi, Thriller, Supernatural

Kaiji

Based off a popular gambling manga by Nobuyuki Fukumoto, Kaiji follows the story of the titular character, Kaiji Itou, an unemployed slacker who spends his days gambling (and always losing), stealing, drinking and being obsessed with money. He suddenly finds himself 3 million in debt, and is offered the chance to erase all of his debt, and maybe even earn some cash, in one night.

Via gambling.

With thick bold lines, exaggerated expressions and hugely caricaturized faces that woul make more sense in a comedy that all serve as a plus to the show, Kaiji is an intense psychological thriller that always leaves you on the edge of your seat, with some of the most insane and dramatic gambles in any piece of fiction.

Genre: Psychological, Thriller, Gambling

Panty and Stocking With Garterbelt

Two angels, kicked out of Heaven, have been tasked with cleaning up the filthy sin-riddled Daten City, and can only return once they’ve gotten enough Heaven coins!

Not like that matters to Panty and Stocking anyways, whose only cares in the world are what tastes good, much to the chagrin of local priest Garterbelt.

With a ton of American pop culture references, humor that would make South Park seem like a kid’s show, action that is so bizarre it can’t even be explained, and an animation style that’s more akin to a cartoon on a huge drug trip than anything else, Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt shows that sometimes too much of a good thing is still a good thing.

Genre: Comedy, Action, Parody, Not something to play around Grandma

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure

There really is no other gif that explains and summarizes Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure better than this one.

Based off the hugely popular manga by Araki Hirohiko, the show follows the story of the Joestar bloodline. Jojo is unique in that it doesn’t follow one group of characters or main character throughout the entire franchise, but rather a different cast in a different location throughout the world, ranging from 1930s New York, to 1980s Japan, to Egypt and much more.

If I’m being rather vague about describing this rather popular show, I apologize, but there really is no way to properly explain this bizarre series.

With proportions that look like it was ripped straight out of a bodybuilder’s magazine, poses that could probably break your spine if even just attempted, and fights that end up being some of the most hype as well as some of the most ridiculous you’ll have ever seen, as well as a bright, dramatic colour pallete, this is a show that truly lives up to its “Bizarre” title.

(also protip: start with the 2012 adaption first rather than the 90s OVA, and read the manga.)

Genre: Action, Comedy, Supernatural, Mystery

RAP MONSTER

- Why are you called “the destruction god”?
JIN: He might seem intelligent and cool, but he’s actually very slow and clumsy. He breaks all kind of stuffs in our dorm from electronic equipment to kitchen tools. That’s why we call him “destruction god”. (laughs)

- What’s your favorite place?
RAP MONSTER: The lake park nearby. I really like going for a walk at the park on nice days.

- What do you want to do in Japan?
RAP MONSTER: Shopping!! There are many clothing brands I like in Japan. If I go to Japan for work, I can’t eat out much, not to speak of shopping… But it’s okay. I’m not upset. I want to travel off-work to Japan and have fun as much as I want some day!

JIN

- What are you interested in these days?
JIN: Nintendo DS. I always play it whenever I can, in my room or in the car. I have to fly a lot because of the world tour, so It’s a perfect way to kill time.
JIMIN: I bought one right before going to Japan because of Jin-hyung too. Just a few more week and other members will be into this too for sure. Except Suga-hyung. (laughs)

- You’re called the trendsetter of the group, is it true?
JIMIN: Once Jin-hyung is into something, other members will somehow be into it too. It happens a lot. The only exception is Suga-hyung, he’s way too unwavering. (laughs)

SUGA

- What are you interested in recently?
SUGA:
There’s a convention about music equipment from all over the world, I watch the videos from that convention and check out the newest equipment. I’ve been liking up-to-date equipment since I was young. I adopt computers or electronic equipment faster than anyone else.

- Any episode that can tell you’re like a music maniac?
RAP MONSTER:
His room is flooded with equipment. Those music equipment emit so much heat that his room’s hot like hell!! No one would be able to stand it without air conditioner. We plan not to come near his room in the summer. (laughs)

J-HOPE

- Tell us J-hope’s secret!
V:
A secret would no longer be a secret if it’s disclosed. But if I have to tell one… He gave me a present not long ago, a watch I wanted to have, as a surprise. He even put in a handwritten letter ♡

- What is the main choreography point in ‘Blood, Sweat & Tears’?
J-HOPE:
The ‘blood, sweat and tears’ chorus. The dance move of stroking from the neck to the face like wiping tears!

- If you can live one day as another person, who do you want to be?
J-HOPE:
Jungkook. I want to be young. What do I want to do? Hmh, I think I would do nothing like a maknae would!

