also can she just not be dead

anonymous asked:

If Haikyuu characters have Quirks like in BNHA, what would they have? (And I guess volleyball would be a whole different sport...)

OOOH, let me see. This could be fun.

Daichi - Thighs that can crush all opponents. They’re super strong and he’s also very fast across ground. He causes  vibrations when he pounds across the ground. Special trick is pretending he’s dead, so he lures in the villain.

Hero name - Thighchi

Suga - he blinds enemies with his dazzling smile.

and then just as they’re weakening, he hits them with …

Hero name INDOMITABLE!

Asahi can grow his beard and hair to enormous lengths to ensnare the villains. He also uses it to cover his face because he gets embarrassed so easily. He also has a piercing cry that causing buildings to quake and everyone within a mile radius to stop what they’re doing.

Hero Name - THE NEGATIVE BEARD

Aaand finally - Saeko, who with her powerful wink, she immobilizes all who stand in her way.

and you’re powerless to resist

Hero name Lollipop

Thank you, anon. That was fun.

“sometimes it isn’t fighting that’s brave, it’s facing the death you know is coming”

Here are all the Dragon Age companions in a nutshell:

Origins:

Alistair: Your senior officer who is so scared of taking charge that he pretends you’re the senior officer. You can make him king.

Morrigan: Antisocial witch who totally turns into a spider just to fuck with Alistair. Will probably hold her nose and boink him later.

Leliana: Ex-nun that murders people and tells you bedtime stories.

Sten: Murders a whole family. One of your more reliable companions.

Shale: A fashion-conscious, bird-hating rock.

Wynne: Magical possessed Grandma. <3

Zevran: Failed to kill you. Tries to seduce you instead.

Oghren: Drinks so much that you forget he has other personality traits. You probably made him kill his wife.

Dog: Who’s a good boy?! You are! Yes, you are!

Loghain: Doesn’t know why he’s here and frankly kind of wishing you just killed him.

Awakening:

Anders: All he wanted was to leave the giant tower he was trapped in and not be murdered. Jury’s out on how well that worked out.

Oghren: Still drunk. He left his new wife so he could kill more things with you.

Nathaniel: He’s forced into the club because ‘some of your best friends have tried to kill you,’ and frankly he’s concerned.

Velanna: Fuck all you shem. She’s only here because she’s looking for her sister. Also her ears aren’t that big.

Justice: He doesn’t know what he’s doing but you seem like a good sort so he’ll follow you like a confused and rotting spirit puppy.

Sigrun: For a dead woman, she is the peppiest of the bunch. Will set Justice’s corpse spasms to music.

Dragon Age 2:

Carver: Fuck you. Oh wait… maybe less fuck you. Or maybe he’s the fucker all along.

Bethany: She loves you. Oh wait… no, she still loves you, even if you’re a prick.

Aveline: Please follow the law. Please stop dragging her into your illegal messes. She just wants to be a good guard captain.

Varric: He is writing all this shit down to tell embarrassing stories later.

Anders: VIVE LA RÉSISTANCE! Also, Fenris can go fuck himself.

Fenris: Murder ALL the mages. Also, Anders can go fuck himself.

Merrill: The naive fish out of water from every romantic comedy, except she makes blood pacts with demons.

Isabela: FLIRT FLIRT FLIRT runs away with life-saving relic FLIRT SOME MORE.

Sebastian: A priest who accidentally joined a gang.

Inquisition:

Cassandra: Best tank. Could probably have a faith spirit in her head and you couldn’t tell the difference.

Blackwall: Liar liar beard on fire.

Solas: Liar liar egg on fire. Plus racism.

Iron Bull: Is literally called ‘liar’ and doesn’t lie to you for the whole main game.

Varric: He has finally reached a point where even if he tells this story honestly, no one will ever believe him.

Vivienne: She will make you classy or so help her–

Dorian: Someone stop his country from embarrassing itself again please.

Sera: Down with the bourgeoisie, except not so far down that we can’t steal from them.

Cole: Is even worse that this than Justice. You love your weirdo spirit puppy anyway.

Leliana: Someone said something mean? Cut out their tongue.

Josephine: Please just talk to people. Her life would be so much easier if you did.

Cullen: Can’t escape this franchise no matter how far he runs.

