A gift for my favorite Emily for the fandom does puerto Rico charity auction: Zimbits!

Jack left the shower, toweling off his dripping hair. He couldn’t help smiling to himself as he heard a familiar southern chatter coming from the living room, Bitty talking to himself as he went through what he planned on saying for his next vlog. Apparently adding fruit to bread dough was the most dangerous thing a human being could do and he was trying to figure out how to get this across to his loyal viewers. Who knew?

Digging through his closet, Jack thought of how much more like home his apartment felt with Bittle in it. He was so small and yet he filled the entire place with music and laughter and wonderful scents of things that would get Jack chewed out if his trainers ever found out he was eating them. He would have to eat some kale before next practice to clear his conscience after this weekend.

Jack pulled on a pair of sweatpants then frowned, unable to find his new Falconers sweatshirt. He knew he’d left it out from the last time he wore it, he always liked wearing it when he was lounging around his apartment. Maybe Bitty saw it and put it away thinking he had left it out on accident?

“Bittle, have you-” He walked into the living room and stopped, Bitty on the couch with his knees to his chest, wearing Jacks sweatshirt with nearly his entire body tucked up into the torso. He looked up as Jack came in and tucked his head down into the neck sheepishly, only his eyes peeking out.

“Yes?” Even hidden Jack could see the pink spreading over his face and up to his ears at being caught.

Jack grinned wider and walked over to the couch, lifting Bitty and shifting him forward enough on the couch for Jack to get behind, letting Bitty snuggle against his chest like a tiny space heater.

“I’m so sorry about stealing it sweetheart but you were showering and I was cold and you can absolutely have it back… If you…” He trailed off as Jack nuzzled against his hair, enjoying the sent of flour and sugar that always seemed to cling to Bittle like a cologne.

“Keep it, it looks better on you.” Bittle turned pink at this but emerged a bit from his sweatshirt shell and relaxed, his feet still tucked under the sweatshirt hem. Jack stretched back with one arm, grabbing the throw blanket his mother bought for him, claiming it went with the couch, whatever that meant, and draped it over the both of them, pulling Bitty’s feet out to curl up under the blanket.

“You charmer, you really know how to treat a boy.” Bitty let his arms and legs fully stretch out from inside the sweatshirt, turning around to hug Jack and nuzzle his face against Jack’s neck, kindly ignoring the scratch of his playoff beard.

Jack had scored winning goals for the Samwell team, he had been unanimously voted captain by his friends and teammates. He had made it to a national team, gotten the respect of his teammates and was finally beginning to live up to his father’s name.

And yet in this moment, with Bittle resting his head over Jack’s heart, warm and relaxing together with no one else in the world but the two of them, for the first time in his life hockey was the furthest thing from his mind. In that moment his greatest accomplishment was somehow convincing Bittle to love him.

“So.” Jack settled back against the cushions, his hands roaming under the sweatshirt to rub Bittle’s back. “What’s so bad about fruit in dough?”

“Oh don’t even get me started! First of all, adding any moisture to a dough is just asking for disaster. So when you go and put raw fruit inside…”

Jack smiled and closed his eyes, shutting out hockey and play offs and anything that wasn’t the soft Georgian accent he loved talking about bake times and the great danger of a wet dough.

Until Dawn- Alternate dialogue from chapters 5 and 6

Once Upon a Time's Ginnifer Goodwin on Snow and Charming's 'bittersweet' goodbye

Snow White and Prince Charming got their happy ending after all.

During Once Upon a Time‘s season finale, the future looked grim for everyone. The Black Fairy had unleashed a curse that separated a now memory-wiped Emma (Jennifer Morrison) from her family, who were sent back to the Enchanted Forest as the realms began to crumble at Emma’s lack of belief in fairy tale characters.

As the curse overtook the Enchanted Forest, Charming (Josh Dallas) nearly died climbing back down a beanstalk with Hook (Colin O’Donoghue), but Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) found him and — in a scene echoing their true love’s kiss from the pilot — was able to revive him with a smooch.

