Fluidity (Castiel x Reader)
Castiel x Reader One Shot
Summary: Imagine having been hit by a witch’s spell that makes you able to see more frequencies of light than the normal human, which results in your seeing Castiel’s wings for the first time.
Author note: I was actually terrified to do this one because I’m soooooo bad at Castiel things, but I’m kind of proud of myself. This turned out to be approximately 2037203948x better than I was expecting. Approximately.

Closing your eyes didn’t work, and even as you sat in the backseat of the Impala with the heels of your hands digging into your eyes, a groan escaping your lips every time Dean’s crazy driving sent you bouncing in your seat, removing your hands from your eyes slightly, you couldn’t stop it. You couldn’t stop the light or the brightness or the silent noise that was erupting from everywhere around you. A car would pass and you saw the light through your eyelids, saw a thousand more colors than you thought possible even though your eyes were clamped shut.
“Did you catch what spell it was?”
“No,” Sam paused, and while your eyes were closed you guessed he was still flipping through his phone in search of whatever spell the witch cast on you. “No, I don’t see anything. Y/N, you said it’s affecting your eyes?”
“I’m seeing colors that don’t fucking exist,” you growled out, your voice low and cracked when another color you’d never seen—couldn’t even imagine being forced to describe—danced across your vision as a car drove past the Impala. “You tell me what that means to you and maybe I’ll be of assistance.”