@life_0r_death:

“I have a female friend who lives alone and she has BTS songs in her playlist, so I asked if she was their fan. “Oh, that’s for turning on when I go pick up the delivery,” she said. I asked her what she meant, and she told me they’re actually not songs but recorded conversations of the members called “skit”. You can see which skit it is in the photo below.

She said “Want to hear it?” and played the skit on on her computer’s speaker. It sounded like there were people inside when hearing from the doorway, and it became an even more plausible disguise with two pairs of dirty men’s sneakers on the shoe rack. I was heartbroken.

My friend started joining a hip hop club after she moved out to live on her own, and she learned a survival tip (?) when living alone from a senior member there, which was to turn on skits when picking up delivery. She said after looking through various skits, that group’s skits were the most natural-sounding.

My friend turned off the speaker and said, “I’m really thankful to them~ I think I’m gonna buy their album, to repay them~”. It’s just… It’s not like they did anything directly, but I’m kind of thankful to them too. They eased the anxiety of a girl living alone, even if it’s just for a while.

Sometimes when I listen to skits, I think “Why did they put these in?”. I just feel so bitter that someone is using them this way. Anyway, since this seems like a good method, I’m posting this to share with other people. The world is sad.“

but can you imagine. you’re on your deathbed, you’re fuckin dying and well, that’s just how things are, and then your door is SLICED IN HALF by a scythe and KICKED THE FUCK OPEN and this really intensely goth looking elf wearing a lot of skull shaped jewelry flies in and points at you and is like “You!!!! you’re dead, baby!! We’re here to reap your ass!!!” and she’s followed by this like, kinda nerdy looking dude in jeans who is also carrying a scythe and he’s like “uh, hi. um. yeah, you’re dead.”

and then they’re followed by ANOTHER dude who is like, even more goth looking than the woman and he’s also carrying a scythe and he’s complaining that “you’re dead, baby” doesn’t sound sufficiently ominous or goth and then the three of them start arguing and you’re just lying in bed. dying. is this a fever dream? is this the last hallucinogenic spurts of your neurons giving out?

anyway what i’m saying is that lup and barry and kravitz are a great team.

anonymous asked:

I know we're all dead but can we talk about how cute it was that he said thank you when she took her top off? And how intimate that moment was when he just took a second to look at her, to breathe her in, to confirm that this was really happening? Cause of death: Olicity.

Oliver was the perfect gentleman throughout that entire scene.

Starting from the beginning, he was… everything. He was a man who was clearly still in love with this woman, but he’d also heard her last season when she said she was, for all intents and purposes, done. He was a man who was willing to get every tiny scrap of her natural sunlight, no matter what the cost for himself. Y’all are lying to yourselves if Felicity wasn’t doing exactly what Curtis suggested when the idea of her trying the salmon ladder came about. She’s all cute and flirty and doing something that shows a lot of skin, and yet, the entire time, Oliver was just so sweet. He didn’t push it, he didn’t take what are pretty obvious signs, he didn’t do anything without her explicit permission and direction. They went through two bottles of wine, my friends, they were quite a few sheets to the wind and still, he was the perfect gentleman. Even when she asked him to help her down, when he grabbed her waist, when he held her close, letting her down gently, cradling her like she’s the most important thing in his entire world (she is)…

(src)

He was just…

(src)

… so Oliver and so respectful and I loved it so much.

But then it gets better.

Felicity finally makes the first move, she kisses him and remember the way he responded?

(src)

(wow they kiss really well like damn well done a+)

He gives it his all because that’s all he wants to give her. He messed up so much in the past, and while the source of those issues are deeply buried and require a fucking bulldozer to unearth, it doesn’t change that it effectively ruined the best thing in his life. But now, now he has her back and it’s everything. Yes, the wine has stripped their inhibitions, but it just scratched off the surface, revealing what they’ve always, always wanted.

(src)

(src)

(This was cute af, anon, I so agree. He’s so totally getting swept up in the sensation of having her in his arms again, of kissing her, tasting her, feeling her, and it’s intoxicating. It takes over everything, leaving no room for anything but continuing to feel those wonderful things. We see that in the way he suddenly spins her, with so much intent, so much purpose - I know I’m not the only one who thought that was going somewhere else - but then he’s so painfully gentle with her. He could absolutely rip her sweater to pieces if he wanted to and he knew she probably wouldn’t complain one bit until later, but he didn’t, because remember, this is the Oliver who has been in love with this woman forever and he lost her and he’s been respecting her wishes in not pursuing a relationship and suddenly she’s here and she’s with him, but that doesn’t change where they are mentally, where he’s at mentally. (Wow, tangent.) It’s marked with that soft, adorable smile of his - that happy smile of his - and the way he says, “Thank you.” It’s really as if he’s thanking her for giving them this chance again.)

