So for the past few hours all the lovely angels from the discord chat have been bouncing all our thoughts and theories around Until @newlevelofdesperate and I actually ended up with a pretty realistic theory as to how all this shit is really going to go down yo
So get yourselves a nice cup of tea and settle in because this gets looooong
Mikael, Even and Yousef –
It’s pretty evident that whatever went down in Bakka involved all three of these guys. But I feel like one of the most reasonable explanations here is that Mikael, Yousef and Even were friends. Really good friends. Possibly they knew each other since middle school (like Jonas and Isak) but then Yousef and Mikael began to become distant to Even and instead began to hung out with the balloon squad. Boys who are also involved in Islam. This, we then feel may have prompted Even to learn the Quran, as a desperate attempt to cling onto the friends he could only fear of losing. Of not wanting to be alone.
We then feel like this led him to do something during his mania that ostracised him completely from his school and everyone he knew. We can see from the youtube video that the balloon squad reacted to Even’s name like it was nothing but a joke and an exciting story to tell, which is how we feel everyone around Even treated it. While Mikael and Yousef didn’t have anything to do with the incident or with how people treated Even afterwards, they also didn’t do anything to help Even during the times he needed them either. And we think that is what is eating them both up. The guilt that they weren’t the kind of friends Even needed and left him at a time where he needed them more than ever. Yousef also seems a hell of a lot more emotionally affected by whatever Even did at Bakka, which is why we believe that Evens Bakka story is a lot more directed at Yousef than Mikael who we originally focused on in association with Even’s history. And this is why Yousef’s reaction to Even’s name in the youtube video was a lot more emotional than Mikaels and the boys (who weren’t really emotionally attached at all)
But then of course….what did he do?
Russbuss has always been an important factor to Sana and is continuing to have an importance in her season and her need to prove that she can belong in both worlds, the one with her faith, and the one where she can participate in Norwegian culture and still be Sana. We feel like this could become a problem for her later on. Perhaps the girls eventually succumb to the russbuss previously known as Pepsi Max’s bus. And Sana is not allowed to join because of her faith.
This then made us think that maybe Even’s story connects with his russbuss too. Maybe russbuss is a much bigger theme than we ever thought. The thought came up that perhaps Even wanted to join the russ with his friends Mikael and Yousef, but wasn’t allowed because he isn’t muslim. Maybe that prompted him to learn the quaran? And maybe that is what led him to do something during his mania. Something to the buss perhaps? Just like Sana who is having trouble being a part of a russ because she’s muslim….maybe Even couldn’t join because he wasn’t? Maybe Even wanted so desperately to understand his friends and their religion but no one ever let him? And in doing so, they also failed to understand Even. It was also brought up in the discord chat that Even doesn’t seem like the russbuss type which we agree with, but it makes a lot of sense that Even would do anything to hang onto his friends and the people who he could always rely on (we have seen him do this with Sonja in s3) and when those things didn’t work, the concept of him saying, writing or doing things connected to this struggle during his mania makes even more sense. And to connect the current russbuss drama with the old would be an interesting reflection on both characters and stories.
Even and Sana Mirror
@heltchill brought up this idea that Even may actually be Sana’s mirror, which prompted another discussion on this theory.
We already talked about Even who could have experienced the same challenges that Sana might face this season with the russbus. While Even may have been left out for not being a Muslim , people keep reminding Sana that she doesn’t fit into the concept of the russbus. Mari’s reaction to Sana being a part of the russbuss was very surprised and a little offputting, while Sara made a point of referring herself and her group as superior because they are “normal Norwegian party girls” a comment that fuelled Sana to truly make this russbuss work. And then of course there is Elias, who warned Sana that she shouldn’t be on a russbus because she is a muslim girl. Yousefs reaction here is interesting as he seems annoyed by Elias’s words and he sends Sana a message later on where he encourages her to go for the russbus. This could also be a hint, that Yousef still feels guilty about Even and doesn’t want Sana (or anyone) else to face the kind of exclusion that Even may have faced. We also had a thought that maybe the reason this season parallels evak so much is because Even is actually Sana’s mirror? Julie wants us to feel all of the Even emotions again because his story actually mirrors Sana’s so much, we just need to pay attention to the signs. Maybe.
