Often have Complains in Life ?

We often blame others for our problems and misfortunes.

We forget that even a leaf cannot fall down from a tree without the will of Allah.

Allah tests people in various ways. If a Muslim understands this, he will stop complaining.

Many questions come to our mind when life tests us.

The Holy Quran answers all our questions.

*WE ASK*

*1) WE ALWAYS ASK: Why was I TESTED?*

*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*

“Do men think that they will be left alone saying, ‘We believe’, and that they will not be tested? We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false.” [29:2-3]

*2) WE ALWAYS ASK: Why I never get what I wanted?*

*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*

“ It is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you love a thing, which is bad for you. But Allah knows, while you know not.” Surah Al-Baqarah [2:216]

*3) WE ALWAYS ASK: Why was I burdened this way?*

*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*

“Allah does not place a burden to a soul greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns."Surah Al-Baqarah [2:286] & "So verily, with every difficulty there is relief: (repeated) Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. "Surah Al-Insyirah [94:5-6]

*4) WE ALWAYS ASK: Why am I losing hope?*

*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*

"So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For you will be superior if you are true in Faith.” Surah Al-Imran [3:139]

*5) WE ALWAYS ASK: How can I face it?*

*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*

“O you who believed! Persevere in patience and constancy; vie in such perseverance; strengthen each other; and fear Allah that you may prosper.” Surah Al-Imran[3:200] & “And seek (Allah’s) help with patient, perseverance and prayer: It is indeed hard, except to those who bring a humbly submissive (to Allah).” Surah Al-Baqarah [2:45]

*6) WE ALWAYS ASK: What do I get from all these?*

*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*

“Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and properties (in exchange) for that they will have the garden (of Paradise)…” Surah At-Taubah [9:111]

*7) WE ALWAYS ASK: On whom could I depend?*

*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*

“(Allah) suffice me: there is no God but He: On Him is my trust- He the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme.” Surah At-Taaubah [9:129]

*8) WE ALWAYS ASK: But I can’t take it anymore!*

*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*

“…and never give up hope of Allah’s Soothing Mercy; truly No one despairs of Allah’s Soothing Mercy, except Those who have no faith.” Surah Yusuf [9:87] & “Despairs not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives All sins for He is Often- Forgiving, Most Merciful.” Surah Az-Zumar [39:53].

If Allah loves you more than the others, He will test you more than others! Stop asking 'Why Me?’ Instead praise Him more and more!

[Al-Wakil/The trustee/The Excellent Guardian]
“Allah suffices as a Disposer [of affairs].” ‎﴾‬‎4.81﴿‬
Allah is All-good and All-powerful; all our affairs are best entrusted to His care, for He is the best Guardian of all interests “In Allah let the believers put all their trust.” ‎﴾3.160‬‎﴿‬‎
Putting one’s trust in Allah means that one should take all possible precautions and then leave the results in the hands of Allah, who knows the working of events better than any human mind can conceive of. “And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].” ‎﴾‬‎3‬‎‎.‬‎1‬‎5‬‎9‬‎﴿‬ A true believer, like the Prophets, realises that the fruition of his efforts comes only from Allah, therefore He turns to no one else for that. “Sufficient for us is Allah , and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs."‎﴾‬‎3‬‎.‬‎1‬‎7‬‎3‬‎﴿‬ The Prophet ‎ﷺ‎‬‎ recommended the following dua before sleeping: "O Allah, I surrender myself to You and entrust my affair to You, with hope in You and fear of You. There is no resort and no deliverer (from hardship but You). I affirm my faith in the Book which You revealed and in the Messengers whom You sent.”
To take Allah as the only Guardian is part of our belief in Allah, as is clear from this verse “(O Prophet, tell them) "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied.” ‎﴾‬‎6‬‎7‬‎.‬‎2‬‎9‬‎﴿‬ Tawakkul (having trust in Allah) is a highly desirable and rewarding trait which all of us should try to develop for it reinforces our belief in the One true God.❤️

And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allah has set a measure for all things.

When people kick us down in life, we feel so hurt, worthless and unvalued. We don’t feel good enough because people aren’t treating us that way. We feel undeserving because we haven’t been treated right.

