all the guys are watching steph

anonymous asked:

Imagine Batfam crashing Damian's first date because Damian has crashed many of their dates.

So I’m not sure if this is exactly what you wanted anon, but here it is.

Batkids crashing Damian’s first date:

  • They all team up for this. Dick, Steph and Jason are the more excited about it. Tim, Duke, Cass and Barbara just go for the laughs. They trace a plan that no one follows at the end and intercep every phone call or text message Damian makes/sends to find out every detail about the date, location, hour, what they’ll be doing.
  • Damian and his s/o decide to simply just go and watch a movie, and it’s perfect (for the guys, not for Damian).
  • Steph makes sure to snap photos of every soft moment Damian has while Dick squeals in the background and Tim snorts. He walks around holding his s/o hand? There’s a picture. He blushes when they get to close to his face or stares at them lovinly? Stephanie has a photo. He holds their waist when they trip and almost fall? Picture.
  • Steph collects so much blackmail material that day that she wouldn’t be surprised if it last her the rest of the year. And she is so happy.
  • They follow him and his s/o around and aren’t even subtle about it.
  • They finally get to the cinema, right behind Damian. He and his s/o are sitting beside each other with a shared bag of popcorns when Jason walks right in front of them and sits at Damian’s side, resting his arm on top of his head and stealing the popcorns away with a smug grin on his face.
  • They surround them. Before they know it, Damian’s s/o has Dick seated at their side chatting non stop about the movie while Barbara, Tim and Steph burst out laughing at Damian’s unamused expression. Duke is in some corner watching from afar and laughing too, but not as loud as the others.
  • They end up being kicked out of the theater, it was an horror movie, no one is supposed to be laughing in one of those.
  • Damian is so pissed. His s/o befriends either Cass or Dick and Damian swears to take revenge on every one of them.
  • Things turn into some kind of big group date at a batburger and Barbara finds a way to keep Damian and his s/o with at least two person between them so they can’t even hold hands.
  • By the end of the night, they drop the s/o home and tease Damian the rest of the way to the manor. Duke makes sure Alfred keeps a photo of Damian’s s/o and Bruce is just surprised patrol felt lonely that night.

Life’s a Party (Batfam)

Requested by an anon

Summary: It’s date night for Bruce and Batmom, but when they come home chaos is unfolding within the mansion.

Warning(s): Shenanigans!

Life’s a Party BONUS PART

The marina was calm and quite desolate tonight, which made for the perfect location for a date. No one was going to bother you and it just so happened to be one of the main hotspots of activity lately, though the lack of people begged to differ. Nonetheless, it meant that Bruce was able to keep a watchful eye on the area while also showing you off as his arm candy to the stars and moon that shined down on you.

Neither of you barely said anything, enjoying the comfortable silence that fell over you both as you walked. The chill of the air coming off the water only gave you an excuse to walk closer to your beau. He always managed to make dates perfect somehow, even if they were interrupted by maniacs or calls from the principals office - though thankfully tonight he didn’t have to answer to either. It was just you and him, with each other’s undivided attention.

But alas, all good things must end and after hours of aimlessly walking around and talking about anything and everything, you decided to head home. As the car pulled up the long driveway you both could tell something was going on within the house from nearly a mile away. All the lights seemed to be on and music could be heard bumping through the walls like a heartbeat.

“I guess this is what we get for letting Alfred have the night off,” Bruce commented sarcastically, earning a snicker from you.

“I think it’s about time we show them how to really party. Don’t you, dear?” You suggested with a devious look on your face, one which Bruce returned just as deviously.

Hand in hand, you both walked into the house through the garage door, the music thumping into your core. As you progressed towards the epicenter of music and strobe lights, the house became steadily messier and showed signs of empty alcohol bottles and confetti just simply everywhere. The first child you found was Duke, completely passed out sideways in a rocker.

“Is he dead?” You questioned, half serious and Bruce shook his head after taking a pulse and let the sense of relieve wash over you both momentarily.

With a sigh from both of you, you continued your pursuit and not before long, you had slipped into the mass of people gathered in the main ballroom. The sight before you made you both stop and just stare.

Dick was showing off his acrobat moves, currently swinging from the chandelier as Barbara cheered him on from the staircase. Jason was screaming demands at the DJ from the “dance floor.” Tim and Cass were dancing next to each other while Steph had to prop herself up with help from the drink table. And Damian… Damian was no where to be seen which worried you more than seeing him involved in this mess.

The twitch in your eye made you want to go ape shit mother-hen on all of them, dragging each of their most likely intoxicated bodies to their beds. But, no, you had a much better idea. Bruce was thinking the exact same thing and wrapped a hand around your waist before pulling you close to him. A devilish smirk crossed your faces and you emerged yourselves into the crowd, locked together so you wouldn’t lose the other.

In your travels you both acquired a drink and held them tightly in hand as you started dancing with each other. Purposely sloppy, you made sure the two of you were making a scene, grinding, and yelling, and kissing until the people around you started to notice. Just as you had hoped, they began moving away from you, no one wanting to dance next to the old grinding couple, a few of them even realizing who you were.

After about a half hour, the room cleared out enough that a few of the kids spotted you, freezing in place. Bruce notice and motioned in their direction, making you turn your head to spot Tim, Cass, and Steph. The shock on their faces made you laugh and even Steph, who was clearly the most inebriated, widened her eyes and furrowed her eyebrows as if you were figments of her imagination.

“Hey guys! Nice party!” You yelled over the music to them as if you were just another couple of random partygoers.

The lack of anger on yours and Bruce’s faces terrified them all to the core before your face immediately dropped into your trademark serious ‘you’re in deep shit’ look. “It’s time to end it.”

Steph nodded slowly, seeming to take a different meaning to your words as she slurred a goodnight and shuffled along the walls up to her bed. With a shrug you watched her, at least one of them was making this easy though the other two just stood and stared.

“Now,” Bruce chimed in with his own stern look and Tim and Cass bolted, no doubt to find the others and tell of their situation.

Arms folded over your chests, you and Bruce stood side by side in the middle of the ballroom, watching as the people filed out and the music stopped. Jason let a string of expletives out as he started cleaning up bottles before even acknowledging your presence. Tim and Cass kept ushering people out, stumbling slightly in the process.

Dick still hung upside down from the chandelier and he waved with a smile when he saw you, though his words were slow and slightly slurred, “Heyy Mom! Heyy Bruce! You’re home early!”

With a sigh and a hand on your forehead, you offered a small wave with your other hand and rather unenthusiastically replied, “It’s three AM, Dick. Now get down from there.”

When all of the kids stood in front of you, excluding the ones already passed out or the one that was MIA, you looked them over with a disappointed frown before Bruce spoke up, “Tomorrow you’re cleaning this place up. And then we’re going to have a looong talk.”