And then…

(src)

The passion is back, brimming over, all-consuming, burning them from the insides out, taking over everything, pulling them together like the magnets that they are…

But that’s not all it’s about, not quite. It’s about that, oh yes, but it’s also about connecting again, not just physically but emotionally and mentally, with their very souls. This isn’t just physical for Oliver, nor is it for Felicity, which is what he needs to double check, he needs to see, to make sure that…

Well, that this is happening, that it’s what he thinks it is, that she’s on the same page, that she wants this, that she wants it as badly as he does, that she’s doing it for the same reasons, that…

(src)

(the way he whispers her name, a gasp, a breathless plea… a prayer…)

He has to make sure. He has to. One, because it’s Oliver and when it comes to Felicity, there’s never been a halfway.

Which is so very interesting considering what happened tonight - thinking about it from Oliver’s perspective, he honestly thought he was giving Felicity everything he could. He didn’t know at the time that he was only giving half of himself, only giving her the pieces he felt worthy of her, not realizing that he was hiding things from her, all under the guise of trying to protect her, in his own warped way. He has been broken, in his mind, for so long, but it’s only when he’s whole within himself that he can finally be with her, which we’re finally seeing, thank goodness.

He’s all in or he’s all out and he needs to know that Felicity is there with him.

(src)

But not a simple “Are you sure this is what you want,” no, it’s more than that.

(src)

It’s about them, and their love for each other.

(src)

And there it is. She’s right there with him, her love for him shining through, bathing him in its purity, a cleansing feeling that shines light in the darkest corners of his being (even if he doesn’t recognize it until much much much later).

Cause of death: Olicity

Indeed, anon. Indeed.

mum

Sirius Black had always traveled to King’s Cross with incredible joy in his heart knowing that he wouldn’t have to return to Grimmauld Place, 12 for several months and that he wouldn’t see his family for a very long time. This was the first time Sirius had trouble getting out of his bed on 1st of September. He didn’t know how to explain it but it felt like a hippogriff was sitting on his chest making it hard to breathe.

“Padfoot,” sighed James. “If you make me miss the train, I will steal all of Remus’ chocolate and blame it on you and he will believe me.”

“Idunwanowunintmmawf,” said Sirius into his pillow.

“I’m sorry, what?”

“I don’t want to run into my mother,” he replied sitting up realising he didn’t have the strength to deal with James Potter at the moment.

“We will move quickly and we won’t see even a string of her hair,” smiled James. “That’s a promise, Pads.”

“But she will see us Prongs,” mumbled Sirius looking like a lost puppy. “That bitch has her ways, she always finds me and Regulus in the crowd.”

“Don’t be fucking ridiculous and get out of the bed” ordered James in return as he attempted carrying his trunk down the stairs for a second. “MUUUUUM can I locomotor my trunk dooooownn?”

“NO,” said Euphemia sternly from downstairs. “You’ll carry it down James and so will Sirius.”

“But muuuum-”

“James, dear, you are sixteen years old,” explained his mum like she was talking to a small child to make sure he doesn’t set the house on fire. “Stop acting like you are four or that girl you like so much won’t even look your way let alone like you. Independent women like grown men, not needy children.”

Euphemia Potter had a way with her son, she knew where all of his buttons were and how to push them just right because James Potter and his trunk were downstairs the Muggle way in a minute after the pep talk she had given.

The breakfast was calmer than usual with Fleamont being at work and Sirius acting like he is half dead. When they were completely ready to floo themselves to the train station, Euphemia put her hand softly on Sirius’ shoulder, a kind of touch he wasn’t still used to after almost two months.

“Sirius,” began Euphemia. “What’s wrong? You know you can talk to me.”

“I just really don’t want to run into my mother,” confessed Sirius. “I’m scared of what she might do to you.”

