Punch Your Way Through “Skyrim” Like A Badass (NSFW)

YouTuber Robbaz created a handy (and charming) video guide which basically allows you to fight through Skyrim completely unarmed as a Nord and be, in his words, “a f*cking badass.”

Self-dubbed as the “King of Sweden”, Robbaz has a penchant for profane commentary, so hide the kids if you must. And speaking of kids, children violence is also present in the video. You have been warned.

Nintendo Dress

Under their HereandThereVintage collection, Etsy is selling a Game Boy-themed dress for $70. Now I’m never too quick to label anything too nerdy, but this might just qualify. I mean, it’s kinda cute, I guess. If my girl was wearing this at Comic-Con, sure. Indoors, safe from judging eyes, embarking in naughty nerd roleplay, absolutely. Anywhere else…maybe not.

And hey, Halloween is closer than you think.

“Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions” To Be Released On iPhone August 4th

According to Famitsu, one of the best strategy RPG games of our generation, Final Fantasy Tactics, will be hitting the iPhone app store later this week on August 4th in Japan. It will be priced at ¥1,800. Though the game is only for the iPhone (3GS and 4 versions), it is expected to be compatible with the iPad in the Fall.

If you’re curious about how FF Tactics manages on the iPhone’s touchscreen, the video above shows gameplay footage. The funtionality seems smooth enough, with the player able to manually rotate classes and place units on the battlefields with their finger, for example. And the soundtrack is still fantastic.

Update: FF Tactics: The War of the Lions will indeed be releasing domestically ($15.99) and in Europe (€12.99) on Aug. 4th as well!

Enemies Unite In Latest “Amazing Spider-Man 2” Trailer

In addition to an ad aired during Super Bowl 48, Sony Pictures released their latest trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

The newest trailer focuses more on Maxwell Dillon (Jamie Foxx) – he apparently idolized Spider-Man – and the origin of how he becomes Electro. It then gives a glimpse of the rest of villains – Rhino and Green Goblin – who apparently will unite to take down the web-slinger.

Spider-Man’s greatest battle is set to begin on May 2 in theaters nationwide.

KIDS REACT to Hatsune Miku

For those of you not familiar with the ‘Kids React’ series, they’re pretty self-explanatory. A bunch of young kids are shown viral videos (usually of the pop culture variety) and give their adorable reactions while they watch them, as well as innocently answer questions regarding these videos afterwards. In this edition of 'Kids React’, a handful of kids react to none other than the virtual queen herself, Hatsune Miku.

So, yeah, prepare your body for some confused, honest, somewhat satisfied, and frankly, sensible American preteen reactions that only Hatsune Miku can provide.

If you want more of kids reacting to the popular Vocaloid, you can also watch a bonus video.

This “Ni no Kuni” Trailer Will Satisfy Anime & Game Lovers

Lost in yesterday’s early E3 trailer releases was this gem by developer Level-5. And it shouldn’t have been.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch centers around a boy named Oliver, who is on a quest to save his mother. Along the way he befriends allies who will ultimately lead him to an encounter with the White Witch.

A joint venture with publisher Namco Bandai and Studio Ghibli, the latter’s animated touch is on full display in this trailer. Joe Hisashi’s soundtrack also shines.

The English dubbing didn’t offend me, personally, but gamers will have the option to switch to the Japanese track should they prefer to.

Expect to experience this magical adventure on January 22, 2013.

Warner Bros. has released the second trailer for Zack Snyder’s Superman film, Man of Steel.

The trailer dramatically builds up to the official introduction of Superman to audiences and the world, whom Clark worries may not be ready.

Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Russell Crowe as Jor-El and Michael Shannon as General Zod – all of whom make an appearance in the trailer. The film will release nationwide on June 14, 2013.

Top 5: Favorite Afro-Haired Characters

Growing up, my little preteen little mind had always viewed characters who donned the Afro as cool. These characters were usually presented as confident, stylish and, quite frankly, badass in nature. I was so enamored by the hair style that I actually grew a rather ginormous one at one point in my life. While an experimental stage of my college years, I find no shame in it to this day, nor do I feel the need to hide the fact that having an Afro was pretty damn awesome.

It’s no surprise then that I’ve favored characters with Afros in mediums that I’ve encountered them in, regardless if they were cool or not. I always picked Jimmy T’s microgames in Wario Ware, rooted for Koko B. Ware religiously despite knowing that he would end up losing his matches, and marked out when Luffy briefly transformed into Afro Luffy (pictured above) for a few episodes in One Piece.

Even so, none of the characters mentioned so far made my list. So who did? Hit the break to view my five favorite characters who have gone with the fro!
