feuer-der-holle  asked:

50 sasusaku! Yayy for hopefully reading something by you again!

50 - going through a divorce au

“You’re making a mistake.”

His pen paused on the ink-printed page. Lips mulling slightly, Sasuke exhaled a slow breath before looking up to his father’s figure, finding him standing calmly by the frame of his office door. He looked at him steadily.

“Maybe in your eyes, father,” he finally replied, returning his attention to the finalizing papers at hand.

“This will change things for the company, Sasuke. If you end this marriage with the Hyuuga girl, you’re not just going to risk its future, you’re going to be throwing all your responsibilities away.”

His fingers tightened around the pen, mouth thinning. Taking care not to let too much anger seep into his tone, Sasuke shot back, “The responsibilities you put onto me as a child. I never wanted any of this. The only reason I went along with all this was so that one day you would see me for who I am and you would stop projecting the hopes you had for Itachi onto me.”

His father’s brows furrowed at that, but he kept his silence. Sasuke fought the urge to grit his teeth.

“I am not Itachi, father. I will never be able to do the things he wanted to do—the things you spent so much time training him for. I can’t—I can’t become the son that you lost.”

He swallowed tightly afterwards, eyes trained so diligently on his father’s ever-collected figure. He never liked to bring up Itachi’s death to him, not when he still remembered with acutely painful detail how his father had sobbed in the privacy of his study the night the news came to them. To this day, Sasuke had still never told him what he’d seen.

Then, his father’s hand curled, and his heart quickened. With vigilant eyes, Sasuke watched the man advance, glancing composedly around the office. His grip tightened again when his father’s gaze landed deliberately on a picture of a pretty pink-haired doctor sitting on his desk.

“Is this because of her?” he asked, tone smooth and bland—and tinged with something he didn’t like.

“Sakura is part of it, but she isn’t the one you need to blame. I’m the one who came to this decision. Sakura only helped me see the truth in what I truly wanted from my life. And she isn’t the only one.”

“Uzumaki—who the Hyuugas blame for seducing your wife.”

Ex-wife, whom I never loved, Sasuke corrects in his mind, but neglects to say. “Yes.”

“And that professor you’re so often seen with. Hatake, I believe.”

“Him, too.”

His father fixed him for a while, before leting out a long breath, so languid and quiet. It almost made him sound resigned, Sasuke realized, brows furrowing warily.

Then: “If that is truly what you want, Sasuke, then I will not stop you.”

Sasuke’s jaw slackened, shock rippling through him with enough force to leave him speechless, breathless. Mind spinning, he looked at his father with dazed, slightly widened eyes, noting the compliant acceptance in his features, faint traces of paternal fondness in his eyes and… an apology.

(for what he’d done, for never realizing the wishes of his remaining son’s heart. for trying to make him into someone he never could be.)

Sasuke’s throat grew tight. He took a moment to steady his thoughts.

Then, in one swift move, he straightened his figure and bowed to his father, lingering with great regard. “Thank you, father.”

He only stood up again when the sound of the door shutting echoed through his office, signaling his father’s exit. A faint smile growing to his lips, Sasuke took his seat once more, and finalized his divorce with one swift stroke of his pen.

Finally free, he thought, gaze settling fondly on the smiling picture of the only woman who ever had his heart. Feeling it rush with warmth, he reached for his phone and tapped swiftly on the screen until he found the right number, pressing on it.

He only had to wait two rings before she finally picked up.

“Hey,” he said. “It’s done. Can I see you tonight?”

Sakura giggled in reply. “Of course, Sasuke-kun. Pick me up at eight?”

Sasuke’s lips twitched wider. “It’s a date.”

“It’s a date!” He could practically hear her smile. “I’ll see you later, Sasuke-kun.”

His eyes softened. “See you later, Sakura.”

also one of my fave things about this phone call scene is how at first vilde looks annoyed and all serious but at the end she’s laughing so hard. and it’s so great to see her like that because?? she always takes everything so seriously and it’s so rare to see her just enjoy the moment and not overthink everything and letting loose but that’s what she’s doing here? just laughing because her friend is so hilarious and that’s all she’s thinking of at that moment

“May the Maker bring us victory, or nothing else matters.”

So I got a message about an Anders box, and since he’d been on my list for a while (and I’d been putting him off) I decided he’d be an interesting challenge. I started out, as I often do, with a few ideas. The first: the box needed a cat. The second: I wanted the box to reflect all of Anders, both his strengths and flaws. I spent a lot of time brushing up on my Anders knowledge, and I feel like people usually pin him as flawless or as a terrible guy, and I wanted to show that it’s not that simple. So, I added white and black candles to represent duality in a complicated character, and of course, I got this vintage bronze cat as my “Ser Pounce.”  Can’t be all serious, you know.