James shook his head in disbelief, he found it hard to understand the irrational fear Sirius had. He knew Walburga was one disturbed woman but he also knew his mother shouldn’t be underestimated.

“Walburga should be scared of running into me,” said Euphemia half jokingly but James knew what would happen if they were to run into that woman. “I can handle him dear.”

Sirius nodded as convincingly as he could before he grabbed floo powder from the porcelain bowl standing next to the marble fireplace.

“King’s Cross,” he said clearly and he was gone with the green flames in seconds.

It didn’t take long for James and his mum to come with the flames. They hurried towards the Platform 9 ¾ with their trolleys and James ran face first into the wall just to disappear into thin air and then Euphemia and Sirius ran to the other side of the wall as well.

Hogwarts Express was standing with all it’s crimson glory waiting for the students to get in to take them to Hogwarts. The three of them walked hastily to where the Marauders’ compartment was. They stood in front of the door to say their goodbyes.

“Be good,” said Euphemia. “I don’t want any letters from Minerva this year James.”

“Mum, you know I can’t promise anything.”

“Where did I go wrong while raising you?” she asked curiously. “Don’t answer that.”

“Sirius, write to me whenever you feel like it,” she reminded. “I’ll be expecting you home for Christmas, alright?”

“Yes, mum,” said Sirius and choked on his words almost instantly as a warm smile formed on Euphemia’s lips and James’ eyes lit up like they were fairy lights.

“Tsk tsk, Sirius,” came Walburga’s cold voice behind them. “We shouldn’t call blood traitors who didn’t give birth to us ‘mum’.”

It seemed like Sirius had shrunk in size as Euphemia stepped in front of him protectively.

“Tsk tsk Walburga,” she repeated. “We shouldn’t eavesdrop on conversations that aren’t ours and give opinions that no one asked for. He can call me ‘mum’ whenever he wants to, seeing that his actual mother is not available at the moment.”

Walburga made an attempt to grab Sirius by the wrist but Euphemia was agile for her age and she was holding onto Sirius’ wrist like he would die if she let go.

“You won’t touch my son and I’m not talking about James.”

“I suggest you stay out of this Euphemia, this is none of your business.”

“Oh, you made it my business when this boy showed up in my living room, barely breathing,” shot back Euphemia with all the rage that had been building up in her. Sirius was hiding behind her, careful not to catch Walburga’s piercing eyes.

“You are exaggerating,” she replied. “Nothing wrong with a little tough love.”

“I know an Unforgivable Curse when I see one Walburga,” she hissed just loud enough for people around them to hear, Walburga was turning purple with anger. “If I could, I would take Regulus from you, too, before he ends up dead from your tough love.”

“How dare you speak to me like that?”

“The same way you dare torture your children Walburga,” she said without blinking. “Now let go of my wrist and stay away from my sons.”

Sirius was trembling behind Euphemia who was standing like she was the queen of the universe, she didn’t move until Walburga Black turned around and left.

“I told you I could handle her,” she said with a reassuring smile and caressed Sirius’ cheek softly. Sirius noticed the marks on Euphemia’s wrist then, burn marks like the long boney fingers of his mother. “As long as you got me, she can never come close to you and know that there’s nothing wrong with you calling me mum. Anyone would be proud to have you as a son and I am, too.”

“I- I can heal that if y-you want m-mum,” said Sirius, his voice shaking with the weight he was feeling on his shoulders. “I’ve- I’ve gotten pretty g-good with h-healing charms.”

“No Sirius, I can fix it. You forget you are not allowed to practice magic outside of Hogwarts,” she reminded and laughed a little. “It’s funny that a woman of her age is unable to control her magic like a toddler.”

Sirius’ eyes were still fixed on Euphemia’s thin wrist, his eyes filling up with the anger and sadness he was feeling. He lifted his eyes just a little to give a guilty look to James and saw his best friend smiling warmly down at him, he didn’t hide his pity but he didn’t have to. James always found it rather unlucky that Sirius ended up in such a messy family and never lied about how he felt about that situation, his pity was because he cared.

“Mum’s a big girl mate,” he said like he knew Sirius was about to spiral down and he needed someone to say something, anything. “She can take care of herself.”

“He is right, love,” nodded Euphemia. “Now, off you go, we don’t want you to miss the train because of something as unimportant and miserable as Walburga.”