In regards to the trailer: The trailer made us all assume that the series of events happens in an order, because it was in slow motion each piece of the puzzle fell one at a time. But in reality they all happened extremely fast all at once like a domino effect. So instead of waiting for each story to fall, we should be expecting them all to fall at once. The last episode proves this, by each clip being the start of a separate storyline. Yousana, Noorhell mystery + Vilde and Magnus, Evak and Bakka story, and then the russbuss. So many storylines are beginning at once because when they all begin to turn into chaos that will happen at once too, with Sana standing in the middle trying to fix the chaos she instigated. The trailer we feel like could also be an indication of Even as Sana’s mirror as the chaos starts with her and ends with Even, but when reversed (which is how it was released) it starts with Even and ends with Sana. Which essentially means that Sana is on one side of the chain with Even on the other….just like a mirror. And thus he is probably the actual beginning of all the drama and not Noora, even though that is who we all have our eyes on at the moment, as she is brewing to a boil before our eyes. But then again it is all going to fallout simultaneously anyway.
I also wonder if Mikael’s part in this is maybe that he struggled to hold onto both worlds just like Sana may find difficult this season. Perhaps he wanted to connect deeper with people who share his faith while still being friends with Even? But when doing so he just ended up hurting Even and himself and maybe that will be his part in Sana’s story? Maybe Mikael will help her understand the balance she needs to have and the mistakes she could make.
As the theme misunderstood fits to pretty much everyone, this theme seems particularly fitting to not just Sana but also Even. We actually saw how much he was misunderstood back in S3 when he became manic. Its not unrealistic that he was misunderstood back at Bakka when he had an episode and those misunderstandings are coming back to him in this season probably at the same time as Sana is facing her challenges. We feel like the biggest theme here is that Sana continuously feels misunderstood, not just by people who don’t know her, but also by those who are meant to. And maybe the point is that we all want to be understood but how can anyone understand us if we don’t give them the chance and they aren’t willing to? Maybe the answer to find balance between two worlds is if one world can become keen to learn the other, while the other world reaches out and gives them the material to. Even was repeatedly misunderstood last season and possibly also at Bakka because he never gave anyone the chance to know him. To learn, he already had decided that no one could or would. And we think this mirrors exactly what Sana is doing here. We are all upset because the girls continue to say and do things that don’t exactly take her faith in consideration, but not once does Sana correct them. She never encourages them to know her and understand her, she has just assumed that it’s a lost course. So maybe this season will teach her and us that understanding is a two way street, and to find it you have to first let yourself to finally be open to becoming truly understood.
How to make a Disney Channel show (aka, Disney is obsessed with using the same set of characters over and over again)
Many people feel the need to have a really smart character. It’s important that the girls look flawless, but the guys should look like as much of a geek as possible.
To make the above character look smarter, you can add a dumb character. Make sure to give them a very confused facial expression as often as possible, and let them ask questions that should be obvious for someone their age.
You’ll always need a guy who’s character relies for about 50 % on their looks. Why else would anyone watch the show?
To match the hot guys, you’ll need a girl who is so flawless, you begin to feel like they can’t possibly be real.
The audience needs someone to laugh at, right? This is where you add either a character who is incapable of understanding the word “no” or a character who is just considered a “loser” by most people. And try not to give them too much character development.
But to keep the smart person from seeming boring, we need the rebel friends who doesn’t care about grades, and who always get’s their friend in trouble. But don’t worry, you can always fix it up with a sappy apologizing scene at the end.
There has to be some kind of official antagonist. My suggestion, is you go with Matteus Ward, or at least someone who looks like him. Or you can go with a stereotypical blonde girl.
Every show needs grownups. Keep them there for, comic relief, embaressing the kids, being protective, giving deep motivational speeches and cry upon realizing that their kid’s are growing up.
He’s actually the butler
Not a parents. He’s their sensei.
Not a parent. He’s an uncle.