Ultimately, Rumple (Robert Carlyle) killed the Black Fairy, while Emma sacrificed herself to prevent Gideon from turning dark. Echoing the climax of the season 1 finale, Henry’s kiss resurrected Emma, and the storybook ended, making the heroes realize they get their happily ever after. For Snow and Charming that meant living in Storybrooke, with Snow back to teaching and her family all together. Even though the heroes are missing in action when an adult Henry’s (Andrew J. West) daughter Lucy (Alison Fernandez) tracks him down 10 years in the future, for now, the Charmings have their happy ending.

The finale comes in the wake of the news that Goodwin, along with Dallas, Morrison, Emilie de Ravin, Jared Gilmore and Rebecca Mader, will not be returning to Once Upon a Time as series regulars next season. In an email interview, Goodwin exclusively tells EW about the impetus behind her — and real-life husband Dallas’ — exit.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: What came with the decision to leave Once Upon a Time?
GINNIFER GOODWIN: What came with the bittersweet decision to give these characters a happy ending — and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect for that — is room for a new story to grow and flourish as Snow and Charming’s did.

What was that conversation like with Josh when you guys were deciding this would be your final season?
“Hey, let’s call Eddy and Adam to talk about where our very special arc is headed.” — Ginny
“What a wonderful notion, Ginny. You have EXTRAORDINARY ideas! And have I told you lately that you’re ALWAYS right?” — Josh

How do you feel about how the story ends for Snow and Charming?
Selfishly, I’m pleased as punch. They got exactly what they wanted: dramatic, epic love balanced with normalcy (Snow’s word) and the space to indulge in both. Actually, it’s not an “end.” The final chapter of this story line is a continuation… which is kind of Snow’s own point in the finale.

Would you return in the future — either next season or for whatever ends up being the series finale?
In keeping with the aforementioned continuation-as-happy-ending, OF COURSE I (and we) will be back. It’s merely time for ONCE to focus on something new because ONCE does “new” extremely well.

When you look back at your time playing Snow, is there anything in particular you’re proud of, a moment that will stick with you?
I’m most proud of taking the job in the first place. That pilot was so refreshing and inventive and not-done, which could have been a recipe for disaster. But I took the plunge and was rewarded immeasurably. And as for moments, everything about “Snow Falls,” in which the Charmings fell in love, will stick with me. And I won’t ever forget sitting on a Neverland log with Emma, who found herself by admitting to herself that she was a Lost Boy. I also won’t let go of the scene in which Regina first ripped out Mary Margaret’s heart and then put the thing back in again, all while standing at Regina’s front door.

Do you have any regrets? Anything you wish you had done differently? Anything you’re glad to give up?
I wish I hadn’t been so hard on myself when I had trouble concentrating at work after having my first baby and learning what it is to be up all night… forever. As for wishing I had made different ACTING choices: Oh yes, all the time, and that’ll probably never change.

How do you think Snow has changed over the years?
I think she let more and more of Mary Margaret in.

How do you think you’ve grown and changed during the run of the show?
I’ve learned and learned and learned as an actress and teammate. And, I mean, look at my life! Over the run of this show, I met Prince Charming, fell in love, got married, and had two babies. It doesn’t get better than that.

How did it feel returning to the pilot in many ways, shooting Snow and Charming’s true love’s kiss, but in reverse?
Since I’m so nostalgic about the pilot, it was a gift. And in true ONCEfashion, the narrative was twisty-turny, which was invigorating and fun. And after that many episodes, “fun” is an exception to the general rule.

What’s next for you?
I’m performing in the play Constellations at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. It’s one of, if not THE, most challenging, demanding role I’ve ever tackled and I’m doing it live, so I’m shaking in my freaking boots, which is AWESOME. I’m completely infatuated with the writing. I adore everyone involved — ridiculously talented Allen Leech costars — I try not to fangirl out over the Downton of it all— and I’m director-crushing on Giovanna Sardelli. I’d been obsessing over a homesickness for theatre when this came into my life (which is all very ONCE UPON A TIME.)

What would you like to say to the fans who have followed you on this journey?
Thank you.