“Just call her a bitch, mum.”

“James Fleamont Potter,” began Euphemia as she jokingly flicked her son’s arm. “You kiss me with that mouth and you will stop saying that word, even though some people deserve it, or so help me Merlin I’ll ground you until the end of time.”

“Okay, okay,” surrendered James. “I’ll just call her a goblin.”

“That’s my boy,” she replied and the spark came back to Sirius’ grey eyes. Euphemia hugged both of them and gave them loud kisses before she pushed them towards the train. “Don’t forget to write to me when you get there.”

“Sure, mum,” said Sirius with a grin before he was dragged away by an over eager James.

Azurrin Week Day 4: Color

I’ve always thought Conquest’s ending is the worst in regards to Azurrin, because they don’t necessarily know Azura is….dead. She just disappeared. And everyone else moving on when Corrin can’t.

I’ve also always associated Azura with forget-me-nots, both color scheme wise and because i’m annoyed how she’s always forgotten in the end slates.

Truth: Arrow 5x20 Review (Underneath)

Arrow isn’t a perfect television show. To be fair, I don’t know one that is, but I never needed Arrow to be perfect.  All I need from Arrow is a good story.  My frustrations with Oliver and Felicity’s break up, and the Baby Mama storyline, aren’t a secret. I found their break up to be wildly problematic on multiple levels. However, the one caveat I always held to was if Arrow can piece together some interesting character growth for Oliver and Felicity it would go a long way of easing my ruffled feathers. We’ve been dealing with the ramifications of Oliver’s lie about William since 4x08. That’s 35 episodes. We’ve waited a long time for Oliver and Felicity’s individual arcs to come to fruition.

The wait was worth it. At least for me.

Our perceptions of “good story” vary as widely as our perceptions of “perfect” but “Underneath” is a good story for me.  It’s almost perfect. 35 episodes. This road was long. It was hard but, in the end, I feel like I understand. It connects all the dots that need to be connected (and some I didn’t expect) while delivering some real character development that feels earned.

In the midst of the crazy world of arrows, masks, Mirakuru soldiers, 15 different canaries and Barry Allen resides the relationships between Oliver and Felicity

and Original Team Arrow.

These characters, and the love they have for one another, is the sanity in all the madness. It’s the real in the fiction. Oliver, Felicity and Diggle are the beating heart of Arrow for a reason. The love we have for these characters is the reason we watch and “Underneath” returns Arrow to center. It focuses on the love stories that made us fall in love with the show. In particularly, it brings Oliver and Felicity’s individual arcs to fruition and FINALLY merges their roads into one again.

Trust. Honesty. Forgiveness. Compassion. Humility. These aren’t always popular concepts in our society, but they are the building blocks to any relationship. You lose one, the whole house can come down on you. Love feels like it has its own inertia, like it chooses you and not the other way around. And maybe that’s true. Maybe we can’t choose who we love.  However, we can choose how we love.

If you are either Team Felicity or Team Oliver in the break-up- Baby-Mama-drama then there’s probably things about “Underneath” you didn’t like. As for me, I believe there are things both Oliver and Felicity need to learn from the breakup and “Underneath” addresses those things. But more than anything, I am ready for Arrow to rebuild what they broke. I am ready for Arrow to fix it. Are you?

Buckle up. This is, by far, my longest review. We’re going all the way back to the pilot and discuss about five different episodes. This took me about 22 hours to write. No need to comment on how long it is. I am well are.

Let’s dig in…

When to Fight ToG Characters

ACOTAR version

Aelin/Celaena - NEVER. DO NOT. Like actually, don’t even look her in the eye. Not unless you want to be burned alive, or beat or skewered by a sword. She will kill you. I’m serious. You will die.

Nehemia - I guess you could go at her. But beware that she has some mean psychological warfare up her sleeve, plus she knows a demon language and how to wield a stick. That hurts. A lot.

Lysandra - Ha Ha Ha. If you thought going after Nehemia was a good idea think again. This bitch can shape shift. Like actually SHAPE SHIFT. And her favorite form, is a snow leopard. A form she has disemboweled demons in.

Rowan - Bad idea. Abort mission. He will kill you. Maybe with his magic. Maybe with a sword. Maybe with his Fae swiftness. Or maybe even a table or chair. Either way, you will end up dead.