“But for now, get to bed.” You chimed in, most of the glares being sent towards Cass and Tim, especially considering they were underage.

The two nodded and headed off to pass out, Tim actually glad for once when his head hit the pillow. After they left the room your attention turned back to the three left in front of you. Babs’ cheeks were flushed, her body telling you she obviously participated in the evening’s events. It was clear the second you walked into the room that Dick was far gone and you had to admit, you had some respect for anyone who could do acrobatics while drunk.

But when you looked Jason over, your eyes squinted. “Jason? Are you sober?”

Dick wrapped an arm around Jason’s shoulder and piped up for him, “Jay was our party mom tonight!”

“Dick, honey, go to bed. You too Barbara.” You softly told them and they nodded, slowly and hesitantly heading off in that direction.

“Just wanted to make sure no one died. Cause y’know, I know how that feels and it’s not very pleasant,” Jason explained sarcastically, brushing off the silent allegations that he did it because he was worried and turned to continue picking up a bit.

With a sigh, Bruce put a hand on your shoulder, “I’m going to make sure Duke’s still alive, and make sure he gets to bed.” You nodded up at him and gave a small smile and swiveled to take in the whole image of the trashed ballroom.

You and Morgan had been married only a little over a year when you found out you were expecting your first child. Morgan was beyond excited. He went out and basically bought out every baby store in Toronto. The rest of the team were no different. The little one was being spoiled before they were even born. The boys were beyond excited that their team “Mom & Dad” were now going to be real parents.

You and Morgan had decided not to find out the sex, Mo was fond of it being a surprise. You resorted to calling the baby little Beaut. Kannon had other ideas and called the baby big bird. You were hoping you would not be pushing out an eight-foot yellow bird in just a few weeks.

The pregnancy had been going smoothly. You were 35 weeks and the Leafs were in midst of their playoff run. You were currently dedicating your time convincing the little Beaut to stay safe and sound in your belly. You were standing in the bathroom brushing your teeth when Morgan walked in from morning practice.

“Hey Mama, You okay? You were up and down all night.” He asked wrapping his arms around your protruding belly.

“Just couldn’t get comfortable last night” you smiled trying to pass it off as simply just that, it wasn’t a complete lie. What you left out is that it was all the cramping that was making you uncomfortable. You called your doctor once Morgan had left for practice and he said you should be fine as long as your water didn’t break or the contractions weren’t too close.

“Are you joining me for my pregame nap?” Mo asked, bringing you from your thoughts.

“Ill lay down with you, but if I can’t get comfortable I will go downstairs. I don’t want to keep you up.” You walked over to the bed and laid down with him. He quickly fell asleep. But the cramps kept coming, now a bit closer.

You quickly got up praying not to wake up Mo. He was still out when you reached the door. You smiled at him sleeping so peacefully.

You went downstairs and into the kitchen. You hoped eating something would help settle the little one in your belly. You began making a sandwich, talking to your belly.

“Listen here, little Beaut. I can’t wait to meet you but Daddy has a very important game. So that means you need to keep your little butt in there.”

You felt a kick as if the baby was answering in rebellion.

“Don’t you sass me.” You heard a laugh and turned to see Mo walking down the stairs in his suit.

“Little Beaut being sassy are they?” he asked placing a kiss on your forehead.

“We are going to have our handful aren’t we?”

“Between the little Beaut and the rookies? For sure.” You laughed at his answer.

“Lucy is going to pick you up?” he asked

“Yep, I will see you at the game Captain” You smiled

As you heard the door close, the cramps continued.

“Why won’t you listen!” You threw your hands up as you walked up the stairs to get ready. This baby was leaning towards being more and more like the rookies. You were going to the game and this baby was staying in your stomach.

You had just slipped into one of Morgan’s old practice jerseys. It was one of the only things that felt these days.

You had just finished getting ready, between more and more cramps, as Lucy pulled up. You walked down the driveway and by the time you pulled yourself into her car, you were out of breath.

“Are you alright Mama Rielly?” she immediately asked obviously concerned.

“I am fine, just some cramps, it’s nothing.” You answered through your breathing.

“I am pretty sure they are called contractions when you are pregnant Hun and that we should be going to a hospital, not a hockey game.” She answered refusing to pull out of the driveway.

“Lucy. The doctor said I was fine as long as my water doesn’t break and that the cramps… contractions are not close enough. We are going to the game, I am going to watch my husband win, and this baby is staying in my stomach.” You said quite blatantly, trying to convince yourself more than Lucy.

“Let’s go to a hockey game then,” Lucy replied pulling from the driveway.

Lucy helped you up to the family suite where the attention was quickly turned to you. The girls flocking to you all rubbing your stomach and making sure you were okay. All you wanted to do was sit down.

You finally found your seat and were trying to get through that pointless breathing they taught you at Lamaze class when you were approached by Kannon. He came up and put his ear to your belly.

“How is Big Bwird?” he asked as he rubbed your belly with your hand.

You couldn’t help but smile. “Big Bird is not listening to their mommy.”

“That’s not good when I no listen I get timeout.” Kannon looked back down at your belly. “You no like timeout big bwird, no fun.”

You giggled. “Come on Kannon, Let’s let Auntie Y/N watch the game.” Molly smiled at you as she took Kannon to their seats.

Lucy sat down next to you, “How far apart are they now?”

“A few minutes maybe?” you answered as you tried to breathe through another contraction.

“Y/N we should really go to the hospital.”

“I can make it, Luc.” You tried to convince her as you turned to watch the game.

You had made it hallway through the game. It was the middle of the second period, the score was tied. That was until Morgan scored a breakaway goal and you all stood up to cheer.

Your smile dropped as you felt the liquid drip down your legs. Your shock was quickly over thrown by a contraction. This one was the worst one you had experienced.

“Fuck.” You almost yelled as you gasped for air.  All eyes were suddenly on you.

“Yep, it’s time to go.” Lucy grabbed your hand and lead you towards the door. Steph was following you but was headed towards downstairs.

You looked back at her and everyone else. “No one tells him! Not until the game is over!” you demanded.

The girls looked at you. “But Y/N…”

Promise me you won’t, or I will stay until the game is over.” You stared them all down and they knew you were serious.

You looked at Lucy. “Now let’s go have a baby.”

You reached the hospital and the contractions had calmed down and you were settled into the room. Morgan’s Mom had gone to the house to pick up your hospital bag and a change of clothes for Morgan since you all knew he would rush straight here. Lucy was feeding you ice chips as the three of you were watching the rest of the Leafs game. You prayed it didn’t go into overtime.

The game ended and the Leafs had won. All the guys were on the ice celebrating winning. That’s when they all turned and looked confused at both Steph and Sydney running out on the ice. They both almost tackled Morgan. You suddenly watched Morgan race towards the locker room as all the guys were behind him.

You shook your head. Not 15 minutes had passed before the door to your room swung open. There stood Morgan, still have dressed in his hockey gear.