Okay, so I will start with the potions. First potion on the left is to represent hopelessness in Anders’ life: being sent off to the circle, foiled escape attempts, losing Karl. It contains black salt, ash and smoke, plus a flower for hope. 2nd, Ram’s head for Justice, and 3rd, a potion for Anders as a protector of the weak. In DA2, a light leads people to his clinic. He heals with no questions asked and offers sanctuary to those he heals. His reaction to Hawke first visiting the clinic shows exactly how he feels about the people he looks after and what he’s willing to sacrifice for them. There’s olive leaves, coyote tooth, salt, rosemary and white rope for protection and refuge. ↓

Next! The big potion on the left represents Anders as a Warden and the “war, victory” part of their motto. It represents living a difficult life and not having anything handed to him, especially after Justice. It has mugwort, black feathers, thorns, wax, tobacco leaves, cloves, and is sealed with the Grey Warden signet. The second short and stout little potion contains hibiscus flowers for passion and dedication to a cause, aka mage rights. The 3rd contains salt , sage, and a red flower along with white wax for the part of Anders, however small, that wants a peaceful life with Hawke. It’s topped with a quartz castle (building castles out of air? haha). ↓

Next, tiny bottle on the left contains jasmine, a little mugwort, rosemary and salt for sharing of the soul, being trapped in memory, and losing oneself to an outside force. 2nd, an amber bottle with roses, dahlia flowers for trust and betrayal, both Anders losing some of his mind to Justice and Ander’s deception of Hawke. Third, tiny potion contains delphinium for “ardent devotion or attachment” which I think Anders displays in a lot of ways for Hawke. Next, a smoky quartz point for grounding, protection, and removing negative energy. ↓

That’s it for the potions! Next, the crystals. I chose a large apophyllite cluster, a blue aura quartz point, a small pyrite chunk, tumbled bloodstone, labradorite and blue aventurine. Apophyllite represents a constant connection with the spiritual world, which I definitely connected to Anders. The aqua aura quartz I used as both a stand in for lyrium and a connection to Justice. Pyrite is a stone to enhance will and encourage personal growth. Bloodstone is for courage and determination, labradorite is a stone of transformation and magic - and blue aventurine symbolises gaining the power to empower change when the current reality isn’t working. ↓

Finally, I added tiny leather-bound books for Anders’ manifestos, a wrapped bone to represent a trapped spirit, a coin, and Justice’s dictionary entry. There are red aventurine pebbles poured into the bottom of the box to represent conflict and blood from the mage/templar war. There’s also a satchet in the box containing herbs for strength and power + magic and feathers for Anders’ renegade coat.

I painted the quote at the beginning on the sides of the box and the Kirkwall/Gallows’ symbol in the inside lid, and with that, I was done!

I had a great time making this box and gained a lot of appreciation for Anders’ character. He’s not as two-dimensional as many people make him out to be, and I’m glad I got to learn about him a little bit as I worked!

Anders has been sold, but message me if you have any inquiries about boxes (Dragon Age or otherwise) or any questions about Anders. My Etsy store is HERE. Right now customs are closed until 2017. Thanks for reading!

Tina shocks Newt with her incredible ability to play the piano. He in turn, surprises her with his smooth singing. They form a private band of sorts. Whenever Newt hears Tina tap away at her piano, he sneaks in to drop a few notes of his own, and when she hears him humming, she runs to that piano like an excited kneazle. At first they start off all smooth and serious but once she goes a bit off key to throw him off, or his voice breaks by accident, it turns into laughter and gibberish from there. No matter which way they start their performances, they always end with peals of hysteric laughter.

Oh, and because Tina is the pinnacle of vintage NY pop culture, their specialty is jazz.

I wish everyone of you a blessed 2017, may all your wishes be granted and everyone be healthy!

So I’ve been thinking about this a lot for the last couple of weeks but I decided that it was time to do a post about it. Here we go again, Raquel being all emotional but there’s also something more serious I’ll be mentioning.

First, I want to write out my gratitude to everyone on here who has been supporting me non-stop for the last 4 months without hesitation. A new year has started and I remember last year around this time, I told myself to do what I always wanted to do. To get out of my shell and write something, see if it’s really something for me and make the experience. I didn’t have the guts to do so until the end of summer and the amount of feedback and support I’ve been getting since then is just unbelievable.