Add a couple of cute kids and animals
Or if everything fails, just throw in a bunch of boyfriends and girlfriends that we’re all gonna forget anyway.
(A/n): lmao so I got all these requests at 11:30 pm yesterday, my time. So that is my one and only excuse for not getting them up the day of.
49. ‘There is only one bed.’ 61. ‘I think we’re lost.’ 98. ‘Forever.’ with Tom Holland if it’s not too much trouble?
49. There is only one bed.
61. I think we’re lost.
Warnings: So like I’m sure there is swearing in here somewhere.
“I think we’re lost”
Tom let out an unmistakable groan of dissatisfaction as (Y/n) mused him with her comments.
Wandering through a dense boreal forest could get anyone mixed up. Tom was, in particular, really susceptible to confusion; whether he cared enough to admit it or not. (Y/n) wasn’t totally innocent either, she was dumb enough to follow him.
“So like, the designated shooting tarmac should be near by. We couldn’t have gone that far.” she mused again, squaring her surroundings. “If it wasn’t so boring, we wouldn’t have gone at all..”
“I know that! I know where we are,” Tom sputtered and did a full three sixty rotation “have a little faith.”
(Y/n)’s gaze slipped to her shoes, an acorn touching the head of her sneaker. She bent forward and swiped it into her hand, chucking it at the brunette brit.
It hit him in the ear.
“What the bloody was that for?” he laughed.
“It was for I don’t know if you are listening to yourself, but you sound nuts, Tom.” (Y/n) snickered.
Tom threw the acorn right back and it hit the tree directly behind the girl. Tom laughed again.
“I saw that tree six minutes ago, he told me his name was Oxford.” he breathed.
(Y/n) turned to view the tree but was instead drew attention to a shiny trailer hiding in the background “Bullshit.” she sighed.
“No, that’s really what he told me.” Tom insisted.
“Not that,” the (h/c) haired girl chuckled “That’s Seb’s trailer. You didn’t get us lost after all.”
She began to hike up to the large filming setup.
“I didn’t lose us, I’m British! I know things!” Tom called, chasing after (Y/n).
“So you didn’t sneak off to have sex?” Anthony asked.
“Not this time.” Tom joked, and winked back at him.
(Y/n) slapped both of their arms, and snatched Tom’s wrist.
“I hate you. We have a scene to shoot, you twit.” she demanded, gearing away from Anthony.
“For how long will you hate me this time?” Tom drawled, his accent wrapping around his words soundly. He began to snicker at her abstract cuteness.
“Oo, no longer than last time.” he confirmed, throwing his head back as he let himself be pulled along the grass. He was able to see Anthony again.
He mouthed “get some” to Tom.
(Y/n) retaliated with a yell of “Close your mouth, you flightless bastard.”
❆ ❆ ❆
“I’m..” (Y/n) sighed and rolled her neck, pawing at Tom’s hand “…really tired.”
“I second that.” Tommy huffed, lacing together their different sized hands.
It was only midday and the pair of bestfriend’s have already filmed thirty nine different scenes. Now, they didn’t have to film for another two and a half hours.
“Let’s nap in my trailer, love?” Tom suggested. The girl shrugged in return, followed by a quaint nod of her head.
As they led themselves to Tom’s personal trailer, it became apparent to (Y/n) that it was built for one person.
“Tommy,” she began when they stepped into the confinement of smaller living space “there is only one bed…” and she let her voice wander off.
Tom untied their hands and instead pulled his arms around (Y/n) shoulders. He pushed them both forward, waddling to the bed.
“You hate me anyway, remember? So don’t make it awkward.” he mused.
The girl let loose a brisk laugh “I don’t hate you.” she confirmed.
Tom spun them both and tumbled to the bed’s cushion surface.
“I could probably sleep on the couch, Tommy.” (Y/n) mused.
“Now that is the dumbest thing I’ve heard all day- and I talked with Robert.” Tom scoffed. He placed his chin upon (Y/n)’s head and tightened his arms around her shoulders.
“What if I mayb–”
“That’s not gunna’ work.” Tom mumbled.
“You’re so warm, and I like it too much.”