You can’t force anyone to respect or value you, but you know that with Allah Almighty you are so valuable. Despite how low many people try to make you feel, the truth is that Allah continuously reminds us that He is with the oppressed, He is with the heart broken, He is with the one who is in distress.

The more people put you in a position of loneliness, is a great reminder of how close Allah is to you. Allah will suffice you against them. Nothing can harm you, nothing can hurt you, nothing can prevail over you if you have Allah swt.

You have so much value. Because Allah swt created you, He loves you. If He loves you, that’s the only thing that matters.

The Screening Of The Niqaab!

O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever OftForgiving, Most Merciful. Qur'an - Al-Ahzab 33:59

Muhammad bin Sirin (Rahimahullah) from the tabi'een) asked a question regarding the Jailbaab, and narrated the response to this question as follows, “I asked Ubaida bin Sufyan bin al-Harith (‘Radhiallaahu An’) how the Jalbaab was to be worn? He demonstrated it to me by pulling a sheet of cloth over his head to cover his entire body, leaving the left eye uncovered.  (Found in “hijaab wa Safur” quoted by Shaikh AbdulAziz Bin Bazz under the chapter of his fatwaa on hijab on page 54)

The subject of the niqab is lengthy, and there is a difference of opinion on whether it is wajib or not. However, on a personal level, it is for me and what I have witnessed and seen just by day to day life, and contemplating on the verse “tell them to draw their cloaks (veil) all over their bodies, that will be better, that they should be known, so as not be annoyed.”  {Al-Ahzab 33-59) This verse is precise and evident in everyday life, without the correct covering there is NO restriction, people stare at you and some go as far as to speak with you, but the screen (Niqaab), people “men” are too shy to speak to you. Niqab creates honour and security in the position of a female. These “restrictions” are not for us but for the outsiders, and only to guard against all ways of corruption arising from other avenues. I advise myself, and my sisters to ignore popular beliefs and see it for yourself, what Islam has established is not a restriction on the freedom of women but is a firm protection for her from the evils that are known and common nowadays.

The Prophet was the example of all examples to take from, and his wives and the Sahaabiyaat women of his time are the ultimate example, for us today, as he guided them to that which is correct and upright.

Safyeeyah bint Shayebah (radiAllahu anha), said:

“While we were in the company of A'isha (radiAllahu anha) we mentioned the women of Qureish and their good favors, then A'isha said: “indeed the women of Qureish have a good favor and by Allah I have not seen better than the women of Al-Ansar in their strength of acceptance of the Book of Allah and in the belief in the Revelation: At the time when Surat An-Nur was sent down and in it Allah says:

وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَىٰ جُيُوبِهِنَّ

"Let them (believing women) draw their veils over Juyubihinna (their bosoms, faces, necks and bodies, ).”

Soon their husbands turned to them reciting what Allah had sent down to them (i.e. the above Ayah), the man recites to his wife, his daughter, his sister and to every female relative. Not a single woman of them except that she took up her robe (shawl) (wrapped) and covered her head and face in
acceptance and belief in what Allah had sent down from His Book. The next morning they were behind the Prophet ﷺ, covered as if black crows were on top of their heads.”

(This can be found in The Tafseer of Al-Qur'an Al-Ath'eem by Ibin Katheer 5:90 (Arabic)

الله يحفظهم, there are so many sisters who have asked about the niqab and have reservations about it due to our families and current climate in the west. Whilst explaining this to our parents we must show mercy and gentleness towards our parents and elders,

as Allah advised when dealing with them,

And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy. Surah Al-Isra [17:24]

So continue to advise them with gentleness, regarding the reasons you feel this is best for you [wearing the niqab], and finally, refer to this verse regarding disagreement in the deen, must always refer back to the Quran and Sunnah,

Where Allah says:

O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad ﷺ), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ), if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination. Surah An-Nisa [4:59

If you feel a strong conviction to wearing the niqaab, correct your intention, make dua and do not worry, about the environment or external parties, and Allah will provide a way for you. As Allah says,

And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent. Surah At-Talaq [65:3]

“And be patient for your patience is but by Allah.” [an-Nahl 16:127]