Alison ends up being AD. AD, Alison Dilaurentis, its so obvious that we would have written it off from the first moment we heard it…. Anyway, she ends up putting all her little game pieces exactly where shes wanted them all along aka “endgame,” her with Emily, and the other couples and we the viewers find out but the liars don’t. Like she frames someone and they go to jail for life or some shit and the last scene of the entire show is her pulling down the hood and smirking before like destroying her lair and walking off a silhouette against the burning flames of anything that would have incriminated her. UGHhhHHHHH I. WOULD. DIE.

It was Felicity Smoak appreciation week on Tumblr last week and the amount of great stuff that's come out of that puts a on on my face. Thank you for creating a character (along with the amazing Emily Bert Rickards) that's inspired so many young girls and women to go into STEM or to fight through challenges and be a positive influence. She's an amazing role model.

Thank you for watching.  Without you guys, there would be no show and, therefore, no Felicity.

Personal Space

“Hey, he’s back.”

You glanced up from the coffee machine you were wiping down and spied the familiar face that trotted through the door. You felt yourself blush and went back to busying yourself with cleaning. Your coworker Emily nudged you in the ribs.

“Ow,” you muttered, fascinated by the steam wand that needed a tenth polish.

“He’s coming over.”

“Shut up.”

“He’s almost here.”

“Emily, I swear to the Six––”

“He’s literally standing right in front of the counter and laughing at this entire situation.”

You squeezed your eyes shut for a second, your brain shuffling through different ways of murdering Emily before coming up blank. You sighed in defeat and looked up to see the now-regular customer with the sideways smirk drumming his fingers along the counter.

Emily elbowed you again and ran off, claiming she needed to check on some stock in the back of the cafe. Naturally, leaving you alone.

You self consciously fiddled with the hem of your apron. “Hi.”

“What was that about?” The man you’d come to know as Nyx asked, gesturing to your friend, who was very obviously spying from around the corner. You groaned, lightly massaging your temples.

“Nothing. How’ve you been? I haven’t seen you around in a few days.”

Nyx shrugged. “I got put on gate duty. Not important why, the details are a little fuzzy anyway.”

You bit back a smile, and shook your head. “You’re impossible, Nyx Ulric.”

He leaned his elbows against the counter, flashing you a toothy grin. “Impossible enough to go for drinks with me after your shift?”

You pretended half heartedly to wipe the coffee machine down again. “You’re persistent.”

“Could say the same about you, you know.” Nyx looked at you expectantly. “Any particular reason why you won’t go out with me?”

You dropped the cloth and leaned your lower back against the counter so that you were looking at him over your shoulder. “Maybe because you’re a member of the Kingsglaive and I’m a barista at a coffee shop in Insomnia, for starters?” You deadpanned, arms crossed over your chest. “Come on, Nyx. Be real.”

“I’m being real,” Nyx insisted, leaning over onto the counter a little more.

You could feel him pressing onto your personal bubble, invading the space just enough that you could smell the cologne wafting off his skin. Or maybe he just smelled that good—you really couldn’t be sure.

“As a member of the Glaive, I know better than anyone that life is precious, and it’s short. And I want to spend what little time I may have on Eos getting to know you better. I wouldn’t be trying so hard if I didn’t think you were worth it.” You turned your head away, suddenly enthralled by your own shoelaces. You heard Nyx sigh. “So…please? Have drinks with me tonight?”

You bounced your knee slightly, trying to weigh your options. You worried your lower lip between your teeth when you searched your brain and it only came up with one answer.

“I get off of work at seven,” you stated, still not turning to face him. But you could tell he was grinning. You could almost see it from your peripheral vision.

“Alright,” he said, and you could definitely hear it in his voice. “See you at seven.”

Before you could react, you felt him completely bursting through your personal bubble and he leaned forward to kiss you on the cheek. You felt the brush of his stubble against your skin, a light scratch that seemed to spark something within you. Your hand came up to touch the spot and you turned as he walked out the door.

Emily came running out of the back room with the biggest, goofiest grin on her face. “I saw that.”

You tried to hide your own smile, but judging by Emily’s face, you were failing miserably.

Seven o’clock couldn’t come soon enough.

By Joe Otterson

Gina Rodriguez has signed on to executive produce a female-driven drama in development at The CW, Variety has learned exclusively.