Chaol - He would probably be the easiest to fight. But keep in mind he was the captain of the guard. And survived a battle with the demon possessed king of Adarlan.

Dorian - He has raw magic. Need I say more?

Aedion - Cool, go ahead. Get pummeled to your death by General Aedion Ashryver of the Bane who has studied almost every way of fighting.

Manon - She may be beautiful, but she is deadly. Both with her blade, her teeth, her nails and her wyvern. Besides Aelin or her grandmother I don’t think anyone has lived to tell the tale.

Elide - Um I guess. But your an asshole to go after someone who has a limp. As well as an idiot because if she doesn’t kill you, you can bet your ass Manon, Aelin, Aedion and Lorcan will.

Arobynn - PLEASE DO. He deserves any form of pain. But he also may kill you in the process. (Another name for him is Arobynn Hamel, king of the Assassins)

Maeve - KILL THE BITCH. But she might kill you first. Beware.

Errowan - HE NEEDS TO BE DEAD. Just be prepared to die.

*BONUS*

Sam - WHY HURT THE CINIMONROLL !!! Also, if you fight him, be ready to fight me.

Steve Rogers and his confused mind

Steve: “Don’t question our orders, just follow them, Tony!” - Avengers

Also Steve: “I disagree with the 117 countries and so have decided to do whatever I want, whenever I want. Thanks.” - CW

Steve: “My teammates don’t tell me things” - AOU

Also Steve: “I knew about Bucky and your parents but decided to not say anything or tell you ever” -CW

Steve: “Wanda’s just a child!!” (yes, let’s pretend she’s not like 25)

Also Steve: “I’m from Brooklyn lol” he says as he tries to throw a truck at Peter, who he can see is a young child (a real CHILD this time)

STEVE: DOESN’T know that the first dead guy Tony saw in his PTSD hallucination that his lil daughter Wanda gave Tony was HIM, and she was the reason Ultron was created btw -_-

A Richonne Ranking: 40 Moments
[29] Thank You – Go Getters, 7x05

Even when they’re divided in the aftermath of the Lucille lineup horror, these two are still slayin’ the healthy relationship game. Though they’re struggling to unite their differing positions regarding The Negan Problem, as Rick sets off on a run, Michonne gives him the perfect incentive to come back in one piece.

There’s a maturity in this gesture; they put aside their differences to say goodbye properly – just in case. She doesn’t brush him off with a little peck on the cheek and a wave. She sympathizes with his position as much as she disagrees with it. She offers him the comfort of her affection and reassures him that they’re still them; she’s still with him. They’re okay. It’s their most tender kiss yet. His sweet little “Thank you” also suggests that it’s a closeness that has become uncommon in the aftermath of their trauma. It’s hope, then. Hope that they can rebuild. Exactly what rebellions are built on. Whether it’s his way or her way, they will be able to move forward.

  • Danai: She’s caught between her love for her partner, the love of her life, and who she is. She just knows in her gut and instinct and intellect that there’s always a way to fight — looking at all that we don’t have isn’t the way.

There are non stop metas in Jon's tag about why J*nsa is endgame. Could you please explain why Jonerys is actually endgame? Just something to counter this irritating stream of J*nsa

Hi anon! I don’t think that people writing meta for their ship is irritating. But I do think Jonerys is endgame. My answer is under the cut because it is absolutely enormous. This took a lot of time but I hope it offers you some reassurance.

I really love Kimberly in the scene when Billy dies. There are some people who are the type to immediately spring into action when disaster strikes. They don’t freeze, they act. You’ll see that in many high pressure situations. In Billy’s death scene, Kimberly was shown to be someone who acts in those situations.

When they pull Billy out of the water and set him down, she immediately pushes Jason aside and starts checking for a pulse, and she’s the one who has to tell everyone that he’s dead. They all react in their own ways. Trini turns away, trying to conceal her tears, Zack puts his hand over his mouth to suppress a sob, Jason just freezes and stares. They might have stood there all night if it weren’t for Kimberly telling them to help her pick him up. She was also the one who made that decision, to take him back to Zordon.

I really love scenes like that, when we can see how characters react differently to horrible situations. And Naomi Scott’s performance in that scene was perfect.

anonymous asked:

what about when the realize how brutal humans can be? like we don't always go for the physical attacks sometimes we attack them mentally with verbal attacks...