(A/N): wowowow I did it. This is cute as shit, gosh darn. I impress myself.
I would like to note that all of Joaquin’s family history in this has been completely made up by me and is complete headcanon.
“Kev, are you sure about this?” Joaquin asked nervously, shifting from one foot to the other. He was standing outside of Kevin’s dad’s truck which was parked in Kevin’s driveway. He could feel sweat growing on the back of his neck, underneath the collared shirt Kevin had insisted he wore. “I’m just, well, I’m not really the kinda boy that people bring home to meet their parents. And, your dad is a cop.” It wasn’t that Joaquin didn’t want to formally meet Mr. Keller, in fact, it was exactly the opposite. Joaquin wanted everyone to know that he was Kevin’s boyfriend. He wanted to be Kevin’s official boyfriend, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. However, Joaquin was worried that Sherriff Keller wouldn’t be a fan of his son’s gang member boyfriend. Kevin went out of his way to make his dad happy and not to disappoint him in any way. What if Joaquin was a disappointment? Joaquin wouldn’t want Kevin to choose between him and his dad. “Joaquin, chill out okay?” Kevin chuckled at the other’s nervousness. “It’s gonna be just fine, I promise. My dad isn’t completely oblivious, he is a cop, and he probably has an idea of who you are.” Kevin knew that his dad had seen him and Joaquin together at Pop’s, he’d seen them kiss behind the shed in the Keller’s backyard, and he had definitely seen Joaquin hastily sneak out of Kevin’s bedroom window. “He has an idea of who I am, and that should calm me done?” Joaquin exclaimed. “Yes. Because my dad knows not to judge a book by its cover. He has a gay son, you may remember.” “Yeah, a gay son who is dating a gay Southside Serpent. I’m sure that’s all he could hope for.” Joaquin was aware that he was overacting slightly, but this could really make or break his relationship with Kevin. Kevin sighed, a little exasperated by Joaquin’s anxiety. He brought his hands up to cup his boyfriend’s face, slowly leaning in and giving him a gentle kiss. “You look fantastic.” Kevin grins, giving Joaquin an appreciative once over. “You are a kind, funny, and smart guy. I see it, and I’m sure my dad will as well.” Joaquin smiled, a blush rising up his neck onto his cheeks. “Let’s go, you ready?” “As ready as I’ll ever be.” Joaquin sighed, taking Kevin’s hand and following him up to the front door. Kevin opened the door and Joaquin was hit by a fantastic aroma. Whatever Sheriff Keller had made for dinner, it smelled fantastic. Kevin voiced Joaquin’s thoughts. “Wow Dad, that smells incredible. What is it?” Kevin’s dad was leaning over the stove, stirring something in a pot. “Well, we’ve got ham and rolls on the table, and now I’m just finishing up the garlic pasta.” He wiped his hands on a towel that was hanging over his shoulder before turning around, seeing Joaquin face to face for the first time. “And, you must be Joaquin. Kevin, actually, has not told me much about you.” Joaquin shook Sheriff Keller’s hand, trying to exude confidence while being respectful. “It’s, uh, it’s nice to finally meet you sir.” Joaquin stuttered out, any semblance of confidence gone as soon as he opened his mouth. Kevin, sensing the slight rise of tensions, spoke up. “Dad, is the pasta ready yet? We could sit down for dinner and talk some more.” “Sure, son.” Sheriff Keller responded, but waited for a minute before taking his eyes off of Joaquin and returning to the pot on the stove. As the sheriff finished the pasta, Kevin led Joaquin into the dining room where they began to talk in rushed whispers. “Does your dad always carry his holstered gun around the house like that? Or am I receiving special treatment?” “That’s just for you, I think.” Kevin admitted. “Uh, Joaquin, there is something I forgot to tell you.” “What?” Joaquin exclaimed, his nerves causing his voice to rise from a whisper. “Shh, calm down. It’s just that I just realized, I’ve never brought a boy home to meet my dad, serpent or otherwise.” Kevin felt slightly embarrassed at the admission that he had never had a real boyfriend before. “So that might be why my dad’s being weird, not the whole serpent thing.” Joaquin went to respond, to comfort or to freak out Kevin didn’t know, but he was cut off by the entrance of Sheriff Keller. “The pasta is ready, let’s eat.” He said hastily and with no welcoming tone. Joaquin sat down