JIMIN

- Where does your nickname (Slow Jimin) come from?
RAP MONSTER:
The reason we call him that… It’s because Jimin’s always late. (laughs) He wakes up late and does many thing slowly. He tends to be slow.

- Anything you were slow on recently?
JIMIN:
May 8th is Parents’ Day in Korea. It’s like ‘Father’s Day’ and ‘Mother’s Day’ in Japan, a day for children to express their gratitude to parents. I wanted to give them something on that day, but I kept thinking of what to give to make them happy… Two months passed and now I still can’t decide what to give. I’m late with presents too. (laughs)

V

- If you can live one day as another person, who do you want to be?
V: No one. I know the members too well so there’s probably nothing I want to know from becoming them. And I know every secret of Jimin and Jungkook. Right? Right?
JUNGKOOK: …….Right. (laughs)

- What is V’s secret?
JUNGKOOK: He sometimes pretends to be cool. He’s always playful but on some certain days he can be cool depending on his mood. I was saying “Those who are good at English are so cool” and he suddenly spoke in English. He started to appeal himself “I’m cool right?”. It’s cute.
V: That’s right. I’m cute ♡

JUNGKOOK

- If you can live one day as another person, who do you want to be?
JUNGKOOK: Rap Monster-hyung. He’s really smart. I want to be smart too!

- No one can beat me on this!
JUNGKOOK:
Listening to music. I listen to music all the time. Also I don’t lose when it comes to passion. My heart is flaming more than anyone else!! I’m warm-hearted ♡

- Tell us Jungkook’s secret!
J-HOPE:
Secret.. Does he have any? We live together all the time so I don’t know what is a secret anymore. (laughs) Should I say it’s that Jungkook has a lot of greed? Not like doing as he pleases but in a good way. He’s greedy like “I want to challenge this to improve myself”!

P2

  • Allura: Shiro, if I understand correctly, you are a Child of the Leap?
  • Shiro: Excuse me?
  • Allura: Keith and Lance were telling me that, on Earth, every four years you have one extra day, and children born on this day are the "Child of the Leap", a person who takes way longer then others to age.
  • Shiro:
  • Allura: I must say that this is fascinating! It only makes sense that someone with such a honorable day of birth is the pilot of the Black Lion! Unfortunately, they said that this also means that you are way younger then I assumed. So please, tell me more about being a Child of the Leap.
  • Shiro: *looks at the camera like he is in The Office*
To all the girls waiting for the right guy

Girl, I know it’s hard to wait. I know it’s so hard to face rejection after rejection, the fear of never finding the right guy. But the right guy is worth waiting for. Stop settling for guys who don’t wholeheartedly follow Jesus. Stop dating guys who are “good” but do not follow Jesus, who do not bring you closer to Him.

If a guy doesn’t follow Jesus, he cannot love you right.

He can treat you great but if he has no desire to grow closer to Jesus, he won’t be good to you in the long run. If he doesn’t believe in Jesus, you should not be dating him at all. Yes, he might be okay with you being a believer but if he is not, he will not be able to encourage you or challenge your or call you out when you sin. He might be okay with your faith now but he will also be okay with your sin. You don’t want that. You want someone who challenges you to correct your ways. Someone who reads the Bible with you, grows closer to Jesus with you and prays with and for you.

If you find yourself saying “I know he’s not (perfect/patient/humble/faithful/growing closer to Jesus) right now but it will get better” – please, don’t believe yourself. You are worth more than that. You are worthy of a guy who honors you and respects you above all else. You are worthy of a guy who will challenge himself to become better so that he can love you right right now, not in the future.

Because you will do just the same for the right guy. You will see your flaws and you will want to grow, become better so that you will love him rightly. You will give him your heart, your time, your everything – just to be with him and to make him happy.

You were not created to be married, you were created to honor Jesus and to fellowship with Him. Girl, singleness is not a curse. You are not single because God doesn’t love your or because He is punishing you. So it might be that it will take weeks, months or years before the right guy comes along – because God wants to use you as you are right now for His glory. Don’t rush the process. See what God has for you in this season of singleness and make the most of serving Him, as you have freedom with your life right now. You can do amazing things, and you do not need a guy to do all that.

[ROA]

Hi there! You’re about to witness a whole lot of word dump up ahead so fasten your seat belt, hold on tight, enjoy the ride!

Note: This is an extremely long post

101 reasons why Jikook/Kookmin is my ultimate OTP
or 101 times Jikook made my heart flutter

1) When Jungkook tries to find reasonable excuses to hold Jimin’s hands (in which he usually succeeds). Example: A decent round of arm wrestling or a hand massage.