The thing that triggered me to start this blog was a failure in my university class. It was my first semester and it was in my writing class. In high school my English teacher used to always compliment my writing style, saying how fluent I sounded which strengthened my thought on maybe starting to write outside of class as well. I decided to study American Studies because I enjoyed the English language so much, including expressing myself in it. But when I failed that class in my first semester and had to retake that exam, all my confidence was gone. My faith in myself was gone and I wanted to quit. Then I thought to myself “You know, you still have this blog you only use to read. Why don’t you write something on there and see how people react? If you’re really that bad, you’ll get the confirmation there and you can stop writing.” I asked people on here for feedback, and speaking truthfully - it was one of the best decisions I made in 2016. I may not be the best writer or the most fluent one, hell I don’t even know enough words to be close to fluent, but that’s okay. I’m still learning and still growing. I’m still studying and learning new things. I know that and it’s okay for me. Knowing that even though I’m not one of the bests, I still have people who support me and enjoy my works, makes it all worth it.

Now, after telling you so much that most of you probably didn’t even want to know, here comes the part that is actually important for those who read my works.

As some of you might know, I’m a university student (as mentioned above). I love writing with all my heart that’s why I created this blog and spend most of my summer break on here. But now my semester is coming to an end and in order to pass my classes, I need to focus more on my studies. In my country you have to take two subjects at once, a major and a minor. I have two languages as my subjects which I have to study a lot for - not only the language itself but also the history and culture and everything that is involved. What I’m trying to say is that I’ll be going on a short break from now on until mid February, when my exams are over. These exams are really important to me so I really need to focus on that in order to pass them.

Recently I have been getting more requests again and I want you to know that I’ll respond to them after my exams are over. Please don’t think I won’t answer them because I will as soon as I have more time. I love reading your messages in my inbox, whether if it’s a request or a note. It lets me interact with you guys and I’m really grateful for that. (this is me telling you not to stop just because i’m on a break)

Now, I’m probably not going to be gone completely. I might reblog things here and there or check if someone tagged me somewhere or left something in my inbox. But I won’t be constantly active anymore until mid February. After that I’m all yours again ♡

I don’t know how many people are actually going to read this and care but for those who do, I hope you understand.

I love you guys, I love Bangtan and I love writing so this is really just a one-month break. I’ll be back sooner than you think and annoy you with my usual self.

How to destroy people who read the INTJ description and took it a tad too seriously

I’m not saying they’re mistyped - they very well might be INTJs - but instead of just, you know, being the person they already are like a sane and healthy INTJ, they decided to become some ridiculous stereotype to ensure everyone knows they are an INTJ. And they deserve to be destroyed.

Subtype 1. Acts like a cartoon villain. Says things like “my plan is almost complete!” and does an evil laugh and spins around in blinged-out office chairs petting cats. If they are a teenager, ignore this phase. Act mildly condescending, like an exhausted parent trying to get a toddler to do things (eg: “yes honey, I know you’re the most evil, now eat the broccoli tree because deforestation is evil!”). If they are an adult, laugh in their face and leave. They have probably already lost their job and have no friends at this point so just wait until they starve.

Subtype 2. “I’m just being honest.” Claims to lack feelings. Acts like being constantly insulting to people who can ‘handle it’ is a complement and an honor. Does not understand that truthfulness and tact can coexist, or that there’s a time for bluntness and a time to keep your mouth shut. You should probably stab them and say “true friends stab you in the front.” They’ll appreciate it.

Subtype 3. Thinks Ni makes them psychic. Like subtype 1, just be super condescending. Miss Cleo jokes and holding up a deck of cards and asking them to predict the cards repeatedly and taunting them whenever they get one wrong (or if they refuse) until they melt down are your best methods.

Subtype 4. Thinks Ni and Te automatically grants them intelligence. If you can, just outsmart them in as public a way as possible. Best them at literally anything that requires a brain. Eg: chess tournaments, spelling bees, becoming class validictorian, solving a difficult puzzle. They will experience such intense cognitive dissonance that they may in fact explode. On the other hand sometimes these people are in fact intelligent, just also insufferable. In that case, either enlist another genius and have them do the dirty work of besting that INTJ, or  just go for the inferior Se and make them look as ridiculous as possible.

Fiend Matador

In Spanish culture, a Torero, also known as a Matador de Toros, is a performer of the art of bullfighting and must have great skills in agility, grace and co-ordination in order to win the battle. The sport is often divided into three parts that all pose a serious risk to humans.

The first round known as ‘Tercio de Varas’ is when a Matador must enter the ring, armed with only a cape and cover the bull’s face as it charges at him. Afterwards two other men will enter the ring with lances and spike the bull in order to weaken it.

In  the second round, ‘Tercio de Banderillas’ the two men will spear the bull with more lances while the Matador will use his cape to tire the bull out, while it slowly loses blood. Then in the last round, referred to as ‘Tercio de Muerte’ the Matador comes into the ring with only a red cloak and a sword. Using the cloak to enrage the bull, he attempts to stab it as it charges past him. If he is successful and the bull dies, he has won.