with a rushed and nervous manner about him. Meanwhile, Kevin sat down with the casualness of someone who had been eating at this dining room table all of his life. The food was spooned onto plates and quickly enough Joaquin was sitting in front of a plate full of delicious food; it was something he hadn’t seen in a while. Joaquin was speechless, staring at the pile of food and listening to Kevin and his dad share the stories of their days. He didn’t even notice when they stopped talking until Kevin kicked him under the table. “Ouch.” Joaquin exclaimed before looking up from his plate to see that both Kevin and Sheriff Keller were staring at him. “I, uh, I’m sorry I got distracted, what?” “My dad asked if you liked the food.” Kevin clarified, looking slightly concerned. Joaquin looked back down at his untouched plate before responding. “Um, it looks fantastic. It’s been a while since I sat down to a home cooked meal.” Joaquin confessed, but immediately regretted reminding the cop in front of him that he came from trailer trash. To avoid the momentary silence, Joaquin picked up his knife and fork and began to cut into the slice of ham on his plate. Sheriff Keller broke the silence, “So Joaquin, tell me a little about yourself, and exactly what you are seeking from my son.” “Dad!” Kevin gasped, and if Joaquin was right, kicked his dad beneath the table. Joaquin finished chewing the ham that was in his mouth. “You don’t have to answer that Joaquin.” Kevin stated. “No, no it’s fine Kev.” Joaquin wiped his mouth quickly before answering. “Uh, I moved to Riverdale when I was about four with my older brother. He used all of his savings to buy us a trailer on the Southside. Um, after that, there isn’t much to tell. I don’t really play any sports, I’m not an art person really. I guess I’m kinda into photography.” Joaquin shrugged, not really sure how else to describe himself. “As for the second part of your question, I don’t know if seeking would be the right word. I’m hoping to form and maintain a loving relationship with Kev.” Joaquin had shed some of the nervousness from before settling into the conversation. Sheriff Keller seemed happy with the answer, but had a few more questions for Joaquin. “And you are a serpent yourself?” “They are the only family I’ve ever known sir. But no. I’m not a serpent yet, and recently I’ve been hoping to do something with my life besides gang activity.” Joaquin was telling the truth. After spending time with Kevin and hanging out with kids on the Northside, Joaquin wanted to achieve something in his life bigger than what the serpents could provide. “And how do your parents feel about that?” Sheriff Keller asked, very nonchalantly. At the mention of Joaquin’s parents, Kevin sat forward and reached for Joaquin’s hand. “Dad, seriously.” He hissed, but Joaquin nodded gently. “Kev, seriously, it’s okay.” Joaquin reassured. “Uh, my parents died in a car crash before we moved to Riverdale, sir.” “I’m sorry, kid. I didn’t know.” Sheriff Keller seemed taken aback. Joaquin shrugged. It really was fine, he had never really known his parents anyhow. The night continued with more surface level, but amiable conversation. Joaquin finished his meal and spent the rest of the night holding Kevin’s hand and enjoying the overall feeling of family. As the night came to a close, Joaquin shook Sheriff Keller’s hand before Kevin walked him out. “Well, that went well.” Kevin smiled, fiddling with the lapels of Joaquin’s jacket. “Yes, I would say it did. You’re very lucky to have a dad that accepting.” Joaquin leaned into Kevin’s touch, leaving mere inches between the two. “I am. Very lucky, I have a dad who is super accepting and now I’m standing, alone, with my very hot boyfriend who I’ve been wanting to kiss all night.” “Oh yeah?” Joaquin goading, bringing them closer. “Yeah.” Kevin mumbled, their lips almost touching. “And what are you gonna do about it?” Joaquin began to tease, but was interrupted by Kevin pressing their lips together. Joaquin, still high off of the success from dinner, felt as if he was suffocating from happiness. This was too much, he shouldn’t be allowed to be a part of something as perfect and sacred as this. Kevin finally pulled away, resting his forehead against Joaquin’s. “I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy.” Joaquin admitted when he regained his voice. “I completely agree, Joaquin. This is pure bliss.” Kevin mused, kissing his boyfriend gently.