Hmm…that will most definitely happen.

Hope you enjoy this little blurb.

Also, some stronger language will be used here, just so ya’ know. And mention of alcohol abuse and suicide. If you are sensitive of that, don’t read it. It’s not directly said, but it is implied.

The tight bonds that held Xylion tentacles behind his back were really starting to hurt. Not only that, but the gloves he used to stop his mucus from affecting anything were still on, making it almost impossible for him to wriggle out. He was peeved, to say the least.

Captain Zellnor was next to him, his long face hung. His red eyes were closed, almost as if he was sleeping. Well, seeing that he had been injected with a sleep inducer, it made sense. Xylion, however, was wide awake, forced to sit in an uncomfortable silence next to his unconscious boss.

The rest of the crew was somewhere on the ship, tied up as well. At least, so the pirate guarding him said.

He was of the Roachon species. He had mandibles and antennae, and six arms. The species was known for it’s ability to survive many different physical attacks from anything. Not to mention they had extremely powerful weapons too. Their species loved to steal. Instead of making their own, they’d much rather steal ships and weapons, and then improve them. No one wanted to be captured by them. They were practically invincible.

Xylion looked up at the pirate, trying to see if there was anyway to escape. The Roachonian didn’t look particularly weak, so there was no way for him to overpower him. Of course, even if he could overpower him, he was still tied up, and the powerhouse Captain was passed out, unable to help.

He hung his head, sadness filling him. There was no way he’d be able to get free. He was screwed. Xylion sighed.

The only thing he could think of was his family, and how sad they’d be when they saw he was no longer amongst the living. How they’d cry. What if they even got depressed? Or was that merely a human thing? He had no idea.

Xylion felt his eyes begin to burn. He knew what this meant. He was going to start leaking mucus out of his eyes.

Wonderful.

Before he could begin to curse his retched fate, the sound of a radio turning on was heard. Xylion looked up at see the Roachonian holding one up. He put the radio up to his head. “What? Is sometin’ goin’ on?”

The sound of muffled screaming was heard. The Roachonian scowled before turning towards Xylion. “What are ye’ doin’? I know it sometin’!”

Xylion shook his head. “I swear, I am not doing anything, sir. I am tied up, and about to be covered in mucus because I’m so nervous.”

The Roachonian grimaced. “Gross.”

“No kidding.”

Suddenly, the door was thrown open. Human Fredrick stood there, a gun in his hand and blood pouring out of multiple wounds. The Roachonian pointed his gun at him and fired, hitting him in the shoulder. Human Fredrick backed up.

Xylion watched as Human Fredrick was shot in the chest, and went flying against the wall. He cried out, trying to break his bonds, but to no avail.

But before the pirate could shoot human Fredrick again, the sound of a voice came booming all around them. “If you dare shoot that gun once more, than you will die.”

The pirate stopped, his gun still pointed at Human Fredrick’s limp body. Xylion looked around, trying to pinpoint Human Mason, but he was not in the room.

“Who are ya’? Where are ya’?” The pirate cried out, backing up slightly.

“Look at you, a weak, insolent insect. How dare you come aboard this ship and think you and your gang of roaches can take us down?”

The pirate pointed his gun up to Xylion. “Shut up or I’ll shoot him!”

“If you shoot him, then we will be forced to shoot you dead.”

Xylion watched as hundred of little red dots seemed to appear all over the pirate’s body. His eyes widened and his grip on the gun loosened.

“You- you can’t stop us! We gone find ya’ and kill ya’!”

“As if a creature that doesn’t even belong in the asshole of hell can take our ship? You must have a superiority complex, you fuck-head.”

Whatever hell was, Xylion didn’t want to know. It sounded bad if a Roachonian couldn’t belong there.

The pirate’s gun began to slip out of it’s grip. “You can’t stop us! We are the future! We gone find ya’, kid.”

“Shit, man!” Human Isaac was no speaking. “This little cockroach thinks he can get us by just shooting us? I mean, Fred is down there with him!”

The pirate let out a sick laugh. “That fool? I took care of ‘I’m wit mah gun!”