2) It’s nice to know Jungkook isn’t the only one who enjoys the occasion; Jimin does too, even comes up with the most absurd idea (like who arm wrestles while sitting 5ft apart? and knowing he will definitely lose?) urm 128 rounds, 128 losses…

3) The way Jimin ruffles Jungkook’s hair, as if to say “You did well, baby. I’m proud of you” or the way Jungkook leans into Jimin’s touch when he pats his hair.

4) When Jimin asked for kisses from Jungkook, but he panicked and jokingly pushed Jimin away, all the while grinning like the shy boy he used to be.

5) The moment Jimin asked for a peck on the cheek on Jungkook’s birthday but Jungkook just smiled at the camera.

6) When Jungkook softly answered “no” when asked by Jimin if he likes his hyung that much. He just couldn’t resist teasing hyung because of how adorable he would look afterward.

(Time frame: 3:45-4:10)

7) The numerous times Jungkook would wait for Jimin even though he keeps on complaining about Jimin’s sloth-like pace.

8) When they strut around the airport or basically anywhere, side by side. Even when others are way ahead they would take their own sweet time.

Backstage…

After fansign…

and of course, at the airport….

9) Jungkook probably feels that it’s a part of his responsibility to make Jimin happy, so more often than not he would try to joke around and comfort the older, even if it means turning himself into a dork.

10) The glistening look in Jungkook’s eyes whenever Jimin talks in interviews.

11) When Jungkook made Jimin wear a tiara at a fansign and called him princess.

12) The uniformity of Jimin’s Twitter hashtags when Jungkook is there with him. It’s always #JIMIN and #꾹, making it easier for trash like me to find what I’m looking for haha.

13) Jimin and Jungkook being domestic and sharing soggy cereal in one bowl, using one spoon. Also the many times they share drinks and food.

14) “I will sleep here with Jimin” while pointing at the top bunk of the caravan in Bon Voyage , which, for me, strengthens the possibility of them sleeping together in the dorm. Reminds me of this too: “Everyone, Jungkookie cuddles me to sleep”.

15) When Jungkook suddenly stepped in front of Jimin while he’s talking to apply lip balm on his lips. The hyungs’ reactions were gold. They were stuck to one another like glue the whole broadcast and It hit me hard.

16) The times Jimin said “I Love You” to the camera and Jungkook stared at him like he’s the one being confessed. 👣

17) Jungkook knows his limit when he makes fun of Jimin, always being there for his hyung when insecurity gets the better part of him and I think that’s very, very beautiful. 👣

18) It’s OBLIGATORY for me to include We Don’t Talk Anymore cover by JM and JK here. No explanation needed because I’m sure you feel the same way as I do.

19) When Jungkook waited for Jimin to complete the formation during his part in The Rise of Bangtan in Nanjing, then turned to Jimin and serenaded him.

Serenades Jimin…

Turns to fans…

20) Jungkook knows Jimin, remembers every single thing Jimin does better than the man himself. He’s quick to answer things pertaining to Jimin.

21) When Jimin fell down at Taipei airport, Jungkook wasn’t there because he was filming Flower Crew. He joined them a little while later for their Epilogue On Stage. However, on their way back to Korea, Jungkook made sure to stick close to Jimin and walked by his side until they checked in. The fact that Jungkook was there with him made me cry a little./okay lie/

22) When Jimin took a blanket and a soft, fluffy pillow and tucked Jungkook in, and made sure he’s comfortable enough. Also the fact that Jungkook didn’t even bother waking up and sleeping in the room.

23) The amount of times Jungkook and Jimin hang around with each other, usually accompanied by another member.

  • A date
  • Big Bang Concert with Hoseok
  • At the waterpark with Jin

  • Eating Ramen at Hangang with Namjoon

24) “오~갖고 싶다” (Oh, I want you) That iconic moment in Now3 need I say more.

25) When Jimin hung around behind the camera while Jungkook was getting interviewed. 👣

26) When Jungkook squished behind Jimin when Jimin got his photo taken even though he could’ve gone away and NOT be in the camera.(Fancafe content)

27) When Jimin picked up a slice of cake and fed Jungkook in Bon voyage.

28) Jungkook’s way of carrying Jimin up bridal-style during Limbo game still has me feeling some kind of way, and I will not get tired of seeing it, not anytime soon i bet. (Every time it appears on my feed I’ll stare at it for hours)

29) How Jungkook’s ears perk up whenever Jimin says something. He’s extra attentive when it comes to Jimin. I don’t know if Jimin’s melodic voice gets him or what, cause if it is, boy I feel you. Example: Run! BTS in the US, when Jimin screamed “엄마ㅏㅏㅏㅏㅏ~~~~” (mommy~~) because he’s scared of the roller coaster and Jungkook was like “왜?” (why?)

30) When Jimin laughs an octave higher whenever Jungkook does something funny.

31) The way Jimin sat on Jungkook’s lap and how tight Jungkook pressed him against his chest in Summer Package Dubai.