The potential series, titled “Femme,” follows four millennial women from different walks of life who become unlikely friends and fierce allies after meeting online in a secret feminist social media group. They form a sisterhood army in the real world to support each other through both serious and humorous crises and to help other women in need.

The “Jane the Virgin” star will executive produce along with Emily Gipson. The project was created by and will be written and executive produced by Audrey Wauchope and Rachel Specter. Rodriguez’s I Can and I Will Productions will produce in association with CBS Television Studios.

For Wauchope and Specter, this project continues their relationship with CW. Both women serve as writers and producers on the network’s Rachel Bloom-led series “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.” Both also worked on the series “Cougar Town” and “One Tree Hill.”

This is the latest project Rodriguez will produce under her overall deal with CBS Television Studios. Previously this season, Rodriguez set up a project at CBS and another at CW. The CBS project is a drama titled “Have Mercy,” based on the German format “Dr. Illegal.” It centers around a Latina doctor who is unable to practice when she immigrates to Miami. She begins work as a nurse’s assistant, but risks everything when she opens a makeshift clinic in her apartment to serve the community.

The other CW project is a one-hour dramedy called “Illegal.” Based on the life of series co-executive producer and writer Rafael Agustin, the series follows a sixteen-year old American high school student named Rafael who discovers he is in fact undocumented.  Gipson is also an executive producer on both projects.

I Can and I Will is also developing a series adaptation of “LA Story” at CBS TV Studios in conjunction with Alison Rosenzweig and Michael Gaeta of Gaeta Rosenzweig Films, and a drama based on the novel “Flood Girls” which they are executive-producing alongside Drew Barrymore’s Flower Films and writer Corinne Brinkerhoff.

This is also the latest female-driven development project at CW this season. Among the other such dramas set up at the network are: “Valiant,” based on the novel of the same name about a female gladiator by Lesley Livingston; “The She Word,” which tackles gender discrimination in the workplace and hails from former “Agent Carter” writer and co-executive producer Andi Bushell; and a series that will focus on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, based on the Archie Comics series “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.”

Wauchope and Specter are repped by UTA and Luber Roklin Entertainment.  Rodriguez and I Can and I Will Productions are repped by APA, Primary Wave Entertainment, and attorney Karl Austen

I am SO appreciative of everyone who is sharing stories, photos and cute little anecedotes from HVFF London! You all are amazing and my Olicity heart is dying! Emily Bett Rickards seems like a beautiful human, inside and out, and I’m so glad that she’s there and is having, what seems like, tons of fun! Always so great to see the Arrow cast together and she definitely brings a freshness to the con!

I will never understand the amount of hatred and animosity that gets thrown at KC during these events. I try my best to follow unbiased accounts of cons (not an easy feat on either side, let me tell you) and I watched the videos of the EBR, JS (UHM HE IS A GOD AMONG MEN WOW) and KC, and yes, totally admit there was definitely a bias for the panel host (??? is that the name ??) but overall, what I saw were co-stars who genuinely love and support one another. Emily had LOVELY things to say about Katie, and Katie had lovely things to say about Emily. There was one question that my Olicity shipper heart didn’t enjoy, and that was the love triangle thing, but I don’t think it was handled poorly at all. And also, that question was totally on the biased panelist.

Here’s the thing, I’m not there. So that should probably automatically mean that I shouldn’t get to share my opinion but I’m doing it anyways.

I was apart of the Arrow Twitter fandom for a little bit and I honestly couldn’t handle it. This cast seems like they love one another, and get along so well. But apparently to Twitter, they don’t and all secretly hate KC? And Katie is like a mean bitch who hates everyone?? And I just?? WHAT? where are they getting any of this?! And also, slut-shaming is NEVER okay. NEVER. NEVERRRRRRRRRRR.

To me, Katie seems like an introvert. Or maybe reserved is a better word. Some people have an easier time connecting with their audience and being very lively (please don’t shoot me but I kinda think that’s Emily) and others struggle a bit more. But from every unbiased account I’ve read, KC seems like a truly professional and wonderful person.

It’s just annoying and frustrating to me that a simple answer can get so twisted or that there’s this weird need to make things so dramatic in the Arrow fandom.