Xylion heard the sound of a gun cocking. He looked behind the pirate to see Human Fredrick with his gun pointed at the pirate. Blood was oozing out of all his wounds. His chest, arms, torso, forehead, and his left leg was covered in the crimson liquid. Not to mention that his left eye was swollen shut. Xylion felt sick just looking at him. Human Fredrick let out a sick chuckle. “We don’t go down easy, bitch.”

The pirate backed up, his dark, beady eyes wider than plates. That’s when a sick grin spread over his face. “I’m invincible! Ya’ can’t kill whah can’t be killed!”

Human Fredrick looked up, baring his teeth. Xylion saw the red blood in his mouth too. How was he standing? “So maybe we can’t kill you, but we can break you.”

“And what is that suppose ta mean?”

Xylion was confused also, but then he heard Human Jenny speaking. “Do you have any family members?”

The pirate scowled. “What do tha-”

“Imagine if they saw you doing this? Would they approve of you killing innocent people just so you could get a spaceship you clearly don’t need?”

“I-”

“Imagine your mother, seeing you standing over Freddie, dead and covered in blood. You did this to him. You did. You killed him, and your mother will no longer see you as a son. She will see you as a murderer. A murderer who kills for fun just so he can have more things that he so obviously doesn’t need. How does that feel, huh? Or your father, even! The boy he helped grow and teach is a murderer! He kills people all because he wants a new spaceship. How would that affect him? Maybe the taste of wine would help drown it out.”

“But-”

“Or what about your spouse? The person you love more than anyone else? How would they feel seeing the person they made a promise with to stay with forever standing above the broken corpse of something that once was living, but now no longer breathes, no longer moves unless moved by an outside force? How could they still love you, knowing you pulled the trigger that ended that being’s life?”

“No-”

“Or, or, what about a child? A son, maybe. He aspires to be you, be like his father, but now- now, he hears his father kills people just so that he could have another vehicle to drive in. He killed an innocent human just because he wanted to take their ship. Or maybe you have a daughter. She hears about the blood oozing from the creature’s wounds, wounds you inflicted upon him! You sent this being to their death, their eternal rest, and now she can only imagine you with a sick twisted grin on your face as you hold the gun to their head and end their life!”

“Wait-”

“What about your siblings? You brother, ready to see you once more, only to hear that you ended up killing a man. A man who had a family, maybe even children. You ended his life without knowing a damn thing about him, and all because you wanted an upgrade? Or what about your sister? All she can see is her brother, someone she grew up with, now coated with blood. The phantom smell haunts her, and she feels like she can hear the cries of the dying man as you pulled the trigger. It haunts her for the rest of her days, even though they aren’t as long anymore.”

“You-”

“And your grandparents! Your grandmother quaking in fear whenever she hears you name! All she can remember is that her adorable grandson she took care of while your parents were out of town. She’d watch you run around, chasing the pet and cuddling it once you caught it. And your grandfather, who first taught you how to shoot a gun will regret it for the rest of his days. He will end up dying with the knowledge he helped teach you how to end someone’s life.”

The pirate suddenly fell to his knees, his dark eyes blank. The gun fell out of his hands. Human Fredrick fell to his knees as well, but he took this as the chance to grab the gun.

Xylion was in shock over what he just heard. How could Human Jenny say such things?

“I- I surrender. Just please, stop!” The pirate said, throwing his body on the floor. “I beg of you! Please! No more!”

Xylion was amazed. They got the pirate to surrender just by saying those things. Human Fredrick suddenly stood up, strapping the guns to his back. He walked towards Captain Zellnor and Xylion and began to cut the bonds.

“Human Fredrick-”

“I’ll be fine for now, Xylion.” Human Fredrick said, his voice raspy. “I still have some adrenaline running through me.”

Whatever adrenaline was, Xylion made sure to note how powerful it was and what it did to humans. He’d have to find more of it.

When Xylion went out to check everything else, he saw the other Roachonians on the ground, either crying or just unmoving. They were broken.

He felt a wave of fear settle within him. If the humans could do this with just speaking, what more could they do?

How easily could they break him if they needed to?

Well. That was a doozy.

I feel like I got carried away with what Jenny said…did I?

Oh well.

I hope you liked that! I had to think of a scenario to write. Originally I was going to do a fight that Xylion tried to break up, but I feel this turned out much better.

If you have anything else you want me to write, don’t hesitate to ask! If it is within my writing capability, then I will do it! If it isn’t, then I apologize.