32) Jungkook didn’t bother about the fans’ parents who sat across him because he needed to make his hyung look good and that was all that mattered.

33) After Jungkook hurt his back at Mama, Jimin took care of him at the airport, gently keeping his hand on Jungkook’s back the whole time they were walking.

34) The fact that Jungkook and Jimin monitor each others’ scenes when they’re filming, waiting around and constantly giving support.

35) When Jungkook and Jimin held hands on stage.

36) The No More Dream lift that has changed over the last couple of years.

37) That moment Jimin made siren sound when Hoseok told everyone that his sister liked Jungkook. I find it cute. (Sukira)

38) When Jimin and Jungkook being lovey-dovey at Manila Airport. 👣

39) Jungkook and Jimin still had their own photoshoot even though they’re both paired up with someone else. Also the iconic “Jeomsoon-ah, please be my baby’s mom” by Park Jimin.

40) Jungkook randomly barging in and interrupting Jimin’s vlive and just….the immense amount of flirting and eye-fucking throughout the whole video…caught me off guard. 👣

41) No matter how many times Jungkook messed around with him, Jimin didn’t have the heart to say stop. He couldn’t say no to Jungkook; that’s how soft he is for the maknae. But yea, speaking quite frankly, Jungkook didn’t even try. There are million other ways to piss someone off but what he did? nope, that’s not how you do it,boy haha. (Run BTS spy episode)

42) And it took 0.000001 sec for Jimin to say thank you to Jungkook. Although Jungkook kept telling him he’s handsome, something he rarely does, Jimin still couldn’t catch on;Still became flustered and shy afterward. It made me asdfjkl. (Undercover mission in Japan)

43) I love Jungkook’s determination. Jk’s inner monologue: I have to make Jimin hyung wear this goddamn headband *gets on his back and forces him to wear it*

44) When Jungkook pinched Jimin’s nipple the instant Jimin went in for a hug lol. (Fancafe content)

45) Jungkook and Jimin have no chills when they’re seated together at fansigning events. They pay attention to each other more than they do to their fans. (don’t get me wrong they still love their fans)

46) When Jimin pretended to be mad at Jungkook for not sitting beside him at a fansign, and how Jungkook played along, claiming his current seat was his original seat when it’s not lol.

47) When Jungkook snatched the snack from Hoseok’s hand for himself, but stopped and gave it to Jimin instead when Jimin asked to be fed.

48) The various times Jimin snakes his slightly smaller hands around Jungkook’s waist and shoulder, and sometimes when it seems that Jimin has difficulty standing after putting his hand on Jungkook’s arm, Jungkook would bend to better accommodate him.

look at him tiptoeing…

49) When Jimin back-hugged Jungkook (and kissed his shoulder from what i saw).

50) The cutest nicknames they gave for one another. 👣

Ooops…

Okay pause. I’m afraid I’ll have to break it down into two parts, as seeing how freaking long this has gotten ahaha. Part 2 will be posted really really soon~~~

AU where instead of going to Samwell, Jack starts a widely successful Publicly Broadcast show for children.

Jack learns that he is great with kids after coaching them for a little over two years. Moreover, kids are good with Jack. There is no pressure to be anything other than who he is.

It all starts with a local news program doing a fluff piece on Jack Zimmermann’s coaching ability. But then it turned into something completely different when Jack skated onto camera and started to introduce every single one of his kids and what was special about them. He was…really enchanting actually. He didn’t ever really talk down to them. Jack just treated them as a tiny friend.

They ARE his tiny friends, but that’s not the point.

The footage they got of “snack time” was really the best. Imagine a good 16 kids piled around this massive man teaching them the best way to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

It should have been obvious that a local channel would contact him. It still surprises Jack. They want him to host a show? Why? Everyone always teased him about how impersonable he was during interviews. Is it because he’s Jack Zimmermann’s son? Or Alicia’s?

Jack asks all of these questions to his mother and she just laughs. “You made a PB&J interesting to 16 kids just by being you”

Jack figures it wouldn’t hurt to give it a shot.

What pet names do you think Victor and Yuuri give each other?

My personal head-canon is that Victor calls Yuuri by nicknames often.

He mixes them up and never settles on just one. He calls Yuuri everything under the sun that’s sweet or romantic or just plain adorable. Traditional romantic nicknames like “sweetheart” or “my love” - or funny, cute ones like “my little katsudon.” It changes with the situation. If they’re cooking pancakes, then Yuuri is “my sweet little blinchik.” If they’re outside together on a pleasant day, then Yuuri’s nickname becomes “my sunshine.” Anything that makes Victor happy - that’s what he calls Yuuri.