No matter what you are experiencing, the one thing you cannot lose is “Hope”:

Allah says: Whoever trusts Allah, then He will suffice him. (Holy Quran, at-Talaaq 3)

[Al-Haseeb/The One Who Takes Account/ The Reckoner] The Qur'ān informs us on the day of judgement, Allah will present before you a record of your deeds in the shape of a wide open book, (saying): “Read your record. Sufficient is yourself against you this Day as accountant."‎﴾17.14‬‎﴿‬ As the Reckoner, Allah’s arrangement is so perfect that on looking at the transparently clear and truthful record of our actions we will realise we are destined for His reward or punishment. "And Allah suffices as a Reckoner.” ‎﴾‬‎33.39﴿‬ Whether we proclaim what is our hearts or hide it, Allah shall call us to account for it. “Truly, to Us they shall return; then it is Our job to call them to account.” ‎﴾88:25-26‬‎﴿‬ There is not the smallest action, word or thought but must be taken account of by Allah. “We will set up balances of absolute justice on the Day of Resurrection, and no person will be wronged in the least. Even though it be a deed so much as the weight of a grain of mustard seed, We will bring it forth to be weighed. We suffice as reckoners.” ‎﴾21.47﴿

anonymous asked:

Salam, do you have any tips on how to think positively? My anxiety and depression has caused me to become so negative and I feel its one of my most prominent sins but I cant help it. Jazakallah Khair

Wa’alaikumasalam!

The most important step you need to take is learning how to trust Allah. He created you, trust Him - He will take care of you! Those who rely on Allah and put their complete trust in Him will live a happy life and Allah will not let them down.

Always be optimistic in all of your affairs, think good of Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ‎. Be fearless, Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ‎is far greater than all of the obstacles you will face in this life. Your negative thoughts may be unjust to the greatness, kindness, love, and mercy of Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.

🌸  “And if Allah touches you with harm, none can remove it but He, and if He touches you with good, then He is Able to do all things.
— The Holy Quran, Chapter 6, Verse 17.

Allahu Akbar. Laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa Billaah. All power resides with Allah, so bring your heart at ease as He is the best disposers of affairs and the most merciful.

🌸  “And be patient; verily, Allah loses not the reward of the good-doers.“
— The Holy Quran, Chapter 11, Verse 115.

🌸  “And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allah has set a measure for all things.”
— The Holy Quran, Chapter 63, Verse 3.

🌸 “Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah, certainly, Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him). If Allah should aid you, no one can overcome you; but if He should forsake you, who is there that can aid you after Him? And upon Allah let the believers rely.
— The Holy Quran, Chapter 3, Verse 159 - 160.

🌸  “Indeed, We will support Our messengers and those who believe during the life of this world and on the Day when the witnesses will stand
— The Holy Quran, Chapter 40, Verse 51.

🌸  “And Allah has full power and control over His Affairs, but most of men know not.”
— The Holy Quran, Chapter 12, Verse 21.

🌸  “And give good news to those who persevere, those who say, when a misfortune strikes them, Surely to Allah we belong, and surely to Him we will return, THESE are the ones on whom BLESSINGS from their Lord descend, and MERCY, and these are the ones who are rightly guided”
— The Holy Quran, Chapter 22, Verse 155-157.

🌸 “If, in spite of intense supplication, there is a delay in the timing of the Gift [al-‘ata], let that not be the cause for your despairing. For He has guaranteed you a response in what He chooses for you, not in what you choose for yourself, and at the time He desires, not the time you desire.
— The Hikam, Ibn ‘Ata’illah, Chapter 1, 6.

🌸  “It is He who confers blessing upon you, and His angels [ask Him to do so] that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And ever is He, to the believers, Merciful.
— The Holy Quran, Chapter 33, Verse 43.

And know that if something does go wrong, it may be a test from Allah or even something good which you perceive not!

🌸  “But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.”
— The Holy Quran, Chapter 2, Verse 216.