He rushed to your side. “Y/N! Are you okay? Why didn’t you come get me?”

“I’m fine, it was a big game. You didn’t need to sit here with me, I’m not that far into labor.”

“But what if you were? I would never miss this. You and this baby come before hockey any day of the week. How long have you been feeling contractions?”

“Since last night maybe?” You shrugged trying to look innocent.

 “Y/N!”

“Okay maybe I should have told you, but everything worked out. So let’s just focus on now meeting the little Beaut. Plus, I’m about to push your child out, I get a free pass” You smiled.

He chuckled placing a kiss to your temple.

“Now go change, you stink.” You giggled.

He rolled his eyes and took his clothes from his mother.

A few hours and quite a few curse words later, you were lying in bed next to Mo holding your baby girl.

“She really is a Beaut,” Morgan whispered in your ear, stroking the newborn’s cheek.

“What should we name her?” you asked looking up at your husband.

“Charlotte, we can call her Charlie.” He smiled not taking his eyes off of her.

“I love it, Charlotte Grace Rielly.”

Morgan took his eyes off of her for a second, “We are parents.”

“We are, should we introduce her to the rest of her siblings?”

He laughed as he got up, taking one more look at his little family before he went into the waiting room.

Soon your room was filled with the entire Toronto roster. All of them swooning over the little baby in your arms.

 And your family was complete.

So, I went into the game theory tag today, hoping for some fanart, maybe some idea of old gt lives to watch,( found a lot of adorable stuff of matpat and steph) and I was shocked by the amount of overwhelming hatred towards matpat. Like some of it is hatred masquerading as "critisism" (though it's obvious they don't even watch the videos they're talking about) and most of it is just plain mean. One person nitpicked at a theory if his for 8 paragraphs, and that was a theory that was 4 years old!

RANT TIME!!!

I’m glad you mentioned this actually, cutie pie. I’ve been wanting to talk about this for a while. I feel like people get a misconstrued idea of who Mat is. Yes, his theories are typically very off the wall and zany. That’s the point. It’s not supposed to be “serious.” He’s just having fun, sprinkling together science and games to create something all his own, which is SUPER admirable in my opinion. He loves this. He’s passionate about it, and he puts so much thought and time into every video.

Also, as he’s said before, he’s not like his “character” that he portrays in the Game Theory videos, the “know-it-all” jerk that some people seem to think he really is as a person. To make my point, I recommend watching the video below where Mat actually talks about this.

If you’ve ever seen his livestreams, you’ll realize he’s not that person, and he and Steph are honestly couple goals with Skip the cat and Peepachu the stuffed animal. They play games on a couch and goof around, and it’s literally one of the most relaxing, and fun moments of my week to sit down when I have the time and join their livestreams. Yes, he can be competitive and off-the-wall, but Mathew is a really cool guy, King of all Nerds, and one of my favorite YouTubers. And I wish more people would give him a chance.

So if you (speaking to anyone reading this) are a person who dislikes Mathew because of his Game Theorist videos, do me a favor. Just watch the video and give him a chance. I promise, I’d never support someone and advocate for them if I didn’t think they were a genuinely kind and wonderful person who is worth your time.

Rant over, stay gold, cutie pies!

Please sauce me an ask if you have strong feelings)

Tensions were high that afternoon, even after Mitch ran to the store to pick up a couple of drinks. I wondered how the people who worked at the liquor stores didn’t suspect him of having a fake ID, how they would even sell him booze, before remembering that he was, in fact, a well known public figure.

William and Auston continued to be extremely short with each other, to the point that sitting between them got uncomfortable fast. Because of this, my text conversation with Steph regarding the boys’ odd behavior was almost incessant. Mitch tried to relieve the tension by being even bubblier than usual and inviting criticism, but William and Auston were too stubborn to let even ridiculing Mitch bring them together.

William and I also kept stealing little glances and touches, trying to get the other to react. It was the ultimate game of don’t get caught, and it was thrilling, though I was pretty sure the other three were on to us. The hand he had on my back eventually travelled down to find purchase in my back pocket, and my own was playing with the baby hairs at the nape of his neck, which I knew from past experience was something he liked.

Easter Bunny [Jason Todd x Reader]

A/N: Happy Easter everyone!!! Hope you all enjoy the holiday to it’s fullest and find plenty of easter eggs! I made this fic especially for easter and I hope you guys love it. This is kind of a sequel to Now and Always because I’m using the same child character I made. There’s a pretty large age jump, and I know the speech is advanced for a toddler but I have a nephew who actually just turned three and is able to speak like this so I’m basing Addilyn’s speech like that. I hope you all love it!

Thank you @memento-scribet for helping me with the end! You’re the bomb!

Next Part: Baby’s First Father’s Day

_____

Easter; a bright, warm time of year. A time little Addilyn loves, now that she’s big enough to run, she loves to go outside and play all of the time. You and Jason take her to the park almost everyday so she will let out some of that energy.

However, she isn’t fond of the mascot of this holiday. When you both took her to the mall to see the Easter Bunny, she wasn’t having it. She was absolutely terrified before you even got to the front of the line. Deciding not to traumatize the poor girl, Jason scooped her up and you both took her for ice cream instead.

This was a few days before Easter. Now it’s the day of, and Jason was getting ready to load her into the car as you grabbed some things to take to the manor. “Mommy! Zeebee?!” you heard her yell as Jason was carrying her out the apartment door. Smiling you came up behind them, the stuffed zebra in your hand. “Do you mean this little fella?” Her smile widened as she stuck her hands out for it, handing it over she hugged it tight before snuggling into Jason’s shoulder. “Mom to the rescue as always.” Jason said amused as the little girl nodded.

Following them out to the car, watching as Jason buckled her into her car seat. He’s really become quite the father, not that you had any doubts. When he pulled away from the car and closed the door he turned to see you watching him. “Take a picture it will last longer” he teased walking up to you. “What can I say, you’re a hot dad.” He laughed before pecking your lips.

After hearing a loud “ewwy” from the car you both laughed before getting in.

The drive to the manor was all around uneventful, Addilyn ended up falling asleep the moment you pulled out. Both chuckling when you peered back there and saw her fast asleep. But like magic, she was up when you pulled into the manor driveway. Bouncing in her seat, ready to see the family.

Jason grabbed the stuff you brought out of the trunk as you got Addie out of her seat. The minute her feet hit the ground she was running up to the door, Alfred opened the door before you even had to knock. “Alfred!” She cheered, running right into his arms. “Hello Miss Addilyn, how is your Easter?” he asked kneeling in front of her. “Good!” she grinned, looking past Alfred she saw Bruce. “Papa Bruce!” she cheered again before running into his arms as he scooped her up “Hey sweetheart!” he greeted her.

