also i kind of love soulless sam

Ghost

A/N: This is my first of two respective entries to Mara’s ( @mysaintsasinner) Supernatural Song Challenge! I chose “Ghost” by Ella Henderson with the pairing of Soulless!Sam x OC. Next one out will be a Dean x OC… and that’ll be out……… before July 😬

Anyway! The song lyrics of the song I chose (Ghost by Ella Henderson) won’t DIRECTLY? Be? In the story?

The theme of the song will be sprinkled into a part of it, and it’ll be a recurring theme. Lol

As always, thanks to my wonderful Dean-to-my-Sam @imnoaingeal for reading through!!

Characters: Soulless!Sam x Reader, Dean x Lisa kinda, Ben and maybe Bobby in later installments (there’ll be more)

Warnings: Graphic blood and gore? I guess you can call it that? How about a general warning of “Soulless!Sam” and leave it at that for the “gore” related concerns. There’s also highly abusive qualities of their relationship, so eek. Medical shtuff, and general unpleasant-sounding brain injury, and mentions of suicide and scars (inflicted not self-inflicted).

Looks like a great story, huh guys. :|

Sam.

That was the only word that could go through my brain as I looked upon the man - the man who saved the world.
The man I had known for years, the one who had tossed himself into the pit of fucking Hell Itself.

For us.

A regular Jesus Christ.

He smiled.
His smile seemed off. Over-played, over-acted.
Shh.

“Olivia.”

“Sam,” I replied all too quickly, as if I were gasping for breath.
“Wh-what are you–”

“I’m here for you.”

My stomach seemed heavier. My shoulders tense.
My eyes uncomfortably watery.

Okay, I thought. Okay, I can be that. I can be his.

Hindsight is 20/20, as the saying goes.

“Look,” he said to me. His usual concern, again, seemed over-acted - scripted.
But I ate that shit up like puppy chow. “I want you… to come with me, Olive.”

I was already nodding like a dysfunctional buoy.

He was close. Closer than we’d ever physically gotten without a brisk embrace or a “here, lean on me; you’re hurt” pretense.

“Will you come with me?”

I said yes before the last syllable even left his throat.

Things went downhill from there.

I gave myself to him in ways I never imagined.
I gave myself to something dark.

Part 3 of Soulless!Sam- based off this request:

Request: Could you do a part two of the soulless Sam imagine, but where he gets his soul back and starts apologizing to the reader for every thing he done and said💕

Part One

Part Two

It had taken a deal with Death, Bobby almost dying, and you getting knocked out to bring Sam’s soul back, but you’d done it. The weight that lifted off your shoulders was amazing, and you found yourself being more relaxed than ever.

You and Dean were cuddling on the couch watching TV, when Sam walked in. You still couldn’t stop your body from becoming tense when he walked in the room, but you quickly relaxed.

“Hey.” Sam said, sitting on the old recliner.

“Hi, Sammy.” You greeted him, smiling.

“Um, can we talk?” He asked.

“Sure!” You agreed, sitting up.

“In private?” He asked, glancing at Dean.

“O-okay.” You said, and walked into the kitchen. You hated being suspicious of Sam, but ever since he was soulless, you couldn’t help it.

Sam followed you and you both sat at the kitchen table. He took a deep breath before starting. “I just wanted to say sorry. I know that I was a jerk…. And that I probably ruined our friendship. I know that I kissed you, and I am so sorry about that."

"Sam, you weren’t yourself.” You assured him. “Do I feel a little different around you now? I hate to admit it, but yes. But I know that we can rebuild our friendship.”

“You sure? I know that I kind of ruined a lot of things while I was soulless.”

“Oh my God, stop whining!” You joked. “You may have made me uncomfortable, but you’re also the reason Dean and I started dating. And I owe you a lot for that. I still love you, you’re practically my brother, so just be patient with me."

Sam sighed and nodded at you. "Thanks, Y/N. I’ve kind of been nervous about talking to you for a while.”

“Don’t be.” You said, grabbing his hand and giving it a reassuring squeeze.

You both stood up and Sam turned to you and held open his arms. Memories of Soulless Sam feeling you up when you hugged flashed before you, but you pushed them down. You were never going to get comfortable with Sam if you didn’t start trusting him.

You walked into him embrace, and his strong arms wrapped around you, staying around your shoulders. You sighed once you realized he wasn’t going to move his hands down. “I’ve missed you.” You said.

“Alright, cut the chick flick crap.” Dean said, walking into the room.

“Somebody jealous?” You asked, smirking at him.

“Only that I haven’t even gotten a hug from Sam since he got his soul back.” Dean replied.

You and Sam looked at each other and laughed. You moved away from Sam and he opened his arms for Dean. Dean smiled at him and gave him a big hug, he even picked him up slightly.

You saw Sam get a bit teary eyed, and you knew Dean was the same way. You couldn’t hep yourself, you ran into their hug. Dean instantly wrapped an arm around you, and Sam did too.

You all pulled away, but Dean kept an arm around you. “It’s good to have you back.” Dean said.

“It’s good to be back.” Sam agreed. “Now, I’m gonna go to bed. It’s been a pretty long day.”

“Night, Sammy!” You called.

“Night!” He called back, waving to you.

You leaned into Dean’s arms, a content sigh leaving your lips. “I’m happy to have him back.”

“Me too.” Dean agreed.

You looked up at him, and Dean looked more relaxed than you’d seen him in forever. You leaned up and pressed a kiss to his lips. “I love you.” You said.

“I love you too.” Dean replied, then picked you up, gave you another kiss, and carried you to his room without breaking your lips apart.

(I hope you like it!)