So you don’t like Lauriver, join the club! I don’t either! But that’s a CHARACTERS RELATIONSHIP, one that isn’t even existent currently, there’s no need to make it about the actress.

We can be better than that!

how i imagine the first scenes with five in season 4 will go:

*docks at a spacestation, barges in on a random card game with ryo and wexler in tow. adrian and solara are there, about to get their asses kicked cause adrian was clearly cheating*

five: off your asses and with me, now. we’ve got people to save and aliens to kill.

Let's review what we actually DID learn from 7x12

1. Hanna low key kinda stole a design from Claudia… as far as Claudia would see it. So that could cause trouble.

2. Who raided Hanna’s closet for dresses? Who showed them to Katherine? Who insists that the dress in question is the one she HAD to have? Mona.

So who most likely was responsible for Jenna getting the white copycat version? Mona.

3. Aria has Google Alerts set up for Ezra, I guess.

4. Aria is pissed off because, not only is it possible they were engaged… but because their are old photos of them together as well?

5. According to Jenna, Noel was cut off by his parents, meaning that he had debts.

6. Also according to Jenna, Charlotte had left money behind, but they have to find it?

She says “He recruited me for that treasure hunt, because he thought I had all the answers.”

This sort of implies that Sara, Noel and Jenna were all trying to find either some hidden money, or they are also playing a game and that’s the prize?

Didn’t Sara say something to Emily along the lines of “We’re all looking for the same thing?” Could it really be as simple and as boring, as money?

7. The puzzle pieces may form a map.

8. Addison is hitting a bong in the alley behind the Brew.

Who would even have a camera out in the Alley behind the Brew? Maybe the owner who is kind of obsessed with surveillance?

9. OK… so this woman exits the clinic…and then stands there for a minute like she’s been waiting for someone. Then Aria comes along and tells her story, and this lady looks like she doesn’t believe a second of it. Then she conveniently tells Aria what room she can find Nicole in. Ummm?

10. Holden tells Aria that he stopped her from visiting Nicole, because he didn’t want her to make ‘another mistake’.

Aria’s life is riddled with poor choices… but what 'other’ mistake is he referring to?

anonymous asked:

If it makes you write again, it's good that Beauty made you angry. But how could it make you angry if you haven't even seen it?

Recaps are a thing. I know what happened (I stopped watching ouat completely since/with Beauty and it was WAY easier than I expected… like, zero symptoms of withdrawal; I haven’t read any recaps since then). Knowing what happened is enough to make me angry. I will not be argued out of my anger, and I will not defend my anger.

Honestly, Emilie and Bobby could probably make me swallow cockroaches alive, so I don’t doubt they could make me swallow this plot for a while, but I don’t want to. I will not give A&E the benefit of the doubt. I will not accept that Belle is the only character of the old cast who explicitely had to die for plot reasons (and dying to show Rumple the path to mortality or whatever is a plot reason and nothing else, and it’s weak as fuck), while they pull a ho0k clone out their a** to keep him on the show (good for his fans though, I’m happy for them), and Emma gets her undefined HE with Hook and Baby.

No, Belle growing old and dying in isolation is not “everything I ever wanted” (I even doubt it is what she would have wanted, but hey, what do I know). It breaks my heart and it makes me angry. It’s a lazy cop-out for writers who never knew what to do with her character and seemingly never liked her, so every time she was in the way, they put her in a sleep coma. It’s only consequent they permanently killed her off now, without ever addressing past conflicts or traumas (She gave up her child!!!??!?! Did she ever get a moment to address that with her son before he was babyfied again, did she get to help him/talk with him/work with him? No. Who cares about her trauma anyways). And yes, it IS being killed off even if they give you a long and supposedly happy life, crammed into ONE episode and ending with you permantenly shelved, while at the same time all your friends, the friends you always fought for and loved (Grumpy, Mulan, Merida, Ariel, Ruby?) don’t even know you’re dying bc it happened in the blink of an eye for them and boom, you’re gone. No last goodbyes, no more adventures, no, you have to die so your husband, the one and only person that matters, the center of your universe gets to see the light. I don’t know, but that’s a message that makes me pretty angry. Furious, even.