You and Jason greeted Alfred, you giving him a hug, before making your way farther into the manor. You hugged Bruce as Jason shook his hand. He carried Addilyn into the living room where everyone was. She jumped out of Bruce’s arms and ran to see her aunts and uncles.

“Whoa!” Steph yelled when she ran in, “Look at you, your dress is so pretty!” Addie grinned and hugged her. You and Jason came in next, seeing nearly all of Jason’s family. Tim, Damian, Steph, Cass, Barbara, but no Dick. “Where’s Dick?” you asked, brows furrowed in confusion.

“He said he has a surprise or something. He’s going to be late.” Tim answered as he was watching Steph play with Addie.

“Why do I have a bad feeling about this?” Jason whispered to you, making you laugh and shake your head. You ended up going with him into the kitchen, watching as he helped Alfred with some cooking. Alfred asked you guys about Addie and how things were. He knew you both were talking about having another child, so he questioned if you had decided too or not. All the while unbeknownst to Dick coming into the manor.

Addilyn was still in the living room playing with the others, right now Damain was showing her a new trick he had taught Titus. “Uncle Dami, how do you do dat?” her voice small. “Firmness and superiority” he answered as Addilyn just looked at him confused. “Damian she’s still little, she doesn’t know what that means.” Tim stated as Damian’s expression fell a bit. The others in the room laughed.

“Whas funny?” Addilyn looked around at the family, the ‘t’ not making it into ‘what.’ Though they paused when they heard Dick come in the door. “Hellooo?!” he called. Barbara yelled that they were in the living room. Though they all burst out laughing when they saw him in a giant Easter Bunny costume.

“Hi! Everyone I’m the Easter Bunny! And I’m here to see Addilyn!” He called cheerily, and looked down at the toddler. Her eyes widened in horror before she ran out of the room screaming. “Mommy! Daddy! Monster!” tears running down her face.

You and Jason immediately ran from the kitchen, her going straight into Jason’s arms. “Hey peanut what’s wrong?” he asked her softly as you ran a hand up and down her back. “M-monster! B-big bunny m-monster!” she sobbed into Jason’s shoulder. Exchanging a look you both went into the living room.

Coming upon the scene of Dick in an Easter Bunny costume and the family confused at what was happening. “Smooth Grayson, she’s terrified of the Easter Bunny” Jason glared at his brother. “She is?” they were all shocked.

You nodded, “Why do you think nobody got a mall picture, she didn’t even make it through the line.” continuing to rub her back, as she was beginning to calm down. Dick took off the costume head and walked behind Jason to where Addie could see him. “I’m sorry Addie, it’s just me. I didn’t mean to scare you.” he apologized as she peeked up at him.

“Uncle Dick?” she asked shyly. He nodded smiling at her. “Don’t do that again!” she yelled at him, surprising everyone. He chuckled “I won’t I promise” nodding. “Pinky promise?” she held out her hand. He wrapped his pinky around her tiny one, “Pinky promise.”

She nodded before turning to Jason, “I’m okay daddy.” Jason smiled before saying, “Okay, but can I have a kiss first?” She giggled before kissing his cheek. “And your mommy” he angled for her to peck your lips, which she did. Setting her down she returned to playing, avoiding the bunny head at all costs.

Jason wrapped an arm around your waist, “Can I have a kiss too?” he smirked at you. Rolling your eyes you connected your lips to his, getting a collective ‘ew’ from the family, minus Bruce. Addie giggled at the family’s reaction to her parents. “Mommy and daddy are yucky” she commented smiling. “Oh we’re ‘yucky’ huh?” Jason asked before running over and scooping her up as she laughed. You were right behind him as you both began to tickle her relentlessly. “No! Mommy, Daddy stop!” she squealed.

The family laughed at her giggles before Barbara broke in, “How about we go look for easter eggs? You know Addie, Uncle Dick is the best at finding them and he owes you for scaring you.” She smiled as both you and Jason let the little girl breath. “Tt. I could find more than Grayson” Damian crossed his arms.

“Is that a challenge?” Dick cocked an eyebrow at the younger male. “Perhaps” Damian shrugged.

Addie laughed before latching onto Dick’s leg, “Addie’s on my team!” Dick cheered before picking the girl up and running to the backyard. Damian hot on his heels.

“Wait I want in!” Steph stood from her spot, grabbing Tim’s hand and pulling him with her. “Wait Steph!” Tim yelled but it didn’t stop her. Cass, Barbara, and Bruce were the next ones out. Most likely to keep from any injuries happening.

You and Jason were still sitting on the floor watching as the family excitedly exited. Both laughing at the sight before looking at each other. “Hey [F/n]” moving so he was right next to you. “Hmm?” humming in acknowledgment.

He hesitated before asking,“Are you ready to have another baby?” uncertainty in his tone, keeping his blue eyes locked with yours. Letting out a sigh, you slowly connected your lips to his in a chaste kiss, which he reciprocated. Pulling away you met his eyes again and nodded, “I am.”

His face broke out in a beaming grin before he kissed you again in the most loving way. After breaking away he took your hand, pulling you up to your feet. After wrapping an arm around your waist he led you out to the patio, not before mumbling how much he loves you in your ear and you happily returning it.

I don’t know how it happened, but I reached 7k followers on Tumblr wow. That’s why I want to thank the people I absolutely love the most on here, the ones who I follow for so long and who I adore.

William Nylander - Sweet Creature #2

I maybe have to take back some of my words. You see, Madelaine’s boyfriend Auston was actually a really nice guy. I’m really hoping that Steph’s and Annika’s boyfriends turn out to be just as nice as Auston. He asked me some basic questions like where I’m from and what do I study which was nice of him. You know, not ignoring me like I wasn’t in the backseat of his car. Actually noticing me as a human being and talking to me. Of course I can’t be sure if Madelaine told him to talk to me, but it made me feel welcome. So maybe all hockey players are not arrogant and selfish, but I still believe most of them are.

“So how many people are gonna be there?” I asked mainly from Madelaine, but instead got an answer from Auston.

“Well some guys from our team and their girlfriends - if they have one.”
Instead of saying anything, I nodded. More hockey players coming I guess. I felt kind of nervous, since Steph, Annika and Madelaine are all so gorgeous and I’m your average plain schoolgirl. Most likely the other girls are also gonna look like models, so I think I have every right to be nervous right now.

“But you know, there are going to be some single guys.” Auston said smirking, making Madelaine giggle and me -well blush. Yea right, like any of those guys would even notice me. Auston parked his black Audi close to a house I assumed was Steph’s place. All three of us got out, making our way to the house. We went in to a nice white house that was beautifully decorated. There was motivational and positive quotes framed on the walls and some plants giving a little nature vibe to the house. I liked it, it was totally beautiful.

“Auston you beast! Two girls?” A male voice shouted making a lot of people laugh. Crap, I guess their hockey team is large?