“My Yuuri” is a particular favorite. My head-canon is that Yuuri likes it when Victor uses the word “my” before any nickname.

Yuuri, on the other hand, typically calls Victor by his first name.

I’ve always found it interesting that in the anime, he never calls him “Coach Victor” or “sensei” like we see him call Celestino and Minako. Yuuri has always made it clear to Victor that he wants him to always be himself. I also don’t think Yuuri would ever use the word “my” in front of a nickname, even though he likes it when Victor does it to him.

I think when Yuuri just calls him “Victor,” it’s his way of saying, “I don’t expect you to be anything other than who you are.” And to someone like Victor, who has always felt pressure to change himself for a difficult-to-please audience, having Yuuri love him for just being “Victor” is pretty damn amazing.

But I also think Victor really likes nicknames, so Yuuri does use them from time to time. Always in private. His nicknames for Victor are meant for his ears only. Yuuri will sometimes call him “Vitya” or “Vicchan,” but under the right circumstances, he’ll call Victor something really special.

Maybe something quiet whispered in his ear when they hug each other after a long day. Like “beautiful.”

And Victor just freaking melts.

episode two :: Yuri realizes, suddenly and terribly, he might be a little bit in love.

Victor doesn’t even try to go to sleep.  He just lays in bed with his laptop, watching the thirty-seven takes of Yuuri trying to get “hi, I’m Yuuri Katsuki, and I’m the Bachelor” out of his mouth.

Don’t they know who I am?” Yuuri slurs on screen.

Yuuri, you have to put the champagne bottle down, you have to pretend to be sober,” Phichit says off camera, all authority gone from his voice.  He’s trying not to laugh.

Phichit,” Yuuri says, and he takes a big swig from the bottle, bubbles pouring down both sides of his lips. “You can’t tell me what to do.  I’m Yuuri Katsuki, and I’m the motherfucking Bachelor.

Dear “grunge” blogs

To make things clear at first, everyone is free to post or reblog anything they want, but there are also some limits to everything you do. Especially when you are taking advantage of somebody’s image to glamorize things that shouldn’t  be glamorized.

To all the

Or the

And the

What you’re doing is not grunge.

First of all, Grunge is a musical genre, a rock music subgenre. It was a musical revolution that happened in the early 90s, led by pure and amazing artists.

Grunge was never about: Tattoos, peircings, polaroids, pastel, fishnet stockings, blood, nudity, self harm, wanting to die, hating your parents, toilets, flowers, abandoned houses, walls with depressing quotes written on them, cigarettes, aliens and all those strange things you like to post

Second of all, stop using Nirvana/Kurt Cobain as your aesthetic. Just stop it. Why are you glamorizing his depression and his drug use? What do you find amusing in the story of a man who suffered a lot and ended up dying of mental illness? Let him rest in peace! Kurt Cobain had some fucking dignity and he didn’t die to have his pictures posted in some blog just because it looks “cool” and “aesthetic” for some edgy teens, or find Nirvana t-shirts, or even worse, his suicide note, worn by some hipster douchebags. He was a great artist and a wonderful human being and that’s how we should remember him.

By using Nirvana/Kurt Cobain as your aesthetics, you are:

  • Making Nirvana seem extremely overrated
  • Making Nirvana seem as the only grunge band to ever exist but in reality there are tons of other bands who definately should be recognized like Alice In Chains, Soudgarden, Mother Love Bone, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, Melvins, Tad and a whole bunch of 90s grunge bands who were great.
  • Making people believe that teens like to “listen” to Nirvana just because it seems cool and not because they are actually a great band.
  • Making people believe that Nirvana songs, or grunge songs in general are only about depression and teen angst
  • Making Kurt Cobain seem as a bad influence since you are only representing him as a self -loathing junkie who loves to whine about his depressing life and just a talentless fashion icon
  • Using Kurt’s image to glamorize drugs and suicide which is disgusting and very disrespectful

So please, stop associating your world with ours. I don’t really care about what you post. If posting the picture of a toilet makes you feel happy and edgy enough, then post the picture of the fucking toilet. But don’t post it under the “grunge” tag, unless you consider the fact that your “grunge icon” Kurt used it, which actually makes sense. Just leave us the REAL grunge fans alone, don’t associate your shit with us, because it’s simply not grunge.

And for anyone who’s reading this, please remember Kurt Cobain for what he truly was. Sure, his addiction and mental illness are a part of him and his image that we can’t deny, but he was also a talented artist, a big music icon and a source of inspiration for several artists. His music may not mean anything for some people, but it saved the lives of other people and changed it for the best. I, as a Nirvana fan, can proudly say that discovering his music was the best thing that happened to me in many ways.  And besides, he was a major supporter for women rights and his quotes are still relevant to this day.