When in the ring, a Matador’s life is seriously threatened. As of the current time, over five hundred and thirty three Matadors have lost their life whilst bullfighting.

Interview: Lisa

Today we’re joined by Lisa. Lisa is a phenomenal hobbyist who loves to draw and take pictures. Her photography is beautiful, showing everyday life and various scenes she comes across. For drawing, Lisa mostly does illustration. She works with both digital and traditional medium. Lisa is an incredibly enthusiastic artist with a creative soul, as you’ll soon read. My thanks to her for taking the time to participate in this interview.

Please, tell us about your art.

I’m someone with a lot of hobbies who takes some of them a tad too serious. First of all I draw a lot on paper and digitally but I’ve experimented with acrylics, watercolor, oil paint, clay and probably a lot more things. I tend to stay with illustration though, because, well, it’s in my comfort zone. And then there’s the photography thing. I try to take my camera anywhere I can and usually end up taking lots of photos, sometimes even with good result. I’m also mostly interested in street photography. I also enjoy learning about the technical aspects of optics and photography.

What inspires you?

For photography of course other photographers (on Flickr, Instagram etc.) but also the places I go to and the architecture of the city I’m visiting that day, although I don’t feel like I have the right lens for architectural photography though. (Lenses are insanely expensive, did you know that?)

As for my art, well, other artists of course! Following a bunch of artists (pros or not) has helped me grow a LOT. Also seeing art from my friends all the time motivated me because it made me want to improve.

What got you interested in your field?  Have you always wanted to be an artist?

I was in kindergarten and in class, minding my own business and enjoying myself with a coloring book when I overheard some girls say to each other that I was bad at coloring. I was so upset that from that day on I decided to practice drawing and I basically never stopped. (don’t worry though, I take criticism well these days) There was a period of a year or so that I was determined to go to art school as well, but my fear of financial instability eventually creeped in and I convinced myself to choose another career.

I only ever started photography when I decided to buy a DSLR because some of my high school friends had one at that time (it was also a trend I believe). But being extremely competitive by nature when it comes to these things, I wanted to make sure I was better at it than them so I learned about photography theory for two months before finally buying the camera. (I had some money saved up from my job, luckily)

Do you have any kind of special or unique signature, symbol, or feature you include in your work that you’d be willing to reveal?

I don’t think I have any to be honest!

What advice would you give young aspiring artists?

Keep doing what you love and don’t beat yourself up over your mistakes. You will improve and learn new things your whole life which is something you should be excited about. Treat art like a lifelong adventure! :)

Where on the spectrum do you identify?

I’m an asexual and that’s all I know. I guess I’ve had crushes on all kinds of people but I never wanted it to get serious. (commitment issues, probably? : ))

Have you encountered any kind of ace prejudice or ignorance in your field?  If so, how do you handle it?

Well I wouldn’t know since most people don’t know. Or rather: I talked about it to some of my friends but some of them don’t seem to take it serious at all or don’t even believe it exist. I even have one friend who mocked me publicly a few times which was very painful. She is still very dear to me though, but it kind of made me wary. I’m not planning on ever speaking ‘irl’ about my asexuality again because I’m uncomfortable with it now. It’s just a tiny inconvenience in my life and we all have to live with those, right?

What’s the most common misconception about asexuality that you’ve encountered?

That asexuality is just a medical issue that should be able to get fixed with the right treatment.

What advice would you give to any asexual individuals out there who might be struggling with their orientation?

Take your time with it I guess! I’m still struggling with it myself so I wouldn’t know what else to say other than, well, there’s more people out there going through the same thing so you’re not alone!

Finally, where can people find out more about your work?

I post my photography (and sometimes some stupid sketches) on my Instagram:

Thank you, Lisa, for participating in this interview and this project. It’s very much appreciated.

candygrahm  asked:

I can't remember if I asked this already but has anyone delved into why Soldier is so sweet on Medic yet? I haven't seen much discussion. I ask because while you were gone I went on a serious Solly binge. Makin' sfms and all that. :3

At first, Soldier didn’t like Medic one bit, in all honesty. He was German, and to Soldier, German meant enemy, because let’s be honest, Solly likes to jump to untrue conclusions, especially when they’re related to wars. But the more time he spent with him in battle, the more he realized he respected him.

IT’s a well knows fact that Soldier loves and respects the military, and MEdic has a very militant personality. He is composed, organized, impersonal, and productive. He’s efficient and for how dignified he is, he has a violent nature. Everything Soldier respected about the military and about war, he saw in Medic, and thus, the sweetness began.