“Chill Kappy, she’s a friend of our girls.” Auston said sending me encouraging smile. Fun, Mads probably told him that I was nervous to meet all of these people. I sent a death-glare at Mads, making her shrug and smile. I just stood there, watching maybe more than twenty people stare at me. I waved to them, smiling shyly.

“Aren’t you gonna tell your name?” one guy asked bluntly getting a slap on his arm from a girl. Probably his girlfriend.

“I’m Alina.” I said trying to spot a free place to sit on. The whole situation was getting uncomfortable for me but thank god Steph came from somewhere just in time.

“Alina! Great to see you again.” she said excited, giving me a warm hug. Soon Annika followed her, doing the exact same thing.

“Everyone! Food is in the backyard!” Steph yelled shooing everyone away. All of the guys practically ran outside, probably hungry. We went also to the backyard where everyone was taking food, talking and basically just chilling. So far this seemed nice, and no one had been exactly mean to me. That one guy was kinda blunt, but I won’t let that bother me. I made my way to Madelaine, who was sitting with Auston, Annika and two guys I didn’t regonize.

“Alina. This is my boyfriend Kasperi, and Steph’s boyfriend Mitchell.” Annika introduced.

“Mitch.” the other boy corrected extending his hand towards me. I shook his hand saying my name once again. Annika’s boyfriend also shook my hand before focusing on his food. Soon Steph joined us so I was being seventh wheel. Wow, never have I ever been this single.

“Oh look, the Nylander himself arrived beautifully late.” Auston said pointing to the backyard door, making everyone throw some kind of comment about this Nylander guy. I wasn’t really interested on who he was so I didn’t turn around to see him, instead I kept eating my food. The guys went to the pool after they ate so it left just us girls.

“Alina, have your eyes caught any potential hubby material?” Annika said teasingly, drinking her coconut water. I shook my head blushing. I should really work on this whole blushing thing.

“Like I said, I’m unlucky in love.”
“Well you’re not alone. Willy is also very much unlucky when it comes to girls and love.” Annika said laughing.

“How is he unlucky?” I asked curiously, not even knowing who this Willy is.
“He’s just.. I guess every girl thinks he is this super masculine man, kind of a badboy you know. Then they get dissapointed when they find out that Willy is this soft guy who actually shows his emotions.” Annika explained laughing. What kind of a girl wouldn’t want a soft guy like him?

“Also.. Some say his humor is weird and that he is weird. Every girl always falls for his looks and charm, but not his personality.” Annika continued, not laughing anymore.

“Well he isn’t as unlucky as I am. I can’t get anyone to fall for my looks or my personality.” I said ironically.

“That’s not true girl! You’re drop dead gorgeous and you have the kindest soul in this world.” Madelaine said. I gave her a smile before letting my eyes wonder around Steph’s huge backyard. There were way too many shirtless guys, who actually had really toned bodies and way too many girls in bikini also having toned and tanned bodies. Some were still eating, some were just talking, couple guys played badminton, the blunt guy was being all cuddly with his girlfriend and some were at the pool. Sunbathing, having waterfight or swimming. Then my eyes locked on to one guy. He was absolutely most gorgeous guy I had ever seen. His skin was tanned, he had those thick tights and great abs. His fluffy blonde hair was all over his handsome face. He looked exactly how you would imagine prince charming to look like.

“Uh oh, I see Alina checking out somone.” Steph said bringing me out of my daydream.
“Who’s that blonde guy?” I asked shyly pointing at the prince charming.
“That one? It’s Willy.” Annika said, shrugging and continuing her eating.
“The unlucky Willy?”
“Exactly. Why, were you checking him out?” Annika asked wiggling her perfectly trimmed eyebrows. I shook my head fast. I couldn’t be checking out the unlucky Willy, that would be a disaster.

“Aww, she was checking out our Willy. Isnt’ that cute?” Annika said smiling, making me obiviously blush.

“Oh please, I was certainly not checking him out.” I told the girls as I got up to get more food on my now empty plate. I filled my plate with some salad and chicken after making my way back to the girls. To my surprise four guys had joined these three girls. One of them being the prince charming. I sat between Madelaine and Annika who where chatting about some clothes they had bought. Slowly I started emptying my plate, trying to look classy and girly, rather than a hungry pig, because the prince charming was sitting right opposite me.

“So William, how’s your love life?” Auston asked clearly teasing the poor boy.
“Not that you have one.” Kasperi added, making all of the guys laugh, including the prince charming.

“Hey guys stop teasing him! Not funny.” Annika said making Kasperi shut his mouth immediately. “Everyone isn’t that lucky here, so stop making fun of it before anyone hurts their feelings.” She continued, taking a quick glance at my way, but not quick enough.

“Oh, so Alina. Love life doesn’t treat you well either?” Mitch asked earning a slap on his arm from Steph. I just quickly shook my head and continued eating, trying to avoid this very subject.

“Well then that makes the two of us.” the prince charming said. Finally I looked at him, and oh boy I shouldn’t have, because that smile and those blue eyes would be the death of me.

PART SIX

Least to say, the rest of dryland doesn’t go as planned. You can’t seem to pull your eyes away from Auston. He’s throwing you off your game, and he’s well aware of it.

You keep telling yourself to focus, but then you catch a glimpse of Auston’s arms while he’s doing a push-up and you get distracted all over again.

By the time dryland is over, you’re sweaty not only from exerting yourself to complete the sprint drills, but also from frustration. How dare he just take his shirt off like that in the middle of dryland, knowing exactly the effect he has on you!

“That was rough,” Steph says while grabbing her water bottle from the bench you’re sitting on, sighing as she sits down beside you.

“Tell me about it.”

You watch as Auston fools around with some of the guys on his team, yelling and chasing each other around and trying to steal each other’s hats. They’re like oversized kids, honestly.

“Would your lack of focus perhaps be caused by a certain shirtless male?”

You blush deeply and give Steph a sheepish look. “Maybe.”

She grins. “Don’t worry, I totally get it. He’s super hot.” She gives Auston a quick appreciative glance.

“But not as hot as Mitch, right?”

Steph’s face turns dark red.

“Caught you,” you tease her. “You two are so obvious it’s actually quite hysterical.”

“Really? You think he’s interested as well?” she asks, completely earnest, a trace of anxiety in her voice. Steph had been treated badly in the past by guys who were only interested in one part of her and not her as a whole.

“Steph, he couldn’t be more obvious if he tried,” you reassure her. “Mitch never shuts up, and when he saw you I honestly believe he forgot what words were. He just stared at you for two minutes straight with his mouth hanging open. I got secondhand embarrassment from watching him.”

“Oh my god, really?” Steph giggles, relieved.

“Yes really. Auston and I were trying so hard not to laugh.”

“Okay, good. Because I was thinking I was just imagining it and playing things up in my mind like I normally do.”

