also one of my favorite scenes

“Do you think we’d be friends if we weren’t like, stuck together in the same town?
Like we were stuck together in girlscouts?
Like… uh… is this just… what’s the word?”

“Proximity?”

“Yeah”

“I don’t know.
I honestly don’t.
My entire life feels like running after something that keeps moving away into the distance,
while I stay in the same place.

And I guess proximity counts for a lot right now.”

get to know me (2/10} favorite animated films ☰ the last unicorn (1982)

I am a little afraid to go home. I have been mortal, and some part of me is mortal yet. I am no longer like the others, for no unicorn was ever born who could regret, but I now I do. I regret.

I think one of my favorite things about the last scene in episode 9 was how disheveled Victor was.

He wasn’t even wearing any socks and his shirt is a mess.

Yuuri was also disheveled as well, but Victor has more of an impact. He is always really careful about his appearance and how other people see him, but after everything that happened to Makkachin and seeing how Yuuri just barely made the cut for the GPF, he didn’t care.

In all actuality, he probably had been waiting for Yuuri in the airport since the results were announced, seeing as the flight back was most likely scheduled for the night of the competition, so he could see Yuuri as soon as humanly possible.

And I think that is incredibly beautiful.

My favorite scene in the entirety of Voltron has to be in Season 1 Episode 2 when Keith and Lance are doing the electric maze trust exercise and Lance starts complaining about how Keith is the one guiding him and it sounds like Lance is just being an asshole but if you really pay attention to what Keith told him to do (”two steps forward, turn right, and take three steps in that direction”)-

-Keith was leading him into a dead end. Like if you needed proof that these two are both equally as petty here it is

“All that I wanted to hold you so CLOSEEEEE (8)”

Otayuri x Enchanted (Disney). I used the dialogue from one scene (the one when Giselle is angry for the first time) It took me longer than I expected, and I had to change and delete some parts of the scene because the comic was getting too long haha

Ok, so Yuri and Otabek are going to pair skate, but Otabek can feel that they are both tired, so he decides that is enough practice for one night.

OR…

Yuri can’t explain his feelings for his best friend… he thinks it’s anger, but NO! haha

I don’t know which one to do next, but I’m thinking of Pocahontas (my favorite movie <3)

Unbound: A Nessian Fic (3/10)

“The Cauldron rendered Nesta and left a piece of itself in her, ruthless and destructive. This is the story of how Nesta put herself together again.”

Chapter One

Rating: T (Eventual E)

Chapter Summary: While the warmth and plush comforts of the House of Wind offer a temporary respite, neither Nesta or Elain can deny that they’ll have to dive into the fray sooner than they’d like.  When Cassian suggests that he take Nesta out on a separate training mission, she can feel the wall between them crumbling despite her efforts to remain distant.

As always, thanks to @blackbeak, @highfaelucien, and @cuddles-and-chocolate-cake! :)

Nesta awoke calm, entirely swathed in a mound of blankets pulled up to her chin. The sheets were softer than the thickly woven blankets of the Illyrian camp and warm, golden sunlight filtered in through the translucent curtains.  She’d slept entirely dreamless for once. No gaping mouth of the cauldron, no sounds oil-slick water sloshing in the back of her mind. And thankfully no hands tearing at her dress. Those sorts of dreams had lessened in the past months with other threats to consider, but they still hadn’t gone entirely.  When was the last time she’d slept through the night?

She let out a slight groan as she rose, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, stretching the tension out of her shoulders.

And then the previous night came flooding back to her.

Cassian. They’d sat up long into the morning, discussing the logistics of the coming war. She’d brought up ideas with a fresh mind, things he would have quickly dismissed, maneuvers he worked into their plan to even out the bumps. He hadn’t seen her inexperience in such matters as a disappointment but rather an opportunity to expand their options.

Between the two of them they’d managed to come up with a reasonably solid plan assuming Rhys and Amren were successful in their efforts to gather allies (Nesta didn’t know much of Amren, but she gathered that whoever wasn’t convinced with Rhys’s diplomacy might just very well agree purely for the sake of not having Amren as an enemy).

And Cassian… he’d treated her as his equal, listening to her ideas, as fumbling as she thought they might be, as anyone who might bear the same rank as him.  He’d tease, of course, and poke fun at her when he could get a word in edgewise, explaining why some of her suggestions simply weren’t logistically possible, but never shutting her down without reason.

Nesta wasn’t entirely sure how to react.

All her life she’d spat on those who used their rank or status to look down on her family, fighting tooth and nail against anyone who assumed anything about the Archeron sisters. How was she supposed to react then, when she was on the other end of the spectrum? When she was the one who’d mistaken a man nearly broken by the world he’d been raised in, who’d had his wings, the very symbol of his freedom and strength, shredded almost to the point of no return.

He was still a prick, of course, with his gloating and the way he’d push his hair back over his ears so the ends would curl slightly at his jaw. Definitely still a prick.

Can i just talk about the lighting of this scene and how it give me so many feel? One of my favorite things about this scene is how Clarke and Lexa are lit by two different sources of light with different hues. Clarke is lit by a yellow hue being cast by candles in the room, while Lexa is being lit by a blue hue due to moon light cascading in from the window. What gives me feels is that Clarke’s face is being lit by fire that is from the Earth (oxygen is needed, also Lexa is a candle lover), while Lexa’s is being lit by the sky. The lighting in this scene is a refection on how the other person is being changed and guided by the other. Clarke by candle light, aka by Lexa, and Lexa by moonlight, aka by Clarke. However, they are still being lit from behind by their past sources of light; the sky and candle light. They are still being ‘touched’ by their previous ways of viewing the world, but how they see the world is now cast in a different light.

Additionally, yellow and blue are complementary colors. When complementary colors are combined they produce white light; something that contains all the wavelengths of light. Clarke and Lexa together form something that is vibrant and inclusive. idk if this made sense, but it makes me feel things. Clexa things. [gif]

My Favorite Stydia Scenes

Because @argyledpenguin asked and also they were making me emotional. This isn’t remotely all of them, just the ones that make me the most emotional. Enjoy!
