This picture gave me a huge respect for people who can actually do cityscapes decently, holy shit. This can hardly be called a city at all, and it still murdered my face. This was probably too ambitious a project for someone who doesn’t do this kind of thing very often, but it’s done-ish, so I’m happy.
My half of an art trade I did with Alloy Rabbit! For my end, I tried to imitate his style a little bit. Kinda beefed it on the coloring (although I like it on its own, it’s not really what he does), but I’m still proud of it!
SO I KINDA GOT CARRIED AWAY WITH THIS WHOLE LARGE-HORSE SALESMAN IDEA but it’s really fun!
Also I’m going to start using Godzilla as my mouthpiece whenever I have a personal message I need to get out to the world. Because people listen to Godzilla.
And, before I forget, I’m going to be moving out of this apartment tomorrow (finally). I’m not sure how the internet situation’s going to work out at my new place, so I may be absent for a bit. Or I may not! Who can say?
Here’s some other stuff too. A couple of sketches from the last few days and (extremely slow) progress on this postcard thing. I don’t know how often I’ll be able to work on this one, since I’ve got other commission orders coming in and those should probably take top priority, but I guess it’ll be done when it’s done.