You think seriously for a moment before responding: “You know Steph, I haven’t known Mitch for very long, but he truly seems like a decent guy. And you know me, I don’t say that about just anyone. I’d say pursue him if you want, but don’t put your entire heart on the line, okay? Be careful. I don’t think he would do what they did,” you say, referring to the boys who had used her in the past. Anger rises in you as you think back to a broken Steph, crying on your bedroom floor. “But I wouldn’t dismiss him as incapable of being a dick.”

“Okay. Alright.” She nods her head in agreement. “And you be careful about Auston as well.” She gives you a stern look.

“Don’t worry, I don’t think it’s going to turn into anything serious. Hockey comes first.”

You both fall silent, turning your attention back to the boys. They’ve finally quieted down and are helping the instructor clean up the last few pylons left on the field.

By habit, your eyes fall on Auston, following him as he collects the pylons and jogs back over to the instructor to hand them back to her.

Auston glances over and catches you staring for what must be the thirtieth time. He raises an eyebrow. You blush deeply, trying to look anywhere but his upper half as he walks up to you. “Um, your shoelace is undone,” you explain, pointing at his foot.

“Oh,” he says, looking down. Sure enough, his left shoelace has come undone. When he bends down to fix it, Steph gives you an impish look that you try to avoid.

“You know, I’m just going to see if she needs anymore help with the pylons,” Steph says, winking at you as she stands up.

You shoot her daggers, but she just grins and skips away, leaving you alone with Auston.

“So…that was a fun session,” he says.

You stand up, uncomfortable sitting in front of him as he peers down at you, and also trying to avoid being directly eye-level with his stomach. You’re trying so hard not to stare.

“Do you want to walk back with me?” you ask.

“Sure, but I was actually going to grab some water first. You mind?”

“Not at all,” you say, following him to the hose by the bleachers.

He turns it on and starts drinking, and you cross your arms, trying to look anywhere else but at him. Once he puts a shirt back on you’ll be able to act like a normal human being again.

“Do you want some?” he asks, extending the hose out towards you.

You step back so the water doesn’t hit you. “No thanks.”

“What’s wrong? You seem like you’re a million miles away.”

“I’m fine - just tired.” You give him a small smile.

He opens his mouth slightly, as if he’s about to say something but then decides against it, shrugging and taking another sip of water.

You focus your gaze instead on the row of pine trees lining the field, and the way the sun has lowered in the sky. Maybe you’ll go out and sit on the dock with Steph tonight to watch the sunset.

Suddenly, you feel something wet seeping through the toe of your sneaker, and you jerk your head back to face Auston, but he’s still drinking, the hose nowhere near you. You must be imagining things.

You turn your attention back to nature, trying to find shapes in the few puffy clouds that dot the sky above you.

You feel the spray of water tickling your leg. This time, you catch him staring at you out of the corner of his eye. You raise an eyebrow. “Can I help you?”

“I’m not sure what you mean,” he says innocently.

“Uh-huh.”

You turn around again, but this time, you’re still watching him in your peripheral vision. He pretends to drink for a few seconds before flicking the hose up and spraying you. It hits your thigh, the cold water soaking your left side of your shorts instantly.

“That’s it!” You march over to grab the hose from him, but he directs it upwards, hitting you full on in the chest. You shriek. “Auston Matthews, you’re dead!”

He laughs and tries to run away, hose in tow, but you’re faster. You grab the hose, struggling to pry his hands off it. He tries to point it back towards you, but you push forward at just the right moment, and the hose bends back, the stream of water hitting him directly in the face.

His face crumples in shock and he swats the hose away, trying to blink away the water that drips down from his hair into his eyes. You laugh and he opens his eyes, mock glaring at you. “Oh, it’s on.”

He grabs the top part of the hose from you and sprays you in the face. You dodge most of it, but the water still manages to graze the side of your ear. It’s ice cold. You wrestle with him for the hose, both of you spinning around each other like some sort of odd dance.

You take turns chasing one another around and trying to hit the each other with the hose. You’re quite proud of the direct shot you get to his ass, soaking his blue shorts.

“Aw, did someone have an accident?” you tease, looking pointedly at the dark blue patch on his butt.

Auston narrows his eyes, but smiles. “Alright, that’s the last straw. I’ve been going easy on you because I felt bad, but now you’ve just crossed the line.”

“Oh no,” you say sarcastically, holding your hand up to your mouth, pretending to be scared. “I’m terrified.”

“Oh, you should be,” he says, grinning. “Nobody else has made it out alive.”

“Is that so?”

“Uh-huh.” He nods seriously.

“Because I’ve been told I’m pretty scary too.” You saunter up to him slowly, staring at him through your eyelashes, smiling sweetly. Two can play at this game.

You see the confident look slide off his face, replaced with something unreadable. You step up into his personal space and he swallows, never breaking your gaze.

Bravely, you place a finger on his chest. He glances down at it briefly before looking back up at you. His eyes darken. You walk your fingers all the way up to his chin, each movement slow and deliberate. You push his chin up gently with your index finger as you lean in closer.

“You scared?” you breathe against his lips.

He shakes his head. His eyes flicker down to your mouth and back up to your eyes several times.

You smirk. “Well, you should be. You’ve got to pay closer attention.” You lean in like you’re about to kiss him, but what he doesn’t see is your other arm reaching up with the hose at the same time. The water hits him down the back of his neck, and he yelps, jumping away. His face is so shocked and genuinely surprised that you can’t help double over with laughter.

When he recovers, he’s glaring at you. “That wasn’t very nice.”

“Who says I have to play fair?”

“Well, if that’s how you want to play, I can play dirty too.” Your breath catches in your throat.

He walks up to you, hose in hand. You step back nervously, until your back hits the wall of the change room building next to the bleachers. You’re in for it now.

He walks all the way up until he’s mere inches away from you. He’s so close you can feel his breath on your face, cool and minty.

“Is this fair?” He drops the hose and grips onto your hips. His hands, although cold from the water, feel like fire on your skin. You can feel the water from the dropped hose soaking your feet, but at this moment in time, you don’t particularly care.

“Y-yes,” you stammer, trying to calm your racing heart.

“Really?” he says in a low voice. “Is it fair if I do this?” He gently brushes your hair off your neck before bending down and kissing your throat very gently. Your heart goes wild as he continues to kiss you, leaving a trail of soft, open-mouthed kisses all the way up your neck.

He pulls back after grazing your jaw with his lips and looks you in the eye. “Still fair?”

You can barely nod.

“Hmm,” he murmurs. “Why do I feel like that’s a lie?”

“It isn’t,” you say unconvincingly.

He laughs softly. “You sure about that?”

“No,” you answer honestly.

He smiles and tucks your hair behind your ear, just like that first night out on the dock. Then, ever so slowly, he leans in and presses his lips to yours.