🌸  “Amazing is the affair of the believer, verily all of his affair is good and this is not for no one except the believer. If something of good/happiness befalls him he is grateful and that is good for him. If something of harm befalls him he is patient and that is good for him” (Saheeh Muslim #2999)

🌸  “If they would only put their trust in Allah as they should, He would provide for them like he provides for the birds who fly out in the morning hungry and return fully satiated.”
— Prophet Muhammad, narrated by Sunan al-Tirmidhī (2344) and Sunan Ibn Mājah (4164)

🌸  “The example of the bird going out in the morning shows us that one of the greatest expressions of faith and devotion is to take all practical steps to achieve our goals while at the same time placing our complete reliance upon Allah for the outcome”
— (Al-Oadah, 2012).

Read more Quran in the language you understand. The Quran can be so uplifting, Allah comforts the believers constantly throughout the Quran.

Whenever you have a negative thought, seek refuge in Allah from shaytan and from the evil of your nafs and follow it up with a positive thought.

Read this article! and this one too!

I hope I was able to bring some ease to your heart through the words of the Most High.

Contemplate. He has power of all things, He is the Most High. No one can go against His decree. Just do your best and trust in Him, He will take care of you and all of your affairs.

A true friend for the sake of Allah

Just one true friend for the sake of Allah ﷻ will suffice the one who truly relies upon Allah. Have you found that friend yet?
The one in whose presence your heart enjoys the warmth of their righteousness? The one in whose face you see the light of honour and dignity? The one in whose smile you recognise the grace and mercy of a Believer? The one in whose heart you find a home of comfort and love?

Just one friend who holds these qualities, that one friend can not be compared to even a thousand. For she is that one friend in whose company you sense the wisdom of a generation of elders. Those who speak with thought and experience, and only wish to offer you the best of their services.

She is your best well wisher. Your sincerest carer. She listens to you, time and time again. She helps you when you’re down. She boosts your spirits when they are low. She gives you when she hasn’t got much to offer. But not in terms of materialistic things, rather in terms of good words - words which bring contentment to the soul. After Allah, she is your next best friend. And what makes her so special is that you know she’s Allah’s friend too.

That one friend will show you not only the stars but will enlighten your path and walk you towards the moon. She will walk in her humility and grace and from such a simple act you will heed hundreds of lessons. Take the friend who teaches you without realising, allow her to be your teacher, your sister and your soul mate. Let your eyes be cooled in her presence for truly she is capable of doing so. And let your heart be at peace, let it sit in tranquility, dwelling in her serenity. This friend of yours, hold her close to your heart and tell her how very close you hold her to you. Declare your love for her in the most beautiful manner. Because Nabi ﷺ said: If you love your brother then tell him. (To the nearest meaning.)

Oh Allah make these precious friends of ours- neighbours of Yours in Al Firdaus.

[Ash-Shaheed/The Witness]
“And He is the witness of all things.” ‎﴾‬‎3‬‎4‬‎‬‎.‬‎4‬‎7‬‎﴿‬
There is nothing that we do but Allah is a witness to it. His knowledge not only comprehends all things, but is also neither subject to nor obliterated by time “And, [O Muhammad], you are not [engaged] in any matter or recite any of the Qur'an and you [people] do not do any deed except that We are witness over you when you are involved in it. And not absent from your Lord is any [part] of an atom’s weight within the earth or within the heaven or [anything] smaller than that or greater but that it is in a clear register.” ‎﴾‬‎‎1‬‎0‬‎.‬‎6‬‎1‬﴿‬
Allah is a witness to every activity in the universe: be it the words of the Messenger or the falling raindrops, so we are certain that no truth is ever lost. “Does it not suffice that your Lord is the Witness of all things?"‎﴾‬‎4‬‎1‬‎‎.‬‎5‬‎3‬‎﴿‬
Allah also suffices as a witness to the great fact that His messengers spoke the truth: "But Allah bears witness to that which He has revealed to you. He has sent it down with His knowledge, and the angels bear witness [as well]. And sufficient is Allah as Witness.” ‎﴾‬‎4‬‎.‬‎1‬‎6‬‎6‬‎﴿‬ To be a witness implies being present at an event. Allah is never absent from any place, or any time, but His presence is independent of such relative conceptions, which spring from of our limited human nature. “Then We will surely relate [their deeds] to them with knowledge, and We were not [at all] absent.” ‎﴾‬‎7‬‎.‬‎7‬‎﴿‬
Our day to day life should all reflect our concern for the truth. For example, whilst yourself being a witness at an event, our loyalty should only be to truth and we should not get swayed by any other consideration. The Prophet Muhammad ‎ﷺ‎‬ made it clear that false testimony is a major sin: “I heard Anas b. Malik saying: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) talked about the major sins, or he was asked about the major sins. Upon this he observed: Associating anyone with Allah, killing of a person, disobedience to parents. He (the Prophet further) said: Should I not inform you about the gravest of the major sins, and (in this connection) observed: False utterance or false testimony.”- Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Hadith 167