Don’t remember him as the person that “grunge” blogs are presenting, because that person was never the real Kurt Cobain.

prompt: andreil + emergency room visit

(this is a sequel to THIS ‘I think there’s someone in the house’ fic!)

The paramedics hammer on the door, and Neil looks up, teary-eyed, from where his face is pressed into Andrew’s damp hair. He’s feeling for his breath with the back of his hand, waiting moment to moment for Andrew to die in his arms, silently like he does everything else. Urgency keeps stunning Neil all over again, hysterical defibrillators. The EMT’s are calling out through the wall, muffled but calm.

It feels unthinkably wrong, their absolute evenness and ease outside his door when his life is an exposed neck and Andrew’s death is the whirring blade of a saw.

He realizes that he has to get up to let them in, and it seems as impossible as it would be for Andrew to spring up and answer the door himself. He feverishly wants them to crumple the door to splinters and be inside already.

It’s a herculean effort to ease Andrew to the ground, like he’s gritting his teeth and cutting off his own leg. He touches Andrew’s clammy face briefly but he can’t bring himself to try and slap him awake. He props Andrew’s bare feet up on the rim of the bath so the blood will flood towards his head, at least.

He feels untethered to his body when he stands, a helium balloon with its usual weight passed out on the bathroom floor. He falls into the wall immediately, adrenaline neck and neck with exhaustion.

He finds his way to the front door without his mind’s help. His head is in the bathroom with Andrew, and he knows that no matter what happens it’ll be there for a long, long time.

The next time he blinks, a man in uniform is holding his biceps and peering down at him seriously.

“—sir? Sir, are you hurt at all?”

“No,” Neil says, lips numb. “Bathroom. He’s in the bathroom. He’s bleeding to death.”

He turns, easily slipping the paramedic’s grip. There’s a procession of them, hefting a gurney and a couple of kits, and they’ve brought all the cold from outside in on their heels. They’re such a foreign object in their warm, messy apartment — uniformed, official, and precise.

It’s deadly, walking in and seeing Andrew spread out in his boxers, blood oozing through his t-shirt from his loose stitches, pale enough to match the porcelain. Neil’s seen enough corpses to recognize what they look like.

He falls heavily to his knees and puts his head directly to his chest, listening, tears slipping hotly over the bridge of his nose.

“Please,” he slurs. His heartbeat is a tentative thud, a knock from an unexpected guest. “Help him. Now, help him now.”

“We’re going to try our best Sir, but you’ve got to get out of the way,” someone says gently.

He topples backwards onto his hands. It’s a cramped space, and he knows it would be easier if he waited outside, but he also knows he’d rather die than leave them alone with him.

The first guy kneels down and takes Andrew’s pulse, and Neil shakes his head. They’re too slow, time is feeding directly into a wide open drain.

“He needs an IV. He’s two litres down, at least. You’ve got to—“ A petite woman puts a hand on his shoulder and he shrugs her off violently. “No! You have to listen to me.”

“We know what we’re doing,” she says. “Are you an MD?” She eyes him doubtfully, gaze flitting from his scars to where her colleagues are taking vitals and cutting through Andrew’s clothes.

“Yes,” Neil says wildly. “And he needs an IV. Possibly two. Large-bore, normal saline. He’s not getting any oxygen, and he’s been like this for as long as it took you to gather your meager response team.”

She purses her lips, but she’s a professional. He can see her repressing her anger and it infuriates him. He feels like he’s crashing, over and over again, and he’s watching someone daintily pump the breaks.

“He’s right,” one of the EMT’s says distractedly. “We’re gonna need to get some fluids started, he’s in hypovolemic shock, sats below 50.”

“You want to tell me what happened?” one of the men asks.

“No,” Neil says as evenly as he can manage, reaching out to graze Andrew’s cold fingers.

“Did you do these stitches?” the woman asks, pulling at Andrew’s skin to get a better look at them. He suddenly sees how they must look to them, sloppy and angry red. Neil bends her arm away without thinking about it.

“Don’t touch him,” he snaps. He could break her arm and it would make him feel better. He drops her, disoriented by his own violence.

“There’s no need to be antagonistic,” the first man says. “We don’t want to have to remove you.”

“You really don’t,” Neil agrees. “You won’t succeed.”

RTX2017 2nd RWBY panel summary

I won’t repeat everything from my summary for the first panel, but here is everything that’s new. Better questions this time. Also I missed the first 10 minutes of it, but I might rewatch those in case anything important happened. They went through the new merch very fast this time to have more time for questions.