He kisses you softly, hesitant at first, waiting for your reaction. When you kiss him back, you feel him relax. His lips part slightly as he deepens the kiss. Your hands come up and knot in his hair, pulling the wet strands gently. He moans softly into your mouth and reaches a hand down to squeeze your waist.

Suddenly, it hits you what’s happening. You pull away abruptly.

Auston opens his eyes and blinks slowly, confused. “What’s wrong?”

“I-” you can’t seem to get the words out. “I can’t. This isn’t…”

Concern flickers across his face. “Why not? Did I do something wrong?”

“No - no, it’s nothing like that.” You turn away from him, dropping his gaze. You don’t want to see the pain fill his eyes. “It’s just that…I can’t…this…” you gesture with your hands wildly. “I have to stop this before it starts.” Auston’s face drops.

You pull away from him, wanting more than anything to stay in his arms, but you know this is the right decision. This will hurt less in the end.

[Part 7]

Why I love Mark, Jack and Ethan so much

So I just wanted to share some thoughts on why I love the guys so much.

As a few of you know, I have some mental health issues and I’ve spent a long time struggling. But I’ve never felt as much love in my life as I have from being part of these communities.

I love Mark, Jack and Ethan because:

They were a distraction when I wanted to hurt myself
They were a motivator to keep fighting when I wanted to give up
They were an inspiration when I decided to keep going
They made me laugh when I was at my lowest moments

They’ve taught me so much and helped me believe that everything will be okay
I love them because they helped me take my life back. They helped me back from the brink.
It’s my birthday in late October. A few months ago, I wasn’t planning to live to see that day. Now I’m making plans to celebrate my birthday and also planning my future.

I’ve watched a number of their old videos, and even though I haven’t been around here for long I’m still so very proud of them. They’re doing big projects and live shows and it’s all so exciting!
And they love us all so much, they’ve told us so many times. They’ve made it very clear that we mean a lot to them, and I hope they know that it goes both ways.

These guys and the people around them mean EVERYTHING to me. Tyler, Amy, Kat, Signe, Robin, Nate and Cristina, Matpat and Steph, Bob and Mandy, Wade and Molly…they are all amazing people and I love all of them. But it’s those three at the top that I love the very most.

Guys, if you see this…thank you for everything. You’ve helped me so much and I hope to do the very best I can while this whole thing lasts.

Love ya, guys xxx

Going to the fair at Halloween was a tradition. You hadn’t been in your hometown for the past couple of years, but this year you had gotten time off work. You were staying with your best friend Steph and her roommate Nichelle, who you had quickly taking a liking to as well.

The three of you had all decided to go to the fair together, mostly for the Haunted House, which never proved to be as scary as they intended it to be. It was always fun to see the teenagers scream and jump.

You were all standing in line for the Haunted House, giggling and chatting about the rude waiter at Steak ‘N Shakes where you’d had dinner.

“Well being an ass is apparently a job requirement in that place,” you snorted, and Steph’s eyes opened wide.

“Oh my God, Y/N. Are you still not over him?” She teased with a smirk on her face, making you punch her shoulder.

“There is nothing to get over. He was an ass to me all the way through high school. Why the hell did you always assume I liked him?” you hissed at her, making her laugh.

“Wait. What am I missing here? Who?” Nichelle looked from you to Steph, and you both answered in unison.

“Jensen Ackles.”

summary: Steph and Damian go to the aquarium. Minor chaos ensues.

So it turned out that “normal days” didn’t exist. That’s how Steph had pitched it to him— Hey, come on we’ll go have fun. You’re ten, and you haven’t been to any of the nice places in the city yet. (Yes, there are nice places. No, the children’s museum doesn’t count. We were on a case.) It’ll be great, just a normal day. I mean, if you ever want to go under cover effectively, you’ll have to learn how to blend in, right?

Normal wasn’t going so well.

It really had been going fabulously at first. Steph pulled up at the manor at noon— exactly on time for once. Damian was still grumpy about the whole deal, but she’d expected that. They went to get lunch at one of Stephanie’s favorite diners, the one that served breakfast until two in the afternoon. Delicious. Damian griped about the decor a bit, but he hadn’t said anything about the food. Totally a good sign. Steph had really enjoyed herself.

After lunch, they went to the aquarium. Steph liked it in there— one of the exhibits was built like a giant glass cave. You walked through a tunnel, and there was water all around you, and you could see the undersides of the stingrays swimming above your head. Damian was fascinated. She could tell. Okay, so he never stopped complaining,— “Blah blah blah something about the league of assassins blah blah I killed a shark like that when I was six—” but he never stopped watching the fish either, so Steph was feeling pretty pleased with herself.

Of course, then it got complicated.

They were walking out of the aquarium. There was this room at the end, with one door leading to the gift shop and another one that went outside. It was kind of like a hallway, decorated with the cute kind of arts and crafts kids make during field trips. When they walked in, it was empty. Then these two guys stepped out from the gift shop.

“Stephanie Brown?”

Right, that wasn’t suspicious at all. “Yes?”

“Arthur Brown’s daughter?”

Ohhhh great, that really wasn’t good. Steph’s dad was kind of a supervillain. He was lame, sure, but sometimes he had powerful friends. Or you know, enemies.

“Yes?”

One of the men pulled a gun out of his coat. “I need you to come with me.”

Well. That answered her question. She looked down at Damian. He was starting to get that look on his face, the one that reminded her of the shark he’d been talking about back in the exhibit. She should probably reign that in while she had the chance.

“Okay, but… can my friend leave?”

Damian glared at her and raised his hands in a “what are you doing?” kind of motion. The gunmen considered it.

“If he goes now, fine.”

Steph hoped Damian was feeling cooperative today. Miracles happen, right?

“Okay, hold on. He doesn’t speak English.”

She turned back to Damian. “Just follow me on this one, deal?”

He looked confused for a few seconds. Maybe he was admiring her Arabic. (It was getting really good, thank you very much.)

“What the hell are you doing?”

“I’m handling the situation. So what are we going to do?”

“What do you mean handling the situation? This isn’t even a situation. This is like, two punches. Maybe three.”

“We’re not attacking them. They know my name.”

“So?”

“So some of us leave the house on a regular basis, and we have these things called ‘secret identities’ to protect.”

“You’re hilarious. I’m punching them.”

“No, you’re not.” Stephanie threw a glance back at the gunmen. They were starting to look suspicious.  “Sorry, I have to explain…”

“Get him out of here now.”

“Yeah I’m— okay seriously leave.”

“What?”

“Yes.”

“No way.”

“Yes way, child, go now.”

“Look, if they know your father, don’t you think they already know about the night job thing? We should just attack them.”

“If they knew about the ‘night job thing’  don’t you think they would be pointing something bigger than a gun at me? “

“Well with your particular reputation, I kind of doubt it.”

“See if I ever take you anywhere nice again. Hold on, ignore this next bit— Damian, just go! Leave now!

“You call that acting?”