Aisha (Radiallahu anha) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Whoever seeks the pleasure of Allah despite the wrath of people, then Allah will suffice him against the people. Whoever seeks the pleasure of people despite the wrath of Allah, then Allah will leave him to the patronage of the people.”

He protects them, guards them and supports them, as He tells us elsewhere: “Is not Allah sufficient for His servant”(39:36)

and “And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allah has set a measure for all things” (65:3)

Allah does not like treachery or ingratitude:

Allah says “Verily, Allah likes not any treacherous ingrate” – means, He does not like any of His servants who bear these characteristics, i.e., treachery in covenants and promises whereby a person does not do what he says, and ingratitude is to deny the blessings, whereby one does not acknowledge or appreciate them.

Do you FEEL ALONE and want to be LOVED?

We can’t ignore the desire to be loved and appreciated as it is one of our innate needs. But we should avoid getting into haram (forbidden) relationships to fulfill our needs. That is why,Islam emphasizes on early Nikkah (Marriage) to let us satisfy our needs in a halal way. Our spouses are our garments and we are meant to find peace and tranquility in them.

However, some of our brothers and sisters are having a hard time getting married and some don’t feel loved even after their marriage takes place.

Some people face severe depression due to this and start feeling worthless. Some even feel they can’t really enjoy their lives until and unless someone loves them unconditionally. Some people even say they will start praying after they get married.

It is very important to address our emotional needs and keep them balanced. If you are unable to get married right now or dont feel loved by your spouse, you should realize that your life does not end there. There is much more to life than giving in to your emotions and desires.

Things are not in our control above a certain point. We can make dua to Allah to help us find loving and caring spouses and have tawakkul (faith) in Him. But, if it does not happen rightaway, we should not feel hopeless. Allah knows what’s best for us and He will give us that on the right time.

Why do we care so much if a guy/girl does not love us? What about the love that Allah has for all of us? He loves us more than anyone ever can and does not even ask for anything in return. Yet, we give our heart to this world instead of giving it to its Creator.
Loving Allah subhaanahu wa ta'aala and His Prophet [Peace be upon him], following the teachings of Islam and attaining Jannah should be our ultimate goal.

Maryam (Peace be upon her) who was the mother of Prophet Isa Alaihissalaam did not have a husband. Asiyah bint Muzahim was the wife of Fir`awn who was the most tyrannical among the people of the earth and the most disbelieving.Yet she was not affected by her husband’s disbelief, because she obeyed her Lord and attained great ranks. Both of them are among the best women of Jannah.

Some of the Prophets, such as Prophet Lut and Prophet Nuh alaihissalaam had disbelieving wives but that did not stop them from their actual goals. Their LOVE FOR ALLAH was enough for them.

Love Allah and become less reliant on others to feel loved. When your happiness will be dependant on Allah alone, nothing and no one will be able to take that away from you. Your smile will not fade even if you are not loved by any human in this world because the love of Allah will suffice all your needs.

Instead of desperately looking for love, work on developing yourself into a stronger, more knowledgeable and a better Muslim and in sha Allah, everything else will fall into place.

Dua to gain ALLAH’S LOVE: Join us in this beautiful dua

“O Allah! I ask You for Your Love and the love of those who love You, and deeds which will cause me to attain Your Love. O Allah! Make Your Love dearer to me than myself, my family and the cold water”

Allaahumma inni as'aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuka, wal-‘amalalladhi yuballighuni hubbaka. Allaahumm-aj'al hubbaka ahabba ilayya min nafsi, wa ahli, wa minal-maa'il-baarid