Hit me up if you have prompts, ideas, want to beta, or would like to be tagged in my future Kevin/Joaquin fanfics.
Also, if you guys want it, I might write a sequel of this were Kevin meets Joaquin’s brother and maybe some of the serpents.

Jane: There is a perception of you as a very private person. What is that you love enough, what is it that you get out of it enough that makes continuing being a public person even though you don’t love that part, worth it to you?
David: I don’t mind going to parties. I like parties. I think that’s a correct assumption about me, but what’s always attracted me about acting, or writing, directing or even music is just kind of just an idea of self-expression or being involved in a creative endeavor that is always kinda of reaching for some kind of perfection and always falling short necessarily because there’s no perfection in any of this. I really like the collaborative. All of us reaching towards some kind of a goal to make this the best show or the best movie or the funniest thing, best scene, funniest scene, best song, whatever, great song, and move on. I’m like a perfectionist in the moment and I can easily move on from something. So I feel like I’m always playing different games and that’s what I like and what I’ve always done and wanna keep doing. In terms of being a public person, I feel like recently politics is dominating everybody’s consciousness. It’s a really tough time, in a way, to be an artist. I feel more pressure now to be more public because I feel like there’s so much more at stake socially so I’m kinda wrestling with that idea.
David: The thing is that art and politics are opposed to one another. When politics goes into art it becomes propaganda. That’s exactly what it is. That’s why it’s strange for me when I see artists talking politics because as much as I understand the desire to have an effect and to help, to me politics is kinda what kills my art. If I wake up in the morning and I have to think about Trump one more time, it’s hard to write a song. It’s hard to think of beauty. So I’m kinda westling with that right now because, I, like everybody that I know, is kind of obsessed with what the hell is going on in the country right now so how do you make art right now? Is it stupid, is it silly of me to go and sing some *bleep* songs in San Francisco when the country is going to hell in a hand basket. I don’t know. Is it? Maybe. I don’t know. These are questions that are hard to answer right now.
Jane asks him if music was always something he was doing.
David: No, no it really kind of came out of… well, I’ve had a life long love of music and I’ve always played music and I’ve always had music playing wherever I lived, but never played guitar or any instrument really. Never sang, never wrote music, but about 6-7 years ago I decided to make better use of all the down time an actor has in a trailer and I was also going through a divorce at the time so I had a lot of time that I would’ve been with my kids, I had alone, and I had a lot of emotion, I had a lot of unresolved kind of stuff going on and I just found that strumming a guitar, as cliche, it’s like the guy in animal house, I gave my love a cherry. Well luckily I was alone because I certainly deserved to have the guitar smashed.
Jane asks if he hired a teacher or watched YouTube videos.
David: What I did was I would look up songs that I liked and then I’d look up the chord progressions and then I would learn those chords and I did a very, very actory-tricky thing where, this is probably the 5th or 6th year of Californication, I came back to the producers and I said, “Hey I think Hank Moody takes guitar lessons.” So they had to pay for me and this wonderful guy named Carlos Calbo started teaching me cause he had taught my daughter, my TV daughter on the show Madeleine Martin, he taught her to play guitar so I starting with him and the cheap actor that I am, I did the same thing on Aquarius. I said, “Sam Hodiak plays guitar.” So I continued to get free lessons. I should’ve said something like Sam Hodiak drives a Lambourghini, but I didn’t. Would’ve been smarter. But I didn’t.
David: I love the Bay Area. I love it. I wished I live there. My daughter, who’s going to Dartmouth next year, we visited Berkley cause that was a choice, but she got an early decision Dartmouth so she’s going there. But I was smitten with Berkeley and all of San Francisco really. I hope you make it to the show.
For @vavieddfan Enjoy! My fingers are dead now cause the babe does talk a lot. But we love him for it. :D <3