  • Someone asked about the cinematography change in volume 4 were they went for a more Hollywood-like style of cutting more, doing more close ups with the fight scenes. The answer was too complicated to write it down quickly, but basically they are trying to use different styles together.
  • Someone actually asked about Yang’s arm having a vibrator function. The answers were pretty funny, from yes (for phone calls of course), Barbara saying the hand has a spinning function (for cooking and badass attacks of course), Arryn saying yes (to replace an electrical tooth brush of course).
  • Interesting questions about the limitations of semblances. Basically the limitations are not to make the characters overpowered and imagination. Yang gets stronger the more hits she takes, but when she gets unconscious it was all for nothing, also mention of Qrow’s semblance that goes beyond the battlefield and affects him everywhere. Nora has her semblance because Monty wanted her to jump really high and swing her hammer with much force. Also volume 5 will have more talk about semblances because they know they didn’t establish the rules really well and will fix that.
  • Someone asked about each’s favourite character. Mile’s favourite character is Qrow and during volume 1 – 3 he often felt like smacking Jaune. Kerry’s favourite is mostly whoever was in the last scene he wrote. Arryn’s favourite is Neptune, her least favourite is Mercury. She also hates Adam but loves him as a character. Kara’s least favourite character is Daddy Schnee, her favourites are the other girls on her team. Barbara likes Qrow and Nora, she doesn’t like Mercury, Adam, Neo or just everyone who gets in her way. Lindsay loves Tai, her least favourite is Weiss (more said as a joke). Gray’s favourite character changes with his mood but he wants to punch Adam.
  • Animating the fall of Beacon was extraordinary difficult and a big process.
  • There exist some misprinted shirts that say Fall of Bacon.
  • There was a very cute moment when (despite Miles saying please questions only) a fan said how important RWBY and especially Blake are to her, especially after she came out and got abandoned by her family, she got lots of hugs.
  • Someone asked about cameos but I didn’t know the shows her was talking about, something about Dream Daddy Dating Simulator and Tai being in it (as a joke but who knows).
  • They also mentioned Qrow here with Lindsay saying he’s not a daddy, Kara(?) saying he is a daddy, and Vic saying in his Qrow voice “I am sure I’m someone’s daddy, I get around, kid, I get around.” To all the Daddy Qrow believers, you might either love or hate this line.
  • Someone asked about the hardest scenes for the voice actors. Lindsay and Barbara both picked the end of volume 3, because both their characters had to act so much out of their usual behaviour and attitude, Yang being completely defeated and a shell of a human being. Kara picked the scene in volume 4 where she talks to Jaques in her room, because it’s the first time you see her that vulnerable. Arryn picked the scene between Blake and Ghira, because being sad for her is easy, but with Daddydonna (her words) it was hard, because there was so much history involved and more depth to her sadness.
  • Someone asked about the deleted _NP_ vs S__N fight in volume 3 (by the way, they describe the scene in detail in the volume 3 director’s commentary) where Pyrrha and Nora were supposed to fight Neptune and Sun. The reason they picked Nora to fight with Pyrrha was that they knew how dark everything would get and wanted to put as many lighthearted and funny fights into this volume as possible. The idea was to see Nora and Pyrrha get along, to have a lot of energy and lightheartedness with the two of them.
  • We will probably get more details about gen:lock next week. Also dishwasher1910 made the teaser poster for gen:lock.

I love their friendship so much and I’m disappointed in myself for not drawing something for them yet.

Lance is down with the flu and feeling extremely homesick; Hunk is the World’s Best  Friend and does his best to take care of him :’)

EXO Reaction: Their S/O is being cuddly all the time.

Request: GAHH! I love your reactions so muchhhh, may I have a reaction for EXO? As in they react to you being cuddly all the time? Thank you have a good day, don’t stress, and be healthy ^^

A/N: Thank you so much cutie pie, sorry this took so long (revision and exams are a pain in the bum) but this has been an absolute pleasure to write. I hope this was worth the wait, so so so sorry you had to wait!!

Xiumin:

I can’t see Xiumin being a huge fan of PDA but when you two were alone he’d love how cuddly you were and the way you’d rest your head on his shoulder and stare at him with big doe eyes. Most of all, he’d love how you respected his boundaries in public too, knowing he’d only hold your hand at most.

Luhan:

Luhan would usually be cuddly himself so to have a S/O who not only reciprocates his cuddles but actively seeks them would be a good match for Lu. Overall his favourite would be when he could wrap you up in his arms with an oversized hoodie on and squidge your precious little cheeks.

Kris:

Kris would love your cuddly and affectionate nature as there wasn’t often a time where his hands weren’t on you in some way. Although he loved your cuddles, he would often be the one to initiate it into more and an intimate kiss wouldn’t be out of the ordinary.

Suho:

Suho would appreciate your cuddles more than anyone after a long and stressful day of looking after his kids. In your arms he felt more supported and it was like his stress melted off. Sometimes if he was really exhausted he’d even ask you for a massage, appreciating how your touch seemed to lift his worries.