“Seriously, you’re criticizing me? I’m about to get shot! You could try and look a little more upset.”

“Alright, that’s enough. If he’s not out of here in three seconds—“

“I’m trying, I’m trying! Just— Damian, come on. Go get Dick or Bruce or whoever. I don’t care. You leave. I go with them. Come back with a batman. Okay?”

“How about I just go change?”

“Right, because that isn’t shady at all. Pint-sized Arab kid shows up in a yellow… um…?

“Cape?”

“Yeah, that. Pint-sized Arab kid in a yellow cape five minutes after the other one walks out the door. Completely innocent.”

“So just let me take them now.”

“I told you no.”

“Or what?”

“Or I’m calling Tim. And I’m telling him about the camera you put in his room yesterday.”

Damian glared at her. “How do you even know about that?”

It took a lot of effort not to smile. “Leave.”

“Fine,” he snapped, and he walked out the door. The man with the gun gestured her towards the gift shop.

“I’m going. No need to point that thing at me… Uh, where are we headed? Because, dunno if you’ve heard this, my dad’s actually in Arkhman right now, so…”

“Shut up.”

“Okay then.” No-gun man held open the door. Steph stepped through.

“There’s a van out back. You’re going to get in it.”

“Whatever you say, I guess.” They passed through the shop. The van was parked right outside the door— just your typical large, white kidnapper car. Real creative.

No-gun man offered her a hand. Perfect gentleman, this one. Steph took it and climbed in the back. They shut the doors behind her.

So how long would it take a ten year old ninja to find a parental figure? Stephanie figured maybe fifteen minutes. Twenty, tops? It wasn’t like she was in a huge rush or anything, but she actually did have a french paper to write, and the vehicle was in motion.  Steph sat on the floor.

On the plus size, the last time something like this had happened, she’d been wearing a floor length dress. The jeans were an improvement. She’d been with Tim that time— really, she should just stop taking Waynes out in public. That was probably the simple solution. Speaking of, any minute now Damian. Any minute would be good.

Well. Guess there was nothing to do but wait it out. Stephanie took out the pen she’d stolen from the gift shop (decorated with dolphins) and started poking a hole through the metal. It didn’t take very long. It was half-rusted anyway. She put her eyes up to the hole.

Oh, they were moving east. That was good: closer to the Bunker. Steph hummed to herself. This shouldn’t take much longer. She stuck her pen through the gap and carved out a message— “Yo over here.”

That ought to take care of it. Steph lay back on the floor, staring at the ceiling, waiting for the inevitable—

THUMP

Whoops, there it was—“It” being a large dent in the roof of the van. The yelling started a few seconds later. Stephanie rolled to the left as the van swerved erratically, bumping some kind of building. She stuck her head out of the hole she’d made long enough to see the gentleman kidnapper get thrown from the shotgun seat. Then another head poked out the window, this one wearing a cowl.

“Everything okay?” Dick yelled back at her. She knew it was Dick because he was grinning excitedly.

“Um, yeah? Quick question? Who’s driving?”

“He’s kind of pissed at you. Something about blackmail?”

“Yeah, that rings a bell. So are we done here?”

“Yep. Pulling over now.”

The van skidded to a stop so hard that Stephanie was yanked back inside the car, across the floor, and into the other wall. She peeled her head off the metal and sighed.

“Was that really necessary?”

The doors swung open to reveal an extremely grumpy pre-teen in a cape. He mock-bowed at her and gestured towards Dick, who was coming up the side.

“A batman, your majesty. As you requested.”

Dick nudged him out of the way. “Chill.” He offered Steph an arm.

“So is there anyone left I can punch, or…?”

Dick grimaced. “Nobody conscious. Sorry.” He leaned in closer. “So what do you have on Damian? ‘Cause honestly, I would love to know.”

Steph shook her head. “Nice try.” She was still mad at Tim, so the camera could stay for at least a couple of days.

“Worth a shot,” he muttered. Damian rolled his eyes.

“Great day,” he told her. “Very normal. So glad I finally got to experience the civilian life.”

“Oh, come on, you had fun. Admit it.”

“I’m pretty sure I’ve already told you that I don’t do fun. That was not fun. Except for the part where I got to kick a petty criminal through a window.”

“It’s a start, I guess,” Stephanie groaned, massaging her head. “Want to do it again next week?”

“No,” Damian said. He started to walk away. “Maybe. I can’t guarantee I’ll be available.”

“Uh huh. I’ll call your people.”

He kept walking. Dick nodded at her appreciatively. “Nice. I think you got him hooked.”

“Hell yeah,” she told him. “See you next week.”

Wash’s Meandering Character Alignment

Wash has one of the most interesting character arcs out of any of the RvB characters. He’s certainly come a long way from his first chronological appearance, let alone from when we were first introduced to him in Recovery One!

Since I’m a D&D nerd, I thought it’d be a lot of fun to examine Wash’s character development through the lens of D&D’s character alignment system. He moves around quite a bit, all things considered, at least in my opinion!

(Here’s a handy chart for reference) x

As always, these are just my opinion. You are free to disagree with me. I hardly consider myself to be the ultimate authority on Agent Washington. This is just my own interpretation of Wash and his behaviors.

So! Wash during Project Freelancer is lawful neutral. What? I hear many of you say. But Wash is so nice! Yes. He might be. But good ≠ nice. We hear Wash express a great deal of concerns over the course of Seasons 9-10 (flashback), yes. But… they’re almost always concern about the rules. (Continues below the cut because I don’t want to flood your dashes, and I get long-winded.)

anonymous asked:

hey! I want to get into the batfam stuff, but I'm not sure how? could you possibly help me out and tell me how to get into it? thanks in advance if you can!

I kind of fell into the batfam thanks to Young Justice. It reminded me of how much I loved watching B:tas as a kid and I turned to the comics to see what was going on with Batman these days. This was right before the New 52 launch, so at the recommendation of the guys at my local comic shop, I looked into the freshly released Son of Batman series and completely fell for the Dick/Dami dynamic.

I also watched Under the Red Hood and had my heart ripped out of my chest.

My advice is to follow the titles that feature more of the batfam:

- Batman & Robin (Dick and Damian’s run…as well as the new one)
- Batgirl (with Steph)
- Robin Wars (a really good chance to see all the bros interacting)
- Under the Red Hood (it’s sad, but it gives you a good look at Jason’s backstory and why he’s the outsider of the family)
- the Batman Hush storyline

I know there are more titles out there with more interactions, so I say just keep your eyes open for which comic screen shots come across your dash and if you find them intriguing, make a note to look the comic up.

I don’t really follow any of the comics anymore due to lack of time and funds, but I know there are places online where you can read them for free (friends, can someone please share a link to such a place?).

And on a shameless promotion plug, I am selling quite a few titles that involve the batfam here, if you (or anyone else) are interested :)

Age Gap (BVS)
