warm and hearty sweet potato bowl for breakfast!

what’s inside: 2 steamed and mashed japanese sweet potatoes with almond milk, chia seeds, almonds, sweet cacao nibs, more milk, and a drizzle of syrup

A spell jar I made to encourage protection, comfortability and adjustment in one’s life!

Materials:

  • A jar of choice
  • Herbs/materials of choice! I used almonds, sunflower seeds, thyme, lavender. I also used pink himalayan rock salt to enhance the spell and tie it together!
  • Tea light candle in a color of your choice
  • Optional: you may want to add in a slip of paper with something written on it, perhaps something you want protection from or the situation you need adjusting to!

Directions:

  1. First start by putting in the ingredients in a tiny bowl one by one. If you’re using what I used…
    Thyme for bravery, courage and strength
    Almonds for wisdom
    Sunflower seeds for wisdom, energy and luck
    Lavender for protection, prosperity, peace and happiness
    Pink Himalayan rock salt for protection
  2. Next, ground up all of the materials in the tiny bowl. While I did this, I visualized how I feel when I am protected and safe while thinking about being adjusted in a new environment. During this step it might help to visualize what you are intending on using this jar for. Once you are done with this, carefully pour your ingredients into the jar of choice.
  3. Before sealing the jar, if you would like to personalize the jar then it might help by adding in something you want protection from or the situation you need adjusting to.
  4. During this step you should seal the candle with either wax from the candle you will melt over the jar, or crazy glue/something similar. This is to ensure nothing will leak out if you shake it at any point.
  5. Finally, place a tea light candle on top of the jar and use a lighter to melt it and let the wax drip down onto the candle. I used a purple candle because of how it represents spirit, power and ambition.


And Ta-Da! You’ve created your spell jar meant to promote protection and adjustment! I hope this was helpful, happy crafting! 

Third Eye anointing oil

Use this oil to open up your third eye during meditation, divination and shadow work practices to allow greater intuition and increased psychic ability :)

- A carrier oil such as Grape seed or Almond oil

- Rosemary sprigs to recall past lives

- Lavender flowers to sharpen the mind

- Rose essential oil to increase psychic ability

- Frankincense essential oil to increase psychic ability

- Lotus essential oil for opening the third eye and assisting with self development

In a small jar sprinkle lavender flowers and arrange some rosemary sprigs. Cover with your carrier oil and add several drops of each essential oil. How much to use depends on how much you want to make and how big your jar is. I just went with whatever felt right.

Also keep in mind that essential oils can be toxic if applied directly to the skin, so try to keep a healthy ratio going with your carrier oil to dilute the essential oils.

Leave out in the moon light over night if you want to imbue some moon energy to your mixture otherwise just apply to your third eye and meditate away!

Smoothie bowl!!!
So I put
2 bananas
2 handfuls of blueberries
6 strawberries
Quarter a mango

Into a bag and in the freezer overnight. When I blended that up today with a qiwi and greet tea it turned out pretty thick so I decided to make it into a smoothie bowl with:

Chopped almonds
Chia seeds

IT’S SO GOOD!!! I honestly didn’t think it would be that good. But it’s so worth it

Breakfast, probably the most important meal of the day. Don’t skip it because it’s time consuming or you don’t know what to eat. So what can you eat that’s quick and healthy? How about some plain old oatmeal. Not the instant packet kind they are loaded with sugar. Just plain oatmeal…but that’s awful tasting you say. Well here’s a list of oatmeal add on ideas that can take your oatmeal from zero to hero.

Mix or match any of these for lots of great options and flavors in 5 minutes or less.

Currently dreaming of this breakfast 😍😍 whilst eating a messy bowl of oatmeal at my college cafeteria 😂  creamy oats cooked with chia seeds and almond milk, grilled crispy banana, berry compote, coconut yogurt, peanut butter, granola and maple syrup served with fresh ‘prune plums’ (hybrids between plums and prunes), chia pudding, nuts and peaches from the farmer’s market 🌻🌱🌱 #vegannnn