Yixing would be a big fan of bedtime cuddles and would love nothing more than waking up to the birds singing, the sun peaking through the blinds and feeling you wrapped in his arms, your face totally at peace and your eyelashes fluttering gently. That was his all time favourite where there was no doubt he was in love with you.

Baekhyun:

As if you couldn’t have him wrapped around your little finger anymore, whenever you would shuffle over to him with that ‘I want cuddles’ look on your face I swear he would melt into the sweetest and most caring boyfriend, taking your hand and kissing your forehead before pulling you toward him gently.

Chen:

In the rare moments of peace in your manic relationship shared between his idol life and your constant pranks and jokes, Chen would adore cuddling you, it was a special time that reminded him that through all the jokes and teasing he was utterly besotted with you and that while you were his best friend, you were also the love of his life.

Chanyeol:

I think this precious tree would be the biggest cuddler, his height giving him the perfect cuddle advantage for anyone. It didn’t matter where or when, if you wanted cuddles he would always be more than happy to give them, his head resting on yours and his hands running up and down your arms soothingly.

Kyungsoo:

When you tried to initiate PDA he would never be one to shy away from it. He’d blush a ton, be a tad embarassed but low key he would be super pleased that you were so proud to be his S/O. That little bit of contact would mean a lot to him although he’d never say it, he’d also appreciate that you never went too far.

Tao:

I imagine Tao to usually be very passionate so when you just wanted to cuddle for him it would be a welcome change of pace. Overall he wasn’t too fussy, as long as he could show his affection in some way he was more than happy to, but he did love your cuddly nature for sure.

Kai:

Kai would be a massive fan of PDA, whether it be holding your hand, having his arm around your shoulder or a hand on your waist, he would have to have you close to him at all times and so the fact you appreciated it and loved the physical contact would make him feel all the better.

Sehun:

He’d love it, but love it 1000x more when it was in front of the members. It made him feel super manly to have such an affectionate S/O and made it all the more clear that you only had eyes for him, something he really appreciated surrounded by his hyungs.

Boy, 12, publicly rejects Simon Cowell's invitation to appear on BGT
The music mogul is yet to respond to the Tweet which has been shared hundreds of times after Tom 'Mouse' Smith was contacted by the show's team
By Keith Perry

A 12-year-old has been praised for publicly rejecting Simon Cowell ’s invitation to appear on Britain’s Got Talent .

Tom ‘Mouse’ Smith, a singer and guitar player, posted a picture of a polite handwritten letter to the music mogul on Twitter.

He wrote online: “Didn’t know where to sent this, but if someone could get it to Simon Cowell and BGT that would be cool. Thanks Tom x”

The picture of the letter said:

“Dear Simon [Cowell] and BGT,”

“Thanks for all the phone calls and invitation to your TV talent show.

“Sorry if my first answer wasn’t clear enough but I don’t want to be in this competition.

“I write and sing songs for other reasons I can’t even put into words.

“No need to phone me back as now everyone has seen this so I could never come on the show without looking daft.

“Yours sincerely, Tom ‘Mouse’ Smith.”

Simon Cowell is yet to respond to the Tweet which has been shared hundreds of times.

The schoolboy even drew praise from bands including The Charlatans and The Vaccines for his firm message.

He said that the Britain’s Got Talent team contacted him asking to speak with his parents when auditions were announced.

He told journalists: “I was really pleased to be asked but it’s just not for me. They have rang two times since then and even suggested someone from the record label would call us as well.”

Tom said that he’s also been approached to appear on The Voice Kids.

He says he has been playing the guitar since he was six and performing live since he was nine.

Britain’s Got Talent returns to screens in the spring, with auditions for the new series currently under way.

(this is probably gonna be a long oneshot and once there’s more it’ll be on ao3 but for now, let me know what you think?)

There are things that Kent can handle, and then there are things that Kent cannot, under any circumstances, in any universe, even begin to handle.

As it turns out, watching Jack Zimmermann, Alexei Mashkov, Randall Robinson, and Sebastian St. Martin attempt to build a deck is one of the things that he can’t handle, because holy fucking shit.

It’s about a million degrees out, and they’re all shirtless and covered in sweat and, yeah, it’s the off season, but they’re still professional fucking hockey players, for fucks sake, and Kent realizes then and there that accepting the invitation to spend the week at Jack and Bitty’s new cottage was definitely a mistake because, really.

Except for Mashkov, everybody brought their families, and they’re all friends, and they’re all teammates, and Kent is 99% sure that his invite was a pity one prompted by the Aces losing the Stanley Cup in game seven against the Stars, and he can’t help but feel like he doesn’t belong there at all, and he can’t help but think it’s because he doesn’t.
